  1. All right.

  2. Revelation 22.

  3. If you're there, say Amen.

  4. Okay, Come on.

  5. Here we go.

  6. And it reads, Starting in verse 12, it says, look, this is

  7. Jesus words, I am coming soon.

  8. That's more real now than ever before.

  9. My reward is with me.

  10. And watch this.

  11. I will give to each person according to what they have done.

  12. He says, I am the alpha and the Omega, the first and the last,

  13. the beginning and the end.

  14. So what he's just done there is this.

  15. He's saying, look, I'm gonna show up and I'm gonna judge.

  16. Now, if you're a believer, he's not gonna judge you on all your

  17. sins.

  18. Those are covered.

  19. But he's gonna say, I'm gonna look at what you've done with the

  20. life that I've given you, with the gifts that I've given you, with

  21. the resources I've given you, and you will get your reward based

  22. on that.

  23. Why?

  24. Because I've been around since the beginning, and I'll be around

  25. till the end.

  26. Says, blessed are those whose robes.

  27. Watch that.

  28. Who have washed their robes, that they may have the right to the

  29. tree of Life and may go through the gates into the city.

  30. Outside are the dogs who practice magic arts, the sexually

  31. immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves

  32. and practices evil.

  33. Now, what he's done right there is.

  34. He said there is a beginning.

  35. Sorry.

  36. There is a difference between those who are saved and those who

  37. are not saved.

  38. You guys feel me on that?

  39. You hear me on that, right?

  40. That there are those who are saved and those who are not saved.

  41. Now, I had the privilege of growing up.

  42. My mother was a drug addict.

  43. Dad was mentally unstable, didn't grow up in church.

  44. And so I had that moment when I knew, oh, I am saved.

  45. When at almost 19 years old, I was in a church.

  46. It was a biker church in Camino Island, Washington.

  47. Some 30 people in the room and some biker with a ponytail preaching.

  48. I don't know what he even said.

  49. I just knew that at the very end, I was in, like, a weepy mess,

  50. snot everywhere.

  51. And as you could tell at a biker church, I fit right in.

  52. They were like, you are one of.

  53. You're one of those people.

  54. So I had that moment.

  55. I had that moment.

  56. I don't even know where I'm at.

  57. Where I'm at.

  58. Here we go.

  59. Idolatrous.

  60. And he says.

  61. He goes, I, Jesus, have sent my angel to you.

  62. This testimony for the churches.

  63. I am the root and the offspring of David and the bright

  64. and morning star.

  65. Here it is the spirit and the bride say, come.

  66. And let the one who hears say, come.

  67. And let the one who is thirsty come.

  68. And let the one who wishes to take the free gift of the water of

  69. life, whoever desires, whoever wishes to take the free gift of life

  70. come today.

  71. I just want to speak to us briefly on the idea of get your reward.

  72. Get your reward.

  73. Would you guys pray with me?

  74. Father, we thank you for your word.

  75. We ask now as we open it, open our hearts, open our minds, Father,

  76. inspire us.

  77. Holy Spirit, convict us.

  78. And ultimately Jesus transform us.

  79. It's your name.

  80. We pray.

  81. Amen and amen.

  82. Amen.

  83. Man, what a beautiful thing you have going on.

  84. What amazing pastors you have.

  85. Come on.

  86. Pastors Mike and Julie, Just amazing.

  87. I mean, fastest growing church guys getting his master's degree.

  88. Come on.

  89. He's an author, he's written books.

  90. I've read books.

  91. I've never written them, but I've read them.

  92. I mean, you just.

  93. It's so crazy.

  94. It's so crazy.

  95. Never take for granted what God is doing in our midst.

  96. Because that's honestly what takes place in so many believers

  97. lives is we begin to take for granted what God is doing.

  98. And when we take things for granted, what we do is we begin to

  99. devalue them.

  100. We devalue them.

  101. New Jersey, are we with me?

  102. We devalue these gifts that God has given us.

  103. And therefore we get stuck into like normalcy.

  104. We get stuck into normal lives.

  105. And we don't realize the great thing that we've been invited into,

  106. the great privilege that we have to partner, hear me, partner

  107. with the Holy Spirit in order to see his kingdom come, in order

  108. to build his church here on this earth.

  109. Not because he has to, but because he wants to.

  110. He wants to partner with you See, there is an inherent need in

  111. most of us to be needed.

  112. People.

  113. That's like one of the main things is people need to be needed,

  114. but it's so much better to be wanted.

  115. Like, it's one thing for my wife to need me, but I'd rather she

  116. want me.

  117. Come on, somebody.

  118. And you know she does.

  119. Let's go, girl.

  120. Come on.

  121. Is that okay to say here?

  122. I'm like, that's all right.

  123. It's been great.

  124. It's the last week and I'll ever see you guys again.

  125. But anyways.

  126. But so he wants, he wants to partner with us.

  127. He wants this relationship.

  128. And you see here in Revelation chapter 22 that he finishes the New

    Revelation 22 chapter mention

  129. Testament era the same way that it starts in partnership as

  130. we just Read there, it says, let.

