  1. Open your Bibles to Acts chapter 19 and meet me at verse 13 and we'll read through to verse 16.

    Acts 19 chapter mention

  2. I'll have a word from God for you today.

  3. Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call

  4. the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits,

  5. saying, we exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.

  6. Also, there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so.

  7. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus, I know, and Paul,

  8. I know, but who are you? Say, who are you?

  9. Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them,

  10. and prevailed against them.

  11. So they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

  12. It. Over the last several weeks, we've been talking about this question, who are you?

  13. And we have been addressing this question and answering this question, who are you?

  14. And in this passage of scripture, we understand that these exorcists,

  15. these are people that have the ability, I guess, to expel evil spirits out of people.

  16. And they're traveling around, they're wandering around, and they're looking

  17. for people with evil spirits and trying to expel them.

  18. And what they were doing in this particular situation was they were saying,

  19. I'm going to expel you, you evil spirit.

  20. By Jesus and by the Jesus whom Paul preaches, is what they said.

  21. By the Jesus whom Paul preaches.

  22. And the evil spirit said to them, I like what the spirit said to them.

  23. I don't like evil spirits, but I like what the evil spirit said this particular time.

  24. He said, Jesus, I know.

  25. And Paul, I know, but who are you?

  26. And then this evil, wicked spirit began to beat them up. It said he whipped

  27. them, beat them, and they was naked, and they ran out of the house.

  28. And this makes me consider that in the spiritual realm, do you know who you are?

  29. Do the evil spirits know who you are?

  30. And when you don't know who you are, I believe you're going to lose in life.

  31. I believe you're going to get beat up, you're going to get wounded,

  32. you're going to be chastised, and you're going to live a terrible life when

  33. you don't recognize who you are.

  34. And in the society that we live in today.

  35. We try to answer this question, who am I, by our feelings.

  36. By our past experiences, by what Pookie and Ray Ray say about us,

  37. by what our grandma maybe has said, by what our absentee father may have said

  38. about us. We try to discover who we are.

  39. By our politics, by what social media says.

  40. There are several different and variety of ways that we to discover who we are.

  41. But as a believer, you and I are not necessarily supposed to discover who we are.

  42. We're supposed to get in the scriptures and find out who you are just by reading the word of God.

  43. And so society wants you and I to find out who we are, feel your way.

  44. Who you are, you know, try to discover who you are by your past or by certain experiences.

  45. But the Lord Jesus is telling us that in him, we are something entirely different.

  46. And so we're going to have to get in the word of God and find out who we are.

  47. Now, primarily this particular message in this series is for the believer, the believer in Christ.

  48. If you're not a believer today in the house or online, or maybe you're listening

  49. in the car, or you'll watch this later on YouTube, you know we have over 15,000

  50. subscribers on YouTube. Praise God.

  51. People are watching, amen. And so, if you don't know who Jesus is,

  52. very simply, just say this out to me, and for the sake of the one that may say

  53. it for the first time, I want everybody to say it, Lord Jesus, I surrender my life.

  54. Use me as you see fit. I'm yours to command.

  55. Thank you. Now, immediately, you have given your life over to Jesus.

  56. You've confessed with your mouth, believed in your heart, and you are saved.

  57. And now, this message is for you.

  58. You are a believer, and I want to share with you who you are in Christ.

  59. And we find out here that 2 Corinthians 5 verse 17, we talked about this a couple of weeks ago.

    2 Corinthians 5:17

  60. Paul tells us, therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.

  61. Old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

  62. Now, what Paul is telling us through the Holy Spirit is that if we are in Christ

  63. and every believer is in Christ, you become a,

  64. brand new creation, a species of being who has never existed before.

  65. Now, you may not be the latest creation.

  66. Or the most recent creation, but you are a unprecedented creation.

  67. You are a brand new.

  68. You have not been used. You are unheard of.

  69. And so you, every day, because his mercies are new every day, you are new every day.

  70. The slate has been wiped clean, and every single day you are a new creation in Christ Jesus.

  71. Old things have passed away. Behold, all things that are ahead of you are all,

  72. new. Somebody say, I am new.

