Do you know the Bible is God's Holy Word? Do
-
you know it is inspired, in errant, and infallible? If so, like, share,
-
subscribe and support this podcast. So we are mere Nathal
-
Ministries and now Redemption Draweth Nighe. Welcome, ladies and gentlemen,
-
Welcome to the program. We are your host jose and Matthew.
-
Tonight we're getting back to the Book of the Twelve Prophets,
-
and tonight is Joseah chapter four. It's you know, a
-
lot of people say that you can't translate or transcribe
-
this chapter into modern day events.
-
Ose. You know, they say, there's, well, what's going on
-
in this chapter?
-
There's no such thing as a lot of this stuff,
-
which I think a lot of people are disconnected from reality.
-
Aren't they.
-
Yes, me and my wife today did Romans Bible study
-
on Romans chapter seven.
-
Boy, there's a lot of people that are so lost
-
in this world.
-
That are calling themselves after the name of Christ. It's staggering. Ose,
-
It's it's it's staggering.
-
You know, let's consider this. It's public not.
-
Its posted on their website that planned parenthood executed three
-
hundred and ninety three thousand, abortions in twenty twenty four
-
went to another you know, that's where I started my
-
research branched out from there, and it's absolutely staggering. I mean,
-
wrap your mind around this. How many abortions do you
-
think was carried out globally?
-
I can't even fathom, Matthew, you can't even fathom. No,
-
I mean we're talking about abortions. But I mean when
-
you consider too, Matthew, you know, when you have certain
-
like artificial insemination, right, and look, you know, you think
-
it's a great thing that this family is trying to
-
have a baby and trying to you know, do everything
-
they can to have children, Matthew, until you realize that
-
to get that one viable fetus, Matthew, you've got to
-
go through I don't know how many pries. I don't
-
know how many fetuses that get tossed away that are
-
deemed unviable. And you know, Matthew, if you get more
-
than one viable fetus and the family only wants one fetus,
-
what do you do with the other viable ones? It
-
just blows my mind.
-
Matthew, Well, this is going to blow your mind.
-
Abortion was the number one cause of death globally in
-
twenty twenty four, seventy three million. I want you to
-
process that, Jose, seventy three million babies were butchered by
-
their mothers. These were they were assassinations carried out in
-
the womb. The mother paid an assassin to murder her baby. Now, look,
-
just so you all know what's coming. In the Birth Pains,
-
God is going to take out billion people. And you
-
could take that to the bank back what he says
-
with his own mouth. In the Birth Pains, ladies and gentlemen,
-
in the Birth Pains, one quarter of the global population
-
is taken out by the four writers. Currently that's over
-
two billion people. And you wonder why. So just as
-
the heads up, there's a key phrase in this short
-
little chapter. But if you don't know, if you haven't
-
saturated your psyche with scripture, well you're gonna blow right
-
past it.
-
You're gonna blow right past it.
-
You know, Ose, before we read this, what is the
-
state of the pulpit today? Now, by pulpit, I mean
-
the people leading the congregations. You know, some people call
-
them pastor, some people call them preachers, some people call
-
them a priest. What is the state of the pulpit today?
-
Is the pulpit holy and biblically pure?
-
No, Matthew, I'd say no, not at this stage in
-
the game.
-
And why would you say that.
-
I mean, we've commented before. You know how you can
-
do a simple Google search and see how you know
-
how many pastors are in trouble, are going to jail.
-
You know, you've got the past. Well you've got the past.
-
Uh you know, even if you don't go to jail,
-
but you've got adultery going on with with pastors and
-
and parishioners. I mean everything, everything you can imagine, Matthew,
-
is going on with the pulpit, you know. And it
-
kind of all starts with not wanting to priest the gospel,
-
not wanting to tell people to repent for giving up there,
-
you know, or or allowing their the sins to continue
-
because you want to keep the the peuse field instead
-
of proclaiming the word of God. That's where it starts at, Matthew.
-
And that leads to to all kinds of sin and
-
all kinds of crimes, and all kinds of trouble that
-
the church finds herself.
-
In, all kinds of trouble.
-
You know, for some reason, it just it has me
-
thinking about Martin Lloyd Jones. Now, he's an old time
-
creature in England a long time ago, back in the
-
beginning of the sixties, he had major problems because you know,
-
the churches in England were being encroached upon by liberals.
-
And I wonder what Martin Lloyd Jones would say today
-
when you have I mean, HOSEI I'm not talking about
-
your particular church, right, I'm not not talking about my
-
particular church. But there are ordained homosexual women occupying the pulpit,
-
not in once you're in many.
-
Churches, right right, I mean literally, if you were.
-
To transport him to today, he would leave his own
-
church due to apostasy. The pulpit has apostasized. I mean
-
you stated it quite clearly. You can prove that not
-
by the current amount of a pulpit occupiers being prosecuted,
-
no no, no, no, no, those that have been convicted
-
and are currently behind bore bars. That alone proves it
-
that the pulpit has apostasized itself from the Lord Jesus
-
Christ Jose. But that being said, let us remind the
-
listener we are not covering this in the masoretic text.
