Do you know the Bible is God's Holy Word? Do
-
you know it is inspired, in errant, and infallible? If so, like, share,
-
subscribe and support this podcast. So we are Maranatha Ministries
-
and now Redemption Draweth Nige. Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, Welcome
-
to the program. We are your host, Jose and Matthew.
-
Tonight we're settling in for the procal Part three, so
-
I will appropriately hand it over to Jose. Jose, you
-
got the mic.
-
All right, Matthew. So this is our third installment here
-
of the Prodigal Son. Been trying to focus on what
-
I don't know. I don't know how how to explain it,
-
but more of the mindset, Matthew, of this individual, what
-
he was going through, what strings were pulling on him,
-
and eventually when he came to his senses, he came
-
to himself, he remembered the way in which he was
-
brought up, and he sought to return to the Father.
-
So we can all, we can all use this parable,
-
Matthew to to to learn something about our own journey,
-
our own process in coming to the Father and understanding
-
that we need to follow his commandments and all the
-
blessings that come from doing that and all the curses
-
that happened to us, and we don't, Matthew. And and
-
I think that was important to stress because we all,
-
we all, whether it's ourselves, Matthew, or whether we know
-
people that are this prodigal son. And I mean, you know,
-
they're in our prayers daily. We encounter them every day.
-
You know, you're you're at work and you talk to somebody, Oh,
-
I used to go to church, but not anymore because
-
this that or the other, right, And eventually it, you know,
-
it comes down that that they prefer their sin to
-
following the commandments of the Father, following the beattitudes that
-
the Son laid out to us in the gospels. Matthew,
-
that's the root of it, all right. But you know
-
they they have all these other excuses for why why
-
they have they have stepped away. So but Matthew, you
-
just can't avoid speaking prophetically about this this about any
-
any chapter in the Bible, but let alone this parable
-
And so that's the point where I'm at right now
-
in this study of Matthew, where one particular word that
-
I want to address that's going to lead us prophetically
-
what God was talking about here in the parable of
-
the Prodigal Son. So if you want to add something
-
before we jump in.
-
Now, I'm I'm pretty I'm pretty okay with what you've
-
said so far, and I appreciate that you're boiling down
-
this installment to single word. I think that's a pretty
-
amazing thing in and of itself, so please continue.
-
Yeah, So the particular word that I'm looking at, Matthew
-
is in verse twenty, and I'll read that verse for
-
us that says, let me jump let me pull up
-
the new King James here so I can do it
-
right now. This is G four It's listed is G
-
four fifty in the strongs, Matthew. But when you look
-
at that particular spelling, you're going to see that it's
-
not really that Greek word that's listening strongs, which you know,
-
of course is it's disturbing when you see that, Matthew.
-
But that's that's what they've done. So if you look
-
into a strong so it'll say G four fifty and
-
it's DEMI to stand up. But let me read this
-
verse for you before we get into the actual Greek
-
word that's that's listed there. So it's in verse twenty fifteen,
-
verse twenty, and he arose and came to his father.
-
But when he was still a great way off, his
-
father saw him and had compassion and ran and fell
-
on his neck and kissed him. So, Matthew, that Greek
-
spelling is not does not match the strongs. From what
-
I see. It's a it's a particular Greek spelling, and
-
what we'll look we'll find where it's where it's used
-
in other verses in the Bible, and three verses in
-
particularly that I'm looking at. But when we read this verse, Matthew,
-
we consider who the father is. We consider that he
-
had compassion on this person and essentially forgiven him for
-
what he's done, and that particular phraseology that he fell
-
on his neck and kissed him. Boy, Matthew, if you
-
haven't read, if you if this doesn't bring remembrances to
-
to you, Matthew, we're way late in the game for
-
that right now. So that's that's the word that I'm
-
looking at G. Four fifty as this li in the strongs.
-
But what we can get into you know what the
-
actual strong number is and all that one as we continue.
-
But anything in particular you want to say about that
-
verse Matthew.
-
I absolutely agree with you. When you understand on the surface,
-
what's what's going on here? He arose and that is
-
a well, that's a people that don't take the time
-
to get their hands into what the Greek is saying
-
is where they're they're very short sighted. They can't see
-
very far with what God is actually doing with these words.
-
So I absolutely agree with you that this is pretty
-
pretty uh prophetic, this this verse, just in just this
-
standalone verse, just the standalone verse, because it's it's it's
-
really saying something else, So I appreciate it. So, yeah,
-
I'm not gonna I'm not gonna steal your fire there,
-
but yeah, that's that's a pretty prophetic verse all in itself.
-
What's actually being said in Greek?
