  1. Open your Bibles to Philippians chapter 4 and meet me at verse 19,

    Philippians 4 chapter mention

  2. Philippians chapter 4, verse 19.

    Philippians 4:19

  3. The apostle Paul wrote the book of Philippians to the church in Philippi and to us today.

  4. And he says in verse 19, and my God shall supply all your need according to

  5. his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

  6. I want to read it one more time because I believe it's powerful.

  7. And my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

  8. November 26, 2018, I was driving my car to a small city in North Carolina by the name of Albemarle.

  9. How many of you have ever been to Albemarle?

  10. So I was driving to Albemarle. I was taking these back roads to get to Albemarle.

  11. I was meeting a friend on that day. I was listening to a podcast and I heard

  12. in my heart, I heard the Lord say,

  13. I will regulate your supply by your demand.

  14. That was very impressionable on the inside of me.

  15. I will regulate your supply by your demand.

  16. Many of you know I have a financial background. I used to work for a Wachovia

  17. bank in the financial area. I was a financial relationship counselor.

  18. So finances is my background.

  19. And if you think about supply and demand, that's how the whole economy works

  20. that we live in is based upon supply and demand.

  21. If you are demanding something and there's little supply of it,

  22. that's how prices increase.

  23. People begin to charge more because there's more demand than there is supply.

  24. Conversely, if you are supplying something with little demand,

  25. And things will either go on sale,

  26. right, because they need to get rid of the supply or that company is going out

  27. of business because they're supplying something that no one is demanding.

  28. And the Lord said to me, I'm going to regulate your supply by your demand.

  29. I remember exactly where I was because I was passing this little house on the

  30. left and the Lord spoke that to me and it was powerful for me because at the

  31. time I was in need of some things.

  32. I was in need of some things. I was in need of some things financially.

  33. I had a lot of vision for our ministry, and we didn't have the finances to do it.

  34. You should have more vision than you have finances, by the way.

  35. Are you listening to me? You should have more vision than you do money.

  36. Your vision is what creates the provision.

  37. All right? You're waiting on the provision, and God's waiting on you to have

  38. the vision because your vision will create the provision. And so I was believing

  39. God for some additional things financially for the ministry because I had a lot of vision.

  40. I was believing God for some additional things, for some finances,

  41. for our personal family.

  42. I was believing God for some things in regards to health in my body,

  43. health in the body of my family members.

  44. And the Lord said, I'm going to regulate your supply by your demand.

  45. See, the supplier is at the mercy of the one in demand.

  46. Let me give you a biblical illustration.

  47. Do you remember 2 Kings chapter 4? The lady who was a widow,

    2 Kings 4 chapter mention

  48. her husband passed away.

  49. The husband left her in debt. Don't leave your family in debt.

  50. When you depart, make sure your family is taken care of. Come on, somebody. it.

  51. Make sure that they're taken care of. I don't want to leave my family in debt.

  52. That's why I have life insurance policies and 401ks and IRAs.

  53. Come on. So they can have something if I depart this earth.

  54. But I ain't going no sooner than I'm supposed to go, okay?

  55. And so then the church said, amen, amen, amen. You not either. You not either.

  56. And so she was being pressured to turn her children into slaves because the

  57. creditors wanted to work off the debt.

  58. And so she went to Elijah the prophet. And Elijah says to her,

  59. okay, I see this predicament that you are in.

  60. What do you have in your house?

  61. She said, I ain't got nothing in the house. I sold a large screen TV. I sold a car.

  62. I don't have no couches. I ain't got nothing in the house but a little old jar of oil.

  63. And then he said to her, go, borrow as many vessels as you can,

  64. bring them back to the house and begin to pour.

  65. God, never despise small beginnings. Never look at something that's insignificant.

  66. Something is not nothing.

  67. Let me say it again. Something is not nothing.

  68. You're looking at the, she could have looked at the little jar of oil and said,

  69. that's nothing. But it's actually something.

  70. Something for God to use in order to produce a miracle. So she went and obeyed

  71. the man of God and borrowed all the vessels.