-
We are utilizing the Greek text. This Bible lesson is
-
coming from the Subtulogent, It's coming from the Hellenica. This
-
predates your Hebrew text by a thousand years.
-
And that's a fact.
-
We have in hand copies of the Subtuagin from three
-
hundred BC, that time in which the entire world began
-
to be Hellenized. That's right, Alexander the Great. So these
-
are all important facts for you to digest before we
-
move forward in the text.
-
And boy, it's a whopping text.
-
So I don't know if you want to take the
-
whole thing or or take it in however many parts
-
you want.
-
Really doesn't matter to me, because I'm all for it, Jose.
-
So you're going to be reading from the let some
-
English steptuagen.
-
Correct, Yes, I am Matthew.
-
All right, well give it to us however you want
-
to give it to us.
-
All right. We're in chapter four here a word of
-
the Lord, oh sons of Israel, because the Lord has
-
a dispute with those who inhabit the land, because there
-
is no truth or mercy or knowledge of God in
-
the land. A curse and a lie, and murder and
-
theft and adultery, has been poured out upon the land,
-
and bloodshed is mixed upon bloodshed. On account of this,
-
the land will lament and be diminished with all those
-
that dwell in her, with the wild beasts of the field,
-
and with the reptiles of the land, and with the
-
birds of the heaven. Even the fish of the sea
-
will come to an end. In order that nobody may
-
either judge or reproach anybody. But my people will be
-
like a priest who is opposed, and he will be
-
sick during the day, and a prophet will be sick.
-
With you. I have made your mother like knight. My
-
people has become as if it possesses no knowledge, because
-
you have rejected knowledge. So I will reject you from
-
being a priest to me and got the law of
-
your God. So I will forget your children in accordance
-
with their multitude. Thus they sinned against me, I will
-
turn their glory into dishonor they will eat the sins
-
of my people, and they will take their souls by
-
their injustices. And just as the people will be so
-
also the priest. And I will avenge against him his ways,
-
and I will repay him his counsels. And they will
-
eat and never be full. They prostituted themselves, and they
-
did not prosper because they neglected the Lord to guard fornication.
-
The heart of my people received both wine and intoxicating drink.
-
They inquired with omens, and they would bring news to
-
him with his rods. They were led astray by a
-
spirit of fornication, and they are fornicated away from their God.
-
They would sacrifice upon the summons of the mountains and
-
make offerings upon the hills under an oak and a
-
white poplar and a shady tree, because it is good shelter.
-
Because of this, your daughters will commit fornication, and your
-
brides will commit adult tree. And I will not look
-
upon your daughters when they prostitute themselves, and upon your
-
brides when they commit adultery, because the men would mingle
-
with the prostitutes and make offerings with those who have
-
been brought to an end. And the people who understand
-
wouldn't whine with a prostitute. But you owe Israel, do
-
not be ignorant, and you, o Judah, do not enter
-
into Gilgaual, and do not go up into the house
-
of beth Avon, and do not swear by the living Lord,
-
because Israel used to be irritated like an irritated heifer.
-
Now the Lord will tend them like a lab in
-
an open space. For I am partikuing in Idols sets
-
traps for himselves. He chose Canaanites, fornicating themselves. They were
-
sexually immoral, They loved dishonor through its insolence. You are
-
a commotion of wind in its wings, and they will
-
be put to shame by their altars. It's a boy.
-
God's really hammering away. Matthew at the clergy here that
-
that's the first thing I seen, and for a very
-
simple reason. He says in the first verse, there is
-
no truth or mercy or knowledge of God in the land.
-
And that's what starts this whole bald rolling Matthew, like
-
we said before, clergy refusing to preach the Gospel the way,
-
the way it was shared to us. Clergy refusing to
-
share the knowledge of God and tell everyone to repent
-
the way, the way all all the gospels start off. Matthew, right,
-
it's it's John the Baptist tells us to repent for
-
the Kingdom of God is at hand. That should be,
-
that should be well, We should we should be hearing
-
the church every day, Matthew, because we all need to
-
repent and and right away, Matthew. That's that's what struck
-
me about this chapter is God telling us why he
-
has a dispute with the with us and the results
-
of that dispute, right he pours upon on the land.
-
He pours upon a curse, a lie, murder, theft, and adultery.
-
Right there in the first two verses, Matthew, why, what
-
what happens? And why it happens? He tells us.
-
You're right, You're absolutely right, you know. Boy. To me,
-
this is very very hard words. I mean, I don't
-
know how to say it easy. I don't know how
-
to say it kindly. It just amazes me that these
-
verses are mad Jose.
-
There's a time where a white wedding dress meant something, right, right,
-
I think we all need to wake up. That don't
-
mean something anymore, doesn't No, And it just balloons out
-
from there, I mean literally just balloons out from there.
