Do you know the Bible is God's Holy Word? Do you know it is
-
inspired, in errant, and infallible? If so, like, share,
-
subscribe and support this podcast. So we are Maranatha Ministries and now Reduction Draweth
-
Nigh. Welcome, Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to the program. We are
-
your host Jose and Matthew. Tonight we have another in the introductory series.
-
Jose and I are obviously going to have to do many of these just off
-
the response that I got off the first of the introductory lessons that we have
-
given so far. So right now we're going to do an introduction to isochronal
-
askatology. Now, you know this is an uphill battle right from the beginning,
-
because you know, Hoose, how many Bible teachers teach that time is
-
isochronal? I mean, who even mentions isochronology and the Bible? Who else
-
does it? I've only heard it here, Matthew nobody, of course.
-
Aaron. Aaron's in an institution of higher learning, and he says, they
-
they use this new phraseology partial fulfillment. No no, it ain't a partial
-
fulfillment. No it ain't no, no, no, no it ain't.
-
So this is a quagmire. It really is a quagmire. So we better
-
start ourselves off in prayer and finish out in prayer. So would you like
-
to start out or would you like to finish? I can finish, Matthew,
-
Okay, all right, let us lead off in prayer. You're having
-
a Father, thank you so much for this opportunity that you've afforded to Jseh,
-
that we might bless the name of your son, the Lord Jesus Christ,
-
and that we might try to edify the Lord Jesus Christ Church, that
-
we might be a blessing, that we might bring peace and understanding as to
-
the reason why you even wrote the Bible, your holy words. So thank
-
you so much for this opportunity. And all that jose and I can do
-
is is plead to you, Father, to fill your children with the Holy
-
Spirit and open their eyes and open their ears so that they may be able
-
to ingest what it is you have given to them. This magnificent proof text
-
here in Daniel chapter eleven. This is the greatest proof text of them all.
-
And for this, Jose and I humbly ask you to guide our our
-
words and guide our thoughts, that we might be edifying to your church and
-
the lame of the Lord Jesus Christ. We pray Amen and Amen Amen.
-
Okay, Jose, We've got to you know, this is this is twice
-
over what we normally do. I normally say we can cover it in one
-
mouthful twenty twenty one versus Max. I based that off of Obadiah. Of
-
course, the twenty one verses of Obadiah and that last verson Obadiah. That's
-
what poppera in itself. That's why I try to say, well, really
-
it's twenty so we better cut right to the chase here. What's your opening
-
comments on Daniel chapter eleven. Well, Matthew, I mean, obviously I've
-
read it before, and if you don't understand the historical context, you can
-
kind of get lost, and a lot of what's saying At the same time
-
as I'm reading it, I'm trying to understand the prophetic context, okay,
-
which you really can't do both, Matthew. At the same time. You've
-
got you've got to understand the historical context first before you start can start to
-
understand the prophetic context. So so those are the two things that are going
-
on in this chapter. And there is just so much information in these verses,
-
as far as having to research right, having to figure out what God
-
was telling us about what Daniel meant prophetically that was to come in the near
-
time frame, and then what he meant prophetically and what is to come in
-
the latter timeframe. So it's just it's it's just it's just it's amazing,
-
Matthew, when when you just start to look into this historically and you start
-
to read about the historical figures and and God just hitting you upside the face
-
with how how he repeats himself, how he iserconally tells us what is to
-
come. And so this this, this is a great chapter to study.
-
And like you said, it's going to take more than one show to get
-
it all in. Well, I hope not. I hope we can do
-
it all here. Let's really clarify what you're saying. There is no doubt
-
this was all already fulfilled. Right. This is why the Book of the
-
Maccabees was even written. Most Protestants don't know that because it's not in their
-
Bible. The Maccabees is not. Jesus lays this all the ways in Matthew
-
Chapter twenty four, verse fifteen and I quote from the Lord Jesus Christ,
-
the son of the Living God. Therefore, when you see the abomination of
-
desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, but standing in the
-
Holy place, let the reader understand he is directly quoting here from Daniel,
-
chapter eleven, verse thirty one, Christ himself, the king of creation.
-
Jose just said, by the way, this is going to happen again.
-
So if you think this has been fulfilled, you're absolutely wrong. So in
-
the classroom setting, this always sets everybody in silence because they realize everything they've
-
heard before now is a lie. If you've been taught preterism, if you've
-
been taught that this is Daniel prophesying Antiochus Epiphanes, you are dead wrong.
-
Because Christ said this has not happened yet. So here we have this conundrum.
-
Jose, right, but you can put these forty five verses die directly
-
two historical events, directly directly to historical events. So is there any hope
-
of us even reading I mean, should we just read through this straight we
-
can? Matthew, Yeah, that might be the best thrive at all.
-
Yep. Get it all out there and then and then dig into it.
-
Okay, well, can I ask you to read away or would you like
-
me to do it? Sure? I can read very good, all right.
-
So we're in Daniel chapter eleven, and I'm reading out of the nasb.