-
Correct? Correct. So, Matthew, when I started looking up the
-
Greek of this of this word, of course it shows
-
up in a lot of verses, but there was three
-
particular verses that I keep in on that that I
-
want to focus on for the study. The first and
-
we'll just go right to it. We'll just go right
-
to the to the Big Banger Revelation twenty verse five,
-
and I'll read the verse for us. But the rest
-
of the dead did not live again until the thousand
-
years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Now, that
-
word resurrection, Matthew, is G three eighty six, and it's
-
pretty much the exact same spelling except for a suffix
-
there at the end, anastasius, right anastasis, which which we
-
should all know that that word is resurrection. And when
-
we look back in Luke fifteen at that word for
-
a Rose's I believe it's anastas So it's missing the
-
suffix on there. But to me, Matthew, it's the same
-
spelling as what we see here in Revelation twenty, verse five.
-
So when you see the when you see the father's
-
reaction to what's going on, Matthew, you understand the immensity
-
of what he's saying, of what he's doing when he
-
sees his son literally raised from the dead and come
-
back to him, Matthew, and we think about prophetically what
-
that means him in Revelation verse twenty, and the reason
-
that these individuals are part of the First Resurrection because
-
they had to lose their head, Matthew for following the
-
ten Commandments and following the beatitudes during the reign of
-
the beast and his false prophet, Matthew. So, I mean,
-
I don't know. I know, those are those individuals that
-
have been following this ministry. There should be no surprise
-
to us. But you know, if this is your first
-
time hearing it may be it may be a lot
-
to take in. But you know, I can't help but match, Matthew.
-
What the Parable of the Prodigal Son says about these
-
individuals that are part of the First Resurrection and what they're,
-
what they're what they're going to have to do? What
-
what what? What their blessing is for returning to the Father,
-
for sticking to the commandments and the beatitude, Matthew, and
-
and you know what they had to endure to do that.
-
So that's that's the that's the key focus for me, Matthew.
-
When when I'm looking at this word here, you.
-
Know we have to agree if you keep reading. I
-
mean we we haven't read it in this session, but
-
when you read this whole parable, well that's exactly what
-
is stated. I mean, this isn't behind the scene. His
-
dad is acting like this son was dead and has
-
been brought back to life. That's exactly what I mean.
-
Verse thirty two. It was right that we should make
-
marry and be glad for your brother was what he
-
was neck cross. He was dead and is alive again,
-
and what was lost is found. So so literally, the
-
prodigal son is being prophetic in verse twenty and it's
-
and it's almost like he knows that right now, I'm
-
as good as dead. So I mean, it's not the Greek.
-
Here's not beaten around the bush. The father does come
-
right out and say that. He comes right out and
-
says it, and he makes it perfect clear that there is.
-
This this situation between the brother that is alive right
-
right and the brother that is lost or dead.
-
There is this well there's there's this interaction between them
-
that they're not they're not on equal footing, are they. No,
-
this is a harbinger for the chapter you just read
-
out of Revelation, chapter Coin, because these things will really happen.
-
These things are really going to happen. And this is
-
what got a lot of people, well, how much should
-
I say, Maybe I should just hand it back to
-
you whose.
-
Well, Matthew, I want to ken on what the Sun
-
says in verse twenty one and Luke fifteen, he says,
-
I have sinned against heaven and in thy and am
-
no more worthy to be called thy son. So this
-
is someone Matthew who is I mean, you have true
-
repentance here, true understanding of how far he's falling and
-
what he needs to do to where he's telling the father,
-
I will be your servant. I'm not worthy to be
-
your son. I will be your servant. I will do
-
whatever the servants do. But please, I need to please
-
accept me back into your house. Please accept me back
-
into the kingdom.
-
I am sorry, I can't help myself. Okay, that's exactly
-
what you read about. Revelation chapter twenty. I'm sorry man.
-
Amen, Amen, Okay.
-
I'm sorry, but that's literally I'm sorry, Jose. I shouldn't
-
have interrupted you. But ladies and gentlemen, I just yeah,
-
I need to keep my mouth shut. This is this
-
is your show. Hose back to you.
-
Well, let me just read here. Let me go over
-
to Revelation chapter twelve, which is the individuals that we're
-
talking about, and it says, you know, in verse seventeen,
-
the dragon was enraged with the woman and they went
-
to make war with the rest of her offspring, who
-
keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of
-
Jesus Christ. And these are the ones in chapter thirteen,
-
Matthew that have to stand in front of the false
-
prophet and be forced to worship the beast or the
-
image of the beast, And of course they don't do that,
-
and as a result they lose their heads. They're beheaded
-
for that, and that's how they are a part of
-
the First Resurrection, Matthew.
-
So that's right.
-
Well, you know that's directly correlating to this parable Hoseac.
-
Can I ask you something? Yes, okay, I'm going to
-
be very pointed with you, so let me make sure
-
I have permission to do so. Can I ask you
-
very pointed personal question? Yes, he loved your grandfather, right?
-
Yes?
-
Has he or has he not entered his rest?
