  1. Do you know the Bible is God's Holy Word? Do you know it is

  2. inspired, in errant, and infallible? If so, like, share,

  3. subscribe and support this podcast. So we are Maranatha Ministries and now Reduction Draweth

  4. Nigh. Welcome, Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to the program. I am

  5. your host, Matthew. Tonight, we have a special guest and his name

  6. is Joshua Dobbs. The ministry that he is a part of is Truth in

  7. Christ. This is how I stumbled across him in my research to maybe start

  8. doing TikTok. I wanted to look around and see, you know, what

  9. was going on, and I found Joshua. So, Joshua, why don't

  10. you just give us a thumbnail sketch of what it is you do well.

  11. I run a personal ministry here at home, but also preaching at church.

  12. I also have a YouTube channel, TikTok channel, do a lot of things

  13. online trying to correct things that people misunderstand about scripture. Of course, we've

  14. been focused on eschatology more here lately because there's a big, a big desire

  15. for eschatology, there's a hunger for it. I've noticed that a lot of

  16. people are starting to notice that there are things that many preachers out there are

  17. teaching that simply isn't true when they start looking at the scripture for themselves.

  18. Of course, this kind of actually started for me online because you know,

  19. there are a point where they were closing down churches, not allowing people to

  20. go to church. So to stay in contact with my church, I started

  21. doing messages online so they could still hear the word of God, and it

  22. just kind of grew from there, started gaining subscribers. Didn't really expect it

  23. to go anywhere, and then God blessed it and it is reaching out to

  24. more and more people. So the reason why we're having you on today is

  25. because you have a very I don't want to say unique, but it is

  26. in that your biblical prophecy model is what you can get from the plain reading

  27. of the text, and that is a post trib pre millennial model. Yes,

  28. so can you describe first how you got to that conclusion that that was

  29. the correct model. Well, like, it was just the plain reading of

  30. the text. As far as the word rapture, I didn't even understand what

  31. the word rapture was. I just saw the second Coming of Christ and that

  32. the church would be gathered to him when he returned. And then you know,

  33. as you start getting into church, because I started reading the Bible before

  34. even got into church, and then God pulled me into church and he saved

  35. my soul. But I just kept with this research of just reading the Bible.

  36. And what I noticed is that in many of these denominational churches and among

  37. many ministers out there was to keep talking about the rapture and pre tribulation rapture,

  38. and what they were telling me just did not add up with what I

  39. read. And that's sort of just where I stayed was with the text,

  40. not with the teaching, not with narratives. Because if you noticed a lot

  41. lot of times, and I've talked about this on my channel, is that

  42. a lot of people will indoctrinate you with the narrative and then they might cite

  43. a scripture, may not even read the scripture, but cite the scripture as

  44. if somehow it's supported the position. So if you look at you know,

  45. one Corinthians fifteenth chapter where it talks about that we are transformed to the twinkling

  46. of an eye, they'll say, well, that's an invisible return of Christ,

  47. and that we will just disappear. But that's not what it says.

  48. It actually just says that you will be transformed in the twinkling of an eye.

  49. So I started looking at the methods that teachers were using, and that's

  50. actually what I will not incorporate into my ministry now. If you know,

  51. it's like, I do a lot of reading of text on my channel because

  52. I want people to actually see the text, read the text, hear the

  53. text and see that this is what scripture actually it says, and not a

  54. narrative. Well, that's the most effective way to do it. I have

  55. come to find out in the thirteen years of this ministry is that if you

  56. give people the Bible, God's Holy Word, you give them that you really

  57. don't need much more. It will have a mass effect on them if they

  58. will just read it. Now, that's the main problem with the church today

  59. is that people will not read it, they will not get familiar with the

  60. text, they won't even listen to it. Now, I like to listen

  61. to it on audio Bible. I mean I spend four hours per day in

  62. God's Word, whether that's in the text itself or when I'm driving. You

  63. can take this to the bank. The Millers don't listen to the radio.

  64. We have the Bible on MP three and that's what we listen to when we're

  65. when we're going somewhere. So I've found that to be the most effective.

