  1. Do you know the Bible is God's Holy Word? Do you know it is

  2. inspired, in errant, and infallible? If so, like, share,

  3. subscribe and support this podcast. So we are Marinatho Ministries and now Reduction Draweth

  4. Nigh. Welcome, Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to the program. We are

  5. your host Leonard and Matthew. Tonight we're getting back to the Book of Jude

  6. and lots to talk about here. There's lots of meat here, lots of

  7. things that well, the church just does not talk about these things. It

  8. just doesn't to say the least. So Leonard, what what's your thoughts?

  9. Where are you wanting to go tonight? What have you been looking at?

  10. What has God been showing you with you this week? Well, I just

  11. you know, I've just been going on the first couple of verses and uh,

  12. you know, it goes right back to when we left off about the

  13. law and how people uh don't have it within their heart, you know,

  14. they're lawless. I think this is the main gist of this whole book is

  15. those that are lawless and those that have the law within their heart, which

  16. is Christ, Jesus, the one that fulfilled the law. I think that's

  17. where we last left off. And you know, people just wanting to live

  18. their life feeling that they have freedom to sin. In actuality, we have

  19. the freedom of sin away from it that God Jesus he he he sacrificed that

  20. for us and these people. It's clear to see that these people are lawless

  21. and they you know they uh, I guess you would call it like not

  22. to pick on the crowd. The one saved, always saved. But there

  23. are some people in that crowd that I feel like they can still sin and

  24. continue to willfully sin, you know, not just like struggling. They're talking

  25. about willfully without even without even trying not to willfully sin, and still think

  26. they're going to make it into the Kingdom of heaven. Yes, and well,

  27. I mean people call that by different different names. Really that that that

  28. ideology is called Antinomianism. What does that mean? It means without the law,

  29. it means lawless. It means that these people believe that they don't have

  30. to follow the ten commands. Now it goes even further than that. You

  31. enter in these dangerous, dark, treacherous waters called free grace, where these

  32. people literally believe that they can molest children, they can murder, pillage,

  33. and go to heaven. They literally believe that. So these people are apart

  34. from us, and the Book of Jude is trying to relay that in in

  35. a very complicated way without coming out and saying it. Really, that's that's

  36. what this is accomplishing. And we have to realize that that the Bible is

  37. very plain, Leonard. It says that we Christians, we were chosen a

  38. very long time ago, way before we were born, that those types of

  39. things were already in place. And you know, really, really you get

  40. into that here in verse four with a single Greek word. It blows me

  41. away when I look at it, because I know exactly the group he's talking

  42. about, and most people that read you, they can't see if they have

  43. no idea what tie what group this goes back to. But there is a

  44. clear distinction between us and them, and it really has nothing to do with

  45. education, It really doesn't. It doesn't have anything to do with with your

  46. upbringing, and has nothing to do with societal norms. Everybody knows the difference

  47. between right and wrong, everybody. And there are some who have a very

  48. strong moral character. That is to say, they have a very strong conscience,

  49. and there's other people who do not, and they are diametrically opposed to

  50. the Kingdom of heaven. That's why the New Testament plainly states that there are

  51. the children of light and the children of darkness, makes itself very plain that

  52. we are diametrically opposed to each other. And really, you know, that's

  53. what this this is coming out and saying, listen, let's take a rid

  54. of this verse here, verse four. For certain persons have crept in unnoticed,

  55. those who were long beforehand marked out for this condemnation. Now that's a

  56. very serious thing to say, Leonard, isn't it. Oh yeah, I've

  57. been thinking about this. I mean you would literally say that, Well,

  58. how would you explain that? What is that saying to you? What does

  59. it mean to you? They're not written in the Lamb's Book of life.

  60. Boy, you got straight to the point, and really, well, it's

  61. kind of amazing to me that you actually said that, because unless you're looking

  62. at the Greek you don't realize what's actually being stated here, because in the

  63. Greek it's G forty through seventy throw grapple. Well, what on earth does

  64. that mean? Well, that's why I mean, I like the New American

  65. Standard Bible here, but it's not stating it as it is using this this

  66. Greek word. Now the KJV doesn't do it either, it says ordained.

  67. No, that's not right. This is written before. Now, ladies and

  68. gentlemen, you hear that. That's kind of shocked. You're like, what

  69. what do you mean if they were written of before? Because that's exactly what

  70. this Greek word means. It means written beforehand. Prograffle and Leonard is right.

