  1. In the name of the Glorious Trinity.

  2. Father and Son and Holy Spirit forever.

  3. Amen. Glory be to the Everlasting

  4. mercies which sent you to us. Oh, Christ the light of the

  5. world and the life of all give us wisdom by your law and

  6. Enlighten our impulses, by your knowledge sanctify, our souls by

  7. your truth and Grant that we may be obedient to your words and

  8. may fulfill your Commandments at every hour.

  9. O you who enlightens the rationale with the knowledge of

  10. your greatness? Do Enlighten?

  11. Oh my Lord, our thoughts that we made meditate upon your holy and

  12. divine scriptures at all times O Lord of all Father and Son and

  13. Holy Spirit. The greatest Commandment that

  14. Jesus has given us is the Commandment of love.

  15. I new commandment. I give you is that you love one.

  16. Another love today. Love has many colors.

  17. I'm sorry to say from pornographic to fake.

  18. Being fake when we hear the word love.

  19. We immediately, you know, consider charity, which is

  20. great. We consider helping one another.

  21. I mean, that's great. The love between a boyfriend and

  22. a girlfriend when a boy and a girl are going steady, the girl

  23. must prove her love by giving the boy everything.

  24. You know what I'm talking about? And vice versa and when you love

  25. someone, you need to have a sexual relationship with that.

  26. Person. And by the way, let me tell you

  27. something. Just because you love someone

  28. and you have a sexual relationship outside of marriage

  29. that is still fornication. Love doesn't bind a husband and

  30. wife, no, the church binds, the husband and wife through the

  31. prayers and the holy matrimony so the kind of love that Jesus

  32. Has commanded us to, to show one another, the pure and genuine

  33. Love Is defined in the Epistle of Love of st.

  34. Paul, the Apostle, 1 Corinthians 13, although I always say the

  35. love, the 1 Corinthians, 13 love.

  36. We're going to have a look at that but I'm going to just take

  37. among I'm going to only take one characteristics of Love.

  38. Deadpool is talking about and that is patient.

  39. The love that Jesus. Has commanded us to share with

  40. one with each other. Is a patient and sweet, pleasant

  41. kind Love, Not A Love. That involves giving not a love

  42. that. That has to be proven by giving,

  43. no patience, sweet pleasant and kind up.

  44. We talked about patients in the last episode.

  45. Another word used for patients is long-suffering When a mother

  46. is being patient with a child because the child is involved in

  47. drugs, and is in and out of jail.

  48. And he's, you know, always having a brush with the law and

  49. crime. What have you?

  50. The mother is suffering. I mean, she's being patient.

  51. But patient, also Intel's long-suffering which is what st.

  52. John chrysostom puts it as the root of all self-denial.

  53. So So loved that he self-denial. Sweet pleasant and kind is what

  54. we need to portray one. Another, that is what we need to

  55. possess beard, in marriage, in relationships, in families, in

  56. friends, in relatives, and what have you and our neighbor.

  57. Let's not forget, Jesus gave us a parable of the Good Samaritan.

  58. Who is my neighbor. Anyone who is in need Proverbs

    Proverbs 14:29

  59. Chapter 14 verse 29. Claims a man that is

  60. long-suffering that his patient is of great understanding.

  61. But that, or he, who is Hasty of spirit is mildly, foolish.

  62. Proverbs 13 verse 32. He that his patient is better

  63. than a mighty men and he that subdudes himself.

  64. Then he that seizes a City Saint John chrysostom rides on

  65. long-suffering or patients that they are unbeatable.

  66. Weapons and are sort of impenetrable Towers easily

  67. beating off all annoyances. Jesus Christ.

  68. We saw these in Jesus Christ, the scorning the ridiculed, the

  69. refusal, the rejection, the resistance, the evil that was

  70. wrought on him yet. He was not penetrated at all.

  71. Why? Because he was patient and he

  72. was long-suffering, you may say yeah, Robbie, you're talking

  73. about God incarnate, we're not. Yes, I am talking about God

  74. incarnate. I'm but we too, we too have been

  75. promised by God incarnate that, if we suffer with him, we will

  76. reign with him. Suffering means long-suffering

  77. being patient. Beloved, this is the quality of

  78. love that. We need to possess.