  66. But you know, let's concentrate on this. You mentioned First Corinthians chapter fifteen.

  67. Now, the one thing that really blows my mind away is when you

  68. put it to these people who are rapturos and you say, okay, so

  69. when is the resurrection? Because First Corinthians chapter fifteen is quite clear that the

  70. resurrection takes first. Then we who are alive and are remained go through this

  71. change that you're talking about. That's when we get changed after the resurrection.

  72. And you're reading from the text, when does the resurrection happen? And it's

  73. when Christ returns. I think what's interesting is when you also, of course,

  74. later I started diving into biblical languages, and you always find there's this

  75. Greek word perusia. When you look up the definition of perusia, it is

  76. a visible return. It's not an invisible They say you can't see him when

  77. he comes to gather the church, gather together the elect They say, this

  78. happens before the tribulation and that he is invisible, that this is a secret,

  79. invisible coming of Christ. But that's not how the Greek even reads.

  80. It reads that he will return and appear visibly. Well, that's one of

  81. the major problems they have with this is that not in Jeremiah, not in

  82. Daniel, not in Zachariah, there is never any receipt, any secret return,

  83. not ever. It's it's it's it's very visible, and it's very impactful

  84. on creation itself. It's of high impact when it happens. Well, now

  85. you mentioned Daniel twelve, and you know or mentioned Daniel, But in Daniel

  86. twelve, very clearly the resurrection does not happen before the tribune. You know,

  87. it is actually after the tribulation that there is a resurrection in Daniel twelve.

  88. You know now that you've breached that topic, now that you've gone down

  89. to the specific chapter. This is not the only time this is said,

  90. right, this is said many times in scripture. And this is what the

  91. problem is. And I really enjoyed this, this TikTok that I watched of

  92. you. This this uh, this paradigm that is mentioned in Thessalonians, because

  93. it kind of describes the same exact thing, right right, Well, yeah,

  94. Second, Thessalonians, their first chapter is very clear that it's in what

  95. Paul does, and this is something that pre tribulation rapture teachers and many of

  96. the believers. They struggle with that, and many of them, after having

  97. it explained to them, refused to accept. Paul takes the situation and the

  98. problems of the Church of Leslonaika that they were being persecuted, that they were

  99. facing, and he called it tribulation. But also what's interesting is that they

  100. endured it with patience and faith. Well, Apostle John in the Book of

  101. Revelation. John in Revelation, what does he say. He talks about the

  102. patience and the faith of the saints. When he talks about this topic in

  103. Revelation, what is interesting is that he pronounces that God is going to punish

  104. the wicked that persecuted the church. Those who will take people into captivity will

  105. be took into captivity. He also promises to throw them into the lake of

  106. fire. And then you take that back to Paul when he talks about the

  107. church, you know, enduring it with patience and faith, just like you

  108. read in the Book of Revelation, he promises. And this is the interesting

  109. thing. God makes this problem that those who trouble the church, God will

  110. recompense or reward those people with tribulation. And now this all when you read

  111. this chapter, it leads into the second coming of Christ when he returns with

  112. his angels. So this isn't a secret coming. This is the second coming

  113. of Jesus Christ. And he is promising the saints that have been persecuted,

  114. that have been troubled by the wicked, that God will reward tribulation on those

  115. people. And so then you have to look at what does this mean for

  116. the tribulation. Well, the tribulation is just simply God looking at the persecution

  117. of the church and rewarding those who persecute the church with tribulation. So God's

  118. reaction to the persecution is the tribulation. That's how Paul is defining the tribulation.

  119. Well, the problem with that is is that when we go to Matthew

  120. chapter twenty four, verse nine, we have this straight from the Messiah's mouth.

