-
Nigh. Welcome, Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to the program. We are
-
your host, Mariah and Matthew. Tonight we have another episode in addition to
-
the Fundamentals series. And I love how Mariah titled this. She titled this
-
in a way that won't get your attention, because well, I'll just give
-
it to you. It's God the Trinity. Now, all of us are
-
used to saying God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.
-
I've never heard this said God the Trinity. I've never heard that.
-
So it's amazing how her insight is just it's just well, it's it's I
-
couldn't name it God the Father, God the Son, the Holy Spirit because
-
it'd be too long, because it'd be too long. Right, So give
-
us your opening comments on this. Why why why did you choose this?
-
Because I did not. You chose this next in the series. As a
-
matter of fact, you're the one that chose the series to begin with.
-
Well as we've talked about before. The reason why I wanted to start this
-
series was because there are certain things that you can't You can't say that you're
-
a Christian if you don't believe this, because there are just there are just
-
certain things you can't deny as a Christian, and God the Trinity is one
-
of those things. If you walk up to someone and you say, hey,
-
do you believe in the Trinity, and they say, oh, Jesus
-
wasn't God, you would say, Holy Cow, which which cult is this
-
guy from? That's my initial thought whenever I talked to If I ever talked
-
to someone, if they say anything sideways from God is the Trinity, I
-
will not only I would feel very I would not only feel uncomfortable, but
-
I would probably also feel offended if you if you imply anything even close to
-
the idea that away from God the Trinity insinuating anything like Jesus isn't God,
-
or the Father is and the Son or the Holy Spirit isn't part of the
-
anything like that, I will immediately become a very worry of you. And
-
I think as Christians the Trinity is one of our it's one of it's one
-
of the biggest parts of our testimony, our gospel is God, the Trinity.
-
If we don't, you know, if we don't believe that Jesus is
-
God, what's the point of believing in Jesus. We don't believe in Jesus,
-
what's the point of what's the point of being a Christian? Right?
-
There is no point? I mean, you're not a Christian, okay,
-
if you don't believe that Jesus Christ went from being the Son of God to
-
God the Son. And if you don't believe, then there's no point in
-
you professing Christ. There's no point in you professing Jesus because he didn't die
-
for your sin. So what it matter? So you're absolutely right about that.
-
It's just that I never looked at it. And yes, everything you
-
said is true. If if anybody denies the Trinity, Okay, immediate walls
-
go up, immediate walls of protection. And you stated it, right,
-
which cult are you a part of? That's the only I mean, really,
-
you'd stated what your conscience would naturally, Yeah, lend credence to this
-
is not a Christian. This is something by far worse. Uh. This
-
is someone who says they're a Christian because they haven't written their own book.
-
Someone who wants to take bits and pieces of someone else's book and make their
-
own story and make their own which is the tale of a cult. Yep.
-
That is a cult anny cult. So you you put that in such
-
a very simplistic and easy way that even though I hadn't verbalized it, you're
-
describing exactly what's what happens to me. And you're right, it is God
-
the Trinity. If you step on that, you're you're the enemy. Okay
-
you may think you're not my enemy, but you most certainly are the enemy
-
if you do not hold to the fundamental fact of the Trinity. Yep.
-
So I had some comments with you about this. You said you wanted to
-
make a document, and you you did, you put together the document.
-
But I see that that my two interjections have floated to the top. Oh,
-
because that's because well, verse John five seven eight was the first one
-
that you gave me, that verse before even started. And then Genesis,
-
the Genesis one one through five goes very well with Genesis one one through eighteen,
-
which I already had on there. And Genesis one one through eighteen is
-
by far that is the one passage that proves to me beyond a shadow of
-
a doubt that the Trinity is true. If you if you don't believe John.
-
The first chapter in John is describing the trinity and is concrete proof of
-
the trinity and is literally telling you what the trinity is. You are I
-
don't know what's going on with you. Maybe you haven't read it. But
-
if someone were to say that to me and be like, you haven't read
-
it, you have a completely opposite thought process of me. And this is
-
the truth. If I was going to start laying out a set of tracks
-
leading to the truth, I would not begin laying the track with John Chapter
-
one. I wouldn't. And you state just the opposite. You would state
-
that, no, no, this is where you start. So you're taking
-
me by surprise again. I mean, this is the chapter that explained the
-
trinity to me. You mean, independent of your mother and I. When
-
you're reading the Bible, this one explained it to you. Really. When
-
I was younger, Mom had me read this chapter and I never really understood
-
what it was about. So when I was older, I went and read
-
the chapter, got to understand what it was about. And that was actually
-
when I was trying to read all four of the Epistles, and I started
-
reading, and I was like, oh, so this is about the Trinity.
