Do you know the Bible is God's Holy Word? Do
-
you know it is inspired, in errant, and infallible? If so, like, share,
-
subscribe and support this podcast. So we are mere Nathal
-
Ministries and now Redemption Draweth Nighe. Welcome, ladies and gentlemen,
-
welcome to the program. We are your host jose and Matthew.
-
Of course, tonight we're getting back to the Book of Asaf.
-
Today we're doing Psalm seventy seven, a very interesting chapter,
-
corny versus. It's rather discombobulated and it's delivered. I mean,
-
if you were to have a pastor or a teacher
-
from any denomination across the board and ask them to
-
describe this chapter for you, what is the purpose of
-
this chapter? They would just tell, oh, that's easy. It's
-
just a song, so it is doesn't mean anything. However,
-
upon scrutinization, I'd say, this chapter's loaded. That's what I
-
would say. But that's just me and I appreciate these
-
stanzaheading for this chapter from the new King James version.
-
It says the consoling memory of God's redemptive works, so
-
it's worded in the past tense. I got a kick
-
out of that. Because oh that's true, and it's also
-
going to be true, that's for sure. So that's my
-
opening comments. How about you, jose.
-
Well, Matthew, you know when I'm now that I'm when
-
I'm doing my reading, I try to place it on
-
the timeline to help me better understand what God's trying
-
to say. So, you know, when I read this completely,
-
the timeline seems to indicate, you know, because you have
-
this the references here too, at the end of the
-
psalm kind of you know, God, God stepping on the earth,
-
God coming on the earth, right, so kind of sixth
-
seal imagery that I'm reading there at the end of
-
the psalm, And so I can kind of place the
-
beginning of the song, it being the birth pangs, and
-
of course, you know God, God delivering on his promises,
-
and you've got the you know in this song kind
-
of the language like, you know, has God forgotten about me?
-
You know what about his promises? And and so that's
-
the that's the reading I get, Matthew when I read
-
the whole song. But but when I first started reading it,
-
and I first began to read it, I couldn't help
-
but get the songs of Cora imagery in my out
-
of my head. Matthew. That's just that's kind of the
-
the feeling I was getting when I was reading the song.
-
So yeah, it's kind of like you said, a little
-
bit of discombobulation, you know, am I reading? Is this
-
similar language to what the sons of Korra were saying?
-
Is this talking about the birth pangs? So yeah, that's
-
that's what I'm hoping to dig into and to to,
-
you know, really really really settle down into because I'm
-
getting I'm getting both connotations in this song. Matthew.
-
I agree. I agree, you get both connotations in this
-
and that should be kind of a given because you
-
know this this this it's not only a psalm of Asaf.
-
It is a psalm to Jeduthane. Now that's kind of
-
a strange name. Well, it's in this in this connotation
-
is not a name because of its prefix. So it's
-
two or above jeb Youthan. That's that's what the Hebrew
-
is saying here. And this very strange phrase is in
-
the Bible three times. It makes as we've been taught
-
as well. I've had to say this over the course
-
of several studies. Now that this is in itself a
-
sub book, these psalms to Jeb Youthan, and everybody needs
-
to understand that that this is important that you know
-
that Psalm thirty nine is too Jeb Youthan and it's
-
a psalm of David. Psal I'm sixty two is to
-
Jeb Youathan, a psalm of David. But this one is
-
too Jeb Youthan, a psalm of Asaf. So just in
-
knowing that that dichotomy right there, that there's two different
-
types of songs to Jeb Youthan, one is of David,
-
one is of Asaf. So that right there should get
-
your attention that something mechanically is going on. And the
-
big problem with that is we don't have time to
-
talk about Psalm thirty nine or Psalm sixty two. We
-
just quite simply don't have time to do that. So
-
I would have to agree with you right from the
-
very beginning that something is going on here. And one
-
thing is for sure, this psalm is about God's redemptive work.
-
Right.
-
Yes, However, we have a major problem if our eschatological
-
model is dispensational pre millennialism, because that's pre trib right, Yes,
-
So I got a problem with a song. And when
-
you think of things in that way, that is why
-
there's no such thing as a chapter in verse for
-
a pre tribulation rapture. There is no chapter in verse
-
the verses that they report to be about a pre
-
tribulational event. Both of those passages say quite clearly that
-
the resurrection comes first before the changing occurs, and the
-
changing and the resurrection only only comes is only precipitated
-
at the return of Christ, that's after the tribulation. So
-
this is why a lot of confusion enters into the
-
equation right here. This is due to Satan shepherds and
-
the corrupt clergy that support Satan shepherds. So just with
-
that in mind, if you're trying to think of a
-
pre tribulational way that you're going to get out of
-
what the Bible says, Psalm seventy seven offers you major
-
obstacles to that because Psalm seventy seven tells the truth,
-
and when you're consulting the facts there, your emotional reasoning
-
around them is quite irrelevant. You just simply have to
-
swear all the facts as they are and accept the
-
simple fact that what God has done. You can take
-
this to the bank. By God, what he did do
-
is exactly what he's going to do. That's exactly what
-
he's going to do. Because he's not like you. He's
-
not like me. He's not wishy washy, is he? Jose? No, Matthew,
-
And is this not Why didn't we talk about this?
