  1. Do you know the Bible is God's Holy Word? Do you know it is

  2. inspired, in errant, and infallible? If so, like, share,

  3. subscribe and support this podcast. So we are mere Natho Ministries and now Reduction

  4. draweth Nigh. Welcome, Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to the program. We

  5. are your host, Mariah and Matthew. Tonight we're getting back to the fundamentals.

  6. Tonight's topic is hope, because this very disturbing verse in First Corinthians,

  7. chapter thirteen, Verse thirteen states it very very painfully and very plainly. It

  8. just makes it perfectly clear that the fundamentals of Christianity is a whole lot well

  9. different than what everybody presupposes because that versus Now, faith, hope, and

  10. love abide these three. But the greatest of these is love. So states

  11. the English Standard version. This thought process caught me by complete surprise. But

  12. yet it's there, and it's in your faith Christians, Hope, faith,

  13. and love. And if you don't do those three things, you are fundamentally

  14. not what you say you are. So ryan you're opening comments on hope.

  15. Well, I don't know. I guess I'll just start by saying, what

  16. are we without hope again. That was what we said last week. What

  17. are we without love? What are we without hope? And exactly we're like

  18. everybody else. Yeah, I mean you understand that everybody else don't believe that

  19. Jesus Christ is God the Son. They don't believe he read they they do

  20. not believe that they themselves even last eternally when they do, they think.

  21. You know, they've been taught via the education system that once you die,

  22. you just blink out. You're done. So they literally have no hope.

  23. This is what has created the apocalyptic suicide rate. We have a young people.

  24. That's what's done it. They have no hope. What what are we

  25. if we can't hope for Christ coming back? I mean that's our whole thing,

  26. right, you know, we hope in the return of Christ. Right,

  27. we like literally can't wait. We're so excited, Like I want Jesus

  28. to come back. Right because when Jesus comes back, he sets up the

  29. Garden of Eden as it was supposed to be ran. That's really where we're

  30. going. And this is going to take place for a thousand literal years.

  31. And take note, ladies and gentlemen, if you come from a church,

  32. that is all millennial. They don't believe in the millennial reign of Christ.

  33. That's just enough to just let me put it to you this way. Even

  34. the Muslims believe that Jesus is going to come back in the end times.

  35. So without this, you're not what you say you are. If you say

  36. there is no point when the Creator gets to have his creation the way he

  37. wanted it and designed it, you're something else. You're different than me,

  38. okay, because my entire will is bent on him having his will. And

  39. after a lifetime of Christianity, that will has naturally been bent straight. Because

  40. my carnal nature, I have it crooked. But as every day goes by,

  41. it gets straightened out more and more and comes in line with what his

  42. will was, which was the Garden of Eden. And these all millennials,

  43. Oh, they mash their teeth at that. They hate God, They hate

  44. his will, they hate what he wants. They hate that he's the creator

  45. and he's going to judge. They hate all of that. So a Christian

  46. is diametrically opposed to all their emotions, their lies, their deceit, their

  47. murders, their hortoms. Were separate from all that we have hope. They

  48. don't because we hope. That's right. We hope and something better that's right,

  49. and that better will be established for a thousand year iron fisted rule of

  50. the Lord Jesus Christ. Those that are innocent will not come under the subterfuge

  51. or the trials and tribulations anymore from the wicked that quite simply will not be

  52. tolerated. I have some verses and I want to start with first of the

  53. one is the one that you've put in the document. But I'm going to

  54. scroll down to the last few verses because those are the ones that hit home

  55. with me. For we know that the whole of creation groans and suffers the

  56. pains of childbirth together until now. And not only this, but also we

  57. ourselves, having the first fruits of the spirit, even we ourselves grown within

  58. ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body.

  59. For in hope we have been saved. But hope that is not seen

  60. is not hope, for who hopes and what he all already seas. But

  61. if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance, we way

  62. eagerly for it. That's literally what the entirety of this versus saying that's it

  63. right there, that's it, And it's literally saying that the entire creation grows

  64. to get from out from underneath the boot of the rule of the wicked.