  72. And she brought the vessels in. Her sons helped her. And she shut the door behind her.

  73. She began to pour the oil into all the vessels. And then she turns and she says,

  74. give me another vessel so we can get some more oil.

  75. And her son say to her, we don't have any more vessels.

  76. And then what happened after that? The oil ceased.

  77. So the supplier is at the mercy of the one in demand.

  78. The oil ceased because the cups could no longer demand it. So the oil ceased.

  79. And so if you are a supplier, you got A-tracks and you sell an A-tracks.

  80. There is no demand for your A-track. So you're at the mercy of the one in demand.

  81. And I believe that when the Lord said to me, I will regulate your supply by

  82. your demand, he was telling me to begin to place a demand on the supply,

  83. to lay hold of everything that God has already, through Christ Jesus, laid hold for me.

  84. When you begin to place a demand upon the supply.

  85. The Lord's saying, I will supply all you need according to my riches in glory.

  86. I'm going to, I'm not going to, if you don't demand it, I'm not going to supply

  87. it. That's what he was telling me.

  88. If you just get comfortable and get complacent and be lazy and just sit around,

  89. then I'm not going to supply if you're not placing any demand.

  90. But if you place a demand upon me, I'm going to supply.

  91. And so I sat there and, well, I didn't sit there, I was driving,

  92. but I was, I could not wait to stop because I had to write this down because

  93. the Lord was telling me, put big demands on my word so that I can supply.

  94. Stop asking for little things. Stop only believing for little things.

  95. Stop only settling for little things. And ask God to take care of the whole thing for you.

  96. He shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

  97. Somebody say, my God shall supply.

  98. Now let's make this personal. What this verse is actually saying,

  99. my, means he belongs to me and I belong to him.

  100. God, we talked about this last week, is Elohim, the creator,

  101. the one that brings organization into disorganization.

  102. The mighty God, the one that can create something out of absolutely nothing,

  103. utilizing his words, my, that's personal, Elohim,

  104. I belong to him and he belongs to me, shale.

  105. Somebody say shale. That means he's determined to.

  106. He definitely will. Shale doesn't mean conditional. Shale means 100% it's going to happen.

  107. My God, Elohim, my Elohim, I belong to him, he belongs to me,

  108. is determined to supply.

  109. Somebody shout supply.

  110. Say it like you mean it. Say supply. Your God, your Elohim, your father is determined to supply.

  111. But if you don't have a demand, he doesn't have anything to supply.

  112. He's not going to supply for laziness. Put a demand.

  113. If there's a if it's a healing in your body, put a demand on it and say,

  114. I put a demand on it that the word says by his stripes, I'm healed.

  115. And the scriptures say he died for me so I could be healed.

  116. I put a demand on it and he's going to begin to supply.

  117. Somebody say, man, there was a time I told you all this earlier this year.

  118. But I had been going to my annual physicals and you should be going to your annual physicals, too,

  119. I didn't get a lot of amens on that, but it's the truth It's the truth And so

  120. I was one of my annual physical and there was one Piece of my organ body that

  121. the numbers were reading a little higher than it should,

  122. And so I went four years ago.

  123. The numbers were a little higher

  124. and they said hey This organ is a little higher this that and a third.

  125. I didn't do anything about it Next year I went back the number got a little

  126. higher I didn't do anything about it next year.

  127. I went back got a little higher Everything else was fine, but this particular

  128. organ the numbers I didn't do fourth year went back It got a little higher you

  129. can see it on the ground just going up right numbers getting higher and finally

  130. the Lord spoke to me Say what are you gonna do about this?

  131. I'm just letting it get up there and get up there and get up there.

  132. And he said, what are you going to do about it? And I thought,

  133. okay, there are some things in the natural, obviously, that we're drinking more

  134. water, exercise, come on somebody, you know, cut out McDonald's.

  135. I shouldn't have said that. I don't want to get sued. But, you know,

  136. some things that you could do, right?

