Ephesians 6 · chapter mention

We find this passage of scripture from the Apostle Paul written to the church

in Ephesus and for our understanding today.

He says, for we are not fighting against flesh and blood enemies,

but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world,

against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

My assignment today is to wake you up from your sleep into your authority.

Authority i want to show you and challenge you

today to begin to operate like

jesus and so we see in

this passage of scripture we see the word fight in the king james we see the

word wrestle throughout the scriptures especially in the new testament you see

you you see you hear words like warfare and we've been reading through the old

testament just finished judges all type of war is going on. This is a book of war.

It's a book of fighting. It's a book of wrestling. It's a book of contention.

It is a book of war, but we must understand who and what we are fighting against.

Several years ago, I was working in corporate America.

I worked for a Fortune 500 bank. I started out making $28,500 in an entry-level position.

Before then, I moved to Charlotte and And I was working for a local bakery making

$8.50 an hour. And I had an apartment.

And to this day, I don't know how the bills were getting paid.

It wasn't adding up. I was tithing, as Jeannie was talking about,

and honoring God. And he was supplying.

I mean, the windows of heaven were open. And I sought first the kingdom of God.

And everything was added unto me. I mean, I don't know how the bills were getting

paid, but they were. and I was making $8.50 an hour and then I got a job at

at a local bank a fortune 500 bank and.

And they hired me at $28,500. And I thought I was making a million dollars from $850,000 to $28,000.

I mean, what I ended up doing was getting Wi-Fi in my house, in my apartment.

I did not have Wi-Fi. And I was excited that I was getting Wi-Fi in the house.

Glory to God. And I turned the cable on as well.

And so that was really, really thrilling. And I was ascending in the corporate ranks.

Many of you know my story. I got promoted two times in three years, $28,500.

And then when I ended up leaving, I was making over $120,000 in this corporate bank.

And so in a three-year period, I went from $28,500 to over $100,000.

The hand of the Lord was on me and the favor of God just went before me.

And so in the process of that ascension, I was in a position,

the first raise I got from from $28,500 went to $50,000, and I was thrilled

about that, and the highest person in that sales position was making $50,000,

so this was the sales position,

and I always ask, what is the highest person making, because I'm going to make

what the highest person's making, because I'm going to.

Accelerate, right, I am going to be one of the top, I've got vision and goals,

and they said around around $50,000, and so lo and behold, I did that year make around $50,000.

But in the process, I was sitting at my desk one particular day,

and there was a downtime,

and all of a sudden, people started talking about each other,

playing the dozens, making fun of each other. Sometimes that happens when people get bored.

That's why I don't let my children get bored, because all type of devilish activities

start taking place when you get bored. Somebody say amen.

Give them purpose and something to put their

hand to to do and so it was a down period of

time and start people started talking about each other and one

particular guy started talking about me and he

was really going in on me and nobody was really

laughing because it got a little personal you know he just on

and on and on talking about me and I'm just sitting I don't want to play I'm just

sitting there listening to him and finally I

said something back and what I said back

to him I think really really hurt him because everybody started laughing and

then so he stood up and he started walking towards me well you know excuse my

friends but pastor ain't no punk okay he started walking towards me I stood up too.

And he was like, like he was about to do something. I said, you know what?

I said, I know what you want to do. You want to handle this right here on the floor.

We're going to go outside. I said, let's take this outside. I went straight

to the elevator. I said, you know what? I'm going, I'm going outside.

And all of a sudden, this man comes running. One of my coworkers comes running

and he meets me. I've already pushed the down button, okay?

I'm ready to go to war. I mean, I'm ready.

I mean, he want to fight, I want to fight, you know? And so I already got ready.

I pushed the down button. This guy comes, I'll never forget. his name was Jamie.

He comes and he says, do not go down that elevator.

He says, they will fire you if you just walk out of here and go down the elevator.

He goes, I forbid you to go down that elevator.

Well, I'm excited that Jamie did that because I didn't go down the elevator.