  73. So you're not old. You're not worn out. You're not tired. You're not used up.

  74. You are a new creation in Christ.

  75. And I believe every single day it's new.

  76. You're new because his mercies for you are new.

  77. And so you're a new creation in Christ Jesus. We talked about that a couple of weeks ago.

  78. And then last week, if you look at 1 John chapter 5, verse 4,

    1 John 5:4

  79. and we'll read this from the Amplified, 1 John chapter 5, verse 4,

    1 John 5:4

  80. it says, for everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world.

  81. And this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world,

  82. our continuing, persistent faith in Jesus, in Jesus, the Son of God.

  83. And so last week, we talked about born of God or born again.

  84. Born of God or born again simply means new birth from above.

  85. Spiritual birth from above.

  86. And you cannot separate where you are from with who you are.

  87. Where you're from is a piece of who you are.

  88. Last week, I gave the example of Mark. Mark told me he was from Virginia,

  89. Hampton, that Newport News sort of area there.

  90. I knew a lot about him when he told me that. That means he grew up in a rough side of town.

  91. He grew up with probably a lot of violence and drugs, and he grew up with a

  92. lot of poverty around him. He grew up in a hard city.

  93. So where he was from told me a lot about who he is.

  94. And where you're from tells everyone else a lot about who you are.

  95. And so if we are born again or born from above, when you gave your life to Jesus,

  96. Jesus told Nicodemus in John chapter 3, you must be born again.

    John 3 chapter mention

  97. And if you are born again, that means there is a new birth that occurred for

  98. you that caused you to become a new creation in Christ and also caused you to

  99. change where you are from.

  100. You are not just earthly. You are from above.

  101. You are from heaven. And because you're from heaven, we can learn a lot about your identity.

  102. I know a lot about you because you're from heaven, because I know that your

  103. father will take care of you, that you're here on assignment,

  104. and that he is loaded, and he's got everything you need.

  105. And all you need to do is stay close to your father, and he will take care of

  106. everything from you. When you tell me you're born again, I know you're fully supplied for.

  107. I know you're full of wisdom. I know you have access to excess.

  108. When you tell me you're born again, I know a lot about you because your identity

  109. is found in where you are from.

  110. Cannot be separated. And Jesus,

  111. told Nicodemus, which he's telling us as well, you must be born again.

  112. And so you are born again.

  113. And in 1 John 4, if you guys don't mind, put it back on the screen.

  114. It says everyone that is born of God, watch this, is victorious and overcomes

  115. the world. Now pause there.

  116. Born of God means born from God or God has birthed you.

  117. And so if you're born of God or you birthed from God, then you are victorious and an overcomer.

  118. And so if someone is asking you, who are you? I'm victorious.

  119. Who are you? I'm an overcomer. Why? Because you've been born of God.

  120. God has birthed you and you are his child.

  121. And now you have become an overcomer, victorious, and your faith allows you

  122. to overcome the world because you just simply been born of God.

  123. If an evil spirit asks you, if Satan shows up tonight while you're sleeping,

  124. it's like, Who do you think you are? You say, I am born again.

  125. I'm a new creation in Christ, and I'm born from above, and no devil in hell

  126. can stop me saying you can't even stop me because I came directly from God.

  127. Come on, say amen to this.

  128. This is better preaching. Y'all saying amen, but you got to find yourself in Christ.

  129. Society wants you to find yourself in experiences, but I've got to look into

  130. his word and find myself, and I'm a child of God. Say that, I'm a child of God.

  131. God birthed you, and we'll talk about this later. He also bought you.

  132. He bought your body. You know, your body is not your own, and we'll talk about

  133. this later, but you can't do whatever you want to do in your body because you

  134. don't even own your own body.

  135. God bought you with a price that is more valuable than silver and gold with

  136. the precious blood of Jesus.

  137. And so you're not just earthly. And I'm going to talk a little bit about that today.

  138. This has been on my heart all week long, and I'm excited to share it with you.

  139. I want to share another thing that God says you and I are, am,

  140. and are. And that's found in Colossians chapter 2.

    Colossians 2 chapter mention

  141. And let's look at verses 8 through 10. Colossians chapter 2, 8 through 10.

    Colossians 2 chapter mention

  142. The Apostle Paul tells us here, Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy

  143. and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men,

  144. according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.

