  1. Welcome, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the homily for today,

  2. Homily forty six point zero one point eighteen through twenty five.

  3. What does that mean? First Corinthians is the forty sixth

  4. book of the Bible, the first chapter, verses eighteen through

  5. twenty five, and this homily coming from the New King

  6. James version. We're just following the New King James version.

  7. The heady for this is Christ, the power and wisdom

  8. of God. Right from the beginning of these verses it

  9. makes a reference to Isaiah. We're going to have to

  10. go there and sort that out because Christ is the

  11. wisdom of God. He is the wisdom of God. So

  12. in that you're going to see why why this stand

  13. is built around Isaiah chapter twenty nine, particularly verse fourteen.

  14. So it's important that you realize what is the point

  15. of view I'm coming from? What is my event horizon,

  16. what's my what's my greg coordinance when it comes to

  17. the Bible. Maredath the ministries has always believed that the

  18. Bible is inspired, in errant, and infallible. So that's where

  19. we're coming from. So let's read these verses and just

  20. digest it. I mean, when is the last time you

  21. heard this preached from the pulpit, it is highly likely

  22. that you've never heard it preached from the pulpit. So

  23. that being the case, let's get right to the text.

  24. Please remember that this ministry uses the New King James version.

  25. Why is that we use it because of the manuscript translated.

  26. It is from the Adito Regia manuscript. That is what

  27. any New Testament should be translated off of, as it

  28. was rightly divided. How so, ladies, and this is common

  29. knowledge your Bible. It's its chapters and verses from the

  30. Stefanas fifteen fifty. It has always been called. It was

  31. labeled by the Church, the royal edition, the Adido Regia.

  32. That's why I said, and everybody knows it. Historically this

  33. is commonly known. It was the Adito Regia that was

  34. rightly divided into chapters and verses. So from the New

  35. King James version, starting in verse eighteen of first Grints,

  36. Chapter one. For the message of the Cross is food

  37. business to those who are perishing, but to us who

  38. are being saved, it is the power of God. For

  39. it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the

  40. wise and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

  41. Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is

  42. the disputer of this age? Has not God made the

  43. foolish the wisdom of this world? For since in the

  44. wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God.

  45. It pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached

  46. to save those who believe. For Jews request to sign,

  47. and Greeks after wisdom. But we preach Christ crucified to

  48. the Jews the stumbling block, and to the Greeks foolishness.

  49. But to those who are called both Jews and Greeks,

  50. Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

  51. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and

  52. the weakness of God is stronger than men. So this

  53. entire thought process comes from Isaiah chapter twenty nine. That's

  54. that's what this whole thing is built upon of. Now,

  55. this chapter can be divided into true things. It can

  56. be divided into the verses that talk about the foolish,

  57. and it can be divided into the verses that talk

  58. about the wise. And I'm going to concentrate on the positive.

  59. I'm going to talk about us Christ. It Pleaseia. We

  60. are the congregation of Christ and our being the wise.

  61. So I'm not going to, you know, do this entire chapter.

  62. We're going to do. I'm going to pick out the

  63. verses once, particularly about the wise. So verse fourteen. You'll

  64. take note that what we from in first Parivius chapter one,

  65. it didn't quote the whole first So verse fourteen of

  66. Isaiah chapter twenty nine, from the New King James version. Therefore, behold,

  67. I will again do a marvelous work among the people,

  68. a marvelous work, wonder, for the wisdom of their wise

  69. men shall perish, and the understanding of the prudent men

  70. shall be hidden. So he is saying that this is

  71. a new thing. This is in fact established in the

  72. New Covenant. What was the old covenant. The old covenant

  73. was the covenant of the law. The new Covenant. Per

  74. Jesus Christ, when he dictated what we should do at communion,

  75. he himself stated, the new Covenant is the covenant of

  76. his blood. This is new, This is the new marvelous

  77. work and wonder. So skipping down here to verse eighteen,

  78. in that day the death shall hear the words of

  79. the book. Very important that we know here. Let's stop

  80. right here. We have to put together, both the Hellenica

  81. and the Hebraica, the Hebraca, that is the Hebrew Bible.

  82. This word for book here is sifer, or say far.

  83. Remember God took the vows. We don't know how to

  84. pronounce it, but that is to say, say far. That's

  85. what it is. And in the Greek what is it?

  86. What does the Hellenica say? That's right, it says biblios

  87. here right here, the words of the book, the logost biblios.