I ended up walking back to my seat. The other guy had moved on.

I still had to calm down because I'm not that kind of guy. I don't walk around.

I'm a lover, guys. I'm not a fighter. I'm a lover. But you You know what?

Hey, I'll put these hands on you now if you need to.

I remember one particular time, one particular time, Josh had brought his Oculus,

and we were messing with his Oculus one day, and it was a boxing game on the Oculus.

An Oculus is something you put on your head, and you look through, and it's imaginary.

I don't even know what the virtual, whatever the case may be. And it was a boxing game.

I was boxing this computerized guy and I had this stance like this This was

the stance and I sent it to and I you guys know I know a couple of fighter friends

I know an Olympic wrestler and he introduced me to Daniel Cormier who is a,

light heavyweight heavyweight champion one of the greatest UFC fighters and.

Sport, I sent him the video of my stance. I say, look, look,

and I'm boxing. He goes, first of all, your legs are not right.

You need to switch your legs.

Secondly, you stand your back up a little bit. And so I was like,

okay, well, maybe I'm not as ready to fight as I thought.

I said, I got so much correction. He said, come on out here.

I'll teach you, you know, how to fight.

I said, I don't want to take a hit though. I don't want nobody hitting me. But nevertheless,

I was prepared to to take this guy down okay and I was hot I was upset and I

finally calmed down and I later on the next day that was like a Thursday the

next day the man wasn't there and I had found out that,

management had heard about it they had interviewed people around and everybody

blamed him to be as the instigator and then they were patting me on the back

right for just keeping calm now nobody's they didn't know that I ran to the

elevator and I was ready to go down and I was already ready,

I'm buttoning my shirt, okay?

And so he got written up and in trouble and so on and so forth,

and my manager came to me, and he said something to me that I've always remembered to this day.

He said, you are not here to make friends.

You are here to make money, and don't let anybody stop you from making money.

And I had lofty goals and vision, and you know it's okay, I need to say this.

It's okay to have a desire to make money.

People think that, yeah, I only got a couple of amens on that because people

think that it is wrong to have a desire to make money.

No, it's okay to have a desire to make money because how can you be more of

a blessing without having the resources that it takes to be a help and a support?

In my interview for this particular job that I got, my manager asked me,

he said, how important is money to you?

On a scale of one to 10, one being not important at all, 10 being very important,

how important is money or making money to you?

I said, well, I mean, we're talking nine and 10, right? And so later on, I get past all that.

They hire me. Now, you got to understand, I'm a guy that doesn't, I don't have a degree.

I don't, I didn't grow up in the financial industry. I wasn't,

you know, raised in that way.

This is the favor of God on me, really just God's favor on me.

And I told him, I said, nine or 10, I mean, it's up there for me.

Making money is really important.

And so I get done. He tells me later, one of the reasons I hired you is because you answered 9 and 10.

He said, a lot of people answer 2, 3. They try to feel, you know,

be humble. I need people in this position that want to make some money.

And I need them to have the drive to make some money. And I wasn't doing it

so that I can increase my livelihood.

I was doing it so I can just be more of a blessing, to have more resources to

distribute when God says, give it away. way.

And so I want to encourage you, if you're ever in a position,

don't belittle yourself.

Put out there, this is what I'm expecting to make, or making money is important

to me because they're looking for people that are hungry to grow and increase.

Somebody say amen to that.

And so I ended up, you know, in that position where I was patted on the back.

He had gotten disciplined. I went to church that Sunday, and after the service,

I ended up talking to a friend in the church.

And it's important to have friends in the church.

It's important to hang out after church and talk to people.

That's really important because sometimes people can tell you some things that will help you.

And sometimes you can tell people some things that will help them.

And so me and this particular guy were hanging out after church.

Church was over. We're in the parking lot talking.

And I tell him the story of what happened. I said, man, I almost got in a fight

at work and almost lost it all.

Man, I was going to take this guy out. I was hot. I was mad.