-
Yes? He has?
-
Okay, So Jose, let's be very clear. You will see him.
-
You will see him at the First Resurrection. Amen.
-
Amen.
-
But Jose, Jose, he's not going to be a part
-
of this group, right, No, but Jose, I am going
-
to see my mother that day.
-
Amen.
-
So you need to understand, ladies and gentlemen, what the
-
scripture is talking about. Okay, everybody is coming to the
-
first resident direction that are asleep in Jesus. So your
-
grandmother if she was a Christian, okay, you're great great
-
great great great grandpa if he was a Christian. But
-
Revelation chapter twenty is very clear as in as in
-
Luke chapter fifteen, and it is almost like that's why
-
this is this is being written because you need to
-
make sure that you understand my mother and Jose's grandpa
-
is not is not going to be doing what those
-
people do. So you need to understand that Luke chapter
-
fifteen is trying to I tell you that the biggest
-
group are the group that is stayed with the Father.
-
But this group is something different and they have a job.
-
It is they who will rule and reign with Christ Amen,
-
Jose Amen Matthew. Revelation chapter twenty explicitly says that, so
-
you can see from this parable, ladies and gentlemen, that
-
those who are sleep in Jesus right now before this
-
tribulatory time, they are the first son that always stayed
-
with the Father. They lived as Christians, they died even
-
as Jose's grandpa died and entered their rest in Jesus.
-
But this second group danced with the devil, so to speak.
-
So this this creates a huge well, it creates a
-
huge conundrum for most ministries, that's for sure, because if
-
you don't have all the answers, you create confusion because,
-
believe me, knowing the timing of the rapture is not enough.
-
It's not enough because many people have stumbled and fell
-
right where Jose is in Revelation chapter twenty. Because many
-
people will tell you, well, yeah, bloody dottie, everybody is
-
part of the First Resurrection and we all get to
-
rule and reign with Christ. No, no, that's not what
-
Revelation chapter twenty says. Revelation chapter twenty. Never stay that
-
those who are sleeping Jesus were ruling when with Christ
-
only this group does that is resurrected from having been
-
behaded by the beast. So I'll just stop that right there,
-
because many of you are just waking up to the
-
simple fact. Oh my goodness, you mean that's why Jesus
-
told this parable Well, yeah, and if you look at
-
the Greek you can see that that that's why he's
-
doing it. He's letting you know that there's a big differentiation. Now,
-
no one understands this, that yes, ruling and reigning with
-
Jesus is going to be a really good job, right Jose, yep.
-
But you basically got choice. Do you want to do
-
that or do you want to be on vacation for
-
a thousand years? Which one do you want? Because I
-
assure you if you think, ladies and gentlemen, that the
-
bride of Christ is going to have a job and
-
she's going to have duties and the millennial reign with
-
her husband, you don't know what you're saying. I can
-
only give you the answer that Jesus gave to the
-
sons of Thunder. You don't know what you're saying. You
-
don't know what you're asking. What Jesus was saying to
-
them is those that are at my right and at
-
my left in my kingdom and my glory, that is
-
those of the First Resurrection. There's only one way to
-
do that. You have to face the beast, correct, Hose Correct?
-
Grandfather faced the beast. No, sir, would you have wanted
-
him to do that? Jose?
-
No?
-
No, do you think I would have wanted my mother
-
to do it? Of course not. So understand, ladies and gentlemen,
-
that this parable is about prophecy. It is, and if
-
you didn't understand what it was saying, Well, you got
-
lost like most other ministries do in Revelation chapter twenty.
-
Because Revelation chapter twenty is the dividing line between most ministries.
-
How you address Revelation chapter twenty either makes you a
-
dispensationalist or a preyerist. It's it's one of the others. Jose,
-
sorry for that long dive, tried back to you.
-
Sure, no, that's that's that's important to put in a perspective.
-
I just want to put one more caveat to connecting
-
that connecting the doctor to these two chapters. Matthew, if
-
we read verse twenty two of Luke fifteen, it says
-
the father said to his servants, bring forth the best
-
robe and put it on him, and put a ring
-
on his hand, and choes on his feet. And the
-
corresponding verse in Revelation twenty is verse six, where it's said,
-
blessed and holy is he who has part in the
-
first resurrection over such the second death has no power,
-
but they shall be peasts of God and of Christ,
-
and shall reign with him a thousand years. So, Matthew,
-
I see those parallels there, because even though this son
-
was dead, his father is obviously has a greater role
-
than just a normal servant, whether he you know, he
-
joins the servants or the father accepts him as the son.
