  1. But can I just tell you, you don't have a money problem.

  2. You have a flow blockage.

  3. You don't have a mental problem.

  4. You have a flow blockage.

  5. You see, the flow is there.

  6. The resources there, the access is there.

  7. Everything you need, the provision, the Holy Spirit, it's

  8. all there.

  9. But you've got a blockage.

  10. When Daniel was in Babylon, exiled, he didn't have a prophetic

  11. problem because God had already released the word.

  12. It's just that the Prince of Persia, which, as we know was a ruling

  13. demonic spirit, was atmospherically preventing that word

  14. from getting to Daniel.

  15. And then God had to send one of his baddest angels, who just happened

  16. to go under the name Michael.

  17. And Michael had to actually do warfare to release the word that

  18. was already given.

  19. So sometimes you don't have what God already gave you because

  20. in transit from God to you, it got blocked.

  21. But I'm here, like a physical, Michael, to do some warfare on your

  22. behalf, to remove some blockages for you, to get to you.

  23. What God has for you.

  24. God's got something for you.

  25. Some of you, like God, give it to me.

  26. God's like, I already released it.

  27. But the kingdom of heaven suffers violent.

  28. But the violent take it by force.

  29. I already gave it to you.

  30. I gave you what you're asking for, but you got to go out there

  31. and fight for it.

  32. Oh, I'm not afraid to fight for it.

  33. Somebody say, I'm removing the blockage.

  34. I'm removing the blockage.

  35. See, before the new covenant, God sent an angel to do the warfare.

  36. And then after the new covenant of his blood, he commissioned

  37. you to do the warfare.

  38. That's why you have the full armor of God.

  39. Because the first time Michael did it, but this time, you're gonna

  40. do it.

  41. I got any fighters here?

  42. I got any spiritual assassins here?

  43. Do I got anybody?

  44. Like, I ain't no punk.

  45. I wasn't a punk in the street, so I'm not gonna be a punk in the

  46. spirit.

  47. Come on, y'all, hear what I'm saying.

  48. I wasn't a punk in the streets.

  49. I'm not going to be a punk in the spirit.

  50. Somebody's like, this pastor is gangster.

  51. Okay, let me break the scriptures down for you briefly.

  52. We're going to look at John, chapter 7, verse 38 now, but let's

    John 7:38

  53. unpack it.

  54. John, chapter 37, verse 38.

  55. Now, when you read the Bible, if you read the Bible like you eat,

  56. sometimes you eat for hunger and don't eat for taste.

  57. And so have you ever eaten something and not even realized what

  58. it tasted like.

  59. So sometimes when people read the Bible, they're reading it for

  60. hunger, not for taste.

  61. Ideally, you would do both.

  62. You know, you ever tell your kids, chew your food.

  63. Chew your food.

  64. You ever see them?

  65. Okay, so we're gonna take a moment and take a familiar passage,

  66. but give you an unfamiliar new revelation.

  67. Whoever believes in me, as the scripture said, out of his heart.

  68. Whose heart?

  69. Yeah, he's talking about us.

  70. Will flow, not might, not.

  71. Maybe will flow rivers.

  72. Okay, let me ask you a question.

  73. Is it will flow a river, or is it will flow rivers, plural?

  74. Okay, some of you right now, your whole life, you've been quoting

  75. that sermon and have never realized it's plural, not singular.

  76. Because when I say out of the heart will flow rivers of living

  77. water, sometimes we think about it as a river.

  78. I want you to see it as streams.

  79. Right now, rivers, plural.

  80. And I want to submit to you the idea that it might be possible.

  81. Just like your physical body, you don't have a vein.

  82. You have veins.

  83. You have rivers of blood.

  84. Y'all picking up on what I'm putting down?

  85. You have rivers of blood.

  86. So it's not a blockage.

  87. Sometimes it's multiple blockages that we have, multiple

  88. restriction that we have that could be our undoing.

  89. And so I believe that there's many rivers in your life, and the

  90. Lord wants to flow all those rivers.

  91. I've met people that can love God but not love their spouse.

  92. None of them are here.

  93. Jules.

  94. We're good.

  95. Probably Miami campus.

  96. I got you Brooklyn.

  97. But I've met people that can prophesy over my wife, but not their

  98. own.

  99. So one river is open, but one river is blocked.

  100. Oh, come on.

  101. I'm trying to talk to somebody.

  102. Or I know some people who can serve God with their talent, and

  103. they can serve God with their time, but they can never serve God

  104. with their treasure.

  105. So it's like, oh, I'm generous.

  106. I'll show up early and I'll leave late, but don't you dare ask

  107. me to give my money.

  108. So two out of the three rivers are open, but one river's blocked.

  109. Okay, Is this helping you?

  110. So rivers of living water.

  111. Now, I want to break this down, because there are three things

  112. that block the flow of living water.

  113. Three things.

  114. Number one, for the note takers, a hardened heart.

  115. A hardened heart blocks the flow of water in your life.

  116. It blocks the flow of water in your life.

  117. Now, I want to tell you a story about a man named Nabal.

  118. Now, Nabal might have well been a New Yorker.

  119. Here's what I like about Nabal.

  120. Nabal was a hard working man.

  121. Nabal would go out every day and he would fight through traffic.

  122. Just stay with me.

  123. He would fight through traffic.

  124. He would commute to his job and back.

  125. Nabal was a good man.

  126. He took care of his children, he took care of his wife.

  127. I mean, Nabal was a Jets fan.

  128. Nabal, he liked the Knicks, you know, he was definitely a Knicks

  129. guy.

  130. Not a Nets guy.

  131. Nabal, okay, they're not with me here, but Nabal was a good man

  132. by everyone's account.

  133. But what happens is sometimes the harder you work for yourself

  134. to provide for your family, you can limit an understanding of

  135. the fullness of what God has.

  136. So sometimes it's not necessarily that you're selfish,

  137. but you're so hardworking, you might start saying things like, I'm

  138. gonna take care of my own, I'm gonna take care of myself.

  139. All these people living off the government.

  140. I work hard for what?

  141. I'm saying it to the wall.

  142. I work hard for myself.

  143. I ain't gonna pay their bills.

  144. Have you heard statements like that?

  145. What happens is usually those things are the reflection of somebody

  146. who's saying, hey, I love people.

  147. I just really love my own people.

  148. I love people.

  149. I just love my own people.

  150. And it doesn't necessarily mean that they're selfish.

  151. It just means there's levels of generosity.

  152. And their family might know them as the most selfless person,

  153. but the world knew them as the most selfish.

  154. Because one river can be open, one river can be blocked.

  155. So Nabal, in a lot of ways, is an honorable man, but he dealt with

  156. something in his corazon.

  157. Am I saying that right?

  158. See, I'm getting ready for Wednesday.

  159. Okay, let me read the Scriptures to you.

  160. And I thinned it out for the sake of time.

  161. I'm just going to give you the narrative so you can read and hear

  162. this with me.

  163. I want you to look at 1st Samuel 25, verse 10.

  164. And Nabal answered, david's servants.

  165. Who's David?

  166. Who's the son of Jesse?

  167. Who does this fool think he is up in here, huh?

  168. Who's this guy?

  169. That's literally the what he's saying.

  170. If you read the text, it's the same attitude.

  171. Who's this guy?

  172. Who does this guy think he is?

  173. Who's this guy?

  174. Who's the son of Jesse?

  175. Who's David?

  176. There are many.

  177. I'm about to get in so much trouble.

  178. There's many servants these days who are breaking away from their

  179. masters.