-
Obviously, let me correct you. Just here. Okay, you almost
-
said apostles, and then you set epistles. It's the Gospels. It's not
-
the apostles. It's not the epistles. It's the four Gospels. But anyway
-
you want to apostles, it doesn't matter. You have intrigued me that this
-
is where you would go. This is this is where God told you the
-
Trinity was independently of your mother and I. So you're going to have to
-
read this? Are Are you going to read all eighteen verses? Yep?
-
Okay, all right, we'll give a lot to read today, all right.
-
So so I do have to say this. The mainstream of this ministry
-
now has made a transition from New American Standard Bible to the New King James
-
Rtune, What are we doing this out? What? What did you?
-
This is an asp I just need to let everybody know what. But then
-
the verse that you gave me said, right, you said it had to
-
be MKJV. So that one is on KJV. The was it first John?
-
First John five th eight? That one's on KJV but everything else I
-
can spause A sp is the one that I like? All right? Then
-
read it for use all right. In the beginning was the Word, and
-
the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in
-
the beginning with God. All things came into being through him, and apart
-
from him, nothing came into being. That has come into being. In
-
him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light
-
shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. There came
-
a man sent from God, whose name was John. He came as a
-
witness to testify about the light, so that all might believe through him.
-
He was not the light, but he came to testify about the light.
-
There was the true light, which coming into the world, enlightens every man.
-
He was in the world, and the world was made through him,
-
and the world did not know him. He came into his own, and
-
those who were his own did not receive him. But as many as received
-
him to them. He gave the right to become children of God, even
-
to those who believe in his name, who were born not of blood,
-
nor of the will of flesh, nor of the will of man, but
-
of God. And the word became flesh dwelt among us, and we saw
-
his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of
-
grace and truth. John testified about him and cried out, saying, this
-
is he of whom I said, He comes after me, has a higher
-
rank than I, for he existed before me. For of his fullness we
-
have all. For of his fullness we have all received, and grace upon
-
grace. For the law was given through Moses, grace and truth were realized
-
through Jesus Christ. No one has seen God at any time, the only
-
Begotten God, who is in the bosom of the Father. He has explained
-
him. Now I'm going to tell you what this passage is talking about,
-
because you can't. You can't know unless you understand the Word of God is
-
the Spirit and the word. Okay. So it says in the beginning was
-
the word, the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
-
That's the spirit. Okay. So you need to understand that everybody else thinks
-
that the word is Jesus, not the spirit. So you're saying that the
-
Word is the spirit. I'm getting to that, okay. All right,
-
All things came into being through him in apartment. Nothings came to being.
-
That came into being, and him was life, and life was the light
-
of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not
-
comprehend it. Did it say that the Word was the light? Or did
-
he say that the Word was the life. Did he say the Word is
-
the life? No? No, it said that in him was life,
-
and the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
-
Do we have God, We have the Word, and we have the
-
light. The Word there was the true light, which coming into the world,
-
into the world, enlightens every man. The Word became flush and dwelt
-
among us. The Spirit came down and became the light which was in him.
-
So so you're talking about the instance of the transfigured, Well, I'm
-
talking about the baptism where the Holy Spirit descended on him like a dove.
-
No, I'm talking about the virgin birth where the Holy Spirit came down and
-
gave Jesus to Mary, who was born of the Holy Spirit. Is he
-
not? Yeah, yes he is. But once again, you're you're you're
-
I naturally assumed you were talking about when the Spirit descended on him like a
-
death. I mean you coming up with I mean, yes, the only
-
spirit overshadowed Mary, And yeah, that's just there is a neural pathway in
-
my mind and you just created new ones. Just what you said was true.
-
But I never would have come at it like that. Okay, So
-
now that I've presented this to you, let's read it again with this in
-
mind, so that we can fully understand it. In the beginning was the
-
Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
-
He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through him,
-
and apart from him, nothing came into being. That has come into
-
being. In him was life, and life was the light of men.
-
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
-
There came a man sent from God whose name was John. He came as
-
a witness to testify about the light, so that all might believe through him.
-
He was not the light, but came to testify about the Light.
-
Did he say that John came to testify about the Word. No, No,
-
no he did not. No he didn't. I just yeah, I
-
just now got that. Just now, there was the true light, which
-
coming into the world enlightens every man. He was in the world, and
-
the world was made through him. The world did not know him. He
-
came into his own, and those who were his own did not receive him,
-
But as many as received him to them he gave the right to become
-
children of God, even to those who believe in his name. Now when
-
it says there was the true light which coming into the world enlightens every man.
-
He was in the world, and the world was made through him.