-
You know, we're not told the what happens after this parable, Matthew,
-
but we're told in Revelation chapter twenty what happened to
-
those that are part of the First Resurrection, the court,
-
the corresponding individual from this parable. They are blessed, they
-
are given the best robe, and now they have a
-
job to do, Matthew, and they're gonna do that with
-
Christ and they're gonna rule and reign with them for
-
a thousand years. But like you said, they have a
-
job to do, and they're gonna do that because they
-
forfeited their inheritance or they took their inheritance early like
-
this son did. And so as a result, they're not
-
they're not the bride, Matthew, like you've explained. And I think,
-
like you said, this is a big hang up for
-
a lot of Christians because you read different chapters of
-
the Bible and some say that, well, this group of
-
Christians is going to rule and reign, this group of
-
Christians is going to be a priest. You know, this
-
group of Christians is the bride of Christ. You know,
-
what does that mean? It's a bride? We have a
-
job to do. You know, you have all these questions,
-
But I think this parable is a great example by
-
showing the two sons and their relation to the father, Matthew,
-
of these two different types of Christians. Well, you have
-
the woman on one hand, who's going to enter her rest,
-
and then you have the rest of her children who
-
are going to have a job to do for those
-
thousand years. And you know this, uh, this parable, to
-
me is a great way to explain that to us, Matthew,
-
of what God's plan is. Because this father and this
-
parable obviously loves both of his sons, and he's obviously
-
did not want to discard the other one just because
-
he's you know, been in his sin and been worldly
-
and and you know, cobarding with Harlot's like like the
-
other brother accused him of. He wants him back. But
-
things have changed now that he did all those things right,
-
things have changed, and so you know, he's he has
-
a different job to do than the other son, Matthew.
-
The father makes that pretty clear in this parable.
-
Well, and everybody should should understand this ladies and gentlemen,
-
that this parable never states that that the faithful brother
-
has his inheritance divided in half and half given to
-
his prodigal brother. I'm sorry to shock you. Yeah, you
-
need to know and understand. This parable is saying that
-
the prodigal son his inheritance is spent. It's done. He
-
is no longer the inheritor of the estate. This parable
-
never says that his half that he's spent is ever
-
restored to him, does it. No, Yes, he's daddled over.
-
Yes he's brought back into the kingdom, but his inheritance
-
was already spent. So that's a pretty interesting aspect to
-
look at there. So it's amazing, Jose that a lot
-
of people they don't know these things because they don't
-
know to ask the question to do that, right. And
-
that's what a really good teacher is, Jose. A good
-
teacher is a teacher that knows which questions to ask.
-
And if you've never been a part of a Bible
-
study or a sermon where the person that was giving
-
the lesson, okay, because that's what this is, it's a
-
Bible lesson. I know that this new fancy generation tries
-
to call it a teaching, it's not. It's a Bible lesson.
-
We do Bible lessons here. You will never hear us
-
cover something that's not in the Bible. We are Biblicists,
-
that's what we are. So if you've never had anyone
-
in that situation that was presenting to you a Bible
-
lesson and they never pointed that out, thata hey, during
-
the rapture, everyone that died in Christ they get risen
-
up right, Yeah, well, where's that group in Revelation chapter
-
twenty because it never mentions them. It only mentions those
-
that danced with the devil and lost. Because you need
-
to read the chapter before it, because you need to
-
understand this. The Bible is very clear that as soon
-
as the Lord Jesus Christ enters our upper atmosphere at
-
that very second, is when the marriage supper of the
-
Lamb happens. Wig it, Yes it does. Do We need
-
to go to Revelation chapter nineteen and read it. I
-
don't know why all of your psyches have rejected it,
-
but the marriage supper of the Lamb happens first before
-
he wipes everybody out. Yes it is, and there, okay, there,
-
plain as day. You can go read it if you
-
want to. Revelation chapter nineteen, verse fourteen that says when
-
Foy's grand Paul gets his anastasis anatomy, I don't think
-
I know. I don't rely on the creeds or knachisms
-
of men. I don't know what the Bible says. So
-
maybe I'll just stop right there, because I'm probably giving
-
information overload at this point. I need to let Jose
-
take us back to the Prodigal Sun in Luke chapter fifteen.
-
Jose, Yeah, Matthew, just to add on there a little
-
bit more of what you were saying. You know, before
-
joining this ministry, if you would have asked me, you
-
know what I thought about about being this group here
-
that gets to rule and reign with Christ. If you
-
would have asked me, do you want to be a
-
part of this group that rules and reigns with Christ?
-
Or be a part of the bride? Honestly, what it
-
would I would have confused me, I said, I would
-
have thought, there's the same group, you know, because you
-
don't realize what it means to the for these individuals
-
to take on that role, how far they had to
-
fall actually to the depths of shield before they're resurrected, uh,
-
you know, and and then ruling and reigning with Christ.
-
Right.
-
I don't think a lot of Christians, Matthew, understand what
-
they're saying when they say that they're that they're going
-
to be a part of this group, that they're going
-
to be the part that our priests and get to
-
reign with Christ for a thousand years. So it's real
-
important that we pull these apart and and and and
-
and study it. You know, it's in there plainly for us, Matthew.
