  1. Open your Bibles to 2 Timothy chapter 3 and meet me at verse 1.

    2 Timothy 3 chapter mention

  2. 2 Timothy chapter 3, meet me at verse 1.

    2 Timothy 3 chapter mention

  3. Paul tells us in this passage of scriptures, but know this, that in the last

  4. days perilous times will come.

  5. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money.

  6. Boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents.

  7. Unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers without self-control,

  8. brutal, despisers of good.

  9. Verse 4 tells us, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than

  10. lovers of God. Look at verse 5, having a form of godliness.

  11. They try to look like they're godly, but denying its power, and from such people turn away.

  12. I thought this was interesting when I read this passage of Scripture because

  13. it is indicative of the time that we're living in right now.

  14. Paul tells us, know this, that in the last days, perilous times will come.

  15. That is harsh, savage, difficult times, very dangerous and painful times,

  16. grievous times, times that are

  17. hard to deal with times that

  18. are perilous these times will come in the passion translation I'm gonna read

  19. it from the passion translation it says but you need to be aware that in the

  20. final days the culture of society will become extremely fierce.

  21. How many of you know that we are living in the last days? The culture of society

  22. will become extremely fierce.

  23. In Matthew chapter 24, turn there with me. Matthew chapter 24.

Matthew 24 chapter mention Matthew 24 chapter mention

  24. Let's look at verse 3.

  25. It says, now as he, Jesus, sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to

  26. him privately, saying, tell us when these things will be.

  27. And what will be the sign of your coming and the end of the age?

  28. Pause right there for a second.

  29. Notice the disciples pulled Jesus aside and had a conversation with him privately,

  30. asking him what will be the sign, what will be the indicators of your coming,

  31. and what would be the end of the age?

  32. Now, I want to talk to you real quick for you Bible scholars.

  33. I'm going to go a little deep here for you. The end of the age is known as dispensation.

  34. Somebody say dispensation.

  35. Dispensation simply means the end of an era or end of a time period. The end of the age.

  36. Now, dispensation also could mean the last days.

  37. The last days. In scripture, there are seven dispensations.

  38. All right. The first one is called the dispensation of innocence.

  39. This time frame was before Adam, then Adam, Eve, and the garden.

  40. The dispensation of innocence.

  41. The second one is the dispensation of conscience.

  42. The dispensation of conscience, this lasted from the garden to the flood.

  43. The third one is the dispensation of human government.

  44. The dispensation of human government, this lasts post-flood to Abraham.

  45. The fourth one is the dispensation of promise.

  46. The dispensation of promise, this lasts from Abraham to Moses.

  47. Then we see the dispensation of law.

  48. The dispensation of law, this lasts from Moses to the cross.

  49. Moses brought the law and at that time they were under the dispensation of the law.

  50. We are under this one. Number six is the dispensation of grace.

  51. The dispensation of grace. This lasts from Pentecost to today.

  52. The dispensation of grace.

  53. People wonder, well, why is God not treating people the same as we see in the

  54. Old Covenant? Well, they were under a different dispensation.

  55. We're under a dispensation of grace to where God is giving you time to repent,

  56. to change, to come to him and transform into his image.

  57. He's giving us the luxury of time to do it, and that is called grace.

  58. We can't earn it. We don't deserve it.

  59. But he's given it to us anyway, the dispensation of grace.

  60. You'll hear a lot of people say in this dispensation of grace,

  61. well, people can get away with anything. I can't believe that person is acting

  62. like that, and they can just simply get away with anything. God needs to do

  63. this, and God needs to do that.

  64. Understand the times that we're in.

  65. We're in this dispensation of grace. He's not going to do that because he has

  66. given you time to repent.

  67. Now, I do need to tell you that at the end of this dispensation is the rapture.

  68. Hallelujah. We're going to get wrapped up right on out of here. Praise the Lord.

  69. And from that, from the rapture, there will be then times of judgment.

  70. So we are in the dispensation of grace, but it will conclude with judgment.

  71. So all of the things that we see that should happen in terms of, hey,

  72. that person keeps sinning, sinning, sinning, sinning, sinning,

  73. and it looks like there's grace, grace, grace, and where sin abound,

  74. grace much more abounds, that will come to an end.