-
This, the current time that we're in is just off
-
the hook.
-
It's just, you know, the best way for me to
-
describe it is absolute lawlessness, absolute lawless.
-
And you know, I keep I keep telling this. And
-
as a matter of fact, me and my wife were.
-
Getting ready to do one of the installments of the
-
Romans Bible study, and before we went on, she told me,
-
you're not allowed to say Antiinomian free grace.
-
She goes, if you say it, you'll start preaching. Just
-
she forbid me to say it.
-
But really, the Bible tells you that it's because of
-
lawlessness that the love of most will wax cold, right, right,
-
And that's where we're at. This is what's being screened
-
from all the pulpits is grace, grace, just continue sinning.
-
And enter the kingdom of heaven in the way that
-
you're doing.
-
And there's suppose to be a big differentiation between the
-
priest and the people, right, Yes, the priest is supposed
-
to teach the people the difference between right and wrong.
-
I mean, is this not the truth that there is
-
such a thing as common law?
-
Right?
-
Right?
-
I mean, this is all over the planet.
-
You you shall not murder, right, Yes, that's common law.
-
What's being spewed from the pulpit today is not even that.
-
They say you just continue in your sins and enter
-
the kingdom of heaven. That's that's just how it's.
-
Done, and that means that there's no priest and the pulpit.
-
It's the people. But this.
-
Phraseology from verse six really gets me going because how
-
many times have you heard this phrase, this phrase in
-
public and especially you know when you're going through ministerial audios,
-
YouTube videos. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge?
-
Did you know that's where this came from, Jose? I
-
mean this is a common phrase today. My people are
-
destroyed for lack of knowledge. That comes from verse six here.
-
Now that's what you all know from the masoretic text.
-
The subtulagen here says, my people has become as if
-
possesses no knowledge because you have rejected knowledge. So I
-
will reject you from bringing priest to me. And you
-
forget the law of your God, so I will forget.
-
Your children.
-
You know, one of the biggest businesses today, Jose is childcare.
-
Did you know that?
-
Right?
-
Why is that? Jose? Well?
-
Right now, everyone you've got two income households where both
-
the mother and the father have to go to work,
-
so that leaves the kids out either out in the
-
wind or in childcare.
-
You know, so I better get this out in the open. Huh.
-
Have you ever known me to mince words? Jose? No,
-
I have not, Matthew Amen, because.
-
The Lord he is my God. You better write that down, Jose,
-
because I mean it. That's why I don't mince words.
-
Because everything I have and everything I am stimmed from
-
this fact. You better write this down. I fear the Lord.
-
So here's what happened last year, twenty twenty four. Well,
-
let me back up a year twenty twenty three, our
-
youngest child graduated from high school. So twenty twenty four,
-
I permitted my wife to go work in the daycare,
-
specifically the babies. She took over the babies at the daycare.
-
I let her do that for one year.
-
She cried out to me, I want to day. I'm
-
gonna do this. I'm gonna do this, I'm gonna do this.
-
One year I made her quit, and it gave her
-
a deep appreciation, because you know, several times, these new
-
mothers would come and they would hesitate on leaving the institution.
-
They talk about this, they talk about that, and it
-
wouldn't be too long before they would just bust up
-
balling after they'd been there for an hour when they're
-
supposed to drop off their baby and leave. So of
-
course they continued down this path because it.
-
Wore off, right, It wore off right.
-
They trained themselves to disconnect themselves from their babies. Oh yes,
-
my wife witnessed more than one of these, and my
-
wife marveled after them. Was quite quite clear that they
-
did love their babies.
-
But they love that more. Can I be forthright?
-
Jose, Yes you can math.
-
Amen, they love that. They love that ash more than
-
they love that child. That's a fact.
-
They were desirous of higher heels, right. They were desirous
-
of lower necked dresses.
-
Amen.
-
Amen, Amen.
-
They were desirous of.
-
The bells and whistles, right, Jose, that's what that's modern terminology,
-
when when you want the fancy dancy of anything, they say,
-
that's the bells and whistles, right right.
-
And they were bacted their own children.
-
So these verses are very clear that God says, when
-
this happened, I will forget your children. So wrapped up
-
in these verses is something very important. He hints at
-
it here, he hints at it in this verse. My
-
people has become as if it possesses no knowledge, because
-
you have rejected knowledge. So I will reject you from
-
being a priest to me, and I will forget. And
-
you forgot the law of your God, so I will
-
forget your children. He's beating around the bush here, but
-
in verse nine he comes out and says it, and
-
just as the people will be, so will the priest.
-
Now it's one thing when you look at this in English.
-
It's another thing when you look at it in Greek,
-
because that quotes coming from somewhere. I know that the
-
people will be as the priest, and that's what this
-
says in Greek, says the people will be as the priest.
-
This is a trigger for me.
-
I know what that's talking about.
-
It's stating that this is the state of what happens.