  145. For in him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and you are complete

  146. in him who is the head of all principality and power.

  147. Oh, let's break this down. I've been meditating this all week long.

  148. In verse 8, the Apostle Paul is telling us under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit that.

  149. We need to beware unless we get cheated or deceived by manipulation,

  150. philosophy, or even human wisdom that is really empty or devoid of any power.

  151. Beware that you begin to be taught something that has no power,

  152. that puts you in bondage, that puts you in religion, and that causes you to

  153. really be powerless. He says, be aware of this.

  154. And then in verse 9, I like what he says there.

  155. He says, for in him, that means in Christ, dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.

  156. What that means there is in Christ, in his human body, dwells all the fullness of God.

  157. So when Christ was walking the earth, all the fullness of God was in him.

  158. And then in verse 10 is what I've been meditating on. And then he says,

  159. and you are complete in him.

  160. And so in him.

  161. All the fullness of God dwells, and you and I are complete in him.

  162. And so what that tells me is that we are full of the Godhead inside of us.

  163. We are complete. Say, I am complete.

  164. I am complete. In him.

  165. In him. I'm complete. Close your eyes. Say it again. I am complete. in him.

  166. That means you are feel to the full.

  167. There's no shortage. There's no lack. There's no inadequacy.

  168. You are not at a loss. You are not deficient.

  169. In him you are complete. That means there's nothing missing.

  170. There's nothing broken in him. You are complete, full,

  171. and you are at an advantage because you are complete in him.

  172. We first started the church 2011, July 2011.

  173. We started with absolutely nothing.

  174. And when I say nothing, I mean nothing.

  175. We had, you know, maybe a handful of folks, 10 people maybe or so,

  176. that was saying, hey, we'll start with you. We didn't own any equipment.

  177. We were meeting at Community House Middle School in a band room,

  178. and we had no microphones, no speakers.

  179. We didn't have this amazing worship team you saw today.

  180. We didn't have the media. We didn't have a facility. We didn't have nothing.

  181. And there was a particular guy that I went to church with, and he got the blessing

  182. of his pastor to start his own church.

  183. And so he stepped out and started a church, and he's a good friend of mine.

  184. And so I asked my pastor, I say, do you mind one Sunday if I just go visit him

  185. and just tell him I love him and excited about it or whatever?

  186. My pastor said, sure, yeah, pick a Sunday and just go on over there.

  187. And so I went over to his church, and he was meeting in a really small venue at the time.

  188. And when I showed up, he had nobody else show up. I was the only one.

  189. And so I knew that I picked the right Sunday to come, or it had just been him.

  190. And so I told him, I said, preach the word.

  191. I got an offering, and I came to get the word of God, so you better preach like

  192. this whole place is a fool.

  193. And so he did. He preached, and I sat on the front row and amened him,

  194. just me and him, you know?

  195. And I amened him and all that good stuff and gave him the offering,

  196. and we ended up, you know, moving on, that sort of thing. Well,

  197. he ended up no longer continuing his church.

  198. Well, he and I stayed friends, and he had made some statements to me that if

  199. I ever started, he would come help me.

  200. So I said, okay. And so the Lord made a way that we start our church.

  201. That's a whole other story. I'll tell you all that another day.

  202. But we started our church.

  203. And as we got going, I started realizing that I couldn't get a hold of the man.

  204. You know, he wanted, he said he's going to start with me.

  205. I couldn't get a hold of him. He wouldn't answer his phone. He wouldn't return

  206. my text. And finally, he sent me a text.

  207. And the text simply said, I'm not going to start with you. I'm going to do something else.

  208. And in the moment, it crushed me.

  209. I was devastated. I went home. Now, this is the summertime.

  210. I went home, and I manifested a fever.

  211. I had a fever. I was wrapped up under a blanket. I had the chills and the shakes.

  212. I was devastated. I thought this man was going to help me start this church.

  213. And I was crushed. And I'm laying on a couch, balled up like a little baby.

  214. Just tears coming out of my eyes like.

  215. I need this guy. I thought he was going to help me. I really needed him to help

  216. get this thing off the ground.

