  1. Do you know the Bible is God's Holy Word? Do you know it is

  2. inspired, in errant, and infallible? If so, like, share,

  3. subscribe and support this podcast. So we are Maranatha Ministries and now Reduction Draweth

  4. Nigh. Welcome, Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to the program. We're your

  5. host Jose and Matthew. Tonight we are continuing the study of this well.

  6. In my opinion, it's one of the most important phrases in the Bible,

  7. God's Holy Word. It is Abraham, Isaac and Israel. And every single

  8. time this comes up, literally prophecy is wrapped around it. And what amazes

  9. me is how many times I've been speaking with people about the infamous of how

  10. do I put this time's time and half of time? Now, we know

  11. that the Book of Daniel says that two different ways. It says that once

  12. in Hebrew, then it switches to language and says it a different way.

  13. You know, time's time and the dividing of time. We know the Book

  14. of Revelation. It adds to the mix. It says time's time and a

  15. halftime it says and sixty days, and then it turns around and says forty

  16. two months. But you need to know where that comes from. God didn't

  17. pull this out of a hat. This came from somewhere, and I'm willing

  18. to bet that of you listening to my voice, you have no idea where

  19. it comes from. So I have to make that the backdrop for what Jose

  20. and I was going to share, because immediately when Jose talks about what we're

  21. going to be sharing tonight, your mind will immediately go to to the entertainment

  22. industry, all the entertaining things that this particular prophet did. And there's no

  23. doubt about it that this prophet, boy, this prophet is different. This

  24. story. Many Jewish rabbis don't believe it's real. They thinks it can't be

  25. real. Now I'm telling you the truth. I've talked about this in their

  26. own synagogues. I mean, when I say his name, it's just good

  27. to trigger remembrance serves within you. It's just going to trigger you. So

  28. I'm not going to say the name. I'm going to pass it over to

  29. Jose and then let him talk about it. But before you you listen to

  30. this, no one understand time's time and a halftime comes from this event.

  31. And if you don't realize that God is expecting you to realize to build an

  32. entire end time timeline around these events. You are extremely shortsighted. And that

  33. is to say you've never learned the polysemic proper interpretation of scripture. You've never

  34. even heard of that, have you? But I'm telling you that's what's required

  35. in order to see with your eyes and hear with your ears. That's what's

  36. required. So Jose bring us up to speed wire. Were talking about this

  37. phrase, Abraham, Isaac and Israel. Tonight? What chapter are we going

  38. to? Well, we're going to one Kings eighteen as the next time this

  39. phrase appears in the Bible. And I've been re listening to our Social Name

  40. series, Matthew, And of course, even though we've already did those broadcasts,

  41. it still blows me away when I go back and listen to them.

  42. But social nime, we know, means those who will be changed. Right,

  43. especially in the Greek, it tells us that, yes, and and

  44. you've repeated over and over the meaning of Israel is those who in God straightens.

  45. Heymen, So when you see that the normal phrase that we usually see

  46. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, when God changes that to Israel. It should

  47. we already know all God's word is prophetic, but we need to like sit

  48. up and rub the rub the sleep out of our eyes. Right, splash

  49. some water in your face, because because you know that when you see that

  50. the way that that Phrasin has put there Abraham, Isaac and Israel, that

  51. God's given us another. He's He's given us a big bright alarm bell saying

  52. wake up. I'm talking about prophecy here, I'm talking about the coming Israel.

  53. I'm talking about my people, right, Matthew. And so as Christians,

  54. we understand we've been told in the New Testament in Romans that like you've

  55. you've repeated the last I don't know how many episodes you've you've repeated yourself,

  56. Matthew, we have been grafted in and as Christians we are Israel. And

  57. so this is for us, and especially in this chapter, Matthew, like

  58. you said, the three years and six months that mentioned that's indicated here in

  59. this chapter points us to not only Revelation eleven in the time of the two

  60. witnesses, but also points us to Revelation twelve and the time when the woman

  61. is taking to the wilderness. Amen so again, if you're the ecclesia,

  62. you are the woman and you're trying to prepare yourself to become the bride.

  63. So everything that's that's God telling us about here, whether or not anybody believes

  64. it's true, God is telling us what is to come. He is always

  65. telling us what is to come. I know it seems kind of like,

  66. why do I keep repeating myself? But this is not just a toy.

  67. This is a story. This is not just a tale that God's put in

  68. here to add excitement to his Bible. He's given us prophecy here. He's

  69. telling us what is to come, and so we need to figure this out.

  70. Matthew, Well, you know, let's read from the book or from

  71. Wikipedia for a minute. Concerning this prophet. God also performed many miracles through

  72. him, including resurrection, bringing fire down from the sky, and entering Heaven

  73. alive by fire. If you need a hint, you ain't got a clue.