  131. Who say what?

  132. Let the Spirit and the bride say come.

  133. Not just let the Spirit say come, and not just let the bride

  134. say come.

  135. By the way, if you're like, what's the bride?

  136. Maybe you're newer to church.

  137. The bride, over and over again, throughout.

  138. Scripture is known as the church.

  139. It's known as the church.

  140. In Revelation 19, 6, 9, that actually talks about this great wedding

  141. feast that's going to occur between his people, the church, and

  142. him, our bridegroom.

  143. Now, if you'll notice, when Jesus is done, he died, buried, resurrected.

  144. And he says to his disciples In Matthew, chapter 28, it's known

    Matthew 28 chapter mention

  145. as the Great Commission.

  146. He says, all authority in heaven and earth has been given to

  147. me.

  148. Therefore, you go and make disciples, baptizing in the name

  149. of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them everything

  150. I've committed.

  151. He says, you go.

  152. He doesn't resurrect.

  153. Get in front of his disciples and go.

  154. All right.

  155. Y'all sit back and watch me.

  156. Watch what I do, because it's going to get crazy.

  157. You'll see amazing things.

  158. No, no, no, no, no.

  159. And then he says, check this out.

  160. And then he says, in Acts, chapter one, verse eight, says, the

  161. Holy Spirit will come upon you in power, and you will be my witnesses,

  162. my representatives, basically, me to the nations, Jerusalem, Judea,

  163. Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

  164. He doesn't say it.

  165. And the Holy Spirit will come upon you, and you can just soak in

  166. the presence of God, right?

  167. We're good at that.

  168. Come on.

  169. If you come from a Pentecostal background, it's like, oh, let's

  170. just soak in his presence.

  171. Oh, I just had such a great time the other day.

  172. Three hours in the presence of God.

  173. And then you did.

  174. What can I get.

  175. Can I.

  176. It's all right if I get.

  177. Cause this isn't for you, Brooklyn.

  178. This is for all the other campuses right now.

  179. You guys are fun.

  180. They're like this.

  181. The Shekinah Glory's here.

  182. It's for you, Miami.

  183. I'm sorry.

  184. It's for you.

  185. No, I'm just.

  186. No, but here we go.

  187. Here.

  188. Here we go.

  189. Now, this is the proof how we work in tandem.

  190. This is the proof how we work in tandem, right?

  191. So John 6:44 says, no one can come to me, Jesus speaking, unless

    John 6:44

  192. the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at

  193. the last day.

  194. John 12:32 says, and I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will

    John 12:32

  195. draw people to myself.

  196. So who draws Jesus the Father, the Holy Spirit is the one who draws

  197. men unto Jesus right now.

  198. But watch this.

  199. Romans 10:14.

    Romans 10:14

  200. How then can they call on the one they have not believed in?

  201. And how can they believe in the one of whom they've not heard?

  202. And how can they hear without somebody preaching to them?

  203. How can they hear about this Jesus without us using our words,

  204. without us preaching to them, without us giving them hope?

  205. Or how about this?

  206. How about this in the partnership thing?

  207. 2 Corinthians 1:20 says, for no matter how many promises God has

    2 Corinthians 1:20

  208. made, they are yes in Christ.

  209. Watch this.

  210. And so through him, the Amen is spoken by us to the glory of God.

  211. The promises are yes, but the Amen is spoken by us, by the way.

  212. So this God is not wavering.

  213. God is not changing his mind this way and that way.

  214. His promises are steady.

  215. His promises are yes, but we say the Amen.

  216. And if you don't know what amen.

  217. See, I know for a lot of us, especially we grow up in church,

  218. we think amen is like the I love you goodbye of our prayer.

  219. And I don't know why I just did this.

  220. I'm old school.

  221. This is like an old school telephone, whatever, it's I love

  222. you goodbye or whatever, click or I don't know, whatever you do

  223. now.

  224. But we think that's what it is.

  225. No, but the Amen is actually.

  226. It's the let it be so.

  227. So when we pray the promises of God.

  228. Watch this.

  229. When we pray the promises of God and we say Amen, we're saying,

  230. let it be so.

  231. Let it be so.

  232. In my life, come on, let it be so.

  233. In this city, let it be so.

  234. Come on.

  235. In this state, let it be so.

  236. In this nation, let it be so.

  237. On the east coast, to the west coast, come on, let it be so.

  238. We're partnering with his promise.

  239. See the way we even get Amen.

  240. Can I teach us a little bit?

  241. Is that right?

  242. If we teach here, so we even get Amen is.

  243. We inherited it.

  244. We inherited it from the Hebrews, from the Jewish people.

  245. Because what they would do is in their synagogues, when they would

  246. gather together and they would read Scriptures and they would offer

  247. prayers, they would then say Amen, the let it be so to remind

  248. themselves that God is faithful to carry it out.