  71. The Bible is very clear that those of us who are the children of

  72. the Promise, we are written in the Lamb's Book of Life. There's no

  73. taking that back. You get this. Whenever of the Lord got exceedingly angry

  74. with the children of Israel and he had just flat had it with them,

  75. and he told Moses, I'm going to take you and make a nation out

  76. of you. And he's like, now, remember your book. Of course,

  77. Moses was referring to the Lamb's Book of Life, so utilizing this word,

  78. because this word, in this exact case and form is only one other

  79. place in the Hellenica. Now, a lot of people don't realize what the

  80. clinic is. What Marianatha ministry uses to form the Greek Bible is the Subtuligen

  81. coupled with the Addo Regia manuscript, which one is the Adidal Regia. It's

  82. where you get your chapters and verses from. That's where they came from,

  83. the fifteen fifty edition of Stefanos. That is what we use. When you

  84. look into that, this exact case and form of this word is only one

  85. other place. Because here this verb is in the nominative plural masculine case in

  86. Greek. That's very complicated. If you don't know Greek, that's that's pretty

  87. complicated. It's a it's on order of magnitude more complicated than English. So

  88. having this word appear somewhere else in the Hellenica is a miracle. It's literally

  89. a miracle, nothing short of that. So that place is in Daniel,

  90. chapter three, verse three. The problem is that it gets even more complicated

  91. because most editions of the setuagent don't really have the sebtuagent. Daniel it's been

  92. usturbed by the Theodosian translation of the Hebrew into Greek. In short, it

  93. is a lie. Let me say that again. Most septuagents you get in

  94. print they will not give you the septuagent Daniel. Instead, they will put

  95. in its place the translation of the Hebrew by the scholar Theodosian. So,

  96. if you're looking into a subtugent translation and you don't know this, and you're

  97. looking at let's say, the Thompsons is pretty popular for subtugen and the Britons,

  98. you're going to get wrong. Those are incorrect. Those are not the

  99. Subcuagin. That's actually Theodotian. So I want to take a read of this

  100. in the Thompson, and you're going to see that verse two is basically just

  101. repeated in verse three, And if you're reading in Greek, it's painfully obvious.

  102. I'll read it to you of the Thompson. Verse two and three key

  103. sent for the presidents and the generals, and the governors, the rulers,

  104. the princes and those in authority, and all the chiefs of the provinces to

  105. come to the dedication of the image which Bukenz the king had set up verse

  106. three. And then the governors, the presidents, the generals, the leaders,

  107. the great princes, those in authority, and all the chiefs of the

  108. princes were assembled for the dedication of the image, which never condidered the king

  109. set up and we're standing before the image. Of course, you can plainly

  110. hear this in English. He just repeated the list of all the people that

  111. was there. This is not what the subtuagent does. The septuagent actually does

  112. this quoting from the nets, this is the main stay that we use for

  113. Maranath the ministries. This is the new English translation of the Subduagen for this

  114. very reason, because when you get a copy of this, ladies and gentlemen,

  115. they will have Theodosians on one side of the page and the actual Greek

  116. on the other. And it says this and the aforementioned stood in front of

  117. the image very short first, but that word it used here for aforementioned,

  118. that's not really correct. This is prografo those who were afore written this list

  119. of leaders. Jude did this on purpose. You know the story I'm talking

  120. about, right, Leonard, Yes I do. And you know this group

  121. of people he's talking about, right, And you know exactly what happens,

  122. don't you. Right, So, ladies and gentlemen, you may have forgotten

  123. what happened here, So I'm going to read it for you from the top

  124. from verse three or chapter three of Daniel, and I'm going to read all

  125. the way to verse eight and what happens in the eighteenth year of Nebukanezert,

  126. when he was managing cities and regions and all who live from India to Ethiopia,

  127. he also made a golden image. Its height was sixty cubits and its

  128. width was twelve cubits. And he set it up on the plane of the

  129. enclosure of the region of Babylonia. And Nebulkaneszer, king of kings and ruling

  130. the whole inhabited world, sit together, all the nations and tribes and languages,

  131. set traps in generals, local rulers, magistrates, administrators, and authority

  132. by region, in all those in the inhabited world to come to the dedication

  133. of the golden image which King Nebukaneszer had established. And the aforementioned stood in

  134. front of the image, and the herald heralded to the crowds. I tell

  135. you, o, nations, peoples and languages, whenever you hear the sound

  136. of the horn pipe, lyar trygone harp and a symphony of all kinds of

  137. musical instruments, You should bow down to do obeessance to the gold image which

  138. King Nebulkaneszar has set up, and anyone at that time, when all the

  139. nations heard the horn and the sounds of the musical instruments, all the nations,

  140. tribe languages falling down, they did obeessance to the gold image that Nevikannezar

  141. had set up verse eight. At that time, when Kaledean men came forward,

  142. they denounced the Judeans. So as you can see, what this text

  143. is actually saying in the Greek is that everybody but those from Judah bowed,

  144. and he was very plain. This text says the entire inhabited world, which

  145. at that time that's exactly what it was. It said from India all the

  146. way through Ethiopia. You know, it's interesting you say that, Matthew,

  147. because even in verse one in Jude, I mean it starts off like that.

  148. I mean it starts off as Jude, which is Judah, a bond

  149. servant of Jesus Christ and brother of James, was his Jacob the supplanter,

  150. which is Jacob. That's right. That was the next thing I was going

  151. to bring up, because well, that's what he's talking about here. He's

  152. prophetically letting you know, he's tying this back to his own name, Judah.

  153. This is a riddle in Greek, but in English you can't see it.

  154. And Leonard is exactly correct. When you look at this in Greek,

  155. ladies and gentlemen, you're seeing the singular form of the word I just read.