-
Nineteen ninety five and the first year of Darius. The mead arose to
-
be an encouragement and a protection. I arose to be an encouragement and a
-
protection for him. And now I will tell you the truth. Behold,
-
three more kings are going to arise in Persia. Then the fourth will gain
-
far more riches than all of them. As soon as he becomes strong through
-
his riches, he will arouse the whole empire against the realm of Greece,
-
and a mighty king will arise, and he will rule with great authority and
-
do as he pleases. But as soon as he has arisen, his kingdom
-
will be broken up and parceled out toward the four points of the Compass,
-
though not to his own descendants, No, according to his authority which he
-
wielded for his sovereignty will be uprooted and given to others besides them. Then
-
the King of the South will go strong, along with one of his princes,
-
who will gain ascendency over him and obtain dominion. His dominion will be
-
a great dominion. Indeed, after some years they will form an alliance,
-
and the daughter of the King of the South will come to the King of
-
the North to carry out a peaceful arrangement. But she will not retain her
-
position of power, nor will he remain with his power. But she will
-
be given up along with those who brought her in and the one who sired
-
her, as well as he who supported her in those times. But one
-
of the descendants of her Lyne will arise in his place, and he will
-
come against their army and enter the fortress of the King of the North,
-
and he will deal with him and display great strength. Also their gods,
-
with their metal images and their precious vessels of silver and gold, he will
-
take into captivity to Egypt, and he, on his part, will refrain
-
from attacking the King of North for some years. Then the latter will enter
-
the realm of the King of the South, but will return to his own
-
land. His sons will mobilize and assemble a multitude of great forces, and
-
one of them will keep on coming and overflow and pass through that he may
-
again wage war up to his very fortress. The King of the South will
-
be enraged and go forth and fight with the King of the North. Then
-
the latter will raise a great multitude, but that multitude will be given into
-
the hand of the former. Altitude is carried away, his heart will be
-
lifted up, and he will cause tens of thousands to fall. Yet he
-
will not prevail, for the King of the North will again raise a greater
-
multitude than the former, and after an interval of some years, he will
-
press on with the great army and much equipment. Now in those times,
-
many will rise up against the King of the South. The violent ones among
-
your people also will lift themselves up in order to fulfill the vision, but
-
they will fall down. Then the King of the North will come, cast
-
up a sea trap and capture a well fortified city. And the forces of
-
the South will not stand their ground, not even their choicest troops, for
-
there will be no strength to make a stand. But he who comes against
-
him will do as he pleases, and no one will be able to withstand
-
him. He will also stay for a time in the beautiful land with destruction
-
in his hand. He will set his face to come with the power of
-
his whole kingdom, bringing with him a proposal of peace, which he will
-
put into effect. He will also give him the daughter of women to ruin
-
it, but she will not take a stand for him or be on his
-
side. Then he will turn his face to the coastlands and capture many,
-
But a commander will put a stop to his scorn against him. Moreover,
-
he will repay him for his scorn. So he will turn his face toward
-
the fortresses of his own land. But he will stumble and fall and be
-
found no more. Then in his place one will arise who will send an
-
oppressor to the jewel of his kingdom. Yet within a few days he will
-
be shattered, though not in anger nor in battle. In his place,
-
a despicable person will arise, on whom the honor of kingship has not been
-
conferred. But he will come in a time of tranquility and seize the kingdom
-
by intrigue. The overflowing forces will be flooded away before him and shattered,
-
And also the Prince of the Covenant. After an alliance is made with him,
-
he will practice deception, and he will go up and gain power with
-
a small force of people. In a time of tranquility. He will enter
-
the richest parts of the realm, and he will accomplish what his fathers never
-
did, nor his ancestors. He will distribute plunder, booty, and possessions
-
among them, and he will devise his schemes against strongholds, but only for
-
a time. He will stir up his strength and courage against the King of
-
the South with the large army. So the King of the South will mobilize
-
an extremely large and mighty army for war, but he will not stand,
-
for schemes will be devised against him. Those who eat his choice food will
-
destroy him, and his army will overflow, but many will fall down slain.
-
As for both kings, their hearts will be intent on evil, and
-
they will speak lies to each other at the same table, but it will
-
not succeed, for the end is to come at the appointed time. Then
-
he will return to his land with much plunder, but his heart will be
-
set against the Holy Covenant, and he will take action and then return to
-
his own land. At the appointed time, he will return and come into
-
the South. But this last time it will not turn out the way it
-
did before, for ships of Kiddom will come against him Therefore he will be
-
disheartened and will return and become enraged at the Holy Covenant and take action.
-
So he will come back and show regard for those who forsake the Holy Covenant.
-
Forces from him will arise, desecrate the sanctuary fortress, and do away
-
with the regular sacrifice, and they will set up the abomination of desolation by
-
smooth words. He will turn to godlessness those who act wickedly toward the Covenant,
-
But the people who know their God will display strength and take action.