  249. So do you understand when you say amen, there is power in that.

  250. There is power in our Amen that.

  251. I just prayed for something.

  252. I prayed for a miracle.

  253. I said amen.

  254. I said, let it be so in my life, Lord, I Just prayed over my

  255. finances.

  256. I said, let it be so in my life, Lord, I just prayed over my

  257. family and generations to come.

  258. I said, let it be.

  259. Let it be so.

  260. Let it be so.

  261. Because we all have this part to play, we can't expect somebody

  262. else to do it.

  263. Because there are times.

  264. Now, watch this.

  265. There are times where we sit back and we pray and we pray and

  266. we pray and we pray.

  267. But there's a point where we have to let it be so by our actions.

  268. Like for instance.

  269. For instance, when Moses.

  270. When Moses is taking the Israelites out of Egypt and he's

  271. like, real bold for a minute.

  272. And then they come to the Red Sea and they're at the edge of the

  273. Red Sea and there's millions of people, and they know that the

  274. Egyptian army's coming after him.

  275. Moses curls up in the fetal position.

  276. He's like, lord, you got to help us.

  277. What are we going to do?

  278. You're going to kill us all?

  279. And God's like, get up, stretch out your hand and watch what

  280. happens.

  281. That's actually a word for somebody in here right now.

  282. It's time for you to get up, come on, and do what you knew.

  283. Yeah, do what you know, the Lord has called you to do.

  284. It's the.

  285. It's the church being the church.

  286. So in the book of Corinthians, in the book of Corinthians, which,

  287. by the way, Corinth.

  288. Corinth had their favorite pastors.

  289. Just like today, we've got our favorite pastors.

  290. We got our favorites.

  291. We like, oh, we go to this church.

  292. But we listen to Pastor Mike Signorelli online all the time.

  293. Pastor Jeff, when are you gonna bring Pastor Mike back?

  294. All right.

  295. It's cool.

  296. That's great.

  297. No joke.

  298. One time I had a guest speaker, good friend of mine come.

  299. This is a total side note.

  300. And this lady in our church, bless her heart, which is another

  301. way to Southern cuss somebody.

  302. She said, she goes.

  303. She goes.

  304. She comes up to me, she goes, wow, now that was anointed preaching.

  305. I was like, well, you can go ahead and move to that city and go

  306. to that church then.

  307. So Corinthians was like this.

  308. Corinthians had their favorites, right?

  309. So in Corinthians 1 Corinthians, chapter 3, verses 5

    1 Corinthians 3:5–9

  310. through 9, Paul's like, Yo, what after all is Apollos?

  311. I know y'all like him.

  312. He's the good looking one.

  313. He's very charismatic in his delivery.

  314. But he said, what is Paul?

  315. Only servants through whom you came to believe as the Lord has assigned

  316. to each his task.

  317. I planted the seed.

  318. Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.

  319. Before we move on.

  320. Let me just.

  321. Let me just.

  322. Let me rephrase this.

  323. What, after all, is Pastor Mike and Julie and what is Chase

  324. and Haley out there in Indiana or Eddie and Jocelyn here, only servants

  325. through whom you came to believe as the Lord has assigned

  326. to each his task.

  327. Mike planted the seed, Eddie watered it, but God made it grow.

  328. That was really good.

  329. That was good.

  330. Now watch this, though.

  331. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything

  332. but only God who makes things grow.

  333. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and

  334. they will each be rewarded according to their own labor.

  335. According to.

  336. They will be rewarded to what?

  337. Their own labor.

  338. Their own labor.

  339. Their own labor.

  340. For we are co workers.

  341. We are co workers.

  342. We are co workers in God's service.

  343. And you are God's field.

  344. God's building.

  345. See, there's different calls that we have.

  346. There's different calls, and it's easy for us to expect somebody

  347. else to do it, or it's easy to go, well, they're better than I am

  348. at that.

  349. But God still has a call on your life.

  350. Or it's easy for us to disqualify ourselves.

  351. I've only been saved a month.

  352. Or, man, I went through the divorce and now I'm here.

  353. Or, man, I had a relapse.

  354. And so there's so many things that we can do to disqualify ourselves.

  355. But I love what First Corinthians 1:26 says.

    1 Corinthians 1:26

  356. Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called.

  357. Not many of you were wise by human standards.

  358. Not many were influential.

  359. Not many were of noble birth.

  360. I mean, I love it because we're seeing this in Oceanside, and

  361. you guys are seeing this here all across.

  362. Basically, you guys are all across the globe.

  363. You're starting new campuses all the time.

  364. It's crazy.

  365. Every time I talk to Pastor Mike, he's like, well, we just got

  366. another building over here and another.