  75. And then there'll be judgment. But thank God we're going to be gone in the rapture.

  76. Now, if you want to stay through the rapture, that's your prerogative.

  77. I'm up on out of here, praise God.

  78. I'm not hanging through the rapture or through the tribulation,

  79. which would be the time of judgment.

  80. And then the seventh dispensation is the millennial reign.

  81. The millennial reign, the thousand year reign. Well, Jesus will come back to the earth.

  82. Let me say this real quick. I don't have time to get into it in today's message,

  83. but there is a difference between the rapture and the second coming.

  84. The rapture is we are going to be raptured, taken out of the earth.

  85. The believers that have confessed Jesus as Lord and Savior will be taken out

  86. of the earth, and then we'll go through judgment, tribulation, etc.

  87. Then Jesus will come back to rule and reign for a thousand years.

  88. We're going to come back with him to rule and reign for a thousand years.

  89. The devil will be bound and there will be a lot of joy, a lot of peace, a lot of celebration.

  90. Right back here on the earth, there'll be a new heaven and a new earth.

  91. That's the dispensation of the millennial reign. But currently we are under

  92. the dispensation of what?

  93. Say it like you mean it. Grace. We're under dispensation of grace.

  94. And the disciples were asking him in verse 3, they said, what will be the sign

  95. of your coming and the end of the dispensation of grace?

  96. The end of this age. And Jesus answered in verse 4, said to them,

  97. take heed that no one deceives you.

  98. I don't know if you know this, but there is a lot of deception going on right now.

  99. Take heed that no one deceives you, for many will come in my name saying,

  100. I am the Christ, and will deceive many.

  101. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. How many of you hear of wars and

  102. rumors of wars right now?

  103. Watch this. See that you are not troubled. I want to pause there for a second.

  104. You're going to hear of things, but I want you to see that you are not troubled by this.

  105. In the end, times are going to be dangerous, painful, perilous,

  106. harsh, fierce times to live in, but see that you're not troubled.

  107. John chapter 14, he tells us, let not your heart be troubled.

    John 14 chapter mention

  108. You're going to see these things, but see that you are not troubled.

  109. For all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

  110. Verse 7, for nation will rise against nation. We hear that right now.

  111. And kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines. There are famines happening right now.

  112. Pestilence, that's happening right now. And earthquakes, that's happening right now in various places.

  113. Look at verse 8. All these things are just the beginning.

  114. It's just the beginning of sorrows.

  115. Just the beginning. We are just at the beginning of all these things taking place.

  116. Verse 9, then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you,

  117. and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake. Notice, pause here.

  118. Some believers, some saints will be delivered up and killed.

  119. Are you ready to die for what you believe in?

  120. Are you ready to be a martyr for what you stand for?

  121. This is a question you have to ask yourself because at the end,

  122. some Christians will be killed, and are you ready to be hated by people?

  123. I've had to grow into this where I, maybe it's with experience or with age or just maturity.

  124. I've had to grow into I really don't care what people think about me.

  125. It took a minute to get there, but I'm there.

  126. I don't care. Now, obviously, I don't want to be rude and condescending and hateful and et cetera.

  127. I'm very compassionate towards, you know, if I've done you wrong and that sort of thing.

  128. But if you don't like me, you just don't like me. And guess what? I don't care.

  129. I don't care. I really don't. I'm not saying that because I'm up for preaching.

  130. I don't. I don't care. And it's time for you to get to that point.

  131. You just say it right now. I don't care if you don't like me.

  132. Say it again. I don't care if you don't like me.

  133. You're going to have to start practicing this because you're about to be hated.

  134. You're a Christian. We hate you. You love Jesus. We hate you.

  135. We don't like you. We don't want to be around you. Are you ready for that?

  136. And I know some of you are dealing with that even now with family members.

  137. When I go to other countries and talk to the Christians there,

  138. once they gave their life to Jesus, they can't even stay in their family.