  217. And for some apparent reason, Stacey let me do that for a little bit.

  218. And then finally, I was like, I need to get up. I need to get up.

  219. And I got up, and I went to the church mailbox. I have no idea why I did that.

  220. I just went to the church mailbox, PO box, and I opened it, opened the PO box, and I opened a check.

  221. I opened an envelope, and there was a check in there for $3,000. Glory to God.

  222. We had just started, and praise God, somebody somewhere else sent $3,000.

  223. And say, hey, we believe in you.

  224. And man, I got really excited and I get in the car and I hear the Lord say to

  225. me in my heart, now listen to this, he said, you are complete in me.

  226. And I thought, hmm, and he said it again, you are complete in me.

  227. And I think there are times, listen to me, church, I think there are times that

  228. you and I feel like we need somebody to make us complete.

  229. I've got to have her. I've got to have him.

  230. I've got to have them. And I'll be complete in my life.

  231. If I had a husband, that'll complete me.

  232. But I want to tell you today, you can be complete without a husband. Say amen to that.

  233. If I had that man helping me, I would be complete.

  234. You know, there are times when I've talked to different ministers.

  235. And a lot of ministers that I've talked to have been frustrated.

  236. It. Can I just be transparent with you today?

  237. They've been trustworthy because their families don't serve in their churches,

  238. don't help, don't come, don't attend, and they feel like there's a lack.

  239. I'm missing something. Why is my sister not helping me? You can relate to this.

  240. Why is my brother not involved?

  241. Where's my mom and dad? Why are they not involved? Why my kids may not be involved

  242. in this or that, and they feel as if they are lacking something.

  243. And the Lord says, you are complete in me.

  244. You are complete in me.

  245. We're not lacking anything.

  246. Listen to me now.

  247. We're not lacking anything.

  248. In Christ, you have it all.

  249. In Christ, you are not deficient in any way.

  250. You're not losing in any way.

  251. You're complete in me. There are some family dynamics.

  252. I know about these. I have family dynamics too. Oh,

  253. you know, why I wish my sister and I were better friends or my brother and I,

  254. I wish they would help, or I wish that they would, you know,

  255. support. I wish they would get involved.

  256. I wish that we had a better relationship.

  257. I wish, I wish, I wish. And somewhere or another, we feel incomplete.

  258. But you can't base your emotional stability on the instability of other people.

  259. Are you listening to me today? Your emotional stability cannot be rooted in wavering people.

  260. We feel like we've got to have somebody to complete us.

  261. And the Lord is saying, in me, you are complete.

  262. Say, I am complete. I am complete.

  263. There is a man that called me recently.

  264. He was close. He might be 60. And he was sharing with me that he's having a

  265. really, really hard time that his mother passed away.

  266. And he said, man, I'm really struggling with this. I'm having a difficult time. It's been really hard.

  267. My marriage has been a little rocky because my mom has passed.

  268. It's been real difficult for me. And he made this statement to me.

  269. He said, I feel uncovered.

  270. I thought, whoa, that's deep.

  271. I said, you feel uncovered? He said, I feel uncovered.

  272. And he said, it's been almost a year and I just don't feel like myself.

  273. Now, this man's married, has grown children, he has a wife, but he feels uncovered. covered.

  274. I don't know what he exactly means by that, except I begin to talk to him about,

  275. we are complete in Christ Jesus.

  276. Mom did her part. And listen, I'm not belittling that. Mom played a major role in your life.

  277. But right now, you're going to have to find your completeness in him,

  278. your fulfillment in him.

  279. You're going to have to find your stability.

  280. Are you listening to me today? In him.

  281. You and I are going to have to derive our total peace directly from God himself.

  282. If I can get this over, if I can cut your head open and put it in there, I would.

  283. Our total joy in life has to come directly from God himself.

  284. No man, no woman, not them, not a bunch of people can give you all of the total

  285. peace and joy that you need.

  286. It's got to come directly from God himself. You're going to have to learn how

  287. to derive it directly from him.