  367. I'm like, good for you.

  368. But we're seeing so many people who are, like, new to the

  369. kingdom.

  370. We've got kids in our.

  371. I love it.

  372. We've got kids in our kids ministry.

  373. And they're like, what's.

  374. What's Christmas about?

  375. And they're like, we don't know, because we've got families.

  376. We've got men in the 30s and 40s who are getting saved and bringing

  377. their families.

  378. Think of who you were.

  379. I'm not from noble birth.

  380. Oh, my God.

  381. A drug addict mom.

  382. And I was raised in the barrio of El Cajon, East County Orlais.

  383. What's happening?

  384. Right, like, the diversities of this church and all your campuses

  385. just.

  386. It's wild.

  387. And we're just.

  388. We are.

  389. We have grace for ourselves because we're people that are trying

  390. to figure it out.

  391. Which, by the way, though, if you're a mature Christian and you're

  392. here or you're on Long island or if you're a mature Christian and

  393. you show up to church, don't show up to church and leave mad because

  394. nobody said hi to you.

  395. If you're a mature Christian, you don't.

  396. You don't show up and go, well, I just.

  397. I don't know.

  398. I didn't feel fed today.

  399. If you can't feed yourself, you're not mature.

  400. That's a word right there.

  401. If you're mature, you show up and you go, okay, how do I get involved?

  402. How do I align with the vision of this house?

  403. Whatever class I gotta go through, on whatever campus I'm involved

  404. in, this is what we gotta do.

  405. Whew.

  406. See, we've each been given a gift.

  407. First Corinthians 12, 4, 7 says, There are different kinds of

  408. gifts, but the same spirit distributes them.

  409. Again, partnership.

  410. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord, There

  411. are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in

  412. everyone is the same God at work.

  413. Now, to each one, a manifestation is given for the common

  414. good.

  415. It's up to you to receive the gift, but it's up to others to recognize

  416. it.

  417. It's up to others to recognize it.

  418. Meaning that you don't have to promote yourself in your gift.

  419. People will notice.

  420. You don't have to show up to church and be like, well, I just

  421. want you to know that I'm a prophetess, man.

  422. If you want me to lead your prayer ministry, I will do so.

  423. I have a word for you.

  424. Thus saith the Lord.

  425. He says, in three months time, I will be on your staff.

  426. What?

  427. Praise God, you're here.

  428. No, it's.

  429. I'm gonna show up, I'm gonna serve.

  430. And all of a sudden, people are like, dude, that guy's got a

  431. gift for intercession, bro.

  432. He's here 30 minutes before anyone else is outside laying hands.

  433. He shows up to the theaters in Miami before anybody else is here.

  434. He's on his knees, he's praying before.

  435. We've got to do something with him in prayer.

  436. Someone will recognize that we have to do our part.

  437. But here's the deal.

  438. There is a difference between calling and opportunity.

  439. If you just allow me for a moment, because this is one of my

  440. pet peeves today within the church, nationally, not necessarily

  441. globally, but nationally, is that I'm hearing more and more pastors

  442. talk about an opportunity they have as opposed to a calling they

  443. have meaning that like when they're looking for a new position,

  444. it's what's the opportunity?

  445. What's the pay?

  446. What's the place?

  447. Will it allow me to get to that next spot?

  448. And it's the same thing within, serving within the church

  449. as you show up.

  450. And it's like, well, I haven't had opportunity yet to get on that

  451. stage.

  452. Have they heard me sing?

  453. So I feel like the Lord directed me here.

  454. But you know, the church down the street, they'll get me on that

  455. mic.

  456. They'll let me.

  457. They'll let.

  458. Come on.

  459. They'll let me preach because I got a gift, right?

  460. Like, so I'm hearing this across the board.

  461. Do you know, like, man, I'm all about calling.

  462. That's why I'm 41, 31, and like, and we're playing catch up

  463. in retirement.

  464. Because for years I was called to a place.

  465. For almost nine years, I was called to the city of Marysville,

  466. Washington.

  467. Do you know where the city of Marysville, Washington is?

  468. I did not think so.

  469. But I served and I served.

  470. You know what my first paycheck was?

  471. $150.

  472. You know that I wasn't paid full time.

  473. Which by the way, for me, a full time salary.

  474. Pastor Mike, full time salary for me, first time ever, 36,000 doll

  475. a year.

