  4. and the life of all. Give us wisdom by your law and

  5. enlighten our impulses by Your knowledge.

  7. obedient to Your words and may fulfil Your commandments at

  8. every hour. O You who enlightens the

  9. rational with the knowledge of Your greatness, do enlight, O my

  10. Lord, our thoughts, that we may meditate upon Your holy and

  11. divine Scriptures at all times. O Lord of all, Father and Son

  12. and Holy Spirit, forever. Amen.

  13. The 1963 song by Leslie Gore that's taking you guys back.

  14. You know, it's before I was born as well.

  15. But 1963 song by Leslie Gore. It's my party and I'll cry if I

  16. want to. It's my party, you know.

  17. Yeah. Now that has to me.

  18. That has two significant points. The 1st is my.

  19. That is mine. And if I want to, it's my party.

  20. I'll cry if I want to. They are authoritative words.

  21. They are blunt words and true. It's mine.

  22. I do as I please. Now things brings us to what we

  23. are going to discuss today. And it's from the Gospel

  24. according to the preaching of Saint Matthew.

  25. That is the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ according to the

  26. preaching of Saint Matthew, chapter 20, verse 15.

    Matthew 20:15

  27. Jesus says do I can do whatever I want to do with my own.

  28. Now let me give you a brief this description a the story behind

  29. this. It's the parable of the workers

  30. in the field. Some went out 6:00 in the

  31. morning and they were promised to be given one Dinari.

  32. Let's, let's bring it to today, $200.

  33. And then the, the landlord, the landowner went out at 9:00 AM

  34. and saw people hanging out, chilling out, waiting for

  35. someone to hire them. And he hired them and said, I'll

  36. give you 100 Dinari. Then he went out 12 PM, 12 noon

  37. and he did the same, went out at 3:00 PM, did the same and went

  38. out at 5:00 PM and he did the same.

  39. And at 6:00 PM, after 12 hours, he calls his servants and says

  40. call all the employees and give them what they have been

  41. promised. Start from the last to the

  42. first. Now the last came who only

  43. worked one hour, remember just one hour and they got the $100

  44. or $200 we promised, right? I'm glad I'm not the landowner.

  45. They got the $200. Now those who worked for 12

  46. hours thought great, that must be over $1000.

  47. But they too received $200.00. And they started grumbling and

  48. murmuring and saying what is this?

  49. This is not fair. This is outright not fair, This

  50. is robbery. But the landowner prays me to

  51. his name, resembling Jesus, says, my friend, listen, let me

  52. tell you something. Did we not agree to a contract,

  53. agree to a payment that you work all day, I'll pay you $200.00.

  54. So there's your $200. I'm not doing any evil to you.

  55. I want to give this last person $200.

  56. Then he says, are you evil? Are you bitter because I'm good?

  57. There's goodness coming out of me.

  58. Or Jesus says, can I not do whatever I want to do with what

  59. is mine? It's my field, you're my

  60. employees, it's my money, and I'll do what I want to do with

  61. them. So let me now pose your

  62. question. What in the world that we see

  63. and cannot see tangible and intangible, comprehensible and

  64. incomprehensible, speakable and unspeakable, Fathomable or

  65. unfathomable? What in this world, in those

  66. categories doesn't belong to God?

  67. You tell me. Let me blow your minds a little.

  68. As a matter of fact, even evil. Yes.

  69. Oh, Rabi, how can you say that? No, no, no, I don't say the

  70. Scriptures say it. But there's a perfect reason and

  71. there's a there's an interpretation.

  72. Thank God for the church. Thank God for the life of the

  73. church, the framework of the church.

  74. Thank God for the church fathers, even evil.

  75. In Isaiah chapter 45 verse 7, we read, for He formed light and he

    Isaiah 45:7

  76. created darkness. Now listen, He formed light and

  77. created darkness. So because he formed light,

  78. darkness was created. We're going to talk about that.

  79. So for he formed light and he created darkness.

  80. He made peace and he created evil.

  81. Is Isaiah erring here? He that is God made peace and

  82. created evil. I am the Lord God, I who have

  83. done all these things. Now let's come to my favorite

  84. church fathers, one of my favorite Saint John Chrysostom.

  85. We call him Johannan Pommedawa, John the mouth, the golden

  86. mouth. Look at what he comments.

  87. God said through the prophets, I, God, am making peace and

  88. creating evils. See the key is in making and

  89. creating. And he goes on to say what sort

  90. of evils? Captivity, servitude, that is

  91. bondage and things like that. Not fornication, not sex out of

  92. marriage, not a homosexual relationship.

  93. No, no, not not licentiousness, that is wastefulness, not

  94. avarice, that is greed and anything like that.