-
Right before one chapter in the Bible. I'm going to
-
give you one chapter in the Bible.
-
Hostully, Now, I'm gonna expect you to give me dictation
-
on it. Okay, So I might be a little harsh
-
if you can't answer, that's all right. Say I don't remember, Matthew, Okay,
-
is that fair?
-
Yes? Yes, Matthew.
-
Tell me riddle me Matthew twenty or Isaiah chapter twenty four.
-
Riddle me that what what is that about? What's what's
-
Isaiah chapter twenty four about.
-
That's a the apocalypse of Isaiah, Matthew. That's that's where
-
you get the the earth rolling to and fro like
-
a drunkard, the great and terrible day of the Lord.
-
And that's that's the events that have described there in
-
Isaiah twenty four. Matthew.
-
That's right.
-
And if you remember right, it starts out with those words, right,
-
this will be like the that, Yes, the this and
-
that it's the this and that one's right right, Well,
-
they're incorporated in that text, ladies and gentlemen, first.
-
Two, and the people will be like the priest.
-
Mm hmmmm.
-
This is why I said to you that seventy three
-
million babies were murdered in twenty twenty four. You know
-
that's basically that's three quarters of a billion, right hose, right, Matthew.
-
And let's be clear, because of this, during the birth pains,
-
God will take out two over two billion right now,
-
I think there's two point zero eight billion on the planet.
-
He's going to take out a quarter of us.
-
So you realize that here incorporated in this text, you're
-
supposed to realize that, especially in Greek, you can't see
-
this in English. This is prophetically alluding to the simple
-
factors are going to be a day in time when
-
the Harlew tree would become so bad that the priest.
-
Would be women.
-
So I keep switching back here from masculine to feminine
-
priest people, harror, tary, adultery. Let's go back to Martin
-
Lloyd Jones, big time British preacher, big time. That was
-
just what nineteen sixty nineteen sixty one through there where
-
he had his big controversy. He stood up and locked
-
his knees and said, no, no, these liberals aren't Christians, jose.
-
No, they're not.
-
He locked his niece and said, no, no, we ain't
-
going to go there. If you were to transport him
-
to today, what would he do?
-
Would he have a heart attack?
-
I mean, you realize that we just had both lesbian
-
supposed priests stand up and rebuke the president we just elected.
-
It was all over the news right right. What would
-
he have done? What would he have done? So you
-
need to realize the cross pollination here between Hoseiah and Isaiah.
-
You better get the cross polonization here.
-
Let me read from the lexum subcusion here Isaiah chapter
-
twenty four. Look, the Lord is destroying the inhabited world,
-
and we'll desolate it. Let me just stop right there, Jose.
-
Can you pull up for me Isaiah chapter thirteen thirteen. Please,
-
it's real easy to memorize thirteen thirteen.
-
Read it for me, all right.
-
I've got the Hebrew here, Matthew, so I'll.
-
Just ah, that's perfect, that's perfect. Read it you, King James.
-
Therefore I will shake the heaven, and the Earth will
-
move out of her place in the wrath of the
-
Lord of Hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.
-
Jose, what is the Earth's places?
-
Where it's where it isn't It's currently in its orbit, Matthew.
-
We call that the habitable zone, right, yes.
-
Goldilocks zone.
-
Yes, yes, These new age scientists like to call it
-
the Goldilock zone. Did you catch that God's getting ready
-
to feel punch you out of it? Riddlely this hose
-
based on your knowledge of the Book of Revelation. Do
-
you think he moves the planet farther away from.
-
The Sun and we all freeze? Or do you think
-
he moves us closer to the Sun and we get
-
uncomfortably warm? Which one do you think it is.
-
I've been trying to stay closer, Matthew.
-
That's right, because the sun scorches and it causes boils
-
to break. God out on everybody, right, Yes, they gnaw
-
their tongues right, yes, Okay, So now.
-
I've given you all the context. You better believe this.
-
Because the Lord, he's God, and you are less than
-
zero compared to him, because he is creator, you are created.
-
So just so you understand, he is going to do this,
-
and you think, well, that's impossible, we'll die, Jose, do
-
me another one. What's Revelation chapter nine, verse six?
-
Say?
-
Please, Revelation nine verse six. Yes, I'll take it in
-
the Hebrew, and that's fine with me. But if you're
-
reading a New American Standard Bible or the new King
-
James version, that'll be the Greek.
-
But I'm good with that. Read it.
-
Yeahvation nine verse six, right, yep. In those days men
-
will seek death and will not find it. They will
-
these desire to die, and death will flee from them.
-
You understand what that means, Jose. Yes, he's going to
-
feel upunch you, and the goal is the sun. And
-
in your foolishness, in your hatred of God, you will desire.
-
Oh my goodness, won I'll just die. I'll just commit suicide.
-
Guess what, ladies and gentlemen, it's then when you will
-
raise your voice and weeping and willing, and your heart
-
will know that the Lord he is God, and you
-
have rejected him.