  65. Okay, I mean, how many animals have gone, you know, extinct

  66. and we don't even know. Okay, how many beautiful pristine rainforest have been

  67. raped and literally made desolate entire rainforest? Okay, I mean we could go

  68. on. How many swamps, which is the lifeblood of creation itself, they

  69. produce so much oxygen. Okay, how many swamps have been drained? It

  70. just is enough to blow the mind. But I like these last persons where

  71. it's talking about in hope, we have been saved, right, First of

  72. all, that's the first thing it says, in hope we have been saved.

  73. But hope that is seen is not hope. So we can't hope in

  74. things that we can see. That's right, for who hopes and what he

  75. already sees. But if we hope for what we don't see, with perseverance,

  76. we wait eagerly for it, that's right. So how how can we

  77. be saved if we don't hope for the things we can't see? That is

  78. Jesus. That is Jesus. Yes, we have hope that Jesus is there

  79. with us. We have hope that Jesus is coming back. And therefore therefore

  80. we up Jesus into our hearts. Therefore we believe. Therefore we become Christians.

  81. I mean, what was the other verse that you said that literally?

  82. I mean, is can we believe without hope? No, that that's pointless.

  83. You have no hope. This is what the munda. You know,

  84. vast swaths of the church is doing right now. They claim to be Christians

  85. and they're doing Christianity, but they do not hope in the Lord Jesus Christ.

  86. I mean, that is enough to really rattle your cage when you're able

  87. to realize the extent that this goes on. Because most people that sit in

  88. the pew, they read their Bibles, right, yeah, and they completely

  89. read Revelation chapter twenty and come to the conclusion that the Creator is going to

  90. have it his way just like he wanted it in the Garden of Eden,

  91. and that's going to transpire on the earth. That's really going to happen.

  92. But you know, we need to come to grips with this that the Eastern

  93. and Oriental Orthodox Churches. They don't believe in the millennial ray of Christ.

  94. Roman Catholic Church doesn't. Do you know how many people you're talking about just

  95. right now, let's talk about the Protestant denominations that reject the millennial ring of

  96. Christ. They literally reject They don't think the hope. They don't think Christ

  97. is coming back. That's right, Lutheran, Reformed, Anglican, Methodist,

  98. and Messianic Jews. So what do they believe. They don't think Jesus is

  99. coming back. They think he's going to come back and immediately hand it over

  100. to God, and he's going to recreate the earth. They just literally remove

  101. the millennial ran of Christ. They think he's going to come back everybody and

  102. God the Father is going to recreate everything. They literally take Revelation chapter twenty

  103. and remove it from the text. They literally have no hope. They have

  104. literally a destroyed what the Bible calls the blessed hope. Okay, let's read

  105. Titus chapter two, verses eleven through fifteen, For the grace of God has

  106. appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly

  107. possessions and to live self controlled upright and godly lives in the present age,

  108. waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God

  109. and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself up for us to redeem us from

  110. all lawlessness and to purify for himself of people for his own possession who are

  111. zealous for good works. Declare these things exhort and rebute with all authority.

  112. Let no one disregards you. Period. At the end of the sentence,

  113. they have rejected this blessed hope. They're saying that, no, God don't

  114. get to have his own people here on earth to rule and reign over.

  115. They reject that and say we're all going to get out of jail free and

  116. go to heaven. Okay, this is loudly describing that the Lord Jesus Christ

  117. is going to rule and reign over righteous people, and that happens for a

  118. thousand years. They have rejected Titus chapter two, verse thirteen. They've rejected

  119. the blessed hope. This isn't any hope, Mariah, it is the blessed

  120. Oh yeah, is that enough to leave you stunned for a minute or what?

  121. Yeah? I guess, But like in my opinion, it's not just

  122. this one hope that that we're talking about here, it's hope in general.

  123. You know, well, yeah, because this is why there's also another special

  124. term you understand, the return and rule and rate of Christ. That's called

  125. the blessed hope. It's a very special hope. The New Testament also has

  126. another word for this. It's called the living hope. Okay, once you

  127. understand that, once you memorize verses like this, you'll begin to understand why

  128. they don't have any hope period. Blessed be the God and Father of our

  129. Lord Jesus Christ. According to his great mercy, he has caused us to

  130. be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the

  131. dead. So here is the problem, Mariah. This verse is saying that

  132. if you don't believe in the blessed hope, you don't have the living hope

  133. because you have not been born again, you do not have the dwelling of

  134. the Holy Spirit. Therefore you've hatered after the doctrines of demons. You understand.