  139. The family kicks them out.

  140. Literally boosts them out like we don't have anything to do with you because you are a believer.

  141. Are you ready to be hated because you are a believer?

  142. Verse 10, and then many will be offended.

  143. That means they're going to

  144. get mad and they're going to stop following Jesus. Many will be offended.

  145. Many will betray one another, get ready to be stabbed in the back and betrayed.

  146. And many will hate one another.

  147. Now, we're not talking about the world at this point. We're talking about believers hating one another.

  148. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.

  149. And because lawlessness will abound, absolute chaos is going to occur in these

  150. last days at the end of the age.

  151. Lawlessness will abound. The love of many will grow cold. People will stop loving one another.

  152. But, somebody shout, but, say it like you mean it, but, he who endures to the

  153. end, that's me, shall be saved.

  154. Hallelujah. Somebody say, that's me. Now, he who endures means he who has active,

  155. energetic resistance to the end shall be saved.

  156. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness

  157. to all the nations and then the end will come.

  158. The end of the dispensation of grace will come after the gospel of this kingdom

  159. will be preached to all of the world and we're going to go through some things,

  160. in order for the gospel to be preached all over the world.

  161. Get ready, get ready, get ready. I wish I could tell you that everything is going to be all right.

  162. And I wish I could tell you it's going to get tough.

  163. It's going to be hard. We might cry sometime.

  164. We might lose a little hope sometime.

  165. But know this that we have him

  166. and he is in us and he is with us and we have the victory come on somebody say

  167. amen by the fact in john chapter 16 turn there john chapter 16 verse 33 jesus

John 16 chapter mention John 16:33

  168. said these things i've spoken to you he's telling us these things that in me you may have peace.

  169. That's undisturbed composure, glory to God.

  170. That peace there is oneness with Him. In the world, you will have tribulation.

  171. There's going to be stress and pressure and affliction and disturbing things

  172. that take place and remarkable things that could seem to be unbelievable that

  173. takes place. Like, I can't believe that happened.

  174. You're going to experience that, but.

  175. Somebody shout, but. But. I mean, that means just forget what I just said.

  176. Let me give the example one more time of but. If my wife came to me and she's

  177. got a dress on and she says, Devon, do you like this dress?

  178. And I said, that dress looks great. But.

  179. Uh, she ain't heard nothing else besides that. She's waiting for what I'm going to say after the but.

  180. But, you know, it kind of makes you look a little round. Oh,

  181. I ain't wearing that dress no more.

  182. You know, nobody wants to be round. And so she's not going to wear the dress,

  183. even though I said it looked great.

  184. Whatever comes after the but is what she's going to listen to.

  185. Say amen if you know what I'm talking about.

  186. But be of good cheer. Be confident. Be expecting. Be full of rejoicing.

  187. Celebrate. why, I have overcome the world.

  188. You are in him. He is in you. You are an overcomer.

  189. Say amen to that. You are victorious.

  190. Don't let external circumstances dictate your internal condition.

  191. Let me say it again. Don't let external circumstances dictate your internal

  192. condition. You have peace with God.

  193. You have composure. You're undisturbed.

  194. And don't let external circumstances affect your internal condition.

  195. If you know what I'm talking about, say amen.

  196. Now, he says here that we're going to have to rejoice because Jesus has overcome the world.

  197. I am in him and he is in me. So if he's an overcomer, then I'm an overcomer.

  198. And so I have also overcome the world.

  199. First John, I believe, chapter five, verse four says this for those that are

  200. born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.

  201. We're going to have to believe God and we're overcomers. We're Victorians. We're champions.

  202. We are more than conquerors because greater is he that is in me than he that

  203. is in the world. Come on, somebody shout amen.

  204. Now, notice this. We're going to go through difficult times,

  205. but those difficult times are not going to be over us.

  206. We are going to be over it.

  207. We are not underneath the difficulty. We are overcomers. We are going to be above the difficulty.

  208. You're going to be on top of it. You're not going to be the tail.

  209. You're going to be the head.

  210. You're going to be envied by people. Why are you so disturbed and at peace and calm?

  211. And why do you seem to be victorious? Because I'm in him and he's in me.

  212. See, this is why it's important that we share the love of Christ with people.

  213. Because they're going to be going through difficulty.

  214. They're going to be going through a lot of pain and a lot of agony,

  215. but you need to let them know I am in him and he's in me and you can be in him

  216. too and you can be an overcomer as well. Say amen to that.