  79. This is the love that we need to possess and this is the love

  80. that st. Paul talks about in Corinthians

  81. chapter 1, verse First Corinthians chapter 13.

    1 Corinthians 13 chapter mention

  82. So John chrysostom goes on to say and as a spark falling into

  83. the deep, Deep does no injury. Now when a spark Falls in a deep

  84. nothing happens but it itself. Easily is quenched the spark

  85. just goes out, so upon a long-suffering Soul, whatever

  86. unexpected thing Falls, this Soul indeed speedily vanishes or

  87. the unexpected things vanish, but the soul is Disturbed, but

  88. nothing happens to the soul. The person is not is not moved

  89. at all. Truly there is nothing so

  90. impenetrable as long-suffering with your patient whatever comes

  91. upon you and and you know again the quality of patients that

  92. Jesus possess not what the world put trays.

  93. You know I'll give you once twice third time you know but

  94. you know what is it? Beat me once fool me once and

  95. fool me twice. No not not what what is it?

  96. George Bush Club. No no being patient.

  97. Constantly being patient. Long-suffering for someone,

  98. anything that comes Upon Us, Saint John chrysostom, he's

  99. teaching his that they won't affect us maybe for a short

  100. period of time but we learn to overcome and just as Jesus did

  101. second Peter 3:9, the Lord God does not delay his promises.

    2 Peter 3:9

  102. See there's the promise as people consider delay but he is

  103. patient for your sake. Think about it beloved brother

  104. and sister. In one day.

  105. No, not even a date in an hour. In a period of one hour.

  106. How many times do we grieve? The holy spirit of God.

  107. How many times? And you do we see Farm

  108. Brimstone, come down on this novel?

  109. How many times have we have? We sinned to the point where we

  110. are ashamed to face our Lord. But we still hear the voice of

  111. God. Telling us to come.

  112. I'm patient with you. Um, repent.

  113. I will receive you one more time, repent and sin.

  114. No more. So, the Lord God does not delay

  115. his promises as people consider delay, but he is patient for

  116. your sake. Even when we grieve His Holy

  117. Spirit and because he is not willing that any person would

  118. perish, but that every person would come to conversion.

  119. That is repentance, that is, that should drive us to

  120. long-suffering that the person that is in wrong is, in error,

  121. is in evil, is in sin, that we must be long per patient and

  122. long-suffering. So that that person is converted

  123. comes to repentance. And sometimes the best thing you

  124. do during being patient is to pray.

  125. And too fast for that situation for that circumstance for that

  126. person. That is why our love should be

  127. long suffering for the sake of the repentance or eventually a

  128. new life in Jesus Christ for others and ultimately salvation

  129. for Eternal condemnation. Beloved, if a person is living

  130. in sin, we see in the prayers of the Liturgy of the burial of the

  131. Dead that the judge will not forgive the soul that has not

  132. repented. We Say this, we sing this.

  133. And I must preach this. I must not sing this and say it

  134. and then get on the pulpit and say well no God is merciful to

  135. forgive everyone. Yes.

  136. Yes, right now he is patient with us as long as we are living

  137. on this Earth but when the Lord returns, when the Heavenly

  138. bridegroom returns and the and the five for the 10 oz of the

  139. five foolish virgins didn't have oil.

  140. What did Jesus say what did the bridegroom say?

  141. I do not know you they knocked on their door.

  142. Or of the banquet and said, have mercy on us.

  143. Let us see. Any said, I do not know you.

  144. So that is why we must be long suffering for all the, for the

  145. friend, the brother, the best frame, I go from my husband, my

  146. wife, whoever it is my neighbor, because if they continue to Live

  147. and Die, unrepented in sin, they will not enter the Kingdom of

  148. Heaven. There is no salvation.

  149. So let's be patient with those long suffering.

  150. For those that are An error so that we can bring them to the

  151. knowledge of the truth, new life with Jesus Christ.

  152. And as I said, ultimately salvation from Eternal

  153. condemnation. So John chrysostom continues to

  154. ride. You may talk of armies.

  155. Money horses, walls, arms or anything else whatsoever, you

  156. will name nothing like long-suffering, it is the

  157. greatest charity. It is the greatest gift.

  158. The greatest help assistance that you can give a person who

  159. is in error, who has wronged you, whatever that you must be

  160. long suffering and being patient with it.