  137. And there were some things that I was doing.

  138. And the number kept going up. And I heard him say, what are you going to do

  139. about it? I knew exactly what it meant.

  140. He said, you need to begin to talk to that organ.

  141. See, Elohim is a creator. Elohim speaks. We're created in his image.

  142. He, out of his spirit, he created our spirit.

  143. We're the only species of being that can speak like Elohim can speak.

  144. So he said, when are you going to begin to talk to that organ in your body?

  145. Now, what typically happens, we're waiting on God to talk to him.

  146. God's like, no, no, no, no. So he said in Mark chapter 11, whosoever shall say

    Mark 11 chapter mention

  147. unto this mountain, be thou removed and be thou cast in the sea,

  148. shall not doubt in his heart, but believe those things he says shall come to

  149. pass. He shall have what?

  150. Whatsoever he says. So we're waiting on God to say it. God said,

  151. I'm waiting on you to talk to him.

  152. So I begin to talk to that organ. I begin to call it by its name.

  153. Organ, I talk to you. I command you to be healthy function, healthy numbers. No, no.

  154. Healthy, green numbers and healthy function. That was it. organ,

  155. I'm talking to you right now. Green numbers, healthy function.

  156. Green numbers, healthy function. I can't see the organ. I can't even feel the

  157. organ, but the organ's listening.

  158. I go back to the doctor a year later, and that chart shows the number was going

  159. up like this, and it went straight down into the green numbers,

  160. healthy function. Amen.

  161. Within one year, We're just talking, just talking, creating a demand so that God can begin to supply.

  162. Are you listening to me this morning? Say amen to this.

  163. We're too busy being lackadaisical, just waiting for something to happen and

  164. hoping and wishing it had happened.

  165. It happened for Billy Bob and it happened for Pookie.

  166. It's not happening for me. It's going to happen for me because I'm going to

  167. put a demand on it. And when you put a demand on it, God says,

  168. I definitely will supply.

  169. And then he didn't say some things. The next word he said was all. Somebody shout all.

  170. Whatever it is that you need, he can supply. That's any and everything you need.

  171. I would definitely supply all of it.

  172. But it's not. No, let me. I can't miss this word. Is to need anything you lack

  173. Or anything that is necessary He's saying I'm going to supply anything you lack What is it that you lack.

  174. What is it? Well, I lack a nicer car. Well, believe God, I can supply.

  175. Well, I lack a husband. Well, God said, I'm going to supply. Glory to God. Amen.

  176. Well, I lack a little more energy. God said, I'm going to supply. I lack some wisdom.

  177. God said, I'm going to supply.

  178. If you put a demand on it, I'll supply. And it's not according to your riches.

  179. It's according to his riches.

  180. His abundance, his excess. Somebody say excess.

  181. I heard the Lord say this to me several years ago. He said that you have access to excess.

  182. I said glory to God.

  183. Hallelujah. Are you listening to me today? Jehovah Jireh gives you access to excess.

  184. You are not serving the God who is your father who is broke,

  185. busted, and disgusting.

  186. He's got more wisdom. He's got more energy. He's got more knowledge, insight.

  187. He's got more opportunities to create wealth for you. He's got more opportunities

  188. for you to be healthy and whole.

  189. He will supply all of your need because you have access to his excess.

  190. Glory to God. That's his riches.

  191. Somebody say rich. That's a Bible word. Don't be afraid of that word.

  192. It just simply means to have more than you need.

  193. Amen. And he's going to do it by his glory.

  194. I'm going to supply all you need according to my riches in glory.

  195. That means all of his presence and all of his goodness.

  196. Amen. The glory of the Lord is his goodness.

  197. Woo, he's good. He is just good. And he's not good because you're good.

  198. He is just good. He's Jehovah the good.

  199. Now that's a name I made up. That's not a real Bible name, but Jehovah,

  200. I like that. Jehovah the good.

  201. He's just good. He's extra good. And that's what the glory is.

  202. I like when Moses asked for the glory and we sung today, show me your glory.

  203. What you're saying is show me all of the presence that you possess and show me all of your goodness.

  204. Jehovah the good. Say that. Jehovah the good. I like that. I may have to find

  205. that somewhere. Glory to God.