-
Because Jesus was what Jesus was with the spirit. Because before the spirit was
-
Jesus, the Word was with God. So before the spirit being, It's
-
like you have God the Father and got the spirit before the spirit came down,
-
before God had Jesus become part Am I trying to say, before Jesus
-
was concepted and Mary? Right before then? What before then? He was
-
in the spirit who Jesus. Okay, Jesus was in the spirit. In
-
him was life and in him. Yes, so Jesus was there in the
-
beginning, right in the spirit. He came into his own, and those
-
who were his own did not receive him, But as many as received him
-
to then he gave me the right to become the children of God, even
-
to those who believe in his name, who were born not of blood,
-
nor of the will of flesh, nor of the will of man, but
-
of God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we
-
saw his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full
-
of grace and truth. John testified about him, saying, this was he
-
of whom I said, He who comes after me has a higher rank than
-
I, for he existed before me. Or of his fullness we have all
-
received and grace upon grace, for the law was given through Moses. Grace
-
and truth were realized through Jesus Christ. No one has seen God at any
-
time, the only Begotten God, who is in the bosom of the Father.
-
He has explained him. Okay, Now, the reason why this passage
-
is so important to me when explaining the Trinity is because a lot of people
-
don't understand. They're like, how is that possible? How is how does
-
Jesus and this? How does God, the Son, God the Spirit,
-
and God the Father all connect? How does that? How can they all
-
be one? God? And this passage explains that we are not a we
-
are not a religion that believes in three gods. We are a religion that
-
believes in one God of three. And this passage explains that because before you,
-
before you do any digging in the Trinity, you have to understand that
-
the Trinity is one. You cannot go into it without understanding that the Trinity
-
is one person. And if you go into that, if you go into
-
that not fully understanding, not believing that the Trinity is one, then your
-
whole study of it will be confused. You have to understand. And a
-
lot of people don't, you know, They know they're supposed to believe that
-
the Trinity is one, but they don't really understand it. And so this
-
passage read in that way is going to help you understand it. The Word
-
is God the Spirit, and then you have God mentioned that's God the Father,
-
and you have the Light and the life that is Jesus. And if
-
you go into this understanding that and read this passage, it will help you
-
understand. You need to read it independently to fully get it. You go
-
ahead and do that, Okay, But it does not say that John testified
-
about the word. John did not need to testify about the word. He
-
came to testify about the life. He came to testify about the flesh,
-
which the word became I'm and now I'm about to do something else, But
-
I wanted to talk today also about me unpardonable sin, because the unpardonable sin
-
coincides with the trinity for this exact reason, and understanding the trinity will help
-
you understand the unpardonable sin, because it did for me. So I'm going
-
to go to my next passage, which is Matthew twelve twenty two through thirty
-
two, but I might read all the way to forty five, and this
-
is the passage describing the unpardonable sin. Then a demon possessed man who was
-
blind and mute, was brought to Jesus, and he healed him so that
-
the mute man might so that the mute man spoke and saw, and the
-
crowds were amazed and were saying, this cannot be the son of David,
-
can he? But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, this man
-
cast out demons only by Felsible, the ruler of demons. And knowing their
-
thoughts, Jesus said to them, any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste,
-
and any city or house divided against itself will not stand. If Satan
-
cast out Satan, he is divided against himself, How then will his kingdom
-
stand if by bees? If I, by feasible cast out demons, by
-
whom do your solf cast them out? For this reason, they will be
-
your judges. But if I cast out demons by the spirit of God,
-
then the kingdom of God has come upon you. Or how can anyone enter
-
a strong man's house and carry off his property unless he first finds the strong
-
man, and then he will plunder his house. He who is not with
-
me is against me, And he who does not gather with me scatters.
-
Therefore, I say to you any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people,
-
but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven. Whoever speaks a word against
-
the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him. But whoever speaks against
-
the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him. Either in this age
-
or in the age who come, either make the tree good and its fruit
-
good, or make the tree bad and it's fruit bad. For the tree
-
is known by its fruit. You brood of vipers, How can you,
-
being evil, speak what is good for the mouth speaks out of that which
-
fills the heart. The good man brings out of his good treasure what is
-
good, and the evil man brings out of his evil treasure what is evil.