-
I think last week we talked about this. The new
-
King James version says it a little differently than the
-
New American Standard Bible. But the Greek testifies as to
-
what is to come you, Jose, if you are alive
-
and remain, you will tabernacle with him.
-
Amen.
-
Okay, what does that mean? Explain that to me, Jose.
-
What did anybody ever tabernacle with him before?
-
No, Matthew, I take.
-
Umbrage with you. Yes they did, Oh Amen, of course
-
they did. Of course they did. Okay, I take cambridge
-
with you.
-
You're right, Yes they did.
-
And it began. It began at the foot of the
-
Red Sea Pharaah, after he had recovered from the loss
-
of his firstborn, his fury come up in his face,
-
and he gathered. He marshaled the entire Egyptian army and
-
rode out to completely wiped them out there at the
-
foot of the Red Sea. Correct, and what happened? God
-
came down in the pillar of fire. Amen.
-
Amen, the bottle is quite clear.
-
Don't lie. The reason why Pharaoh did not wipe them
-
out on the banks that very night is the entire
-
night the pillar of fire stood between them. In the morning,
-
God split the Red Sea. The children of Israel went across.
-
Pharaoh pursued and was most promptly whiting. Once they were
-
on the other side of the Red Sea. God gave
-
instructions for the tabernacle. Correct, correct, and for forty well,
-
actually forty two years. Okay, because I can give you
-
the numbers, I've provided the documentation publicly that minimum the
-
time that passed between this and when the spies went
-
out and brought back the bad report to the day
-
was a year and five months later. Now several of
-
those places, God doesn't say how long they stayed there.
-
So remember the forty years did not begin until after
-
that year. In five months, you're talking forty two years.
-
So during that whole time, Okay, what happened during the day, Jose,
-
What what did God look like?
-
By day he was the pillar of cloud, Matthew.
-
And by night he was what pillar of fire, and
-
he was in the center Israelites, right, he was in
-
that tabernacle. So I take great upwards with you.
-
And that's, yes, the exact image. You always say, Matthew,
-
that that tabernacle is like a tent, and if that
-
pillar is right in the middle, then that tent is
-
surrounding the camp.
-
Yes, it's it's pretty simple to understand what will watch
-
you understand it. So that's what's going to happen. And
-
you know, like I described last week, that's exactly what
-
the Greek and the Hebrew. By the way, I didn't
-
talk about the Hebrew, but I could have. I could
-
have talked about Hebraically would has stated in Revelation chapter seven.
-
But that's what it says. We are going to tabernacle
-
with him, just like we it, just like we did before.
-
Now the problem with this is everybody doesn't realize that
-
the Book of Exodus doesn't give you all the juicy
-
details about what happened to Egypt after their army had
-
been wiped from the face of the earth. Write this down.
-
I'm going to tell you this right now. I'm not
-
here to entertain you, I'm here to edify you. So
-
if you're going to partake in edification, you need to
-
bring something to write with and something to write on.
-
Write this down Ixo's invasion, Write that down. Egypt was
-
never the same. Egypt entered into great tribulation historically, this
-
is beyond contestation. What do you think happened to them
-
when their army was at the bottom of the Red Sea.
-
What the Book of Revelation does is give you the
-
details of what happened to Egypt after their army was decimated.
-
Of course, the Book of Exodus doesn't give you that information.
-
It's not pertinent to you, but you do need to
-
know this, ladies and gentlemen, I understand that the Exodus
-
is a very convoluted narrative because take note, the Book
-
of Numbers should be where it starts. But on top
-
of that, you have the Book of Exodus for an
-
entire overview, and you have Deuteronomy and Leviticus. You must
-
be able to incorporate all those four books. So it
-
really mechanically works just like the Book of Revelation. So
-
how many sets of judgments are there, Jose in the
-
Book of Revelation, Tell me the different type of judgments?
-
Please, Well, you've got the the seven trump bits, the seven.
-
Bulls, yep, and the seven seals.
-
Right amen, Amen, yep, yep, you're right right, yes, amen.
-
Well you have the Exodus, which is the overview, but
-
you've got to incorporate numbers, Deuteronomy and Leviticus. Jose. It's
-
quite simple mathematics. It's mathematics. So it's pretty important that
-
you know that before we ever start reading Asaf chapter six.
-
That's what this is. This is the Book of Asaf
-
chapter six, Psalm seventy seven. It's extremely important, and you
-
need to understand that the Lord Jesus Christ was not
-
lying to you and when he told you when you
-
see the abomination of desolation, head to the hills. You
-
need to know where all these movies get it from, right, Hose,
-
what happens when a nuke goes off? Jose, You're supposed
-
to head for the hills? Right, Yes, this common phraseology
-
in the English American vernacular head to the hills. You
-
need to know where it comes from. No, it didn't
-
come from Shakespeare. No, No, it didn't didn't come from Hollywood.
-
It come from the mouth of the Lord Jesus Christ.
-
And you could take this to the bank if you're
-
alive and remain coming the end of time. That's exactly
-
what you better do. That's what you better do. And
-
when the Lord Jesus Christ says you should high tail it,
-
he sang that for good reason.
-
Amen, Jose, Amen, Matthew.