-
But again, you get so many different teachers and so
-
many different denominations that we get into that twist the
-
word and and you know, the normal parishioner gets lost.
-
So I'm really glad that that we're investigating this for
-
for everyone.
-
So you're saying the same thing I referenced earlier. Not
-
James and John confused.
-
About it, Amen.
-
More importantly, their mother was confused about it. Amen.
-
Amen.
-
And you know I'm trying to hesitate, Jose, but now
-
you're pushing the envelope. Ladies and gentlemen, I'm not gonna
-
leave you confused, Okay, So you need to hearken to
-
my voice and right now, and I need dead bang.
-
Right now, you need to get something to write with
-
and something to write on, because I'm gonna lay it
-
out to you, crystal clear. I'm going to prove to
-
you that I don't need no catechism, I don't need
-
no I don't need no creeds. I need the Bible,
-
God's Holy Word inspired, in errant and infallible. Oh my goodness.
-
They hate that. They hate it. But right now, you're
-
right where James and John and their mother was. You're
-
right there. You don't realize there's there's two different groups. Okay,
-
So we are going to go and lay it out
-
for you because it is not hard, it is not difficult.
-
I need you to write these things down as I
-
say them, Okay, it's important that you do so. First
-
Thessalonians chapter four, verses thirteen through eighteen. Now before I
-
read it, write this downright, those who sleep in Jesus.
-
Then go down another line and write this the dead
-
in Christ. This passage is plainly going to relate to
-
you that those things are quite simply the fact of
-
the matter. That's how it is. So I'm not going
-
to talk about the Greek. I'm not gonna, you know,
-
give you information overload, because I understand where you're at,
-
because Jose admitted it just minutes ago. Jose admitted that
-
he was right where you were at. He was right
-
there is right where you were at, right where everybody
-
else is at. But now you've got it written down.
-
You've got first Thessalonians four thirteen through eighteen written down,
-
and you've got the two key phrases, those who sleep
-
in Jesus and the dead in Christ. Those are two
-
different groups. And believe me, in the Greek those are
-
completely different phrases. Do you have asleep and dead and
-
then you have Jesus's proper name and Christ, two completely
-
different groups. This is how it happens, and I will
-
lay it out to you. But I do not want
-
you to be ignorant, brethren concerning those who have fallen asleep,
-
lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For
-
if we believe that Jesus died and rosea again, even
-
so God will bring with him those who are asleep
-
in Jesus. That's the first group they will return with
-
Jesus Verse fifteen. For this we say to you by
-
the word of the Lord, that we who are alive
-
and remain until the coming of the Lord, will by
-
no means precede those who are asleep, for the Lord
-
himself will descend with Heaven with a shout, with the
-
voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God,
-
and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we
-
who are alive and remain will be caught up together
-
with them in the clouds to meet the Lord, the Heir.
-
And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore,
-
comfort one another with these words. Okay, hearken to my voice.
-
When is my mother and pose's grandpa going to get back?
-
Revelation Chapter nineteen, verse fourteen, and the armies of Heaven,
-
gold and fine, living, white and clean followed him on whyrses.
-
I'm gonna read it again. This verse is telling you
-
that those the other group, those who are asleep in Jesus,
-
because there is a terminus between these two groups. Now
-
write this down exactly as I say it. The terminus
-
between those who sleep in Jesus and the dead in
-
Christ is the great Day of the Lord known as
-
the six Seal Event. So let's do what I said.
-
Go back to that verse you read. I can't remember.
-
This is those who sleep in Jesus. Verse fourteen was
-
very clear. It says, for we believe that Jesus died
-
and rose again. Even so God will bring with him
-
those who sleep in Jesus Revelation, Chapter nineteen, verse fourteen.
-
And the armies of Heaven, clothed and fine linen, white
-
and clean, followed him on white horses. Once you know
-
these things, you understand that there's a terminus. It is
-
the start of the tribulation. Once the tribulation starts, something
-
must happen, because it creates a terminus between these two groups.
-
Because we who are alive and remain, something has to
-
happen to us. We have to go someplace where he
-
can't die. God calls this place his barn. Yes he does.
-
I'm not lying to you. God calls this place his barn.
-
He calls the place that are kicked out of this place.
-
He says, they're kicked down into the outer darkness, doesn't
-
he jose? Yes, Yes he does, Yes he does. What
-
this means is, ladies and gentlemen, write this down. It's
-
not a rapture, it's a great gathering. That's what happens
-
to those who are alive and remain. They are gathered
-
to a place. That great gathering is told to you
-
in great detail in Revelation chapter seven. The Greek says
-
that God will tabernacle over you, and once you're there,
-
you're like superman. You can't die. And everybody that is
-
not in that segregated place of protection will have to
-
dance with the devil and his beast. That's what the
-
Bible always says. Hosea, am I telling the truth.