  74. This is why many of the rabbis believe that this really isn't true.

  75. They think it's really really just a parable. But take note, Oh my

  76. goodness, these chapters are loaded. They're absolutely loaded. But ladies and gentlemen,

  77. if you didn't know. This is where the three and a half years

  78. comes from. I don't even know what to tell you, because you're obviously

  79. unfamiliar with the Bible, God's Holy Word. And I'm saying that very forthrightly,

  80. because I'm just going to read four verses. This tale begins in the

  81. prior chapter, First Kings, Chapter seventeen, verse one. It says,

  82. now, Elijah the tishup Bite, who was the settlers a milliad, said

  83. that Ahab As the Lord, the God of Israel, lives before whom I

  84. stand. Surely there shall neither be due nor reign these years except by my

  85. word. Now let's skip one chapter exactly one chapter, chapter eighteen. This

  86. first verse says this, Now, it happened after many days that the word

  87. of the Lord came to Elijah in the third year, saying, go show

  88. yourself to Ahab, and I will send rain on the face of the earth.

  89. So to write here you would be hesitant if you didn't know the biblical

  90. HEREDI Luke chapter four, verse twenty five. But I say to you in

  91. truth, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when

  92. the sky was shut up for three years and six months when a great family

  93. came came over all the land. Now, if you don't like the Gospels,

  94. let's go to the Book of James, Chapter five, verse seventeen.

  95. Elijah was a man with a stature like ours. He prayed earnestly that would

  96. not reign, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and

  97. six months. So if you can't see plainly that God was beaten around a

  98. bush with first King seventeen and eighteen. He didn't want you to know the

  99. exact dates, but he sure fire made sure that information was relayed to the

  100. Lord Jesus Christ. It was three and a half years. Oh, yes

  101. it was. It was three years six months. You should immediately know.

  102. Well, that's why God told the angels to manipulate their message in such a

  103. way that Daniel would get that. You have to structure this around the prophetic

  104. of instant already happened that I instigated with my servant Elijah. So the angel

  105. that was hovering over the waters relate to Daniel the information based off a three

  106. and a half year sequence. Yes, he did rate it this time.

  107. You might want to try believing it when you do, because it did come

  108. from these events in these chapters. I mean, this is the whole reason

  109. why he goes to the widow, This is the whole reason why the widow

  110. son dies. And I can go on and on and on and on and

  111. on, because if you don't know that Revelation chapter twelve is built around these

  112. events, you're so shortsighted that I'm going to be speaking Greek to you.

  113. You're so unfamiliar with the Bible, God's Holy Word that I really can't relay

  114. the information to you. It would sound like a cipher or or a foreign

  115. language. So you need to write these down. Okay, write these verses

  116. down first, King seventeen one one, Kings eighteen one, Luke four,

  117. and James five seventeen. You need to memorize those and understand those before you

  118. ever go to Daniel, and before you ever go to the Book of Revelation.

  119. Is if you do, you're just going to confuse yourself because God is

  120. going to be referencing things that you know nothing about. Ose. Yeah,

  121. I'm Matthew, It's I just don't it. Sometimes it's it's people just don't

  122. believe what's actually said in their Bible, and they they I don't know if

  123. they just look at it. You've got the scholars, Matthew that get in

  124. here and and they just start trying to piece this apart and trying to,

  125. you know, say, well this is more likely than that, and you

  126. know we have you know, they just they just they don't believe it.

  127. I guess that's what I'm gonna say. They don't believe it. Okay,

  128. So when you when you when God tells us in the New Testament the timeframe

  129. that this took place, we need to believe it. And any Christian worth

  130. their assaut Matthews is going to understand the importance of that time period, what

  131. it means just on the Book of Daniel alone, let alone the other references

  132. that that that are that are in the Bible. But but the Book of

  133. Daniel. I mean that's everyone you know who pretends to study prophecy reads the

  134. Book of Daniel and and tries to come up with their own interpretations of it.

  135. So this this when we're told, we're told by by Uh in the

  136. New Testament that that's that's where this time fame comes from. So I'm just

  137. I'm just kind of looking over looking over words here, Matthew and the Hebrew

  138. trying to fully understand what God's saying here. But yeah, this is this

  139. is a good chapter to cover. If this is a good chapter, you

  140. just well you've said it correctly. Knowing this, it makes you very hesitant.

  141. You realize that, no matter what you're going to glean from this in

  142. the next you know, forty eight than minutes, you're not going to have

  143. enough time. Right, You're not going to be able to say everything that's

  144. here, Jose. You're not going to be able to do because the Lord

  145. is with you. And when the Lord is with you, oh, you

  146. don't have to worry about content, Okay, you really, the only thing

  147. you need to worry about is time. I've got sixty minutes to do this.

  148. So what is it that God wants me to share out of all this

  149. data that I know? And the way that can be related should via the

  150. Holy Spirit? Jose. So believe me, every time I get up in

  151. front of people, every time I push start for us to record, I'm

  152. nervous because I fear God. Let me say that again so you understand what

  153. I'm saying. Ladies, din'm if you didn't know that the fear of the

  154. Lord is the beginning of wisdom. I don't know how, Jose, and

  155. I can help you if you don't know that, But I'm here to tell

  156. you I'm literally shaking in my boots before I go up in front of the

  157. congregation, before I get up in front of the classroom, before I do

  158. these episodes, I fear God. So let's get to the text, Jose.