-
But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall
-
give an accounting for it in the day of judgment. For by your words
-
you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned. Now,
-
Jesus is mad, right, he is thoroughly angry. He wants nothing
-
to do. And you realize this is in response to what they said about
-
you cast out demons by the spirit of fusible right, that is disrespect to
-
the spirit, that is the unpardonable sin. When the Pharisee says, this
-
is not the holy spirit, this is the spirit of feelsible. And Jesus
-
it is thoroughly angry. But then then some of the scribes and pharisees said
-
to him, Teacher, we want to see a sign from you. But
-
he answered and said to them, an evil, adulterous generation craves for a
-
sign, and yet no sign will be given to it, but the sign
-
of Jonah, the prophet, for just as Jonah was three days and three
-
nights in the belly of the sea monster, So will the son of Man
-
be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. The men
-
of Nineveh will stand up with this generation at the judgment and will condemn it,
-
because they repented at the preaching of Jonah. And behold, something greater
-
than Jonah is there. The Queen of the South will rise up with this
-
generation at the judgment and will condemn it because she came from the ends of
-
the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon. And behold, something greater than
-
Solomon is there. Now, when the unclean spirit goes out of a man,
-
it passes through waterless seeking rest, and does not find it. Then
-
it says, I will return to my house from which I came. And
-
when it comes, it finds it unoccupied, swept and put in order.
-
Then it goes and takes along with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself,
-
and they go in and live there, and the last state of that
-
man becomes worse than the first. This is the way that it will also
-
be with this evil generation. All right, let's talk about this. So
-
why is it the unpardonable sin to disrespect the spirit that is because the Spirit
-
be good Jesus. And if you disrespect the Spirit, you disrespect the Holy
-
begodding of Jesus through the virgin birth. And if you disrespect Jesus, you
-
disrespect the Salvation. And if you disrespect the Salvation, you disrespect God.
-
That is why this is the unpardonableson. Oh my gosh. But I tell
-
you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for
-
in the day of judgment. Do not speak a careless word about the spirit.
-
The Spirit is a powerful The Holy Spirit is a powerful thing, and
-
it is very what's the word people use, underrated? The Holy Spirit is
-
underrated if you think about it nowadays in this generation, when people talk about
-
the Holy Spirit, they do not talk about it with as much reverence and
-
respect as they do God and the Son. In fact, if you talk
-
to church people about the Holy Spirit, they speak about it as if it
-
is theirs and it is ours, it is our gift. But the Holy
-
Spirit is also God, and we need to treat it with such reverence as
-
it is. And in your opinion, this passage clearly speaks of the Trinity.
-
I'm saying that understanding this passage speaking about the unpardonable sin helps you understand
-
the Trinity, and understanding the Trinity helps you understand the unpardonable sin and the
-
fact that they came back and continued to disrespect it. They say, we
-
want to sign. Prove to us that you are the son of God.
-
Prove to us that you have the Holy Spirit and not the spirit of felsible.
-
Prove to us, show us a sign if you're so good, teacher,
-
So time out. Who list describe this entity? So they were,
-
who is this builds the golden What is it? It says, the king
-
of demons? That's right, it says, the King of So what's a
-
demon? That's a lot of feeling that you taught me how you want me
-
to go? Well, I mean a demon is an evil spirit, an
-
unclean spirit, thought of as very dirty in the Jewish beef. Well,
-
this is the first time I've ever heard this put like this, because you
-
what you're saying is that Jesus he was begotten of the Holy Spirit, and
-
these demons were not. And they are attributing what Jesus is doing not to
-
the Holy Spirit, to the furthest thing from it and the furthest thing from
-
it is the first first born son among the demons, And tell me who
-
begot these demons? Who is their father? Satan? So it is painfully
-
obvious. But what you're saying is true, It's just I've never heard it
-
in that light. The Pharisees were saying, no, the Holy Spirit didn't
-
beget Jesus. The Holy Spirit beget paleople. What they're doing is they were
-
calling the Holy Spirit a lie. And they were saying, the work of
-
the Holy Spirit is the work of the most unclean Spirit, not the only
-
begotten son, but have be but the work of these unclean spirits, that
-
work be gotten by Satan. I've never seen that in this light. I've
-
got to be honest with you, I've never none. So Jesus after he
-
after he, what would you say? He scolded them, He admonished them
-
for speaking this way about the Holy Spirit. Then they turn it around and
-
they say, prove to us that you have the Holy Spirit, in which
-
case they were also disrespecting the Holy Spirit and saying that the Holy Spirit did
-
not be got Jesus. So they disrespected it twice over. They just made
-
their sin that was already heaped on their heads so much worse. I mean,
-
they heard him condemn them for disrespecting the spirit. And they turn around
-
and they say, oh, well, prove to us, so show us
-
a sign so that we know that you're gone. Show us a sign,
-
teacher, And he turns around and said, an evil and adulterous generation craves
-
for a sign, and yet no sign will be given to them but the
-
sign of Jonah the prophet. And it's perfectly obvious who's he referring to.
-
Who they are committing adultery with. They're committing adultery with Bill Zibel. And
-
I didn't realize that until you just brought this up. That's why Jesus said
-
this. You're a wicked and adulterous generation. You are playing the harlot with
-
unclean spirits. I never I never saw that this text in that life.
