  1. In the name of the Glorious Trinity.

  2. Father and Son and Holy Spirit forever.

  3. Amen. Glory be to the Everlasting

  4. mercies which sent you to us. Oh, Christ the light of the

  5. world and the life of all give us wisdom by a law and Enlighten

  6. our impulses, by your knowledge, sanctify, ourselves by your

  7. truth, and Grant that we may be obedient to your words and may

  8. fulfill your Commandments at every hour.

  9. Oh, you who enlightens the rationale with the knowledge of

  10. your greatness? Do in light?

  11. Oh my Lord are thoughts that we made.

  12. Meditate upon your holy and divine scriptures at all times

  13. O, Lord of all Father and Son and Holy Spirit forever.

  14. One of the most common remarks or comments on a report card.

  15. Now this is going back, my school days report card or a, or

  16. a personal character reference or work reference, was the

  17. person Gino, that's when I study night.

  18. When I was at school, Gino Works quite well with minimal

  19. supervision. I really had that but you know,

  20. sometimes I'd be lucky enough to get that comment Works quite

  21. well with minimal supervision. Now, that's a favorable comment

  22. to have on our curriculum vitae or resume.

  23. That's a great characteristic, a great attribute to possess with

  24. our lives. When we're working in this world

  25. or is studying, what have you? But at the same time, it's an

  26. amazing characteristic or attribute or Gift to possess

  27. within our lives, with Christ through Christ in Christ, by

  28. Christ, as Christians, minimal supervision and dependence on

  29. others, in our Christian Life. Why many times I'm approached as

  30. an unworthy, spiritual counselor a priest and I'm asked, you

  31. know, father I have this issue. What do I need?

  32. What do I do? How do I do this as the

  33. sometimes within a in would frustration?

  34. Not you know, portrayed or depicted?

  35. I say well you know why trying have you tried reading the holy

  36. Yes. You know, this is when we when

  37. we leave our Christian Life with minimal supervision not

  38. depending on others always. And one of the most important

  39. supervisors, we should always refer to and depend on

  40. excessively. Limitlessly is the holy

  41. scriptures. The Bible is inspired by the

  42. holy spirit. So before we refer to someone or

  43. depend on, anyone go to the holy scriptures, Let's put this in

  44. practice. One of the most difficult things

  45. is forgiving right reconciliation and I'm always

  46. faced with a comment or the question.

  47. It's very hard. Robbie, how do I do this?

  48. What do I do? Well, let's put it in in, you

  49. know, in practice using is using the scriptures as an example.

  50. In place of referring, to people off the bat, with our problems.

  51. For example, when someone has done done you wrong, or done us

  52. wrong, That's the reason why I always say, we'll have you read

  53. the scriptures because Jesus, praise and glory.

  54. Be to his name, has given us a three simple step.

  55. Solution is already established that.

  56. To when we have been sinned against, we have been done

  57. wrong. And as Christians what our

  58. response should be, listen to this very carefully.

  59. Matthew 18:15 Matthew 18:15, but if your brother wrongs you, so

    Matthew 18:15 Matthew 18:15

  60. someone has ticked you off. Someone has broken your heart,

  61. someone has disappointed you, someone has, you know, broken

  62. the trust. What do you do?

  63. Here is the three-step solution before you pick up the phone.

  64. And talk to someone for advice, pick up the holy scriptures and

  65. read Matthew 18:15 but if your brother wrongs you he's the

    Matthew 18:15

  66. first step reprove rebuke. Rebuke.

  67. Meaning mangas in the Assyrian language, but in love.

  68. Admonish so reproduces. Jesus, giving us the authority

  69. on the steps rebuke or approve or admonish it with love him or

  70. her between you and him alone. Don't broadcast it.

  71. Don't go on your social media and post subliminal messages

  72. where everyone knows that this person is having an issue with

  73. another person. You don't need to do that as

  74. Christians. We are not called to that, we

  75. are called to Holiness. So rebuke, Jesus says, reproof

  76. admonish in love him, or her between you and her, you and him

  77. alone. If he hears, you praise and

  78. glory to his name, you've gained your brother, let all bygones be

  79. Bygones. Let's just dust it off.

  80. Let's just continue our life In Love In Christ life.

  81. Now, the question is, but why must I?

  82. Well, you know, when you asked me that question, you're asking

  83. Jesus, that question because Jesus said, if your brother

  84. wrongs you you need to go and approach to rebuke.

  85. Why must I why must I make the first move?

  86. Well, you know why? Because God made the first move

  87. to All with you and me and everyone Romans 5:8.

    Romans 5:8

  88. God, demonstrated his love for us while we were yet.

  89. Sinners Christ died for us. So you want to demonstrate your

  90. love for Jesus Christ. Yeah.

  91. Well, if your brother wrongs you, you approach to rebuke to

  92. admonish to correct again, using the holy scriptures because

  93. there is the why they've been inspired.