-
So let me get back to Isaiah chapter twenty four. Look,
-
the Lord is destroying the inhabited world and will desolate it,
-
and he will uncover its face and scatter those living
-
in it. And the people will be like the priest,
-
and the servant like the Lord, and the maid like
-
the lady.
-
The fire will be like the seller, the lender like
-
the barrower, and the debtor like him who owes.
-
The land will be ruined with ruin, and the land
-
will be blundered with plundering.
-
Or the mouth of the Lord has spoken these things.
-
The land mourned, and the inhabited world was ruined.
-
The exalted of the land mourned, and the land acted
-
lawlessly because of those inhabiting it, because they transgress the
-
law and change.
-
The ordinances and epernal estimate.
-
I can keep reading, but this is what we're talking
-
about in Joseah trapter four. Now I don't I'm not
-
saying you should believe it. I am saying with certainty
-
this you could wait for it. Did I confuse you
-
with my phraseology. I don't care with you whether you believe.
-
It or not.
-
But you are waiting for it because it is going
-
to happen once again, because the Lord, he's God, and
-
these are the things that he has said he will do.
-
Now you caught that.
-
There in this It was riddled up in these opening
-
verses of Isaiah chapter twenty four.
-
You're looking at the Greek. You can crack it.
-
You're looking at the Greek, you can catch it. He's
-
switching back here between masculine and feminine. You understand what
-
he's saying, which back in these here, let's talk about this, Jose.
-
Would it be physically possible for there to be a
-
female priest in the pulpit or let's just say, in
-
the high priest position of Caiaphas at the time of Christ.
-
No, Matthew, no, no.
-
Not only could they not be a priest, they couldn't
-
in any way be associated with the clergy to the
-
temple right right period period, couldn't be done.
-
But take no, it's amazing what the Greek can do
-
apart from the Hebrew it is amazing, scary, but it
-
is mainly so what say you, Jose, I've rambled on
-
here for a pretty good pitch.
-
Well, Matthew, I'm following your your train of thought. And
-
if in the beginning of Hoseah, you have the priests
-
not doing their job, priests rejecting the knowledge of God,
-
ignoring the laws of God, and so essentially the people now, Matthew,
-
have no have no way of reaching God because they
-
have no there's not that priest is not there. Who's
-
supposed to be the one that provides the knowledge of God,
-
the one that that that is supposed to bring them
-
closer to God, you know, and supposed to teach the
-
laws of God. They're not there. They're not doing their job.
-
So as a result, now you get in verse in
-
verse eleven and twelve, right, it says now that people
-
have to inquire with omens, they have to seek use
-
with rods, and and that God tells us is a
-
spirit of cornication because instead of knowing and understanding His
-
word and and knowing what what God wants us to do,
-
what we're supposed to be doing because God, in God's
-
word he tells us what is to come, Matthew, that's
-
without a doubt. He tells us what we're supposed to
-
be doing, and he tells us what is to come.
-
And if if we no longer have that priest serving
-
that function to bring us closer to God. Well, now,
-
the people, Matthew, they're they're they're seeking after anything and
-
anything that that they can do to try to understand
-
their their future, to try to predict their future, anything
-
to try to get the upper hand on what they're
-
supposed to be doing in regards to their their their
-
fellow their their fellow man around them. They're grasping at
-
straws for anything because that priest is no longer doing
-
their job, Matthew. Their priests has has rejected the law
-
of God, and so that's called it causing his people
-
the sheep to go straight. So that that's immediately what
-
I'm picking up on their, Matthew. The other thing that's
-
that's coming to mind is, you know, when we think
-
about you know, women in the clergy, right immediately you
-
consider the spirit of Jezebel and what it says in
-
the book or Revelation about that, and it takes on
-
a different tone, Matthew, when we understand historically these temple priestesses,
-
they were, for all intents and purposes, temple prostitutes. There's really,
-
like you said, there's no there's no such thing as
-
a as a woman priest serving the function that that
-
the male clergy would do. The female clergy and quotes
-
was essentially temple prostitutes, and that that type of temple
-
priestess caused many, many of God's people to fall in
-
the past, Matthew, to succumb to that temptation. And so
-
I think, uh, maybe we don't grasp the hist oracle
-
context in today's world of what it means to have
-
female clergy, Matthew. But historically that is the function of
-
the priests. They were temple prostitutes.
-
That's right, Jose, And everybody knows it. I'm glad you
-
came out and said it.
-
I was alluding to it. This is a historic. Look,
-
archaeologists are the first ones that can tell you this, right, right,
-
you know, everyboerey to go back in time.
-
To let's say eighteen ninety nine, everybody would have told
-
you this. Everybody knew at that time the only priestess
-
ever in history was a Harlot, she was a temple prostitute. Literally,
-
for the first six thousand years of this planet, everybody
-
knew that, Jose.
-
Everybody knew it, right, So I'm glad you come out
-
and said it. I was alluding to it. And you
-
know what, nothing has changed, Jose, Nothing has changed.