I was ready to rumble, whatever the case. I didn't like him anyway,

and so that was all the more reason, right? Put my hands on him.

And so when he's listening and he's smiling and he said something to me that really struck me.

He said, the devil tried to stop what God was planning in your life.

I said, huh, I ain't even factored in the devil.

I just factored in this guy coming against me, and I've got to,

you know, he's messing with Devon.

You know, I've got to hold my reputation, right? Watch out now.

He said the devil was trying to stop the progress that you're making, and he used this guy.

And you have to remember your fight is not with people.

Your fight is with invisible enemies and forces.

People are not your enemy.

The issue is there are many of us contending with our family members and contending

with coworkers and contending with someone of the opposite political spectrum.

And we're fighting each other and we're have contention and we're going after each other.

But we are forgetting that there is an unseen enemy force that is trying to

divide, that it's trying to get you off of the course and the path that God has for your life.

And you have to be mature enough to recognize my spouse is not my enemy.

My mother is not my enemy.

My children are not my enemy. That boss is not my enemy.

The enemy is Satan. And these people are being used, but they are not the enemy.

And when Paul tells us here, we don't wrestle with flesh and blood.

Our opponents are not human beings

yes there are people that have set their

heart against you but it's only because satan is pushing that and he is dividing

that and he wants you to recognize that if you can get distracted by pookie

and ray ray if your cousin can always get you uh acting acting weird.

If your husband can always get you going crazy and out of character, then Satan wins.

But once we realize that it is Satan who's our enemy, then we'll begin to fight the real enemy.

And we must know this, whether you believe this or not, it is true,

you are either currently in a battle or you are about to enter a battle.

This is where we all are at. We are either currently battling or we are about

to enter a battle and our enemy is invisible.

And his name is Satan and he has demonic forces that cannot be seen,

but they can manifest through other people.

And we must recognize it.

Pookie is not my enemy. That demon that's pushing Pookie is my enemy.

Somebody say amen to that. Matthew chapter 28, verse 18, Matthew chapter 28, verse 18.

Jesus came and spoke to them saying, all authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.

So this verse tells us that every authority in heaven.

And if you see this word heaven, there are three different heavens.

OK, in scripture, there are three different heavens. you need to recognize which

heaven is the Bible referring to.

The first heaven is the sky where the birds are flying around and there's airplanes

and you can look up and see clouds and stars.

That's the first heaven. The second heaven is space.

We don't see it with our eyes, but there is space. Our kids and I were talking

about which planet do we want to go visit just for fun.

And they were saying Mars. And I said Jupiter. I always liked the ring around

Jupiter. I don't know. I always thought that was cool.

Now, there is no oxygen there, so you just got to step out of,

get out of your adult brain, okay, and get over into having fun.

And so that is the second heaven. And then the third heaven is what we call

the presence of God, where God lives and so on and so forth.

Actually, the Lord's correcting me as I speak. The third heaven is actually

space the first heaven is where God

is and then the second heaven is our atmosphere okay and

if you read throughout scripture the the the scriptures will show you that sometimes

you got to defer to which heaven is he talking about and here Jesus saying all

authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth he's saying in all of

it of all of the heavens all authority has been been given to me,

meaning the enemy is already defeated, okay?

So all authority has been given to Jesus, and the enemy is already defeated.

That next verse, he says, go into all the world, meaning he transferred or delegated that authority.

He has it all, but he delegated the power and authority to you and I,

which gives us the right to use his authority, all right?

We have a right to use his authority, and we must understand that the enemy is already defeated.

If you understand that, say amen.

Luke chapter 9, verse 1. Luke chapter 9, verse 1.

Then he, Jesus, called his 12 disciples together and gave them power.

Somebody say power. Power. And authority. Say authority. Authority.

Say it again. Authority. Authority. Over all demons and to cure diseases.

Now notice Jesus gathered his disciples and he said to them,

I am giving you power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases.