  156. The Kaladeans immediately came after those from Judah, because they of course would

  157. not bow out to the image. They wouldn't dance with the devil. They

  158. refused to do it. And you need to understand that. Well, that's

  159. how this book starts out, and a lot of people get very upset when

  160. they realize that that. Well, mine says Jude, and James, I

  161. don't care what year says, and everybody better figure this out very quickly.

  162. The mess that the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is in is absolutely because

  163. of the shepherds. Yes it is. And I'm telling you emphatically with authority

  164. utilizing the Delich Hebrew New Testament and the Adiddo Regia, I'm telling you this

  165. is the book of Judah and he was the brother of Jacob. Yes,

  166. that's what it says in Greek. So when you realize what's prophetically being stated

  167. here, he is saying that these people were written before their damnation is sure,

  168. just as assuredly as the children of the Promise have been written beforehand prograph

  169. into the Lamb's Book of Life. So this is extremely important that you tie

  170. these two things together. If you can't see it, you don't understand that

  171. he's saying, no, there's nothing that can be done with this group,

  172. and they are the group when the time comes, is absolutely going to take

  173. the mark of the Beast, and there's nothing that can be done about it.

  174. And this is exactly why the New Testament is emphatic about your your your

  175. personal family, not your Christian family, your personal family. The Lord Jesus

  176. Christ made himself very clear it's your personal family members that are not written in

  177. the Lamb's Book of Life that's absolutely going to betray you and they're absolutely going

  178. to take the mark of the Beast. Now those may be harsh words,

  179. but you're going to see every word that came out of Jesus christ mouth come

  180. true. So you better just take it to the bank. And the closer

  181. we get to this time, you have to realize if there are members in

  182. your family that you know are not written in the lambst Book of Life.

  183. You need to cut them off like cancer. I'm sorry to say that it

  184. is true because when the die comes, they are going to betray you.

  185. They're going to betray you to death. So this is exceptionally true. Considering

  186. your Christian family, the people you go to church with, the other people

  187. that call themselves Christian. This is what this book is warning against. Their

  188. damn nation? Is sure? Here the Greek says it does not sleep.

  189. It used the words to sleep. Leonard, your thoughts, ah, this,

  190. you're right? You know these people, I mean, it says it

  191. right here. You know, Jacob, you know which is you know the

  192. supplanter. You know these people are These people haven't been called because it says

  193. to those who are called beloved in God and kept for Jesus Christ. You

  194. know, those people are not called beloved in God, the Father and kept

  195. for Jesus Christ, the just they're not called. It's like it kind of

  196. reminds you. I was thinking going through this and thinking about Korra, how

  197. those men weren't called but Moses and Aaron they were called, you know,

  198. And these people were trying to set them out up, set themselves up as

  199. being called and they were calling themselves, but they weren't called by God.

  200. They were trying to supplant you know, Moses and Aaron. But these people

  201. are doing the same thing here. Absolutely, they're doing the same thing from

  202. inside, just like they did, just like those that took part in Kara's

  203. rebellion. Did I mean they were actually priest? Right? I mean we

  204. are taught. I mean, if people are not familiar with the text,

  205. get familiar with numbers chapter sixteen. Because they were absolutely priest, weren't they,

  206. Leonard? They absolutely weren't right, But they were not children of the

  207. promise right, and was dealt with accordingly. But you know, let's digest

  208. he visions Chapter one, Verses three and four. Blessed be the God and

  209. Father of our Lord, Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual

  210. blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in him

  211. before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before

  212. Him in love. There's no taking that back. Verse five makes it perfectly

  213. clear. He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to himself,

  214. according to the kind intention of his will. There's no arguing about what this

  215. says Leonard. There's no arguing about it. And unfortunately, a great deal

  216. of people that's surrounding us, claiming to be children of the Promise are blatantly

  217. and obviously not. We see this especially with the clergy here. Over the

  218. past ten years. How many pastors have been arrested for molestation? How many

  219. pastors have been arrested for having video cameras secretly in the women's stalls and recording

  220. everybody that happened right down the street from me. I mean, this is

  221. no secret, is it, Leonard? It's no secret. No, I

  222. mean not just that, all kinds of sexual perversion. You know, a

  223. lot of these clergymen have been, you know, found fault, all kinds,

  224. all kinds of different whatever, you know, sexual des devans that they

  225. are. You know, they love, that's what they love, that's what's

  226. in their heart, and that is diametrically opposed to everything holy. It's just

  227. diametrically opposed for it. It's boy, there's just nothing for it. And

  228. it's so easy to do. And a lot of Christians don't realize that these

  229. people were never Christians. I have set in pastor's office and grilled them into

  230. the corner until they finally admitted, no, I'm not a Christian. I

  231. don't believe the Bible. This is my job. This is what pays my

  232. salary, and I'm making a good salary. Yes, ladies and gentlemen,

  233. I've cornered pastors in their own office because you can't follow a line of thinking

  234. with me and beat around the bush. And I hate to tell you this

  235. is the truth. I mean, how do you think liberal theologians get into

  236. power. They're not Christians. They're being funded by homosexual organizations. That's who

  237. paid to get their doctorate. I mean, this is common knowledge. Liberal

  238. theologians are not Christians, and that bothers a lot of people. But you

  239. need to understand that because that's why Jude was written. He is absolutely saying,

  240. Look, these people are setting right beside you, and there's just nothing

  241. for it. That there's the way it is. You know. The problem

  242. with this, Matthew, is that you know, at least with the sinner,

  243. you know they're in the world, right, there's no bones about it.