  95. He goes on to say do not let the false prophets undermine you.

  96. That is the government's today. Do not let the false prophets

  97. undermine you. God can give you peace and

  98. consign, that is, entrust you to captivity, which is the meaning

  99. of making peace and creating evils for you to learn.

  100. He goes on to say for you to learn that this is true.

  101. Let us make a precise examination of the individual

  102. expressions after saying before, that is, before he said I made

  103. evil. He says I am the one who brought

  104. light and darkness into being. He then went on to say making

  105. peace and creating evils. He cited 2 opposite 1st and then

  106. two opposites after. That is for you to learn that he

  107. is referring not to fornication but to calamities and to

  108. disasters. He goes on to say I mean what is

  109. said as the opposite of peace. Clearly captivity, not

  110. wastefulness, no fornication or greed.

  111. So just as he cited 2 opposites first, so too in these causes.

  112. So he's saying when he says I created good or I made good,

  113. automatically evil is created. That's all.

  114. We're going to talk about that because I've I've, I've

  115. mentioned that Isaiah that says God has created evil.

  116. I want to clarify it also. Other church fathers comment and

  117. say evil is also the punishment of sin through the law.

  118. Now when does sin become in existence?

  119. When is sin actually committed? When law is broken or disobeyed?

  120. So when the law came, Saint Paul comments on this sin then came.

  121. So God didn't create sin. God created the law, which

  122. automatically brings sin. So God didn't create evil as in

  123. evil. Let me give you an example when

  124. you're traveling, and I've given this before.

  125. Let me share it again. I think this is a great example.

  126. Let's copyright it. Stephen trademarket.

  127. Asha Gennad's a great example. When you're traveling on a

  128. street and there's no signs, there's no Rd. signs at all, you

  129. can do as you can drive as fast as you you want, as fast as you

  130. please, and you're not committed in crime.

  131. There's no crime. Now, naturally, yes, naturally,

  132. and that's another story. But naturally, yeah, it's bad,

  133. it's wrong. But according to the law of

  134. speeding and the law of driving, there's no crime.

  135. But as soon as that sign, that speed sign of 50 or 45 or

  136. whatever it is, is posted and you drive 100, then there is

  137. there is a crime. So and then there is a

  138. punishment of crime. So that sign which the

  139. government has placed on the road has also placed the

  140. punishment, the evil of the crime itself.

  141. I think you understand what I'm saying.

  142. So let's get to back, back back to it's my party and I'll cry if

  143. I want. You see, beloved, everything

  144. belongs to God, everything belongs to God is held by God

  145. through His Son Jesus Christ, being God by nature, true God of

  146. true God being God by nature, by power and by authority.

  147. He poses this question to all of us.

  148. Can I not do as I please with my own?

  149. Now that answers many questions and puts us in our places in a

  150. spiritual check when we ask God why?

  151. Why? Let's do that, let's ask God.

  152. Join me in asking God a few questions and you may have your

  153. own, but I pray that these answers will answer your

  154. question. Why must I obey you?

  155. Oh God, why? If we read scriptures, listen to

  156. our conscience and our mind, maybe not even read scriptures,

  157. but the law of nature, the conscience will say because you

  158. are mine. God is saying, why must you obey

  159. God? Because you are gods.

  160. He created you from dirt. God created me from dirt.

  161. God is saying I created you from dirt.

  162. You cannot come from nothing. Guys, let's not be fooled by

  163. this stupidity, this ridiculous law that something came from

  164. nothing. It's proven that it's wrong.

  165. It's a theory. It's an inconsistent theory.

  166. For the past 7008 thousand years, it's constantly changing

  167. because it's inconsistent. Let me tell you what is

  168. consistent for six to 7000 or maybe 10,000 year years.

  169. Genesis chapter 2, verse seven, the first part and the Lord God

    Genesis 2 chapter mention

  170. formed Adam from the dust, from the soil.

  171. And look at what our disobedient did.

  172. So I created you. I made you, you are mine.

  173. Now if that's not good enough, God is saying I made you a

  174. living soul. I could have kept you as a as a

  175. fashion dirt, a body made of dirt and no life a lifeless

  176. dirt. I could have done that.

  177. But I breathed in your face the breath of life.

  178. I gave you that life. Not 2 molecules out shopping,

  179. colliding and an explosion happened and then life came.

  180. No, no, no. I gave you that life.

  181. Genesis chapter 2, verse 7, second part of that verse.

    Genesis 2:7

  182. I breathed into his face, God breathed into his face, breath

  183. of life and Adam was a living soul.

  184. I gave you life. You are mine and you

  185. transgressed and I planned your planned, your reinstatement,

  186. your redemption. I came down and took on your

  187. flesh. I took on death.