So if it's the will of God for you and I to have power and authority over all demons and diseases,

then we must say it's not God's will that we are being demon-oppressed and walking around with diseases.

I thought I'd get a better amen than that, but I'm plowing this morning. I'm plowing.

If we have authority over disease, then a disease that attacks us should not

be embraced and accepted. it.

If we have authority over demons, then any demon that manifests itself,

we shouldn't be tucking tail and running the opposite direction.

There was something that was on Facebook recently and this man posted because

a woman behind him was hissing at the waitress like a cat.

And then the man was scared. He goes, I'm uncomfortable and I'm about to leave

the restaurant he's posting on Facebook and and you can hear the woman hissing

and all that behind it and he's like this I'm getting up out of here,

Stacy told me what would you do I said I would turn around and pray in the Holy Ghost.

And cast that demon out. Somebody say amen.

Demon, you don't belong anywhere near. Matter of fact, she wouldn't even be

comfortable doing that around me.

Somebody say amen. Amen. I walked into, I went to Anaheim, California.

And this particular time, I was a guest.

I mentioned Daniel Cormier earlier. He used to bring me to his fights. He's retired now.

But he invited me to all his fights. And he would send me out,

and I would go, and Stacy would go, too. And we would have a marvelous time.

And one particular time, I walked into the hotel room, and one of his cousins is an atheist.

And I walked into the room, and all of a sudden, the cousin started sweating.

I mean, he got to sweating, he got to sweating, he got to sweating.

And then he said, I can't stop sweating.

He said it. And then Daniel says, is it because Pastor came in?

He goes, ever since Pastor came in, I can't stop sweating. I said, them demons.

I ain't scared of no demon. You shouldn't be either. Let me say this.

Say this out to me. I ain't scared of no demon.

Man, people need, when you walk, when you get close, people need to get a little nervous.

He got to sweating. He grabbed the towel and he got to drying his,

his face. He said, Lord, when pastor came in, I can't stop sweating.

I said, yes, right. I know because I'm carrying the Holy ghost.

Amen. And so we have been given power and authority over all. Somebody say all.

Well, you don't know that demon. That's a strong demon. No, no,

no, no, no. He falls under the category of all.

And to cure, one translation says, all diseases. And we'll read that as well.

We have been given power and authority. Say this. I have the power.

And the authority.

Over all demons. And all diseases.

And all diseases. Now, Duke Energy is our power company in town.

Some of us may have union power.

They supply the electricity to our homes.

Assuming that your bill is paid, you can expect electricity to be in your home.

Let's say you walk in your master bedroom and it's dark.

You can't call Duke Energy and say, hey, it's dark in my master bedroom.

They're going to be like, well, it looks like your bill is up to date.

Looks like we have demonstrated and given power to your house.

So have you flipped the switch?

And you would say, I have not flipped the switch. They'll say,

go ahead and flip the switch. So you go and you flip the switch and the light comes on.

What typically happens is God has given you all the power you need,

all the authority you need, and you have not flipped the switch.

Your responsibility is to flip the switch.

Your responsibility is to turn the power on. Your responsibility is to activate

the power by flipping the switch. That's the title of this message, flip the switch.

You're going to have to flip the switch and activate it. You have it,

you possess it, it's yours, but you're going to have to flip the switch.

And so power is ability, but authority is the permission to use the power.

Power is ability, but authority is the permission to use the power.

The right to command is a part of your authority.

The right to have dominion is a part of your authority.

And God is expecting you to exercise the power that he's given to you. Somebody say amen.

He's expecting you to exercise it by flipping the switch. in Matthew chapter 10, verse 1.

Matthew chapter 10, verse 1. And when he had called his 12 disciples to him,

he gave them, somebody shout, power! Power!

Over, watch this, unclean spirits to cast them out.

On a Wednesday night, our midweek boost, I'm going to talk about how to cast out demons.

It's going to be good. You better join that Wednesday night.

How to cast out demons and to heal all kinds of sickness.

How many kinds of sickness? All. Are we waiting on God to do it? No.