  206. He is good simply because he's good and he wants to show you his glory.

  207. All of the, all of his presence. I mean, he wouldn't even let Moses see his

  208. face. Moses said, show me your glory.

  209. He's catch my backside. But in Corinthians, it says the glory is found in the face of Jesus Christ.

  210. Hallelujah. When you look at Jesus, you see the glory.

  211. Glory to God. You see his presence. You see him for who he is and you see all of his goodness.

  212. Scripture says that you shall not lack because the Lord is your shepherd.

  213. Somebody say amen to that. And he's doing this by Christ Jesus.

  214. Say this out loud. My God is the source of all my supply.

  215. The word God, Elohim, also means originator or source.

  216. He's the source of your supply. Stop looking to government.

  217. To be your supply them folks in government gonna do whatever they want to do,

  218. they are not your source they are

  219. not your supply now you go out and vote but they gonna do what they want to

  220. do anyway you're gonna have to put your eyes on elohim the source of your supply

  221. the government stop looking to the government stop looking to other people to be your supply,

  222. Stop looking at other people. I had to do this just recently.

  223. I was getting upset and frustrated about some things that I feel like other people should be doing.

  224. Family members and certain friends. You know, they should be doing this and

  225. they should be doing that and they should be helping this and they should be celebrating that.

  226. And I was getting all upset and the Lord corrected me. He said,

  227. you can't control other people.

  228. Why am I all upset somebody ain't doing something and getting happy about something

  229. I'm happy about? I'm upset. How come auntie getting excited about that?

  230. Well, why do auntie get excited? I'm excited, why auntie? I can't control them.

  231. We got our eyes on these other people, expecting these other people to do things

  232. that I heard in my heart expect nothing.

  233. From other people, but appreciate everything.

  234. Expect nothing. My beautiful, virtuous, mighty woman of God,

  235. Stacey, is amazing to me.

  236. She makes my plate every single day for dinner.

  237. I love it. I don't expect it.

  238. I say thank you every time. I appreciate it.

  239. And then there are times she don't make it, I don't get mad because I wasn't

  240. expecting it. Are you listening to me?

  241. I'm appreciative that she's doing that and she doesn't have to, but she does it.

  242. And that'll get you away from disappointment and frustration and argument and all of that.

  243. When you just begin to look at other folks, I don't expect you to do nothing

  244. for me, but if you do, I appreciate it.

  245. Are you getting this today? See, we get upset because we're looking to somebody else to supply.

  246. Somebody else is going to supply this for me. Somebody else is going to take

  247. care. And then when they don't do it, you're upset.

  248. Well, I expected them to do it. Well, they're going to let you down.

  249. The scripture says, don't put your trust in princes and people.

  250. Put your trust in the Lord.

  251. He'll never let you down. Now, from God, we should always have expectation.

  252. We should expect his word to come to pass in our life. But from other people,

  253. I'm telling you right now, just stop it.

  254. Stop expecting other people to do what you think they should do because they're

  255. going to cause frustration.

  256. They're going to cause hurt and anger.

  257. And you're going to be sad and depressed when they don't do what you expect them to do.

  258. And a lot of times the frustration occurs because the expectations have not even been set.

  259. So you're mad because you're expecting your sister to do this for you,

  260. and you ain't never had a conversation with your sister about it, and she didn't do it.

  261. Now you mad at your sister, and y'all never even set the expectations.

  262. That's where the frustration occurs.

  263. But then hurt anger comes when your sister said, I'm going to do it.

  264. And then say, you know what? I'll tell you, my mom ain't going to do that no more. And I don't care.

  265. That's when you get angry. And then this is where you got to get like,

  266. no, no, no. You groan. you do what you want to do, my trust is in the Lord.

  267. You're a grown man or woman, and you're going to do whatever you want to do.

  268. My expectation is in the Lord. If you do something for me, I appreciate it,

  269. but I am not expecting you to do anything for me. Say amen to that.

