Do you know the Bible is God's Holy Word? Do you know it is
-
inspired, in errant, and infallible? If so, like, share,
-
subscribe and support this podcast. So we are mere Natha Ministries and now Reduction
-
Draweth Nigh. Welcome, Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to the program. We
-
are your host, Leonard Oliverez and Matthew Millard. Tonight we've got a special
-
topic that Leonard has been studying apart from me. So he's been looking at
-
the Book of Jude, which is it is most appropriate and it is most
-
perfectly put right before the Book of Revelation, as it should be because it
-
speaks to things that are going down live and in real time in the church
-
today. This is really what is happening. This is really what's going on.
-
So Leonard, why don't you jump on here and give us, you
-
know, give us a little history here. How long have you been studying
-
Jude? In what format? Have you been studying it? All the good
-
stuff? What's what's been going on here lately? So you know, I've
-
been talking to a pastor here what I know where I live, and I
-
was just challenging him that study the word not to show that you know more,
-
I know more, and so that it can activate something within us,
-
you know, to see what the spirit of God is showing them and showing
-
me, and we can bring it together so it can be like an irony
-
sharpening iron and type of deal. And uh so I said, just pick
-
whatever book, whatever you know, chapter doesn't matter, and he said this,
-
dude, Jude. So as I begin to read, Jude, just
-
all this stuff started like popping in my mind as I've been, you know,
-
going through each of the verses, just all the stuff God was bringing
-
back to my remembrance of the Old Testament, because you know, God always
-
leads you back to what's happened before, always, man always, And I
-
also was taken back to that second Peter. Chapter two is like it's like
-
almost an exact picture of this of this book, you know, it's it's
-
it's almost exact, you know, of what they're talking about. And just
-
seeing that how this each part, because they're broken up in parts, each
-
part just takes you somewhere else. And it's it's just so much, you
-
know, and but it speaks for of what's going on today. I mean
-
most definitely it speaks, it expeaks, it speaks about that. So,
-
uh, I just that's why I was talking to you, Matthew, And
-
I just want to do this study just to get a clearer perspective on uh
-
and what how you see it, you know, and uh, to go
-
through this. I think it's important, man, I think this is all
-
God's word is important. But this just you know, I mean, this
-
just rapid fires back and forth. Man, It's it's pretty crazy. Yes,
-
it's it's very rapid fire. It's very very direct, very to the
-
point. And the book is very concerned with heretics. Let's just I need
-
to use the proper phraseology. Jude is extremely concerned for Christians that are inside
-
of churches that have heretics all around them. That's the problem with this book.
-
And Jude is addressing the Christians inside the scenarios, and he talks about
-
some pretty disturbing things here. He well, because this is such a short,
-
short book. I mean, it's only twenty five verses long. It's
-
blunt. You can't get any blunter than it is here. And there's things
-
stated here that well are kind of kind of the worst verses in the whole
-
Bible. For a great deal of many heretics today, which are known as
-
Antiinomians. They also go by the manter of free grace. They literally say,
-
you just continue to sin, you pillage your way into the Kingdom of
-
heaven. That's literally what they preach. And this is all over just about
-
every denomination you could go to, because this is a pastor by pastor thing
-
here in verse four, this is one of the most hated verses because it
-
comes out and says that they that these free gracers, and this is where
-
this is built upon. These ungodly persons turn to grace of our God into
-
well. Certain translations have different words for this. The English Standard version has
-
sensuality here. Some versions of the KJV has a lasciviousness. The New American
-
Standard Bible uses a different word. But this word is not new to the
-
Hellenic It's not the only time it's in the Bible is just here. It's
-
used in other places too, But in those other places they switch up the
-
words that you can't see it, and that is very upsetting to some people,
-
and most appropriately, it's very upsetting to me. But I know that
-
this word here for sensuality or deliciousness. It's actually in the New Testament nine
-
times. You can't hide it from me because I'm not looking at the English.
-
I look at the Greek. That's what I look at. So it's
-
very upsetting. Uh. You know, I've got to say this verse four
-
is probably the most unpopular verse in the modern church. And that's just that's
-
just the way it is. So how long have you been studying Jude with
-
this this pastor just for about a week and a half, And how much
-
have you gleaned in a week and a half? Well, I, I
-
you know, I've so when he brought it up and I began to read
-
it, I just right away I started sewing my son and that day he
-
came in and uh, he was like, Dad, you know, it's
-
crazy that you brought that up. Me and my wife were just reading that
-
like literally ten minutes before we came over here. You know, they were
-
at the park reading that together. The Lord put in his heart to read
-
that, and I just was telling him, yeah, you know, this
-
is this is what God had chose chosen us for us to read. And
-
uh, you know a lot of things that have been going through that.