  159. We obviously should read this, but how much should we read? That's

  160. the question? Right, This is forty six versus just this chapter when really

  161. we need to read all of seventeen two to get the entire contact. But

  162. what's your thoughts? Well, for sure, we have to cover the second

  163. half, but I mean, how could do that without the first half?

  164. Matthew? Right, Because if you do that, if you skip the first

  165. half, you skipped Obadiah yep, yep. So maybe we can just roughly

  166. talk about that. What do you make of this intermediary that works between Elijah

  167. and a What do you make what on earth do you make of him?

  168. Well, Matthew, he's he's a servant of a have But it says that

  169. he loves the Lord, he fears God. Right, that that's what it

  170. says. And when you when you read, when you read try to read

  171. a little bit of history on him. It indicates that he's the prophet that

  172. wrote the Book of Obadiah, and we know the prophetic importance of that book

  173. and what it says. It also tells us that he hid a hundred prophets

  174. when Jezebel was going around killing the prophets of God, that he himself hid

  175. a hundred prophets and fed them two separate groups of fifty. He freed them

  176. bread and water, and Matthew, I couldn't find anything to confirm it,

  177. but I have a feeling that those two different groups of prophets, you had

  178. one at least one group that were very young and I would I would say,

  179. I would say children. And again I have not found any biblical evidence

  180. for that, but that's just my feeling. The fact that he separated them

  181. into two groups, the fact that he tells us about the most Shaim he

  182. knew a little bit more about what was going on, and him witnessing what

  183. Elijah did here, Matthew, I think went a long way to putting that

  184. spirit of prophecy in him and God using him to spread more prophetic word.

  185. Well, I'm gonna have to jump in here, I'm going to have to

  186. take everybody to Second King's chapter two and verse three. Okay, I quote

  187. and the Sons of the Prophets. Ladies and gentlemen, you did know there

  188. was a group that was called the sons of the Prophets, right, you

  189. didn't know that? Okay? Once again, everybody, you need to get

  190. you something to write with and something to write on, and you need to

  191. do so right now. Second Kings chapter two, verse three, And the

  192. sons of the Prophets that were at Bethel came forth to Elisha and said,

  193. unto him, knowest thou that the Lord will take away thy master from the

  194. head today? And he said, yes, I know it. Hold your

  195. peace. Okay, okay, back up, back up, back up,

  196. Just just stop the bus and let me get off. At this point,

  197. why is this this group of prophets, Why are they called the sons of

  198. the Prophets? And how is it that they know that Elijah's going to be

  199. taken to heaven before anybody else does. Okay, So you're supposed to be

  200. familiar with the Bible, God's Holy Word, You're supposed to be familiar with

  201. it. I've read this in the thousands of times. Have I read the

  202. Bible all the way through in the thousands, So if I'm talking about things

  203. you don't understand, And where did these sons of the prophets come from?

  204. Of course it's in the Bible because after Elijah went to heaven, Elisha his

  205. successor. You know, the biblical narrative kind of works out in simple fact

  206. that Elisha took it over as the lead role of the school. Okay,

  207. and the school was called the Sons of the Prophet. Now, come on,

  208. Jose, why on earth hold that you wouldn't name a bunch of old

  209. men the sons of the prophets. No, if you need a hint,

  210. you ain't got a single clue, ladies and gentlemen. Jose is quite correct.

  211. You're supposed to know at least I would hope you would know Revelation chapter

  212. twelve, because Jose and I over the past thirteen years have read it to

  213. you. Jose, what would you say? Would you say? Ten?

  214. Twenty fifty one hundred? No? Yeah, times ten to multiply that by

  215. one hundred, Matthew, Okay, you're supposed to know this. There's two

  216. groups in that chapter, and there are probably two groups of fifty because they're

  217. both numbered. Let me say that again. Yes, ladies and gentlemen,

  218. both group is numbered. One is the male child and the other is.

  219. In the last verse, it says the rest of her children. So have

  220. we even got started yet? Oh my goodness, we haven't even read the

  221. text. Well, just to add Matthew, I mean, obviously I didn't

  222. have that reference to the sons of the prophets, but I just knew they

  223. had to be there because of everything else we've been reading, because of how

  224. many times God's repeated himself, and because of who Obadiah is, you know,

  225. and and so I expected that there, and so the fact that you

  226. were able to provide confirmation, that's a blessing to me. Thank you.

  227. Well. As always, Jose, I've got to be good for something,

  228. ay man, else I'm good for nothing. So I think how much time

  229. we wow? All twenty minutes past past the hour, So we need to

  230. just start reading the second part. Yeah, we really don't have time to

  231. read the first part. So what are you gonna pick it up? In?

