Do you know the Bible is God's Holy Word? Do you know it is
-
inspired, in errant, and infallible? If so, like, share,
-
subscribe and support this podcast. So we are Maranatha Ministries and now Redemption draweth
-
nigh. Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to the program. We are
-
your host Jose and Matthew. Tonight we get back to the Book of a
-
Sense, and tonight we're doing Psalms one point thirty. It is a very
-
short psalm, you would have to say, it is extremely sweetened to the
-
point. However, however, there's some things stated here that when you know
-
what to look for this eleventh chapter here in the Book of a Sense,
-
it can it can get your attention. And on the surface, it's much
-
like many of the other psalms of a cent that we've read. It's just
-
on the surface here you can't. You know, nobody would say that this
-
psalm is of any consequence, right, Jose, correct? Matthew. I
-
mean, have you ever heard anybody speak about this chapter? Have you ever
-
heard one verse quoted from here? I don't think so, Matthew know.
-
So you know, it begs the question, ladies and gentlemen, why is
-
this in the Bible? You know, I've often asked this question to all
-
different nage groups, because just to be sure, I have taught every age
-
group in church, every age group. Now there's one particular church where all
-
the classes would fight over me, so I could only teach one class for
-
six months. I mean, that's pretty bad when the senior class, the
-
senior adult class would get mad because I was going to go teach you know,
-
the teenagers. So this isn't my first rodeo. And when I say
-
something like that, you know, it normally makes some people nervous, because
-
really, I really am asking you, ladies and gentlemen, if you read
-
it's over and if you think it's no consequence, why is it in the
-
Bible? I mean, would you not agree, Jose that God did not
-
waste his time or his breath construc the Bible, No, Matthew, he
-
absolutely did not. And I think it's the people that don't realize that everything
-
is there for a purpose, every word, every verse, you know,
-
every book in the Bible is there for a reason. And again it's all
-
prophetic. And there's some Christians and some denominations that don't look at the Bible
-
that way, whether they're looking at it as a as a self help book,
-
or they're looking at it as a you know only they only consulted when
-
they're going through a time of trouble, and so they they go to certain
-
you know, chapters and verses that they read to strengthen them during those times,
-
but without understanding that it's so intricate, so much detail, it's so
-
woven together, so beautifully that even with a simple the simple verses that we've
-
been reading, Matthew, God just lays so much information, and there's so
-
much data, so much material that binds the whole Bible together. It's it.
-
It can only be done by his hand. That's just the only way
-
to put it. I remember when when I had first started reading the Bible
-
with my sons, and just starting with the first first chapter in the New
-
Testament and then going with just going with a cross reference has shook you,
-
right, Nothing, nothing too intricate, no no detailed study, just let's
-
look at the cross references and just seeing how you just couldn't hit My son
-
said, you can't, you can't. I don't. I don't understand how
-
people say this isn't written by God, because just by this one chapter,
-
you're taking me all over the Bible and showing me what God's talking about in
-
that one in that first chapter of Matthew. So it's just it's it's just
-
if you would only take the time to study it and to look at it.
-
And yeah, lot of us maybe don't have access to the original languages.
-
But like you've said before, Matthew, just using the strongest concordance,
-
you can get a lot of information with that and and clarify a lot of
-
these simple chapters, these simple verses that that we kind of gloss over.
-
There's there's just so much details, so much information in the end there.
-
And you know this one is this one's pretty pretty simple, right, It's
-
just basically four stanzas. There's basically two versus per stanza, right. I
-
mean, on the surface, it's not saying anything out of the ordinary.
-
I mean these it's not making bold statements here. I mean it is when
-
when you can see what to look for. But on the surface, there's
-
just well, there's not much here and we're going to read through it.
-
I mean, it's just eight verses. It's it's literally no weight on the
-
mind at all. I mean, it's very easy to read, and you
-
would think that that's the end of the matter. You would think that you
-
just read through it and you know it's fine. So pose do you want
-
to read it? Or you want me to sure I can read it?