  180. Shall I Take my bread and my.

  181. My, my.

  182. Look.

  183. He says my three times.

  184. Shall I take my bread and my water and my meat and give it to

  185. men from who?

  186. I don't know where they're from.

  187. Look at the text.

  188. I'm barely even adding to it.

  189. He says, it's my bread, my water, and my meat.

  190. Here's the problem.

  191. When I first showed up to New York, who does this guy think he

  192. is?

  193. Everybody's starting churches.

  194. He's probably lazy and doesn't want to work.

  195. What?

  196. You want me to give my money to you, bro?

  197. I would get up to do the offering, and I would literally go

  198. home and there would already be people on Facebook.

  199. Yeah, the dude took four minutes to ask me for my money.

  200. Might as well mugged me.

  201. I'm like, well, as far as I'm concerned, we are giving our money

  202. to God.

  203. But that mindset, who does this church think they are?

  204. Oh, yeah, you go to V1, they only want your money while they're

  205. sipping on a Bud Light that they gave their money to a multinational

  206. company while they ordered their Uber eats that's coming from

  207. another company while they work for another company that takes

  208. advantage of other people while their whole life is compromised.

  209. But heaven forbid you give your money to the church, and then

  210. while they type in that on Facebook, they go over and open up

  211. the lottery app and give to the lottery for years.

  212. So they spent $300 on meaningless stuff the day they told

  213. you they're mad cause you gave $50 in an offering.

  214. What kind of spirit is that?

  215. Who does this guy think he is?

  216. That's.

  217. But Nabal did that to David.

  218. He literally did that to King David.

  219. And I'm trying to make light of it because I don't think that

  220. Nabal was an evil man.

  221. But I think what happened was he wasn't understanding kingdom principles,

  222. and he didn't realize, you can't hurt David because David is

  223. doing the will of Kingdom God.

  224. But you have an opportunity to sow into David, and you will end

  225. up reaping more.

  226. And so you.

  227. You.

  228. You're.

  229. You're blocking yourself.

  230. Because what happened was David was going to and doing all

  231. these military strategic things, and he was conquering different

  232. armies for the Lord.

  233. David was not doing his own plan.

  234. He was doing God's will.

  235. But what happened was, while he was in the journey of doing that,

  236. his men got hungry, his men were tired, and David said, well,

  237. go ask Nabal to send his supplies to me.

  238. So that way, all of these men who are fighting for the people of

  239. Israel can be fed so we can go do more warfare.

  240. So David wasn't asking, hey, Nabal, we're going to all go on vacation.

  241. Can you lay out a buffet for us and give us back massages while

  242. we're out laying down?

  243. What David was saying is, bro, we're killing all the enemies of

  244. Israel right now, but we're hungry.

  245. Can you help feed us?

  246. And so in a lot of ways, when I first showed up to New York, it's

  247. like I live in an apartment the size of this stage.

  248. I make less than $50,000 a year with a family of four, no health

  249. benefits.

  250. I cashed out my retirement and I sold my four bedroom house with

  251. a half acre backyard to have no parking spot in these streets.

  252. I'm not asking you for money so I can be rich.

  253. I'm asking you to sow into God's will so I can keep assassinating

  254. demons and making disciples and lead the lost to the cross at

  255. any.

  256. And a lot of the feedback in those days was like, who do you think

  257. you are?

  258. And you know what's sad is some of those people left the church.

  259. And the thing is, I didn't suffer.

  260. V.1 church lodged another campus and another one, and another

  261. one.

  262. And we filled a stadium and we made a movie and the movie was in

  263. theaters three times.

  264. I didn't suffer.

  265. Why?

  266. Because the favor of God, it's not on me.

  267. The favor of God is on his will.

  268. And if I do his will, the favor starts splashing on me.

  269. And so the thing is, it's not about who's right, it's about who's

  270. in the will, who's doing the Lord's will.

  271. So I was like, I'm here to lead as many people to the cross

  272. before I die.

  273. And I know that God will provision that mission.

  274. And I'm not asking you to give to me, but I'm asking you to give

  275. to the house of God.

  276. And I felt like when I would go back to the story of Nabal, it

  277. would help me.

  278. But let me just tell you what happened, because this is deep.

  279. This is deep.

  280. This is what it said.

  281. It says.

  282. But one of the young men told Abigail, Nabal's wife, behold, David

  283. sent the messengers out to the wilderness to greet your master.

  284. And he railed at him.

  285. He went off on him.

  286. This is first Samuel 25:14.

    1 Samuel 25:14

  287. Then Abigail made haste and took 200 loaves and two skins of

  288. wine and five sheep already prepared, and five season parched

  289. grain and hundred clusters of raisins, and 200 cakes of figs and

  290. 13 chopped cheeses and 12 Burger King.

  291. I'm just kidding.

  292. But she basically started loading up with all the food because

  293. she realized, oh no, my husband messed up.

  294. And how many wives feel like they have to see in the spirit?

  295. For a carnal husband who can't see in the spirit, Abigail knows

  296. exactly what it's like.

  297. Abigail had to fix a situation that her testosterone driven, fleshly,

  298. carnal husband created because he couldn't see that God was laying

  299. an opportunity in disguised as generosity.

  300. God was laying an opportunity disguised as generosity, but the

  301. husband couldn't see it.

  302. And man, I want to talk to you because I'm trying to honor you,

  303. not dishonor you.

  304. And I don't want you to be mad at me.

  305. That's why I gave a very thorough character description to

  306. Nabal that although I can't prove it biblically, I have a pretty

  307. good context for.

  308. He clearly had a lot to give.

  309. The only way you have a lot to give is if you earn a lot.

  310. So the guy was a hard worker.

  311. But can I tell you, in all my years of pastoring, it has been more

  312. often than not statistically, and this is my experience, it's been

  313. the woman wanting to be generous and give to the local church,

  314. and it's been the husband getting extremely angry and fighting

  315. the wife over it.

  316. And that same husband will go and spend all kinds of money.

  317. And even if they don't spend the money, sometimes they just feel

  318. like, I work so hard, I don't want to see it go to that which is

  319. actually revealing that the husband can't see in the spirit because

  320. there are eternal rewards.

  321. And so I believe that if we're going to lead our wives, we must

  322. lead them.

  323. Because it's funny how you tried to lead her into sex.

  324. We have no problem taking risks.

  325. I mean, many men, I mean, women do it too.

  326. So don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be reverse sexist here,

  327. but I'm saying it's funny how we will have unprotected sex and

  328. possibly get AIDS as a result of it.

  329. We'll have unprotected sex, exposing ourself to herpes.

  330. And we don't care in that moment because of the instant gratification,

  331. we're willing to take the greatest risks, but we can't do that

  332. financially.

  333. And a lot of it comes down to one simple thing, is we have not

  334. been fathered to understand that delayed gratification is how

  335. you produce investment, and investment is how you produce wealth.

  336. And Wisdom attracts wealth, and foolishness repels it.

  337. And what happens is when we go into the instant, that's the carnal,

  338. that's the fleshly.

  339. I wanna feel this right now.

  340. I wanna do this right now.

  341. We've drank.

  342. Some of us guys, we would take a risk where we drank so much alcohol,

  343. we could have died of alcohol poisoning.

  344. But we will not transfer that risk taking into financial generosity

  345. to the local church.

  346. But what it goes to show you is which kingdom you're operating

  347. in.

  348. The physical or the spiritual.

  349. Because when you move into the spiritual, you break free from that

  350. and you start seeing in the spirit.