  232. What? Verse twenty? Maybe? Yeah, I can do verse twenty.

  233. Maybe I'll hit three stanzas there and see what we can cover. All

  234. right. So I'm reading out of nasb nineteen ninety five one Kings, chapter

  235. eighteen, and I'm picking up in verse twenty. So Ahab sent a message

  236. among all the sons of Israel and brought the prophets together at Mount Carmel.

  237. Elijah came near to all the people and said, how long will you hesitate

  238. between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him, but if

  239. Ball follow him. But the people did not answer him a word. Then

  240. Elijah said to the people, I alone am left a prophet of the Lord.

  241. But Ball's prophets are four hundred and fifty men. Now let them give

  242. us two oxen, and let them choose one ox for themselves, and cut

  243. it up and place it on the wood, but put no fire under it.

  244. And I will prepare the other ox and lay it on the wood,

  245. and I will not put a fire under it. Then you call on the

  246. name of your God, and I will call on the name of the Lord.

  247. And the God who answers by fire, he is God. And all

  248. the people said, that is a good idea. So Elijah said to the

  249. prophets of Baal, choose one ox for yourselves, and prepare it first for

  250. you are many, and call on the name of your God, but put

  251. no fire under it. Then they took the ox which was given them,

  252. and they prepared it and called on the name of Baal from morning until noon,

  253. saying, oh, ball answer us. But there was no voice and

  254. no one answered, and they leaped about the altar which they made. It

  255. came about at noon that Elijah mocked them and said, call out with a

  256. loud voice, for he is a god. Either he is occupied or gone

  257. aside, or is on a journey, or perhaps he is asleep and needs

  258. to be awakened. So they cried with a loud voice, and cut themselves

  259. according to their custom, with swords and lances, until the blood gushed out

  260. on them. When mid day was passed, they raved until the time of

  261. the offering of the evening sacrifice, but there was no voice, no one

  262. answered, and no one paid attention. Then Elijah said, do all the

  263. people come near to me. So all the people came near to him,

  264. and he repaired the altar of the Lord which had been torn down. Elijah

  265. took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of

  266. Jacob, to whom the word the Lord had come saying, Israel shall be

  267. your name. So with the stones he built an altar in the name of

  268. the Lord. And he made a trench around the altar, large enough to

  269. hold two measures of seed. Then he arranged the wood and cut the ox

  270. in pieces and laid it on the wood. And he said, fill four

  271. pigers with water and pour it on the burnt offering and on the wood.

  272. And he said do it a second time. And they did it a second

  273. time. And he said do it a third time, and they did it

  274. a third time. The water flowed around, the water water around the altar,

  275. and he also filled the trench with water. Wow, that's a mouthful.

  276. Yes, why this repetitive action you think? I'm not sure, Matthew.

  277. One thing's for sure. It sticks out, doesn't it. Yes,

  278. it it truly sticks out, and it it you know. Let me just

  279. give some some some things to get us thinking the right way. Have you

  280. ever tried taking seen south? There's four hundred and fifty profits of bell here.

  281. Have you ever tried taking that into a and forty four thousand for fifty?

  282. Yeah? Yeah, it was just for fifty. I get three twenty,

  283. Matthew, just a nice even number three twenty h that's pretty amazing,

  284. right, right, So that should get people's attention when I just say that,

  285. and I've already mentioned that these well you did. I didn't say that

  286. you did that. There were two groups of fifty that he put in separate

  287. caves. Amen. So let's talk about this this phraseology that he uses in

  288. the beginning. He says, he puts it very particular that you call on

  289. your God, and I will call on the name of the Lord and the

  290. God el who answers by fire, he is God. So did you pick

  291. up on that? That that the way this is praised in Hebrew is very

  292. magical. He's making sure that they know that that you call on your God,

  293. whoever that might be. But I'm calling on the Lord right right.

  294. And that's the tetragrammaton right there, Matthew, that's the tetragrammacrat that's YHVH right

  295. thing. Yes, So, and he says whoever answers, he is l

  296. he is God. So very delicate. How he puts this to them.

  297. Why do you think they agreed to do this so readily? I mean they

  298. jumped right on the bandwagon, right, yes, they did. This is

  299. a good idea. This is a good idea. Now, wouldn't that make

  300. you think they had seen this before? Amen? Yeah, and it certainly

  301. does bring to mind the magicians of Pharaoh, right right? And I mean,

  302. are we told that that's the false prophet has also given those powers?