-
If you see a woman in the pulpit, Jose, just
-
so you know, she's a harmlet, okay, because she's obviously
-
not worshiping your God, is she right?
-
Because she has rejected the word of your God.
-
She's rejected. I mean, we can go through the chapters
-
and verses, but we don't need to. These things are
-
common knowledge.
-
For thousands of years. You couldn't say one without meaning
-
the other.
-
If you said priest this, you meant prostitute only her
-
prostitute was not on the corner.
-
It was in the temple.
-
That's quite simply a historical fact. There is no debating it.
-
Let's see if you saw something else that I saw.
-
Read verse nineteen of Hoseah chapter four.
-
Please you are a commotion of wind in its wings,
-
and they will be put to shame by their altars.
-
What do you make of that?
-
I mean, when I hear wings Matthew. I mean, I
-
immediately think of eagles wings, but I'm not sure that's
-
the same connotation here. Yeah, I'm not sure, Matthew. I'm
-
not sure about that verse.
-
So you're thinking about Zachariah. I just caught you by surprise,
-
didn't I.
-
Yep.
-
Don't you hate it when.
-
I do that? No, it's actually quite enjoyabul Matthew. I mean, well,
-
I might blind the top of my head off.
-
You know, we have talked about those verses more than once.
-
This being a in time ministry, right right, I mean,
-
this isn't our first rodeo. Ladies and gentlemen, Please don't
-
think it's our first rodeo, because it's not. Zacharia five
-
When I turned and raised my eyes, and I saw
-
a flying scroll. And he said to me, what do
-
you see it? So I answered, I see a flying scroll.
-
It's linked is twenty cubits, and it's with ten cubits.
-
Then he said to me, this is the curse that
-
goes over the face of the whole earth. Every thief
-
shall be expelled according to the side of the scroll,
-
and every perjurer shall be expelled according to that side
-
of it.
-
And I will send out a curse. As the Lord
-
of host, it shall enter.
-
The house of the thief and the house of the
-
one who swears falsely by my name. It will remain
-
in the midst of his house and consume it with
-
its timber and stones. Then the angel who talked with
-
me came out and said to me, lift up your
-
eyes now and see what this is that goes forth.
-
So ask what is it.
-
He said, it is a basket that is going forth.
-
He said, this is their resemblance throughout the earth. Here
-
is a lead disc lifted up, and this is a
-
woman sitting inside the basket. Then he said, this is wickedness,
-
and he thrust her down into the basket and threw
-
a lead cover over its mouth.
-
Then I raised my eyes and looked, and.
-
There were two women coming with the wind in their wings,
-
for they had wings like the wings of the stork.
-
And they lifted up the basket between heaven, or between
-
Earth and heaven. So I said to the angel who
-
talked with me, where are they carrying the basket? And
-
he said to me to build a house for it
-
in the land a shnar. When it is ready, the
-
basket will be set there on its.
-
Base Ah, Yes, the wind in their wings.
-
But let's get back to let's get back to isaiahs
-
Chapter twenty four, shall we? I did it, but you
-
again didn't I jose.
-
Verse sixteen, Oh Lord, God of Israel, from the wings
-
of the land, we have heard wonders hope for the
-
pious one, and they will say, woe to you who
-
reject you, who reject the law.
-
You got to read that in Greek. You get this
-
narrative that.
-
You just get this narrative, that this idea is being
-
strung along that in the end, right before the end,
-
these are the reasons why the birthpags come.
-
On the Lord. He's God, and he's quite simply just
-
had it. He's had it. You know, this makes things
-
very dire.
-
Now I could just set right here and do a
-
complete commentary, because if you think this is the only
-
two ties in between Hoseiah chapter four and Isaiah twenty four,
-
you're grossly mistaken. These are tied together. Well, what is
-
the overall message here in Hoseah chapter four? Jose, what
-
what do you think he's trying to get at?
-
I mean, Matthew, it's pretty God kids are pretty simple
-
for us, right, do what is right, and all will
-
be well. But when it comes to you know, our
-
natural self, Matthew, we were always seeking how we can
-
do it better, how we can do it on our own,
-
because we don't trust in God. We don't believe that
-
He's going to provide for us. We don't believe that,
-
if you know, the mother stays at home and takes
-
care of the children, that the household needs will be met,
-
or those needs that God will provide us. We want more.
-
We want what Egypt has to offer, not not what
-
God himself is providing. We want those those cakes and
-
those fancy pastries that we used to get in Egypt.
-
We want that instead of you know, the bread from
-
heaven that God is offering us our daily bread, like
-
he tells us that he will provide. Right. We don't
-
want that, Matthew. We want more, and so because of
-
that we reject God's word and we seek, we seek
-
other ways of getting more, other ways of satisfying that appetite.