  244. They don't make no bones about it. Yes, I'm living in the

  245. world. I'm not I want to. They may not understand what they're saying,

  246. but they say, oh, I do want to continue sinning because I

  247. want to live the way I want to live. At least you can tell

  248. the difference between that versus somebody that's coming in and like a terror you know,

  249. that looks like you, you know, but when you have true discernment,

  250. you will know that they're not like you. But they're you know,

  251. involved in everything that you may be involved in, and your family's involved in,

  252. your kids are involved in, and they're there. And that's the scary

  253. thing, you know, that we're It's one thing if you were in the

  254. world, well you know what you're getting when you're in the world, but

  255. it's another thing to those that claim to be Christian or not. Well,

  256. yeah, that's well, I mean that's Leonard, you know, back to

  257. verse four. That's why it starts out with that Greek word. I mean,

  258. you're what we read it out of the New American Standard Bible says have

  259. crept in unnoticed. But that's not that's not two words, that's not three

  260. words. That's one word in Greek, right, and it's uh, it's

  261. G thirty nine twenty one. And ladies and gentlemen, it means to to

  262. come in stealthily, to sneak right. So that's the whole point of this

  263. entire chapter. He he is telling the Christians, Hey, these people are

  264. among you and you don't know it. One thing is for sure, you

  265. will know them by their fruit, won't shoot Leonard? Yes you will.

  266. You know. Let's let's use a really good example that everybody can identify with,

  267. Leonard. A lot of people like sports, don't they. Yeah,

  268. they do. And if you're ever over at their house for the Super Bowl,

  269. they don't act normal, do they. No? I mean, and

  270. they'll get up early just to watch the game if the game starts early.

  271. And when they get riled up, I mean, they can really get riled

  272. up, right, They can break things if their team doesn't make a good

  273. play. And you know what I'm talking about right right, they can break

  274. the TV? Leonard? Do Christians act like that? No? Well,

  275. I'm probably making a lot of people mad right now, aren't I You know

  276. what this reminds me of earlier? I was thinking and was thinking about Klora

  277. there, you know, Cora's Rebellion and how they were had censors with cols

  278. on it and were burning incense and uh, you know, those incense are

  279. are like a representation of our prayers, and it reminded me of why didn't

  280. bring this up. One of the brothers brought it up of Ezekiel eight where

  281. you know, uh where I think it was Ezekiel eight where he was showing

  282. the detestable things that was inside of the temple. But they were burning incense

  283. too, but on the walls was all like all this, you know,

  284. wickedness all written all over the walls and everything. Everything that was blasphemous or

  285. you know, was wickedness. It just it just reminds me of these people,

  286. the walls of their temple in their mind and their prayers that go up,

  287. the things that are in their mind. They're like that. They're like

  288. Cora, They're like the priest in Ezekiel that it's inside of their heart,

  289. the temple. That's right, it's inside their heart, and they can't contain

  290. it under the right circumstances. They can't contain it. They cannot help but

  291. reveal themselves under the right circumstances. You just need to pay attention to be

  292. in the right place at the right time. You need to observe the people

  293. around you, ladies and gentlemen, and by all me Danes. If you're

  294. invited into somebody's house, go But when you're there, don't sit around stupefied.

  295. You better read what books are on their shelves, You better find out

  296. what movies they have lying around in DVD cases, and just listen to their

  297. mouth. Observe them. If it's the Super Bowl, observe them. Do

  298. Christians act like that? I mean literally, I've seen people go The only

  299. way I can describe it is temporary insanity. I mean jump up and down,

  300. yell and scream, and I'm just setting they're observing them like this is

  301. clearly psychotic behavior. If you wish to do that in a church, or

  302. you was to do that in a classroom, they would call the police on

  303. you. The Leonard. Yeah, so under the right circumstances, they can't

  304. contain themselves. But know this, those people have crept in unnoticed, and

  305. they are everywhere. Well it says that right here they've turned the grace of

  306. our God into sensiousness. Yes, that's right. The kJ TH says,

  307. uh lasciviousness. It's the same thing. It's just two different forms of the

  308. same word. It means sensuously. You're living according to your senses. That's

  309. what the word means. But to us in English, if you use that

  310. word, you know, sensuality, you're naturally thinking sex. But no,

  311. no, ladies and gentlemen, no, these look an alcoholic is the same

  312. thing they love being drunk, right, Leonard, Right, there's It's exactly

  313. what you said. Their senses, you know, psite, taste, to

  314. sound, smell, That's right. That's what they live for, and that's

  315. all they live for. That's what this Greek word means. They live according

  316. to their five senses. Whatever pleases them, whatever is pleasurable to them,

  317. that is what they live for. They do not live for the Lord Jesus

  318. Christ through the Holy Spirit, and they have no intention of doing so,

  319. right, because it's you know, it says right here, and deny our

  320. only master in Lord Jesus Christ, because Jesus isn't master and lord over their

  321. life. That's right. But yet they're calling themselves Christians. Right, Yeah,

  322. But you know Jude is also telling us in verse three, it's is

  323. beloved. While I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation,

  324. I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you contend earnestly for

  325. the faith which was once, which was once for all had it down to

  326. the Holy Ones or the saints. It's telling us to contend for our faith,

  327. to contend earnestly, that's right. That means we have to call them

  328. out. Well, that's probably shocked to some people's system, isn't it.