Listen, he said he gave them power over all demons and to heal all kinds of

sickness and all kinds of disease. What is a disease?

Dis-ease. I'm uncomfortable.

There is something attacking me that is causing me to be uncomfortable,

and that is not the will of God.

And so God is giving us, through Christ Jesus, who has all authority,

power and the authority to heal all kinds of disease. Somebody shout amen.

Jesus is trying to get you to act like him.

One of the reasons we have the Gospels is so that we can see how a man acts

who also possesses the Holy Spirit.

So you have to understand that everything Jesus did on the earth, he did as a man.

He stripped himself of all divine responsibilities and privileges.

He was a man on the earth who possessed the Holy Spirit on the inside of him.

And everything he did on the earth he did as a man with the Holy Spirit showing

you and I how to dominate this earth showing you and I how to walk around this

earth we are not waiting on God.

Let me say it again. You are not waiting on God.

You have the power and the authority to flip the switch and activate all of

the power necessary in order to get the job done. Somebody say amen.

God will never answer a prayer that he asked you to do. Well,

God, will you cook breakfast this morning?

That prayer will never get answered because you get your tail up and you walk

in the kitchen and you crack the eggs and you cook your own breakfast.

Somebody say amen to that.

He's never going to answer a prayer that he's told you to do. Okay?

That is our responsibility to flip the switch.

So he's trying to get you to act like him. Say this after me.

Jesus endeavors to get me to act like him.

Now let's look at Luke chapter 10, verse 19. Luke chapter 10. Let's look at verse 19.

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on all serpents and scorpions and

over all the power of the enemy.

And nothing.

Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. shall by any means hurt you.

Now notice, Jesus is saying, I'm giving you the right and the responsibility

to command and demand that you do good.

On scorpions and serpents, which are synonymous with demonic activity,

and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.

What Jesus is really saying to you is, I am permitting you to use my authority

over all of the enemy's ability.

I am permitting you to use my authority over all of the enemy's ability.

If you take a look at a police officer, someone dressed in North Carolina,

what do you call it? What is their outfit called?

Uniform. There you go. I thought it was a bigger word than that,

but uniform. You're dressed. That's a teacher right there, you can tell.

Teacher of the Year a couple years ago, too, by the way. Yeah, amen.

And so he or she is in their North Carolina uniform.

And they are walking in the authority of the state of North Carolina.

And when you see them, they carry the authority of the state of North Carolina.

And then they decide to step out on 74. in their uniform under the authority

of the state of North Carolina and they put their hand and they say halt and

they tell the traffic to stop.

Now they don't have the power to stop a car moving at that speed.

Matter of fact, even if it wasn't moving, they don't really have the power to

stop it, right? But they have the authority to stop.

And Jesus is saying, I'm giving you the authority to stop all of the power of the enemy.

You don't have to be in great shape like me, okay?

You carry authority. You have the full armor of God.

You are walking around, assuming that you've given your life to Jesus,

you're walking around with the uniform of the Spirit of Jesus.

And all you have to do is look at the enemy and look at what's going on in your

life and your situation and say, stop.

And it has to stop. Glory to God. I don't know if you know what you possess.

One of the reasons I think superhero movies have really taken off is because

people want to possess power, but believers actually do possess the power.

They just haven't flipped the switch. bitch. Why are you still dealing with

that stomach ache for 30 years? Turn the power on.

Are you listening to me? Why are you and your cousin still bickering all the time? Turn the power on.

Why are you always broke, busted, and disgusted? Turn the power on.

Money, come to me now. Job opportunities, come to me now.

Strife, get out of here now. Stomach, feel better now.

You're going to have to say these things. You're going to have to activate the power.

You're going to have to turn this on. You're going to have to release it.

If If you don't, nothing will happen.

When God saw that it was dark in Genesis chapter 1, he did not say nothing at all.

He didn't even say, look how dark it is. This is a sovereign being who has all power and authority.