-
Those who have insight among the people will give understanding to the many. Yet
-
they will fall by the sword and by flame, by captivity, and by
-
plunder for many days. And when they fall, they will be granted a
-
little help, and many will join with them in hypocrisy. Some of those
-
who have insight will fall in order to refine, purge and make them pure
-
until the end time, because it is still to come. At the appointed
-
time. Then the king will do as he pleases, and he will exalt
-
and magnify himself above every god, and will speak monstrous things against the God
-
of gods, and he will prosper until the indignation is finished. For that
-
which is decreed will be done. He will show no regard for the gods
-
of his fathers, or for the desire of women, nor will he show
-
regard for any other god, for he will magnify himself above them all.
-
But instead he will honor a god of fortresses, a god whom his fathers
-
did not know. He will honor him with gold, silver, costly stones
-
and treasures. He will take action against the strongest of fortresses with the help
-
of a foreign god. He will give great honor to those who acknowledge him,
-
and will cause them to rule over the many, and will parcel out
-
land for a price. At the end time, the king of the South
-
will collide with him, and the king of the North will storm against him
-
with chariots, with horsemen, and with many ships, and he will enter
-
countries, overflow them, and pass through. He will also enter the beautiful
-
land, and many countries will fall, but these will be rescued out of
-
his hand. Eat them Moab and the foremost of the sons of Amine.
-
Then he will stretch out his hand against other countries, and the land of
-
Egypt will not escape, but he will gain control over the hidden treasures of
-
gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt and Libyans and
-
Ethiopians will follow at his heels. But rumors from the east and from the
-
north will disturb him, and he will go forth with great wrath to destroy
-
and annihilate many. He will pitch the tents of his royal pavilion between the
-
seas and the beautiful holy Mountain. Yet he will come to his end,
-
and no one will help him. Wow. That's a mouthful, isn't it.
-
Yes, it is, Matthew. I mean, you realize he's perfectly
-
describing literally everything that happened the rise of Alexander the Great, what happened to
-
the Persians, the whole nine yards right, right? Really, he gives
-
us everything up to the desecration of the temple, the setting up of the
-
abomination of desolation. Then you pick up at verse thirty six, these things
-
have not happened yet, correct, And Giaccas Epiphanes never engaged in this thirst,
-
this third engagement never happened. Right. So, so I guess the
-
better way way to look at this, Matthew, is that God here is
-
speaking prophetically. He's speaking about what is to come, He's speaking about the
-
end times. Right, But Historically, he caused the events to happen with
-
Alexander the Great and with and with you know, the Seleucids and the Ptolemys
-
and all that, to show us an example of what is to come.
-
This is this is not speaking about those events, but he's using those historical
-
events to show us a glimpse of what is to come. I guess you
-
could say a reminder, a remembrancer of what is to come. Well,
-
could we say this that as God spoke this, Well, who was literally
-
speaking here, literally speaking here is the parchangel Gabriel, Right, I mean
-
we know them. So that being said, he's just repeating what God has
-
told him to tell Daniel. So literally we're having, you know, just
-
the same exact thing. Jesus Christ does this in Revelation. He tells the
-
Angel, and the Angel goes and tells John. Right, So we're having
-
the same thing here with Gabriel. He's telling Gabriel, and Gabriel is relaying
-
it to Daniel. Is it possible that the very force of him saying this
-
creates a wave through time? Yeah, and that you know the I mean,
-
let's magnify this, let's magnify verse two. Well, you know verse
-
one is talking about Darius the mead. Yes, yes it is. Verse
-
two says three more kings. We know who those are, canbis. We
-
have Gamata, Darius, and the Xerxes the first right, right, you
-
can't argue this, can't no, I mean this is true. And then
-
verse three is Alexander the Great. Yes it is right, Yes it is.
-
I mean, there's just no doubt. And then all of a sudden
-
it switches to verse five and it starts talking about the King of the South
-
and the King of the the North, which is the Potolemy's. Well,
-
why don't you give me your your your historical view here, I mean,
-
these verses are amazing. You can put literal names to all of this.
-
Correct, correct, correct, So historically people have looked at at the King
-
of the North being the Seleucid dynasty, which is one branch that that came
-
about after Alexander the Great, and the King of the South being historically the
-
Ptolemy's in Egypt. Right, the Seleucids were mostly over Syria Asia Minor and
-
the Ptolemy's being over Egypt. And of course there are always going back and
-
forth, always battling, and so you've got you've got different times where the
-
Ptolemies were stronger, at different times where the Solucid dynasty is stronger. And
-
that's where a lot of this is is. You know, it's kind of
-
described here and in them going back and forth, you have the the arrangement
-
that was made with with the daughter of the South Bernice, right, that
-
marriage that was attempted to try to settle settle peace in or Mary and and
-
get the get the the people working together. You also have in the backdrop
-
Matthew kind of as as those two dynasties start to lessen, Rome becomes stronger,
-
and then Rome right and starts essentially still still giving the governorship for these
-
two dynasties, but they're they're really in charge of what happens. So so
-
you've got Rome that will say, for example, when well, one of
-
the a Selucid king is in power, they'll take one of his sons and
-
and take care of him right in Rome, right, but they're they're holding
-
a hostage so that the Selucid king or does what what they want them what
-
they want them to do. So you have you have these historical things happening,
-
and it's just there's just so much there, Matthew to dig into.