  476. And I had a Youth Ministry of 200 showing up.

  477. People, kids were getting healed, saved and delivered.

  478. But I was called, there were other opportunities.

  479. Oh, I had other churches for 10 years.

  480. I served faithfully under a church in our area.

  481. Faithfully served.

  482. I had churches their size calling me up to be their lead pastor.

  483. But I was called.

  484. I was called.

  485. See, there's a difference between calling and opportunity.

  486. Calling is long term, rooted in God's purpose.

  487. Opportunity is short term and circumstantial.

  488. Calling is often specific and personal.

  489. Opportunity is general and accessible to many.

  490. Calling involves preparation and waiting.

  491. Opportunity skip steps.

  492. It's quick satisfaction.

  493. Calling is focused on identity and mission.

  494. Opportunity is focused on action and timing.

  495. Come on, stay in your calling.

  496. So what does this mean for us now?

  497. What does this mean for us now?

  498. See, this is, this is.

  499. I believe, as we just read here, that it's the.

  500. It's it's the bride and the Spirit.

  501. It's the bride and the Spirit.

  502. But I believe that there is a big gap between what the Spirit wants

  503. to do and what the church is willing to do.

  504. Indiana, you heard that?

  505. You heard that.

  506. You feel that.

  507. And I put the blame on us in the pulpit.

  508. I do.

  509. I do.

  510. It's our fault because we haven't put a demand on the people.

  511. We haven't.

  512. And why?

  513. Because the truth is, so many of us pastors, we're insecure.

  514. We want you to like us.

  515. We want you to come to our church and stay here.

  516. Don't go down there.

  517. Like the way I preach, don't I?

  518. So I don't want to upset you because I don't want you to leave.

  519. What can I do to get you to stay?

  520. So we haven't put a demand on the people, and then, therefore,

  521. the people in the church haven't stepped out and put a demand

  522. on their faith.

  523. Which, by the way, if you find yourself comfortable, it's time to

  524. step up.

  525. It's time to serve.

  526. It's time to give.

  527. Some of us right now.

  528. Some of us right now are experiencing hardship in our finances

  529. because we have not trusted the Lord with our finances.

  530. We're not giving.

  531. We're not giving according to biblical standard or principle.

  532. Some of us are experiencing issues with our children because

  533. we have not dedicated our children and given them over to the

  534. Lord yet, man.

  535. Whoo.

  536. I know the other campuses are going off right now, Long island,

  537. standing up and shouting me down at the moment.

  538. But see, because this is the deal, we have catered to the nominal

  539. Christian in order not to upset anyone.

  540. But this is what happens when you cater to the lowest common denominator.

  541. You get the lowest common results.

  542. We say stupid stuff.

  543. Pastors, we say stupid stuff.

  544. We're like, just worship how you feel comfortable today.

  545. Show me that in scripture.

  546. David says in Psalm 135, sit if you'd like, sip your coffee in

  547. Jesus.

  548. No, no.

  549. Raise your hands.

  550. Let's bow down.

  551. It's drop a knee.

  552. It's shout.

  553. It's rejoice.

  554. Come on.

  555. That's how we're commanded to.

  556. Or we've done this.

  557. We've called basic Christianity extreme, man.

  558. You go to church every Sunday.

  559. Woo.

  560. It's a little extreme.

  561. Why don't you go like the rest of us every, you know, 1.4 times

  562. a month, you know, or.

  563. Oh, my gosh, dude, he just stopped and prayed for somebody in

  564. the streets.

  565. Man.

  566. That guy's on fire.

  567. No, he's Basic.

  568. You really believe for miracles?

  569. Yeah, Basic.

  570. It's like, we've, like.

  571. You know why discipleship is lacking within the Church today is

  572. because we've called, like, basic Christianity extreme.

  573. It's just discipleship.

  574. John 14:12.

    John 14:12

  575. 14.

  576. Jesus says, Whoever believes in me will do the works I've been

  577. doing, and they will do even greater things than these.

  578. Because I'm going to the Father, and whatever you ask in my

  579. name so that the Father may be glorified in the Son, I'm gonna do

  580. it like, this is.

  581. This is it.

  582. So.

  583. So in my remaining time with us, I want to just.

  584. I want to.

  585. I want to.

  586. Because here's the deal.

  587. One day, we will stand before the Lord like we read here in Revelation.

  588. We will stand before the Lord after hopefully having partnered

  589. with the Holy Spirit to say, come on, people, come on.

  590. Come into the kingdom.

  591. And he says, again, Revelation 12.

  592. Sorry, 22:12, look, I am coming soon.

  593. My reward is with me.

  594. And I will give to each person according to what they have done.

  595. I will give to each person according to what they have done.

  596. We are judged.

  597. We will stand before the Lord one day.

  598. And he'll go, what'd you do with what I gave you then?

  599. I'm telling you, Matthew, if you.

  600. So in Matthew 25, which, by the way, Matthew 25 is not just like,

  601. you know, it is parable, but it's not like this is for these interesting

  602. stories about 10 virgins and, you know, talents and sheep and goats.

  603. No, this is.

  604. Matthew 25 is one of the most sobering chapters in all the Bible.

  605. You get the virgins who didn't have enough oil.

  606. That's a whole word.

  607. We don't have time for that.

  608. You have.

  609. You have the parables, if in the New Testament calls it bags of

  610. gold, but should be actually translated better at talents.