-
He's saying that for good reason. He's saying that for
-
good reason. And you should be able to put that
-
on the Exodus timeline because I just gave it to you.
-
I just gave it to you. You should know and
-
understand that from the time of the plague of the
-
First Born, the entire children of Israel went all the
-
way to the Red Sea. You should know and understand
-
that you should be looking at forty five days. That's
-
what you should be looking at from the time you
-
flee and head to the hills. No one understand this.
-
Your deliverance will come forty five days after that, and
-
God's gonna do exactly what He's said to do. We've
-
read the latter part of Revelation chapter seven quite a
-
few times, now, right, Jose.
-
Yes, we have.
-
Do you believe God can do that if he wants to?
-
Amen? Absolutely, Jose.
-
Why do people think that God can't do what he wants?
-
Why are they convinced Jose that he's been entombed upon
-
his throne. Why is that?
-
I have no idea on Matthew.
-
Well, I believe it's your turn to read. I believe
-
I read last week. Is that not correct?
-
I believe so? Yes?
-
Okay, so give it to us, both barrels square in
-
the chest, all right?
-
Psalm seventy seven out of the New King James version,
-
The Consoling Memory of God's Redemptive Works to the Chief Musician,
-
to Jedathon, a Psalm of Asaf. I cried out to
-
God with my voice, to God with my voice, and
-
he gave ear to me. In the day of my trouble,
-
I thought the Lord. My hand was stretched out in
-
the night without ceasing. My soul refused to be comforted.
-
I remembered God and was troubled. I complained, and my
-
spirit was overwhelmed. Say, law, you hold my eyelids open.
-
I am so troubled that I cannot speak. I have
-
considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.
-
I called to remembrance my song in the night. I
-
meditate within my heart, and my spirit makes diligent search.
-
Will the Lord cast off forever? And he will be,
-
will he be favorable? No more has his mercy ceased?
-
Forever has his promise failed? Forevermore has God forgotten to
-
be gracious? Has he, in anger shut up his tender mercies?
-
Say lah, and I said, this is my anguish. But
-
I will remember the years of the right hand of
-
the Most High. I will remember the works of the Lord.
-
Surely I will remember your wonders of old. I will
-
also meditate on all your work and talk of your deeds.
-
Your way, oh God, is in the sanctuary. Who is
-
so great a god as our God? You are the
-
God who does wonders. You have declared your strength among
-
the peoples. You have your army. We have with your
-
arm redeemed your people. The sons of Jacob and Joseph,
-
say ah, the water saw you, Oh God, the water
-
saw you. They were afraid. The depths also trembled, The
-
clouds poured out water. The sky sent out a sound.
-
Your arrows also flashed about. The voice of your thunder
-
was in the whirlwind. The lightnings lit up the world.
-
The earth trembled and shook. Your way was in the sea,
-
your path in the great waters, and your footsteps were
-
not known. You led your people like a flock by
-
the hand of Moses and Aaron.
-
It's a pretty song.
-
Yes, it is.
-
No doubt to that it's a pretty song. And it
-
seems to be interrupted by these salot moments. Don't go yes,
-
And you know, I've listened to quite a few people
-
over the decades. You know they don't even read that.
-
They'll just skip it. Matter of fact, it's been very
-
rare for me to hear people read the word cela
-
no matter what version they're reading out of go just
-
skip it. And unfortunately, if you were to remove the
-
salaws for this, you wouldn't be able to realize that
-
this is well, he's doing this for a reason. These
-
are god stanzas right. Yes, when he says the law,
-
he's telling you, okay, put that in your pocket. I'm
-
going to talk about something else now. Now, let me
-
ask you something, Jose, So does cilaw mean that that
-
it's a different time or does it mean it's the
-
same time. This event's happening at the same time, but
-
it's a separate event. Don't answer that, all right, I
-
got your attention, don't I Yes? Now, is it not
-
true that some say some translations say that CI law
-
means pause.
-
Yes.
-
Now, I don't think you and I have ever talked
-
about the actual meaning of the word salon. So so,
-
so you got access to the strongs, right, yes, let's
-
look that up. What what is that in the Hebrew
-
we're looking at?
-
Actually? Okay, so I got si law as h five
-
five four to two. It says suspension or pause. But
-
it also has a root word here that we can
-
dig into. It's one to hang up to way to contemn.
-
That's right, Yes, what do you make of that?
-
It's got an interesting note to here, Matthew. In regards
-
to the KJB, it says is to tread down underfoot
-
to value.
-
Yes, and I agree with with all of that. Do
-
you have access to the Greek what this is?
-
Jump over it? That'd be a little bit more difficult,
-
but we should be able to find it. No, you
-
might have to help with that, Matthew.
-
And why is that?
-
Oh, just that the Greek kind of forms it a
-
little bit different. Let me let me see if I
-
can find it. I don't see. I don't see cela
-
in my in my Greek version of Matthew, but I
-
might be Oh yet I see it there? Okay, at
-
the University. Let me see if I can find it
-
in the Greek? Is it dia falmer? I think something
-
like that, but I'm I'm not getting the strongest number. Matthew, No,
-
not on that, so you might have to help out
-
with that one.
-
Well, that's that's well, that's that's a pretty rough What.