  270. This is how you live your life, free from offense.

  271. I'm just free from offense because I actually didn't set an expectation for

  272. you, and you did it, and thank you for doing that. Amen.

  273. Don't look to the government for your supply Don't look to other people for

  274. your supply Don't look to your job for your supply Stop looking,

  275. well, my job said this and that You know, they lie too.

  276. Yeah, they do They say a lot of stuff,

  277. We're going to do, we're going, you know what We ain't going,

  278. I remember when I was in corporate America We ain't going to mess with the incentive

  279. plan I worked off sales And that was our big payment was the incentive plan

  280. We ain't going to mess with that every year they mess with it and reduce it, made it harder,

  281. to make the same, you know what I'm talking about the same amount of money we

  282. ain't gonna mess, I promise you it's the last time we're gonna mess with it, it's not.

  283. They're going to mess with you. They're going to try to get the most out of

  284. you and give you the least.

  285. But your expectation is not in them. I'm not looking to you to supply. Amen.

  286. Amen. I'm not looking to my job to supply. As your pastor, I'm not even looking for you to supply.

  287. My expectation is on him. That's why I'm going to get up here and be like,

  288. won't you help me? Come on, somebody. Give.

  289. Give. I need 10 people right here to give $1,000 if I can get 10.

  290. I don't do that because my expectation's on him.

  291. If God's got to bring a raven to drop it off at my front door, God will do that. Amen.

  292. There was one particular time I had a man who didn't go to our church or anything.

  293. He'd come driving to my house. He left the car running, left the door open.

  294. He'd come ring the doorbell. He goes, I can't stay long, but the Lord told me to bring you $1,200.

  295. And he had hundreds just falling out this envelope. and I said,

  296. praise the Lord. What's this for? He said, it's for your ministry.

  297. I said, glory to God. And he took off, ran and jumped right back and took off.

  298. He was there for about three minutes.

  299. I said, and the Lord said, I can get anything to you.

  300. There was one particular time in the ministry.

  301. We had this particular guy in our church and he was a guy that told me, pastor, I'm with you.

  302. Be leery of anybody that says that, by the way.

  303. I'm with you to the end I ain't going nowhere okay I'm with you I'm with you

  304. Robert's on camera he's been with me about 11 years and Robert ain't never tell

  305. you I'm with you pastor he just he just keeps showing up,

  306. he just keeps showing up I can't get rid of him he keep coming,

  307. and he's I'm with you we ain't going nowhere well then he I mean he abruptly

  308. left I mean didn't say nothing it.

  309. Gone. I remember sitting on the couch. I'll never forget.

  310. Sitting on the couch, I started getting nervous, shaking, and a hive started

  311. coming, and a fever started coming. I was hurt.

  312. I was upset because I was expecting the man to be with me.

  313. He was gone, and I was hurt. I was upset, and at the time, he was also a guy

  314. because we were just getting going.

  315. He was a guy that was contributing financially and I thought man oh my goodness

  316. what are we gonna do he just abruptly left and I'm hurt I'm sitting on the couch

  317. with a blanket in the summertime.

  318. Oh, shaking and stuff and acting crazy because my expectation was in him.

  319. And I heard the Lord say, get up off this couch.

  320. Get out this house. So I just had to get out the house, jumped in the car,

  321. drove, and I just, at the time, we had a church P.O. box.

  322. And I drove to the church P.O. box and opened it up and there was a check in

  323. there for $3,500 out of the blue.

  324. And the man said, I just want to be a blessing to your ministry.

  325. And the Lord told me, stop putting your attention on people that's around and put it on me.

  326. I'll take care of your every need. I'll supply. If you put the demand on me, I will supply.

  327. But we've got it mixed up. Some of us, you know, we look into our spouse.

  328. Supply. You supposed to supply this? You supposed to supply that?

  329. And there are some things that marital relationships should take place. Say amen to that.

  330. But don't look for them to be your supply.

  331. My God is my supply. Say this.

  332. My God is the source of all my supply.

  333. Stop looking at other people. Stop looking at other people. Keep your eyes on

  334. him. People will let you down.