-
Matthew, Okay, go ahead, all right. So again we're in some
-
one thirty and I'm reading it out of the nasb. A song of a
-
sets out of the depths. I have cried to you, Oh Lord,
-
Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive that the voice of
-
my supplications, to the voice of my supplications. If you, Lord should
-
mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with
-
you that you may be feared. I wait for the Lord. My soul
-
does wait. And in his word do I hope. My soul waits for
-
the Lord more than the watchmen for the morning, indeed more than the watchmen
-
for the morning. Oh Israel, hope and the Lord. For with the
-
Lord there is loving kindness, and with him is abundant redemption, and he
-
will redeem Israel from all his iniquities. You know, not much, not
-
much there that we haven't heard before, right, right, right? I
-
mean, it just begs the question, why is this here? I mean,
-
this Psalm is for the weight of it, it would seem that you're
-
just supposed to read it once a year, right, You're just supposed to
-
go through it. It's it's here Psalm one, between Psalm one twenty nine
-
and one thirty one, so you're supposed to read it and get it over
-
with, right, Right, That's just that's just just what it seems like
-
until you open your eyes and take a look at it. Because I can't
-
get very far myself without stumbling across things. And I mean literally stumbling across
-
things. So you know, from the very first word, or from the
-
very first verse, it uses this, this strange word h. Forty six
-
fifteen, what you're seeing is deeps now. The problem is that, for
-
one, this word has very limited use in the Bible itself. It has
-
very limited usage. But you're thinking he's talking about water, right, Jose,
-
Right, you think that's what's going on here when you take a look
-
at this word. But when you take a look at the the root word,
-
the singular form of this, well that's not entirely the case. I
-
mean, take note, ladies and gentlemen, that. The root word here
-
for this is G. Six thousand and nine, G. Six thousand and
-
nine, Psalms ninety two, verse five. How great are your works,
-
Oh Lord, your thoughts are very deep. That's not talking about water,
-
Jose. Right, that's not talking about water. That's H six zero zero
-
nine. Matthew, you said gee, but I know you go ooh ooh
-
you caught me. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, that's eh. That's that's
-
Hebrew. We're looking at Hebrew right now, not Greek. So Isaiah chapter
-
seven, verse eleven, ask a sign for yourself from the Lord your God,
-
make it as deep as she o or as high as heaven. Once
-
again, we are absolutely not talking about water. That's not what we're talking
-
about here. Let's go to the next one. Maybe maybe this will clarify.
-
Isaiah chapter twenty nine, verse fifteen. Woe to those who deeply hide
-
their plans from the Lord, and whose deeds are done in dark places.
-
And they say, who sees us or who knows us? So, Jose,
-
what do you make of this that this is talking about? And it
-
can mean deep, right, yes, it can mean water, that's true,
-
But obviously God is talking about something else. Here it's and he's wanting
-
you to see that from the very first Yeah, Matthew's that's kind of the
-
inclination I got when I read this this palm, that that depths or the
-
deep that it's talking about it. Immediately what came to mind was shield and
-
one obviously on a on a natural level, right, what what this person
-
would have to be going through too to feel like they were in shield,
-
feel like they were so far away from God, feel like they were in
-
the grave, even though they may be alive and and and suffering and going
-
through through pains and tribulations. But Matthew, we also know that that there
-
are individuals that are in shield, are in haze, or we'll be going
-
there, that will be cr that have cried out and will cry out to
-
the Lord from those depths. That there's more than just a physical feeling here.
-
There's the there's a real the word that's using the psalm as psyche,
-
right, Matthew. It's it's not just it's not just the soma soma reaction.
-
It's a it's something you're psyche that's crying out to God from that from
-
that depth. Yes, So that that makes this well, it it gets
-
your attention, Yes, is what it does. It gets your attention.
-
Now, ladies and gentlemen, take note that this this word in its plural
-
form basically found in what four verses five verse? I think it's five verses,
-
and you all need to take a look at those those passages. It's
-
it's interesting in its usage where it's at. And I can't I can't say
-
that enough that sometimes, ladies and gentlemen, this takes self edification. Now
-
this particular word here, not in not in the same regular form, but
-
this this this plural form here, because that's all you can say. It
-
is H forty six fifteen. Write that down forty six fifteen. It's H
-
forty six fifteen. Take a look at it in your spare time. But
-
we should have your attention at this point that something else is being talked about
-
here. And this got my attention, so I immediately began expecting something to
-
be in the next verse, because like I said, these verses go together.
-
This is eight versus long four stanzas of two verses each, so I
-
would expect another twin here to tell me about what I'm looking for. And
-
needless to say, this does come up in the very next verse, and
-
it says, Lord, hear my voice, let your years be attentive to
-
the voice of my supplications. Take a look at that in Hebrew, and
-
it'll get your attention, because this repeatedly comes up in only one place,
-
doesn't it O say yes, and it's enough to rattle your cage, ladies,
-
Jim, it's enough to get your attention when maybe when this happened with
-
one of the places in question, but not with both, not when God
-
is going to that sort of length to do this. Let's look at the
-
first time this phrase is used together. Are These are a combination of two
-
Hebrew words, ladies, Jim's forear basically or to listen h two forty one
-
and age seventy one point eighty three to listen or be attentive. These word
-
combinations repeatedly come up in the Strangers and Places Second Chronicles, Chapter six,
-
verse forty. This is dead pan in the middle of Solomon's dedication of the
-
temple. I quote, now, oh, my God, I pray,
-
let your eyes be open and your ears attentive to my prayer offered in this
-
place. The place he's talking about, is, of course, his temple.