  121. I mean, this is straight from his mouth. Then they will deliver

  122. you up to tribulation, Yes, put you to death, and you will

  123. be hated by all nations for my namesake, and then many will fall away

  124. and betray one another and hate one another, and YadA, YadA, YadA

  125. YadA. Yes, this is saying emphatically that we will go through persecution.

  126. However, it does not say we're going to go through any judgments exactly.

  127. That is. That's what I'm saying, is God's response to the persecution.

  128. The pre tribulation rapture teachers, they give this, I guess backwards view of

  129. what the plagues are, the plagues according to pre tribulation rapture teachers. And

  130. I will tell you something also, when you confront them with this, you'll

  131. be You'll see how quickly many of them will change course and claim that's not

  132. what I teach or that's not what I believe. They abandon. Many of

  133. them will abandon their beliefs quickly. But the standard model, and you'll hear

  134. this all over social media. You'll hear this out of the mouth of many

  135. people who believe in pre tribulation rapture, is that the plagues not only punish

  136. the wicked and the ungodly, and the beast and his kingdom, but it

  137. will also punish the tribulation saints. This fictitious group that they have designed to

  138. try and get around the scriptures. That says that the beast, and this

  139. is the funny part is the Beast is going to make war with the Saints

  140. and overcome them. And that is just that's ripped right out of the Book

  141. of Daniel, because Daniel says the same thing is that the little horn is

  142. going to make war with the Saints. It also says that he will wear

  143. out the Saints. So when they see that the Saints is being persecutable,

  144. they said this, this is a separate group. This is completely different.

  145. This isn't the church. These are the people that are left behind, because

  146. the Church has already been departed. But their point is is they're saying that

  147. the plagues will punish the people who were left behind. And that's of course

  148. also what they use to scare people into believing their doctrine, because if you

  149. don't believe in pre tribulation rapture, according to many of the teachers, well

  150. you're going to be left behind and God is going to pour out his wrath

  151. on you. Then this makes survivability reduced to zero because if you have the

  152. beast and the fallen angels killing you and harassing you, and you have God

  153. himself harassing you and killing you. You can't catch that in some game.

  154. That is an in some game. And that is the one of the biggest

  155. problems with their doctrine is the simple fact that you've got it coming from all

  156. sides. How is there going to be anybody left for the first resurrection,

  157. Because according to them, the first resurrection is a second Depending on which teacher

  158. you listen to, they'll say that the first resurrection is a two part resurrection

  159. or a three part resurrection, depending on which teacher you listen to. But

  160. so in their system of theology, well, there wouldn't be anybody left for

  161. that resurrection mentioned in Revelation the twentieth chapter. And also there's not but one

  162. coming of Christ after the first Advent. There isn't another coming mentioned in scripture.

  163. So the only way that you can look at this when it says this

  164. is the first Resurrection and Revelation of the twentieth chapter, this is at the

  165. end of the tribulation, the beast is feed, Jesus Christ has claimed absolute

  166. victory. We're ready for the millennial reign. You can't say that there is

  167. another resurrection that happens prior to it, because then this isn't really the first

  168. resurrection. And herein lies the problem is that the Bible calls it not the

  169. third rate, it calls it the first. It doesn't just say it's the

  170. first resurrection. So you would think that that would be the monkey wrench in

  171. the works. I mean, you'd think that would completely get people thinking along

  172. different lines. But they they capitalize on their ability to confuse, and once

  173. they confuse people, then they can get them to believe anything. Well,

  174. and I kind of digressed a little bit, but going back to your the

  175. point that you were talking about these plagues, if you really look at scripture,

  176. you're going to be hard pressed to find a scripture that actually says these

  177. plagues target the saints that are alive during the tribulation. Now you're going to

  178. find scripture that says these plagues target people who persecute the prophets and the saints.

  179. It says that it's the righteous judgment of God to give those people blood

  180. to drink, and the reason why he's giving them blood to drink is because

  181. they shed the blood of the prophets and saints. That is God doing exactly

  182. what Paul said, in the paradigm, he is rewarding tribulation on those that

  183. trouble the church. Now here's the interesting part. The Greek word, if

  184. you go back to it, you know, phillipsis is the word for tribulation.

  185. There is a word when it says those that trouble you, and that's

  186. I'm read. Of course, this is from the King James version Bible,

  187. those that trouble you. If you actually look at that in the Greek it

  188. is actually saying that those who put you through tribulation are those who tribulate you.