-
I don't know how you saw it. I don't know how you saw John
-
one as the proof text for God the Trinity. I mean, now you've
-
got me saying it God the Trinity. And the important thing about this and
-
John one is that it describes to us how important the spirit is. And
-
it's making you perfectly clear that the Spirit is life. The Spirit is God.
-
I mean yes, yes, the Spirit is our gift. Yes,
-
the Holy Spirit is with us and it's in us. But he is God.
-
He is one with God the Father and God the Son. Without the
-
Holy Spirit, God the Father and God the Son could not be one.
-
Gotcha. They are equal, right, they are what got the Son,
-
God the Father got the skire gotcha. And that's that's why these passages are
-
important. Because so you're telling me why these passages are important. I appreciate
-
that. And and I see you're You're absolutely right. The taking of God's
-
word is polysynic. So this is only one way it's important. But yes,
-
uh, I can clearly see that now, whereas before I did not.
-
All right, So where do you want to go from here? I
-
think now it just comes to now that we've proven why the Trinity is important,
-
now we can talk about how the Trinity is proven. Okay, where
-
in the Bible does it prove the Trinity that we can't say we are a
-
Christian yet not believe the Trinity. Where in the Bible does it specifically speak
-
of the Trinity. I think a good place if you start with, a
-
good place to start with p verse John five seven through eight, which is
-
the worst that you gave me, which you immediately had problems with because it's
-
not in most modern translations. It's not there. So let me read that
-
host stanzas shall I. I'm going to read first John six, seven and
-
eight. Now take note, if I try to bring this up in the
-
New American Standard Bible, it removes most of the Greek phrases. Yeah,
-
so I'm gonna read the whole stanza here as it appears in the New King
-
James version. This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ.
-
Not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is
-
the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are
-
three that bear witness in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the
-
Holy Spirit. And these three are one. And there are three the bear
-
witness on earth, the Spirit, the Water, and the Blood. And
-
these three agree as one. You cannot separate the Trinity from these three verses.
-
That's why the modern translations separate these verses from the Bible. That's why
-
they do it. But take note, this is reading exactly how John won
-
through eighteen read. It's reading in basically the same way. And take note
-
for John thirteen fourteen, who were born not from blood, nor the will
-
of the flesh, nor the will of man, but God, and the
-
Word became flesh and wealth among us. We saw his glory, glory not
-
only be gotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. So you
-
realize that the verses I just read are built around these two verses. They're
-
built around them and in the same light, in the same context. So
-
you're absolutely correct that these are the go to verses. And because you cannot
-
separate the Trinity from them, those who hate God had to separate these verses
-
from the Bible. And that's exactly what they did. That's exactly what they
-
did, And that's pretty important for everybody to know that if you're reading this
-
out of New American Standard Bible, you are not getting any of it.
-
New American Standard Bible reads as such. Verse seven is for these are the
-
three that testify the Spirit, the Water, and the Blood, and the
-
three are in agreement. That removed most of what it said. The only
-
way they could do that was just remove the verses from the Bible. But
-
we know these verses are true because these verses are in the text of the
-
Adido Regia. Where did we get the chapters and verses from? To begin
-
with the Adido Regia manuscript step Fanus fifteen fifty. That is the New Testament
-
that was ratified by every member of Christ Church on the place at the time.
-
That is why, Mariah, your New Testament has these chapters and verses.
-
That's why the whole planet knew it. All the German people, all
-
the Great people, all the French people, all the Italian people, everybody
-
on the planet in fifteen fifty solidified this is the Bible, Gods old work.
-
So if you separate these verses from the Bible, you're separating them from
-
God's Word. That's the only way they could do it. So these are
-
obviously your go to text. That's why you know this is part and parcel
-
with why this ministry has switched over to the inn KJV. I mean,
-
as long as you take a pencil and mark out in the New King James
-
version Luke, chapter seventeen, verse thirty six, you have the ideal Regia.
-
Why did they add it? Because stefanis in his fourth edition in fifteen
-
fifty one, he took that verse Luke seventeen thirty six, and he had
-
him in the footnotes, not in the text in the footnotes, but the
-
translators inserted into the text itself. So if you take a pencil and mark
-
out Luke seventeen thirty six from the new Team James version, you actually have
-
a solid translation of the iddology. So that's very important. So what would
-
you use as your next proof text? I'm curious to find out. Don't
-
know it off the top of your head? Huh? I do I have
-
it on Matthew twelve? Okay, we just talked about Matthew twelve. Matthew,
-
did we? Yeah, we just talked about Matthew twelve. Twenty two
-
through thirty two? Is what you just did? Well? No worried fifteen
-
to come one? Okay, all right, so what's that say? But
-
Jesus, aware of this, withdrew from there. Many followed him, and
-
he healed them all and warned them not to tell who he was. This
-
was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the Prophet. Behold, my servant,
-
whom I have chosen, my beloved, in whom my soul is well
-
pleased, I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall proclaim justice
-
to the gentiles. He will not quarrel nor cry out, nor will anyone
-
hear his voice in the streets. Oh sing some and a battered read will
-
not break off, And a smoldering wick he will not put out until he
-
leads justice to victory. And in his name the gentiles will hope. That's
-
just me, that's proof that Jesus is God. In the passage says it
-
right here, my beloved, and whom I soul as well pleased, I
-
will put my spirit upon him, and he shall proclaim justice to the gentiles.