  94. In love. And then Jesus goes on to say in

  95. verse 16, he continues. And if he does not hear you,

  96. once I have nothing to do with you and you aggravate the

  97. situation even more. And says, don't ever approach me

  98. how dare you. Well, Christ has given us the

  99. next step. Take one or two Christians.

  100. That is when I say Christians, not tattoos tattooed,

  101. Christians, not crossed. Christians, those who wear

  102. crosses. No faithful Christ, loving

  103. Christians Christ, obeying Christians.

  104. Take one or two with you so that from the mouth of two or three

  105. Witnesses, every word will be established.

  106. Why? Because something severe is

  107. coming. Now if that person does still

  108. not hear you, Jesus, did this himself in John chapter 8, verse

    John 8:18

  109. 18. I am, he, who testifies about

  110. myself, right? When they questioned his

  111. testimony, but he goes on to say, and the father who sent me,

  112. testifies about me as well, so, take Witnesses.

  113. Has not so you can you know have the upper hand so they can be

  114. ready to to rebuke harshly or totally right off that person

  115. know. Just so the person that has

  116. wronged you wronged you when he sees that you are going to so

  117. much. It's so extreme that may humbled

  118. heart. You know, break the pride and

  119. you reconcile praise and glory. Be to his name.

  120. Jesus Christ. Amen.

  121. Jesus then continues because he knew the stubbornness of men in

  122. verse 17 but if he will not hear them because when when you

  123. rebuke and admonish because of the person's done you wrong, And

  124. then they also hear the story and they admonish and rebuked.

  125. The person that has done you wrong.

  126. And if he doesn't hear them, here is the third step.

  127. The final step, tell the church, or the assembly, tell the

  128. church. And if he does not he The church

  129. here is the the reason why Jesus, you know, demands or or

  130. asks that we take two or three Witnesses Aces.

  131. If he does not hear the church, let him be to you as a tax

  132. gatherer or tax collector IRS officer and heathen.

  133. You know, I was always asked myself.

  134. Why did he just use tax collectors, and heathens?

  135. Saint, Jerome rides, the person who under the name of Faith,

  136. there's a infidels work is shown to be more cursed than those who

  137. openly are evens. It's like Jesus saying in the

  138. Book of Revelations, you were neither warm hot nor cold your

  139. warm lukewarm. I will spew you.

  140. So the person who under the name of Faith, doesn't infidels work

  141. is shown to be more cursed than those who are openly heathens

  142. pagans and publicans or tax collectors.

  143. Figuratively speaking. Are those who pursue the profits

  144. of the secular world and exact taxes by business fraud, theft

  145. crimes, and false Oaths. So you see the severity of the

  146. person who's done you wrong, excuse me.

  147. And you're trying to reconcile, but he doesn't listen to you.

  148. He doesn't listen to the two witnesses and he doesn't, most

  149. importantly, the final authority of the church.

  150. Church doesn't adhere or take heed of the church then Jesus is

  151. likening. This person to a tax collector

  152. and a heathen and Jesus says, they will not enter the Kingdom

  153. of Heaven unless they return And now let me read to you, what?

  154. The Blessed fearful act, who comments, his comments are more,

  155. you know, directed towards the teachings of st.

  156. John chrysostom. Listen to what he says in

  157. regards to these verses. Let me find it.

  158. So it says such Brethren are these.

  159. He Likens to the publicans for the Publican was Notorious for

  160. evildoing and was an outcast. It is a consolation to the one

  161. who has been wronged that the wrongdoer is considered as a

  162. Publican or a gentile. Look at the the place of honor,

  163. Jesus is giving those who have been done wrong.

  164. Wrong yet. They want to reconcile.

  165. It is a consolation to the one who has been wronged that the

  166. wrongdoer is considered, as a Publican, or a gentile, that is

  167. a sinner or an unbeliever. Is this the only punishment of

  168. the wrongdoer indeed, not. But here, what follows Jesus

  169. goes on to verse Universe, 18. Truly, I say unto you

  170. whatsoever. You shall bind on Earth shall be

  171. bound in heaven and whatsoever. Ye shall loose on Earth, shall

  172. be loosed in heaven. The theophil act, the velocity

  173. of light continues to comment. If you, he says, you have been

  174. done wrong, deemed the wrongdoer of public and a gentile he shall

  175. be. So in heaven as well.

  176. Did you did you hear that? Here we go again.

  177. Stop you're vacuuming pull to one side.

  178. Stop your cleaning and washing of your dishes and changing the

  179. baby. What Have you listened to what

  180. the church fathers are commenting when Jesus says that

  181. after you. You have exhausted, these three

  182. steps wholeheartedly obviously through prayer through fasting

  183. in love with a pure and and holy conscience.