  351. And then you start leading in all ways.

  352. And I think a powerful moment that happens in every marriage is

  353. when the husband says, I led you into fornication, but now I'm

  354. gonna lead you into generosity.

  355. I'm gonna lead you into covenant.

  356. I'm gonna lead you into.

  357. And I believe that our house, the mint of valor of our house.

  358. And I want to prophesy over each and every one of you are some

  359. of you are gonna be the first man in your lineage to be completely

  360. whole in all things and lacking in nothing.

  361. And you may have started wrong, but you are gonna finish right.

  362. You may have started in a deficit.

  363. Your.

  364. Listen, my dad has been dead for over a decade.

  365. I didn't inherit nothing.

  366. As a part of the divorce decree, I was supposed to get money

  367. that literally got spent before I got it.

  368. I didn't get nothing but kick.

  369. My name was deleted from the obituary of my dad's death.

  370. Will you talk about the root of rejection?

  371. You ain't going to tell me nothing.

  372. I have been rejected deeply.

  373. And I had to make up my mind, you know, what?

  374. I might have to be like Abraham.

  375. Abraham was the first.

  376. There was no Mosaic Law.

  377. It was literally Abraham saying, I don't know.

  378. I don't know what to do.

  379. I just know that I can't serve the idols of my father.

  380. And I have to walk in this different direction.

  381. And I don't know who I came to talk to, but I'm looking for some

  382. men who will rise up like Abraham and.

  383. And say, I may not have it all figured out, but I know I'm not bending

  384. my knees to the idols of my forefathers.

  385. I'll walk in this different direction.

  386. I feel uncomfortable.

  387. I feel scared.

  388. I feel lost.

  389. But I also feel free.

  390. And that's why I say your destiny is not going to be that.

  391. You're a nabal, mad at your wife because she gave $50 when you

  392. used to snort 500 on a Friday night.

  393. You will not go down like Nabal.

  394. Come on.

  395. I'm fighting for your destiny.

  396. And do you feel loved, men?

  397. Do you feel loved?

  398. Okay, one guy in the back went, now I do.

  399. He looked at me like this.

  400. You're right.

  401. You're all right.

  402. You're all right.

  403. I'll stay a little longer.

  404. He did like this.

  405. He did like this.

  406. You all right now.

  407. But we haven't been taught.

  408. We're a whole bunch of orphans that were raised by orphans that

  409. were raised by orphans.

  410. We don't.

  411. I come from the culture of the poor.

  412. My mom raised us on food stamps back in the day.

  413. There was no card.

  414. It was a book.

  415. And you tore the coupons out of the book.

  416. I had never even seen no real dollar bill till I was a teenager,

  417. started working for myself.

  418. Y'all don't know about that.

  419. And we went to the corner store in South Chicago, got ourselves

  420. some limon, got ourself, all the good stuff.

  421. That's how we lived.

  422. Hood rats eating government cheese.

  423. It comes in a block.

  424. And that cheese tastes good.

  425. I don't care who you are.

  426. Comes in a block.

  427. That's what I was raised on.

  428. Come on.

  429. That's how you get a physique like this.

  430. Why are you laughing?

  431. Rejected me deeper on stage.

  432. But you think I'm joking, but I'm trying.

  433. When I'm preaching on Sunday, this pulpit is sacred because I've

  434. got to go back in time.

  435. And I'm not speaking to the 38 year old man in the seat.

  436. I'm speaking to the nine year old boy in his heart.

  437. And I'm saying, you can.

  438. There's enough time.

  439. You can get it right.

  440. And I believe in you because the Holy Spirit is in you and you

  441. can change.

  442. And I grieved for all these years, I've been grieved as a pastor

  443. to see the men struggle.

  444. And this is the year.

  445. Our men are going all the way.

  446. I believe it.

  447. This is the year.

  448. And I'm preaching to myself.

  449. Cause there were years where I said, oh, Julie, we don't need to

  450. tithe.

  451. And she said, yes, we do.

  452. And I was like Naboth manifesting, but look how it ends.

  453. And in the morning, when the wine had gone out of Naboth, his

  454. wife told him these things that she had gone and given all this

  455. stuff.

  456. And then his heart died within him.

  457. So the heart died within him and became as a stone.

  458. And then 10 years, 10 days later, the Lord struck Nabal and

  459. he died.

  460. That's first Samuel, chapter 25, verse 36.

    1 Samuel 25:36

  461. So let me tell you, according to the American Heart association,

  462. they.

  463. And this is crazy because these are doctors and scientists,

  464. they say when you don't forgive, when you hold all that bitterness

  465. and resentment in, they've actually seen on a physiological

  466. body, it goes from your mind into your veins and there's a hardening

  467. and a calcification that happens and a stiffening of your

  468. actual arteries.

  469. And the number one killer in America is what heart disease.

  470. And this is.

  471. It's not just our diet physically, it's our diet spiritually.

  472. And so when you're holding that, I mean, I told this story,

  473. I did that interview with Carl Lentz a couple weeks ago, which many

  474. people are getting free about.

  475. And I'll never forget my first day in counseling.

  476. I had developed full blown alcoholism, destroyed my marriage,

  477. destroyed my life.

  478. And, you know, and I was drinking a lot of alcohol every day,

  479. all day.

  480. And I was in that first counseling session because I was

  481. basically like, I'm either gonna kill myself or go to counseling.

  482. And you ever been like 1% alive?

  483. You're like, it's not 100% dead, but I got 1% alive.

  484. I came out on my last thread and I sat down in front of that dude

  485. and I'll never forget, I look at this counselor and while he's

  486. talking to me, I had just paid money.

  487. I had just paid money to meet with him.

  488. And at that time I had very little money.

  489. And I remember being so angry because it was like my dad had just

  490. recently died.

  491. That's really what started all this.

  492. That chaos was when my dad died, it triggered me.

  493. I basically had like a psychotic break, like a nervous breakdown.

  494. And all of a sudden I'm in counseling and I'm looking at this

  495. man and I am filling with so much rage because I'm like, nobody's

  496. ever cared about me my whole life.

  497. I mean, and I was like, and now I have to give you money.

  498. I have to, I mean, to.

  499. To another man.

  500. I mean, I was enraged.

  501. I wanted to destroy the whole room because there was something,

  502. there was so much injustice where I was like, all I've ever tried

  503. to be was a good man.

  504. And it doesn't add up.

  505. I went to college like they told me to, and I don't get paid

  506. enough money and I have student loan debt and I have to live

  507. in this stupid.

  508. I mean, I was going crazy and I was like, and now I've got to give

  509. you my money.

  510. You M, A, F, B, D, every cuss word, unloaded on this dude.

  511. And when I was done, he literally never even moved.

  512. And I was up, ranting around the room, pushing the furniture.

  513. I mean, imagine being in a counseling office and a young Mike

  514. Signorelli's in the other room.

  515. And you think Legion is in there.

  516. I'm trying to accurately portray it.

  517. And when I was all done and he has his legs crossed, and the more

  518. calm he was, the more dicked off I was.

  519. And all of a sudden he said, are you done?

  520. I said, yeah, I'm done.

  521. And he said, okay, I don't want you to ever pay me ever again.

  522. Because I didn't get into this for money.

  523. And I will meet with you every single week until you're completely

  524. free.

  525. And then I'll meet with you after that, and I'll try to be for

  526. you what you didn't have.

  527. So you gotta understand, when I came to New York, I came with that

  528. in my heart of saying, I wanna be that for a group of men.