-
I mean, like I was telling you, Matthew, like the first one
-
is uh, Kora's rebellion. How this it mentions Kora's rebellion, you know,
-
within these chapters, I mean, within these verses, and how I
-
went back to looking at Koru's rebellion and you know, just seeing the type
-
of people who they were, And how I told you about how that word
-
for princess or those leaders also can be translated as clouds. And I was
-
telling you how improverbs it says they are clouds without water. And if you
-
look a couple of verses down, it mentions that exact almost the exact wording.
-
I you, how does that set with you? I mean, what
-
does that really mean to you? Because I know what it means to me.
-
Yeah, it's just men without the spirit of God. And you know
-
that's kind of harsh for you to say that, but you're getting that from
-
the book of Genesis, right, Genesis chapter one, right. I mean,
-
this is what made all this work. Ladies and gentlemen. I appreciate
-
that you think in your mind that we're all alive because of physics. No
-
we're not. I mean, it's nice that our planet lies within the habitable
-
zone that goldilocks distance from our star, but that's not true. What is
-
true. Is this the Bible, God's Holy Word says that in the beginning,
-
the spirit of the Living God moved upon the surface of the water.
-
That's where your paradigm needs to be. If you're a God fearing, Bible
-
believing, Gospel preaching Christian, your paradigm, your cosmology is derived from Genesis
-
chapter one. So when the Bible comes out and Juden says they are clouds
-
without water, you know you've got a serious problem. These people are not
-
what they say they are. And that's what Jude says. In so many
-
different ways. It's kind of crazy. They are. Boy. You know,
-
there is a fine line today between many many denominations of churches we have.
-
There are many denominations that believe that because they were baptized as a child,
-
they are automatically Christians by nature and they are going to heaven and they
-
literally live out their lives doing whatever they want. And they firmly believe their
-
mother told them this, their dad told him this, their grandpa told them.
-
No, you were baptized into the church when you were two weeks old.
-
You're part of our church. You're going to heaven no matter what.
-
And I'm speaking to those people right now. If you are just living Christianity
-
by the numbers, if you're just going by the book, that is not
-
enough. You are not going to be satisfying to the Lord your God without
-
the injection, without the implementation of His Holy Spirit, period period. If
-
you don't know that, if you don't understand it, it's because you have
-
not taken time to read a New Testament yourself. Because it says that everywhere.
-
It literally says it everywhere. First John three point ten says it very
-
adequately. It does not take a rocket scientist to tell who are the children
-
of God and who are not. It's those people who continue to live in
-
their sin. So just don't work, clear, Leonard. If there's a
-
kleptomaniac out there somewhere, he literally cannot help but steal. The Lord Jesus
-
Christ can save you, and he can save you from theft. Yes he
-
can. I'm going to give you example because I have and knowledge, because
-
I volunteered at a homeless shelter shepherd community. I guarantee you we categorically recorded
-
this that the Lord Jesus Christ saved many alcoholics from alcohol. Yes, yes
-
he did. There were many prostitutes there that I helped. This is a
-
fact. The Lord Jesus Christ saved them from prostitution. Now they don't do
-
that anymore. So the Lord Jesus Christ can empower you through his Holy Spirit
-
and save you from anything. Leonard, I don't care what you're doing.
-
And if someone is singing to a different tune, they're not carrying a tune.
-
They're barking like a dog. So everybody needs to realize that before you
-
read the Book of Jude, that this is directed towards poor Christians. They're
-
in Baptist churches, and they're in Methodist churches, they're in Catholic churches,
-
they're in Episcopalian churches, and they're surrounded by heretics. That's what he's talking
-
about. That's the message of Jude. If you don't understand that, you
-
don't understand anything of value. Because if you do not understand anything that will
-
save your soul from the fires of hell, you're wasting your time. I
-
don't care if you're a rocket scientist. I don't care if you're a musician.