-
God responds to this prayer in Second Chronicles, chapter seven, verse fifteen.
-
The very next chapter, God responds, by now my eyes will be
-
open and my ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place. Now you'd
-
think would end right there, but it's not, because when we go to
-
Nehemiah chapter one, verse six, the same thing is being reciprocated for the
-
second Temple. Let your ear now be attentive and your eyes open and hear
-
the prayer of your servant, which I am praying before you now today and
-
night on, behalf of the sons of Israel, your servants confessing the sins
-
of the sons of Israel which we have sinned against you. I and my
-
father's house have sinned. Five verses later, in verse eleven, Oh Lord,
-
I beseech you you may here and be attentive to the prayer of your
-
servant and the prayer of your servants, who delight to revere your name and
-
make your servants successful today in grant him compassion before this man. Now,
-
I was a cupbearer before the king. So here we go again. All
-
four of these verses are in direct reference to God's Temple. It's not a
-
reference to anything else the next time this phrase combination is here in the very
-
chapter that we're reading from. So now you have a serious how do you
-
put this? A serious conflict between verse one and verse two. You have
-
a serious conflict between these two verses because literally this coming up in Solomon's dedication
-
and in Nehemiah concerning the Second Temple. How on earth could you get any
-
closer to God at that point? Of course you couldn't. So why is
-
verse one saying what it's saying when you put this into proper context, knowing
-
that phrase, and you look at verse one and say not not wait a
-
minute, out of the depths? I cried to you, Oh Lord,
-
what depths could he possibly be talking about? Jose what's your thoughts? Well,
-
Matthew, I think it's it's very important that we understand that those verses
-
you just read are about the building the consecration of that temple. Boy,
-
I mean, you take that prophetically, Matthew, what God says about what
-
his what his temple is going to be, what that's going to consist of?
-
Who that who is that temple? You know, he's he's taking his
-
his ecclesia, he's taking his tech down Epigelia and joining them with his son
-
to create that house of God. Matthew, that temple for the Lord.
-
Repeatedly, the new test that we're told that our body, the body of
-
Christ, the body of believers, is that temple, and it's going to
-
be completed when you know, when Jesus returns. That's the completion of it,
-
right. It begins when when God himself steps off his throne on that
-
great and terrible day. But it's completed when his son is seated upon his
-
throne and is ruling and reigning. So, Matthew, we we understand where
-
this, where this psalm is on the timeline, and who could be crying
-
out from the depths, who could be in that place where they think that
-
they've been lost, that they've been cast out, that they they've missed their
-
chance, and essentially they they their only hope is that God himself raises them
-
and allows them to to participate in some way and that conceration of that temple.
-
Matthew, that's what I hear here. I hear those individuals in Revelation
-
chapter twenty crying out as they're asking God to finish it. Don't forget about
-
them. Every time that we've seen them, they've repeated themselves. Right,
-
Yes, every time we've seen them someone they were saying something, and someone
-
was repeating something. However, the third stanza, we have that very thing.
-
My soul waits for the Lord more than those who watch for the morning,
-
Yes, more than those who watch for the morning. Look at it,
-
and Hebrew has just got a differentiation of one prefix letter because it's reciprocated.
-
But basically it's the same phrase twice. And by this time everybody is
-
listening to me very closely because they realize that's right. We did talk about
-
this before. Every time you run into them, they're saying something and the
-
people in their train must reply. So naturally you would have looked, well,
-
somebody is going to be repeating something here, and sure it is.
-
In the third stanza, something is repeated. So you know, we do
-
have to talk about this, don't we. Jose where do these people go?
-
Right? I mean, where do you go? In the Great Tribulation?
-
If God orders death to flee from you, which he does in chapter
-
nine. Everybody needs to digest that and think about that for a minute.
-
You know, ladies and gentlemen, it really does make you scratch your head
-
when you realize what these are going through, what they've been through. And
-
certainly this group is not like anyone that has ever lived again, we should
-
say, because they're going to live again, but they're not like everybody else.
-
And it's pretty obvious from the songs of a Scent they've acquired total recall.
-
And I don't think you know it's easy how we can separate ourselves from
-
our past, right Jose, Yes. I mean I could tell of some
-
very you know, strenuous things that happened to me, but now I'm separated
-
from it, and even when I remember it and think back on that time,
-
I do not have the ability to remember. Let us say pain.