-
Yes you are, Matthew.
-
So now, ladies and gentlemen, you can understand why things
-
are the way they are. This is why the dead
-
in Christ. In one Thessalonians, chapter four, verses thirteen through eighteen,
-
the dead in Christ are those that's been beheaded by
-
the beast for not taking his mark, because they were
-
cast into the outer darkness. After the great day of
-
the Lord and before the return of Christ. You won't
-
be able to die. If you're a Christian that's been
-
gathered together to the Tabernacle of David, please write that
-
down too. You can look it up later. Tabernacle of David.
-
I mean, just for clarity, make sure you've written down
-
everything I said. Write this down. The great gathering, okay,
-
is in Revelation chapter seven, verses nineteen through seventeen. That's
-
where you're going. And if you're not there, you're in
-
the outer darkness, and there you will have a choice
-
take the mark of the beast or be beheaded. Correct,
-
Jose correct? Is that not what Revelation chapter twenty said. Yes,
-
that is what it said. So God is very clear
-
with you. I mean, I just don't understand why people
-
will read first Thessalonians chapter four, and it's like they
-
can't say, okay, well, it says here that God will
-
send with Jesus at his return those that are asleep
-
in Jesus. Why on earth have you never looked for
-
that in the book of Revelation. Why why when it
-
is quite clear when it happens. I read it to you.
-
It's in the chapter before, it's in Revelation chapter nineteen,
-
and it says those who return with Jesus are riding
-
white horses, doesn't it Jose.
-
Yes. I am pleading with you to believe the Bible.
-
I am pleading with you to believe it and reject
-
the doctrines of devils as taught by Satan shepherds levity.
-
I could say so much about the priesthood right now
-
from numbers chapters, well, the first numbers one, two, and
-
three concerning the priesthood, I just I don't have time
-
to do that. And you know what, you really don't
-
need to know that that's information overlooked, but you need
-
to know prophetically, this is what the parable of the
-
prodigal Son is about. The first son represents those who
-
are sleeping Jesus, and the prodigal son represents the dead
-
in Christ. Because you need to understand something. The Bible
-
calls Jesus the first born from the dead for a
-
reason because his cadre is comprised of people that was
-
risen from the dead, so he is the first born
-
among them. He is pro tota coast necros in Greek.
-
And all these people, the dead in Christ that are
-
beheaded by the beast, they are his cadre. You are
-
his bride. There's a big difference between that, isn't there
-
Jose Yes, Matthew, there's a there's a there's a world
-
of difference between us two things. And First Thesalonians chapter
-
four was very clear, and if you would just keep
-
reading to First Thesalonians chapter five, he tells you what
-
the terminus is it is the great day of the Lord.
-
It's the terminus. And in First Thesalonians chapter five, he
-
even says what happens to you at the Tabernacle of David.
-
It says that the God of Peace will preserve your what,
-
your body, mind, and spirit. In the Greek it says
-
som psyche numah, doesn't it?
-
Jose, Yes, absolutely, amen.
-
So what we're trying to say is is that First Thesalonians,
-
chapter four and chapter five, we'll tell you everything, but
-
it's very important that you understand that God's word is
-
a polysemic. It can mean more than one thing, because
-
when God opens his mouth, he can say everything. And
-
you need to know that He told the parable of
-
the prodigal Son for prophetic reasons for you, just like
-
he gave the parable of the wedding banquet. He tells you,
-
point blank, if you haven't made your garments white, he'll
-
field punch you out of the wedding banquet. That is
-
what he said, right, Jose, Yes, it is. That's exactly
-
what happens. Guess what happens in the outer darkness. There
-
is a wheeping and a gnashing of peith, because once
-
you're there. You're going to dance with the devil, aren't you, Jose, Yes,
-
you are, and the devil's going to lead. She'll lead
-
that dance right to your death. So, boy, I've rambled
-
on quite some time. But all of you have this
-
paper in front of you. Write or whatever it is
-
you wrote on. I don't know. Maybe it's a piece
-
of cardboard you grabbed out of the trash. But you
-
concentrate on these things because the doctrines of devils and
-
not to overthrow the Bible, God's holy word. If you
-
wrote down those verses and wrote down those key phrases,
-
you look them up in Greek later, I'm not lying
-
to you. Those who sleep in Jesus is a completely
-
different Greek phrase, then those who are dead in Christ
-
a completely different phrase. And he tells you that those
-
who sleep in Jesus will return with Jesus. And Revelation
-
chapter nineteen plainly tells you they return on white horses.
-
Yes they do, Yes they do. You cannot lie to me.
-
You can't lie to me. So I hope everybody's excited
-
about this Chronicle Sun series that Jose has presented for us,
-
because it is good news to my ears, knowing that
-
one Thesalonians chapter four was telling the truth in verse fourteen.