  529. Or I'll say, I'll meet you here every week at this campus.

  530. I'll meet you in Miami.

  531. I'll meet you in Indiana.

  532. I'll meet you every week until you get free.

  533. And if you don't ever give money, I truly don't care.

  534. Cause it ain't gonna stop what God is doing through this church.

  535. And there's something holy about that, because you break an

  536. orphan spirit.

  537. And that's what that guy did.

  538. He broke an orphan spirit off of me.

  539. And then, of course, I went on this counseling journey.

  540. It was Christian counseling.

  541. And finally I got free from alcoholism.

  542. It was a major thing I never wanted.

  543. How I knew it was different is something changed in my taste.

  544. Like, I get sick, I get nauseous thinking about drinking.

  545. I actually get nauseous.

  546. Which, as somebody who used to be an alcoholic, that in and of itself

  547. is a crazy statement.

  548. Cause I was a connoisseur.

  549. To go from a connoisseur to get nauseous thinking about it is

  550. the Holy Ghost.

  551. But it worked with this counseling journey.

  552. Why did I spend so much time on this?

  553. Let me just finish, because I got a few more things to say, and

  554. then we're out.

  555. Nabal died because of a hardened heart.

  556. What if I told you you've been telling people that your dad died

  557. of alcoholism, but your dad actually died of a hardened heart?

  558. What if you think you've been telling people your dad died of suicide,

  559. but your dad actually died of a hardened heart?

  560. You know how you get a hard heart?

  561. It's called a callous.

  562. I'm not going to let anybody hurt me.

  563. So if I protect me, nobody can hurt me.

  564. If I don't let myself join this church, this church can't hurt

  565. me.

  566. If I don't let myself, like Mike, Mike can't disappoint me.

  567. If I don't let myself get my expectations up, then nobody.

  568. I'm speaking into something deep right now.

  569. But see, the only thing that happens is a calloused heart turns

  570. into a hardened heart.

  571. A hardened heart turns into a dead heart.

  572. And that's what happened with Naboth.

  573. David didn't need his stuff.

  574. And let me just give you the other story.

  575. One of the favorite ways I exegete the scriptures is I like

  576. to do fiction, Christian fiction.

  577. So, for example, I've done this many, many times on stage.

  578. I'm not gonna do it today.

  579. But imagine if Judas believed that the cross was for him too, and

  580. accepted the redemption of the blood.

  581. And in Acts, chapter two, instead of Peter preaching the sermon,

  582. it was Judas.

  583. How much more powerful would that have been?

  584. I'm the one who sold him out, but all of you sell them out too.

  585. And the freedom was for me, and the freedom is for you.

  586. I mean, I've thought about Judas preaching instead of Peter,

  587. and I think it would have been a better sermon.

  588. That's all Christian fiction.

  589. But think about Nabal.

  590. Now, Nabal never gives to David.

  591. His heart is hardened when he hears that his wife gave his stuff

  592. to David.

  593. And then he dies literally 10 days later.

  594. Let's do the other story.

  595. David is not king yet.

  596. Saul is king while this story's happening.

  597. So David's doing these exploits and he hears that Nabal

  598. has given as much stuff as possible, even to the detriment of

  599. his own family, potentially having reserves.

  600. And just.

  601. Nabal blessed the army under David and sent everything he had.

  602. And then all of a sudden, in the years to come, David becomes

  603. king.

  604. And now David owns everything.

  605. What do you think happens to Nabal?

  606. What do you think happens?

  607. Nabal's minding his business, watching the jets, just got home

  608. from fighting through traffic, getting ready to watch the Knicks

  609. game, and all of a sudden he gets a call.

  610. It's David.

  611. I haven't forgotten what you've done for me.

  612. Come meet me in the palace.

  613. And then all of a sudden, Nabal gets to come back to his kids.

  614. Kids.

  615. I had an opportunity I got asked to give to David when David

  616. was not king.

  617. Oh, I didn't wanna do it.

  618. I was so scared.

  619. Do you know our rent in Jerusalem was $3,000 a month that

  620. time.

  621. Come on.

  622. I'm trying to help you.

  623. But I gave it because I believed in what God was doing.

  624. And now, all of a sudden, it's come back to us a hundredfold.

  625. See, there's always a crossroads.

  626. Many of you are in that crossroads right now.

  627. Some of you at every campus are listening to me and the whole

  628. service.

  629. You're saying, I don't like him.

  630. I don't agree with him.

  631. I don't believe anything he's saying.

  632. I can't wait for this to be over and I'm gonna leave.

  633. And that's okay, because that's your choice.

  634. We all get a choice.

  635. But guess what?

  636. In the future, you won't get a choice for the repercussions of the

  637. decision that you made wrong today.

  638. But let me give you hope.

  639. The hope is sometimes you make a decision today that ends up being

  640. something you reap tomorrow.

  641. And sometimes when your children come to you and say, dad,

  642. I don't understand.

  643. No one like our family lives like this.

  644. No one like our family has this joy, this peace.

  645. What is the difference?

  646. Oh, let me tell you.

  647. When I was in another season, I made that decision.

  648. And I'm reaping off of what I sowed.

  649. Don't be like Nabal.

  650. Don't be like Nabal.

  651. With the last few minutes, there's two more things.

  652. I wanted to spend most of my time there because I think that's

  653. the most important.

  654. But number two is very simple.

  655. Closed hands will block living water.

  656. Closed hands will block living water.

  657. In Second Kings, chapter four, you actually see that there is this

  658. widow, and she was in a financial crisis.

  659. As a matter of fact, she couldn't pay the debt that she owed.

  660. Oh, man.

  661. I know what it's like to be under debilitating debt.

  662. I know what it's like to overextend yourself.

  663. But let me just tell you, sometimes in America, we don't understand

  664. how deep the consequences go.

  665. And I'm just like Sallie Mae.

  666. You ain't getting your money.

  667. I tell you what.

  668. Sallie Mae's calling.

  669. Sally, I broke up with you a long time ago.

  670. Sally.

  671. Sally.

  672. I'll be dead by the time.

  673. You know how it is.

  674. Yeah.

  675. Come on.

  676. Casting that demon out.

  677. What's your name?

  678. Sally.

  679. Some of you know, if you're not laughing, it's because you're

  680. freer than us.

  681. If you don't know who she is, you're freer than us.

  682. But why do I say that?

  683. Because the consequences of not paying this debt for this woman

  684. was that her children were going to be taken into slavery.

  685. So she's faced with this impossible situation.

  686. I cannot pay this debt, and because of that, my children are

  687. going to go into slavery.

  688. And she comes to Elijah, the prophet.

  689. Prophet, please.

  690. You know God.

  691. You know how the spiritual works.

  692. I don't understand it.

  693. Tell me what to do.

  694. And this is what he says.

  695. I want to read the Scriptures to you.

  696. Now.

  697. The wife of one of the sons of the prophets cried to Elijah, your

  698. servant, my husband.

  699. My husband's dead, so she's a widow.

  700. And you know that your servant feared the Lord.

  701. In other words, my husband feared the Lord.

  702. But now I'm on my own.

  703. For those of you who are single mothers, I want you to read

  704. 2nd Kings, chapter 4, verse 1.

  705. Because you see a single mother reaching out to the prophet,

  706. saying, I don't have a husband and my kids are going to get sold

  707. into slavery.