-
Well, let's there's so much to dig get up. Let's talk about the
-
ships of Kiddom. This is when he goes and invades, right, but
-
then the Romans step in. Okay? Did this this really happened? The
-
Romans stepped in right, Okay? And literally if you read the historical context
-
of what happened, it's really off the book. Really, the Romans really
-
do put uh and into what's going on. And that's why historically the the
-
the Israe the lights have called Rome kiddom. Right, Yes, that's what
-
they call them. Here, let me read the history of it. In
-
six in one sixty eight BC, Antiochus led a second attack on Egypt.
-
Okay, and also sent a fleet to capture Cyprus. Now, before you
-
reached Alexandria's past was blocked by a singularly elderly Roman ambassador named Leonias, who
-
delivered a message from the Roman senate. Now, look, this is what
-
really happened. Antiochus tries to argue with him, and he literally draws a
-
line in the sand around Antiochus and says, no, you're giving me an
-
answer as to whether you're going to withdraw before you leave this circle, because
-
whatever you say before you leave this circle is what I'm going to report back
-
to the Roman Senate. That this this really did happen, Yes, it
-
did. We know who did it, who, what, where and why?
-
I mean literally we know what happened here. So I mean the historians
-
call the ancient sources traditionally call this this event the day of Eliasis. It's
-
also called the Great Humiliation of Antiochus Epiphanies. But that this really happened,
-
Jose, This is true, that literally really happened, all right, So
-
you know it's amazing that you get this, this this daughter of women right,
-
and the Bible doesn't come out and tell you everything. And it's so
-
perfect how the Bible uses these phrases, you know, the daughter of women,
-
of women. Nobody knows what happened behind the scenes here with Laodis.
-
You know, it's amazing that people don't Realizeze that Bernice was given as a
-
bride. Okay, in order to do so, Leo just had to step
-
aside. So she had Bernice and the air killed correct, correct, yes,
-
But when you read Daniel, it says it so perfectly without naming names.
-
You realize that prophetically this is being woved into one force. So but
-
hindsight's twenty twenty when you realize, wow, he's literally greatly depicting exactly what
-
happened to We have to realize that earlier in Daniel, you get this vision
-
of the little horn, right, and you realize that this directly applies to
-
Antiochus Epiphanies because answer me, this was Antiochus Epiphany supposed to be the one
-
in control. No, sir, he was not. Okay, so how
-
many relatives were before him in the line of succession? What I what I
-
saw was that there was three. Okay, So he must have had a
-
brother or something. Yep, yep, he had a brother. Yes,
-
I can read you. I can read you this little bit, Matthew,
-
that might okay, go ahead, yeah, a little bit. And this
-
is straight from Wikipedia, but says Antiochus was born around two fifteen BC and
-
was the son of the Seleucid king Antiochus the third the Great. As a
-
potential successor to the throne, he became a political hostage of the Roman Republic
-
under the turns of terms of the Treaty of Apamea, concluded in one eighty
-
eight BC, after his older brother Seleucus the fourth Philopotter followed their father onto
-
the throne. In one eighty seven BC, Antiochus was exhamee for Demetrius the
-
first Soda son and era of Seleusis right, So then Seleucius the brother,
-
the one that was reigning, was assassinated in a September one seventy five PC
-
by the government minister Heliodorus Heliodorus proclaiming slave self regent k and then with the
-
help of the king of Pergamum, Antiochus the fourth came and essentially got rid
-
of that guy. Right. The legitimate air, of course, should have
-
been Demetrius the first soldier, who was held hostage in Rome, but he
-
Antiochus seized the throne for himself, proclaiming hisself coregent with another son of Seleusis
-
an infant named Antiochus. Antiochus, the son of Seleucus the fourth would later
-
die in one seventy BC, possibly murdered by Antiochus the fourth. So that's
-
how he comes to the throne. Matthew, Now treachery involved there, right,
-
So literally speaking, you're saying a brother and two nephews. Right,
-
uh huh, yep. Is that not exactly what the Bible states, Yes,
-
it does, Matthew, that the little horn would uproot three or right,
-
that's exactly what it says. And we know exactly historically speaking, what
-
those ten horns mean, Yes, we do. We do know what those
-
tens horn are because you can literally track the ten up to Antiochus epiphanies.
-
Yes you can. You can literally put names behind everything. Okay, I
-
mean, look, ladies and gentlemen, these things are true. But Christ
-
trumps you. Christ says, no, no, it happened, It hasn't
-
happened yet. Matter of fact, Christ says this pertaining to the end of
-
days. And when you see now, it's amazing that remember this is one
-
of the strange times where the Adiddo Regia text the literal New Testament, the
-
New Testament manuscript, okay, as solidified by all the church east west,
-
north side, all the churches solidified that it's the Adido Regia that is the
-
correct Greek manuscript, all the church, everybody, this infamous verse that has
-
let the reader understand in Greek, right, Jose, right, and now
-
you understand why Jesus is saying this, right, he's saying, this is
-
an iso. He's saying time as isochronal, and every time this goes around
-
the ride it will be eventually there will come one which will fulfill this entire
-
template. Right, Yes, and there's just no denying that. We can
-
take a look at from verse thirty six on. It has not happened yet.