  329. But and this is what doesn't happen in the church. No, no,

  330. it doesn't happen, especially because of the big time donors, right. I

  331. mean, if you've got somebody that he's paying the church five thousand dollars a

  332. month in tithe, there ain't no way they're going to say anything to it

  333. or her. I mean, this is so blatantly obviously. I've had to

  334. deal with this so many times, it's not even funny. Would you like

  335. to hear one of the tales that I was personally involved with at my church?

  336. God for it. This is going to blow you away. We had

  337. a doctorate that was a professor at the local university. You know, I

  338. might as well give the full details. It's at Purdue University. He is

  339. right now a doctorate of math at the University of Prue. He was going

  340. to our church. Well, he was caught with one of the teenage girls

  341. in the choir. Let me say that again. Yes, she was a

  342. miner. This is what happened, ladies and gentlemen. His wife was kicked

  343. out of the church and they had a restraining order against the only innocent person

  344. in the situation. The only innocent person was his wife. Now no one

  345. understands this in your heart. Nothing was done to him, nothing was even

  346. said to him, and they continued on after charges should have been filed because

  347. that was a miner. And he still goes to and by the way,

  348. the person, the minor child that he was having. Let me make sure

  349. you understand what I'm saying, ladies and gentlemen. He was caught inside the

  350. church having sex with a miner while he was married. It was his wife

  351. that was excommunicated from the church and restraining order put against her. This is

  352. how we rolled, This is how the modern clergy operates. So what was

  353. the reasoning behind excommunicating the wife. Well, she's not the one that was

  354. paying the big tithe every month. Let me say that again. The church

  355. was operating off of his paycheck, not hers. She didn't have a job

  356. I can literally take you to their house right now if I was back in

  357. Lafaette, Indiana. Oh you think this is the only thing. Oh,

  358. there's more horrible things than that. Lard. I know a deacon and he's

  359. a Sunday school superintendent in a church in Lafayette. By the Old Testament law,

  360. he has committed an abomination once again. The only innocent party was excommunicated

  361. from the church and restraining order put against them. He was caught in what

  362. the Old Testament calls an abomination. And oh yes, oh yes, his

  363. construction company, that's right, Leonard. His construction company is a huge portion

  364. of the money that comes into that church. So he's still so gentlemen,

  365. you need to understand just these first four verses. You need to listen and

  366. when this type of thing happens and you, if you fear God, you

  367. need to flee that church. I mean, it is blatantly obvious that on

  368. the Great Day of the Lord. Just two chapters, just Jeremiah chapter twenty

  369. three and Jeremia chapter twenty five. Both of them state that God's intention is

  370. to butcher the shepherds because they've done this to his church. The Book of

  371. Jude is a warning to that very church that, by the way, when

  372. God gets here, that's who he's going to take care of. And he

  373. comes right out and says it multiple times. So I don't know, ladies,

  374. and didn't one if you've listened to the last two episodes from jose and

  375. I, but it is both both episodes are about the slaughter of the shepherds,

  376. because I'm just telling you what God says he's going to do and he

  377. gets here, and you want to make sure you're clear of it, and

  378. if that means changing denominations, you need to do it. But if these

  379. people and like I said, the Greek was very plain here, if these

  380. people that would have that did worship Nebukanezer's image and will take the mark of

  381. the beast, if they're running your church, I'm sorry, you need to

  382. leave it, and you need to leave it now. Please at least read

  383. Jeremiah twenty three and twenty five and pay very close attention to what God says

  384. he's going to do to the shepherds because most of them, and like I

  385. said, on more than one occasion, I have cornered them in their own

  386. churches, in their own offices and got them to admit they weren't even Christians.

  387. This is their job, this is how they get a salary. You

  388. know. It reminds me when I was younger, I went to a juvenile

  389. camp because I was you know, I was being just a knucklehead. And

  390. they had this this program, the state of California was doing troubled youth,

  391. and so they picked you know, I think it was like five or eight

  392. of kids out of this camp that I was at, and I was one

  393. of them, and they put us in a room. They had us laid

  394. down and they played these tapes for us. They turned off the lights,

  395. and the tapes were a guy named Tony Robbins, and the tapes were called

  396. personal Power, right, So he was just talking about how you know,

  397. the powers within you, personal power to change things, so on and so

  398. forth. And as I became an adult and I got saved, I remember

  399. I went to this big box church and when I heard the preacher preaching,

  400. it just reminded me of Tony Robbins, and I thought to myself, I

  401. said, Wow, if Tony Robbins were to stop saying personal power and say

  402. the power of God, he would have a megachurch. But the problem with

  403. that is that Tony Robbins isn't filled with the spirit of God, but his

  404. teachings that he had sounded just like this pastor just like him. You know,

  405. Tony Robbins is a charismatic speaker, you know, but he's not filled

  406. with the Holy Spirit. But if he were to change his wording instead of

  407. saying personal power to the power of God, he would have a megachurch.