  135. Let me read that verse again and understand. This is more true than

  136. the sky being blue. This is more true than water being wet. One

  137. Peter, Chapter one, verse three. Blessed be God and Father of our

  138. Lord Jesus Christ. According to his great mercy, he has caused us to

  139. be born again to a living oak through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the

  140. dead. They've not been born again. So all these church denominations that I

  141. talked about when we're talking most of the church Eastern and Oriental Orthodox, both

  142. of those Roman Catholicism, the Lutherans, the Reformed, the Anglican, the

  143. Methodist. I'm sorry, I have to disagree with you. I don't think

  144. that just because you haven't read that one part in the Bible, that you're

  145. not a Christian. I didn't say you weren't a Christian. I said you

  146. weren't born again. Yeah. I don't think that really, So how can

  147. you contradict this verse. I'm not contradicting the verse. I'm just saying that

  148. if if you haven't read that part of the Bible, and you don't know

  149. that part of the Bible, I don't think that looks town says the living

  150. hope that the Holy Spirit has. Whether you read it or not, is

  151. it regardless, doesn't matter if you read it if you don't have your living

  152. hope, it's because you're not born again. You don't have to read verse.

  153. What do you mean about how do you define living hope? What the

  154. verse said? You have been reborn through the resurrection of the Lord J's Christ.

  155. So they've gotten saved, they've been baptizing to the Lutheran Church, the

  156. Catholic Church, the Reformed Church. But they this verse is saying you have

  157. not been born again if you don't have that living hope, which is the

  158. blessed hope. Yeah, yes, yes, I know, you don't have

  159. to agree with me. Yes, it is true. So you're saying the

  160. hope that we've been saved, yes, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from

  161. the dead. Oh, there's a big difference from getting saved at the altar

  162. and being born again. Okay, I was just confused with what you're saying.

  163. No, I agree with you. Well, I'm glad you asked for

  164. clarification. Yeah, but when you realize how many churches this is affecting,

  165. it's it's worrisome. To say the least. You have to believe that you've

  166. been saved by the blood of Jesus Christ. You have to believe that he's

  167. been born again, and you have to believe that he can essentially raise you

  168. from the dead and cause you to be born again. If you can't have

  169. hope in that, you can't believe. But yet they say they do believe.

  170. Let me put it this way. If you can't have the hope that

  171. you can be saved, you can't be saved. Yes, that's true.

  172. That's true. And we both know that. You know. Well, let's

  173. read some more verses. We haven't read Romans chapter five one through five yet,

  174. have we. Okay, let me read that. Therefore, having been

  175. justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

  176. through whom we also have obtained our introduction by faith and to disgrace in which

  177. we stand, and we exult in Ah of the glory of God. And

  178. not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation

  179. brings perseverance and perseverance, proven character and proven character, hope, and hope

  180. does not disappoint because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts

  181. through the Holy Spirit, who was given to us. It's saying it here

  182. a different way. This is the dwelling of the Holy Spirit, and without

  183. it you've not been born again, Mariah. And without it, once again,

  184. I say what the earlier verse said. Without this, you've not been

  185. born again, and you have no hote. You're a dead issue. I

  186. mean, you can be a Catholic to the cows come home, you can

  187. be a Lutheran from cradle to grave, and if you've not been born again,

  188. John chapter three and first Peter chapter one, scream it out. I

  189. mean, is in this saying that the Holy Spirit will give us hope?

  190. Yes, yes, the only and this is part and parcel with with also

  191. the Bible saying that when the Holy Spirit comes, it will lead us into

  192. all truth and will show us what is to come. What is to come,

  193. Mariah, We've just been discussing him. What is the blessed hope,

  194. the rule and the reign of the Lord Jesus Christ on the earth, having

  195. set up a garden of Eden for a thousand years. And I don't know.

  196. I love the way it puts this. It says, and perseverance,

  197. proven character, and proven character hope. So if proven character causes hope,

  198. isn't hope? An article of proof is a proof that you have that proven

  199. character a man. Is it not proof that you know, if you go

  200. defire yourself with a prostitute, isn't that proof you are not a Christian?

  201. Okay, if you partake in and pay for any any way of doing this.

  202. This includes pornography. Right, So if you're viewing pornography on the web,

  203. okay, you are partaking with a Harley, right, doesn't matter if

  204. that Harlod is a male or female. You are not a Christian, Mariah.