-
And then I have another one in Isaiah to then I shoot will oh
-
sorry, this is Isaiah eleven one, one through two. Then a shoot
-
will spring from the stem of Jesse, A branch from his roots will bear
-
fruit. The spirit of the Lord will rest on him, the spirit of
-
wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge
-
and fear of the Lord. Just another one talking about how Jesus is part
-
of a trie. I mean, if there's a whole bunch of verses in
-
the Bible, if you don't believe that Jesus is in the Spirit and the
-
God are all part of the Trinity, you're crazy. Next one, this
-
is just one that I thought was a good message about Jesus, which Isaiah
-
talks about prophesying that Jesus will come. Okay, who has believed in our
-
message? And who has the arm of the and to whom has the arm
-
of the Lord been revealed? He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
-
like a root out of parched ground. He had no stately form or
-
majesty that we should look upon him, nor appearance that we should be attracted
-
to him. He was despised and forsaken of men, the man of sorrows,
-
acquainted with grief, and like one from whom men hide their face.
-
He was despised, and we did not esteem him. And you say,
-
this is clearly talking about Jesus. Yeah, I'm just talking about Jesus.
-
Who else is you're talking about? Okay, I'm just making shore, all
-
right. And then we have John fourteen one through seven, which, really,
-
oh my goodness, this one just talks all up and down. Jesus
-
is the son of God. Okay, go ahead, read it. Let
-
your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me and my
-
father's house are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would
-
have told you, for I go to prepare a place for you. If
-
I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive
-
you to myself. That where I am there you may be awesome. And
-
you know the way where I am going. Thomas said to him, Lord,
-
we do not know where you're going. How do we know the way?
-
And Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth,
-
and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me. If
-
you had known me, you would have known my father. Also from now
-
on, you know him and have seen him. Philip said to him,
-
Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us. And
-
Jesus said to him, have I been so long with you and yet you
-
have not come to know me? Philip, he who has seen me has
-
seen the Father. How can you say, show us the Father? Do
-
not believe that I am the Father and the Father is in me. The
-
words that I say to you, I do not speak on my own initiative.
-
But the Father abiding in me, does his works. Believe me that
-
I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Otherwise, believe
-
because of the works themselves truly. Truly, I say to you, he
-
who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also,
-
And greater works than these he will do. Because I go to the
-
Father. Whatever you ask in my name, that I will do, so
-
that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything
-
in my name, I will do it. If you love me, you
-
will keep my commandments. I will ask the Father, and he will give
-
you another helper, that he may be with you forever. That is the
-
spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive because it does not see him
-
or or know him. But you know him because he abides with you and
-
will be in you. This just proves up and down Jesus is the Son
-
of God. I mean, there's this there's this video on the internet that
-
went around for a while. It was this celebrity talking about how he was
-
a Christian and he was in an interview and he was asked, why are
-
you a Christian? And he said, I just can't believe. I find
-
it hard to believe that this guy changed that the world. Whole world was
-
changed to such a drastic extent, and so many people were moved in such
-
a positive way by some crazy old man. Jesus said he is the son
-
of God. He did not only say he is the son of God.
-
He said he is one with the Father. The Father is in him,
-
and he is with the Father. You know him because he abides with you
-
and will be in you. Dan. Then he talks about the Spirit.
-
He says, truly, I say to you, he who believes in me
-
the works that I do, he will do also, He says, do
-
you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me?
-
Have I been so long with you and yet you have not come to
-
know me. Jesus is in the Spirit and the Father, and he If
-
you don't believe when Jesus says this, if you don't believe this, you
-
don't believe Jesus. And if you don't believe Jesus, you think he's just
-
a crazy person. And if you think he's just a crazy person, you
-
don't believe anything. You might as well not read anything in the Bible at
-
all. You might as well not even read the entire New Testament. If
-
you're not gonna read the entire New Testament, don't even think about reading the
-
Old Testament. It's useless. What good is the Old Testament without the New
-
Testament? What good is Isaiah without Matthew? What good is it going to
-
do you? I mean, sure you're gonna be able to walk down the
-
streets and talk about how high and mighty you are because you read uh Deuteronomy.