-
None of that matters. When this place burns, and it is going
-
to burn. Are we going to read these to verses, Leonard, or
-
you just want to talk about them verse by verse. We can go ahead
-
and read the whole chapter, and then we can go through the verse by
-
verse. Would you like to read it or you want me to. I
-
like the way you read, so I'd like to. I would like you
-
for you to read it. Of course, we're going to be reading out
-
of the New American Standard Bible, the nineteen ninety five Update. Jude A
-
bond servant of Jesus Christ and brother of James. To those who are cold
-
beloved in God the Father and kept for Jesus Christ, be mercy and peace
-
and love be multiplied to you, beloved. While I was making every effort
-
to write to you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write
-
to you appealing that you can tend earnestly for the faith which was once for
-
all handed down to all the saints. For certain persons have crept in unnoticed,
-
those who were long beforehand marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who
-
turned the grace of God into luiciousness, and deny our only Master and Lord,
-
Jesus Christ. Now I desire to remind you, though you know all
-
things once for all that the Lord, after saving the people out of the
-
land of Egypt, subsequently destroyed those who did not believe, and angels who
-
did not keep their own domain but abandoned their proper abode. He has kept
-
in eternal bonds under darkness for judgment for the great day justice Sodom and Gomorrah
-
and the cities around them, Since they, in the same way as these
-
indulged in gross im morality, and when after strange flesh are exhibited as an
-
example and undergoing the punishment of eternal fire. Yet in the same way these
-
men, also by dreaming, defile the flesh, and reject authority, and
-
revile angelic majesties. But Michael, the archangel, when he disputed with the
-
devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him.
-
A railing judgment be said, the Lord rebuke you. But these men
-
revile the things which they do not understand, and the things they know by
-
instinct, like unreasoning animals. By these things they are destroyed. Woe to
-
them, for they have gone the way of pain, and for pay.
-
They have rushed headlong into the air of belum and perished in the rebellion of
-
Karrah. These men who are hidden reefs in your feast, when they feed
-
with you without fear, erring for themselves, clouds without water, carried along
-
by winds, often trees without fruit, doubly dead, uprooted, wild waves
-
of the sea, casting up their own famelike foam, wandering stars for whom
-
the black darkness has been reserved forever. It was also about these men that
-
in It the seventh generation from Adam prophesied, saying, behold, the Lord
-
come with many thousands of his holy ones, to execute judgment upon all,
-
and to convict all the ungodly of all their ungodly deeds, which they have
-
done in an ungodly way, and for all the harsh things which ungodly sinners
-
have spoken against him. These are grumblers finding fault following after their own lust.
-
They speak arrogantly, flattering people for the sake of gaining advantage. But
-
you, beloved, ought to remember the words that were spoken beforehand by the
-
apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, that they were saying to you. In
-
the last time, there will be mockers following after their own ungodly lust.
-
These are the ones who caused divisions, worldly minded, devoid of the spirit.
-
But you, beloved, building yourselves up in the most holy faith,
-
praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting
-
anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal lives. And have
-
mercy on some who are doubting, save others, snatching them out of the
-
fire. And some have mercy with fear, hating even the garment polluted by
-
the flesh. Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling,
-
and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy,
-
God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, be glory,
-
majesty, dominion, and authority before all time and now and forever.
-
Amen, Leonard, your thoughts, I mean, that's a whole lot.
-
That's a whole lot, man, you know. I mean it is really
-
pretty self explanatory, but you know, I just want to dig dig into.
-
Uh. It's just a warning, you know, it's a warning to
-
all believe. You know, God is warning us and we all need to
-
take key to this morning. I mean, that's that's my first thought,
-
is we need to take key to this morning. Well, yeah, this
-
is pretty harsh that. You know, many people get caught up in the
-
details, right, but this is what he's doing. He's categorically saying that,
-
look, there's this bunch of people. Okay, they were all delivered
-
from Egypt, right, they was all delivered from Egypt. I guess what
-
the ones of them that didn't believe, they didn't make it. They died,
-
They never made it to the promised Lam. God killed them, Yes
-
he did, Yes he did. Not only that, he says here that
-
even the angels that did not keep their proper place, they're dude. Let
-
let me say that a more pronounced way, they're damn. And he just
-
keeps going through and giving you examples that. Look, if you are a
-
Christian, if you are inside of God through the Lord Jesus Christ, you
-
better toe the line. I don't know what other better way to put it.
-
Because if you think you're above God's law, your death, because even
-
the devil himself knows better than that. And that's really what this is saying.