  205. You do not have proven character instituted upon you through the power of the

  206. Holy Spirit, the dwelling of the Holy Spirit. So yes, everything that

  207. just came out of your mouth, that is true. That's true because that's

  208. what the Bible said. This is how you know someone who's been born again.

  209. I'll read it again. This is how you know somebody's been born again.

  210. And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing

  211. that tribulation brings perseverance and perseverance, proven character, and proven character. Hope.

  212. That's how you know when somebody's been born again, no matter what happens,

  213. no matter what they're faced with. I mean, how many times have

  214. this family been faced with things all of them. Okay, let's talk about

  215. this. What happened within weeks of you coming back home? We used to

  216. have three vehicles, right, Okay? Did we weep and well? And

  217. did we say God don't love us? And did we roll over and play

  218. dead? What happened? I'll tell you what happened? Nothing, nothing happened.

  219. And how many vehicles have we had since you've been born? Every one

  220. of them. You need to understand that every one of them we never sold,

  221. Mariah. They were junk so by the time that we had to get

  222. another vehicle, we had to call the junkyard to come get it. We've

  223. never sold one of our vehicles. That reminds me of another verse I put

  224. in here. Let me see how I can find it. Yeah, it's

  225. down there, I see it. Which is very troubling that you would include

  226. this one in here, but to go for it. All right, So

  227. I'm just going to go ahead and read the whole thing. Well, tell

  228. everybody what you're reading first, and reading Jeremiah chapter twenty nine, verses one

  229. through fourteen. Now, these are the words of the letter which Jeremiah the

  230. Prophet sent from Jerusalem to the rest of the elders. Of the exile,

  231. the priests, the prophets, and all the people whom nebecon Azer had taken

  232. into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon. This was after a king jess Andiah and

  233. the Queen Mother, the court officials, the princes of Judah and Jerusalem,

  234. the craftsmen and the smiths had departed from Jerusalem. The letter was sent by

  235. the hand of Alassa, the son of Shaffen, and Jamia, the son

  236. of Hilkiah, whom Zedekiah, king of Judah, sent to Babylon, to

  237. nebicon Azar, King of Babylon, saying, thus says the Lord of Hosts,

  238. the God of Israel, to all the exiles whom I have sent into

  239. exile. We'rem Jerusalem and Babylon. So this is to the people. This

  240. is to the people who are in exile, not you, actually, yeah,

  241. go ahead, build houses and live in them, and plant gardens and

  242. eat their produce. Take wives and become fathers of sons and daughters. And

  243. take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husband that they may

  244. bear sons and daughters and multiply there and do not decrease. Seek the welfare

  245. of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the

  246. Lord on its behalf or in its welfare. You will have welfare. For

  247. this, says the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel. Do not

  248. let your prophets, who are in your mints and your diviners deceive you,

  249. and do not listen to the dreams which they dream, for they prophise I

  250. false leave you in my name. I have not sent them to clear the

  251. Lord. For thus says the Lord. When seventy years have been completed for

  252. Babylon, I will visit you and fulfill my good word to you to bring

  253. you back to this place. For I know the plans I have for you

  254. to clear the Lord for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a

  255. future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray

  256. to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and

  257. find me. When you search for me with all your heart, I will

  258. be found by you, declares the Lord. And I will restore your fortunes

  259. and will gather you from all your nations and from all the places where I

  260. have driven you, declares the Lord. And I will bring you back to

  261. the place from where I sent you into exile? Is this chapter not commanding

  262. us to hope? Absolutely? And actually this is why only our prophecy model

  263. works because this includes the Great gathering, so we hold to a relocation prophecy

  264. model. This is true. This is why we hold to this because take

  265. note, this is exactly what's going to happen in the future. It literally

  266. states here that Okay, God himself will gather us from all the nations and

  267. from all the places where I have driven you, declares to the Lord,

  268. and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into

  269. exile. This is h Yeah, I don't I don't have any word for

  270. it, well except hope. Now, Uh, Mariah's flipping back and forth

  271. from the Bible. Well, I deleted the verse numbers and want to rear

  272. to the verses I highlighted. I don't know if you know which specific verses

  273. those are. Well, so I'm trying to find it in my Bible so

  274. I can refer to specific verses. I won't be easier if I just click

  275. on it. Right, I've got it right here. Oh do you,

  276. Jeremiah, what chapter you remember? You better remember build houses and live in

  277. them, which verses five five through eight. So these verses aren't just talking

  278. about a hope in the future coming back of Christ. That's right, that's

  279. you're absolutely right. We are too, Yeah, that we are to occupy

  280. all right. This is why the Lord Jesus Christ in the Garden of geth

  281. sevene. Okay, that's why he said he prayed to God the Father,

  282. do not take them out of the world, but keep them in the world.