-
You know uh, you know what, you know the Ten Commandments,
-
you know what it means to sacrifice to God. And yet you switch over
-
to the New Testament. You don't believe in Jesus. You don't believe that
-
the sacrifice God gave you. So what's the point of the sacrifice you gave
-
him? I'm sorry? What did you just say? If you don't believe
-
the sacrifice that God gave you, what good is the sacrifice you gave him?
-
I see your point? What good? If you don't believe this passage,
-
do not open your bible. If you don't believe Jesus is the son
-
of God be gotten through the spirit. If you don't believe in the trend,
-
if you don't believe Jesus when he says something, do not open your
-
bible. Because the word of Jesus is the word of God. That's why
-
they highlight it. Where's not not going to add or take away from that.
-
So what's the next question? All right there, The next ones are
-
the ones that you gave me, So we'll start. Yeah, well,
-
you gave me some about Trinity, and then I, well, you only
-
gave me like a couple of verses, so I put in the whole.
-
Okay, So the next thing is John four two through twenty six. You
-
worship what you do not know. We worship what we know. More.
-
Salvation is from the Jews. But an hour is coming, and now is
-
when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth. For such
-
people, the Father speaks to be his worshippers. God is Spirit, and
-
those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth. The woman said to
-
him, I know that Messiah is coming, he who is called Christ.
-
When the one comes, he will declare all things to us to us,
-
and Jesus said to her, I who speak to you, am he Jesus
-
is the Messiah. When she made the reference to the Messiah, she was
-
obviously making a reference to the truth, right. But he said, when
-
the true worshippers will worship the Father and spirit and in truth. For such
-
people, the Father seeks to be his worshipers. God is spirit, and
-
those who worship him must worship and spirit him. Truth. Do you want
-
to speak on that verse? Is the other one that gave it to me?
-
Well, I would? You have put it in a completely different light.
-
And I'm a calculator, And in order to calculate, you you have
-
to look at something first. You have to care it apart and divide it.
-
Okay, really, you have to divide it. You have to put
-
it into smaller portions, reduce it to its lowest common denominator right in the
-
you just presented this these verses that I gave you. I'm not going to
-
touch that with ten football because I have not had time to in this light
-
break this down to its lowest common denominator in that light. Okay, So
-
that's as much as you're going to get out of me. Okay, Well,
-
I will say this in spirit and truth? What do we know is
-
the truth? Jesus is the Son of God. We know that that's the
-
truth. And we also know that he states in this verse he is the
-
Messiah and it's in the Bible. So it's true. Well he didn't say
-
it's she will, No, he said I who speak to you, am
-
he am he? And she had said she had talked about the Christ.
-
So yeah, he was agreeing with her in an absolute way. To this
-
verse again, groof on proof, up and down. He is son of
-
God, proof on proof. Huh. I mean he said it himself once
-
again. He said it in himself, And we must believe. How do
-
I put this any other way? If you don't believe Christ, you don't
-
believe a thing, all right. The next one is sixteen John sixteen twelve
-
through fifteen. I have many more things to say to you, but you
-
cannot bear them now. But when He the Spirit of Truth comes, he
-
will guide you into all the truth. For he will not speak on his
-
own initiative. But whatever he hears, he will speak, and he will
-
disclose you what is to come. You'll glorify me, for he will take
-
of mine and will disclose it to you. All things that the Father has
-
are mine. Therefore I said that he takes of mine and will disclose it
-
to you. All things that the Father has are mine. Let's read that
-
again. When He the Spirit of Truth comes, he will guide you into
-
all truth. For he will not speak on his own initiative, but whatever
-
he hears, he will speak. He will disclose to you what is to
-
come. He will glorify me, that is the spirit. He will glorify
-
me, for he will take of mine and will disclose it to you.
-
All things that the Father has are mine. Therefore I said, he takes
-
of mine and will disclose it to you. Trinity, the Trinity. Huh.
-
This is describing the Trinity communicating all all things that the Trinity, what
-
the Spirit has, Jesus has, what Jesus has, God has, what
-
God has, the Spirit has. And this the Spirit is going to take
-
what God says, going to take what Jesus says, and it's going to
-
communicate it to us. He's the helper, right, So he's the bridge
-
between Christ and not yep, And that's what you've told me before. The
-
Holy Spirit is the bridge. He's going to disclose to us the truth,
-
the truth, which is what is to come. All right, any more,
-
verses, we're at the top of the aard already, already. Don't
-
have to pick which one I want to read. Well, you only have
-
two left, okay, make it quick. You're trying to rush, No,
-
go ahead, I was hoping you didn't catch that unfortunately, go ahead.