-
You know, Matthew was wondering if you can read a tewod Peter chapter
-
two, which which part the whole thing, the whole thing all right,
-
I'm sure we can do that. Second Peter, chapter two, once again
-
from the New American Standard Bible nineteen ninety five update. But false prophets also
-
arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you,
-
who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the master who bought them,
-
bringing swift destruction upon themselves. Many will follow their sensuality. Yes here
-
we're speaking in the along the same lines. I'm sorry I interrupt in God's
-
word. Let me start getting Many will follow their sensuality, and because of
-
them, the way of the truth will be maligned. And they are agreed.
-
They will exploit you with false words. Their judgment from long ago is
-
not idle, and their destruction is not asleep. For if God did not
-
spare the angels when they send, but cast them into hell and committed them
-
to bits of darkness reserved for judgment, and did not spare the ancient world,
-
but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when
-
he brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly, And if he condemned
-
the cities of Sodom and Gomorah to destruction by reducing them to ashes, having
-
made them an example to those who would live ungodly lives thereafter. And if
-
he rescued righteous low oppressed by the sensual conduct of unprincipled men, for by
-
what he saw and heard that righteous man, while living among them, felt
-
his righteous soul tormented day after day by their lordless deeds, then the Lord
-
knows how to rescue the godly from temptation, and to keep thee unrighteous under
-
judgment for the day of judgment. And especially those who indulge the flesh in
-
its corrupt desires and despise authority. Daring self willed, they do not tremble
-
when they were vilentelic majesties, whereas angels, who are greater in might and
-
power, do not bring a rail in judgment against them before the Lord.
-
But these like on reasoning animals, born like creatures of instinct, to be
-
captured and killed or evioling where they have no knowledge, will destruction of those,
-
and creatures will be destroyed, suffering wrong as the wages of doing wrong.
-
They count it pleasure to revel in the daytime. They are stains and
-
blemishes, reveling in their deceptions, and they rouse with you, having eyes
-
full of adultery, but never cease from sin, enticing unstable souls, having
-
a heart tainted in greed. A curse children for staking the right way.
-
They have gone astray, having followed the way of Blam, the son of
-
Bore, who loved the wages of unrighteousness. But he received a rebuke for
-
his own transgression, for a mute donkey speaking with the voice of a man
-
restrained the madness of the prophet. These are springs without water and misdriven a
-
storm, for whom the blackest darkness has been reserved. Or for speaking out
-
arrogant words of vanity. They enticed by fleshly desires, by sensuality, those
-
who barely escape from the ones who live in air, promising them freedom,
-
while they themselves are slaves of corruption. For by what a man is overcome
-
by this? He has explained. For if after they have escaped that the
-
violence of the world, by the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,
-
they are again entangled in them and are overcome, the last state has
-
become worse for them than the first. For it would be better for them
-
not to have known the way of righteousness than to having noted turn away from
-
the holy commandment handed onto them, it has happened to them. According to
-
the true proverb, a dove returns to its own vomit, and a soal,
-
after washing returns to wallowing in the mire glittered your thoughts. Yeah,
-
so I just noticed that, you know, reading those two chapters, they're
-
similar, you know, and some of the stuff they're saying about the old
-
world, about the you know, sodom, and about these people you know,
-
they're like clouds without water, but it uses it in a different way,
-
says it the same, but in a different way, you know.
-
To me, when I read that, I thought, you know, I've
-
never noticed that before. How these two you know, uh, the Stort
-
you know, chapters are pretty almost similar, you know. It just it
-
just was amazing to me as I was reading it, and how I was
-
tooking there, and just what the Lord was showing me with those you know,
-
giving me more detailed you know, about what's going on in Jude.
-
Just thought that was interesting. Yes, It's almost just like you could consider
-
this two witnesses, right, you know, exegetically we could, I mean,
-
we could literally tear these two chapters apart and literally they're saying the exact
-
same thing they have. They have similar examples, similar phraseology, and they're
-
both ringing true with the same exact messages. We who are Christians need to
-
be very, very weary of these people because they are infallibly in our midst.
-
So these two chapters, you could say that Second Peter, Chapter two
-
and Jude are like the Gospels literally, you know, literally you have four
-
witnesses with the Gospels, many of them have the exact same events in them,
-
and they're basically witnesses one to another. That's really what these two chapters
-
are. There are two witnesses to the same exact facts, mentions the same
-
exact thing, mentions them in the same exact ways. And one thing's for
-
sure. It screened this message that you cannot follow your senses. That's what
-
this Greek word really is pointing to this. You know, here you have
-
this several times that uses different different forms of the word sense as in sensuality.