  335. People are going to let you down.

  336. We got to depend on people, though. See, that's the equilibrium that we got

  337. to live in That we have to depend on people But also knowing that they may let you down,

  338. But I got to depend on you And guess what? You may let somebody down.

  339. You may miss the mark, make a mistake, and let them down.

  340. And then you got to forgive yourself and say, you know what?

  341. I'm not the supplier. Amen?

  342. I'm not the one that supplies. God's going to supply. God's going to make it right.

  343. The devil sometimes gets you. There's some times I ain't done everything right.

  344. I've hurt some people. And one time I was remembering about this particular

  345. person I had hurt. And I don't know why I was thinking about it.

  346. And I was like, I can't believe I hurt. Oh, I felt so bad. and that person was

  347. so mad at me and I let them down and I hurt them and the devil was talking to

  348. me about it. And I said, you know what?

  349. Lord, forgive me, but supply whatever is in their life that I messed up.

  350. I can't do anything about it now.

  351. But you be the supplier in their life and hopefully they're doing well and hopefully

  352. that didn't set them back and hopefully they learned something.

  353. I learned something and we can move on. Amen. Amen.

  354. Supply is what God has said that he would do.

  355. And here's the key I want you to see. He hasn't promised he would do it.

  356. We know he's not a man that he would lie.

  357. He has said, I definitely will.

  358. I'm not saying that I'm going to promise in the future to do something.

  359. No, if you put a demand, I will supply.

  360. Scripture Jesus said ask and it shall be given, right?

  361. Seek and you shall find. Knock and the door shall be opened.

  362. What if I never asked? Well, it won't be given.

  363. What if I never seek? You're not going to find it. What if I never knocked on

  364. that door of opportunity?

  365. It's not going to open. And so the onus is on us to place the demand.

  366. The word ask also means, if you study it out, also means to place a demand, to place a demand upon.

  367. When you're asking, hey, whatever it might be, you're placing a demand upon it.

  368. And then what God is saying is, I will supply.

  369. In Corinthians, I'm sorry, in 1 John, he talks about, this is the confidence that you have in me.

  370. That if you ask anything according to my will, I believe it's chapter 4, I will hear you.

  371. And then he says, then I would give you.

  372. Right? what you've asked for when it's according to my will.

  373. Well, how do we know if it's according to his will when we find it in the word of God?

  374. That's the will of God is the word of God. If you see it in the word, it is his will.

  375. And so if we ask, if we place a demand, if we begin to seek and knock.

  376. Scripture is telling us that God will supply man's inflation has no impact on God's supply.

  377. Say amen to that man's inflation has no impact on God's supply.

  378. Stacy had been going to the grocery store. She does the grocery shopping and

  379. she started telling me how much the groceries were costing.

  380. Oh, Devon, the grocer, this piece of meat right here used to be this, and now it's this.

  381. And she was telling me, and just, you know, we're friends, right?

  382. We're married, friends. I said, listen, I need you to stop telling me.

  383. Because I'm starting to get a little concerned now. Like, wait a minute,

  384. that used to be $9, and now it's $29?

  385. Yes! Okay. I said, okay, just don't tell me that anymore. or just get the meat and bring it home.

  386. And if you need to talk to somebody, call one of your friends and y'all talk

  387. about that, but don't talk to me about it because I don't want to get diverted.

  388. I'm believing God to supply. And if I start hearing that, I'm going to start

  389. doing something in the flesh.

  390. Like, you know what, maybe I need another job.

  391. Maybe we don't need to eat anymore, right?

  392. I said, no, no, no, no. I don't need to know how much that costs, okay? Just get it, okay?

  393. And even at the gas pump, I don't even, I just kind of fill it up. I don't even look.

  394. It needs to be filled up, and then I just take it off the thing. That's it, right?

  395. If you ask me how much it costs, I don't know, because I never looked at it,

  396. okay? I never looked at it. Somebody say amen to that.