  408. But this is a man that you know, he's a cloud without water.

  409. So I just thought that was interesting what you were on the same part of

  410. what you were saying. How I'm just thinking a lot of these people have

  411. degrees in psychology. That's right, they do, but that doesn't make him

  412. a Christian and they know that, and they are literally intentionally decimating God's flock,

  413. you know, Matthew, this is the reason why the Lord two thousand

  414. and six teen had sent me to go to all these churches. I went

  415. to all these churches. I went to about forty churches, you know,

  416. in the area where I was living. And Lord had put in my heart

  417. to bring him for a night of prayer. Because this old church that I

  418. used to go to call the Lord's Church, I just had to happen to

  419. drive by, and I'd seen this magic store, but it was magic with

  420. the case, so I knew how to do with their cult, I mean.

  421. And so I went inside and had all these herbs and they're burning incense.

  422. And I asked the guy there, I said, a lot of people

  423. come in here and buy this. And he's like, oh yeah, you

  424. know, you'd be surprised. A lot of people come in here. And

  425. he's like, if you're interested, my mom she teaches on all this stuff,

  426. like had cast spells and all that. I said, really, and

  427. he's like, yeah, we have rooms back there. I said, do

  428. a lot of people come? He said, oh, man, there's a

  429. lot of people that come. So I said, all interesting. And then

  430. when I walked out, I seen that old church that I went to and

  431. I was, you know, a child it was brotten directly across the street

  432. from it, and when I looked to the left, there was another Calvary

  433. chapel right there, and I looked to the right there was a Korean and

  434. there was a Chinese Churchill on this block there were four churches. And on

  435. one block there were four churches. One was a Pentecostal church, the other

  436. was, you know, like I said, a Calvary chapel, The other

  437. was a Korean and the other one was a Chinese church on one block.

  438. And this practical Magic Cup place was that's what it was called. Practical Magica

  439. was right in the center of it, thriving. And that's when the Lord

  440. had put in my heart together all these churches for a night of prayer.

  441. And that's what I did. And my message though for that night, when

  442. when the pastors came, was what are you teaching your flock? What is

  443. it? Because if if you guys are filled with the spirit, you should

  444. you know, this city should be getting turned over because you know, in

  445. these just a few square mile radius, you know, there's forty churches.

  446. I mean that's oversaturated. So this little area should be you should be walking

  447. on holy ground when you walk through here, right, yeah, you know,

  448. but you're not. That Calvary Chapel was connected to a massage parlor in

  449. the same building, in the same building, and you know, some pastors

  450. got up, were mad, got up and walked out when I was telling

  451. them that. When they came, I said, what are you teaching your

  452. flock? Because you're going to be held responsible. I was telling them,

  453. you're you're the pastors. What are you teaching them? You know? And

  454. that was my message is it's it comes from you, It comes down from

  455. you to them. But yeah, that was in twenty sixteen. The Lord

  456. had me do that. Did you have any of them that was receptive to

  457. it? Yeah? Let me see into about four of them matter? Maybe?

  458. Yeah, four of them I would say like ten percent. Four of

  459. them matters at forty that's what I was going to say, ten percent.

  460. Yeah. And were they all the same type of church, that is to

  461. say, the same denomination. No, No, I went to a bunch

  462. of different denominations. So, you know, Leonard, we really do need

  463. to talk about this. It amazes me how people think there's two hundred and

  464. fifty different types of churches, when no, there's not. The Book of

  465. Revelation is very plain, very clear. There's seven different types of churches.

  466. Let me say that again, ladies and them, just so you know,

  467. the Bible, God's Holy Word, God comes it. Now. Now remember

  468. please appreciate this. This is what happened. The Lord Jesus Christ gave the

  469. vision to his angel, and the Angel come to Patmos and projected that message

  470. into John's brain. That's what happened. So literally, the Lord Jesus Christ

  471. himself stated, there's only seven different types of churches. It's the Manora.

  472. That's right, it's the Manora. It it is absolutely the Manora. And

  473. you're one of those different types of churches. Now, the problem is is

  474. that the motive majority of those churches didn't actually have Jesus seeing Kunbayaf to him

  475. needs to read Revelations chapters two and three again, because he wasn't too happy

  476. with the majority of the churches. And you want to know why this very

  477. reason, because Jude is emphatic. You need to contend for what is right

  478. where you're at. It is very plain to the text. You want to

  479. be from Smyrna or Philadelphia. I wonder how many people can put that question

  480. into context, Leonard, let's be honest with each other. How many's Well,

  481. let's just pick on the four pastors. These four pastors, do you

  482. think they were familiar enough with the seven churches in Revelation to answer your question?