  189. So it's actually telling us that God is again rewarding those who put the

  190. Church through tribulation with their own tribulation. But that is what Revelation is telling

  191. us with the plagues, is that it is and it is indeed targeting the

  192. ungodly. It's targeting the beast, it's targeting his kingdom, it's targeting the

  193. wicked, it is targeting those who persecute the church. But it also says

  194. that those people do not repent of their deeds, and that becomes another problem

  195. for pretribulation rapture because according to them, well, these plagues are going to

  196. pressure people into believing. It does not say that. It says they will

  197. not repent of their deeds. But the plagues do not target the godly.

  198. It only targets the godly. And if you actually read Revelation of the eighth

  199. chapter, are you're just gonna say something, I'll let you go ahead.

  200. Well, this is exactly what it says repeatedly. I mean, let's go

  201. to the fifth trumpet. Looking here at Revelation chapter nine. Okay, the

  202. fifth the fifth trumpet blows and smoke comes out of the shaft of the abyss,

  203. and these locusts come upon the earth. And verse four, these these

  204. these scorpions, with the power of locusts. They were told not to harm

  205. the grass of the earth or any green plant or tree, but only those

  206. who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. Exactly, there's

  207. there's there's no target. You'll not find it. Throughout all of Revelation.

  208. You will not find that the plagues target the righteous. Does not persecute the

  209. saints in any way. God does not harass or destroy the saints in any

  210. way with his plagues. That is a fabrication of precribulation rapture. Now,

  211. if you could would you agree with me, brother that if you cannot find

  212. it in the Bible, it's not true teaching. That's right. If if

  213. you cannot baseline it with a chapter in verse, it does not exist.

  214. It just simply doesn't exist. And you know that's my first problem I have

  215. with this, this pre tribulation. I guess partial return of Christ, it

  216. doesn't exist. It never existed. God is very clear that when he comes,

  217. he crashes our party, and there's no there would be no one that

  218. would have the ability to hide that event, right, It's it's literally paradigm

  219. shifting. So you know, this is one of the things that that's always

  220. really bothered me with the prophets in the Old Testament, that book, Yeah,

  221. go ahead, that specifically we were told by the minor prophets that there

  222. is no secret God will tell everything to his servants, the prophets, So

  223. I don't understand what ground they have to stand on saying that this is a

  224. secret event. Well, does it not say that the mysteries of God will

  225. be revealed at the last trumpet as a mighty effact? It does, okay,

  226. And then when does he return, it's the sound of the last trumpet

  227. and that's when he gathers the church. So in order for all the mysteries

  228. of God to be revealed, you can't have an invisible because they get this

  229. is another thing. They create a fictitious set of trumpets. So the trumpets

  230. that you're reading about in the Book of Revelation will say, this is not

  231. the trumpets that's being mentioned about. The last trumpet, And then you look

  232. at the saints will say, well, these are not the same saints.

  233. That's kind of their default answer. It's not the same, it says the

  234. last trumpet. Will it's not the same last trumpet in the Book of Revelation.

  235. When you say it says the saints, well it's not the same saints

  236. as the church. That kind of becomes a default answer for them on a

  237. great many of things. I mean, if you really pay attention to their

  238. method of interpretation. Okay, Matthew, the twenty fourth chapter, there's a

  239. time step, and when the Lord returns with his angels and the elect is

  240. gathered together, Well, that's not the same elect And this is supposed to

  241. be immediately after the tribulation. Every time it's not the same. It's not

  242. the same elect it's not the same saints. It's not the same trumpets?

  243. When is it the same? And it's because they're trying to explain a relay

  244. scripture that explicitly states exactly the opposite of what they're teaching. Because they can't

  245. prove that God is going to persecute the tribulation saints with the plagues. They

  246. can't prove that there is a secret coming of Christ or an invisible coming of

  247. Christ. They can't prove it. But there's tons of scripture that contradicts everything

  248. that they say. And then there is a saltage. Oh you just you're

  249. just not rightly dividing the word. Brother, Well, we need to get

  250. to the core as to why they do this. Why do they do this?