  397. Look at Philippians 4.19 in the Passion Translation. I like it in the Passion

  398. Translation. I am convinced that my God will fully satisfy every need you have. Glory to God.

  399. For I've seen the abundant riches of glory revealed to me through the anointed one, Jesus Christ.

  400. In the message translation, let's look at it in the message translation.

  401. You can be sure that God will take care of everything you need.

  402. Are you receiving this? His generosity exceeding even yours in the glory that pours from Jesus.

  403. Let's look at that in the New Living Translation. The New Living Translation.

  404. And this same God who takes care of me will supply all of your needs from his

  405. glorious riches which you have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

  406. Let's look at it from the Amplified Classic Translation.

  407. And my God will liberally supply, feel to the full.

  408. He's not barely supplying.

  409. Feel to the full your every need according to his riches, not your paycheck.

  410. His riches, not your bank account. His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

  411. Let's look at the Amplified translation, Philippians 4 and the Amplified.

  412. And my God will liberally, liberally supply, feel, I like this one, feel until full.

  413. Your every need, not some of your needs, not one need and the other,

  414. you got to continue to lack.

  415. Your every need according to his riches, he don't run out in glory in Christ Jesus.

  416. Let's look at it in the easy to read translation.

  417. Easy to read translation. My God will use his glorious riches to give you everything you need.

  418. Do you see all the absolute words here? He's going to supply your every need. Now listen to this.

  419. His provision is always abundantly more than you can do in your own strength.

  420. His provision is always abundantly more than you can do in his own strength.

  421. And I challenge you to counter this way of thinking that I'm about to tell you right now.

  422. Most of the time, if you're honest, you think more about what could happen rather

  423. than about what God said will happen.

  424. Let me say it again. If you're honest, you think more about what could happen

  425. rather than about what God said will happen.

  426. He's saying he will supply.

  427. Stop, stop. Oh, well, if he don't, then what do I need to do?

  428. That's the greatest fear that we have. The enemy uses this as a tactic.

  429. The greatest fear we contend with is that God's word will not come to pass in

  430. our life. That's his number one tactic.

  431. That God's word is not going to come to pass. So even though he said he will,

  432. you need to come up with plan B, C, D, E, F, X, L, M, N, O, P.

  433. No, what you need to do is rest in his promises.

  434. And whatever he tells you to do, you just do it.

  435. Remember in John chapter two, Jesus' disciples came to mother Mary and Mary

  436. told them, when they ran out of wine, Mary told them, whatever he tells you to do, do it.

  437. That's our commandment, whatever he tells you to do. So I'm tripped out,

  438. I'm freaking out, I need a supply, wherever it might be.

  439. Calm your nerves, settle down and say, Lord, what would you tell me to do?

  440. And I'm gonna rest in your promise.

  441. I'm gonna rest in the statement that you are going to supply all my need. He's a good father.

  442. If my children, if they had a need that I can supply, I'm going to supply it.

  443. No ifs, ands, buts about it.

  444. Now, we're talking about Father God who has unlimited,

  445. limitless resources from extra body parts in heaven that he can give to you.

  446. That sounds crazy, but it happens.

  447. People go to the doctor like your heart was bad and you got a new heart.

  448. Where did that new heart come from?

  449. From the storehouse of heaven. Somebody placed a demand on it,

  450. pulled it down. Glory to God.

  451. Financially, to wisdom, to understanding, to even more patience and kindness.

  452. He can supply and he can give it to you. Why would he withhold it?

  453. Scripture says there is no good thing that he will withhold. Right?

  454. From you. He is a supplier.

  455. He is the origin, the initiator, the originator, the source of all supply.

  456. And our responsibility is to place a demand.

  457. Place a demand on it. I place a demand on it, whatever it is.

  458. I place a demand on it, whatever it might be. Put a demand on it.

  459. We were, and I'll end with this, Stacey was talking to me about, I'll tell two stories.

  460. One, she was talking to me about getting a dual air fryer, right?

  461. Now, air fryer, I'll tell you what. Yeah, you know what I'm talking about.

  462. Hey, air fryer changed the game, okay?

  463. She says, I want one of them dual air fryers. And we're looking online and it

  464. costs what it costs because we had one little one, but we got a big family. We need dual.