-
You can't remember pain, can you, Jose No, Matthew, we can
-
reminisce about pain, and we can tell people, yeah, it really hurt,
-
really bad. But ladies and gentlemen, you can't remember pain, either
-
you are experiencing pain or not. You cannot bring to mind a stubbed toe.
-
You can remember stubbing your toe, and you can remember that it hurt,
-
but you cannot recall the pain, can you, Jose No. It
-
would seem that this group is something different. They have The only way I
-
can describe it is an angelic ability of co recall. They're remembering things in
-
real time. They're actually able to remember these things. None of us can
-
do that. We quite simply cannot remember how something felt, the texture.
-
I mean, for example, you've played in a creek before, right when
-
you were a kid, Yes, Matthew, and you picked up rocks out
-
of the bottom of the creek bed right right, and they were cold and
-
they were smooth, right, Yes, can you remember them? No?
-
You can't. No, you can't close your eyes and feel that rock in
-
your hands, can you. No, Ladies, jentlemen, you can't remember
-
sensations. Something else is at play here, and whatever it is, obviously
-
the only correlation you can have to it is the sensation that those priests had
-
that went into God's temple. Now take note, we could even push this
-
further and say the Holy of Holies, but at least you could say the
-
Holy Place, and nobody could go into the Holy Place except the priest,
-
right, Jose, right now, the most holy place. The high priest
-
went in there once a year. But it seems like to me, the
-
use of this phraseology is saying that whatever sensation it is is the sensation that
-
those priests felt in the Holy place, which makes which makes for a pretty
-
good so long moment when you think about it, it really does catch your
-
attention. So, Jose, what's something he wanted to bring up before I
-
move on? Well, Matthew, I want to go back to verse six
-
says my soul waits for the Lord more than the watchman for the morning.
-
And of course it's repeated, which should draw our attention to that. But
-
when I read that, Matthew, that took me to John nine, verse
-
four, where God says that we must carry out the works of him who
-
sent me as long it is day, As long as it is day,
-
night is coming when no one can work. And we know that's talking about,
-
you know that great tribulation that when God stands up off his throne,
-
and you know, essentially God, God kicks things off right, and now
-
it's time for his his judgment, which is his wrath, to come down
-
on the earth and to begin the process to set up his son on the
-
throne. But what caught my eye in Matthew in that chapter was the previous
-
verse where Jesus says that it was neither that this man sinned nor his parents,
-
But it was so that the works of God might displayed might be displayed
-
in him. And boy, Matthew, if you that's perfectly describing to me
-
those in Revelations chapter twenty why they had to go through what they went through.
-
The sole purpose was to for God to display his glory, to display
-
his power and his might. And that's that's what I can I can kind
-
of get in this psalm what they're praying for, Matthew his you know God,
-
Yeah, we're we're in these depths are we can't work anymore? What
-
whatever work, whatever mission God had them on, they can no longer complete
-
because they essentially lost their head to the to the beast in Revelation chapter thirteen.
-
And so all they can do is wait and pray for God to show
-
everyone how powerful, how mighty, how faithful he is. Yeah, there's
-
a lot in that burst, Matthew that. Yeah, there's there's a lot
-
in that. Well, that's a perfect description of what we're talking about.
-
Let's remember how the Shendig began. Let's read about when they get marked for
-
death. After this, I saw four angels standing at the four corners of
-
the earth holding back the four winds of the Earth, so that no wind
-
would blow on the earth, or on the sea, or any tree.
-
And I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, having the
-
seal of the Living God, and he cried out with a loud voice to
-
the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea,
-
saying, do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees until
-
we have sealed the bond servants of our God on their foreheads, and then
-
they are left to die. The next chapter, you get their numbers,
-
you get exactly who what we're when is sealed from verse four all the way
-
to eight. And then we who are alive and remain are gathered and they
-
are left to their fate with the beast from the Abyss. Ladies and gentlemen,
-
you can't go no deeper than that, you know, the entertainment industry
-
has done a pretty good job dispen saved, rationalizing people's psyches. And this
-
group, this group has been left in the dark because of it, because
-
it's this group that's really marked for death and left behind so that the Beast
-
from the Abyss can butcher them. And that's what I was trying to say,
-
ladies and gentlemen, they're remembering this deep. They remember being marked for
-
death and left to die. They remember being marked for death and left to
-
be executed. So you know, one of the most important things that this
-
ministry does is make sure that everybody is up to speed on the end time
-
entities, right, Jose, Yes, let me ask you something. Let's
-
see if you can remember correctly. The two main things I've taught you is
-
the timeline and the endtime entities? Right? Right? Which one did I
-
teach you first? I think it was the endtime entities? Matthew, you
-
are correct, I did. I literally spent two years, Jose teaching you
-
the dtime entities. Yes. While I was teaching you this, you had
-
no idea what my prophecy model was, did you No, Matthew, you
-
had no idea. You for all you knew, I was a rapturist.