  188. I died and I overcame death for you all for you.

  189. So when I do what I want to do with you, through you, by you,

  190. which is mine, I do it for your own good.

  191. It's all for your good. Why am I restricted with what I

  192. can do with my own wisdom? You know we always confess to

  193. the Lord in our frailty, in our foolishness.

  194. In truth, Oh my Lord, we are not worthy.

  195. Have mercy upon us, Oh my Lord, for we are not worthy through

  196. our frailty because of our foolishness.

  197. Why? Why am I restricted to brag

  198. about my fool wisdom and to do what I want to do with my

  199. wisdom? Because God will answer.

  200. It wasn't your wisdom from the beginning.

  201. Don't brag about your wisdom. It's not yours.

  202. I gave it to you along with knowledge and along with

  203. understanding. Grace upon grace.

  204. Proverbs chapter 2, verse 6. For your good, I gave you

    Proverbs 2:6

  205. wisdom. So today you can make a car,

  206. right, Steven? In two years time, it's going to

  207. be a cab. It's a Tesla.

  208. You can buy it for $30,000. You can use it and there's no

  209. steering wheels there because the car drives by itself.

  210. You can use it for your own personal use or you can rent it

  211. out. And yeah, people can hire the

  212. cab, right? I gave you that wisdom, not Elon

  213. Musk. God bless you.

  214. It wasn't your wisdom. It wasn't it was God who gave

  215. you that wisdom. God gave us that wisdom.

  216. That's why we are restricted because you know what I just

  217. mentioned? It's great.

  218. I love it. Now, I don't know how safe it

  219. is. That's that's another story.

  220. But I love that. I love to see man succeed in

  221. technology for good, for good. I like social medias, Beloved.

  222. Look at what we're doing through these mediums.

  223. We're preaching the word of God. We're bringing people to

  224. understand, to know their creator.

  225. Look at what we do through Instagrams, through Facebooks,

  226. through Snapchats. I have all of those through

  227. Twitter. Do people still use Twitter?

  228. They do, right? Yeah, through Twitter.

  229. What else is this now? There's there's a lot more

  230. things now. Sorry, tick ticked.

  231. Oh, no, no, I don't have ticked, unfortunately.

  232. Look at what we do through this. Yes, people use it for evil.

  233. That's the wisdom God doesn't want you to use.

  234. He restricts you don't use it for evil.

  235. You don't need to take a picture of your body and your and your

  236. dress and say this is my dress. Well, congratulations.

  237. God bless you, Brachta, Brachta. Why do you want me to show me?

  238. Show me your dress. Talk to me about your life.

  239. Talk to me about your your, your experience with God.

  240. Use your wisdom, your knowledge, your understanding for good, not

  241. for evil, because God uses you who are His property, because He

  242. bought you by that precious blood of His Son Jesus Christ

  243. for good. Why am I restricted with what I

  244. can do with my knowledge and wisdom?

  245. Well spoke about that. God gave it to you.

  246. Why can't I do as I please with my body?

  247. My body? We've already ascertained that

  248. because I fashioned it again from dirt.

  249. It's not yours. You didn't make it.

  250. I made it. Well, my parents.

  251. Yeah. Your parents.

  252. Yeah. Birds and the bees.

  253. Yeah, your parents made it. But keep going.

  254. Where did your parents come from?

  255. Keep going and going and going. Then you come to the flood and

  256. you go post flood and pre flood and you keep going.

  257. Adam and Eve. God made them, Adam and Eve.

  258. I created you, God said with XX chromosomes.

  259. My dear sisters, I created you with that.

  260. It was perfect. I created you with XY

  261. chromosomes, my dear brothers, I fashioned you.

  262. I designed and instructed it in a way that is great for my

  263. beloved sisters, our dear females.

  264. I gave you uteruses for childbearing so that you can be

  265. a part of me. Something from you will come,

  266. even the the the the male. Something comes from you.

  267. You become a creator. You give life.

  268. Just just as I am the fountain of life.

  269. Through you there's life. I gave you breasts to produce

  270. milk for child suckling. I'm not going to keep going with

  271. that because they may be underage listeners, but you get

  272. the point. I made you and I made you

  273. perfect. I have every right to use you

  274. and what you have, what I've given you for His glory and for

  275. your good. For your good.

  276. All of it is mine. I can do and demand as I please

  277. with it. I can do what I please with you.

  278. God is telling us be grateful beloved brothers and sisters, be

  279. grateful and take heart that God is good.

  280. Be grateful and take heart that God can do anything with you

  281. because all that he does, as I said, is good.

  282. Hence all He created was good as we read in Genesis chapter one

  283. verse 31, chapter 131. Yes, good, actually perfect

  284. Psalm chapter 100, Psalm 100 verse 5.

Psalms 100 chapter mention Psalms 100:5

  285. The Lord God is good and his grace is for eternity and his

  286. faithfulness for a generation of generations.