  465. And it costs what it costs or whatever, and we're looking like,

  466. okay, we'll plan to get an air fryer.

  467. And somebody, she ain't said nothing to nobody but me about it.

  468. Somebody told her, say, oh yeah, I got two brand new air fryers at home,

  469. dual air fryers. I was thinking, do you want one?

  470. Yes I do she said how much she said no I just want to give it she said no I

  471. want to give you something I said girl you better learn how to receive,

  472. say I receive it and drive over there and pick it up I'll take you over there,

  473. she said I receive it was exactly what she wanted it was as if the Lord said

  474. I will supply and she put a demand on it when the iPad mini came out years ago.

  475. It was the small iPad you could put in your pocket.

  476. I really wanted the iPad mini. I never told anybody but my wife about this iPad mini.

  477. I was like, you know, I want to get this mini. It's going to help me preach and with my notes.

  478. And I never said anything but to her. And I saw the commercials.

  479. And then this one particular pastor calls me up. He said, hey,

  480. come hang out with me. I want to run some things by you.

  481. So I went to his church and we hung out.

  482. Good friend, a good pastor, and he didn't talk to me about nothing. Tressa, nothing.

  483. Like, I thought we needed, you want to talk.

  484. Nothing. He said, hey, I need to run to South Park Mall.

  485. Can you run with me? And I was like, well, okay. And so I ran with him,

  486. and he was in the Apple store, and I'm hanging out just looking around the Apple store.

  487. And then we come out, and we go back. My car was parked at his church,

  488. and we go back to his church. And he was like, I said, well, man, I need to go.

  489. You know, We hung out, we had a good time, had some lunch, and I didn't tell

  490. him, you didn't talk about nothing.

  491. Nothing at all, but I guess you just needed some guy time or some friendship time or whatever.

  492. And then I get ready to go into my car and he comes and he pulls out a bag and

  493. he pulls out an iPad mini.

  494. And he said, the Lord told me to buy this for you.

  495. And that's why he wanted to meet. Now, I'm not a crier. I started crying.

  496. I said, oh. He was like, oh, wow.

  497. And then his wife was there. He was like, come, come, come, come,

  498. look. Come look. And he had a couple stopping. Come on, come on.

  499. And I'm like, they watching me.

  500. I'm like, man, why are you embarrassing me like that? Everybody here is watching.

  501. He said, I didn't know it was going to affect you like that.

  502. I said, no. I said, I had just said that I wanted an iPad mini.

  503. I said, did my wife tell you that? He goes, no, I don't talk to you.

  504. I was like, he said, no, I just wanted to buy this for you. That's why we went

  505. to the Apple store and buy it.

  506. And the Lord is saying, I'll supply.

  507. I'll supply. Let me supply. Let me supply. He's the source.

  508. Let him show his goodness. Let him reveal his presence.

  509. These are undeniable ways. And there's other things I could tell you if I had

  510. more time about how he just has supplied what we needed.

  511. Now I have, I don't have the mini anymore. I got a different iPad, praise God.

  512. But it was a need that God supplied. Amen?

  513. And then he's going to ask you to supply needs for others.

  514. There's no greater feeling. I know I received this iPad. It was a great feeling,

  515. but there's no greater feeling when he asked me to supply something for somebody else.

  516. Oh, I got the joy of the Lord is all over me. We said, I want you to go ahead and buy that for them.

  517. I want you to take care of that for them or handle that for them.

  518. That's the greatest joy because it's more blessed to give, or let me say it

  519. this way, to supply than it is to receive.

  520. And Paul said all of this in Philippians 4.19 after an offering.

  521. There was an offering that was taking place. They were giving unto the Lord.

  522. And then Paul said, if you contribute and participate in this offering,

  523. then my God shall supply all your need according to his riches and glory by Christ Jesus.

  524. This is how you experience true life.