-
And we listen, Matthew, to those that those priests, those
-
prophets that tell us what we want to hear, and
-
we seek after that. And of course we know that
-
that is that is adultery, that is idolatry when we
-
engage in those types of beads, Matthew. There will come
-
a time, though, Matthew, where God's gonna put his foot
-
down and it's either put up or shut up. And
-
it's either going to be we follow after him, after
-
his law, after the be attitudes that were laid forth
-
by his son, Matthew, or we're gonna chase after after other.
-
We're gon we're gonna be that. We're gonna be the
-
the the adulters. We're gonna be the fornicators chasing after
-
things that are not from God. We're gonna reject God's word.
-
That's that's what I'm seeing here, Matthew. And I mean
-
we're you know, we're we're given all this language of immorality,
-
of prostitution, of adultery, you know. But God's God speaking
-
about us as as his bride, us as his you know,
-
he if he's our husband, then we're supposed to act
-
a certain way, Matthew. We can't be out there doing
-
what we want to do. We've got to follow his lead.
-
He is our head and we have to follow his
-
plan for us, which is for him for his son
-
to be our head so this is you know, it's again, Matthew,
-
this is not nothing new that we haven't read before,
-
but it's it's it is beautiful how how we're connecting
-
it to all these other chapters in the Bible, what
-
God has already said, what God has already told us,
-
and it's just reinforcing everything that he said before. Matthew,
-
it's a nothing. You hear nothing. You hear that that
-
you're revealing, Matthew, that that we have not read before.
-
Amen, A nothing we haven't read before.
-
You know, Jose, you got to saturate yourself with scripture,
-
don't you. Amen, Then you're able to grasp what's being
-
talked about and the severity of the consequences. Let's do
-
this verse sixty. Because Israel used to be a irritated
-
like an irritated heifer. Now the Lord will tend them
-
like a lamb.
-
In open space. Your thoughts, I.
-
Don't know what an irritated heifer is, Matthew, but I
-
know what a lamb in open space is. I know
-
how we've been told, how we're going to be taken
-
care of like that, like a shepherd tends his flock,
-
like you know the that once we're in his hand.
-
We will not be let go man. You and that
-
that to me, is telling us about the place that's
-
prepared for us, Matthew, where we're going to be. Where
-
we're going to be in that tabernacle of David, away
-
from everything once, once these things fall on the earth, Matthew,
-
that's what I see.
-
There no doubt, right, I mean, there's no doubt about
-
the sheep. But you're right, that's kind of strange. I mean,
-
an irritated heifer. That's that's kind of classic. It it peaks, well,
-
it piques your curiosity, right right, hmhmm. You probably should
-
check the Greek translation of that Jose if you ever
-
get the chance, because it's saying a whole lot more
-
than you think it's saying. Right, It's saying a lot
-
more than you think it's saying.
-
Yeah. The Hebrew calls it a stubborn calf, Matthew, which.
-
Well, you've got access to the Thompson Septuagent translation, don't
-
you not.
-
Right now, Matthew, my computer that I have that on
-
is on the fritz.
-
Okay, pull that up right now. All right, Well, I'll
-
read it to you.
-
This is what the Thompson translation of the Subtrusian says,
-
because Israel ran about madly like a heifer stung by
-
a goldfly, the Lord will now feed them like a
-
lamb in a roomy place.
-
Say scratched his head? What what do you just say?
-
What does that mean? What could that mean? But you're right,
-
you are right about the lamb part. You know what
-
that means.
-
Amen, Amen, there is.
-
No doubt what that means.
-
No doubt.
-
So let's try this out of the new English translation
-
of the Septuagint. Let's try maybe maybe this should shed
-
some light. For like a frenzied heifer, Israel went into
-
a frenzy. Now the Lord will feed them like a
-
lamb in a broad place. Now I've really got your attention,
-
don't I. You need to translate this for yourself. You
-
need to look at it because it's it's complicated enough that.
-
It takes wisdom. Do you understand that?
-
Amen?
-
One things for sure?
-
He is very clear that it's Israel that will be
-
undergoing the transport right right, Yes, he's very clear, he says,
-
because Israel, right.
-
The So what does it say about Judah? Read verse fifteen?
-
But you o Israel do not be ignorant, and you,
-
oh Judah, do not enter into Gilgal, and do not
-
go up into the house of beth Avon, and do
-
not swear by the Living Lord.
-
We've talked about this many times, right, I mean, they
-
are just two types, right, There's only two types that
-
can enter into the New Covenant, just two types, first
-
for the Jew.
-
And then everybody else.
-
Right, right, Who does the New test of Men say
-
is Israel? Jose, who's Israel?
-
That's Christians, Matthew, Jews and Gentiles.
-
That's right, Jews and Gentiles, because the Jews that enter
-
into the New Covenant become Christians. Do you know that
-
Judah was only one of the twelve tribes of Israel?
-
Jose?
-
Amen? Amen?
-
Why do all the Christian Zionists have it the other
-
way around? For some reason they think that we Christians
-
are going to be reintegrated into the tribe of Judah.