  217. Amen. And so listen, Romans chapter eight, go there. Romans chapter eight.

  218. Hallelujah. Let me calm down. Y'all getting something today.

  219. Hallelujah. Say I'm an overcomer.

  220. Glory to God. Look at verse 35. Romans 8.35, the Apostle Paul says here,

  221. who shall separate us from the love of Christ?

  222. Shall tribulation? No, we just read we're going to go through a lot of tribulation,

  223. but ain't going to separate us from his love.

  224. Glory to God. Or distress?

  225. Not at all. Or persecution?

  226. God loves you while you're getting persecuted. it or famine or nakedness or

  227. peril or the sword none of that's going to separate us look at verse 36,

  228. As it is written, for your sake we are killed all day long, for we are counted

  229. as sheep for the slaughter. Look at verse 37.

  230. Yet, that's another word for but. Glory to God.

  231. Yet, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

  232. Say this, I am more than a conqueror.

  233. A conqueror is a champion. is victorious. It's someone who breaks barriers and takes territory.

  234. A conqueror is someone who is the one that's on top and going out and getting

  235. things and taking back what the enemy has stolen.

  236. A conqueror is not someone who barely wins.

  237. A conqueror is someone who dominates and defeats and destroys the opposition.

  238. The scripture says you are more than a conqueror. Say I'm more than a conqueror.

  239. Who knows what I'm talking about today?

  240. You will win decisively.

  241. Woo, glory to God. Decisive victory. Not just barely getting by.

  242. You're gonna be known as that. Don't mess with Devon.

  243. He gonna win decisively. Glory to God. Hallelujah.

  244. You are a champion, and you are more than a conqueror.

  245. I've had the privilege of talking to several champions. I might bring them on

  246. midweek booths if I can get them to come on.

  247. But they are UFC fighters. They held belts, and they're retired now,

  248. but they've been champions of their division.

  249. And I've had a chance to talk to them, and I've asked them about being a champion.

  250. And they've said to me that being the champion means I went and I took what someone else possessed,

  251. and I took it away from them and I took it and I conquered them and now I am

  252. at the top of the hill and now because I'm at the top of the hill others are

  253. going to try to come take what I possess but I'm not going to let them take it.

  254. Amen. You got to have the attitude I'm not going to let that thief come take what belongs to me.

  255. That thief is not going to have it. I'm going to keep my joy.

  256. I'm going to keep my peace. I'm going to keep my patience. I'm going to be kind. I'm going to prosper.

  257. I'm going to keep my health. You can't have my health. You can't take my money.

  258. I'm keeping it all because I'm more than a conqueror. Somebody say amen.

  259. I'm preaching better than you shouting up in here today. You got to get a hold

  260. of it and say I'm I'm not going to let him have it.

  261. He's not going to take it away from me because I'm more than a conqueror.

  262. See, a thief can't come try to steal my Lamborghini.

  263. You know why? Because I don't have one.

  264. So he can come to my house. Ain't no Lamborghini here, right?

  265. No, no, no. He's coming to get something you already possess.

  266. So you already are more than a conqueror and a thief coming to take it.

  267. If I could just take it away from you, if I could just get you with some external

  268. things that affect your internal capacity to believe God, then I've already taken it from you.

  269. If I can steal your joy, I've already taken it from you.

  270. A friend of mine reached out to me this week. This is a silly example,

  271. but I'm going to tell it anyway. He reached out to me this week,

  272. and someone asked him to borrow $100.

  273. And so he loaned $100. He said it wasn't much, just $100.

  274. I loaned it to him, but he said he'll pay me back Wednesday.

  275. And he hit me up on late Thursday. He said, hey, what should I do here?

  276. I said, well, this is a tough question.

  277. I said, you need to ask yourself, hey, is this a family member?

  278. Is this a friend? Who is this person you loaned to? He said,

  279. it's someone I didn't work for. I'm like, okay.