  303. Matthew, that's right. You are exactly correct, And that's where I really

  304. wanted to go. Most people don't realize that this plainly stands out and makes

  305. the simple fact that the case must be that these prophets had seen this happen

  306. before. So we're not dealing with well, let's talk about that word false

  307. prophet, okay, hose, Okay. We all know people who that purport

  308. to be able to do matter, right, Yes, and you would call

  309. those false or fake magicians, right, yes, No, this text is

  310. reading as if these prophets of Bail were real magicians, and he fully expected

  311. Bail to answer by fire, and as a mitter of fact, they thought

  312. that Elijah was going to make himself look like a fool. I wonder how

  313. many people had realized that simple fact before. Now, what's what's your thoughts

  314. on this? What I'm what I'm what came to mind, Matthew. If

  315. we see these prophets about sacrificing. Well, I'm sorry, they're they're performing

  316. magic right for all intents and purposes there, they are performing these sign and

  317. wonders. I'd i'd have to I'd have to say that what accompanied this was

  318. was child sacrifice, and it's going to be those sons of the prophets,

  319. Matthew, that that partook in a lot of the sacrificing. Yeah, it

  320. tells us that Jezebel was killing the prophets of the Lord. But I mean,

  321. I don't see I don't see why they wouldn't sacrifice the sons of the

  322. prophets to to their god. Bah Matthew. Well, jose we just talked

  323. about this the other day. Has it left your mind so quickly? Who

  324. was a has trying to kill? Yeah? His sons Immanual. He was

  325. trying to Immanuel. Now, this has happened many times before, when I'll

  326. say something and then two or three episodes later, I'll talk it about it

  327. again and I'll get a response from it. These people were shell shocked.

  328. I had shocked their psyche in such a way that they just they had forgotten

  329. that I just talked about it three or four episodes before. So if I

  330. just rattled your cage, you need to go back and listen to that show

  331. again, ladies and gentlemen, because the text is very plain. It's very

  332. clear that A has kept sacrificing his sons. When Isiah told him that the

  333. Lord was going to forcibly give him a sign, the Lord was going to

  334. forcibly give him a child, and that child's name was to be given the

  335. name Emmanuel. And A has was sacrificing those babies. So if you weren't

  336. putting two and two together, this is why the two groups had to be

  337. separated. Oh you didn't catch that, did you, Ladies and gentlemen.

  338. Look, if the king caught the older prophets, they would just be murdered

  339. outright. But if he caught the sons of the prophet, those would be

  340. sacrificed. They wouldn't be murdered, they'd be sacrificed. So Obadiah said,

  341. man, I got to separate them. I got a fifty to fifty chance

  342. that if somebody does get caught, it won't be the children. But if

  343. I put them all together and they get caught, the older men will be

  344. spared. They'll be killed. Quickly, but the children will be sacrificed.

  345. It's and you're supposed to know about this group. The sons of the Prophet

  346. is the entire backdrop for this. And the only way you can know that

  347. is to write the Bible, God's Holy Word on your heart cover to cover.

  348. That's the only way to do it. I instinctively know these things.

  349. I instinctively know what to look for because I've I've so familiarized myself with the

  350. text. I can't ignore it. I literally can't ignore it. So you

  351. know, you look at this text and you're like, WHOA. So they're

  352. dancing around, they're crying out with wild voices. They started cutting themselves,

  353. ladies and gentlemen. Ladies and gentlemen. If you haven't read the historical accounts

  354. of child sacrifice all over this planet, you have no idea what you're looking

  355. at here. This is exactly the things you would do before you sacrificed the

  356. child Tojse So, Matthew, I jumped over to Second King seventeen and it's

  357. talking about Israel, and it says here in verse sixteen, they abandoned all

  358. the commandments of the Lord their God, and made for themselves metal images of

  359. two calves, and they made an astra and worshiped all the hosts of heaven

  360. and served ball, and they burned their sons and daughters as offerings, and

  361. used divination and omens, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of

  362. the Lord, provoking him to anger. That's exactly what they were doing,

  363. Matthew, Yes, I know. Whose it's just everybody else that doesn't know.

  364. And if they don't know, even if they'd read this text before,

  365. they had it completely out of context. They had no idea what it was

  366. saying, did they Nope? So was that in mind? We better push

  367. on, all right? So, picking up in verse thirty six, at

  368. the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, Elijah the prophet came near

  369. and said, Oh Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel.

  370. Today let it be known that you are God in Israel, and that I

  371. am your servant, and I have done all these things that your word.

  372. Answer me, Oh Lord, answer me, that this people may know that

  373. you, o Lord, are God, and that you have turned their heart

  374. back again. Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt offering,

  375. and the wood and the stones, and the dust and licked up the

  376. water that was in the trench. When all the people saw it, they

  377. fell on their faces, and they said, the Lord he is God,

  378. The Lord he is God. Then Elijah said to them, seize the prophets

  379. of do not let one of them escape. So they seize them, and

  380. Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon and slew them there. Now Elijah

  381. said to Ahab, go up, eat and drink, for there is the

  382. sound of the roar of a heavy shower. So Ahab went up to eat

  383. and drink. But Elijah went up to the top of Carmel, and he

  384. crouched down on the earth and put his face between his knees. He said

  385. to his servant, go up, now, look toward the sea. So

  386. he went up and looked, and said there is nothing. And he said

  387. go back seven times. And it came about at that seven times that he

  388. said, behold, a cloud as small as a man's hand is coming up

  389. from the sea. And he said go up. Say to Ahab, prepare

  390. your chariot and go down, so that the heavy shower does not stop you.

  391. In a little while, the sky grew black with clouds and wind,

  392. and there was heavy shower, and they have rowed and went to Jezreel.