-
No, everything else has obviously happened. And we all need to realize
-
that the Bible is screaming from the top of God's lungs. Time is io
-
chromine. That's exactly what he says in the Book of Ecclesiastes. He doesn't
-
just does he not say most of you know these verses, that that which
-
is is that which will be? You know those verses from Ecclesiastes. You
-
know that it literally comes out and says God himself chases after what has been
-
right Jose, Yes, that's what he says. Why have we Why do
-
we Christians have it stuck in our head that time is linear? Why is
-
that when God screams other Jesus Christ screams otherwise, Jesus Christ is screaming.
-
In Matthew chapter twenty four, verse fifteen, this chapter's not happened yet.
-
So when you realize that and you step back and you study this, uh,
-
you study the history of it, it makes you really step back and
-
realize, oh my goodness, here in this text it seems to mention two
-
different women, but you realize that it puts it in such a way it's
-
really one force of nature. When there's no doubt this is talking about Bernice
-
and her being murdered by Laodis, as Laodis was the first wife all this
-
treachery involved. You know, it's it's amazing that only historians can appreciate that
-
all this treachery being mentioned about Antiochus Epiphanies is pale and compares to what was
-
going on between Bernice and Laodis, right right. I mean, it'll absolutely
-
blow you away that the mechanations going on here. It's just amazing to me.
-
You know, verse seven mentions one of her line as in literally speaking
-
in Bernice's line. Who is it talking about. It's talking about Putaulemy the
-
third okay, and he did away with Laodis, the one who had murdered
-
Bernice. I mean, this is serious treachery going on here, Serious treachery
-
going on here with this daughter of women, this daughter of the King of
-
the South. It's just absolutely unhind So I'll want your thoughts looking into the
-
future. You know, what are the what are the most important identities in
-
the Book of Revelation concerning the in days? Because guess what I mean.
-
I hate to rend your party, Jose, but I want to break it
-
to you gently. The anti Christ ain't one of them, right, No,
-
it's not. Okay. So we have the Beast from the Abyss,
-
right, yes, we have the false Prophet, right, correct? Then
-
we have another entity that's all over the Book of Revelation, that is the
-
Great Harlet. Correct, yes, So when we look forward, we know
-
beyond any shadow of a doubt that this Great Harlot plays a prominent pentacle role
-
in all of this, right right, So looking forward, what do you
-
think that means? It's it's it's hard to put together, Matthew. You
-
could you could look at Antiochus an example of the false prophet because of what
-
he does in the sanctuary and what he does to the to the to the
-
sacrifices, right, you can you can almost read what his what he's what
-
he's done, and see what what the false prophet is going to do,
-
and obviously to a much grander scale. Right when it comes to the Harlot.
-
You know, all all this, all this treachery that we read about
-
in in In with the Ptolemy's and with the Antiochus dynasty. You know,
-
it's all about getting their heirs on the throne. It's all about getting their
-
their seed to have control. That's the only reason they're doing all this,
-
Leo, Like you said, Leodice was the first wife, and she obviously
-
had children that she wants on the throne. And then all of a sudden
-
Bernice comes in. And now because of the agreement that's been made, now
-
Bernice's children are going to be the ones that will ascended the throne. And
-
of course that doesn't go over well with Layo, dis okay, And so
-
you know all this treachery, and and again you'd have to look into historically
-
they're called it's called the great Haarlett in the Book of Revelation. So there's
-
got to be some harder tree going on here, Matthew that will help us
-
understand what is to come. There just has to be agreed, There has
-
to be there literally has to be you know, we're we're going to talk
-
about something that that to the best of my knowledge, I don't think anybody
-
else knows this information. What made Antiochus Epiphanies, well, what made him
-
different was a simple fact that he started taking on titles that were divine.
-
And it's very disturbing because he was the first one that did it. Okay
-
now, now, now his dad used Antiochus the Great right, right,
-
Yes, Antiochus went way beyond this. He started using divine epitaphs like manifest
-
God and Bringer a Victory. But when you look at this, and you
-
can only look at this in Greek, right, because literally you can get
-
these titles on coins, right, The thing that bothers me is what he's
-
known by, Antiochus Epiphanies. When you look at that in the Greek,
-
it kind of catches your attention, don't it. Yes, it does,
-
Matthew, And it catches your attention. From my childhood, because I was
-
taught this from the earliest of age. It was a way that my pastor
-
shielded me and protected me from the children of disobedience. Brother Marshall drilled this
-
into our heads every year, the different different age groups, whenever we would
-
get our rewards. Whenever your particular class is over for the year, whether
-
it's the youth group or the adolescent age, the end of the year,
-
we'd have rewards. And whoever got the most points, YadA, YadA,
-
YadA, Who've got the most verses. To make a long story short,
-
he said, he drill into our heads, ask them these three questions.
