  1. In the name of the Glorious Trinity.

  2. Father and Son and Holy Spirit forever.

  3. Amen. Glory be to the Everlasting

  4. mercies which sent you to us. Oh, Christ the light of the

  5. world and the life of all give us wisdom by a law and Enlighten

  6. our impulses, by your knowledge, sanctify, ourselves by your

  7. truth, and Grant that we may be obedient to your words and may

  8. fulfill your Commandments at every hour.

  9. Oh you who enlightens the rationale with the knowledge of

  10. your greatness doing light? Oh my Lord are thoughts that we

  11. made. Meditate upon your holy and

  12. divine scriptures at all times O Lord of all Father and Son and

  13. Holy Spirit forever. I often come across Facebook or

  14. Instagram friends and random posts with pictures taken at the

  15. beach. Vineyards, with glasses of wine.

  16. Being repeatedly cling together standing at the cliff Edge.

  17. Overlooking, the wonders of nature spending time at a hotel

  18. Hotel pool bar, snaps of having shots of different types of

  19. alcohol at a nightclub, with friends or sunbathing.

  20. With a snapshot of only the legs and the feet.

  21. Why not? Take the whole body but in any

  22. case you get the drift and the caption that goes along with

  23. them States, living life, Or living life in its fullest.

  24. I to share the happiness and joy as instructed by st.

  25. Paul, in his epistle to the Romans 12:15 Rejoice, with those

    Romans 12:15

  26. who rejoice and weep with those who weep Now, off the bat this

  27. message or episode is not directed towards any single

  28. person, but rather for us, all in general.

  29. Now, again, I share their joy. And yet, I question and wonder

  30. if they bear in mind to very alarming and serious aspects of

  31. Life, those being death and judgment, the DJ you see

  32. according to Hebrews, 9:27, Saint Paul writes.

  33. And just as it is appointed to the children of man or son of

  34. men, been a nausea to die once, so there is death and after the

  35. deaths the Judgment. So again, the DJ now, having

  36. this thing mind or simply being made aware or reminded via this

  37. episode, how do we prepare for the deejay?

  38. Death and judgment. Let's have a look at a few

  39. helpful and significant pointers from the holy scriptures.

  40. Our first answer and hint are being found in st.

  41. Paul's epistle to the Colossians 3:2 where instructed to think of

    Colossians 3:2

  42. things on high, not of the things on earth, or in some

  43. versions, set your minds on the things that are that are above

  44. just as we instruct in the Divine Liturgy to let your minds

  45. be above. Lyle net, 1 mod icon.

  46. And above is the Jerusalem above, according to Galatians

    Galatians 4 chapter mention

  47. chapter 4. Verse 26, think contemplate.

  48. Be serious. Concentrate focus on the things

  49. that are on high. Through this or by this, or this

  50. way, you can then put to practice or leave as Saint Paul

  51. supplementary instructs in Philippians 1:27, to let your

    Philippians 1:27

  52. conduct. Be it personal in a relationship

  53. in a community. In a society on social media in

  54. a social event. Let your conduct be as becometh,

  55. the gospel of the Christ or Christ himself.

  56. Praise be to his name, let your conduct be as it becometh or let

  57. your conduct be according to the gospels of Christ.

  58. One of the church fathers, feel the red of sire, who was a

  59. greek-speaking Assyrian. Christian priest, late third,

  60. and meet fourth Century comments on these.

  61. He writes Paul did not write this without reason.

  62. He was aware. That certain people had started

  63. to think too highly of themselves.

  64. In other words having bets on themselves their look, their

  65. glamour, their education, their power, their wisdom.

  66. Thinking too highly. And because they think so

  67. highly, they want to promote it or they want to advertise it and

  68. show to the world. And he goes on to say, this was

  69. indeed due to the high Excellence of their own virtue

  70. for this reason, Paul advises them toward Concord and Harmony

  71. to live a life, worthy of the gospel and not worthy of the

  72. trend of the world. And what man Dean's, right?

  73. And virtuous. By doing so, this will keep us

  74. prepared for the return of our master and being prepared will

  75. be occupied with what matters. Most.

  76. What pleases? What attracts?

  77. What gives joy to Jesus Christ and not men.

  78. Because while we are occupied with what matters, most that is

  79. pleasing to Christ will grant us the service of Christ as stated

  80. by him in Luke chapter, 12:37. Now, we're going to do this

  81. exercise, again, stop the washing of the dishes or the

  82. drying. Stop the vacuuming pull to one

  83. side. If you're driving stop talking

  84. to another, another stop typing on your keyboard, just listen to

  85. this. Listen to what Christ has

  86. promised us in Luke chapter 12 verse 37.

    Luke 12:37

  87. I encourage you to read it and read it word, by word

  88. concentrate. Listen to what Jesus Christ has

  89. promised you. And I those who think of things

  90. on high and not things on earth, those who conduct their life.

  91. As it becomes of the gospel of Christ, worthy of the Gospel,

  92. gospel of Christ. This is Jesus, speaking.

  93. Praise be to his name. He says, Luke 1237.

  94. Are you listening? Are you ready?

  95. Blessed are those servants? Those who serve the Lord through

  96. a many means the church feeding the homeless and just serving

  97. God, whom their Lord. That is Jesus Christ, when he

  98. comes when he returns shall find them doing.

  99. So occupied in setting, their minds on things that are above

  100. occupied in living life, that is virtuous and appeasing to God.

  101. Now, look at what Jesus is going to do verily.

  102. That it means Truly or yes, I say to you.

  103. Now when Jesus says verily, I say to you, this is not for

  104. compromising and for dealing this is set beloved.