-
Did you say again that that diaphalma? And I might
-
not be reading that that correctly either, but I'm not
-
getting strong the strong numbers. I can't I can't read
-
the English version of it. So if you can help that,
-
that'd be.
-
Well, I can't give you a strong number that strongs
-
don't exist, Okay, then that probably should take people by surprise.
-
And that's why I said it. Yep, you need to understand,
-
ladies and gentlemen, and that not all the subtuagen has
-
been keyed to strongs. So I'm going to use this
-
to encourage you to dig in because I appreciate that
-
jose and I is reading the New King James verse,
-
and I assure you that's not God's word. God's word
-
comes to you two ways, and the Hebrew and in
-
the Coyae of Greek that preceded that Hebrew by a
-
thousand years. Just so you know what you get your
-
Old Testament Hebrew from is from two codices, that is
-
the Linenred Codex and the Aleppo Codex. But the Septuogen.
-
We have many, many, many copies of the Septuagen and
-
those come from a thousand years before the Masoretic text.
-
So you would have thought that the strongs would have
-
started at the sept coulag. That's what you would have thought, right, Jose.
-
That would have made sense, Matthew.
-
So, wadies and gentlemen, I encourage you to dig in,
-
dig in, do things like this. Do you know that
-
the dictionary is in every language? Did you know that?
-
Do yourself a favor. Get a hold of this word.
-
You can get it on blue letter Bible. You can
-
get blue letter Bible, right Jose.
-
Yep, Okay.
-
If you do that, you open up the tools and
-
it'll on one of the bars there exceptog. You can
-
click on it and you can copy that. Go to
-
the Greek dictionary. Now the Greek dictionary is not in English,
-
it's in Greek. Copy and paste that in there. The
-
hit the magnifying glass so it'll search. When it does
-
it search, then translate that page into English and then
-
you will see what you need to see. But today
-
I'm not going to do it for you. But I'm
-
telling you it's detrimental that you figure out what God's saying.
-
But Jose and I we can't do everything for you.
-
And I want to do to you exactly what I
-
did to Jose. You have the Bible, God's holy Word.
-
I don't need to give it to you. You do
-
have the resources to get it, Yes, you do. I
-
just gave you one. All of you have smartphones. If
-
you don't, all of you can go to the library.
-
Blue Letter Bible is absolutely free, so yes, you can
-
look at the original manuscripts on blue letter. Rible. So
-
I've posed a very interesting question. Does slaw mean stop
-
I'm going to talk about a different time, or is
-
God saying stop, I'm going to talk about something else
-
that occurs at the same time. It's enough for us
-
to say here that God is definitely breaking these things up.
-
He's breaking this down, that's what he's doing. So these
-
are God's standzas, and as such we need to understand
-
that the verse three verses they stand alone. We should
-
look at them separately, and it has a message all
-
of them. And it's very troubling to read these first
-
three verses. You know, why is he so troubled? Why
-
is it in the day of my trouble I sought
-
the Lord. My hand was stretched out in the night
-
without ceasing. My soul refused to be comforted. The only
-
thing that this could pertain to, according to end Time
-
Bible prophecy, is what I've already mentioned, the setting up
-
the abomination of desolation. Now in the next Salah moment
-
that gives some more details of what's going on. You
-
hold my eyelids open. So here is after the slaw
-
when he already said this very clearly that the day
-
of trouble, my hand was stretched out the night without ceasing.
-
So now this must be the next day, right, you
-
hold my eyelibs open. I'm so troubled. I cannot speak.
-
Something has happened that he's been up all night long,
-
and now his physical capacities are being locked up. He
-
can only meditate an his heart. His spirit does a
-
diligent search. Will the Lord cast off forever? Will he
-
be favorable? No more? Has his mercy sees ford? Has
-
the promises failed? I mean, this is pretty this has
-
the lord forgot to be gracious? Has he in anger
-
shut up his tender mercies? That's pretty serious stuff, man,
-
I mean, who would cry out these things? Because one
-
thing's for sure, Aceef had no reason to be crying
-
such things out, did he? Joseh?
-
No, Matthew, I.
-
Mean, was there anybody more blessed than a sath?
-
Nope, that's a good question, ain't it right?
-
That's a good question, ladies and gentlemen. I mean, who
-
would have been more blessed than a sath? Who? Who
-
else got to prophesy because the king ordered him to
-
do so? Not a king? D king? It makes you
-
wonder what's going on here now? Is Asaf remembering this
-
or is he knowing it's coming and he's remembering the future?
-
That's the real question your thoughts.
-
A couple of things to add, Matthew Alpen. Numerically, we
-
know that the twenty three hundred is in verse four there,
-
which yes it is. We've discussed is the birth pays?
-
But then also, like what you mentioned about this possibly
-
relating to the setting up of the abomination of desolation, Matthew,
-
if I go down to verse thirteen, where it says
-
that your way Oh, God is in the sanctuary. Who
-
is so great a god as our God? Boy, Matthew,
-
you just can't can't help. But remember what the false
-
prophet is going to try and do, Matthew. He's going
-
to try to enter the sanctuary. He's going to try
-
to set up his place in that sanctuary. He's going
-
to try to set up the abomination of desolation in
-
the sanctuary. He's going to try to proclaim himself God.