He didn't just cross his hands and say, well, whatever will be, will be.

No, he looked out there and said, let there be light. And guess what happened? Light came.

He released the power and it changed the atmosphere. Come on, somebody say amen.

Authority is the ability to influence and control circumstances.

Notice it's not to influence and control people. Okay.

You don't have authority over other people where this power is concerned.

You have authority over circumstances.

I'm tired of people being troubled and troubled and troubled and years of just

troubled, troubled, troubled and bickering and strife and trouble and pain and trouble, trouble.

And I'm just waiting. I'm just waiting. I'm just waiting. You are not waiting.

You are allowing. knowing, you are accepting, you are embracing instead of fighting.

Did you know that we are called to fight the good fight of faith?

I know you want to be on a cruise ship. I know that you want to float down the

road and I'm going on a cruise next year. Praise the Lord.

I know you want to be on a cruise ship and you want to kick your legs up and

there's a time for that, but not Not when you're in a battle.

It's time to get in that battleship. It's time to get in there and say,

I am tired of dealing with this.

I'm not going to deal with this not one day longer.

I'm going to fight and I'm going to win. And when I fight, I'm going to fight

and I'm going to fight and I'm going to fight and I'm going to win.

Amen. I said amen. I said amen. man.

You must use the authority delegated to you in order to get things done in your life.

In Matthew chapter 8, turn there, verses 5 through 10.

Matthew chapter 8, verses 5 through 10.

Matthew 8:5–10

Now, when Jesus had entered Capernaum, this Capernaum is where Jesus lives,

by the way. When it entered Capernaum, a centurion, a centurion is a Roman soldier

who has a hundred people under his authority.

A centurion came to him, pleading with him, verse 6, saying,

Lord, my servant, a lot of translations believe this was actually his son.

My servant or my son is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented. Paul's here.

He's paralyzed. He can't move. he's in a lot of

pain and he is hurting what we like to do is just that's just so sad just let

the will of the Lord be done here and and God's will be done and whatever God

wants to do he'll just do and God you just that's your will from him to be in

pain this I'm so glad that the,

centurion didn't think that he went to he went to the word Jesus is the word

he went to the word And he said, listen, I got to go to the word because my son's in a lot of pain.

Jesus says to him in verse seven, take a look. He said to him,

I will. Somebody say, I will.

Once again, we see the willingness of Jesus. I will not want.

We don't see anywhere in scripture where Jesus told someone, I will not heal you.

There's not one verse in Scripture about that.

We see in Scripture people came to Jesus and they were healed,

but we don't hear Jesus say one time, not one time to anybody,

I will not hear you or it is God's will for you to be in this situation. Not one time.

He says, I will come and heal him. Oh, I love what the satyrian said.

Look at verse 8. The satyrian answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy.

I don't even deserve that you should come under my roof. but only speak a word

and my servant or my son will be healed. Look at verse 9.

I love this. For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, go.

And he goes and to another, come. And he comes and to my servant, do this. And he does it.

When Jesus heard it he marveled it's

hard to get Jesus to marvel but he marveled and said

to those who followed or surely I say to you I have

not found such great faith not even in Israel now notice this centurion understood

authority a lot of times people in military they understand the rankings and

files of authority they they get uh hierarchy and and that sort of thing they they They understand.

My dad spent over 20 years in the military.

He understood it and helped me. And our house was military run,

okay? So we understood authority.

This man, the centurion, says, listen, I'm not even worthy for you to come to my house.

Don't even waste the time to do that.

I understand authority. And if you just speak a word...

Then my son will be healed. He says, here's what I understand,

because all I have to do is speak and tell these men to go over there and they follow it.

They don't ask any questions. They don't disobey.

They just follow it. And I tell this one come and they come. They follow orders.

I tell this one do this and they do it. So I understand your authority.

And so if you would just speak a word, then my son would be healed.

And Jesus said, oh my gosh, I have never seen so much faith.