  393. Then the hand of the Lord was on Elijah, and he girded up his

  394. loins and out around Ahab to Jezreel. Wow, there's a lot there.

  395. So can I ask you a crazy question? Sure? Well, here we

  396. are transported back to Exodus thirty two. So here who is this unnamed servant?

  397. I mean, this poor servant was like, all right, go up

  398. there on the hill and look and tell me what you see. I don't

  399. see nothing, right, Look, he tells his poor servant seven times to

  400. run up. We're runn up there right right? Who is this guy?

  401. I mean, did nobody realize that Elisha was here the whole time? Well,

  402. we had the same thing happened to us up on SINAI right right.

  403. You didn't have to like it. God came out out and told you,

  404. now, who heard the cries of the camp? No? No, no,

  405. no, no, it was not Moses that heard it. It was

  406. Joshua. So here you have this, I mean, this is I mean,

  407. you realize there's no reason for these verses to be here, right right?

  408. I mean Elija had already told a have three years six months before this,

  409. it's not going to rain unless I say, now, when you know

  410. that Elijah knew full wet? Look, how did God burn the rocks up?

  411. Oh? So everybody missed that part? How did everybody miss that part?

  412. Let me go back in and read it. Okay, it says and

  413. I quote, well, maybe I should Greek the KJV, maybe it'll say

  414. something different. Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the bird sacrifice,

  415. and the wood aged the stones and the dust, and licked up the

  416. water that was in the trench. I mean, if you're not catching it,

  417. ladies and gentlemen, that fire was so intense it made magma. I

  418. got another crazy question. So why did Elijah take the prophets of bell somewhere

  419. else to kill them? Jose Verse forty again. Yeah, yeah, I

  420. see. I see that it says seize the prophets of ball did not let

  421. one of them escape, So they seized them, and Eliza brought them down

  422. to the brook Kishon and slew them. There isn't What do you know about

  423. this place Kishon? Do you think that's important to the text. Yeah,

  424. i'd have to say it is. Yeah, I have to say it is

  425. too. But I see it showing up in Judges chapter four and chapter five.

  426. You already searched for it. Yeah, how about Judges chapter five,

  427. Well that's where Muaz is spoken. Ah, yes, verse twenty three.

  428. Now you know about morales, right right, So, ladies and gentlemen,

  429. this is this is Let me read verse well, ose, if you're already

  430. there, why don't you start reading in verse twenty and read down to all

  431. read read twenty three. Okay, the star fought from heaven from the courses,

  432. they fought against Cicera. The torrent of Kishon swept them away, the

  433. ancient torrent, the torrent Kishon. Oh my soul marched on with strength.

  434. Then the horses hoofs beat from the dashing, the dashing of his valiants deeds

  435. curse, Maraz said. The Angel of the Lord utterly cursed its inhabitants because

  436. they did not come to the help of the Lord. To the help of

  437. the Lord against the warriors. Now read the next one four twenty four.

  438. Most blessed of women is Jaiel, the wife of Hebrew, the kenknighte.

  439. Most blessed is she of women in the tent? Won't you clean read the

  440. next verse? He asked for water, and she gave him milk in a

  441. magnificent bowl. She brought him kourds. That's enough, we're hetting too far

  442. off course here, Just so you know this reference here is well, we

  443. have to use polysemic interpretation here because here this river is being likened to the

  444. Milky Way. Amen. So now you're getting to why didn't Elijah take him

  445. there to kill him? One thing's for sure. He wanted to make sure

  446. that nobody thought he was sacrificing them, right, Amen. So this is

  447. just gloaded with prophecy. This is just wow, it's just off the hook

  448. prophecy. Right. What's your thoughts? What's jumping out to you? The

  449. one thing that stood out to me, Matthew, especially with Mira's coming up,

  450. you had two sacrifices. Why, one for the Lord and one for

  451. ball and that I just couldn't help. But but think about Azazel, and

  452. I know that that's that sacrifice references to goats. But but I just I

  453. just had the same, the same parallel here God has. God has one

  454. sacrifice and the other one is it's for a for all intents and purposes.

  455. So obviously we saw which one was acceptable to the Lord, which one he

  456. chose and the other the other one was not sacrificed the same way that that

  457. with the with the scapegoat as a zel. So that that's that's what I

  458. when I started reading about the sacrifices, that's the first thing that came to

  459. mind, Matthew, And especially when when we tie it back into to a

  460. Judges chapter five. Well, okay, can we can we say this?

  461. Has anybody looked up the references to time here with sacrifice? Now, I'm

  462. just asking tell me, this is a very strange tale that we see here

  463. that what was a hap doing? Why did he go up to eat?