-
I don't know, but that is how they play it,
-
no doubt about it. So you do need to know this,
-
that Judah was the tribe that would produce the monarchy
-
that the rest of Israel would follow.
-
Right.
-
So literally he's coming out and telling you this is
-
the leaders.
-
Of Israel.
-
You know, I've probably ruffled some feathers with some people,
-
so I'm just going to go and read the new Covenant.
-
It's really easy to remember. It's Jeremiah thirty one, starting
-
in verse thirty one. Now that's pretty easy to memorize,
-
right ose, Yep, it's Jeremiah thirty one thirty one. Behold,
-
the days are coming, Saith the Lord, when I will
-
make a new covenant with the House of Israel and
-
the House of Judah, not according to the covenant which
-
I made their fathers on the day when I took
-
them by the hand to bring them out of the
-
land of Egypt. Because they did not abide by this
-
covenant of mine. Therefore I took no care of them.
-
For this, Saith the Lord, is my covenant which I
-
will make with the House of Israel after those days.
-
I take moment.
-
He didn't bring it up by saying in the house
-
of Judah, so you need to understand that by verse
-
thirty three, you're supposed to know Judah will be integrated
-
into Israel. Anyway, let me continue after those days, Saith
-
the Lord, I will adapt my laws to their understanding
-
and write them on their hearts, and I will be
-
their God, and they shall be my people. And they
-
shall no more teach every man his neighbor and every
-
man his brother, saying no, Lord, for all will know me,
-
from the greatest to the least of them. For I
-
will be merciful to their iniquities, and no more remember
-
their sins. There's only one way, and there's only one
-
New Covenant, just one. It amazes me how most people
-
forget where this is quoted by the Lord Jesus Christ.
-
Blows me away.
-
It amazes me how they really do forget what it says.
-
How what the Lord Jesus Christ exactly what he said?
-
This is really easy to remember too. Matthew twenty six,
-
twenty six. Okay, so how much of you or could
-
you get? Jeremiah thirty one thirty one and Matthew twenty
-
six twenty six.
-
Now, as they were eating, Jesus taking the loaf.
-
Mounts the blessing broke and gave his disciples and said,
-
take eat.
-
This is my body.
-
Then, having taken the cup and giving thanks, he gave
-
it to them, saying Greek, ye all of it, for
-
this is my blood, that of the New Covenant that.
-
Shed for many for the remissions of sin. There's only
-
one way.
-
Through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ is
-
to passover lamb Amen.
-
Jose, Amen Matthew.
-
It is the Lord's passover.
-
That has a different meaning now. Before it was just
-
to passover. Now it's the Lord's passover because he sacrificed himself.
-
Write these two things down and research them. Fulfillment theology
-
and Covenant theology. You cannot build your e schatology off
-
of no other things. If you don't know fulfillment theology
-
and covenant theology, you will do nothing but chase your tail.
-
I've pointed out things to you tonight to get your attention,
-
to try to get you to dig into the scripture.
-
But I'm telling you, if you seek, you will find.
-
Is that not the truth?
-
Hose Amen, Matthew it is.
-
When you started participating in this ministry, did you have
-
a clue what the Hebrew or the Greek said? Absolutely none, Matthew,
-
And now no one can take it from you.
-
Can I?
-
Amen? Amen?
-
Thank us out of here in prayer.
-
Jose, dear heavenly Father whom we love and serve, I
-
thank you personally for allowing me and my Brother, to
-
gather here and to share your word with your ecclesia,
-
with your church, with your people that are around this world. Lord,
-
today I pray for that good shepherd that still remembers
-
your word, that still teaches your word, that follows your
-
law and instructs your people in that law. Lord, None
-
of us would be here today if you had not
-
planted those good shepherds in our path, if those good
-
shepherds were not there to show us what you have
-
to say, to show us your commandments, and to show
-
us the love and the beatitude shared by your son.
-
So Lord, I asked that those good shepherds outshine those
-
bad shepherds. That if those good shepherds are there, that
-
you may guide them and keep them true to your word, Lord,
-
that they reject their will and follow your will. And Lord,
-
I also ask that you put in the hearts of
-
your people who still hearken to your word, that they
-
do not fall under the spell of those bad shepherds,
-
that they themselves do not go after their will, but
-
after your will. Father. And I asked that while there
-
is still time, your Holy Spirit may enter the hearts
-
of those good shepherds and to enter the hearts of
-
your people, so that we may remain steadfast. Asked until
-
you're coming, Lord, that will remember that you have promised
-
that your son will return, and we'll set everything right
-
the Lord. Until that time, I asked that you continue
-
to allow us to pray together, to read your word together,
-
and to come together as your body, so that we
-
may seek after the lost Lord, and that we may
-
help each other until you return. I ask all this
-
in the name of your Son, our Lord and Savior,
-
Jesus Christ. Amen, Amen and Amen.
-
Until next time, And gentlemen DoD blesst Speak.