  251. Have you figured this out? Uh? And I hate to be this

  252. person, but let's let's just face it. Post tribulation rapture does not sell

  253. books. Now, there are many and I want to be as generous to

  254. many people out there because I believe there are sincere pretribulation raptor teachers. I

  255. just believe they are deceived on this topic. Many many good people out there.

  256. Uh. And I don't want to go around I'm calling everybody a heretic

  257. and having a nasty attitude about it. But they are wrong on this topic.

  258. But for many people who are really pushing it. And you've got to

  259. understand, the lay ministry gets their message from somewhere, They learn from somebody.

  260. Not everybody came like me into it just by reading the Word of God.

  261. Many people got converted and then got indoctrinated. And it's kind of like,

  262. Okay, and I don't know if you've watched this video or not,

  263. but if I tell you eight plus five equals twelve, what's five plus eight?

  264. What's the answer people are going to repeat to you? Well, I

  265. know the answer that I will repeat you, but because it's not going to

  266. be that you know, I'm sorry, but twelve is not present in that

  267. question, right, But what's most people going to tell you when they have

  268. to make that split decision. They're going to be twelve. They're going to

  269. repeat twelve. I've actually tried this on people you know before, and you

  270. can tell who the analytical thinker is and who isn't the analytical thinker. But

  271. a lot of people will tell it will repeat twelve and for that instance,

  272. and I'll tell them, well, I actually did not give you the right

  273. answer. You're just repeating what I'm telling you to believe. For that instance,

  274. they were indoctrinated to believe that eight and five makes twelve instead of thirteen.

  275. And so that's kind of the method if you can present the narrative and

  276. indoctrinate them and then claim that the facts that eight and five together will equal

  277. the outcome. But I've already gave you the outcome. I've already told you

  278. the outcome. I want you to believe in all reality, the facts that

  279. I'm telling you don't result in the answer I'm giving you. And that is

  280. the method that many people are using. But again it is for many people,

  281. the guys at the top. It sells books, it makes money,

  282. it makes movies. Post tribulation, rapture goes against the flesh. It's not

  283. the easy way out, and that's unfortunately a lot of people. They choose

  284. their doctrines based on what's easy on the flesh. Well, this brings me

  285. to a very particular question about that. So that being said, at what

  286. point do you think that the Christians will realize they're actually in the tribulation when

  287. the seals have actually begun to be broken. At what point do you think

  288. everybody's going to figure that out. Well, Jesus told us when we see

  289. the abomination of desolation standing in the Holy Place. I believe that's when a

  290. lot of people are going to realize because we've been had because both Paul.

  291. Paul tells us that again in Second Thessalonians, and that's in the second chapter.

  292. And just to be clear to people out there, you interpret the first

  293. chapter based or you interpret the second chapter based on the first chapter. The

  294. first chapter is the setup for the second chapter. But in the second chapter,

  295. it tells us about this anti Christ, this man of sin, standing

  296. in the Holy Place to show himself that he's God. Well about the time

  297. that people are worshiping him and his image is when he rules for forty two

  298. months. And that's what Jesus makes clear, is when you see the abomination

  299. of desolation standing in the Holy place, let him who reads understand and it's

  300. talking about you know what season you're in. When you see the abomination of

  301. desolation, that's when everybody's going to realize, Oh no, this isn't what

  302. I've been taught. And it makes me ask the question, and I wonder

  303. how many people will actually, you know, after being lied to or receiving

  304. a false teaching like that, and not prepared, spiritually prepared, mentally prepared,

  305. physically prepared. How many people will take the mark or will worship him.

  306. You don't even have to take the mark. It just says even if

  307. you worship him, you're going to the lake of fire. If you worship

  308. him his image, or take the mark, any of those things will send

  309. you to the lake of fire. But how many people will not be strong

  310. enough to resist because they've been told, well, you're not going to be

  311. the one being beheaded for this. It's a completely different group, and that

  312. leaves them unprepared. You know, it seems like to me that this event

  313. horizon. And by the way, you did answer the question correctly. I've

  314. asked that question to many people, and all of them give all kinds of

  315. crazy answers except what Jesus said. They'll give all kinds of crazy things except

  316. what Jesus said that the event horizon you're going to know is when the abomination

  317. of desolation takes place. And they're so they call themselves Christians, and they

  318. say that they believe the Bible, but they're so far disconnected from that reality.