And so Jesus, look at verse 13 in Matthew chapter 8, it says,

and Jesus said to the centurion, go your way as you have believed, so let it be done for you.

And his servant was healed that same hour.

Jesus stood right in that place and spoke a word.

And the word he spoke, authority and power in the unseen realm knew that dreadfully

tormented and paralyzed must go No,

because Jesus spoke a word and it left that same hour. It was gone.

This is where authority is. You're going to have to look into the unseen realm and begin to speak.

How do you release your authority? How do you flip on the switch?

You, man or woman in authority, open up your mouth and begin to speak.

And when you speak unseen demonic forces.

Things that are hindering you.

There are spirits that are trying to hinder you, to slow your progress.

How come you keep interviewing, you can't get a job? There are spirits designed to hinder you.

Now, if you're lazy and all that kind of thing, that's all on you,

okay? Spirit don't have to do nothing, okay?

But if you are endeavoring to do what God has called you to do,

there are hindering spirits.

And if you don't command them to get off you, they will stay.

They won't go anywhere. Pastor friend of mine, his whole family was sick.

And I love what he did. He said he was the only one well and his whole family

was sick, but they weren't, they were all in the car at this point.

And they had run to the doctors and this and that. And he said, y'all stay in the car.

He said, He said he walked into the house and he began to command the atmosphere.

Spirits of sickness, get out of my house in the name of Jesus.

Spirits of torment, spirits of fever and flu and disease, get out now in the

name of Jesus. Spoke to the atmosphere.

Then he went to the cross and said, come on in. It's safe to come on in the house now. Amen. Amen.

These are actions of a person who understands the power and authority that they carry.

You just won't allow stuff to happen.

You won't allow it. I don't allow that kind of stuff to happen in my house.

You ask any one of my kids what happens in my house. They walk around saying,

in Jesus' name, because we're walking in the authority that Jesus gave us,

and we don't put up with it.

Strife's got to go. Division's got to go.

And sometimes people in your life that are causing strife and division,

they got to go, too, because they won't let go of that devil. So they got to go, too.

Amen. And you're going to have to be okay with it because if you're going to

sin, God wants you to ascend. He wants you to go up a little bit higher.

If you're going to sin, everybody's not going to go with you.

Stop, stop. My mom don't believe in me. She can't get there with you. She just can't do it.

I don't know. I just, I don't know. I just, nobody believes me. Jesus believes in you.

And you go to that next level. Somebody say amen to that.

I was just recently, I heard a testimony. Thomas

and Tamika you guys know Thomas Tamika they had a

wedding ceremony in November and they

had a couple that showed up at their ceremony who were

they felt like they were a little older they had recently gotten married and

they wanted to have children but they felt a little older they had been trying

and trying and trying and and they had been told by doctors that man you know You might not work.

Y'all might need to try something else.

And so they told me about it, just willfully gave me that information.

Well, they approached a man who knows his authority.

I said, do y'all desire to have children? They said, we really do. We really desire.

I said, well, let's pray together. They said, okay.

I said, come on, we grab some hands here. We're just at a wedding. Grab hands.

And I declared that they would conceive within one year from that date.

I said, I declare in the name of Jesus, whom I serve, and under the authority

that he's given me, that you shall conceive within one year of this prayer.

Well, I get a text this week.

Do you remember from Thomas? Do you remember that couple you prayed over at the wedding?

I'm like, wait a minute, the couple that was believing to be pregnant?

He said, I said, yeah, yeah, that couple.

He said, yes. He goes, they want me to tell you that they're pregnant. Hallelujah.

Somebody's got to flip the stretch. Well, we just see what the Lord's going to do.

That's what the devil wants you to say. God's done everything he's going to do.

Listen to me now. And now he's given you his Holy Spirit, his word, and a voice.

To release the power and you begin to declare things to take place in your life.

Stop letting things fight you, defeat you, overwhelm you, depress you,

and begin to talk to the spirits behind it and not have a conversation.

It's a one-way conversation. Stop. Get.