  161. Person that is the type of, when you say to someone, I love you,

  162. meaning, whatever it takes from me.

  163. I am prepared to give to continue to remain with this

  164. love that I have for you. You know, many people say to me

  165. so father when someone is called a core, sorry someone is caught

  166. in adultery. So you know, definitely divorce

  167. is warranted, right? The husband or the wife yet they

  168. have the right to I see, of course they do according to the

  169. holy scriptures of course. But hey, how many times, how

  170. many times do we commit spiritual adultery?

  171. I mean, times that we worship that, which is not God.

  172. How many times do we give more love for our social media?

  173. Our image right? Then love for Jesus Christ.

  174. How many times that's that spiritual adultery but Jesus

  175. keeps taking his back, so the husband can be long-suffering

  176. and be patient so that he can save that relationship that

  177. marriage. We could not only because of the

  178. children, God will take care of the children.

  179. All children suffer more in broken marriages.

  180. Yes, they do. But God will take care of those

  181. children, you know, who suffers those who are in error, those

  182. who are, who go through divorces, because of lack of

  183. self-confidence, I'm sorry, lack of patience and lack of

  184. long-suffering the patient, the long-suffering the suite that

  185. Pleasant the kind love that we possess is a weapon.

  186. That truly will Heap coal upon the heads of our enemies.

  187. Now, People say, yeah, that's great.

  188. You know, I'll show love for someone so I can see that person

  189. burning with the calls. Well, that's wickedness.

  190. That's not what the Bible says. That's not what Jesus was

  191. saying. Paul is instructing us.

  192. No, not wickedness. Beloved but rather as Oregon of

  193. Alexandria rights for the benefit of our enemy, he writes

  194. for it may be that a Savage and barbarous mind.

  195. If it the Mind feels our Goodwill, our kindness, our love

  196. and our godliness. Maybe struck by it and repent

  197. and he will swear that as he's conscience torments him for the

  198. wrong, which he has done. It is as if a fire were

  199. enveloping or persisting him. So we can put people, we can

  200. encourage people, we can instill the fire, and the Zeal, and a

  201. desire in those people whom we show patience and love.

  202. That they may come back to repentance and to reconciliation

  203. with us if we are, you know, not at odds with one another if they

  204. are doing us wrong. So patience is the weapon to

  205. Heap these coal, because what did st.

  206. Paul say, love your enemies, feed them.

  207. If they're hungry, feed them. If the Thirsty, give them to

  208. drink by doing this, you are heaping, burning hot.

  209. So that means by doing this, you may change that person's

  210. character from Evil to. Sentence that is what Romans 12,

  211. 14 alludes to Beloved, the patients that long-suffering

  212. that are greater than the armies Saint, John chrysostom rights

  213. greater than armies and money and horses, and walls, and arms

  214. and anything in Fame. And glamour patients is greater

  215. for he that encompasses armies money horses.

  216. Walls arms often times being overcome by anger is upset, like

  217. a worthless. Us child and feels all with

  218. confusion and commotion because there is no patience.

  219. But the man beloved that possesses long-suffering settled

  220. at it were in a harbor, enjoys. A profound sincere.

  221. Calm Well what? What an attribute that it sounds

  222. beautiful. I mean, when you read these

  223. commentaries of the father's, you know, it seems Stills in

  224. your desire that yeah. You know.

  225. I want to be I want to be patient but yet beloved patient.

  226. Comes according to 1 Peter chapter 2 after Faith, knowledge

    1 Peter 2 chapter mention

  227. virtue and self-control comes patience.

  228. You can't just possess patients without believing in the Lord

  229. Jesus. Jesus Christ, you cannot possess

  230. patient's a love that is characterized by patients

  231. without looking at, Jesus Christ.

  232. Beloved, and that's what? Hebrews says in chapter 12 verse

  233. 2 and let us gaze at Jesus. Who is the author and the

  234. Perfecter of our faith, who for the joy?

  235. That was, he's the joy that was he is what Joy beloved,

  236. Resurrection. Eternal life for you and I, he

  237. endured the cross. Ross and ignored the shame.

  238. And he sits upon the right side of the Throne of God.

  239. Did you hear that? Beloved, he endured the cross.

  240. He ignored the shame, he took the shame as though didn't even

  241. happen to him. Look at the love.