-
Number one, the first question was who is the son of Kush? Number
-
two, who is the wife of Manoah? And number three, who is
-
Abigail's husband. Now, if they can answer those three questions, you know
-
that, even if it's unintentional, they've read and studied the Bible so much
-
it's been imprinted on their psyche. I'm not going to give you the three
-
answers because it's just literally. I prove this when even I was in an
-
institution, a Christian institutional higher learning. You're talking about the top ten percentile
-
of Christians. Top ten percent of Christians can answer those three questions. So
-
literally, if you know the answer to those three questions, you know more
-
than ninety nine percent of the population. Only the ten percent of Christians know
-
the answer to those three questions. And when you look at this in the
-
Greek that that title, which is manifest God, it pertains to one of
-
these three questions, doesn't it, Jose, Yes, it does. Yep.
-
So, ladies and gentlemen, this is the first time you've ever heard
-
this, at least to the best of my knowledge, because I've never shared
-
it publicly. This is only for in the classroom, people who are studying
-
the Bible with me in the classroom. So get your pens and pencils and
-
your paper, scratch paper, whatever, and write this down. Jose,
-
where is this title in the Bible? Because it is there. Where's it
-
at? Please the first time it shows up? Matthews in Dudges thirteen,
-
verse six in the Greek. Can you read that for us? Yes?
-
And the woman went and told her husband, saying, there came to me
-
a man of God, and his visage was like that of an angel of
-
God, very awful, so that I did not ask him whence he was,
-
nor did he tell me his name. But he said to me,
-
behold thou art with child, Jose, what's this woman's name? We're not
-
giving her name, Matthew. And this you don't know her name, right,
-
correct? You are? You are never told her name? She simply
-
bears the name Manoah's wife, correct, correct, and prophetically, you can
-
see now why that would be right right, And you can see here reading
-
the Greek, you can see here why it would be incorporated. Antiochus Epiphanes
-
was prophetically calling himself the angel that bore this message right right? Why don't
-
you, why don't you read for us verse seven and eight of Judges chapter
-
thirteen. And he said to me, behold, thou art with child and
-
shall bring forth the sun. And now drink no wine nor strong drink,
-
and eat no unclean thing, for the child shall be holy to God from
-
the womb until the day of his death. And Manoah prayed to the Lord
-
and said, I pray thee o, Lord, my Lord, concerning the
-
man of God whom thou sentest. Let him now come to us once more
-
and teach us what we shall do to the child about to be born.
-
So I appreciate that. Why don't you try verse eight in the Thompson translation,
-
if you have it available, please. Whereupon Manoah prayed to the Lord
-
and said, Lord, I deny, grant me that the man of God
-
whom thou didst send may come to us again and instruct us what we shall
-
do to the child which is to be born. Now we're seeing prophecy off
-
the hook, aren't we. Yes, Now we're seeing machinations underlying the sectuligint
-
that will quite simply blow your mind in Jose, and I do not have
-
the time. But there in verse six is exactly the epitaph that Antiochus took
-
on for himself, God manifest right there in the Greek, staring you in
-
the face. And if you can't read the Greek, you can't see it.
-
But I'm here to tell you that now prophetically, you're probably all wishing
-
that Matthew had an hour right now to explain to you why it is that
-
Manoah's wife is not given. Boy, don't you wish you had the time
-
just to dive into that right now? Jose, Oh, yeah, but
-
we can't. We got to complete this with a time that's been given us.
-
So when he used this epithaph, and he was sitting there in the
-
sanctuary in front of all the Jews, you know what, you know,
-
they were hearing it and they understood what he was trying to say. Yes,
-
exactly, because because a lot of people probably don't realize what was going
-
on with why he was giving out things for a price and stuff like that.
-
They probably don't realize that, ladies and gentlemen, Antiochus did a very
-
terrible thing multiple times. He literally sold the high priesthood. Correct, Yes
-
he did. Can you describe for us those events? The well the what
-
I read there? And I don't have the names right off the bat,
-
but yeah, he had said old the priest, so like you said too,
-
he had promised it and and basically the person had already paid for it,
-
and so he was a high priest until someone else came in paid a
-
higher price, and then Antiochus put him as a high priest. Yeah,
-
we're talking about Onias the Third. Correct. Yes, literally paid for the
-
removal of Onias the Third. Okay, now it was a relative is his
-
name Jason that bought it? Correct? Problem is is that once the Jews
-
figured out, hey, maybe I can offer him a higher price, which
-
is exactly what one of Jason's rivals did, uh Minlayius did, they went
-
and just paid Antiochus more more money. So out with Jason. It's amazing
-
that people that that Christians aren't told this really happened. I mean, this
-
is what really happened, and we know that in the final time, this
-
isn't what it's going to be. We know beyond any shadow of a doubt
-
that false Prophet does something else, doesn't it, Because the biblical narrative is
-
clear in the underlying Hebrew and Greek. Something puts him down. That would
-
be the great day of the Lord, no doubt. And when he comes,
-
when he is resurrected during the one thousand, two hundred and sixty day
-
tribulation, he literally has the power of a little God. Correct correct.