  708. I don't know what to do.

  709. I feel the anointing on this.

  710. And then he said, go outside, borrow vessels.

  711. Somebody say, borrow, borrow vessels from all your neighbors.

  712. Empty vessels, and not too few.

  713. Then go in and shut the door behind yourself and your sons and

  714. pour into all these vessels.

  715. And when one is full, set it aside.

  716. See, sometimes you gotta shut the door and get into the private,

  717. secret place to get into a place where oil is produced.

  718. Sometimes you got to go see, the prophet said, go get your vessels

  719. and then shut the door.

  720. Somebody say, shut the door.

  721. Right now you have a digital door open called Instagram.

  722. Shut that door and get your butt in prayer.

  723. Some of you got a digital door called YouTube.

  724. Open, shut the door and get into the place where oil is produced.

  725. Some of you got a digital door called calling all your friends to

  726. talk about your problem.

  727. If you want to solve your problem, Shut the door and get into

  728. prayer and get off the phone, shut the door.

  729. Then all of a sudden, she's got these empty vessels.

  730. Oh, Lord, show your people what you can do with empty vessels.

  731. See, the most important part was in the preparation.

  732. Somebody say preparation?

  733. The most important part was in the preparation because you understand

  734. that when the widow went to go get the vessels.

  735. Julie.

  736. It looks stupid because when you get vessels that are empty, I'm

  737. sure the neighbors were talking about her.

  738. Oh, you know the single mom that lives on our block?

  739. Oh, she asked me for an empty vessel.

  740. She actually thinks that that miracle, miraculously oil is gonna

  741. be filled in this vessel.

  742. Oh, she's a lunatic.

  743. Oh, she.

  744. Oh, come on.

  745. I'm talking to some of the women in this house.

  746. Oh, yeah.

  747. You know, she's going to this church V1.

  748. She actually thinks God.

  749. She actually thinks God's gonna heal her body.

  750. She actually thinks God's gonna meet her need.

  751. See, sometimes when you go to the neighbors and you ask the neighbors

  752. for help, all you're gonna get is gossip.

  753. That's why the last step of the preparation was, shut the door.

  754. Shut the door.

  755. This is a job for Jesus.

  756. Shut the door.

  757. This is a job for Jesus.

  758. I'll never forget my single mother.

  759. She played the piano like you play the piano.

  760. And the Holy Ghost taught her how to play the piano.

  761. And I remember we were on welfare, peeling off those food stamps

  762. from that book, the coupons.

  763. My momma didn't have no money.

  764. She.

  765. She.

  766. My stepdad left, and she put a sign on the wall that said, thank

  767. you, Lord, for my piano.

  768. That's an empty jar.

  769. That's an empty jar.

  770. I got somebody sitting in this campus right now that I just released

  771. a vlog that showed how she got blessed with a car and somebody gave

  772. her a car.

  773. See, this is an empty vessel.

  774. So what happens is, I feel the anointing.

  775. I love being surrounded by widows who know how to gather empty

  776. vessels.

  777. Oh, those people are my kind of people.

  778. I want to be surrounded by those kind of people.

  779. And I remember my mom put on that sign, thank you, Lord, for my

  780. piano.

  781. Well, somebody came over to our house to install a new stove

  782. because we rented the house.

  783. And the guy who came over to deliver that stove was a pastor of

  784. a local church.

  785. He asked her, what does this sign mean?

  786. But what's funny is, just the day before, my uncle, who's now passed,

  787. was in our house and literally looked at that sign and ruthlessly

  788. made fun of my mother while he was drinking beer and said, sandra,

  789. you're so stupid.

  790. Your husband left you because you're stupid.

  791. Your husband left because you're stupid, Sandra.

  792. I remember being so mad at him for talking to my mom.

  793. But I was a little kid.

  794. I couldn't do nothing about it.

  795. God ain't gonna give you no piano.

  796. Well, you're stupid.

  797. I mean, he was going in on my mom.

  798. Then the next day, this pastor who's actually working a job to install

  799. appliances, comes in our house and says, what is this sign?

  800. And she says, well, I'm a Christian.

  801. I play the piano, but I don't have a piano.

  802. This is before keyboards.

  803. That's how old we are around here.

  804. And she said, and I believe that God's gonna give me a piano.

  805. And you Know what that pastor said?

  806. I'm a pastor.

  807. You don't know I'm a pastor.

  808. But I have an extra piano at my church, and I'm going to go pick

  809. it up right now, and I'm going to bring it back and I'm going to

  810. put it on that wall.

  811. And the very next day, that day, my mom was playing that piano

  812. before the Lord.

  813. And I remember the worship fill in our house, my mother's piano.

  814. But it was an empty vessel.

  815. She shut the door, she said, God, I believe.

  816. And guess what?

  817. That pastor now watch.

  818. Watch the dominoes.

  819. That pastor was Hidasmo Eddie.

  820. That pastor Eddie, his name was, and he was a Spanish pastor.

  821. And we joined his church, and that's where my family went on our

  822. journey.

  823. And then my youth pastor became Joey Miranda.

  824. And Joey Miranda mentored me, and he raised me in the faith.

  825. And when I preached my first sermon at 15 years old, it was Joey

  826. Miranda who was.

  827. Was there for it.

  828. So you see, the dominoes were dropping.

  829. But it started with my mom being crazy enough to be like, God

  830. can give me a piano.

  831. See, by the way, in a few months, Joey Miranda is coming to

  832. preach here in New York.

  833. And we're going to talk about heritage.

  834. We're going to talk about heritage.

  835. But you got to shut the door and say, I believe.

  836. Here's my empty vessel.

  837. So what happens?

  838. She begin to pull.

  839. It would be like you coming to me and saying, pastor Mike, I'm broke.

  840. What do I do?

  841. Go to Chase bank and open seven accounts.

  842. I told you I was poor.

  843. I told you I didn't have enough money.

  844. Yes, open seven bank accounts.

  845. The preparation is where the miracle starts happening.

  846. The preparation is where the miracle starts happening.

  847. You've got to prepare.

  848. So when you're giving in the offering, every week, you're preparing

  849. for more.

  850. What you're saying is, God, I'm getting used to giving.

  851. Because giving is not an action.

  852. It is an identity.

  853. Did you hear what I just said?

  854. Giving is not an action.

  855. Giving is an identity.

  856. It's who I am.

  857. I give.

  858. And this is what the Lord's doing as he's preparing.

  859. So I want you to clench your fist like this and just hold it out

  860. like this.

  861. Like this.

  862. Right now you have some things.

  863. You have a car, you have an apartment, a house.

  864. Across every location, just do like this.

  865. You have kids, a spouse.

  866. You have.

  867. You all have stuff.

  868. Computers, laptops, phones.

  869. You all have stuff.

  870. But let me tell you, if you keep your hand like this, you will

  871. only have what you have.

  872. Now Go like this.

  873. See, this is the process of freedom.

  874. This is the process of freedom.

  875. But let me tell you what the Lord wants to do now.

  876. Go like this.

  877. This is the posture receiving.

  878. And if you're willing.

  879. If you're willing.

  880. See, the Bible says when you let your life go, that's when you

  881. find it.

  882. Oh, I remember.

  883. I don't think you guys fully get it.

  884. I went through so much abuse and trauma that I overcompensated

  885. when I became an adult.

  886. I bought a house at 22 years old.

  887. And that house was an idol because I said, nobody's gonna hurt

  888. me in this house.

  889. This is my house.

  890. This is my house.

  891. I'm safe.

  892. And I mean, it literally was like an idol.

  893. So when the Lord says, mike, move to New York and give and sell

  894. your house.