  288. In him, I move.

  289. In him, I breathe.

  290. In him, I have my being. In Him, I am full of joy.

  291. In Him, I am full of peace. In Him, I am comfortable because the Holy Ghost is with me.

  292. In Him, not in anything else.

  293. And as a pastor, as a leader, I just want to talk to you today because the Lord has been talking to me.

  294. As a leader, I can't tell you how many times.

  295. Just receive this the right way. I'm not dumping on you, but I just want you

  296. to feel what I'm feeling.

  297. Stacey and I have said this before. There are more people that have left our church than have come.

  298. That's what we've said before. We have more people that have left than have come.

  299. But I can't find, I can't, and that's not for you to feel sorry for me.

  300. I am completely fine, okay?

  301. There's not one of them do I want to come back, okay? So I'm completely fine.

  302. Amen. Thank you, sister. I don't want none of them to come back.

  303. If God brings them back, that's a whole other thing. But I'm not missing anything.

  304. What I'm saying, the Lord's telling me your completeness is not in how many

  305. people show up. Can I talk to you today?

  306. Your completeness is not how many people stay with you.

  307. I don't need another person to stay with me to make me feel complete.

  308. I don't need another hundred members to come to make me feel complete.

  309. Complete. We've got to find our completeness in him and him only.

  310. There was a pastor here a number of years ago.

  311. He ended up losing his church. His church, from my understanding,

  312. had thousands of people coming.

  313. He ended up losing the entire church because he turned into an alcoholic and

  314. his wife had to turn him into the board because he was not the same person.

  315. Lost it all. And from my understanding, 20,000, 30,000 people come in,

  316. and I heard his apology statement. This is what he said.

  317. He said, in my endeavors to reach 100,000 people in my church,

  318. I turned to alcohol because of the pressure of reaching 100,000 people.

  319. My question to him was, where did that 100,000 come from? I assure you the Lord

  320. Jesus didn't tell you that.

  321. You need to have 100,000 people in your church to be complete.

  322. No, Jesus didn't tell you that.

  323. Because your completeness have to be found in him.

  324. I've got to derive my peace and my joy directly from him.

  325. And not how many people come, not how many people go, not how many people stay.

  326. I'm talking to you in your life to let if people want to leave your life, let them go,

  327. If they don't see the value in staying with you, let them go.

  328. You'll be completely fine.

  329. You are complete in Christ Jesus, and you can just let them go if they want to leave.

  330. Amen. Say amen to that. Don't beg not another person to stay with you.

  331. Let them walk. Let them figure out what they are missing, and I'm including

  332. some family members too.

  333. Oh, I know it's going to be quiet up here today. You got to let them go.

  334. I don't have to derive my stability in the instability of people.

  335. Let them go. Earlier this week, I watched this show. I'm off on Mondays,

  336. and Mondays I try to do nothing.

  337. I just try to just do nothing at all. So I might watch the little TV and just

  338. hang out. That's my day to just relax.

  339. And I end up watching this show on Netflix. It's called, and many of you,

  340. it's the number one show on Netflix, so some of you probably already saw it.

  341. It's called The Death of the Pastor's Wife.

  342. You just watched that, huh?

  343. The Death of the Pastor's Wife. I'm not telling you to watch it or not, but I did.

  344. I watched it. I binged. It was three episodes, and I watched,

  345. and what a sad, sad story. This is a documentary of a pastor's wife allegedly committing suicide.

  346. But what bothered me about the show was the pastor.

  347. I was very bothered by him, by how he was acting, by how he was responding,

  348. by his attitude, by his anger, by his undiscipline, by his adultery, fornication.

  349. I was very bothered by him. And can I be transparent with you?

  350. I was also bothered by how his church kept growing.

  351. He is sinning and sinning and blatant, public sinning. Everybody seemed to know.

  352. And the church just kept growing. And it kept growing.

  353. And he got up one time and said, this is the fourth year in a row.

  354. We're the best church in the city. And it just kept growing. It kept growing.

  355. And I stopped watching it, and I was upset at him. And I felt bad for the wife

  356. that allegedly committed suicide. And I was just upset.