  611. Now, talents doesn't mean what you're gifted in, but it actually

  612. we'll get.

  613. Cause we're gonna get into that one.

  614. And then there's the sheep and goats, which is basically, you're

  615. living out the gospel or you're not.

  616. So.

  617. So.

  618. So the bag, the bags of gold in Matthew, chapter 25, starting

    Matthew 25 chapter mention

  619. in verse 14.

  620. Or again, talents.

  621. It actually should be called the parable of the good and faithful

  622. versus the wicked and lazy.

  623. Matthew 25.

  624. You guys still with me?

  625. Still with me?

  626. Say amen.

  627. You with me?

  628. You with me?

  629. All right, cool.

  630. Cool.

  631. Indiana, you with me?

  632. Say amen.

  633. You with me?

  634. Okay, cool.

  635. So again, it will be like a man going on a journey who called

  636. his Servants and entrusted his wealth to them.

  637. To one, he gave five bags of gold or five talents.

  638. To another, two bags of gold or two talents.

  639. And to another, one bag of gold or one talent each.

  640. Watch this according to his ability.

  641. Then he went on his journey.

  642. The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put

  643. his money to work and gained five more bags.

  644. So also the one with two bags gained two more.

  645. But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole, in

  646. other words, buried it in the ground and hid his master's money.

  647. Now, this is what the master gives.

  648. The reason why I want to focus on talent just for a moment.

  649. Because a talent is a weight that had a monetary value and an

  650. equated timeframe.

  651. And an equated timeframe, meaning one talent was a Hebrew.

  652. Talent was 75.5 pounds.

  653. I don't care how jacked you are.

  654. That's heavy.

  655. That's heavy.

  656. One talent now today, in Today's money equals $2.6 million.

  657. Man, you all must be rich.

  658. Cause I was like, that's a lot of money.

  659. $2.6 million.

  660. One talent was equal to 20 years of wages for labor.

  661. So basically, when you hear this, when they would have heard

  662. what Jesus was saying right there, he's saying, like, look what

  663. this master had left.

  664. Ultimately, what Jesus left us with is, you feel it, There's a weight

  665. to it.

  666. It is highly valuable, and it takes time.

  667. And he entrusted their resource.

  668. He entrusted his resources according to their ability.

  669. Again, he's partnering with his servants to produce more.

  670. Remember, each one of us has been given something, a manifestation

  671. of the spirit for the common good.

  672. Now watch this.

  673. All three.

  674. All three have time.

  675. He went away and he came back.

  676. It wasn't like he'd like, well, for you, I'm coming back at

  677. this time.

  678. And for you, I'm coming back at this time.

  679. No, no.

  680. They all had the same amount of time.

  681. They all had ability.

  682. Now, they did have different levels of ability, but they all have

  683. it.

  684. Which, by the way, never compare your level to anybody else's

  685. level.

  686. If he made you five, praise the Lord.

  687. If he made you two, praise the Lord.

  688. If He Made you One, Praise the Lord.

  689. Still remember that.

  690. That one talent is 2point something million dollars.

  691. Come on.

  692. And they all had the resources, right?

  693. They all had the resources.

  694. Now watch this.

  695. This is what the good and faithful do.

  696. How many of you want to be good and faithful?

  697. Anybody want to be good and faithful?

  698. So the good and faithful, right at once, they go out into public.

  699. How Do I know they'll go out into public?

  700. Because when you read deeper into it, watch this.

  701. It means that they go into the public marketplace and begin to trade

  702. in order to increase the wealth.

  703. So they go out into public, they start making something happen.

  704. Basically, they get to work.

  705. Now, I know.

  706. I know that today we're like, well, I don't work for my salvation.

  707. I know you don't work for your salvation, but you work the gifts

  708. that God has given you.

  709. I love the Dallas Willard quote.

  710. He says, grace is opposed to earning, but it is not opposed to

  711. effort.

  712. Like, this is something that we.

  713. And by the way, grace actually empowers your effort.

  714. Now watch what the wicked and lazy guy does.

  715. The wicked and lazy.

  716. He went off.

  717. Which, by the way, we know this.

  718. He went off by himself.

  719. Why did he go off by himself?

  720. Because he went and hid the talent.

  721. You don't hid or.

  722. Sorry, hide the talent or the bag of gold in front of everybody.

  723. You go off to an isolated place.

  724. Too many of us are living in isolation.

  725. Too many of us are off by ourselves trying to do our own thing,

  726. trying to do our own ministry.