  287. So I want God to use me as he pleases because he is good.

  288. Nothing evil will come from God. Nothing.

  289. The only evil has to say this God cleanse me to come from God

  290. is when he tells me don't because when I do that's the

  291. evil that's created from what God has made me not to do what I

  292. do how I do and when I do with what is mine is always good and

  293. pleasing says the Lord God all good for you.

  294. Why because he loves you. He loves us beloved.

  295. Look at what he's telling you and I come on stop here we go.

  296. Stop, pull over to one side and stop your vacuuming stop your

  297. diaper changing. Stop doing what you're doing.

  298. Please. Please not for God's sake, for

  299. our sake, for our knowledge and understanding.

  300. Please listen, honey, Linda, listen.

  301. Please listen to what Isaiah chapter 49 verse 6 is telling

    Isaiah 49:6

  302. us. God is telling us, Behold, on

  303. the palms of my hands. I have engraved you on the palm

  304. of my hands. You see all who believe in

  305. Christ, you do say it. Do you say it to yourself?

  306. Say what I mean, yes, I do. You believe in Christ while you

  307. are in the hands of the Father. So let him do what he pleases.

  308. Don't grumble because it's good. Now in the case of death, you

  309. know this is the most difficult circumstance in life.

  310. You know when I think one thing that may ease pain and help to

  311. understand and come to our understanding and acceptance of

  312. death is that remind ourselves from whom was life in the 1st

  313. place? Who gave us life who go back to

  314. Genesis, it was God, praise and glory be to his name.

  315. Look at what we have. What do you have?

  316. You have wealth, you have wealth, your stocks did well

  317. last night. Praise God you sold many houses

  318. within the month. Praise God you have wealth.

  319. May the Lord replenish it and multiply it a hundredfold.

  320. You know, when we pray on a a bride and a groom, we pray that

  321. God will increase the bride and the groom in health, wealth and

  322. faith. Wealth.

  323. Yeah, so that you can do good because it's his, it's not

  324. yours. And when you do good, don't take

  325. pride, don't brag about it. It's not yours.

  326. It's God's right. What is it?

  327. Wealth, health, material, children, etcetera.

  328. These are all provisions from God and he can use them as he

  329. pleases. Let me ask you a question again.

  330. Is not free will from God as well, you know, And that's a

  331. gift of independence, right? Yeah, I'm free.

  332. I'm free. I'm free will who gave you free

  333. will who who created you with free will, with rationale and

  334. you know, understanding for you to choose who got Yes, yes, God

  335. did. And yet God at times so rightly

  336. so meet in perfect and fitting interferes with our will.

  337. Now some will say, well, well, where's the where's the loving

  338. God who's interfering with my free will?

  339. Well, if you pay attention, God interferes for good.

  340. Remember our beloved Jonah the prophet.

  341. You know all Assyrians must remember Jonah the prophet,

  342. Jonah Yonan, right? And all Assyrians should that be

  343. grateful. He didn't want to go to Assyria.

  344. He didn't want to go to Nineveh. No, he wanted to see Nineveh

  345. destroyed, right? When God, when God returned and,

  346. and and showed mercy on the city of Nineveh, he was, he was such

  347. a grumbling. He wasn't happy, right?

  348. What did God do? He didn't want to go.

  349. There's his free will, but God caused him to go.

  350. God put him on a boat and there was a storm and he knew.

  351. He said, listen, throw me out, throw me out in the water.

  352. And then the whale swallowed him and and the story goes on,

  353. right? Yeah, God can interfere with

  354. your free will, of course, because he gave you that free

  355. will. And when he sees that your free

  356. will is being used for evil, you know, pray to the Lord.

  357. Lord, I pray. Now let let this be our prayer

  358. point. Now, if you've parked to one

  359. side and you're at home, bow your heads.

  360. Let's pray. Lord, Lord, we surrender our

  361. free will to You. When we are using it for evil.

  362. We surrender, Render it to You so that you can interfere and

  363. take over and use it for good, just as you did with Jonah your

  364. prophet. Having a God that is good,

  365. gracious, and full of mercy, we should at all times commit all

  366. that we have from Him to Him to do as He pleases.

  367. Let us not murmur, beloved. Let us not murmur, grunt, and

  368. complain when Christ does as He pleases with what is His.

  369. Let us not think evil because He is good.

  370. Let us humble ourselves before Him that we may receive the

  371. promise of exaltation by Him. Let us glorify Him at all times,

  372. surrending, surrendering all of our life into His perfect hands.

  373. Praise and glory be to His name, now and at all times and

  374. forever. Amen.