  464. Did you catch that? What did you think about that? Was that was

  465. the weird thing for Elijah to tell him to go do? Well? Yes,

  466. it is because in Lune verse thirty six. Read verse thirty six again,

  467. at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, what on earth

  468. are you talking about? Uh? Oh, so nobody realized that this must

  469. be a specific offering. No, nobody caught that. So when you realize

  470. this, okay, Jose, you were taking things just realizing that something must

  471. be going on here, because there's two sacrifices and once for the Lord and

  472. one for the scapegoat, right, right, So why didn't these verses trip

  473. the wire with you? Why is this being done on a sacrifice day?

  474. Which sacrifice? I mean, I'm not jesting, I'm being serious, yep,

  475. okay, So which so this is a high holy day. This is

  476. happening on a high holy day. Now now look read verse forty one.

  477. Now Elijah said to Ahab, go up, eat and drink, for there

  478. is a sound of the roar of a heavy shower verse forty two. So

  479. a I went up to eat and drink. If you didn't see, this

  480. was a festival your blood. So let me get this right. So there's

  481. a festival in Israel that you have a sacrifice and then after it you eat

  482. a festive meal, right right. And I would probably guess that was pretty

  483. important in the context of this, right absolutely, because it tells you in

  484. the New Testament, this is exactly three and a half years on the dime.

  485. Amen. Amen. So once you know that, once you know the

  486. high holy days, you begin to calculate, you begin to riddle yourself,

  487. and you realize that's why this is three and a half years, because at

  488. the beginning of the first month is when this started. And in the first

  489. month there's one set of high Holy days, and then three and a half

  490. years later, mean that this would have ended on the second set of high

  491. Holy days in the middle of the year, right, Jose, Yes,

  492. Matthew, So if this sequence began on Russia, shot, it was going

  493. to end the passover right or vice versa. Correct? Correct, And he's

  494. telling you which one is which. But the Lord, he's God, and

  495. he speaks to us in riddles by the command of the prophet Asaff Amen,

  496. Amen, I mean people get confused me. And I said that because I

  497. say it with authority, because I know the Bible got totally word. The

  498. reason why the Lord Jesus Christ spoken in parables because that was commanded by the

  499. prophet Asaf. And Asaf is the only prophet ever that prophesied illicitly by the

  500. order of the king. He was ordered to prophesy. So please look these

  501. things up in the Bible. So when you know this, you realize that's

  502. why this whole sequence has taken place. It's magnifying the two sets of high

  503. Holy days. One of these sets of holy days starts the civil year.

  504. We don't care about those because we're Israel. We are God's chosen people.

  505. Now we are Christians through Christ, So we really don't care about that.

  506. We care about the high holy days and the religious calendar which begins when Jose,

  507. does it begin at rash shaa or Passover? No, Passover, Matthew,

  508. Passover, ladies and gentlemen. Yes, it does that, which is

  509. probably is very confounding to your psyche because every single year in September you hear

  510. the rapture, the rapture, the rapture, the rapture. It's going to

  511. happen because it's rasha shan, because it's a feast of trumpets, right,

  512. Jose, Right when the two angels stood there looking around at the disciples as

  513. they were just staring dumbfoundedly into heaven, and they said something very very strange.

  514. They said, just as he left, he's going to come back.

  515. He was expecting you to know that ten days from that specific day was going

  516. to be Pentecost. I mean, if you need a hint, you ain't

  517. got a clue. So I've said a lot of boy, I've just dumped

  518. a lot of information on people. Is it important do you think that?

  519. Verse forty three says that and he said go back seven times. Yes,

  520. just like just like you referenced the pouring of the water, the repetitiveness,

  521. this is another repetition seven times that he had to go back to just to

  522. look. I would say that's pretty important, this being an Elisha though,

  523. because I mean, wouldn't you have to say that Elisha was the greater prophet

  524. because I remember even when a dead body was thrown and it hit the bones

  525. of Elisha, the dude come back to life just by touching Elisha's bones.

  526. But anyway, this is obviously massively important, and that stuffs people when I

  527. say that when technically the apprentice, the person unnamed here, which was Elisha,

  528. he was actually greater in miracles than Elicha. But anyway, I'm just

  529. trying to point out simple fact. We should probably consult the alpha numerics in

  530. this whole chapter, shouldn't we. Amen, This is probably prophecy all over

  531. it, right, But like I said, I mean, this is forty

  532. six verses. This is boy, this is a lot could bite off in

  533. one chew. Another thing that we need to bring up. Does everybody realize

  534. that all this is not happened in the Southern Kingdom. This is happening in

  535. the Northern Kingdom of Samaria. Did I say it strangely for you? Did

  536. that confusion? Yeah, this is happening in the north. So normally we

  537. call that Israel, right, but no, geographically speaking, this text calls

  538. it Samaria, right, because that's where the capital of the Northern Kingdom was,

  539. was in the city called Samaria. But that location was also called Samaria,

  540. but it was Israel. This is the this is the ten northern tribes.

  541. That's what we're dealing with here. Yeah, Elijah didn't go to the

  542. Jews. Uh oh, I mean, Jose, do you realize I really

  543. just confused people right now? Yes, Okay, read for me verse two

  544. please, of one eighteen, first King's eighteen. Yes, so Elijah went

  545. to show himself to Ahab. Now the famine was severe in Samaria. This

  546. is after the kingdom is divided. Ladies and gentlemen, this is not Elied.