-
That's what I'm reasoning animals doing. It just came right out and said
-
it. If you follow after your senses and your sensuality, you're nothing more
-
than a dog or a pig. That's what it said, Now, Jude
-
was more to the point in pointing out to you that look, you're supposed
-
to be filled with the spirit, and it's the spirit that's going to lead
-
you. But if you know these things and you continue in your sin and
-
proclaim this gospel of free grace, you have no hope. It just said
-
your current predicament is worse than it was before you were saved. And there's
-
no easy way to say that message. But this is exactly what has transpired
-
in the church today. I mean, these people are completely disconnected from God
-
through Jesus Christ and that connection, the connection between the two is the Holy
-
Spirit, and they're void of it. I mean, you know, Leonard,
-
a very hard topic. There's phraseology out there today that a spirit spirit
-
feeled Christian. Right, You've you've heard that phraseology before write letter. Yes,
-
I have sorry, had you on mute, I had myself on me.
-
So let me ask you directly. I know this is an uncomfortable question,
-
but we need to do it. So what's a Christian that's not spirit
-
filled? What's a Christian that's not Well, every every Christian should be spirit
-
filled, because as soon as you repent of your sins and ask Christ into
-
your heart. The Spirit of God resides in you. Now, if we're
-
talking about like some of these churches that say that if you don't speak in
-
tongues, you're not filled with the spirit, then I don't know. I
-
mean, I thought the Spirit of God fills you once He comes into you.
-
I mean that's my understanding of that. Okay, let's talk about some
-
of these denominations that, uh, well, you're baptized into the church when
-
you're an infant, usually sometime in the first two or three weeks you know
-
that you're born, and uh they're a member of the church. Yeah,
-
that isn't that doesn't make you a Christian. Being just baptized and all these
-
things that we do symbolically doesn't make us Christians, you know, or even
-
if we're speaking in an unknown tongue, because I remember growing up and seeing
-
that always kind of struck me as weird or where these people are speaking in
-
tongues, but they're like living like a life of a complete opposite than what
-
it was in church, like living like the straight world. And as soon
-
as they come on Sunday, they're just like speaking in tongues and filled with
-
the spirit. But my day through Friday. They're filled with the world.
-
And it always struck me as odd. Really, it struck you as odd.
-
It did as a child. And when I would see that, it
-
struck me as odd. Well, it didn't strike me odd as a child.
-
It struck me as fake. I mean, I don't have a problem
-
saying it. A Christian doesn't play a game. A Christian's not an actor
-
on Sunday. You're a Christian seven days a week, fifty two weeks out
-
of the year, or you're not. You're one of the other. And
-
that's what these two chapters screamed. You're one of the other. That's it.
-
You know, it is imperative that people know this, that there are
-
many chapters in the Bible that talks about the gifts of the spirit. Right,
-
yes, sir, I mean we could jump over to Oh, Romans
-
chapter eight. Right, it's pretty thorough in its delivery that if you're a
-
Christian and you're filled with the spirit, things are going to happen. Okay,
-
just a case in point verse nine. Here, write this down,
-
ladies, jentlemen, Romans chapter eight, Verse nine. However, you are
-
not in the flesh, but in the spirit. If Indeed, the spirit
-
of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the spirit of
-
Christ, he does not belong to him. Did everybody hear that? Because
-
that's what God meant that, That's what he meant. Verse ten. If
-
Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet
-
the spirit is alive because of righteousness. But if the spirit of Him who
-
raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from
-
the dead, will also give you life to your mortal bodies through his spirit
-
who dwells in you. I mean, that doesn't take a doctorate degree to
-
figure out, does it, Leonard? It's pretty plain to the desk.
-
Yeah, it's pretty simple. It is extremely simple. So ladies and gentlemen,
-
you need to read these. Look, this is what's going to happen
-
to a Christian. Okay, hearken to my voice, Leonard, when you're
-
a Christian. I don't care how that happens, ladies and gentlemen, but
-
this is what's going to happen. I mean, I understand that you might
-
be in a denomination that does this. You were baptized when you were an
-
infant, so they put you on the roster to the church. And now
-
you remember the church and you think you're saved. I'm saying you're going to
-
have to have an experience and Christianity and Jesus Christ is very personal. He's
-
very alive, and he's very real. And when you experience any him,
-
you're going to change. And this is what these verses are going to say.
-
Romans, Chapter nine, verse twenty eight. I'll just read a few.