-
I mean, that verse right there directly talks to those events, Matthew.
-
And here God's I mean, it's it's if you can
-
put yourself in this place, Matthew. And you're watching these
-
events transpire, and you're saying, no, that that cannot happen,
-
that abomination desolation cannot be, cannot be there, because that's
-
God's place. That that's That's exactly what I'm seeing here, Matthew.
-
I appreciate that. I do. I appreciate that. And I'll
-
tell you what. Let me ask you a question. Yeah,
-
what is verse ten talking about, Jose, I mean, what
-
can it possibly be talking about? Read it for me please.
-
And I said, this is my anguish, but I will
-
remember the years of the right hand of the most
-
high Jose, I'm not I'm not being facetious.
-
What in the name of the Lord is that? What
-
are the years in God's right hand?
-
I don't know.
-
Matthew, would you agree that's probably pretty important?
-
Yes?
-
I mean that's isn't he What he's really doing here?
-
He's saying that whatever was before this event was the
-
years in these right hand. Yes, and something has massively
-
changed so that these years here what the sawmist is
-
talking about. Now I appreciate that. I'm not trying to
-
insult your intelligence, so because I didn't want to say
-
asap right right, what he's really saying is that I
-
don't know what this is, but I understand that now
-
time is in God's left hand, and you know what,
-
let's do that. Let's just do an elementary scan of
-
the scriptures for left hand. Now, I know. The very
-
first time it comes up in the prophetic narrative is
-
in Isaiah chapter nine. I appreciate the context. Let me
-
let me read it for you Isaiah chapter nine, verse twenty,
-
and Jose, I want you to head over there right now,
-
if you haven't already, and he shall snatch on the
-
right hand and be hungry. He shall devour on the
-
left hand and not be satisfied. Every man shall eat
-
the flesh of his own arm. That's pretty dire, right. Yes,
-
what is this What is this chapter in Isaiah talking about?
-
I tell you what, what is the New American or
-
the new King James version. What is the stanzaheading for
-
this chapter?
-
So that yeah, the verse one the stands aheading is
-
the government of the Promised Son.
-
And that's the new King James version heading for it. Yes,
-
because my bible in Isaiah chapter twenty.
-
Oh, Isaiah nine or twenty Matthew.
-
I'm sorry nine chapter nine.
-
I'm in Isaiah chapter nine.
-
Yes, and you're all the way at the beginning of
-
the chapter.
-
Yes, uh huh.
-
My heading says the birth of the Prince of Peace.
-
Amen.
-
So that probably takes people a different way, right, right,
-
because something is going on, because this is all about
-
well Zebulin natally.
-
Right right?
-
This is this is quoted in the gospels, right.
-
Yes, So.
-
We don't have time to go through all of this,
-
but I'm telling you something here. He's saying something. He's
-
saying that a birth is going to happen here, ladies
-
and gentlemen. That's what he's by using this phraseology. He
-
wants you to know that now that time has been
-
switched into the left hand, there's going to be a birth.
-
There's now Just so you all know, Isaiah chapter nine,
-
I already said it. It mentions zebulin natally YadA YadA
-
YadA efriam v Nassa. This phrase off so comes up
-
in Ezekiel chapter nine, verse three. Then I will knock
-
the bow out of your left hand and cause the
-
arrows to fall out of your right hand. You shall
-
fall upon the mountains of Israel, you and all your
-
troops and all the people who are with you. I
-
will give you to the birds of prey, every sort,
-
to the beast of the field to be devoured. You
-
shall fall in the open field. For I've spoken, says
-
the Lord. So you need to know that this connotation
-
is the Battle of Gog and Maygog, and that happens
-
after the millennium. So when you put two and two together, Jose,
-
you can come to the conclusion just using this phrase
-
that the time in the left hand is different than
-
the time and the right, and we're currently in the
-
time of the right, and then the time of the
-
left time is different, and you should know and understand
-
that this is really what Psalm chapter seventy seven is
-
trying to relay. This. This is the time in between.
-
Look at it this way, Jose. You know how sea
-
saw works, right, Yes, you got the left side of
-
the seesaw, on the right side of the sea saw.
-
What's in the middle, what's in the exact center of
-
the seesaw?
-
No, the folkm right. Is that what they call it.
-
That's right. That's what we're looking at here. That's what
-
he's trying to relay here. This is the idea he's
-
trying to relay. Now to this also comes up. Are
-
you ready, Jose, yep, now you're sure you're ready. I
-
hope so, because we've read this a trillion times, but
-
not in this way. Now you're going to really see
-
it what's being said here Daniel Chapter twelve, verse seven.
-
Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was
-
above the waters of the river, and he held up
-
his right hand and his left hand to Heaven and
-
swore by him who lives forever and ever, that it
-
shall be for a time times and half the time,
-
and when the power of the Holy People has been
-
completely shattered, all these things shall be finished. This is
-
the perfect way to relate to us that this pivot
-
point that Psalm seventy seven is talking about, it is
-
the beginning of a time times and half the time.