  727. Trying to do.

  728. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

  729. And then what he does is he digs a hole and he buries it.

  730. He buries it.

  731. This is.

  732. So I want to speak to some people right now across all locations.

  733. I want to speak to some people because some of you guys are buried.

  734. You're buried in your work.

  735. Come on.

  736. You're buried in a relationship.

  737. You're buried in chasing your own dreams instead of his kingdom.

  738. You're buried in addiction.

  739. You know what I love about Jesus is he takes buried things and

  740. he brings them back to life.

  741. Now watch this.

  742. Watch this.

  743. Verse 19 through 21.

  744. It says, After a long time, the master of those servants, he

  745. returned to settle accounts with them.

  746. And the man who had received five bags of gold brought the other

  747. five.

  748. Master, he said, you entrust him with five bags of gold.

  749. See, I have gained five more.

  750. And his master replied, well done, good and faithful servant.

  751. You have been faithful.

  752. A few things.

  753. I will put you in charge of many things.

  754. Come share in your master's happiness.

  755. Says the same thing to the two.

  756. Brother, would you pad me so I sound more spiritual as we close?

  757. Thank you.

  758. Watch when he starts playing.

  759. The anointing is gonna come.

  760. So same with the two.

  761. Watch what the good and faithful do.

  762. The good and faithful multiplied.

  763. Multiplied it.

  764. They go from five to ten, two to four.

  765. It wasn't addition.

  766. It wasn't like, hey, I Had five.

  767. I gained you three more.

  768. That's eight.

  769. No, no, no.

  770. He doubled it.

  771. It's times two.

  772. Multiplication.

  773. Why is multiplication important?

  774. Because it's the first command.

  775. Not first commandment, but the first command.

  776. The first command we ever got was to be fruitful, multiply, fill

  777. the earth and subdue it.

  778. God deals in multiplication, not in addition.

  779. If you look throughout Scripture, this is a scriptural principle.

  780. I gotta go fast.

  781. My time is dwindling down.

  782. But we're getting into this.

  783. Mark, chapter 4, verse 20 says that his word on good soil will produce

    Mark 4:20

  784. a crop 30, 60, or 100 times, not plus, you know, plus three and

  785. a plus four.

  786. No, no, no, no.

  787. Times one can put a thousand to flight.

  788. Two can put 10,000 to flight.

  789. Multiplication, you sow sparingly, you reap sparingly.

  790. And by the way, even in nature, we see this even in nature.

  791. In one apple, you think, on one apple, one apple is five seeds.

  792. One apple can produce 1500 apples.

  793. Sorry, one tree can produce 1500 apples per season.

  794. How many?

  795. You do the math.

  796. I'm not good at it, but you see what I'm saying?

  797. And then how many trees.

  798. From there, it just goes on and on and on and on and on and on.

  799. So it says, I gained 5 more, and I gained 2 more.

  800. Which, by the way, this is important because it doesn't say

  801. that they earned 5 more.

  802. They didn't earn 5 more, they gained 5 more.

  803. The Greek word for gain there is cardino, and it means to win.

  804. It has nothing to do with earning, and it means everything

  805. to do with just winning.

  806. So while they multiply, watch what the wicked, lazy servant did.

  807. He maintained.

  808. He maintained, said master, I knew that you were a hard man, harvesting

  809. where you have not sown, a gathering where you have not scattered

  810. seeds.

  811. So I was afraid and I went out and I hid your gold in the ground.

  812. So here's what belongs to you.

  813. Here's your bag of gold.

  814. He didn't know the master.

  815. He thought he did.

  816. I knew you were a hard man, basically stealing from other people,

  817. taking where you haven't sown and scattered seed.

  818. No, no, no, no.

  819. What we just read, he's happy, he's generous.

  820. That's who he is.

  821. But because the wicked and lazy servant had a wrong view of

  822. the master, he lived in the wrong way.

  823. How many of you are living in maintenance instead of multiplication?

  824. How many?

  825. Which there's a.

  826. I believe there is a mother in Miami.

  827. Your mother of two, I believe.

  828. Mother of two.

  829. I feel.

  830. I just want to.

  831. I want to Speak this over.

  832. I believe your multiplication moment is coming.

  833. Your multiplication.

  834. You've been faithful, and your multiplication moment is coming.

  835. Wicked and lazy, they were.

  836. He was motivated by.

  837. Motivated by fear.

  838. Why would he say I was afraid?

  839. So I hid it.

  840. I knew that you were this type of person.

  841. I knew this.

  842. So you know what he's actually doing right there?

  843. He is blaming the master for his lack of work.

  844. He's blaming the master for his lack of faithfulness.

  845. I would.

  846. How many of.

  847. How many of us, we live in blame?

  848. Well, I would have done this.

  849. But them.

  850. I would be so much further in life.

  851. But, you know, my family background, I'd be so much.

  852. But my dad and I understand father wounds.

  853. I understand them very much.

  854. But there has to come a point when we stop being the victim and

  855. we start walking into victory.