  357. And I said, Lord, why is this demonic man.

  358. In the pulpit sharing, representing you, and his church keeps growing?

  359. And here I am. Can I be real with you? I got to beg y'all to come to church.

  360. Come on, somebody. Come, please come, come.

  361. And he's doing all type of sinning in your face. And people are flocking to the church.

  362. I ended up talking to a friend of mine, and he coaches college athletics.

  363. So he's a college coach at a major university here in North Carolina.

  364. I reached out to him, and we ended up talking about this.

  365. And I said, you know, and I told him what I said. I said, I was frustrated.

  366. It. This man is not serving the Lord at all.

  367. I mean, the elder board knows it. Everybody know it. And the church is just growing.

  368. And I'm frustrated by it. He said, man, he said, I have athletes that are eating

  369. right, sleeping right, doing all the right things.

  370. And there are other athletes that are doing all the wrong things.

  371. They're eating bad. They're sleeping bad. They're doing all the wrong things,

  372. and the ones that are doing all the wrong things seem to be.

  373. Succeeding, and the ones doing the right things seem not to be.

  374. And they come to me, and they say,

  375. they say, what am I doing wrong? This guy over here keeps doing all this shenanigans

  376. and succeeding, and I'm trying to do everything right, and I'm not succeeding.

  377. What am I doing wrong? He goes, I have the same question. All I can say is to them, just keep going.

  378. Just keep going. He said, And the sad part, and this is funny,

  379. he said, the sad part about in the industry you're in, he said,

  380. I said, here I am. I'm a faithful husband.

  381. I love my family. I love you. I pray for you. I'm trying to make all the right

  382. decisions and do the right things. And this man is standing up in the pulpit,

  383. deliberately not, okay?

  384. And is not apologetic or repentant about it whatsoever. And I said,

  385. I'm frustrated, like, why do I have to beg people to come? and he just gets

  386. up and acts crazy and people show up. Why? Why? And he said something to me.

  387. He said, you know, the society we live in today, he said, people would come

  388. to your church if you got a DUI.

  389. More than if you were serving food at a soup kitchen. That's sad.

  390. I get a DUI, get on the news, and we'll back this place out.

  391. It's sad. It's like the morals and society has crumbled, but the Lord spoke

  392. to me when I was pouring out my heart to him about this man.

  393. Can I be transparent with you?

  394. I said, why? Why? And the Lord said, you are complete in me.

  395. That's what I heard in my heart. You are complete in me. What he was telling

  396. me, don't look to the left. Don't look to the right.

  397. In me, you don't need a packed house. In me, you don't need Pookie and Ray Ray coming.

  398. In me, you don't need anybody or anything. In me, you are not lacking. Say amen to that.

  399. You are not missing out. You're not short.

  400. You're not deficient on anything. in me, you are complete.

  401. And I said, yes, yes. And I shared

  402. this with some other pastors this week because they had watched it too.

  403. And they were like, yeah, that's good. In the Lord, we're complete.

  404. We are complete. We're not competing. We're complete.

  405. Amen. And you're not competing with, well, if I can get in that dress like my

  406. sister can wear that. No, stop competing.

  407. You're complete in Christ Jesus. Amen to that.

  408. I like what it says in the Amplified Classic. Watch this. Colossians 2.10 in the Amplified Classic.

  409. And you are in him made full and having come to the fullness of life in Christ, you too are filled

  410. with the Godhead, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and reach full spiritual stature.

  411. And he is the head of all rule and authority of every angelic principality and

  412. power. I want you to notice it says, in Christ, you too are filled with the Godhead.

  413. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  414. Say this out to me. I am filled with the Godhead, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  415. Stop saying it. Just, I need it.

  416. In him, you're complete. I need her.

  417. In him, I'm complete. God will meet all my need.

  418. Oh, if I just had them in my life, if I just had this, then I'll feel complete.

  419. You won't. You got to derive your completeness in Jesus.

  420. You got to get it only from him.

  421. You got to find a way to learn how to just get peace from him what if you never

  422. get out of debt I'm believing get out of debt what if you never get out of debt,

  423. in him I'm still complete,

  424. amen see this is the difference between faith I believe and I'm acting when I believe and trust,

  425. Whatever the Lord says shall come to pass.

  426. Amen, right? I lean and depend and rely on him.

  427. I believe him, but the results I leave up to him.

  428. Say amen to that. I release my faith in him, but the results I leave up to him

  429. because I'm complete in him.