-
And at the end of that three years, that three
-
and a half years, when the Holy people's been complete,
-
we shattered all these things shall be finished. Now we
-
know that narrative from before. We know that narrative comes
-
to light in Revelation chapter twenty, right, right, So it
-
was pretty important that everybody knew, for one why this
-
angel was standing over the mental of the water. He
-
was in the center of it. And it said that
-
he stretched out one hand, but the other hand he
-
stretched to heaven. So the other hand he stretched out
-
to creation. Right, that must be what he's talking about, right, right.
-
But it's funny how if you don't saturate yourself with
-
a Bible, God's holy word, Psalm seventy seven don't really
-
make any sense. It's not really saying anything to you
-
until you know the phraseology. So there's a whole lot
-
we can learn here. There is, literally and the endless
-
supply of information that we can obtain here if we
-
just look at it. But like I said, the things
-
spoken of here are very difficult. It's very difficult. What
-
time is he taught? Why is there this span, this
-
space where God doesn't seem to hear your prayers? Is
-
this talked about before? Of course, it's talked about before,
-
ladies and gentlemen, that's the fact. It is talked about before.
-
Jose and I how did studies on that that comes
-
up in the Psalms? You need to write this down.
-
It's very important that you write these things down. When
-
he talks about a flood of many waters, it's not
-
lying to you. You need to know that God has
-
said this before, and you're supposed to know. This comes
-
from Psalms thirty two. It's thirty two, verse six. For
-
this causes everyone who is godly shall pray to you
-
in a time when you may be found, surely in
-
a flood of great waters, they shall not come near him.
-
This is the only time when your prayers won't reach
-
God because you can't find him. Jose, where is he
-
who sitteth upon the throne right now?
-
Aid's in heaven, Matthew, He's on his throne.
-
He's on his throne. Yes, is this not saying there's
-
coming a time when he's not going to be on
-
his throne. Yes, So literally, what the saying is, there's
-
coming a point in time where God himself is going
-
to go gally vanning around. I mean, ladies and gentlemen,
-
it's not there on time. The Bible says this, This
-
isn't unique, Jose, This, this isn't unique, isn't.
-
No, it's not, Matthew Daniel. Chapter seven talks distinctly about it.
-
It talks distinctly about it. So we'd be able to
-
put this to that time, right, we could put this
-
chapter to that time. Yes, when this is well, time
-
has gone from the right hand to the left hand.
-
Something terrible is going on. But take note. I like
-
how Asaff says that this time ends, and that's really
-
what this last stands is about. Right, Okay, start in
-
verse sixteen, lady, gentlemen, I'm going to read it for you,
-
and I'm gonna ask Hose what he's talking about. The
-
water saw you, Oh God, the water saw you. They
-
were afraid. The depths are so trembled. The clouds poured
-
out water. The sky sent out a sound. Your arrows
-
also flashed about.
-
The voice of thunder was said the wool wind, the
-
lightnings lit up the world, the earth trembled and shook.
-
Your way was in the sea, and your footsteps were
-
not known. You let your people like a flock by
-
the hand of Moses and Aaron, Jose, what is he
-
talking about?
-
This?
-
To me, Matthew, is the sixth Seal? This is the
-
Great day of the Lord.
-
Well, he's most absolutely describing the crossing of the Red Sea.
-
Amen.
-
So what you're saying is is that both events must
-
be the same thing.
-
They sure sounded like, Matthew, you know what God's gonna do, Jose.
-
That's telling us right here what's gonna happen.
-
Yeah, He's gonna do what he's done.
-
Yes, Amen, yep, cases after what he has done. Yes.
-
So this creates quite a conundrum. Why don't people Why
-
doesn't God's children? Why don't they believe that he can
-
do something that he's already done? Does that make sense
-
to you?
-
No, it doesn't.
-
I mean because you have proof he can do it, right, Yes,
-
So if you've got proof he can do it, why
-
would you contest his ability to do it? Again, this
-
does not make reasonable sense, does it?
-
No?
-
It does not make reasonable sense. And one thing's for sure.
-
Once we know that part, the verses before it make
-
a whole lot more sense. They make a whole lot
-
more sense. Let's put that to the test. Let's back
-
up to the next salam moment. Right, So, the next
-
Siala moment starts in verse ten, and I said, this
-
is my anguish. But I will remember the years of
-
the right hand of the most time. I will remember
-
the works of the Lord. Surely I will remember your
-
wonders of old. I will also meditate on all your
-
work and talk of your deeds. Your way, O, God
-
is in the sanctuary. Who is so great a god
-
as our God? You are the God who does wonders.
-
You have declared your strength among the peoples. You have
-
your arm redeemed your people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah,
-
that's a very strange way to put it. Why would
-
God be mentioning the sons of Jacob and then the
-
sons of Joseph.
-
But we know Joseph had the birthright, right, Matthew.
-
That's right, Joseph had the birthright. But this says it
-
very strangely. Since Jacob and then Joseph, right, it's forcing
-
you to see something you know. Is God's people ever
-
called the children of Jacob? Or are they always called
-
the children of Israel? Because Jacob is Israel? Right?
-
Yes?
-
Is he not forcing you to see that whatever happens
-
here this pivot point in time, it triggers an event
-
where Jacob's posterity becomes the children of Israel. And I
-
could refer everybody back once again, because really, now this
-
is absolutely screaming with Isaiah chapter nine declares that's what
-
it's really doing. So jose head back over there, please,
-
Maybe we should take a read of Isaiah chapter nine
-
and get the full gist.