-
Well, here where Antiochus is put down, here in what is to come,
-
the false prophet steps into the role of the high police of the high
-
Priest, and he assumes to be a speaking and equal to the Angel he's
-
worshiping. Correct correct. Yes. So if you don't know everything behind the
-
high Priest Onanias of the third you'll need to look it up, because these
-
things are going to happen. Christ said these things are going to happen again.
-
So Daniel chapter eleven is paramount to your histo biblical studies. You need
-
to study this historically and write down all the names. I mean literally,
-
you can go through this jot and tittle verse by verse. I mean,
-
let's pick this up with verse fourteen. Okay, the king of the South,
-
This is Potomy the fifth. Okay of Egypt. Okay, the Jews
-
who joined forces of Antiochus. These things literally happened to the teen. They
-
literally happened to the team. Now the well fortified city in verse fifteen,
-
that is the Metatanian port of Saidan. Yes it is. We can look
-
up the historical reference and tells you all about what happened. These things are
-
true, okay verse sixteen. He who comes is Antiochus. He was in
-
control of the Holy Land by one ninety seven BC. We can literally put
-
names to this now in no, look verse seventeen when it says he will
-
also give him the daughter of women. Antiochus gave his daughter. When I
-
say it, take a deep breath. Antiochus gave Cleopatra the First, that
-
was his daughter. Look all of you know Cleopatra, right, Cleopatra the
-
First was Antiochis's daughter, and he gave in marriage to put Tomy the fifth.
-
This really did happen in one ninety four BC. Jose, yes it
-
did, Yes, it did. So these things being interwoven with historical events
-
playing out real time on the ground. Is just enough to blow you away.
-
It's it's enough to blow you away. Now let's take a look at
-
verse twenty two. I've already talked about it. But who is the prince
-
of the Covenant? This is the high priest Ownias the third. Yes it
-
is, Yes, it is. You can go through this jah and tittle
-
and give a name to everybody that's mentioned here. I mean I already stated
-
in verse thirty the ships of Kitten, the Roman vessel that arrived under Linnaeus.
-
He was the one that that drew a circle in the sand around Antiochus
-
and said, look, you give me an answer before you leave the circle,
-
because I'm going straight back to the Roman Senate to tell you you're this
-
literally is exactly what happened, not a little bit. And it's to the
-
point that historians reject this, right, Jose, Correct, they do.
-
Now there's a big problem with that, right because, Uh, what's the
-
earliest copy of the Sept two Agent that we have? Oh, I don't
-
know that it's three hundred BC. Jose. All right, a little bit,
-
Jose, we have two copies of the Sept two Agent that predate the
-
Masoretic text from the seven hundreds by one thousand years. No one understand this,
-
This was written three hundred BC. I already told you the dates.
-
Jose Yep, Daniel wrote this minimum one hundred years before. Yes he did,
-
yes, he did. So with that in mind, it's very disturbing
-
that people don't realize that we have septuageent manuscripts with Daniel in them that predate
-
these events by one hundred years. But of course, those that are in
-
a Christian institution's higher learning, that are professors that are not Christians, they
-
will lie and say that this had to be written after that, and they
-
will actually put this on test and force future pastors to lie on the test.
-
In order to pass the test, you have to lie and say that
-
Daniel was written post the events. Of course, these professors aren't chips,
-
They're just professors that's teaching in an institution of higher learning. So this is
-
very disturbing, very disturbing. And pose, let me ask you this.
-
You've obviously studied Bible prophecy before you joined this ministry, right, yes,
-
you know what had you heard about Daniel chapter eleven before you ever encountered this
-
ministry. There were some that obviously they talked about the historic events and not
-
into as much detail as we've gone through here. I hear a lot of
-
people relating the King of the North to that Antichrist right in quotation marks you
-
can call them the prophet. That's how he's called them the Book Revelation,
-
and those were the extent of where they would go with their with their analysis
-
with the prophetic things that were being discussed here in Danish chapter eleven, because
-
they couldn't really explain how all these characters in Daniel eleven relate to the entities
-
that we read about in the Book of Revelation. But that's the one thing
-
I remember the most, is the King of the North being being that that
-
false prophet anti Christ. And of course when it talks about him being bolsful
-
and proclaiming claiming himself God, sowing no regard for the gods of his father's
-
you know, that's that's where most of the focus was, because it's it's
-
you can tie a lot of what's being said at the end of Daniel eleven
-
to other prophetic books and and and do a little bit of study that way.
-
But as far as understanding what's being said at the top of Daniel eleven
-
and relating that prophetically. No, I never got a whole lot of information
-
that way, Matthew. You know, which is a shame, isn't it.