-
God will bring with him those who sleep in Jesus.
-
That's where my mother's going to be. She's gonna punch
-
through the upper app with atmosphere with the Lord Jesus Christ.
-
Yes she is. And you can't take it from me.
-
I don't care how much you hate God and hate
-
his word and try to twist it with the doctrines
-
of demons. You can't take it from me. You can't
-
take it from Jose. Some of you are just stunned
-
to silence. I know this because I've done this in
-
classroom before. Yes, this verse first Thessalonians chapter four, verse
-
fourteen is answered in Revelation chapter nineteen, verse fourteen, and
-
the armies of Heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean,
-
followed him on white horses. Two groups. Knowing the timing
-
of the rapture is not enough. You have to know
-
the five ws, Who, what, where, when? Why? Most people
-
in the church don't even know the where they think
-
they're going to be taken to Heaven, don't they, Jose, correct, No, No,
-
you're not. You're going to enter the millennial reign of
-
Christ on Earth. So most people don't even know the
-
where concerning the rapture. But knowing the timing of the rapture,
-
knowing it's at the end of the tribulation is not enough.
-
You have to know who, what, where when. Why does
-
Marinatha ministries teach the five ws for this situation? Jose Yes,
-
So what you're trying to say is that you came
-
here with a ton of questions, didn't you. Jose Amen, Yes,
-
we could say literally hundreds of questions. Right, yes, and
-
now you know the five Ws. You know exactly what
-
is to come.
-
It's back to you, Jse Matthew. So, so the next
-
one that I want to address is in Matthew chapter nine,
-
verse nine. It reads, and Jesus passed on from there
-
he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office,
-
and he said to me, follow me. So he arose
-
and followed him. Now, when we keep reading this Matthew,
-
we see how the Pharisees associate the tax collectors with
-
the sinners, almost as if they're the same group. Right,
-
that's right. So the reason that this struck me, Matthew again,
-
that word arose there's G four fifty, but it's that
-
same spelling that we see in Revelation chapter twenty. But Matthew,
-
what what is those that are part of the First Resurrection?
-
Why are they there? It's because they had what they
-
had to face in Revelation chapter thirteen and being forced
-
to take the mark why so they could buy or
-
sell and obviously they refused that mark. And this buying
-
and selling, Matthew, is exactly what's related to the to
-
the tax collecting that Matthew is doing here in this chapter.
-
But the tax that's collected, Matthew and Revelation chare chapter thirteen,
-
in Revelation chapter nineteen where it tells us what happens
-
to those that are that take the mark. It is
-
like you said, there's there's Psyche, Soma and Numa. That's
-
the tax that's collected. So that's what struck me, Matthew,
-
when I saw this word here in reference to when
-
Matthew was called to follow Jesus, right, and we know
-
prophetically what that means. He's calling him to be a
-
part of the First Resurrection, right, So that's everything, Matthew.
-
Every time I find this word, it points me straight
-
back to those chapters in Revelation that talk explicitly about
-
those in the Fresh Resurrection and what they have to
-
go to. It's just giving me more detail of what's
-
going to happen. So the very fact that the tax
-
collector here is the one that Jesus chose to tell
-
to rise and follow him. Boy, Matthew, that's just bringing
-
in my ears, you know what I mean?
-
And it should be amen. You know it's amazing that well,
-
we don't need to give people information over low dooing.
-
Amen, Amen, because.
-
I could literally start here from the tax collector's booth G.
-
Fifty fifty eight and give you a whole other sermon.
-
I could go in for another hour and preach to
-
you the Kingdom of Heaven from this one word. We
-
obviously don't have time to do that.
-
Amen.
-
It's not beautiful that we do so, right, right, But
-
you're right, it's almost like this place is a casket.
-
I mean, we call it a tax collector's booth, but
-
prophetically you can see what he's talking about. He's talking
-
about a casket. He called Matthew. Of course, the other
-
chapters say this is Levi, the son of Alpheus, so
-
his name gets changed uh, oh, did I catch everybody's attention?
-
I got everybody's attention, didn't I? Yeah, Well, let me
-
read to you the other verses. Okay, so the one
-
that Jose just read Matthew nine nine. As Jesus passed
-
on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting
-
in the tax office, and he said to him, follow me.
-
So heroes and followed him. Mark chapter two, verse fourteen said,
-
as he passed by, he saw Levi, the son of Alpheus,
-
sitting in the tax office, and he said to him,
-
follow him. And he rose and following Luke five twenty seven.
-
After these things, he went out and saw a tax
-
collector named Levi setting at the tax office, and said
-
to him, follow me. So Matthew's name was changed to Levi.
-
And after his name was changed to Levi, he was
-
given a father. He was given genealogy, the son of Alfeus.