  280. So he provided some work, and that person asked for $100.

  281. I said, okay. All right, so here's what you do.

  282. You need to reach out to him. He said, hey, brother, you know,

  283. sister, it's past that due date.

  284. You know, I'm looking for that $100. And so he said, I'm going to reach out

  285. to him. And he reached out to him, and the guy didn't respond.

  286. And then he didn't respond. And the Lord said, tell him this.

  287. I said, don't let that $100 steal your joy.

  288. Don't let it steal your joy. And footnote, only be willing to loan what you're willing to give.

  289. So you have your own threshold. Am I willing to give this away?

  290. Then I'll loan it. But if you're not willing to give it, don't loan it, okay?

  291. And factor in, I'm talking to mature people today, right? Factor in,

  292. folks may not pay you back.

  293. Just factor it in so you don't get your joy stolen. You ain't going to knock

  294. on nobody's door, trying to see them at Chick-fil-A. What are you doing?

  295. I need my hundred dollars.

  296. Just, you know what? Just walk up to them and say, you know. You know.

  297. You know. Okay? Don't let it steal your joy, okay?

  298. I told this guy, I said, don't let it steal your joy today, man.

  299. And listen, keep your joy because the enemy is after your joy for $100.

  300. If he can get you in joy and get you fighting and acting crazy and now,

  301. you know, now you're sad all day long and you're upset all day and now all of

  302. a sudden you can't sleep at night and now you're taking it personally and et cetera,

  303. he has effectively stolen your joy.

  304. If he steals your joy, he can keep your goods. But don't let him steal your

  305. joy. Amen. Somebody shout amen.

  306. So you are more than a conqueror. Say, I'm more than a conqueror.

  307. Say it again. I'm more than a conqueror.

  308. How do you see yourself? As a champion or a loser?

  309. It's a question only you can answer. How do you see yourself?

  310. Do you see yourself as more than a conqueror? Or do you see yourself a loser?

  311. Do you see yourself as someone that's going to break barriers and take territory?

  312. Or do you see yourself as someone that always gets run over,

  313. always gets trampled, always gets taken full advantage of?

  314. How do you see yourself? In the last days, you and I are going to have to see

  315. ourselves as loved by God and more than conquerors.

  316. Whatever we go through, whatever comes our way, whatever hindrance,

  317. whatever obstacle, challenge that comes our way, we're going to have to see

  318. ourselves as more than a conqueror.

  319. You're going to have to see yourself as more than you think you are. Not because of you.

  320. Not because you look so good. Not because you dress so well.

  321. No, because he lives in you. and he's made you more than a conqueror.

  322. And so it's not pride, it's confidence.

  323. And what is the difference? Well,

  324. what's the difference? Pride is you're confident in your own ability.

  325. Confidence is I'm confident in his ability. And so he made you more,

  326. not just a conqueror, above and beyond superior.

  327. Any adversary that comes your way is no match for you.

  328. Matter of fact, and I believe it's 1 Corinthians 10, 13, I love it.

  329. He said, there's no temptation. That word temptation is test.

  330. There's no temptation that comes upon you that you are not able to overcome

  331. because God is faithful.

  332. That if it comes to you, that really means that you can get through it or God

  333. would not have ever allowed it to come your way.

  334. Somebody say amen to that.

  335. You, anything you go through, you can get through because you're more than a conqueror.

  336. Anything that comes your way, you just say, you know what? We can get through this.

  337. It may hurt. It may be painful. It may catch you off guard. But realize I can

  338. get through this because God would have never had it happen because I am more

  339. than a conqueror. I'm an overcomer.

  340. I'm a champion. And you need to start seeing yourself that way. Say, I'm a champion.

  341. Yeah. See yourself like that. Say, I got the belt.

  342. Yeah see yourself with the belt amen nobody

  343. listen when you got the belt everybody's gonna

  344. be envious of you and they're gonna want to take it and say no no no no no

  345. i'm the champion amen glory to

  346. god but you have to see yourself go to numbers 13

  347. you gotta see yourself as the champion and look at verse 27 numbers 13 27 this

  348. passage is about the spas from israel going into the land to scout out the land

  349. to see what they were coming against.