  895. I.

  896. I was like, no, God, no, the idol.

  897. But when I left go of the idol, when I lost my life, that's

  898. when he says, I want to give you your true life.

  899. And did you know that right now in Valparaiso, Indiana, down

  900. the street from where I sold my house, I now own another house.

  901. And in New York City, I own another house.

  902. He will give you double for your trouble.

  903. He's the God of more than enough.

  904. He's the God of overflow.

  905. Mike, if you let go of the idol and you learn that under the

  906. shadow of my wings, you're safe.

  907. And no house saved you.

  908. But I saved you.

  909. If you'll learn that it's not about how much you have, it's about

  910. how much you flow, Then I'll flow the resources of the nations

  911. through you.

  912. Oh, I feel the anointing.

  913. It's not about how much you have.

  914. It's about how much you give.

  915. Last paralyzed tongue.

  916. Would you stand to your feet with me?

  917. Come on.

  918. Across every location.

  919. Turn that piano up.

  920. There's a grace on the piano today.

  921. Yeah, Come on.

  922. It only was the blood.

  923. Come on.

  924. He's prophesying.

  925. Wow.

  926. Come on.

  927. We're removing the blockages from our soul.

  928. We're about to take communion in a few moments.

  929. But the last one that we've got to deal with is a paralyzed tongue.

  930. There was this high ranking military leader named Naaman in 2nd

  931. Kings 5.

  932. And Naaman was a bad dude.

  933. He was tough.

  934. But he had a hidden condition called leprosy.

  935. It was a skin condition.

  936. Men, there are some things that we can hide for a long time.

  937. Sometimes we have a hidden condition called addiction.

  938. Sometimes we have a hidden condition called lust and perversion.

  939. Sometimes we have a hidden condition called Woundedness, shame,

  940. depression, anxiety.

  941. You can hide anxiety for a long time.

  942. Trust me, I know.

  943. I had it.

  944. And he had leprosy.

  945. But eventually that leprosy starts growing over your hands, and

  946. you can't put a shirt over it.

  947. Eventually it starts growing up on your face.

  948. You can't hide it under your collar.

  949. See, I hid my drinking until my drinking couldn't be hidden anymore.

  950. My wife was literally clearing.

  951. I'm so ashamed of it sometimes when I think about it, because it's

  952. like, how could you get to the point where she's getting in the

  953. car and there's beer cans everywhere?

  954. Y'all don't know.

  955. You try to hide it, but it'll find you and it'll expose you.

  956. But the exposure is the first step to freedom, because you can't.

  957. It's like sometimes it's gotta come out.

  958. And so what happens is, you know, this leprosy in Naaman gets

  959. exposed, and he's like, well, I'm this mighty man.

  960. I'm a big bad dude.

  961. But I can't hide my physical condition.

  962. So he goes to Elisha, same person.

  963. The last woman went to same person.

  964. And Elijah does what prophets do.

  965. And prophets ask you to do the thing that requires faith.

  966. Say faith.

  967. Faith.

  968. They ask you to do the things that require faith.

  969. And so he says, okay, you gotta go to the Jordan.

  970. And by the way, I've been in the Jordan.

  971. As a matter of fact, I had a friend that was in Israel with me

  972. on my last tour, and he had an extreme gluten allergy.

  973. If he would have one morsel of gluten, it would have put him in

  974. the bed with a debilitating migraine for days.

  975. So he was completely gluten free and had to be extremely regimented

  976. when he went into the river.

  977. He asked me in the River Jordan to baptize him.

  978. Soon as he came up out of the water, he said, the Lord just freed

  979. me from my gluten intolerance and I'm healed.

  980. And I said, bro, if you're going to test that, that's on you

  981. and God, because I ain't going to tend to you in the bed for the

  982. next three days.

  983. And we were joking.

  984. That guy started eating gluten items with gluten that day.

  985. It has now been more than five years, and he's never once had a

  986. sign or symptom of gluten intolerance since then.

  987. And it happened in the River Jordan.

  988. But the prophet Elijah said, I want you to go to Jordan, and I want

  989. you to dip seven times.

  990. How many?

  991. Some miracles are instant, some are progressive.

  992. And the Lord is telling many of you right now that I'm gonna bring

  993. you into a progressive miracle because you're gonna have to dip

  994. seven times.

  995. What does that mean?

  996. It's not gonna happen the first time.

  997. First time I went to counseling, I didn't come out be

  998. like, man, it's crazy.

  999. I'm sober.

1000. I love my wife, I forgive my father, and.

1001. And I'm ready to rock.

1002. Jules, you wanna go to Disney and celebrate?

1003. Second time I went to counseling.

  1004. Same.

  1005. Third time, Fourth time.

1006. See, some miracles are progressive.

  1007. Why?

1008. Cause the Lord's humbling us.

1009. Mike, go down in that water.

1010. Matter of fact, can you imagine how tough he felt under all

  1011. his armor?

1012. He couldn't take the armor in the water.

1013. He had to strip down naked.

1014. So sometimes you got to take all that armor off and get down in

1015. that water and make yourself a fool for a little while.

1016. You know, when you're getting free from addiction, the first thing

1017. they tell you is you have to admit you have a problem.

1018. I was clinically diagnosed with alcoholism.

1019. If I would have not done a medically supervised detox, I would

1020. have died like Amy Winehouse.

1021. And I remember, at the height of that experience, me saying, I'm

  1022. not an alcoholic.

1023. I was drunk when I said it.

1024. This is how much denial we're in.

  1025. Denial.

1026. And the guy remember saying, mike, you are clinically diagnosable.

1027. We have to take you through a medical supervision to detox.

1028. Of course, this was 15 plus years ago.

1029. But he's like, we have to take you through a medical verification

1030. of this process because you could die.

1031. And my body, I remember that going through my body.

  1032. It was terrible.

  1033. Terrible.

1034. But the thing was, I didn't become an alcoholic instantly, and

  1035. I didn't break alcoholism instantly.

1036. My miracle was in motion.

1037. My miracle was in the movement.

  1038. My miracle.

  1039. So some of you.

1040. God deliver me from lust.

1041. I am delivering you one day at a time.

1042. God deliver me from greed.

1043. I am delivering you every single time you get paid.

  1044. God deliver me.

1045. It's like, yes, I'm doing it in motion.

  1046. It takes time.

1047. God help me in my marriage.

1048. I am every single day.

1049. So what I love about Naaman and I wanted to end this sermon on

1050. encouragement is Naaman does it.

1051. Even though he got mad, just like the first guy.

  1052. Nabal.

1053. Nabal and Naaman, two names for your kids.

1054. The first guy got mad and disobeyed.

1055. The second guy got mad and obeyed.

1056. See, the thing is, when God calls you to do something Supernatural.

1057. You're probably going to get mad.

1058. The question is not about how you feel.

1059. It's about what you do.

1060. And I know that God will sometimes anger me.

  1061. Why God?

1062. Why do you want me to do this?

  1063. God?

1064. But I'm the second guy.

1065. I'm the guy who obeys.

1066. I'm the guy's like, I'm mad, but I'm taking my armor off.

1067. I'm mad, but I'm getting in the water.

1068. I'm mad because I didn't get healed the first time.

1069. I'm mad because I didn't get healed the second time.

1070. I'm mad because I didn't get healed the third time.

1071. And I'll do it the whole time, mad, until I get my breakthrough.

  1072. I don't know who that's for, but that's for somebody.

  1073. Keep coming to church.

  1074. Keep sowing.

  1075. Keep tithing.

  1076. Keep serving.

  1077. Keep loving your spouse.

  1078. Keep forgiving.

  1079. You are doing it.

  1080. You're a legend in your family.

1081. I'm telling you, the Lord's already shown me my fate.

1082. And I'm supposed to lead the breakers.

  1083. That's why I'm on planet Earth.

1084. And I'm looking out at this crowd in Brooklyn.

1085. I'm looking out at this crowd in Indiana.

1086. I'm looking out of this crowd in Miami.

1087. And you are the legend of your family.

1088. And it hurts the most for you.

1089. It hurts the most for you.

  1090. Congratulations.

1091. You get to be the breaker.

  1092. Oh, yeah.

1093. It'll be a lot easier for them.

  1094. But you're different.

  1095. You're the legend.

1096. Nobody could tell Abraham where to go.

  1097. But guess what?

1098. You're gonna have a relationship with the Lord unlike

  1099. any other.