  319. It's astonishing. Well, there was a Christian comedian that made a joke

  320. about seminary school says, you know, you'll learn a lot of things that's

  321. not in the Bible and seminary school and I believe it. I believe that's

  322. a lot of times people go to And I'm not bashing people for furthering their

  323. education or anything like that, but you have to fact check what you're being

  324. taught. I mean, the Brians received, they listened to Paul's message,

  325. and they were glad of his message. They liked his message, but they

  326. still went back and they searched the scriptures. And Luke said that those people

  327. were more notable, more noble than the Thessalonians because the Boreans were actually going

  328. back to the scripture with what Paul taught. Paul didn't get offended. And

  329. this is unfortunately, when someone cannot back their teaching with scripture, you find

  330. the law of these teachers get very offended. And that's what I'm hearing from

  331. people who are leaving pre tribulation rapture. There is an exodus right now from

  332. pre tribulation rapture, and all the other different views right now are rubbing their

  333. hands together and they're licking their chops because dispensationalism is dying a death of a

  334. thousand cuts. They're the majority right now. But I really think that God

  335. is sending his truth out into the world, and I'm watching people defect,

  336. but I'm also watching the dispensational pre tribulation rapture teachers fight as hard as they

  337. can to hold on to people and to bully them or do whatever it takes

  338. to keep them in that belief. But people are starting to read the scripture

  339. for themselves because the scripture is very clear there is not this promise of a

  340. pre tribulation rapture. Well, there's not a promise of a partial return of

  341. Christ. There is no promise of that, and those are hollow words,

  342. yes, But here's something also, I think that pre tribulation rapture teachers and

  343. believers are not looking at. That's in Revelation the eighth chapter, which is

  344. one of the premises that I've been facing, I mean through scripture, the

  345. treatment of the saints who lived through the tribulation. On Revelation the eighth chapter

  346. is very clear about something is that the plagues do not start until the prayers

  347. of the saints are offered up to God. It says that the angels prepare

  348. themselves to sound the trumps, but they do not sound the trump. It's

  349. until the prayers of these saints is being offered up. Now. According to

  350. pre tribulation rapture teaching, the church isn't mentioned after Revelation the third chapter by

  351. name, which technically isn't true. Towards the lighter part of the Book of

  352. Revelation that the word church is used again. But I know what they mean.

  353. They're trying to say that through the eschological prophecy of the tribulation itself,

  354. the Church isn't mentioned by the term saint. However, the prayers of these

  355. saints, these so called tribulation saints, go up before the plagues even commenced,

  356. which then makes the question what are they praying for? Please God take

  357. my life through these plagues. Well, persecute me with these plagues, Please

  358. God punish me with these pigs. What are these people praying for? And

  359. why is God, according to their model, punishing them for praying and repenting.

  360. Well, we have a real problem here with logistics, because if you're

  361. already up there, if you're already in heaven. You've been raptured out uh

  362. tree trib So how high does their prayers have to go? Because they should

  363. be they should actually those prayers should actually travel horizontally over to the throne,

  364. not up to the throne I mean, is that just me or not?

  365. Well, that's because their teaching is that the saints, the term saints does

  366. not mean the church. These are the left behind saints according to them.

  367. But then again, what okay, what depiction of God do we have now

  368. by their model? If the prayers of these saints that are going to be

  369. destroyed by these plagues, they're going to be harassed, persecuted, named,

  370. starved to death by these plagues. Right, So what kind of God do

  371. we have in their model when they pray to him and then he starts destroying

  372. them, and then they tell us we pervert the the character of God.

  373. Well, at least in our model we have by scripture based in scripture,

  374. God responds to our troubles and our tribulation by rewarding those who hurt us,

  375. who trouble us with tribulation. The plagues is God's vengeance against those who trouble

  376. the church. So God is protecting us. God has taken care of us.