-
And we know that God causes all things to work together for the good
-
to those who loved God, to those who were called according to his purpose.
-
Now listen, listen, for those who he foreknew, He also predestined
-
to become conformed to the image of his son, so that he would be
-
the first born among many brethren. And these whom he predestined, he also
-
called. And these whom he called, he also justified. And these whom
-
he justified, he also glorified, ladies and gentlemen. I'm just going to
-
ask Leonard a series of questions. Was the Lord Jesus Christ and alcoholic?
-
Leonard? No, did the Lord Jesus Christ indulge in pornography? No?
-
Was the Lord Jesus Christ a thief? No, okay, So I need
-
you to know something, Leonard. I can't follow you around twenty four hours
-
a day, but I'm here to tell you that whatever problem you have,
-
I don't know. Maybe you smoke marijuana, I don't know. I don't
-
care. Maybe you have a problem with lying to your wife. I don't
-
care. I'm telling you categorically that the Holy Spirit will make you conform to
-
the Lord Jesus Christ. Would the Lord Jesus Christ, would he lie to
-
your wife? Leonard? No, the Lord Jesus Christ via the Holy Spirit
-
is going to save you from whatever sins you're doing, Leonard. Yes,
-
he is, amen. I have meant and worked with many ex heroin addict
-
Slinard. Have you ever been around somebody who was addicted to heroin? Yes?
-
How pretty is that? That's not pretty at all? Is it easy
-
to get away from that addiction? No? Well, I hate to rent
-
on your party. I could give you a grand introduction to more than a
-
few people that the Lord Jesus Christ empowered and saved them from heroin. I'm
-
telling you the truth. Well, yeah, but you can't do it on
-
your own symposims. No, you, I've seen people overdosed and died a
-
couple times and still stuck the needle in their arm, knowing that they've died
-
like three different times. Yeah, by yourself. No, with Christ,
-
of course, he's the only one that can do that. He is the
-
only one that can do that. And he not only does, he has
-
done it, ladies and gentlemen, he has done it. And everybody needs
-
to know this. So really everybody needs to write down a couple of things.
-
Write this down, ladies and gentlemen. Antiinomianism, it's lawlessness. I
-
mean, most Christians know about the real popular man of lawlessness. Right,
-
Well, that's what it means, living free from God's law. People blow
-
me away when they'll ask me, you know, Jesus said, you know,
-
if you love me, keep my commandments right, And they have no
-
idea what commandments are literally Jesus'. And it blows me away. Then how
-
can you not know that? I mean, ladies and gentlemen, I'm going
-
to quote the Lord Jesus Christ himself. But if I cast out demons by
-
the finger of God, then the Kingdom of God has come upon you.
-
Why did I say that? Because I know Deuteronomy chapter nine, verse ten,
-
the Lord gave me two tablets of stone written by the finger of God.
-
Okay, so wake up. Don't think you can outthink me. When
-
it comes to the Hebraic law. Oh wh I know all six hundred and
-
thirteen laws. But God said something different here. The Ten Commandments he wrote
-
with his finger, and the Lord Jesus Christ declared himself to be in Luke
-
chapter eleven, verse twenty. I mean, I know it right off the
-
top of my head. He called himself the finger of God. So if
-
you're wondering about what did Jesus mean by that, if you love me,
-
keep my commandments. He's talking about the Ten Commandments. Let me say that
-
one more time. Write this down so you get it right. The Bible
-
God's hold me word says in Deuteronomy chapter nine, verse ten that he wrote
-
the Ten Commandments on two tablets with his finger. The Lord Jesus Christ declare
-
himself to be that finger in Luke chapter eleven, verse twenty. And if
-
you're an Antiinomian, well that means you are what you do. Leonard your
-
thoughts. I agree, you know, that's what I was telling this Muslim
-
man and this other guy that that I was training He was saying that.
-
The first guy, his name was Ben, and he was telling me that,
-
you know, I was telling him about Christ and the greatest gift he
-
can give his daughter is to gift the salvation and teaching her the gift to
-
sell because he loves his daughter. So that's what the Lord had told me
-
to put in my heart to talk about. First was his daughter. And
-
he was like, yeah, you know, I've gone to church and but
-
I kind of believe in like reincarnation, right, And so I asked him,
-
I said, Ben, what, okay, So you're saying that you
-
believe in reincarnation and you believe that you're going to come back as whatever you
-
come back as? What law? You know, what do you have to
-
follow to come back as something good? What is it? Like? What?