  283. Okay. So there's no such false teaching as being raptured to heaven.

  284. That's not going to happen. We're not going to heaven. Jesus is coming

  285. to earth, okay, And that's what this relocation will facilitate. And all

  286. scriptures bear witness to the great gathering before the tribulation. But think about it

  287. this way. We are meant to hope in whatever we do, right,

  288. I mean right, God is commanding us to have hope now right now.

  289. He doesn't want us to just be, you know, wallowing in our misery

  290. and our self pity because the world is such a bad place. He wants

  291. us to build houses and live in them gardens and eat their produce, build

  292. families and multiply and seek the welfare of the city where we have been sent.

  293. And then and then after he gives us all these commits, we get

  294. further to the last few verses. That's what twelve eleven through fourteen he says,

  295. then you will call upon me and pray to me. So these verses

  296. he's expanding from the command of hope, and he's now he's going into the

  297. promise of hope and the virtue of hope. And he's saying, then,

  298. after you hope in all these things, after you've accepted me as being your

  299. savior and your shepherd and your shield, then you will call upon me and

  300. come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will

  301. seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart,

  302. and I will be found by you, declares the Lord. And I will

  303. restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the nations and all the places

  304. where I have driven you, declares the Lord. And I will bring you

  305. back to the place from where I sent you into exile. So once you

  306. give him that hope, then he's going to he's going to bring you under

  307. his wings. Right, And I just think that that verse in that passage

  308. is so precious. Well, it's very precious, because this is literally saying

  309. that when he says he will come to you, that's the dwelling of the

  310. spirit. You've been born again. Want steak, But how do you do

  311. it? You must seek him with all your heart. Once you seek him

  312. with all of your heart, that means you put your retirement aside. Yep.

  313. Okay, you know long because this is mainly what people worry about.

  314. Okay, ninety percent of the time they're worrying about how much their paycheck can

  315. go to savings for retirement. Okay, you put that in the garbage you

  316. start building up for the king. Take notes that it was amazing that you

  317. are commanded to bear children and train them up in the Lord. Right,

  318. and they're supposed to have children. You're supposed to be giving your sons and

  319. daughters you know, to each other us. This is removing nationality from the

  320. equation. Yep. Look. Romans chapters nine through eleven proves that the citizens

  321. of the Israeli Empire are not God's chosen people. You are. Christians are

  322. God's chosen people, and Christians are supposed to marry Christians, and Christians don't

  323. have any skin color yeah, Okay. We are a coat of many colors,

  324. so it really doesn't matter as long as you're yoke together with them through

  325. your hope in the Lord Jesus Christ. Yep. Okay, So this it

  326. just blows me a Wait that verse eleven comes right out and says it for

  327. I know the plans I have for you. These the work plan does not

  328. mean today. Plans are in the future, right, little plan. I

  329. think what he's talking about here, he's talking about your whole time, the

  330. entire timeline of Israel, God's chosen people. Those are Russian Christians, Polish

  331. Christians, American Indian Christians. Yeah. Yeah. And as Christians, we

  332. don't we don't worry about our mistakes we made in the past. I mean,

  333. that's something that's something that's brought up a lot in church and in worship

  334. songs, is we don't worry about what we did in the past. And

  335. one of the main reasons for that is because we know that God has a

  336. plan for us from beginning to end. He's got the whole story. And

  337. let's let's clarify past. Your past is before you were Christian. Okay,

  338. that's your past once you get saved you're in Israel, then it transfers to

  339. the future. So your past actions you did before the Lord Jesus Christ saved

  340. you, that's your past. Your future is in him. That is the

  341. blame, I said, Hope, that is the living. And I would

  342. like to point out something else about these same verses. Is this not describing

  343. the salvation plan? Is this not describing salvation when you call upon him and

  344. come and pray to him and listens to you, and you seek him and

  345. you find him when you search with all your heart. That's what I said.