  547. You never had anything to do with the Jews. This is the Israelites.

  548. Did you take that into account? Jose? Oh, yes, definitely,

  549. Matthew, we probably piqued some people's attention. There is more here then

  550. we can possibly cover. I mean, and there is no joke to that

  551. there is more here than I can possibly possibly share. There's just too much

  552. information here, just way too much, and there's no reason for me to

  553. even attempt it. I'm gonna give you a good bonus though. So remember

  554. I had you do that calculation. You take one hundred and forty four thousand

  555. and divide it by four point fifty. You come up with three twenty.

  556. Right. Yes, Have you taken a look at G three twenty No?

  557. I haven't, Matthew, really, so do you have access? You can

  558. do that real quick. Let me see if I can find that cooks.

  559. These tears are turning. They keep changing all these all these computer programs on

  560. in, Matthew, and it's sometimes frustrating. Yep, you get used to

  561. one. Okay, So I have here G three anagnosis. Yep. Now

  562. pull it up and read the definition for us feminine noun knowing and knowing again

  563. reading, Yes, reading, that's it. Go down to does it tell

  564. you the verses that it's in? Yes? Okay, go ahead and read

  565. those three verses. Acts thirteen fifteen. After the reading of the Law and

  566. the prophets, the rulers of the Synagogue sent unto them saying, ye,

  567. men and brethren, if you have any word of exhortation for the people,

  568. say on two Corinthians three fourteen, but their minds were blinded for until this

  569. day remains the same veil untaken away in the reading of the Old Testament,

  570. which veil is done away in Christ and one Timothy four thirteen, till I

  571. come give attendance to reading to exhortation through doctrine. You might want to write

  572. those three down, ladies and gentlemen. You might want to take a study

  573. of those He read the KJV, and I appreciate that probably a little difficult

  574. for some people. Check it out in well, just do yourself a favor

  575. and check it out, because I haven't revealed a hundredth of the information that

  576. I could hose. You're closing comments, Well, Matthew, you just can't

  577. help but read first King's eighteen and it takes you to the two witnesses.

  578. In Revelation chapter eleven. You not only have the mention of the three years

  579. and six months, the twelve hundred and sixty days. I'm sorry that the

  580. three years and six months, the twelve hundred and sixty days, the forty

  581. two months. You also have the reference to these two witnesses having the power

  582. to shut up the sky so that rain will not fall. And then you

  583. also have Matthew the seventh Trumpet in Revelation chapter eleven, and we read referenced

  584. to seven times that the servant had to go and check for the for the

  585. rain. And I want to read verse nineteen of Revelation eleven, and the

  586. temple of God, which is in heaven, was opened, and the ark

  587. of his covenant appeared in his temple, and there was flashes of lightning and

  588. sounds and peals of thunder and an earthquake and a great hailstorm. So yeah,

  589. God's pointing us right here, Matthew. I mean, I don't know,

  590. I don't know how you could you could deny it. Well, let

  591. us hope that this inspires people to dig into this chapter because we just don't

  592. have time to. I mean, our time is up, Yes, our

  593. time is up. So I appreciate that you've been listening to the show shanime

  594. series again, and then I bet since you've been re listening to them,

  595. you've learned twice as much as I shared initially. Right, Yeah, absolutely,

  596. yep, Because God's word has that effect, doesn't it. It does,

  597. Matthew. And when we're talking about it, you know, my one

  598. side of my brain is working because we're discussing things. But when I'm just

  599. listening, I got like both halves up open, and now they can Now

  600. my brain can work, right, Hey man, hey man, all right,

  601. Jose, pray us out of here. Please all right, Dear heavenly

  602. Father, whom we love and serve, we thank you, we praise you,

  603. we glorify you for your word that you have given us, and for

  604. allowing us this space and this time to gather together. Lord. I asked

  605. that this each blessed the listeners, whether that be in now we're in the

  606. archive, and I ask that it edified the Ecclesia, because that's the whole

  607. purpose for us doing this. This is not to glorify ourselves. This is

  608. not to glorify any doctrine. This is not to glorify any traditions of man.

  609. Lord, This is to glorify you and edify the Ecclesia. So I

  610. asked that that be done, whether it be one person, whether that be

  611. one lost sheep, Father, please let let this be so. Lord,

  612. I pray for those in need for those in sickness, for those in fear,

  613. and I pray that as the birth pangs come along, that you remind

  614. your people that this is what is supposed to come. We were told by

  615. your son, this is what is supposed to happen. Please remain with your

  616. people, Please help us endure the coming birth pangs, and please help us

  617. to continue to read your word and to pray for each other, Lord,

  618. as we wait for your son to return. And we ask all this in

  619. the name of your Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen,

  620. Amen and Amen. Until next time, ladies and gentlemen, God bless

  621. God speed. Thank you for listening to Marinath the Ministries with Matthew Miller.