  88. That's what it says in Greek. So take notes of

  89. that and do some personal Bible studies based around this verse.

  90. But let me continue on. Just read both these verses together,

  91. because they go together, verses eighteen and nineteen. And that

  92. day the death shall hear the words of the book,

  93. and the eyes of the little blind shall see out

  94. of obscurity and out of darkness. The humble also shall

  95. increase their joy in the Lord, and the poor among

  96. the men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

  97. So this perfectly describes what First Corinthians, Chapter one, verses

  98. eighteen through twenty five, is talking about. Jump down here

  99. to the closing verses, these last three verses twenty two

  100. through twenty three, Therefore, thus says the Lord who redeemed

  101. Abraham concerning the House of Jacob that take note. Here

  102. he gives you this term Jacob before Jacob was renamed.

  103. He is telling you that the old covenant of Jacob

  104. is going to be done away with, and the new

  105. covenant will pertain to the House of Israel. Take note.

  106. It is a common misconception today for some strange reason,

  107. that the Church is going to be reintegrated into the

  108. tribe of Judah. That is the last thing on earth.

  109. The Bible says it is going to happen. What is

  110. going to happen is the tribe of Judah is going

  111. to be reintegrated into the children of Israel. That's what's

  112. going to happen. So continuing on, Jacob shall not be ashamed,

  113. nor shall his face grow pale. But when he sees

  114. his children the work of my hands is mixed. They

  115. will hollow my name, and hollow the Holy One of Jacob,

  116. and fear the God of Israel. These also, who aired

  117. in spirit, will come to understanding, and those who complain

  118. will learn doctrine. Wow, very important here they will they

  119. will how low my name. They will make this new

  120. covenant the name Holy. Very important that we must realize

  121. there is only one way to enter the New Covenant.

  122. I've already mentioned it. At the Union, the Lord Jesus

  123. Christ said, the New Covenant is my blood in that name.

  124. That is the only name under heaven which you can't

  125. be saved, the Lord Jesus Christ. So it is of

  126. paramount important that you be able to digest Isaiah chapter

  127. twenty nine. You have to be able to focus on

  128. what it's talking about, and only from this perspective. When

  129. you understand this, can you go forward in your understanding

  130. of First Corinthians chapter one, verses eighteen through twenty five.

  131. It is paramount that you understand in this and take note.

  132. Let's talk a little bit here about eschatology. Why here

  133. is it in multiple verses It makes a differentiation between

  134. Jews and Greeks. What is the actual Greek here talking about?

  135. You have to realize, ladies and gentlemen, that that Bible

  136. prophecy is always structured around the same nrave. You have

  137. to understand this. The entire planet has been hellenized at

  138. this point. If your country votes, if your country has

  139. a system of education, it's been hellenized. Everybody knows this.

  140. This is why in the eighth chapter of Daniel, you

  141. can know and understand what it's really talking about concerning

  142. the end of time. Yes, what happened in it exactly

  143. happened with Alexander the Great. In that narrative, Alexander the

  144. Great plays the role he played. But in the end times,

  145. take note. In the end times this is going to

  146. happen again and the entire planet gets hellenized. Take note,

  147. the German people have been hellenized. Their entire system of

  148. government is based on the Greeks. Their entire system of

  149. education is I can go down the line France, Great Britain, America,

  150. any other Western world, any of the Western world you

  151. go to, you go to Spain, it doesn't matter where

  152. you go. The entire planet has been hellenized. So apart

  153. from that, there are the Jews. So we have to

  154. understand two great, big, different systems, and the Jews come

  155. from the system of government that is what the hellenis

  156. ever set up. The Jews go off a king, they

  157. go off of monarchy. There's two different types of government.

  158. There's a monarchy, a system of you know, royal kings,

  159. and then there's elected officials which is a society that's

  160. been hellenized. You need to realize these things are important

  161. for you to know and you have to be able

  162. to sort them out there. So in multiple verses, when

  163. this talks about the Jews and the Greeks, it is

  164. talking about diometrically opposed systems of thought. You need to

  165. understand that. You need to know that I hope that

  166. you are enjoying these homilies, because I certainly am. This

  167. is what I was designed to do. I am designed

  168. to do exactly this and just exogetically go through the Bible,

  169. God's Holy Word, chapter by chapter, verse by verse. I

  170. love doing it. I hope you're enjoying it. If this

  171. is the only thing that you're getting, please understand it.