1100. Cause you're gonna have to.

1101. Oh, I feel something breaking in the spirit.

1102. We're about to take communion.

  1103. I feel.

  1104. I feel the flow.

  1105. Soften your heart.

  1106. Soften your heart.

  1107. Open your hands.

1108. The reason why there's I'm shaking up here is because I've walked

  1109. this thing out myself.

1110. So I'm speaking from a realm of authority.

1111. This has been the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life.

  1112. And unparalyze your tongue.

1113. In other words, start speaking life.

  1114. Start speaking life.

  1115. Here's what we're gonna fast from.

1116. We're gonna fast from negativity.

1117. Don't just fast from food and not fast from negativity.

1118. I want you to get your tongue speaking and declaring the word of

  1119. the Lord.

  1120. Speaking affirmation, Speaking.

  1121. Declaration, speaking.

  1122. I can, I, will, I shall.

  1123. I can, I will, I shall.

  1124. I can, I, will, I, shall.

  1125. I.

1126. There's you got to get your tongue unparalyzed.

  1127. I can, I will, I shall.

1128. I'm doing this thing, Lord.

1129. These are the three things we're about to do.

1130. So take your communion cup, get the wafer ready.

1131. Turn that piano up a little bit more.

1132. Across every location, I just.

  1133. I feel a grace.

1134. Some of you are like.

1135. But I don't ever feel like I fit in.

  1136. That is on purpose.

1137. Stop trying to fit in.

  1138. You're an original.

  1139. You're not a duplicate.

1140. There is only one of you.

  1141. That's the point.

  1142. But there won't be.

1143. But there won't be one for long.

1144. Because you're about to replicate what can't be duplicated.

1145. Yeah, there's only one of you.

  1146. That's the point.

1147. But there's gonna be many people who identify with you.

  1148. Our church is rich.

1149. Rich in books, rich in songs, Rich in businesses, rich.

  1150. Rich in events.

  1151. Our church is rich.

1152. And my destiny is to get your destiny unlocked.

1153. I'm declaring under the sound of my voice that you are going to

  1154. live in overflow.

1155. And the books will be written, and the songs will be written, and

1156. the doors will be open.

  1157. Properties will be purchased.

1158. Then, yes, you will not go to the grave with it on the inside of

1159. you dying because of stagnation.

  1160. But it will flow.

  1161. Rivers of living water.

  1162. Flow from our heart.

  1163. Rivers.

  1164. A river of finances.

  1165. A river of poetry.

  1166. A river of song.

  1167. A river of dancing.

1168. We're opening up all the rivers.

  1169. Rivers of liver water.

1170. I'm unlocking the dam this month.

1171. I'm unlocking the dam this month.

1172. It may have been dammed up in your family for six generations,

1173. but we're breaking the damn loose this month.

  1174. Overflow.

  1175. Overflow.

  1176. Oh, I feel it.

  1177. I got.

  1178. Okay, hold on.

1179. I gotta tell you this story.

1180. I debated on whether or not I should tell you.

  1181. We're gonna do community.

1182. It's the best way to do communion.

1183. You guys know Denise and Rick Renner, right?

  1184. How amazing were they?

1185. So Denise and Rick Renner were here.

1186. You gotta understand this guy.

  1187. Internationally syndicated Christian television.

1188. Offices in over a dozen nations.

1189. The first earned doctorate in the entire country of Russia.

1190. They're doing an approved interpretation of the Bible called

  1191. the Riv.

1192. People will preach out of his interpretation of the Bible for generations

  1193. to come.

  1194. He's a living legend himself.

1195. I spent all weekend and they asked me every question under the

  1196. sun.

1197. I told them about the sold out stadium.

  1198. We did.

1199. I told him about the best selling book I have.

1200. I told him about the seven locations, the seven campuses I planted.

1201. I told Them about the movie I made that was in theaters for, you

1202. know, three times, 2,000 theaters plus.

1203. And I thought I was telling them how amazing God had been in

  1204. and through our lives.

  1205. But this is.

  1206. There's levels to this thing, y'all.

  1207. There's levels.

1208. When we got to the end Sunday night in Manhattan, Denise said,

1209. hey, can I pray for you and your wife before we leave, before

  1210. we part ways?

1211. And she looks at me and she's like, Mike.

1212. And it was almost with the demeanor of like, I've listened to

1213. you all weekend and I truly feel sorry for you because you think

1214. too small and she's older in her face.

1215. She's been around the block.

1216. And it was so shocking to me because in my circles, I scare everybody

1217. with how big I dream.

1218. In my circles, I'm like.

1219. I mean, even when I talk to Vladimir, Isaiah Pagani, all those

1220. guys, I mean, I'm the one who's always scaring them.

1221. Vlad, you need to go multi site.

1222. I don't know if I can do that yet.

1223. No, Vlad, you can do it now.

  1224. He's doing it.

1225. You know, Pagani, write that book, do this.

1226. We're always pushing each other, but I'm always the one in

1227. the group that's dreaming the biggest.

1228. So you gotta understand, when Denise came to me and said, mike,

1229. your mind, it's so limited.

  1230. You remember this moment?

  1231. I didn't even.

1232. I was like, this is the prophetic word.

1233. Because it took somebody in a whole nother realm of faith to see

1234. that what I thought was big was still limiting God.

1235. So she said, I'm here on assignment to lay my hand on you,

1236. and I'm gonna break that small thinking off of your mind.

1237. She is the first person in my entire life that has ever told me

  1238. I think small.

1239. But that was a sign to me that God was trying to say, mike, you're

1240. acting like you're at the end, but you're actually at the beginning.

1241. And I'm going to do exceedingly greater, more than you

  1242. can think.

  1243. And I didn't even see it.

1244. I needed freedom last week and didn't even see it.

1245. So I don't care where you're at, I'm going to be Denise Renner

  1246. for you today.

1247. And I'm going to pray for your mind.

1248. And I'm going to pray that when we take communion, just like

1249. when Jesus body was broken, the blood had to pour out.

1250. He couldn't give you a drop, he had to give you a flow.

1251. I pray that when we take communion, the flow starts in Your

  1252. life.

1253. And God breaks this small thinking off of you like he's breaking

  1254. it off of me.

1255. Oh, I feel the Holy Ghost.

1256. Anybody else take this wafer?

1257. I want you guys to repeat this with me.

  1258. Heavenly Father.

  1259. Come on.

  1260. I can't hear you in Indiana.

1261. Heavenly Father, this is your body that was broken for me so that

1262. your blood would flow for my redemption, for my healing, for my

  1263. deliverance.