  346. I just think I think that's amazing. I would like to back to

  347. the last last week when we were talking about how love is a fundamental to

  348. being saved. I think that it's with Hope. Well, well, I'm

  349. beginning to think that their event horizon is the same place exactly. It's it's

  350. that crisis moment whenever you cry out to God. I think I think we

  351. proved this existentially in the in the last episode, because that I think that's

  352. actually what's what he's saying that. Yeah, I think that to which you

  353. must have faith, hope, and love, or that's what he gives you

  354. upon salvation. I don't yeah, I think it's above our pay great,

  355. okay, because this much is true. How many people got saved before they

  356. understood that, you know, Genesis chapter one, Okay, But after they

  357. got saved they had to faith enough to read Genesis chapter one and say,

  358. yeah, I mean God's God. I mean, if he wanted to take

  359. the work that on the first day, if he wanted it to take a

  360. million years, he could have. But he didn't. He said he did

  361. it in one day. And he said it even further, he said,

  362. there is evening, there is morning one day. So this takes faith,

  363. right. Yeah, So I'm not so sure that you're giving you you are

  364. given faith, hope, and love upon being saved. I don't know.

  365. Yeah, I think it goes both ways. And you admitted that yourself that

  366. before you you were saved, you you you really weren't loving people too well,

  367. right, I didn't even understand. And I think it's the same with

  368. hope. Why why what I hope before I was saved? What's the point?

  369. You know? No, I guess I don't know. I think Christ

  370. gives us a different kind of boot. He he takes our book or any

  371. bitty or any bitty little children's book. He opens it up and he writes

  372. a whole new chapter, and that whole new chapter is like a whole leg

  373. style. Right. Well, I mean this is for sure, many many,

  374. many, many people have false hope. Okay, many people hope in

  375. the lottery, right, so they played the lot I mean I've known,

  376. I've worked with people that they would take like a hundred bucks out of every

  377. every single paycheck. And there were times where I was having to give them

  378. a ride because their vehicle broke down. I would have to be on pay

  379. day. They want to go take it to go get it, and I'm

  380. like, what are you doing? Then? So, yeah, you know,

  381. there's a lot of people that hope in the stock market, they hope

  382. in this, they hope in that, and then you know, along comes

  383. some airplanes and crashes into their system. But there's all kinds of people that

  384. how many people have faith in black magic? Let me tell you that's the

  385. wrong thing to have faith and open, but many do. I mean,

  386. you do know why that. I mean, there's not too many newspapers that

  387. actually get printed anymore. But you realize one of the main items in the

  388. newspaper is the horoscope, and they literally planned their day off that horse cope,

  389. and in that is there is no hope. There is only death.

  390. There's a reason why it's called black magic. Right. Well, I mean

  391. that's the thing. There you go again bringing up a good point. Uh,

  392. there's no hope in white magic, okay, And that's where a lot

  393. of people get fooled. They're like, why am I doing black magic?

  394. I'm only doing positive magic. Now you're gonna promptly burn in hell? Okay,

  395. that's that. That's what's happening. We don't need to say that about

  396. people we don't know. But yes, magic is very bad. It's not

  397. positive. It is not what deceived people think it is, right because they're

  398. deceived. It's not hope. The only place that we can find a real

  399. living hope is with God. And you can you can figure that out when

  400. you walk in any church to not be nation. When you talk to any

  401. real Christians, you will see their hope. So, you know, Mariah,

  402. you're bringing up a very painful point that you and I have been talking

  403. at length about here lately. You know, where is the main hope for

  404. today's generation actually being done? You think it's since you're at your normal brick

  405. and mortar church. Is that where salvation is taking place? Is people getting

  406. saved? There? No? Where is that actual? Where are there actually

  407. alter calls where people can go turn their lives over to the Lord. J's

  408. scratch, where's that happening? I mean you realize almost all the alters in

  409. the churches across this nation have been pulled out, that there are no alter

  410. calls anymore. Ye, I mean there is no one trying to proselyties the

  411. lost at the damn, because that's what they are until they get saved.