  483. No? Why, Leonard? Why? I don't think they study enough.

  484. That's amazing to me, because that's all I do. I mean,

  485. I have a full time job and yet you can ask my wife and she'll

  486. tell you. What Matthew does is study God's Word. That's what I do.

  487. If I'm not physically working at work, if I'm not doing dishes at

  488. home or cooking hard, ask my wife. She'll tell you. I'm so.

  489. That's what I was telling the pastor today. I was saying the problem

  490. with you know, Western society, you know, like churches, they don't

  491. study the Word. They don't, you know, either they want to be

  492. super hyper spiritual and praying tongues and dance around and you know, all that,

  493. which is fine, but the word, you know, they're not in

  494. love with God's Word. You know, I've for me, I noticed the

  495. more that I begin to dig in God's Word, the more that it became

  496. living to me, it's the living Word. It became living, and it's

  497. just amazing. It grew, it grows, not grew, it's continually growing

  498. my faith the more that I read It's so it's truly feeding me, you

  499. know, it's truly feeding me, truly being fed from it. And that's

  500. something that the churches, you know, and on this side of the pond

  501. and any other they lack, is a love for God's word to you know,

  502. to dig through it and like it's hid treasures. Well, because psychologically

  503. they've been ravaged at the base level. Well, I kind of I can

  504. explain this to you. But you know, if you go into if you

  505. go into seminary, let's just talk about the book we're reading. They're not

  506. going to teach you that God wrote this. They're not going to teach you

  507. that the Bible is inspired. They're gonna teach you that Jude wrote it.

  508. And after two or three semesters there have you questioned it even that they'll even

  509. tell you that, no, Jude really didn't write it. Obviously, somebody

  510. else wrote it that was trying to gain credibility by saying he was James's brother.

  511. So psychologically they're torn to pieces. They get into their subconscious before they

  512. ever have a chance to do anything about it. And I know because I've

  513. been to a Christian institution of fire learning and set through it. And I'm

  514. gonna be perfectly honest with you. You can ask my son as he graduated

  515. from a Christian institution just last semester. I mean, it is, it's

  516. tragic. This is why the Great Day of the Orders is going to happen.

  517. That's why, you know, I want to say one thing. I

  518. was talking to my cousin, you know, this week, the Lord put

  519. in my heart to call him. He had lost his wife in December and

  520. of cancer. She was forty five. And I was calling him and I

  521. was like, hey, cousin, I'm just calling to see how you're doing.

  522. Man, I haven't heard from you. And you know, sister was

  523. telling me she they were having a Bible study. He never answered or anything.

  524. So I just felt to call him and I was asking what's going on.

  525. He was just you know, gotten through like the you know, the

  526. surface stuff real quick, and then I just basically got to the meat of

  527. what I was calling for. I'm like, are you you know, are

  528. you in your word? Are you going to church? What's going on?

  529. Taking those girls to church? And he's like, you know what, Lenny,

  530. I just haven't. I just don't have a desire right now too.

  531. He said, it's just not in me, you know. And I said,

  532. well, why, he's all you know, I He's all you know.

  533. My wife was dying. I prayed and I prayed and I prayed,

  534. and I just knew that God would heal her. I just knew God would

  535. do this. I knew it. I knew it, you know, I

  536. just knew that he would. And then he goes to the point of the

  537. day that she died. I knew that she would be healed, and she

  538. wasn't. He's all, I can't understand how. You know, everything is

  539. always said that everything happens according to God's will and all good things will work

  540. out according to well, He's all, what good is going to work out

  541. of this? She she died, and I have four daughters that are without

  542. a mother, and my wife left me. What good? I cannot see

  543. where there could be good out of this? Just can't what good can possibly

  544. happen from my wife dying? Because I just can't see it, He's all.

  545. And he was like saying, because you know, I was talking to

  546. your mom, my mom, and she's like, my mom was telling him,

  547. fulfill you know, I think that you're just mad at God. And

  548. he was telling me maybe I am. Maybe I am maybe because I but

  549. I pray every morning I get up, I still pray, you know,

  550. He's all. You know, when we go to church, it's always talking

  551. about how God heals and how God wants you to you know, the best

  552. things for your life. And and I had to tell him, I said,

  553. Philip, I said, I went to those churches with you too,

  554. And that's a lie because the Bible doesn't speak of that. It doesn't.

  555. I said. You look at every prophet, you look at every king,

  556. look at everybody in the Bible that God had his hand upon every single person.

  557. Every single one had drama to the day they died. Every single one.

  558. Every single one had issues to the day they died. It's just that's

  559. just it. I go in the churches that we've attended, they preached this

  560. false hope that if you have Christ, your life is going to be perfect

  561. and Jesus is going to heal everybody, right, I said, most of

  562. the time, healing is just for a non believer, you know, just

  563. for them to see that you know the power of God. But I go,

  564. what you need is faith, I said. I said, a lot

  565. of the times when we go to church, they talk about all this stuff

  566. that's just not reality. Man, God doesn't God promises us, you know,

  567. you know, he gives us mercy and peace, right, he gives

  568. us grace, I said, mercy, you know, it's just God has

  569. compassion on us. He gives us peace, which is quietness, right,

  570. calmness. It doesn't mean that we're going to have all the riches and we're

  571. going to just have health and wealth. That's not what it means. Man,

  572. I said, let me tell you something. I go, I remember

  573. when your wife was dying, she didn't know the Lord, and she got

  574. to give her life to Christ. And you said in your own map,

  575. I said, out of your own confession, you said it was a miracle

  576. how she began to read and begin to really have a relationship with Christ.