-
All right, I'll jump over there. I've been I've been
-
jumping around everywhere because this is taking us, taking me
-
a lot of different places that I'm digging into.
-
All right, So should we pause? Do you want to
-
share some of what you found before we read this?
-
Real quick?
-
Yeah?
-
Before before we jump to Isaiah chapter nine, the Book
-
of Obadiah Matthew. It tells us about the house of
-
Jacob and the house of Joseph.
-
Well, by all means you should share that first.
-
So yes, uh huh. So I will start in verse
-
seventeen of the Book of Obadiah. But on Mountain Zion
-
there shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness. The
-
House of Jacob shall possess their possessions. The House of
-
Jacob shall be of fire, and the House of Joseph
-
of flame. But the House of Esau shall be stuble.
-
They shall kindle them and devour them, and no survivor
-
shall remain of the House of Esau. For the Lord
-
has spoken.
-
So what do you immediately see? You immediately see what
-
I already stated. Something is missing here. The children of
-
Israel are missing, correct?
-
Yes?
-
So is he not telling you that the system he
-
sets up over the millennial kingdom is going to be
-
two different branches?
-
Yes?
-
Yes, he stated very clearly these two branches would burn
-
right right. And he's not talking about the Bride of Christ,
-
is he, No, Matthew, the bride of Christ is the
-
children of Israel. Let that sink in, ladies and gentlemen.
-
The Book of Obadiah was clearly stating that who is
-
going to be the executive branch, Okay, the executive branch
-
and the judicial branch is not going to be the
-
children Liseral. That's what Obadiah was saying, and it's that
-
system that's going to rule over everybody else. That's what's
-
being stated. So that was very important. I'm glad you
-
brought that up, Jose. We got ten minutes left. I
-
strongly suggest we take a look at Isaiah chapter nine
-
and read it.
-
All right, the whole kitten kaboodle, the whole nine yards man. Amen, okay,
-
So Isaiah chapter nine from the New King James. Nevertheless,
-
the gloom will not be upon her who is distress.
-
Amen, Amen, As when at.
-
First he lightly esteemed the land of Zebulen and the
-
land of Naftali, and afterward more heavily oppressed her by
-
the way of the sea beyond the Jordan. In Galilee
-
of the Gentiles, the people who walked in darkness have
-
seen a great light. Those who dwelt in the land
-
of the shadow of death. Upon them a light has
-
shined fay Man, multiplied the nation and aiming joy. They
-
rejoice before you, according to the joy of harvest, as
-
men rejoice when they divide the spoil. For you have
-
broken the yoke of his burden and the staff of
-
his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the
-
day of Midian. For every warrior sandal from the noisy battle,
-
and garments rolled in blood will be used for burning
-
and fuel of fire. For unto us a child is born,
-
unto us, a son is given, and the government will
-
be upon his shoulder, and his name will be called
-
wonderful counselor Mighty God, everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of
-
the increase of his government and peace, there will be
-
no end upon the throne of David and over his kingdom,
-
to order it and establish it with justice, adjudgment, and justice.
-
From that time forward, even forever, the zeal of the
-
Lord of Host will perform this. The Lord send a
-
word against Jacob, and it has fallen on Israel. All
-
the people will know Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria,
-
who say, in pride and arrogance of heart, the bricks
-
have fallen down, but we will rebuild with hewn stones.
-
The sycamores are cut down, but we will replace them
-
with cedars. Therefore, the Lord shall set up the adversaries
-
of Resin against him, and spur his enemies on the
-
Syrians before and the Philistines behind, and they shall devour
-
Israel with an open mouth. For all this his anger
-
is not turned away, but his hand is still is
-
stretched out still. For the people do not turn to
-
him who strikes them, nor do they seek the Lord
-
of Hosts. Therefore the Lord will cut off head and
-
tail from Israel, palm, branch and bulrush in one day.
-
The elder and honorable, he is the head, the prophet
-
who teaches lies. He is the tale. For the leaders
-
of this people cause them to err, and those who
-
are led by them are destroyed. Therefore the Lord will
-
have no joy in their young men, nor have mercy
-
on their fatherless and widows. For everyone is a hypocrite
-
and an evildoer, for every mouth speaks folly. For all this,
-
his anger is not turned away, but his hand is
-
stretched out still. For wickedness burns as the fire. It
-
shall devour the briars and thorns, and kindle in the
-
thickets of the forest. They shall mount up like rising
-
smoke through the wrath of the Lord of host The
-
land is burned up, and that people shall be as
-
fuel for the fire. No man shall spare his brother,
-
and he shall snatch on the right hand and be hungry.
-
He shall devour on the left hand and not be satisfied.
-
Every man shall eat the flesh of his own arm
-
Ma Nasa shall devour Efraim and Efraim Manassa. Together they
-
shall be against Judah. For all this, his anger is
-
not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
-
Now, ladies and gentlemen, you didn't understand what he was saying.
-
He's being perfectly clear. All the leaders are bad. You
-
should know and understand. What he just stated is a
-
reiteration of this narrative that goes on in the Bible.