-
I spent two year years making sure you knew who was who before I told
-
you what was what, And I came up with some pretty ingenious ways to
-
do that. Right. Yeah. We gave them labels, we gave them
-
titles, and then we went looking for them. And tell me, Jose
-
where did we find them everywhere, Matthew. Everywhere we found were from Abraham's
-
children to Oh. I mean, yeah, just everywhere. You can find
-
them everywhere in the Bible. You can find them everywhere, even in the
-
Sons of Katura. Right, amen, Amen, because the Sons of kature
-
was sent to the East and there in Hebrew East as one forty four,
-
isn't it, Jose, Yes, you can find them everywhere. And of
-
course the east is the rising of the sun. And you'll say, no,
-
that's what I just read about this angel that marked for death. He
-
came from where the rising of the sun. It's encoded everywhere, if you
-
know what to look for, it's everywhere. Now we know why this angel
-
has marked this group. We can jump over to Revelation chapter twenty and read
-
all about it. Why this had been done. Then I saw thrones and
-
they that sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I
-
saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus
-
said, because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped
-
the beast or his image, and have not received the mark on their forehead
-
or on their hand, and they came to life and reigned with Christ for
-
a thousand years. Of course, now you know why. It has already
-
read it for you from Revelation chapter seven. Ladies and gentlemen, they couldn't
-
take the mark of the beast, could they, Jose? No, they
-
had been sealed by God. The mark wouldn't take, Ladies and gentlemen.
-
Even if the beast wanted to mark these with six sixty six, he could
-
not. They had been sealed with the seal of God. There was no
-
way for them to take the mark. They already had been sealed by God.
-
If you can't see that, wow, there's all so much you can't
-
see. There's so much that is obscuring your vision. You can't see the
-
timeline now, Jose, being able to say and experience this sides twenty twenty.
-
That really would be the case, wouldn't it a Jose, You yourself
-
would know that right. If you can't see who is who? INDI end
-
times you can not see the timeline. Clearly, your view is going to
-
be so obstructed. I'm going to waste my time if I come to you.
-
If I approach you and we begin to talk about things, and you
-
realize that man Matthew has some insight. Let's invite him to church, and
-
you are to invite me to your church. I would completely confuse you.
-
I would completely put you out of sorts because quickly you'd begin to understand that,
-
wait a minute, my psyche is not connected to my spirit. Because
-
Jose, how many times did I do this with you? I mean,
-
Jose, I didn't have to teach you as katology. You already knew it,
-
right. How many times did we cover chapters? And I was confusing
-
you because what we were reading was not lighting up with what you'd been taught,
-
right, would you say a couple of times? Or would you say
-
a couple of hundred times? Oh? Yeah, it was a lot,
-
Matthew. It was a lot what I had been taught. And also what
-
you know, what you overhear other Christians saying is going to happen in the
-
end times, and you know, when you actually sit down and read the
-
Bible, you're like, uh, this doesn't quite match up and it doesn't
-
kind of feel like what I've heard before. So I'm missing something here?
-
Yeah, definitely, Matthew. Because ladies and gentlemen, let me explain something
-
to you there is a prophecy model that can be attained through the plane reading
-
of scot That's what we have. We have a plane reading prophecy model.
-
And I'm here to tell you that if you ever see a preacher or a
-
teacher of the Bible stating that you can't trust the plane reading of scripture,
-
you better be weary of them, because this is what a plane reading of
-
a scripture will produce. It will produce the historic pre millennial model. That's
-
what every Christian was for the first three hundred years of Christianity. Everybody was
-
a historic pre millennial aschaologist, everybody, because you know what happens when you
-
plainly read the Bible, you plainly read the Bible, that there's a tribulation
-
at the end of it. Christ returns and sets up a literal millennial reign.
-
He literally sets up his kingdom. That's the plain reading of the text.
-
That's the only thing you can get from Genesis to Revelation. That's the
-
only thing you can get. These three terms greet tribe, mid tribe,
-
and post tribe were completely invented in the eighteen hundreds. They were completely invented.