  184. And yet the person who's done you wrong, does not want to take

  185. heed. The Blessed the off, elect the

  186. church fathers, right? If you, he says, who have been

  187. wronged. So have you been wronged?

  188. Oh yeah. Robbie let me tell you, let me

  189. tell you what a heartache this person has has you know, a

  190. Causley. Okay, great, you've been wrong.

  191. Okay now now you know what to do as a Christian, right?

  192. You need to go and admonish that person.

  193. If not, you need to take two and then you need to come to the

  194. church. So once you have done that, look

  195. at the credit, look at where Jesus puts you, if you, he says,

  196. who have been wronged, I read that three times.

  197. I know deemed the wrongdoer Publican and the Gentile that

  198. means you If you declare that person a Publican and a gentile

  199. because you tried, he shall be so in heaven as well.

  200. Saint John chrysostom comments that this is not the authority,

  201. only of the church, but you who genuinely wholeheartedly in

  202. obedient to Jesus Christ have attempted to restrict reconcile,

  203. according to the three steps. Then, if you declare, that

  204. person to be a heathen and a n, a tax collector, then in heaven,

  205. he shall be. And if you lose that is forgive

  206. him, he shall be forgiven in heaven as well.

  207. For it is not only what the priest loose that is loose here

  208. it is, but also whatever we have been run whenever we have been

  209. wronged bind or lose those things too.

  210. Shall be either bound or loosed. You know why beloved?

  211. Because this is when you genuinely love the Lord, when

  212. you do love, love those, who love the Lord, you portray it,

  213. you justify, you prove that by fulfilling his Commandments, and

  214. this is his commandment. Now, this is not a closure to

  215. the matter. No, no by all means, it's not

  216. because in verses 21 and 22 of Matthew 18.

  217. Simon asks, how many times do I forgive my brother?

  218. Who's wronged me that returns to repent, their, the keyword

  219. returns and repents, do I forgive him seven times?

  220. And I've mentioned this, you know, each time I was trying to

  221. be a hero because the norm was three times, but Jesus turns

  222. again, turns around and Again, rebukes him.

  223. No Simon. Don't be a hero, not seven times

  224. Seventy Times seven, seven, not meaning that you need to take

  225. out a calculator and keep tabs. Know, the Blessed the off elect

  226. comments, this is what Peter is asking, how many times if one

  227. scenes and then comes and begs. Forgiveness, repentantly there's

  228. the keyword. Should I forgive him?

  229. He added sin against me. For, if he sins against God.

  230. So, Simon Says sins against me, not against God for E for.

  231. If he sings against God, I a Layman.

  232. This is what Simon was trying to.

  233. This is the point he was trying to make, cannot forgive him, but

  234. only the priests who had the authority from God, but if he

  235. sings against me, then I will forgive him and he will be

  236. forgiven. According to Matthew 18:15 to

    Matthew 18:15–18

  237. 18, though, I am a Layman and not a priest.

  238. He said until Seventy Times Seven not to limit forgiveness

  239. with a number for, it would be absurd for someone to sit and

  240. count occasions. Until they number 490 that is

  241. Seventy Times Seven. But the Lord what he means here

  242. is an infinite number. As if he was saying however,

  243. many times he sings how ever many times he sins and repent

  244. forgive him, he also tells us that we should be Be

  245. compassionate by means of another Parable that he says.

  246. So here's the formula. Someone's done you wrong.

  247. Go and rebuke admonish, man--his in love.

  248. If you sort of the case out, praise God, give glory to God,

  249. and reconcile with a holy kiss as Saint Paul Kermit.

  250. If not take to as Witnesses again, if not take the church

  251. and if the church, the person does have no respect for the

  252. church. Let him be a tax collector and a

  253. pagan, a heathen. Ever when he returns that person

  254. wants to return and reconcile because somehow you've touched

  255. his heart or her heart, you must be ready to forgive.

  256. Why? Because this is what we receive

  257. every day, beloved. When you pray the Lord's Prayer

  258. and you ask the Lord, to forgive your trespasses and dare to say,

  259. as I have forgiven, my debtors, or those who have trespassed

  260. against me, and I haven't, well, that's trying to fool God, but

  261. we can't fool God at all times what?

  262. We receive freely forgiveness. We must give freely.

  263. Matthew, 6:14-15 for, if you forgive other people for their

  264. offenses, your heavenly father will also forgive you.

  265. But if you do not forgive other people, then your father will

  266. not forgive you your offenses. How simple is that?

  267. So before depending on others beloved before, you know,

  268. wanting to always be supervised in our faith, in our walk with

  269. Christ. Let's open the scriptures before

  270. we do. Pray to the Lord, open the

  271. scriptures and see what procedure, what equation, what

  272. directions, the holy scriptures that have been inspired by the

  273. Holy Spirit are leading as praise and glory be to name of

  274. the father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit forever.

  275. We hope you enjoyed this week's message.