-
First John four one through six, Beloved, do not believe every spirit,
-
but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many
-
false prophets have gone out into the world. But this you know the spirit
-
of God. Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh
-
is from God. Notice, okay, let's read that again. By this
-
you know the spirit of God. Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has
-
come in the flesh is from God. You need me to read that again,
-
you can just read it yourself. And every spirit that does not confess
-
Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the Antichrist, of
-
which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in
-
the world. You are from God, little children, and have overcome them,
-
because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the
-
world. They are from the world. Therefore they speak as from the world,
-
and the world listens to them. We are from God. We who
-
knows. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not from
-
God does not listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth
-
and the spirit of error. Well, you realize that if you put these
-
verses together with the verses you mentioned before containing Belziple, there's no doubt about
-
it that the spirit of Antichrists mentioned here is in league with the spirit of
-
Belsiple. You realize that, right, just wanted to say that. The
-
most important thing to know that in verse two, when it says, by
-
this you know the Spirit of God. Spirit there is capitalized. It is
-
talking about the Spirit of God. Every other time when it mentioned spirit,
-
it's lowercase. I was talking about two different spirits. Here it's talking about
-
the Holy Spirit, and I'm talking about the spirit of a Christian. Right,
-
So it says by this you know the Spirit of God. Every spirit
-
that confesses, in other words, every person that confesses that Jesus Christ has
-
come in the flesh is from God. What is our entire thing been about.
-
If you do not say Jesus is of God, you are not of
-
the Holy Spirit. You're not a Christian. You don't believe that Jesus is
-
of God. So the next set of verses we already covered in the first
-
step. You've got first John five to one through twelve. So if you
-
have these verses out of the New American Standard, Bible. They're wrong.
-
First John one through twelve. Oh, first John five one, You're already
-
covered first. So if you read these out of the New American Standard Bible,
-
they will be wrong because those are our new Standard Bible, right,
-
So you are going to have to read it from over here. Okay.
-
So I'm gonna outline what you need to read. Okay. Oh, I
-
don't do that. I can just read it on my own. That's terrible.
-
What's Oh, I can't read it. It's dark blue? Oh,
-
okay, read away. Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of
-
God. And everyone who loves him who be God, also loves him who
-
is begotten of Him. By this we know that we love the children of
-
God when we love God and keep his commandments. Or this is the love
-
of God that we keep his commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome.
-
For whoever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory
-
that has overcome the world our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world.
-
But he who believes that Jesus is the son of God. This is
-
he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ. Not only by water,
-
but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness,
-
because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear witness in
-
heaven, the Father, the Word, the Holy Spirit. And these three
-
are one. And there are three that bear witness on earth, the Spirit,
-
the Water, and the Blood. And these three agree as one.
-
If we receive the witness of man, the witness of God is greater,
-
for this is the witness of God which he has testified of his son.
-
He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself. He
-
who does not believe God has made him a liar because he has not believed
-
the testimony of God that God has given of his Son. And this is
-
the testimony that God has given as eternal life. And this life is in
-
his son. He who has the Son is life, and he who does
-
not have this Son of God does not have life. These things I have
-
written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that
-
you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to
-
believe in the name of the Son of God, period forever and always.
-
Amen. Yep, So taken. If you would have removed those verses from
-
seven and eight. Those stands. It's from seven to eight because it's the
-
end of seven and the beginning of verse eight they removed. You never would
-
have been able to grab them. With what this was saying. And these
-
verses go back to what I was saying. If you don't believe in the
-
Son of God, if you don't believe in the Holy Spirit of God,
-
I mean, basically, if you don't believe that the Holy Spirit of God,
-
you don't you don't believe in Jesus, the Son. I mean,
-
if you take out any one component of the three, it's useless. I
-
mean, but if you don't believe the Word of God, you don't believe
-
the Word. And that's just the way it is. And the Word says
-
up and down and sideways and topsy turvy. The Trinity is one, no,
-
it says it in all the directions. It's like the great glass elevator
-
in Charlie in the chocolate factory goes up and down, sideways and any other
-
ways you can think of. I'm not quite sure where that came from,
-
but okay, glass elevator. So anyway, that's that's what I have.
-
Okay, a document. End of the document. Time to exit out.
-
We're overtime now. Oh no, did we spend too long reading the Bible?
-
Well, today we certainly read it in a light had not seen it
-
before. And that is the truth. And that's that's a good thing.
-
That's a godly thing. Right. If you don't believe in the Trinity,
-
you're not a Christian period. That is a fundamental that's a fundamental fact,
-
fundamental side. All right, Mariah, pray us out of here, okay.
-
Dear Jesus, thank you for everything that you've given to us. Thank
-
you for your word, and thank you for opening it up to us and