-
It was the dispensationalists that invented those three terms. Because for the first
-
three hundred years of Christianity, all the way up to the eighteen hundreds,
-
guess what everybody knew there was a tribulation. Christ was returning and setting up
-
his kingdom, and in that order. Because that's what you get whenever you
-
read Isaiah, Jeremiah, Joseiah, Daniel, Matthew, Mark Luke, that's
-
what you always get. A plane reading of the Bible produces. It produces
-
an historic pre millennials model. Now what about us here? We are historic
-
pre millennials with the twist because you can prove emphatically via two sources that the
-
rapturists use, but take no. It is the Apocalypse of Elijah and phudo
-
Ephrim that both state what the Bible actually states. They state that before the
-
tribulation, the saints will be gathered. That's what they state. They're not
-
saying that you rapture to heaven. That's not what it's saying. That's exactly
-
Well, we can go through the list, can't we. Jose Yeah,
-
I mean, I mean how many times have we gone through that list here
-
on the program? I mean we'd have to say it's more than a couple
-
of times, right right, because God is literally ripped. Heats himself.
-
How many times he says it, it's literally off the hook. How many
-
times he says it. He says it, in it Ezekiel, Isaiah,
-
It's just it's redundant. Ladies and gentlemen, listen, harken to my voice.
-
Then it will happen in that day that the Lord will again recover the
-
second time with his hand the remen of his people who remain from Assyria,
-
Egypt, Aphos, Kush, e Lambshinar hey Methan, from the islands of
-
the sea. He will lift up a standard for the nations and assemble the
-
banished ones of Israel, and will gather to disperse of Judah. And just
-
so you realize when this is gonna happen, he takes you right back to
-
Revelation chapter seven. He finishes this verse with this, from the four corners
-
of the Earth, From the four corners of the Earth. Now, I
-
could just just rattle these off the top of my head, right, hose
-
Man, how many times have I done this? Because I had to memorize
-
the whole list when I was like sixteen years old, right, I mean,
-
we can pick one from another book. If nobody wants to hear anything
-
from Isaiah, I mean we could do that Ezekiel thirty six twenty four.
-
For I will take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands,
-
and bring you to your old land. What part of that don't you
-
understand, ladies and gentlemen. That's exactly what the last part of Revelation chapter
-
seven is about. It's just kind of hard to put together because he uses
-
last tense, present tension, future tints in the Greek. But you need
-
to know this God to the nth degree. He's going to gather you.
-
The problem is, as all of you are disconnected with where's that relationship to
-
the tribulation? That's your problem. It's before the tribulation. As a matter
-
of fact, he himself was going to do it, so that should tell
-
you it's on the great day of the Lord. I mean both verses I
-
just read to you. He was pretty plain he's going to do it,
-
first person tense. He himself is going to do it, right, Jose,
-
Yes he will. Is this not the order of First Thesalonians chapter five?
-
Yep? First Thessalonians chapter five. Theology? Is this so the Great
-
Day of the Lord starts the tribulation, and God's going to do something to
-
you on that day. Verse twenty three of that chapter states that God does
-
something to bring your som psyche numa. He preserves you himself those three your
-
three parts, your body or soul, your mind. He preserves you until
-
his son gets here. Isn't that what it says, Jose Yes it does,
-
Matthew. So this is what we are. We have an even more
-
plain reading of the text than the early Church father did. I don't have
-
a problem saying that. And if you think that you can prove me wrong,
-
well I strongly suggest that you a range a meet between yourself and me,
-
as long as you pay all my traveling expenses and all that good stuff,
-
because I'm poor. Jose Have you ever known me to be above the
-
poverty level? No, Matthew, So as long as you pay for my
-
expenses and stuff, we'll I have a shindig. I've forgotten more about God's
-
word than most of you know right now, and I think I've probably proved
-
that in the first part of this program, right Josel Absolutely, Matthew.
-
Probably time for us to talk about some Greek don't you think sure, I'm
-
sorry I was a bit long winded, there wouldn't I No, Matthew,
-
that's that's it's it's important though, too, to lay it out. People
-
need to People need to know what what the Bible actually says, regardless of
-
what you've been taught, regardless of what you you think you know. Reading
-
the Bible and seeing what it actually says, it's it's important, and it's
-
detrimental. It's it's detrimental, Matthew to our future, Well, we're definitely
-
gonna have to teach him that because we're going to take a look at verse
-
three in the Greek and strong concordance isn't going to help them, visit Jose.
-
No, I'm going to have to teach them where compound words come from.