1264. And now I offer my life to be broken for the flow for what you

1265. have, God to be done in the earth through me.

1266. And Father, I ask your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

  1267. Amen.

  1268. Let's take this wafer.

1269. His body that was broken.

  1270. Come on.

  1271. It is finished.

1272. And now let's take this cup which represents the blood.

  1273. Oh, wow.

1274. Now we're going to take 60 seconds.

1275. I'm going to time it, and we're going to allow the Lord to

  1276. minister to us.

1277. Because you shifted now into the flesh flow.

  1278. So across every location.

1279. Let's reverence the Holy Spirit.

  1280. For 60 seconds.

1281. We're going to reverence the Holy Spirit.

1282. So this is finding him in stillness, finding him in this moment.

1283. Because when you took communion, it was an acknowledgment

1284. of, yes, Lord, I receive.

  1285. You opened your hands.

1286. When I had you confess, your tongue was no longer paralyzed, and

  1287. you softened your heart.

1288. So you did all three.

1289. And so we're gonna take 60 seconds and just say, okay, Lord.

  1290. Now.

1291. Now that there's no blockage, speak.

1292. Now that there's no blockage, minister.

1293. Now that there's no blockage, confirm.

1294. And so we're gonna take 60 seconds and just listen to the music.

1295. Listen to the voice of the Lord.

1296. And I want you to take that time right now.

  1297. Sa.

  1298. Come on.

1299. That was just one minute.

1300. The Lord is so proud of you.

  1301. Oh, yes.

  1302. So proud of you.

  1303. So proud of you.

1304. Oh, Lord, how long am I going to be alone when you allow me to

1305. be your whole portion, oh, Lord, how long am I going to be in

1306. lack until you overcome this fear of finances and trust me fully,

1307. oh, Lord, how long am I going to be confused until you shut the

1308. door and let me speak what only I can speak?

  1309. Yes, yes.

1310. This is the time that he's ordained for you.

1311. The time in your life.

1312. A healing time, A time of restoration, time of renewal.

1313. Let them dress those wounds.

1314. Let them stitch you up.

1315. Let them bring you to that hyperbaric chamber.

  1316. Time of healing.

  1317. Time of healing.

  1318. Time of healing.

1319. Oh, your feathers will grow back.

1320. Oh, your beak will grow back stronger.

1321. Oh, yes, you'll Fly again.

1322. Oh, yes, you'll preach again.

1323. Oh yes, you'll teach again.

1324. Oh yes, you'll lead worship again.

1325. Oh yes, you'll write again.

1326. Oh yes, you'll say poetry again.

1327. Oh, yes, you'll sing again.

1328. Oh, yes, you'll dance again.

1329. Oh, yes, you'll do it again.

1330. But the Lord says, I brought you here to make you complete in

1331. the area of sonship, to make you complete in the area of being

  1332. a daughter.

1333. To burn some things down and then finally rebuild the waste places

  1334. of your foundation.

1335. Some of you say, God, I feel like a beginner.

1336. And the Lord says, I'm taking you back to the beginning.

1337. Oh, Lord, I feel like a rookie.

1338. Lord says, I brought you to a place of humility because I'm gonna

1339. strengthen every place that's been brought low.

1340. Clear the rubble of your past life away.

  1341. Yes, you've been through a demolition.

1342. Yes, you've been through a time of demolition.

1343. But the Lord is clearing the rubble of your last.

1344. Some of you have been like, but there's still remnants of it.

1345. Lord, I still talk a certain way every once in a while.

  1346. I still do things.

  1347. There's remnants of it.

1348. But the Lord says, I'm clearing the remnants, rest of it

  1349. away.

1350. And then I'm going to rebuild the foundations.

1351. And then upon these foundations that I'm rebuilding,

1352. I will begin to build that which I have prophesied through my

  1353. prophets.

1354. Oh, for many of you said, lord, but I thought your prophet

  1355. prophesied accurately.

1356. But Lord, I thought that I dreamt in a dream that you've given

  1357. me.

1358. But I hear the Lord saying, but they spoke of what they saw after

  1359. the foundation.

1360. And now I'll go back and finish the foundation.

1361. So then that which was spoken can be built.

1362. This is revival, by the way.

  1363. This is revival.

  1364. You're about to flow.

  1365. You're about to flow.

  1366. You're about to flow.

  1367. You're about to flow.

  1368. You're about to flow.

  1369. This is revival.

  1370. You're about to flow.

1371. It's funny because the Lord showed me that even the most skeptical

1372. people of our church are actually starting to get swept into

  1373. the presence he's showing.

1374. Even the most skeptical people are like, I'm about to blow.

1375. I'm about to believe it.

1376. Somebody say in their heart, I can hear your thoughts.

1377. I somebody, I'm hearing many people saying, I'm about to believe

  1378. this preacher.

1379. I'm about to believe it.

1380. Yes, yes, you're about to believe.

1381. There's faith that's coming upon you right now.

  1382. This is not hype.

  1383. This Is hope.

  1384. Hope is.

1385. I expect the promises of God to be fulfilled.

1386. You know, yesterday I was on a walk and while I was walking, the

1387. Lord was speaking to me.

1388. And anybody, the Holy Ghost just talks to you at random times.

1389. You're like, why don't you talk to me when I want you to?

1390. But then when I don't want you to, you're always on me.

1391. So the Holy Spirit's talking to me and he said, mike, you're a

1392. man of great faith, but you do not have hope.

  1393. And I said, what?

1394. I said, lord, isn't that the same thing, faith and hope?

1395. He says, no, look it up.

1396. So I start looking it up.

  1397. Watch this.

1398. Faith is when you actually believe in the promises of God, but

1399. hope is when you allow yourself to expect them to come to

  1400. pass.

1401. And many of you have had faith, but you don't have hope.

1402. You believe in the promises of God, maybe even for other people,

1403. but you are not expecting them to come to pass for yourself.

1404. And even as the father of this house, if I'm getting my butt whooped,

1405. you're all getting a whooping with me.

1406. We have been operating in great faith, but not operating in

  1407. great hope.

1408. But I speak to the north, to the south, to the east and the west.

1409. That V1 church will rise up with hope.

1410. And we will put our hope in the Lord and we will be in expectation

1411. of every single one of his promises coming to pass.

1412. Lord, I expect you to do what you said you were going to do.

1413. Come on, who wants hope?

1414. Come on, let's grow together.

1415. Lord, I pray for all of us who, all of us former orphans who

1416. have constantly had our expectations broken, who have constantly

1417. had our hearts broken, Lord, that we would not be hardened in

1418. our hearts, but that we would expect again like children.

1419. Now I understand the word that says, unless you become like a child

1420. because children have not had their expectations broken yet.

1421. So, Lord, I pray over my church, every single one of these

1422. precious ones, Lord, that they would become like children again

1423. and that they would go back before their expectations were broken

1424. and they would begin to operate within the realm of hope.

1425. Wouldn't it be just like you, God, to raise up a people of hope

1426. in the hardest places of the United States where the most people

1427. are hopeless, we are the most hope filled.

1428. Wouldn't it be just like you, Jesus, to do it in Miami, to do it

1429. in Brooklyn, in Manhattan and Long island, in northwest Indiana,

1430. in some of the most hopeless places?

1431. Places is where you would bring the most hope filled people.

1432. But it's gotta it's gotta flow through us.

1433. If you want to come into agreement with this, would you say,

1434. God, let it be so that I would flow in Jesus name, sa.