  350. Moses sent spies to see in the land that they were going to possess to take over.

  351. Verse 27, then they told him, they returned, and they said, we went to the land where you sent us.

  352. It truly flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit, large fruit in the land.

  353. Nevertheless, the people who dwell in the land are strong.

  354. The cities are fortified and very large. Moreover, we saw the descendants of Anak there.

  355. The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south.

  356. The Hittites, the Jebusites, the Amorites dwell in the mountains.

  357. And the Canaanites dwell by the sea and along the banks of the Jordan.

  358. Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses. Hush, shh, hush, hush that fuck.

  359. Let's go up at once and take possession for we are, for we are well able to overcome it.

  360. We're well able to overcome it. Now look at the next verse, the very next verse.

  361. And they gave the, well, no, no, go back to 31.

  362. Numbers 13, 31. Then Caleb cried to people, that's 30. Where's my 31 in there?

  363. All right, let's take a look here. I'll go to my Bible. Hallelujah.

  364. Glory to God. Numbers 13. Here we go.

  365. And 31. But the men who had gone up with him, now they were with Caleb,

  366. said, we are not able to go up against the people for they are stronger than we.

  367. Now, the same men that went up with him said, we are not able.

  368. These folks was hanging with Joshua and Caleb.

  369. Joshua and Caleb said, we're well able. Same folks. We are not able because

  370. they are stronger than us.

  371. Interesting. Look at verse 32. And they gave the children of Israel a bad report

  372. of the land, which they had spied out, saying,

  373. the land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants.

  374. And all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature.

  375. They gave them a bad report.

  376. 33. There we saw the giants, the descendants of Anak came from the giants. And watch this.

  377. And we were like grasshoppers in our own sight.

  378. And so we were in their sight.

  379. Now notice, one man says, we're well able to possess, to conquer,

  380. to take over, to break barriers, to possess it. We are more than well able.

  381. 10 other people, because there were 12 spies, said, we're not able.

  382. We're weak. They're strong.

  383. We can't do it. And then they said something I thought was very critical.

  384. They start looking at the exterior.

  385. They started looking at their five physical senses.

  386. Follow me. They started looking at what they could see, touch, taste, hear, and smell.

  387. They started observing and they said, we are not able.

  388. And then they made this bold statement. We can't do it, guys.

  389. These guys are big. We can't do it.

  390. This is after Caleb hushed the fuss.

  391. They came back with this nonsense.

  392. And they said, we are like grasshoppers.

  393. So how did they see themselves? Like grasshoppers.

  394. And then they made another bold statement. And we're like grasshoppers in their sight, too.

  395. Now, how do they know that?

  396. They're spying out the land. They didn't walk up to somebody,

  397. hey, man, what y'all think about me? What you think about me?

  398. Oh, you think I'm a grasshopper? Yeah, I'm a grasshopper.

  399. None of that took place. They assumed that these people viewed them as grasshoppers.

  400. Why did they assume that? because they viewed themselves as grasshoppers.

  401. Stop viewing yourself as something low, little, insignificant,

  402. unimportant, and somebody that cannot make a difference.

  403. And start viewing yourself as a champion, an overcomer, more than a conqueror.

  404. Greater is he that's in you than he that's in the world. Why not you?

  405. Start asking the question, why not me? Well, so-and-so just got blessed with

  406. that. Your next question should be, why not me?

  407. I'm next. If they can get blessed with that, I can too. Glory to God. Amen.

  408. You're more than a conqueror. Yes, you didn't earn it.

  409. You don't deserve it. But it's God's grace and his favor to give it to you.

  410. It is his good pleasure to give you the kingdom. them.

  411. Stop viewing yourself as a grasshopper. You're not a grasshopper.

  412. You are more than a conqueror. Hallelujah.

  413. Glory to God. Glory to God. I'm not a grasshopper.

  414. Say that. Yeah. I'm not a grasshopper.

  415. Say it like you mean it. I'm not a grasshopper. You got to say it like you mean.

  416. You got to hear yourself say it.

  417. You got to hear your frame of thinking needs to hear your mouth say, I'm not a grasshopper.

  418. Some of y'all still ain't saying it. I'm not a grasshopper.

  419. This is how you change your wiring of your self-image.

  420. Your mind has to stop to listen to the words that are coming out of your mouth

  421. to hear what you're saying to change and rearrange the image that has been created

  422. in your life. Say, I'm not a grasshopper.