-
Right, right, Ladies and gentlemen. When you go to any standard
-
resource, let's say blue letter Bible, bring up Blue Letter Bible, and
-
you look up the subtuagent for this verse, they won't have a strong number
-
for the very words you need to see in this third verse. Now,
-
way back in the beginning, this is one of the reasons why Jose would
-
contact me. He's like, hey, there's no strong number there, What
-
do I do? Right? Jose? Right, yep, ladies and gentlemen,
-
Let's let's take a look at verse three. We're going to read it
-
out of the Briton septuagent if thou, O Lord shouldest mark iniquities, O
-
Lord, who shall stand? You look at that in the online resources or
-
in paper resources, whatever, if you're at library, whatever. You're going
-
to take a look at that last word in Greek, and you're not going
-
to be able to find it in the strong concordance. You're going to bark
-
yourself up a tree. But I'll cut to the chase. There's only one
-
English word that is compatible with this Greek word. It's not used a whole
-
lot, but it's withstand withstand if one word in the dictionary, it's basically
-
two words put together with and stand. That's exactly what this is doing in
-
the Greek. So hose wy, don't you tell us about that word?
-
Well, Matthew, or I'm finding it where I'm looking it up in the
-
Greek in the set tu a gent. This is all relating to that,
-
to that great and terrible day of the Lord. And I'll just read one
-
verse for us, just to give us an idea, and nay whom Chapter
-
one, verse six, who shall stand before his anger? Who shall withstand
-
in the anger of his wrath? His wrath brings to not kingdoms, and
-
the rocks are burst asunder by him. So this is this is that that
-
great tribulation, Matthew. This is when when God kicks it off, you
-
know, the six seal event, right, So this this compound word,
-
you know what what it's what it's telling us, boy, Matthew, it's
-
it's not just it's not just uh, it's not a normal It's like you
-
said, it's not a normal just just standing up and being ready and and
-
being you know, at attention, waiting for God to do something, or
-
you know, or or standing in front of the judge. No, Matthew,
-
this is this is almost standing in front of the executioner and being being
-
able to withstand that, being able to survive that. And of course,
-
Matthew, we know physically we cannot we cannot withstand that, we cannot stand
-
before God and his anger and God and his his his full power. The
-
only way we can do that, Matthew, is if we are a part
-
of the body, a part of his son's body, we have the Holy
-
Spirit with us. We're prepared that that body has been prepared by Him to
-
withstand that. I mean that that's just the only way, Matthew, because
-
because you know we're we're going to be blown away. If if we're not,
-
if God hasn't sealed us right, if God himself or the Holy Spirit
-
hasn't hasn't set us apart, then then we're done. For Matthew. Well,
-
I mean, I'm surprised that you didn't bring up the one in Ezekiel
-
twenty two fourteen. That's where it really does it, reading from the Thompson,
-
Will thy heart endure, will thy hands be strong? In the day
-
I deal with thee I the Lord have spoken, and I will perform.
-
I mean, if you need a hint, you ain't got a clue,
-
and you probably never did have a clue. Right, okay, ladies and
-
gentlemen, this is he who sitteth upon the throne. And what is being
-
said? Why these words? Why this phrases us put here because you need
-
to understand what just happened. You need to understand what just happened. I
-
know there's a lot of people out there that run around and say that the
-
Book of Revelation is not in chronological order, and you know about their numbers.
-
I can only say this, there are many people in the United States
-
that have an IQ below of eighty, and I can't count that high.
-
But anyway, let's get back to the point. You need to understand what
-
is being stated here. These people were at the short end of god stick.
-
Did you not catch that? Did you not understand that God sent the
-
one who marks for death? He marked them, and he left them in
-
the outer darkness. He left them with the damn. Do you understand that
-
language? They got abandoned with the damned while you and I were gathered together.
-
And that's what these verses are saying. And whoever wrote it knew exactly
-
what to write to make sure the words in play would put a right on
-
the forehead of that group. No one could stand, ladies and gentlemen,
-
except these This is why they're not standing. This is why the versus what
-
it says. If you marked our iniquities, who could stand? Who could
-
withstand it? Ladies and gentlemen, Please understand what's at play here. Imagine
-
if you're this group. Imagine if you're this group, you're in church right,
-
Jose. Yes, you're not only a member. You go every Sunday
-
right right, and have the Great Day of the Lord kick off and take
-
notes, Lottie, Dottie. Everybody on the planet knows what's happening. Right.