-
I mean, God is trying to show you that. Yeah,
-
the tax booth is like a casket. And Matthew got
-
called out of it. But once again, I need I
-
need to slow down. Only got five minutes left. So
-
ladies and gentlemen, you need to accept the simple fact
-
that you cannot rely on the creeds of men or
-
the catechisms of men. You only need the inspired, in arrant,
-
infallible Word of God. And when you go against its grain,
-
you're only fighting your own casket. I mean, I've just
-
Jose's only scratched the surface. I mean, as far as
-
I'm concerned, we're just getting started. I mean, ladies and gentlemen,
-
I could do a whole semester on the parable of
-
the Prodigal Son. I could do a whole semester on it.
-
So when I say we're just getting started, I mean
-
we're literally just getting started with all the information that
-
God has for us here. But if you're busy caught
-
up in what, well, let me say it again, if
-
you're busy caught up in the creeds and the catechisms
-
of men, You're just never going to see it. You
-
will never know what is to come. You will stay
-
eternally confused. And I know that you think I did
-
something special with Jose over the past decade actually now
-
it's fifteen years, But that's a lie. Ask Jose and
-
he'll tell you. The only thing Matthew did was give
-
me God's word. That's all I did.
-
Amen.
-
And now he's giving it to his sons. Amen. Amen,
-
And now they shall know what is to come. When
-
they read Revelation chapter nineteen. They'll know where their Grandpa is,
-
and they will know that if they are alive and
-
remain where they are, and they will know what comes
-
after them if they are alive and remain It's those
-
in Revelation chapter twenty, so they will know to teach
-
their sons. You need to cling to Christ now, because
-
I'm telling you right now, the world is the devil's playground,
-
and he certainly does roam to and fro as a lion,
-
seeking whom he wills to devour. And though the world
-
is his playground, he does the most killing in the
-
cow fines of a building, doesn't he, Jose Amen, I
-
am not afraid to say it, ladies and gentlemen, I
-
no longer go to a full walled church. I am
-
that time has passed. God has proven to me time
-
and time and again that's no place for the righteous.
-
I was saying back to you, Yeah, Matthew, I think
-
I think you covered pretty much what what I was
-
gonna be my closing remarks, because there's there's no way
-
to cover everywhere that this that that this word took me.
-
And again, like I said before, every time it relates
-
back to that first resurrection, and it gives me more
-
data and more input to understand what's going on, because
-
you know, there's there's only so much information that God
-
can put in a single chapter, in a single verse,
-
at least plainly. We know prophetically there's tons there, but
-
plainly there's only so much he can do. But by
-
planting this word throughout the rest of the Bible, Matthew,
-
I can, I can explore forever. I just get more
-
information on what is to come. And that's that's the
-
beautiful thing about God's word. That's why He's left it
-
for us. That's why He's told us if we follow
-
his commandments and followed the testimony of his son, he
-
will show us what is to come. He will send
-
his Holy Spirit to teach us. And we need to
-
believe that and we need to follow it. Matthew. That's
-
still in a way to even get a glimpse of
-
the amazing things that that God shares with us in
-
his work. So that that's all, that's all that I
-
encourage people to do, because every time me and Matthew
-
do these studies. I can sit for hours studying everything,
-
but when we get on here, I'm learning new things.
-
You know, as I'm reading through the very same chapters
-
and verses Matthew, that I already read through. I'm sitting here,
-
we're talking together, and boom, God's showing showing me more
-
things that that that connect the dots. So that's why
-
we do this, Matthew, to share with everyone, because the
-
time is short.
-
We know that the time is very short. Jose, take
-
us out of here in prayer.
-
Dear heavenly Father, whom we love and serve, I thank
-
you for gathering us together as your congregation, as your body.
-
I thank you for sharing us your word. I thank
-
you for giving us your son so that we may
-
have hope for what is to come. I thank you
-
for giving us your Holy Spirit so we may understand
-
what is to come. And Lord, I asked that in
-
giving us these gifts, all I ask is that through
-
this ministry we find the prodigal son, we find the
-
lost sheet, and we bring them to you, Father, We
-
bring them to your son.
-
Lord.
-
We don't do these things to puff ourselves up. We
-
don't do these things to beat other Christians.
-
Down.
-
We do these things to bring them to you, Father,
-
through your son, with the help of your holy Spirit. Father.
-
So I just asked that you give us strength to continue.
-
I asked that this program and the other ones that
-
we've done, that this ministry reaches as many people as possible,
-
those that are in need of hearing this Father, and
-
I pray for those listening. I pray for their family,
-
that those that are lost, those that are the prodigal sons,
-
that they may return to You Lord. And we ask
-
all this in the name of our Lord and Savior
-
of Jesus Christ. Amen, Amen and Amen.
-
Until next time, ladies and gentlemen, God bless God speed.