  377. It's just like in the days of Elijah. You and I have you

  378. know, talked about this already. Elijah, he may have been inconvenienced by

  379. the drought that was a part of his ministry, but God did not suffer

  380. him to be destroyed by the drought that was a part of his ministry.

  381. And on top of that, you know, once Elijah was fed up,

  382. you know, he runs out and he runs out into the wilderness to die

  383. and lo and behold, God's says, by the way, there's seven thousand

  384. other people that were not tribulated by this drought for three and a half years,

  385. Nor was the woman he was staying with. So you know, you

  386. can't say that will it was just Elijah and the woman that was spair.

  387. No, God himself says, there's seven thousand others that have not been to

  388. neither bail nor kissed him. So we got to I mean, there is

  389. no problem here. And you know we've already read from Revelation chapter nine.

  390. It was very clear it did not target God's people, right, nor would

  391. it target God's people. The only thing the Lord Jesus Christ said to expect

  392. was persecution. But this also comes back to the patients and the faith of

  393. the saints. You know, we talk about Elijah, he's done, he

  394. is mentally or out, he's physically wore out. You know, Jezebel's coming

  395. for him as far as he's concerned, because Jezebel is again persecuting the prophets,

  396. and this is a as we talked about, a three and a half

  397. year process. That's right, So they not see a correlation between the Book

  398. of Revelation in Elijah in his story. I'm sorry, I don't see how

  399. that's possible. I mean, because the New Testament twice twice it comes out

  400. and tells you it was exactly three years six months. There's no way you

  401. can separate these two timelines because it's there in the texting. Twice is twice,

  402. okay, So I don't see how they can do that. They can

  403. omit it. I mean, they can omit that simple fact that you don't

  404. put so you don't put two and two together. But we could definitely say

  405. that this ratio could apply to the church that even though Elijah was told by

  406. God himself, no, I've got seven thousand people in my back pocket during

  407. this time of the Great tribulation. God's going to have I would hope a

  408. whole lot more than that in his back pocket. And if Jezebel could not

  409. touch Elijah, no more importantly, if Jezebel could not touch the zerapath woman,

  410. you can take this to the bank. No one is going to lay

  411. one rotten finger on you. Not the devil, not the beast from the

  412. Abyss, not the beast from the earth, the false prophet, whatever name

  413. you can come up with, They're not going to be able to lay one

  414. stinking finger on you. And that is if you still have a mission or

  415. a calling in life, like Elijah had. God wasn't done with Elijah.

  416. He had more plans for him. And again Elijah was tired, he was

  417. exhausted. He's being hunted by Jezebel. They're going through this drought. He's

  418. surviving off of food brought to him by a raven and he's just please,

  419. God, just take my life. We go back to the patience and the

  420. faith of the saints. That's the reason why the Book of Revelation is telling

  421. us to have patience, to have faith, not that God is going to

  422. persecute us with plagues, but to have patience and faith that the people who

  423. are giving us all these problems, God is going to take care of them.

  424. And it's just it's astounding that that is so highly overlooked. This message

  425. of God is going to take care of you. If people are coming against

  426. the Church, people are coming against you, God is going to to do

  427. something about it. And those things might inconvenience you a little bit. It

  428. inconvenienced Elijah, but it did not take him out of this world. Well,

  429. I like to look at this through the lens of Psalm ninety one.

  430. Now we understand that that Psalm says that you know that the angels will make

  431. sure that we're protected. Right, Well, isn't that exactly what First King's

  432. chapter nineteen says. Twice, And I'll read reading from First King's chapter nineteen.

  433. And he laid down and slept under a broom tree, and behold,

  434. an angel touched him and said to him, arise and eat. And he

  435. looked, and behold there was at his head a cake of bread on hot

  436. stones, and a jar of water. And he ate and drank and lay

  437. down again. And the Angel of the Lord came again the second time and

  438. touched him and said, oh, right and eat, for the journey is

  439. too great for you. Here's the punchline, verse eight. And he arose

  440. and ate and drank and went in the strength of that food forty days and

  441. forty nights to form the amount of God. So should we have unequivocably that

  442. Psalm ninety one came true for Elijah. You can't deny that Psalm ninety one

  443. did come true for Elijah. And you can take this to the bank.