  105. This is a promise from the mouth of God incarnate, Jesus Christ,

  106. the son of God, our Lord, Our Savior, our righteous judge

  107. listened to his promise verily. I say to you, he that is Christ.

  108. Himself will gird his loins? Huh, Christ will goodies lines

  109. and make them recline, those who have set their minds on the

  110. things that are above and conduct their lives, their

  111. social media. And you know, I'm not going to

  112. keep going with that Addy's, as it is fitting to the gospel.

  113. He Jesus Will recline will make them recline and we'll pass

  114. around and serve them. Did you hear that?

  115. Jesus is promising that he will serve those.

  116. Those who are living life, but I've kept in mind the DJ's death

  117. and judgment and are occupied to be prepared for the day of

  118. death. And for the day of judgement

  119. Jesus Christ will serve. And what does it mean by that?

  120. We learn that he will reward us individually.

  121. Wow. If that doesn't want to doesn't

  122. make you roll down your window and scream it out in the streets

  123. or run out of your house and tell people, listen honey,

  124. Linda, listen, Jesus has promised and Christ promises are

  125. not just one of those wishy-washy, the promises we

  126. make. And I've spoken about that in

  127. other episodes, these are true, these are standing when the Lord

  128. returns he will serve. That means he will reward One

  129. eye. So when the DJ and you know now

  130. DJ means death and judgment arrives and our minds are set on

  131. things above and we are living life as it is becoming of the

  132. gospel of Christ. A side question.

  133. Do you read the gospels of Christ?

  134. Do you read your holy scriptures?

  135. Are you want father Janet to do all the hard work for you?

  136. I just want to listen well, great.

  137. Yes, faith comes through hearing but you know why Paul said that

  138. because back then not many people could read the scriptures

  139. were not tangibly available, readily available.

  140. They would hear the scriptures. They were the preach.

  141. The proclaimed scriptures today, we have the written scriptures.

  142. Do you read? Read those scriptures so that

  143. you can live life as it is becoming of the Gospel of our

  144. Lord, Jesus Christ. If we are busy with good deeds,

  145. good works works which will determine our judgment.

  146. If anyone tells you otherwise correct, that person our Deeds,

  147. our works will determine our judgment will affect our

  148. salvation and eternity, since we will be judged according to

  149. their Matthew 16:27 for the son of man, this is Jesus, again for

    Matthew 16:27

  150. the son of man is to come to the glory in the glory of his

  151. father. With all his holy angels, I so

  152. can't wait for this day and see the faces of the haters.

  153. I so can't wait for this day and truly see the faces of the

  154. haters of Jesus Christ. When he returns hence, we

  155. continue praying for these people.

  156. And then Jesus goes on to say, we'll hear accompanies to every

  157. man, as his deeds are not just Faith.

  158. He's Deeds are so, if we are prepared, For the day of Our

  159. Lord. That is when he comes or when we

  160. go. The day of the Lord is either

  161. the Lord returns, and we are alive on this Earth, or we are

  162. called by the Lord. So, when the day of Our Lord

  163. comes, it comes as a thief at night, 1, Thessalonians 5, talk

  164. to, if we are prepared, it won't be an issue because we would

  165. have faced the death and stand before the righteous Judgment of

  166. Christ. So having Lived life having kept

  167. the DJ, in our minds death and judgment in our minds and lives.

  168. You know, we are assured that we will hear the comforting words

  169. of Christ. Here it is.

  170. Again, listen to it. Stop what you're doing, please,

  171. I beseech you to concentrate. Take heed Ponder on these

  172. things. The words of Jesus Christ in

  173. Matthew 25. 23, this is what I strive.

  174. I fall. I fall, I fail, I still haven't

  175. made it yet. As Saint Paul claims whether I

  176. have gained it yet or not. I too don't know whether I have

  177. gained it or not. I don't know what's going to

  178. happen tomorrow, but one thing I have done, is according to Paul

  179. to set our minds on what is ahead set.

  180. Our minds on that amazing day, when the Lord returns.

  181. And this Is what he promises. He will tell us.

  182. Well done. Good.

  183. And faithful servant. You have been Faithful over a

  184. little. I shall set you over much.

  185. Enter the joy of your lord Faithful over a little.

  186. The simple Simplicity. We need to speak about this in

  187. another episode. A Simplicity of Christianity,

  188. not the philosophical Troll theological understanding, which

  189. people strive to get to to attain.

  190. And unfortunately, they are so much more distant from the

  191. simple faith. That Jesus has requested of us

  192. being faithful. Over a little.

  193. We'll talk about that in another episode.

  194. So as we do ourselves or others dupe ourselves saying that we

  195. have many good things laid up for many years, let's be

  196. content. Let's eat.

  197. Let's Let's drink and let's be merry.

  198. Just like the foolish rich man, in Luke 12, neglecting the DJ

  199. death and judgment. God is saying to you, and I are

  200. you fool in this night. Your soul will be required from

  201. you. And when our soul has been

  202. required, that means we have faced the D awaiting, the J,

  203. death and judgment. Let me take you back to the days

  204. of Noah and the Ark people were eating and drinking and taking

  205. wives and giving them two men until the day that Noah entered

  206. the Ark and the flood came and destroyed everyone.

  207. Luke 17:27, they didn't take heed to God's warnings of death

    Luke 17:27

  208. and judgement DJ But you see there ain't gonna be no

  209. Universal flood anymore. As was in the time of Noah,

  210. where those who didn't take heed to God's warnings were

  211. destroyed. Oh no.

  212. But rather the universal Return of the Son of God, Jesus Christ,

  213. the righteous judge who will destroy those who neglected, the

  214. DJ and live life contrary to the warnings of God, our creator.

  215. Later, praise and glory be to His holy name now in at all

  216. times and forever. We hope you enjoyed this week's