-
What what law do you have to follow? Because obviously even the people
-
that believe in karma and believing you're going to come back as something else,
-
they're following, they're saying they have to follow some type of law, right,
-
So what's that law? What is it? And he just looked at
-
me and he's like, well, be a good person, pretty much almost
-
saying the Ten commandments. I said it, I said, I said,
-
you know, in every religion that you have, you know, like one
-
of the major religions, they all steal from the creator. And uh,
-
they all steal from the creator, which is God. I said, that
-
law was created by Almighty God. He created that law. There is who's
-
to say that if I go kill your daughter, Who's to say that's wrong?
-
Who's to say that's wrong? If if if you know, if there
-
is no law, it will even within yourself, you know that's wrong,
-
even within yourself, even if me saying that makes you feel a certain way.
-
When I just said that to you, I said, God commands that
-
we follow the law. God commands, He demands it, right, I
-
said, But Jesus, when he was on earth, he even he even
-
went further. He says that even if you have hate in your heart,
-
or even if you think with your mind have lust for a woman, you've
-
already broken that law. Right, I said, Jesus is the only person
-
that has fulfilled that law. He took your sin and he placed it upon
-
himself. I told him, I said, so when you become a believer,
-
when you have when you accept Christ into your life, you're accepting that
-
you know that he that you are a sinner that needs to be right with
-
God. But the only way to do that, as it is through,
-
is through Christ. But he's the one that fulfilled that law. Because the
-
law makes you know that you're unrighteous, I said, right, So if
-
we see somebody killing somebody, the law lets us know that that person is
-
a killer and that's wrong. Right. If somebody goes and sleeps with your
-
wife, the law lets you know that that act of adultery is wrong,
-
right, because it brings pain in your life, It hurts and all that.
-
I said, somebody steals from you, that that act lets you know
-
that that's wrong, right, because it's your things that you've worked hard for.
-
And I go, But it's God is the one that has let us
-
know that we are sinners, right, that we are corrupt, I said.
-
Jesus came and he fulfilled the law. But it doesn't mean I said.
-
When I tell you about us having to follow the law, I don't
-
mean it in a way where it's you have to do it robotically, I
-
said, Because there's a lot of churches that work robotically. I told him
-
there's a lot of churches that feel if I do this on the outside,
-
then I'm good. I said. When you have a true relationship with Christ
-
and he changes your life, you repent, you change your mind, he
-
comes into your heart. You naturally don't want to do those things that happens
-
naturally. Why because you're in relation with God. I said. When you're
-
married with your wife, you don't want to cheat on her, you don't
-
want to. Or you have a relationship with your daughter, you don't want
-
to, you know, let her down and be a horrible father. You
-
naturally want to do what's right. I said, it's the same when you
-
have a relationship with God. Those things. I said, there's churches that
-
go and say you must do these things, and they forget the relationship that
-
you must. Uh, you know, you must act like a robot without
-
any love, because that's what it is. When you love somebody, you
-
automatically want to do that. Why because now the spirit of God is living
-
in you, residing in you, and it convicts you of what you should
-
and shouldn't do. But it happens naturally, happens naturally. And so I
-
was telling him, you know how that one day we're going to go before
-
God and we're going to be held accountable. So you're going to be held
-
accountable one day, man for this conversation that we're having today. You're going
-
to go before God and he's going to ask you, what did you do
-
with this son? Or how did you fulfill that law? But you can't.
-
The only one that can fulfill it is Christ. And when you have
-
Christ in your life, you naturally you're natural obedient. You know the same
-
thing. I told the Muslim guy that I was training, same thing.
-
I said, brother, you can pray five times a day. You can
-
abstain from pork, You cannot touch the bottle of alcohol to put it on
-
the shelf. You can do all that. And I said, those and
-
in those those things are good things. I get it. But if you
-
don't have a relationship and God requires that this law be fulfilled, how are
-
you even if you were to kill yourself, How can your corruption be made
-
righteous? I said, how could you make your own corruption righteous? I
-
said, don't you know that the Bible? I told him. The Bible
-
says that all your good works said so like helping the lady, old lady,
-
and helping your neighbor. I said, all those good works are a
-
filthy rags filthy. And he's like, well, brother, how can we
-
how could how can I be right before God? Then? How can anybody?
-
He told me, And I said, it's because of Christ. I
-
said, because I brought up that. Even if you, I said,
-
you see that woman over there, right there, you know, at pumping
-
gas. You know, see how she's wearing little shorts and all that.