  444. God's going to have a whole lot more than seven thousand people in his back

  445. pocket. And let's also look at this way in the paradigm. After that

  446. three and a half years, what happened to all the enemies of God?

  447. He took care of every one of them, from Jezebel to a half to

  448. the prophets of Beil. God took away all of them. That's right.

  449. But it wasn't before. It was after. It was after, Yes,

  450. it was after. And you have a time frame here. We know for

  451. certain that there's going to be involvement in that last portion of time of that

  452. one thousand sixty days, whether it's longer than forty days, I'm sure that

  453. you and I would hope it's longer than forty days. But you can take

  454. this to the bank when you're at the end of your rope. Psalm ninety

  455. one will be answered for you by God himself. Yes, and of course

  456. I know, you know a lot of pre trips are gonna rebuttal and say,

  457. but people were being beheaded again. That comes down to if you still

  458. have a mission, If you have there's some reason God wants you around.

  459. The enemy cannot take you down. You know there's going to be and sometimes

  460. some people's death, let's look at the death of Jesus has a purpose and

  461. that could be it could change somebody's mind, It could turn somebody around.

  462. See the unjust persecution of good people that never done them wrong. Maybe they

  463. didn't take the mark of the Beast, didn't worship the beast, didn't worship

  464. his image. They know there's something shady about this guy. But they start

  465. seeing Christians being destroyed. That's going to turn those people around. And that's

  466. actually when Christianity becomes its strongest. It's under persecution. That's when you gain.

  467. Actually a lot of your converts is under persecution right now. We kind

  468. of especially here in America, we have such a soft, easy living.

  469. Persecution for us is just somebody calling us a name, I mean, and

  470. someone will call them a name, and somebody expects a martyr's crown for being

  471. called a name. You don't understand what the people in the first century dealt

  472. with with. You understand what the people and the Old Testament dealt with And

  473. this is this is something that we've become, so we've become so soft in

  474. our spiritual lives here in this country that we cannot fathom the idea that bad

  475. things happen to good people, or can happen to good people. But you

  476. know, absolutely, I agree, absolutely, I agree, and it's it's

  477. it's very bothersome to me that for some reason in this day and time that

  478. Christians are not being taught what the Greek word for witnesses. And I'm sorry

  479. to rent on everybody's party. It's the word for martyr, the word for

  480. witness, it's the work for martyr and Greek. And there is no reason

  481. for us to be afraid that God is going to in any way, shape

  482. or form, arget his own bride. That's just not going to happen,

  483. right, all right, Joshua's your what's your closing comments? Well, I

  484. guess would be to reach out to people who are disagreeing with us. I

  485. hope they will watch this video and it gives them something to look at.

  486. But read the Bible for yourself, don't base it on anybody's opinion. And

  487. I always tell people, even when they watch my videos and my teachings,

  488. whether it's a video or in person, when I preach, take the scriptures.

  489. Whatever someone's saying, be like a Brian. Take the scriptures, take

  490. what they've cited, read the full chapter, read the chapter before and after,

  491. even and put what they say to the test. That's the only way

  492. you're going to keep from being deceived. Because I worry about people's spiritual lives

  493. and people not willing to be prepared for hard times. Because hard times,

  494. whether we want them or not, they will come, and we need to

  495. be prepared, but not just in the physical, not just in this world.

  496. Spiritually, we need to prepare to have patience and to keep our faith

  497. in times of trouble. I think there's something that I would like to add

  498. to that. You know, read the chapter before, read the chapter after,

  499. put the verses to the test. But most importantly, I think is

  500. to put them in context. Yes, yes, well, if you read

  501. the if you're reading the entire chapters, it makes it easier to put it

  502. into context. Far too often people just to isolate versus in and you and

  503. I both know sometimes we have to just cite the verse and move on when

  504. you're teaching something for the sake of time. But we should present those verses

  505. in context. But it is also up to the audience to take that scripture

  506. and go back and read the chapter to make sure that we are presenting it

  507. in that context. Amen to that. Amen to that. Well, share