-
It's called the slaughter of the shepherd's. He made himself
-
perfectly clear why it is his people, well, he made
-
verse seventeen. He makes himself perfectly clear why everyone is
-
doing bad verse sixteen. Foot read verse sixteen for me again, Jose.
-
For the leaders of this people cause them to air,
-
and those who are led by them are destroyed.
-
Jose, what's the problem with the church today? Explain to
-
me why it's common knowledge? Now? Why are there forty
-
five thousand different denominations of Christians globally? Why is that because.
-
Every clergy has their own doctrine and doglin Matthew.
-
Ladies and gentlemen, you need to understand why he mentioned
-
Ephraim and then an Assa. Here at the end, those
-
are the sons of Joseph. So you could use this
-
as a commentary on what God was talking about in
-
the last verses we read where it said Jacob and Joseph.
-
God is doing everything he can to show you that
-
it is the leaders who are to blame and actually
-
cause this. It's Satan shepherds and the corrupt clergy that
-
permits them, that enables Satan shepherds to do what they do.
-
And that's what this is saying, and it is saying
-
that they are going to remain the leaders, albeit they're
-
going to be butchered. So you need to understand that
-
this narrative is the bride of Christ is something else.
-
We're not the leaders, ladies and gentlemen, we're the sheep.
-
Do you need to understand what this narrative is trying
-
to tell you, and you need to be comforted in
-
the fact that what happens to these shepherds and the
-
clergy is not going to happen to you. You're going
-
to be tabernacle lean with God. You're going to be
-
tabernacle lean with him. That's what's going to happen. That's
-
what Isaiah chapter nine was talking about. That's what Psalm
-
seventy seven is talking about. It's just relate to you
-
in a different way. And God is saying that I'm
-
going to prove to you that I can do these things.
-
I'm going to prove it to you I did it before.
-
He's saying, I'm going to do what I did before.
-
That's what it's saying. That's the message here, and take
-
note this time is obviously going to be separated by
-
the institution of two witnesses. Amen, jose Amen, Matthew, that's
-
a given. Unfortunately, it's not the two witnesses that the
-
modern you know, entertainment system wants you to see. They
-
always say that the two witnesses are you know, Elijah
-
and Enoch, right, But in the original narrative, that's not
-
what happened. The original two witnesses that executed these events
-
was Moses and Aaron. How is that your thoughts?
-
No, Matthew, I think I think Isaiah nine perfectly explains
-
what we're talking about in Psalm seventy seven. It's just
-
I don't know, I don't know how many times we
-
can say it, Matthew. The situation that the bad shepherds
-
have put the church in today, how separated we are,
-
how much we chase around our own tales. Isaiah nine
-
tells us about those tales we chase around our own tales,
-
trying to prove our dogmain doctrine. But if we would
-
just read the Bible, God explains exactly, and he's clear.
-
I mean, i mean, every every chapter we're hitting, he's
-
he's saying the same thing, Matthew, he's reiterating over and over.
-
He's chasing after what has been, after what he has done,
-
and it should be, it should be, it should be
-
clear to anyone who's a serious student of the Bible, Matthew.
-
So that's that's what that's what has me well kind of,
-
I mean, God's told us this is what's going to happen.
-
But this is what's got me just kind of down
-
right now after just reading Isaiah chapter nine, because I'm
-
just I'm just realizing, I'm just I'm just realizing that, Matthew,
-
the path that we're taking to get to what's being
-
described in Matthew twenty four, the path that we're taking
-
us being described in Psalm seven and Psalm seventy seven,
-
those birth pangs, how we're going to end up there
-
and it's it's all. It's all at the foot of
-
those clergy Matthew, those bad shepherds.
-
Yes it is yes, it is well, Jose that Iour
-
went by fast, didn't it, Hey, man, it did take
-
us out of here.
-
In prayer, Please, dear heavenly Father, whom we love and serve,
-
we thank you for bringing us together. We thank you
-
for allowing us this time to share your word with
-
the ecclesia, with the listeners, with those lost that happened
-
to find this program and are being pushed to you, Father,
-
being pushed to your son, that this what we discussed
-
today in your psalm, that it may reach them. Lord.
-
I pray that those that are in your congregations, those
-
that are in your churches, Father, that they not be
-
led astray by the bad shepherds, that they not be
-
led astray by the false prophets. That you urge them
-
by your Holy Spirit to read your Holy Bible, read
-
your Holy Word and believe it. Father, That's why you
-
have left it for us, so that we can read
-
and believe, and so that we can cut through all
-
of the confusion, all of the heresies, all of the
-
evil that's being pushed in your church's Father, and that
-
by reading your word, those that are your sheep, those
-
that are a part of your flock, can be led
-
to you, Father, and you can keep them in your tabernacle,
-
in the palm of your hand, under your wing. Lord,
-
as you have promised us will happen. Lord, I just
-
asked that you continue to allow us in this ministry
-
to share your word, that you allow us to continue
-
you to share the plain reading of your word, and
-
that it helped edify the church, the Ecclesia, It help
-
edify your sheep, Father, to prepare us for what is
-
to come. And I ask all this in the name
-
of your Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen,
-
Amen and Amen.
-
Until next time, ladies and gentlemen, God bless, God speed.