  856. But the others.

  857. The others were motivated by faithfulness.

  858. Man.

  859. When I read this, can I get two more minutes?

  860. I'm gonna get two more.

  861. Just two more minutes.

  862. Just two more minutes.

  863. When I.

  864. When I read over this, I just got so.

  865. I like.

  866. The fear of God came over me, the good kind of fear of God, because

  867. I know that one day I'm gonna stand before the Lord.

  868. I'm gonna stand before the Lord, and I don't think I'm at that

  869. point where he's gonna be like, you wicked, lazy servant.

  870. But I'm gonna stand before the Lord, and I want him to go, oh, well

  871. done.

  872. Good and faithful servant.

  873. I don't want him to go, man.

  874. Jeff, there was two other churches in you, bro.

  875. Man, there was five more campuses.

  876. Why did you get comfortable?

  877. I know the building was full.

  878. That's great.

  879. The budget was fine.

  880. You could have co.

  881. Like, you coasted.

  882. I don't want to coast.

  883. I want to die empty.

  884. I want to be like, I did everything for you, Lord.

  885. I want to do.

  886. Come on, somebody.

  887. I don't want us.

  888. I don't want us to be.

  889. I don't want us to be.

  890. I don't want us to be like the church that stands in front of him

  891. and he goes, I never called you to preach.

  892. I called you to be an entrepreneur and start businesses

  893. that funded my kingdom.

  894. Why did you.

  895. Why did you leave the marketplace and go into the ministry

  896. or why did you stay in the marketplace?

  897. You were to take those skills and to partner with somebody who

  898. is apostolic in order to build the church.

  899. That's why it's so important.

  900. That's why it's so important.

  901. We're gonna get real practical.

  902. That's why it's so important that, number one, you have to know

  903. your ability.

  904. You have to know your ability.

  905. They each had an ability.

  906. Know your ability.

  907. I don't.

  908. I don't know what my ability is.

  909. Nobody's told me.

  910. It's not up to them to tell you.

  911. Find it out.

  912. Remember, let them recognize it.

  913. But you find it out if this is the most important thing you're going

  914. to do in your life.

  915. If this is your purpose, know your ability.

  916. And then here it is.

  917. Use his resources.

  918. There is the earth, is the Lord, and everything in it.

  919. All who are in it.

  920. Use his resources.

  921. We partner with him.

  922. He provides.

  923. Thirdly, get to work.

  924. Get to work.

  925. Come on, New York.

  926. I like the golf claps in here.

  927. That's cool.

  928. Look, get to work.

  929. New York ain't gonna save itself.

  930. Come on, New Jersey ain't gonna save itself.

  931. Long island ain't going to save itself.

  932. Indiana ain't going to save itself.

  933. Miami ain't going to save itself.

  934. Online, you ain't going to save.

  935. You know what I'm saying?

  936. We got to get to work.

  937. And then.

  938. Because there's going to be a day where we stand before the Lord

  939. and we receive our ward.

  940. And everyone right now, stand.

  941. Stand right now.

  942. Stand right now.

  943. Stand right now across all the campuses.

  944. Stand right now.

  945. Stand to your feet.

  946. Stand to your feet.

  947. I'm going to pray over all of you.

  948. And I know that some of you guys are already in it.

  949. You're already doing it, you're already rocking it.

  950. You're already.

  951. And good on you.

  952. But right now, some of us in egyp, these services need a little

  953. bit of time of repentance.

  954. Need a little bit of time of like, man, I've hid it, I've buried

  955. it.

  956. I've buried myself and so many other things besides advancing the

  957. kingdom.

  958. I've been unfaithful.

  959. I've been fearful.

  960. It's time to be done without.

  961. I've been looking for opportunities.

  962. Can I speak to your leadership for a moment?

  963. Quit looking for other opportunities.

  964. Stop.

  965. If God has called you here, he's called you here.

  966. If he's calling you somewhere else, submit that to the leadership

  967. and be like, I believe he's calling me here.

  968. Can you pray with me?

  969. Can we pray about this in every campus?

  970. Look, if there are.

  971. If there are some leaders, if there's some volunteers that need

  972. to take a moment after this service and just go to your campus

  973. pastor and just say, ooh, maybe that was God right there.

  974. And just say, look, I'm sorry, do so.

  975. But otherwise, I want to in Jesus name commission us come on

  976. to take the abilities he's given us, the resources that he's

  977. given us and to get to work.

  978. Arms raised all across every campus.

  979. Father, we come right now in Jesus name and we surrender.

  980. We surrender our will, we surrender our ways, we surrender

  981. God.

  982. We know we don't want to look for opportunity.

  983. We want to find calling God.

  984. We want to know what you've given us.

  985. We want to know what we're able to do because the spirit of

  986. God that is within us, God the gifts, God or the calling.

  987. And I pray, Father right now, Lord as you're assembling this army,

  988. this V1 army, your church and all the different locations and online