Get out. I told I told you yesterday and I'm going to tell you again, stop, get, get out.

You are not going to mess with me or my family.

Somebody's got to get bold about this.

We are sitting around with power and authority and allowing things to happen.

And you must address it as soon as it takes place.

Just when it happens, wait a minute, I'm not going to let that happen.

Up in here. Up in here.

Y'all going to make me act a fool. Oh, I'm not going to, I'm not going to let that happen.

I'm going to stand up in my power and the authority God's given me.

And I'm going to tell them to stop.

I'm going to tell it to quit. I'm going to command it to not exist anymore.

You're going to have to begin to speak the word. Like Jesus spoke the word to

the centurion and there was no distance.

He wasn't even there to lay hands on him. He just spoke the word and things

happen in the invisible realm.

Things are working when you begin to release your authority.

The cool thing is you can't see it, but it's working.

We live in a two-story home. I'll sit on my couch and I'll shout, Zarek J.

That's all I'll do. Zarek J. I shouted his name and I just sit there.

And about 40 seconds later, here comes Derek J.

Yes, you called? Yeah, I want you to do this, that, this, that, and the third.

I wasn't concerned or overwhelmed or I called him.

I released my authority as father in the house and said his name and he came.

When I tell him to stop, he might fight a little bit, but he going to stop.

Are you listening to me? Say amen to that.

You're going to have to do the same thing. Stop.

Now, you ain't talking to a person. You're talking to the invisible, man.

And don't be crazy. Don't go to work and you show up and you show up late to

work. You be like, I cast all the spirits. And they be like, what in the world?

No, no, no, no. This is just you in the car, in the shower.

You know, you don't need to impress nobody. I brought my Bible in here today because I want it.

And everybody I know that had a Bible at their desk, this is just my experience,

are the craziest, weirdest people I know.

I don't, as soon as I see a Bible, I just back up. I don't even want to talk

to them. They ain't got no sense. No, you come in with authority.

You change the atmosphere when you walk in. Come on, somebody say amen to that.

I declare. Now, if you receive this, I declare. I declare.

Bills paid in Jesus' name.

This time next year, your bills will be paid in full in Jesus' name.

Stand up if you believe that.

I declare those of you that want to be married, this time next year,

you will be engaged to a godly man or woman in Jesus' name.

I declare those of you that have back pain back pain will be gone now in this in Jesus name.

I declare debt freedom. Who's believing for debt freedom?

I declare by this time next year, debts will be paid.

Now, how do you receive that? You say, I receive that. I take that.

That's mine. That's mine. I'll have it. It's mine.

Speak a word. That's all I got to do is believe that God would do his job.

My job is to just believe And act in faith,

And now all this other stuff Being married within one year I don't care how

that happens God's going to make it happen,

Say amen to that All the bills being paid I don't know how that's going to happen

I'm not even going to lose any sleep On how it's going to happen God's going

to make it happen It's been released.

And it's happening in your life come on somebody say amen amen I just I believe

who close your eyes who in here has a sickness in their body raise your hand

if you got a sickness in your body I see your hands up sickness here keep keep

your hands up I'm not gonna lay hands on you I'm gonna declare a word,

in the name of Jesus I receive all of the authority you've given me and I declare.

Sickness flee from their bodies now in the name of Jesus cease to exist,

shrivel up and die now in the mighty name of Jesus and I call healing to come

healing to take place fresh new fresh and new new energy new new new body parts new new livers,

new kidneys, whatever it is, new backs,

new new newness, newness, newness to flow,

newness to flow in the mighty authority of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Hallelujah. Hallelujah. How many of you keep your eyes closed?

How many having financial difficulties? Raise your hand. Financial difficulties.

I see hands up. Financial difficulties. In the name of Jesus,

I rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty now.

And I declare the spirit of grace, the spirit of favor.

Prosperity to take place in their life, extra income, increase to take place

in their life in the name of Jesus. Jesus, let it be so.

Let it be done in Jesus' name. Amen.