-
And I said, if you have lust for that woman, even though you
-
have not created that act, you've made that act within your heart. And
-
that's when he asked, well, how can how can anybody be righteous before
-
God? And I explained to him because of Christ, Because Christ came and
-
he died. He was the I said, God requires a sacrifice. I
-
said, his name is Amar. I said, Amar, you cannot sacrifice
-
an animal, because an animal is not a man. That blood of an
-
animal is not satisfying to a holy God an animal. Omar, I said,
-
you cannot. It makes no sense. It has to be unblemish,
-
it has to be undefiled. It has to be without sin. Right,
-
I said, Jesus came without sin. I said, Omar, you believe
-
in the virgin birth. Right, I said, you believe in the in
-
your qur'an you have Marriam. I said, so you believe, right,
-
you believe that Jesus came and that he was born from a virgin birth.
-
Right. He said yes. I said, yes, I go, But
-
I go. So I go, Omar, in Genesis it says when it's
-
talking about Adam and Eve, I said, I said, it says that
-
your seed. I said, you know that word for seed, I said
-
a woman. I said, Omar, a woman can't have seed. She
-
carries an egg a seed. I go. It would have been better for
-
God to say to Adam. It would have made more sense, because carries
-
a seed. I go. But God was already having our redemption from the
-
beginning, I said. He told her, your seed is going to crush
-
the head of the serpent. Right, he was already given us redemption through
-
the woman. I said, So in your Qoran, that you you say
-
as holy that Jesus came as a virgin from a virgin, from a virgin
-
birth. I said, So that the reason why he was able to be
-
sinless, he was without sin. He was the perfect sacrifice. I said.
-
The Jews, back in the days, they used to have to sacrifice
-
animals, and you know, sprinkle the blood on the altar to try to
-
cover sins. But that wasn't enough. It's not enough because they're animals.
-
Amar I told them, animals, man is who's sinned. So Christ had
-
to come perfect, I said, and took on your mother's sin, your
-
daughter's sin, your father sin. All the people that you brought to America
-
from your from your family from fighting in the war. You brought them over
-
here because you were fighting with the United States. So they brought all your
-
family here so that they wouldn't die in in Babylon, because that's where he
-
was from, Iraq, Babylon. I said, so you brought them all
-
over here, I said, Christ died for them for that that sin.
-
I said, how can we, being corrupt, offer ourselves as a sacrifice
-
to a holy goddess at our mar We are corrupt? How can I even
-
sacrifice my body? But my body's in corruption. I'm corrupt, you,
-
I said, Omar, Adam and Eve made one sin, and it brought
-
death to the whole world. How many sins have you have you committed in
-
your mind? How many sins have I committed since I was a little boy?
-
How can my life sacrifice in my life, killing myself make me righteous
-
before a holy God. No God demands the perfect sacrifice. He demands that
-
you follow the law. He demands that the law be fulfilled. Why because
-
I said, Omar, Omar, God is holy, He's a holy God.
-
He's holy, he's holy, he's holy. Jesus fulfilled that he was
-
sinless. And when we have Christ in our heart, we've become holy as
-
God is holy. So I go, Omar, I understand that you see
-
people in churches and how can they do this? How can they drink?
-
How can they? I go, I get it, I go, because
-
those people don't have God in their heart, they don't have the spirit of
-
God in heart. Those are the people that you talk to that will talk
-
to you about football and talk to you about getting money. And I said,
-
do you know why they talk like that? Omar, I said,
-
because the Bible says, out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth
-
will speak. I go. Let me explain to you what it means by
-
abundance, I said, say, I have a basket full of apples,
-
and it's so filled that the apples are spilling out of the basket. So
-
therefore you know that I have a basket of apples why because you see them
-
falling on the floor. I said, Omar, that's how it is with
-
these people in their heart, what's in their heart is so much that it's
-
falling on the floor. So these people who are saying there are Christians are
-
not. These people who are saying they love God, they don't. You
-
can tell by their life. I go, but Jesus, if you truly
-
have a relationship with Jesus, you will be able to tell. And I'm
-
sorry that your wife has gone into an American church and they look down on
-
her. I'm sorry, but that's not a real Christian, I said.
-
A real Christian abides by the law. Why Because the one who fulfilled the
-
law lives within him. So that's what I have to say about that.
-
I'm sorry, pathy, No, that's that. That is that. We're
-
at the top of the hour. Can you pray us out of here?
-