  412. I think though, and this goes, this goes with our word of hope.

  413. I think it's scattered. I think it gets scattered and it's few in

  414. between. But that's where we can find our hope. We can find those

  415. little things that are doing a lot, and that's where we find hope.

  416. I want to read this verse, and it doesn't come out and say the

  417. word hope, but it is. It does mean a lot of hope.

  418. And it's sorry I didn't write down hole verse in the document, but it's

  419. and I love these verses verst. Thessalonian five or through ten. But you

  420. brethren, are not in darkness that the day would overtake you like a thief.

  421. For you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are

  422. not of night nor of darkness. So then let us not sleep as others

  423. do, but let us be alert and sober. For those who sleep to

  424. their sleeping at night, and those who get drunk get drunk at night.

  425. But since we are of the day, let us be sober, having put

  426. on the breastplate of faith and love and as a helmet the hope of salvation.

  427. For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through

  428. our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, so that whether we are

  429. awake or asleep, we will live together with him. Therefore, encourage one

  430. another in building and build one another up, just as you were doing.

  431. This states it again, both those who are alive and remain and those that

  432. have already fallen asleep, those who have already died, they're going to be

  433. brought back to life, and we are going to live with him in the

  434. re established garden of even yep. And it is plain into this is the

  435. hope of our salvation. Even if we die, Okay, we are going

  436. to be raged through the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are going

  437. to live literally again, just like the Lord Jesus Christ be bopped around for

  438. how long after he was cructified, he came and talked to at least five

  439. hundred people saw him. There was no doubting what happened. That's what we're

  440. going to do. And we have to keep that hope. And it's easier

  441. said than done to remember the hope and to stay strong in that hope and

  442. to live in that hope. It's it's easy to forget that you are a

  443. creature of the day, that you are a son and a daughter of the

  444. day and not of the night, that you have that hope of salvation.

  445. And like I agree, I've been in those moments, you know, where

  446. you you forget that there's hope and it feels like that you can't have that

  447. hope. But as Christians, we are not only promised that hope, and

  448. we are given that hope and then we are commanded that hope. And that's

  449. that's how you came back right from you know, you're the first one in

  450. the family that entered the ministry full time and come you know, and that

  451. came to an end, right but you're not dead, are you. You're

  452. already applying for different church camps because you know that's where God's saving people.

  453. Because I have a hope. I have a hope, and I mean back

  454. to Jeremiah twenty nine, I have a hope in God's plan for me.

  455. I'm not gonna I'm not gonna let anything pull me down. You're not going

  456. to roll over and play deck because you're not so and commanded to do otherwise

  457. in my opinion, Right yeah, I'm not allowed to. Right right,

  458. you're not allowed to. So what is this ominous reference here with no verses

  459. about it? Either? Hebrew six. I was trying to do it really

  460. fast, really well, yeah, that's really fast. Just Hebrew six.

  461. So the whole chapter, I'm telling you right now, Hebrew six is more.

  462. Is a whole lot more than you can choose, So don't write at

  463. all. I was trying to find that very so fast, and I was

  464. Hebrew. Hebrews an old destent. You were looking for Hebrew. That's when

  465. I got to see that, man, I mean, that's that's really trick.

  466. But if you're looking for the first reference, there is verse eleven in

  467. chapter six. I mean, I don't know what your versus you. I

  468. was just thinking that. And my Bible has it labeled better things for you

  469. you versus nine twenty, And I just think that like this, this whole

  470. chapter, I'm just gonna reade through it. This whole passage just has a

  471. lot. But beloved, we are convinced of better things concerning you, and

  472. things that accompany salvation. Though we are speaking in this way, for God

  473. is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have

  474. shown towards His name in having ministered and then still ministering to the saints.

  475. And we desire that each of you show us the same diligence as to realize

  476. the full assurance of hope until we end, so that you will not be

  477. sluggish but imitators of those who, through faith and patience, inherit the promise.

  478. Amen. For when God made the promise to Abraham, since he could

  479. swear by no one greater, he swore by himself, saying I will surely

  480. bless you, and I will surely multiply you. And so, having patiently

  481. waited, he obtained the promise for men swear by one greater than themselves,

  482. and with them. An oath given as confirmation is an end of every dispute.