-
Yes, what does that mean for you if you've been left out there
-
with them? Jose? How do you think that would feel to be marked
-
for death? Right? And you're gonna be told, by the way,
-
the whole reason why you're gonna die is because the martyrs that were martyred during
-
the birth pains, you have to finish their number so we can set everything
-
straight. You'd probably start stuttering at that point, wouldn't you, Jose,
-
because you'd be like, what, well, wait a minute, don't I
-
get to be the bride? Right, ladies and gentlemen if the rich people
-
and the kings and the slave and the free. God's pretty clear and to
-
the point on the six Seal event that you don't have any questions that from
-
that point forward you know with all your heart you've got one two hundred and
-
sixty days of tribulation and then his son's coming back. You will intimately know
-
that, whether you know it now or not, is beside the point you're
-
going to know it on that day. So imagine what will be going through
-
this group's mind. Imagine what's going to be going through the mind. Now
-
you understand what's at play here at Psalms one point thirty, because he's using
-
exactly the words I need to see, both in Hebrew and Greek. He's
-
making it so I cannot contradict what's going on here. There's there's no I
-
mean, let's take a Malich verse three or chapter three, verse two,
-
and who can abide the day of his coming or who can stand at his
-
appearance, since he is coming like fire of a refurnace, of a refiner's
-
furnace, and like soap of the foolers. I mean, if you need
-
a hint, you ain't got a clue what he's talking about. That's exactly
-
what this group had to do. That's exactly what this group had to do.
-
And they know from this point forward they will literally live in infamy.
-
I mean, imagine the tales they will be able to tell if you're in
-
one of their trains making the trip to the Promised Land. I mean,
-
I don't have a problem to say it. Hose you were raised with that
-
term, right, the promised land absolute And that's like an illegal phrase now,
-
isn't it right? But I don't have a problem using it. I
-
mean, imagine ladies and gentlemen the tails. They're going to be able to
-
tell as they go. They'll be able to give you detailed information nobody else
-
can give you. They'll be able to tell you exactly what it was like
-
in the tribulation. You won't have a clue, will you, Jose No,
-
Matthew. And I'm just I'm just thinking why God used that word psyche
-
here in this psalm. If if you're not marked, if you're not sealed,
-
what that's gonna do to your psyche? Matthew, How how insane that's
-
gonna make you knowing that it's gonna be like like God says, you're gonna
-
be weeping and gnashing your teeth, right, Yeah, that's the physical effects
-
that are going to happen to your psyche. So so that's the perfect word
-
that God uses to show just how just how traumatic, how how how crazy
-
it's going to be. I mean, it's just unless you're unless you're sealed,
-
unless you've been redeemed by God boy, Matthew you're you're, you're,
-
you're going to try to kill yourself and you're not going to be able to
-
death. Will flee from you? Amen, So let's talk about the last
-
riddle. It's almost time to close up, isn't it. Yes, it
-
is exposed, it's time to well, it's time to close up. Let's
-
take a look at this last stand and won't leave everybody with the riddle.
-
So, oh, Israel, hope in the Lord, for with the Lord
-
there's mercy, and with him is abundant redemption, and he shall redeem Israel
-
from all his iniquities. It's not that interesting. So so is this talking
-
about Well, let me ask you a question. I say, did you
-
look at this in the Hebrew or the Greek? No? I haven't yet,
-
Matthew know. So it's a good question as to whether this should be
-
from all his iniquities or from all of their right iniquities? Right? Right?
-
Because it's okay if this is talking about the person that used to be
-
Jacob, right right, because then it would be in a singular tense,
-
right. Yes, If it's talking about the children of Israel, it should
-
be in the plural form, right, correct. So why is this saying
-
his isn't that interesting? Do you not know? Have you not heard?
-
Jose prees out of here place? Dear heavenly Father, whom we love and
-
serve, and whom we think continuously, for allowing us to gather together as
-
a body, as your ecclesia, as a group of believers who want to
-
know and underst stand your word, and know and understand what you have the
-
work that you have given us to do. Lord, Father, I asked
-
that you open the ears of the listener, that they be attentive to everything
-
that you've given them in your word. All we have to do is simply
-
read it. Father, and with our brothers and sisters together, you have
-
promised that your Son and your Holy Spirit will be there to guide us in
-
understanding. So Lord, I just asked that you help the listener. You
-
bless the listener, give them strength, give them faith to believe everything that
-
you have written, Lord, because you have left it there for us to
-
understand what is to come, and you have left it there for us to
-
understand you, to understand your son, and to understand your Holy Spirit.
-
Father. And I ask as times get more strenuous, times get more perilous
-
and we can get swallowed up by the troubles of this world. That when
-
we read your word, Lord, you remind us about your work, about
-
your will, about the important things, about the beatitudes, about your ten
-
Commandments, that you remind us everything that you've given us, Father, to
-
help to withstand what is to come. And Lord, I pray for the
-
ministers of not only this ministry, but those ministries that are trying to do
-
your work, Father, those ministries that are spreading your gospel, spreading the
-
love of your Son, and spreading those fruits of the spirit that you have
-
asked us to deliver to the world. Lord, I ask all these things
-
in the name of your Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
-
Amen. Amen, and Amen, ladies and gentlemen. Until next time,