-
There's a lot there, man, There's a lot there that could have
-
been taught just from the history that you weren't getting right. And you know,
-
it's it's just that's just too bad. Now, I've got to clarify
-
to everybody, just so everybody knows that word Antichrist is G five hundred in
-
your strong concordance. It's antichristos. That's five times in the Bible. It's
-
in one John two eighteen, and one John two twenty two, and first
-
John four verse three. Lastly, it's in second John one seven. It's
-
never in revelation. Antichrist isn't in revelation. It never was. And I'm
-
telling you the truth. One thing is for sure. When you prophetically look
-
at this narrative, we agree that many times he says the king of the
-
North and the king of the South. Correct, Jose, Correct, he
-
says that many times. But when you step back and read this prophetically,
-
you know he's talking about one person and this person is not the King of
-
the North, and it's not the King of the South. It is a
-
third party. If you read this, if you were listening for it,
-
it made itself perfectly clear. With this well fortified city. Let me read
-
this. It says, then the King of the North will come and cast
-
a besiege, ramp and capture a well fortified city. And forces of the
-
South will not stand their ground, even their choices troops, for there will
-
be no strength for them to take a stand verse sixteen. But he who
-
comes against him will do as he pleases, and no one be able to
-
withstand him. He will also stay for a time in the beautiful land with
-
destruction in his hand. I'm sorry, ladies, gentlemen. This is the
-
third party, isn't it, Jose, Yes, it is. Verse fifteen
-
made it. God made himself clear that the King of the North comes and
-
raids a city in the King of the South. The King of the South
-
cannot withstand it, even the special forces of the King of the South withstanding,
-
But this third party comes in, and it says something very strange.
-
But he who does come, he doesn't say the King of the South.
-
But he who does come against him will do as he pleases, and for
-
some reason it says that he will have destruction in his hand. I urgently
-
push everybody look at this in the Hebrew and then look at it into Greek,
-
because it's important because the Assyrian false prophet is this third party. Yes
-
it is, Oh, yes it is. And the woman here that's being
-
talked about. You all need to take a very good read of Zachariah chapter
-
five, because there she is. She is being kept in stasis in what
-
you know in an ephas some translation state this is the harld of revelation.
-
Yeah is, yes it is. While we're down to the closing comment,
-
so jose your thoughts about time is time so chronal? Absolutely, Matthew,
-
it absolutely is. And when I was reading through this, I kept being
-
reminded of Genesis fourteen, where you have the kings of the Northern Kings coming
-
down and attacking the Southern kings. Right, the Southern Kings can't wis down
-
the Northern Kings, and what happens a third party has to come in to
-
resolve issues, and that third party is Abraham. And where does he end
-
up after all those events? But in Jerusalem, Amen, he winds up
-
facing the King of Righteousness. Amen, Amen, Amen, the King of
-
Salem, which means the King of peace. Correct, Yes it does.
-
Is this not what he Bruce tells us, Yes it does. So this
-
is a little more than off the hook that maybe somebody should have realized that
-
there's a person over the coalition from the north and those kings, and there
-
was also a prominent king in the King of the South, right Jose.
-
Amen, Amen, Matthew, and the Promise himself was the third party that
-
come in and wiped them out. Amen. Amen. Do you not realize,
-
Jose, that you could read Daniel chapter eleven and back it off of
-
Genesis chapter fourteen. Oh yes you can, Oh yes you can. Good
-
stuff. My final and closing comment is this, you and I are subject
-
to time. Literally, what I have spoken in this program has been done
-
in the past. What I'm speaking right now is in the present. And
-
the final thing that I do say before we close, that's in the future.
-
God is not like that. When God, God speaks, it's true,
-
not all the time. It's true from the beginning to the end.
-
Because he knows the end from the beginning. He speaks irregardless of tints.
-
When he says it. It's true. When he says it, it's true.
-
Time is is to chronal read the book of Ecclesiastes. He says it
-
more than once that time is cyclical. Time is like a spiral staircase.
-
And if you stand on the top of the spiral stairclat case and look down,
-
if there's twelve steps on each level, it's just like a clock.
-
That's what time is. That's what God says. You can like it,
-
or you can reject the words of the Lord Jesus Christ himself in Matthew chapter
-
twenty four, verse fear fifteen, pertaining the Daniel chapter eleven. If you
-
reject isochrono lezkatology, you're rejecting the words of Christ and of he who set
-
us upon the throne. Jose, please pray us out of here, all
-
right. Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for allowing us the time and
-
the ability to share your word with the Ecclesia. Father, I asked that
-
as we face troubles that may come, tribulations that come, that you remind
-
us, Lord, that man does not live by bread alone, but by
-
your work. Father, remind us that just as you take care of the
-
flowers of the field. And you take care of your creation, you will
-
also take care of us, and you will prepare us for what is to
-
come. Lord, I just ask for the strength to endure the coming troubles,
-
and I ask for the wisdom to help and find those lost sheep.
-
And we asked this in the name of your son, our Lord and Savior,
-
Jesus Christ. Amen, Amen and Amen. Until next time, ladies
-