  483. In the same way, God desiring even more to show to the errors

  484. of the promise, the unchangeableness of his purpose, interposed with an oath,

  485. so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie,

  486. we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to take hold of the

  487. hope set before us. This hope we have as an anchor to the soul,

  488. a hope both sure and steadfast, and one who enters within the veil

  489. where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest

  490. forever, according to the or of Melchiz, dead forever, no ways,

  491. A man, I mean, it's amazing me when you read it. It

  492. supercharges me, It excites me. I mean, there's just so much there,

  493. and all of it is hope, right, And that's what it said,

  494. Who are we if we cannot hope? But better yet, who are

  495. we that we can? Well? Who are we that we can hope?

  496. Right? Well? This is those that don't hope are dead. Those who

  497. do hope we are alive. We have a living hope. We are children

  498. of the promise that a man, we are the children of this very promise.

  499. Without this promise, there is nothing. There is no hope without that

  500. promise exactly. And I love how it said because God is not a liar,

  501. right a man. That's why all these things have come to be.

  502. That's why all these things have come to pass. And that's why Jeremiah chapter

  503. twenty nine is going to come to pass. Yep, it is going to

  504. happen. I love verse twelve. So that you will not be sluggish but

  505. imitators of those who, through faith and patience inherit the promises. Guys,

  506. we are commanded to have hope, right, and I mean it is It's

  507. not just an offer. It is a gift. It is the conduit of

  508. our actions. It is why we do these good works that He keeps talking

  509. to us, because we have hope and we want to give other people that

  510. hope exactly. So hope is the conduit of your Christianity. It's a pillar.

  511. Yeah, I mean that's what we kept We kept arguing about whether,

  512. going back and forth, whether this series shouldn't have been called The Pillars of

  513. the Faith, the Three Pillars. But yeah, we're we're holding to that

  514. these are the fundamentals. Yes, they are fundamental. So no, we're

  515. not going to change in midstream. But without faith, hope, and love,

  516. you are nothing. Yep, you you have no future. I mean

  517. you got one or two options. Honey. You can either live forever,

  518. but make no mistakes. If you don't, you will die forever. Yep.

  519. And hope is a beautiful thing, right. It takes this, It

  520. takes this finite situation we're in called life and gives it immortality. Takes the

  521. square and makes it a cube. I guess you could say, hey,

  522. man, that's a good way to put it. That's a good way to

  523. put it. I mean it just it just sharpens your view and it takes

  524. you a million light years away into one. I don't know, hope.

  525. I'm just I'm so happy that we can hope and what is to come we

  526. can hope and what's next? Well, I mean, you know, this

  527. reminds me of First Peter, Chapter one, verse thirteen. This is a

  528. good example of how hope is to condu it. It says, therefore,

  529. prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely

  530. on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

  531. So it is the conduit, it's it's it's how we prepare our minds for

  532. action. We're supposed to do something, and you're right where that thing is

  533. happening at is in camp ministry. It's not happening in the local churches.

  534. Not happening not here. It's not well. I mean, I don't I

  535. don't even know of a church that even does alter calls. They don't have

  536. revivals, they don't have week long revivals where they bring in uh, special

  537. revival teams, an evangelist with you know, with a with And that's the

  538. thing. People don't even know what I'm probably talking about. Those days are

  539. over. Here's what I think. I think, Bring hope with you wherever

  540. you go, whether it's church, whether it's church camp, whether it's school,

  541. whether it's work, whether it's the side of the street. You are

  542. that light on the hill, whether you like it or not. You are

  543. that lantern on the stormy side of the ocean, whether you want to be

  544. or not. And that's an important mission. But bring hope with you wherever

  545. you go, because you have the hope of Jesus Christ in you and just

  546. like just like a lamp, you can you can light your neighbor's candle.

  547. Somebody's gonna light it. Yep. Well, pretty good stuff, right,

  548. pretty good stuff. So you're gonna pray us out of here or what yep,

  549. or you're just gonna do the words prayer. You can do whatever you

  550. want. Your brain watch prayer. Our Father, who is in heaven,

  551. follow be your name, your kingdom. Come, Your will be done on

  552. earth as it is in heaven. Do us this day our daily bread,

  553. and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive the who truspass against us,

  554. and lead us not into temptation. But you'll libress from the evil one,

  555. for yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen,

  556. Amen and Amen til next time, ladies and gentlemen, God bless god'speed.