  423. What your mind now is saying, well, wait a minute.

  424. I'm not a grasshopper. We're not grasshoppers. I saw a grasshopper this morning,

  425. a little old grasshopper.

  426. It was sitting outside over there. I said, I'm not a grasshopper because I knew

  427. I was preaching this tonight. That's not me.

  428. I'm not a grasshopper. I'm more than a conqueror. And if I wanted to,

  429. I could have stomped that grasshopper because I'm more than a conqueror.

  430. Say I'm more than a conqueror.

  431. Say I'm strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.

  432. Greater is he that's in me than he that's in the world.

  433. Everything I have comes from him.

  434. Say it like you mean it. Amen. I'm not a grasshopper.

  435. And these people thought they were grasshoppers in their own sight and assumed

  436. they were grasshoppers in other people's sight.

  437. There are people that are looking at you like major champions.

  438. And you're looking at yourself like a grasshopper. There are people,

  439. there was this one particular time, I'll give you this example.

  440. I had gotten really sick.

  441. This was several, was about a decade ago now. I was losing a pound a day.

  442. I don't, we don't know. I was going back to the doctor. Doctors couldn't figure

  443. out what was going on with me.

  444. And I'm like, okay, I'm, I'm believing God. What is going on?

  445. We fighting. I'm fighting. I'm believing God, standing on his word.

  446. I'm laying down. I'm taking medicine. I'm doing everything I know to do in the

  447. natural, but I'm believing God.

  448. And I said, man, I'm going to defeat this thing. I'm more than a conqueror. I'm an overcomer.

  449. And I'm fighting, and I'm fighting, and I'm fighting, and I'm fighting.

  450. And at one point, the devil said, if you were to die, wouldn't nobody care?

  451. You heard that before, too. Nobody would miss you.

  452. If you were to leave, nobody would care. You know, hey, you got stuff set up

  453. for your family. If something were to happen to you, they'll be fine. Nobody would care.

  454. And I had a guy reach out to me. He had found out that I was really sick.

  455. And this guy is, I'm only saying this for the story. It doesn't matter,

  456. but I'm saying this for the story.

  457. This guy's a multimillionaire, owns a lot of property, land, businesses.

  458. He reached out to me and said, I heard you were sick. And I told him,

  459. yeah, you know, I'm getting strong and this, that, and the third.

  460. And then I overcame it and he reached back out to me. No, let me,

  461. sorry, that's not true He reached back out to me Because he had heard I was

  462. sick And at that point I had already overcame And he said, man,

  463. I heard you were sick What happened?

  464. I told him the story He said, if you would have died,

  465. He said, I don't know where my faith would have been if you would have died.

  466. This man's a big time Christian, multimillionaire, the kingdoms man.

  467. He's saying my faith would have been shook if you would have died.

  468. That tells me that other people see you greater than you see yourself.

  469. I couldn't just live for me and my family. That would have been fine.

  470. I was living now for this man's faith to rest, to continue to rest in the word, that the word is true.

  471. Amen. And I thought, oh, my gosh, I wasn't just fighting for me.

  472. I'm fighting for other people, too, to see that God can deliver you and rescue

  473. you and save you. And so are you.

  474. You're not just going to work and nobody and thinking nobody's paying attention

  475. to. You're not just walking around.

  476. People are watching you and they're thinking more highly of you than you're thinking of yourself.

  477. You just got to convince yourself what the word says. You are more than a conqueror.

  478. You break barriers and you take territory.

  479. Let me prophesy this over you. There are no limits to what God can do through

  480. you. take the limits off.

  481. Take the limits off. Take them off of your mind because God can get anything

  482. to you from anyone, anywhere, at any time. Hallelujah.

  483. Do you receive that? This is how you experience true life.