  577. I said, you remember when the doctor said that she has three weeks to

  578. live and you were just praying. She was praying, and you're believing for

  579. a miracle. What happened? She lived for another three years. I said,

  580. out of your mouth, you confess that that was a miracle from God.

  581. I said, God allowed her from the day that she was supposed to

  582. die, because she was going to die again after the three years, and

  583. the Lord let her live another two. And I told him God had grace,

  584. he had compassion. I go, when it's all said and done,

  585. Cousin, what really matters is where we go when we die. This earth

  586. is in our inheritance. We're not going to inherit this here, this corruptness.

  587. There's going to be a new heaven and new earth where you know,

  588. God is going to make everything new. The earth is corrupt, I said.

  589. When Jesus was on the earth, he says, my kingdom is not

  590. of this what I told him, he's all world. I said, right,

  591. the Kingdom's not of this world. It's not of this world. I

  592. said. When when Jesus would come and heal, people said, the Kingdom

  593. of God has come upon you. Why, because Christ is the kingdom.

  594. Christ has come upon them. That's what it means. I said. I

  595. said, so so, cousin, you know God has been there and he

  596. was able to save your wife. He died going to the presence of the

  597. Lord she is. That's where she's going. You can have that a surety.

  598. I said, what you need, cousin, I said, you need

  599. faith. You need faith is what you need. I said, do you

  600. know what faith is? He said no. I said. Faith is believing

  601. in something that you can't see, in something that you don't understand. But

  602. you believe that God is faithful even though when you don't understand it, even

  603. though you can't see the good out of it. You know that he is

  604. faithful. I said, Remember Abraham, and he was going to take his

  605. son Isaac. I said, he was the promised son. I go,

  606. I'm just giving you a quick example of what I mean. I just imagine

  607. you're told this is the son of Promise, and out of this son is

  608. going to be a great nation, right, and the world is going to

  609. be blessed. Right, But then you're told to take your son and to

  610. sacrifice him. It doesn't say it in the word, but I'm pretty sure

  611. in Abraham's humanity, he must have been thinking, Wow, man, I

  612. don't understand it, and part of me wants to not, you know,

  613. can't figure it out. But I'm going to believe. I'm going to believe

  614. because my wife, Sarah had a baby pass the time of her having a

  615. period, right, right. So if God said that he is going to

  616. be the son of Promise and they're going to be it's going to happen regardless

  617. of whatever God tells me. To go up there and strike him, That's

  618. what I'm gonna do. But even though I don't understand, even though I

  619. can't comprehend, I still believe that God is faithful. I still believe that

  620. he's going to keep his covenant, his promise. I said, that's what

  621. is That's what faith is, is trusting in God when you don't under If

  622. you understood, it wouldn't take no faith. That's right. So I said,

  623. cousin, I said, what you need is to pray for more faith.

  624. Pray that God gave you the faith, because it's not about us understanding,

  625. it's about us believing and obeying. Amen. Amen, I'll say that

  626. Amen again. Well, when it comes to God's word, I understand a

  627. whole lot. I mean, I never had a chance tonight to talk about

  628. the Hebrew in this chapter. But boy, you hit the nails squarely on

  629. the head. Ladies and gentlemen, All the understanding I can give you does

  630. not amount to a hill of beans, you know it. It amazes me

  631. that the disciples themselves look Jesus right in the face and said give us faith.

  632. Understanding is not required. Belief is. Understanding at the end of the

  633. day is empty and hollow, but is faith and belief that is HALLO,

  634. all right, Leondard, take us out of here in prayer. Deavenly Father,

  635. we just thank you just for these four verses that we got to get

  636. through today. Lord God, we just thank you for your word just being

  637. so packed with just goodness. Lord, and thank you for loving us Lord

  638. and warning us. Lord. I pray that the listener and Matthew and me,

  639. Lord God, that you give us more faith. Father, Please give

  640. us more faith. Help us, Lord God, help us to help our

  641. faith be strong in you. We just pray, Lord God, as we

  642. go throughout this week, that we will just earnestly contend for the faith.

  643. Earnestly contend for the salvation. Lord God, earnestly contend Lord God, what

  644. was given to us for the common salvation. Lord God, help us to

  645. contend for the faith that we have that we believe. Give us the words

  646. to speak. Lord, help us to teach those that are around us,

  647. to pray for those that are around us. And may you give us,

  648. Lord God, mercy and peace. It may your love be multiplied to all

  649. of us. Lord Lord, we love you, and we thank you Jesus

  650. name, Amen, Amen, and Amen. Till next time, ladies and