  242. This is Grace. What we were talking about.

  243. Last week, Grace, this is the grace of God.

  244. He took our shame, but he took it as though, it didn't even

  245. happen to him, he ignored it. And he sits at the right hand of

  246. the Throne of God and that, my dear beloved brother and sister

  247. in Christ, is a promise for you. And I, so I want your undivided.

  248. Detention now. Listen, stop the washing and the

  249. in the vacuuming and pulled one side.

  250. This Promise is for you and I look at what st.

  251. Paul writes to Timothy in his Second Epistle chapter 2, verse

  252. 12. If we suffer if we possess the

  253. patient sweet kind long-suffering love that, Jesus

  254. possessed. If we suffer with him for one

  255. another Suffer because for him suffer, because of him for him.

  256. And for one another, we shall also reign with Jesus Christ.

  257. Did you hear that? Did you hear that?

  258. Let me read it again. If we suffer, so you're

  259. suffering now. Stop whinging, stop whinging or

  260. phenomena? Oh, why, why is it like this?

  261. And why is it like that, if he's a loving God, why is there so

  262. much evil? Because this human beings are

  263. living on this world? On this Earth.

  264. Beloved human beings, man? Commits crimes.

  265. Not everything is God's fault. So get over it.

  266. God is in full control. God knows but God has given that

  267. gift. For you.

  268. And I which is Free Will the gift of free.

  269. Will the gracious gift of Free Will and we use it evilly.

  270. We use it in a way that is not pleasing and appeasing to God.

  271. We use it as you know as though I know how to use it.

  272. It's mine. I'll use it as I want mine and

  273. no one can tell me what to do. Nothing is yours.

  274. All we possess beloved is that six feet Grave that is waiting,

  275. everyone. That's what we possess.

  276. So let's get over these whinging about suffering.

  277. There will be suffering, Christ, didn't come and sugarcoat

  278. Christianity. Listen cries hasn't promised you

  279. that you're going to be a very lovey-dovey life on Earth know

  280. Christ has actually said you're going to suffer.

  281. So you want to believe you want to continue to believe in Jesus

  282. Christ and love. Jesus Christ.

  283. You must be glorifying. God, jumping for joy.

  284. Only as the disciples did because you are suffering for

  285. Jesus Christ and know that. When you suffer for Jesus

  286. Christ, you're hammering Satan. Satan is at your feet and you

  287. are. Other powering and you are

  288. totally distracting Satan. So if we suffer, if we continue

  289. in long-suffering, we shall also reign with him where we're in

  290. Disneyland know in Europe. No, the Astra Austrian Alps?

  291. No, no, no. In the Kingdom of Heaven.

  292. The Eternal Kingdom. Beloved of God, the kingdom of

  293. heaven, But if we're announcing, you want to let go of Christ

  294. because Life's a little bit unbearable.

  295. Well he will also renounce you because you are disobedient.

  296. If we renounce Jesus Christ because we're having issues of

  297. health and relationships and, and, and finances Whatever It

  298. Is. Well, he will renounce, that

  299. Eternal Kingdom from us as well. So let's continue in

  300. long-suffering let us suffer. For our faith.

  301. For our Lord. Jesus Christ with our Lord,

  302. Jesus Christ. Let us suffer for one another

  303. beloved, be patient with one. Another next time, someone says

  304. to you, I love you you reply and say is that the love that is

  305. long-suffering and sweet and kind or is it a lip service love

  306. or a cliche love? Is it one of those?

  307. I loved you first and most and loved you more in.

  308. What have you right? No, no next time.

  309. Someone proclaimed. That he or she loves you examine

  310. that love next time you want to express.

  311. Love for someone. You first examine your love.

  312. Before you give it to someone else.

  313. Is it long suffering? Is it patient?

  314. Is it kind? Is it sweet?

  315. Because, beloved, this is the love of God.

  316. Every day. Every second of Our Lives God is

  317. being patient with us. He's Lobby sweet.

  318. He's loved his kind and he does not desire.

  319. The death. Of a sinner but that he shall

  320. repent from his evil and live, praise and glory be to Christ

  321. Our Lord. Now in at all times and forever,

  322. we hope you enjoyed this week's message.