  430. In him, I am complete.

  431. If I am complete in him, then I don't have to look outside of him to discover who I am.

  432. If I'm complete in him, I don't have to look outside of him.

  433. To discover who I am.

  434. I'm in him, and he's in me, and I'm complete.

  435. I'm complete. When the Lord spoke that to me after watching that show,

  436. I said, you know, I sleep better than that guy. Say amen to that.

  437. I got more joy. I got more peace. I got more patience.

  438. I'm dreaming at night and smiles. And I mean, this man is being tormented.

  439. And yes, it looks like his church is exploding in growth, but he is not.

  440. And I'd rather be at peace and derive all of my peace and joy from him than

  441. to have a packed house shouting, running up and down and dealing with all of y'all's problems.

  442. I met with a pastor friend of mine, and he's got thousands of people in the

  443. church. And I said, what is the difference between...

  444. You know, what you're doing on a daily basis and maybe what I'm doing on a daily

  445. basis. And he's got thousands of people. And he had to answer this fast.

  446. You know what he said to me?

  447. He said, oh, there's only one difference. I said, what? He said, people problems.

  448. That's it. I got more people problems than you have. That's the only difference is people problems.

  449. And so when you derive all of your joy and peace from him, you're complete.

  450. You're not missing anything. I like what it says in Ephesians chapter 1 verse 3.

    Ephesians 1:3

  451. Ephesians chapter 1 verse 3. It says, blessed be the God and Father of our Lord

    Ephesians 1:3

  452. Jesus Christ, who has blessed us, has blessed us.

  453. He has already blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places

  454. in Christ. Notice, you're not waiting to get blessed.

  455. You've already been blessed with every spiritual blessing.

  456. You have everything you need right now. There is not one thing you are missing.

  457. You have everything you need right now.

  458. Jesus is our wisdom. If you need wisdom, you have wisdom. If you need provision, you have provision.

  459. If you need access, He gives you access to the Father.

  460. You have everything you need right now because you have already been blessed

  461. with every spiritual blessing.

  462. Say this out to me. I've already been blessed with every spiritual blessing.

  463. You have it all ready. You have everything you need.

  464. Now you come to church and sit under anointed teaching so you can discover what

  465. you already possess, so you can uncover what you already possess.

  466. This word should be a mirror to you.

  467. You should be able to look into this word, and it reflects who you are,

  468. and when you don't understand, you should be able to come to church and gain

  469. understanding because God's given gifts unto men to help explain some things that are in this word.

  470. And you already have whatever you need. Say this, I'm complete in him.

  471. Second Peter chapter one, verse three, I think I'll wrap it up with this.

  472. Second Peter chapter one, verse three in the passion translation says,

  473. everything we could have ever need for life and godliness has already been deposited in us.

  474. Glory to God by his divine power.

  475. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing him

  476. who has called us by name and invited

  477. us to come to him through a glorious manifestation of his goodness.

  478. Notice everything we could ever need for life and godliness,

  479. watch this, has already been deposited on the inside of us.

  480. You're not trying to get something.

  481. You're not longing for something. You're not waiting for something.

  482. You already have whatever you need on the inside of you because you are complete

  483. in him who are you i'm complete i'm complete,

  484. in Christ Jesus. I am not missing anything.

  485. I have everything I need because I am complete in Christ.

  486. I don't lack one thing.

  487. I am not short of one thing. I am not deficient or inadequate in any area.

  488. What kind of lie are you telling yourself?

  489. Some of you are telling lies about yourself, such as, I'm not enough. I'm a loser.

  490. I can't, I'm alone.

  491. I'm a liar. I'm a drunk.

  492. I'm a drug addict. I can't be dependent upon. What kind of laws are you telling yourself?

  493. No, the truth of the matter is, I am complete in him.

  494. And when you recognize that your

  495. completeness in him, all that other stuff will just start to fade away.

  496. Have you ever heard of imposter syndrome? Yeah, it's where you're doing things

  497. that are right, but you don't feel enough.

  498. You feel like you're a joke. You feel like you're fooling people.

  499. That's a real thing, this imposter syndrome.

  500. So you got to tap into, no, in him, I am enough.

  501. In yourself, you're not enough. In yourself, you're incomplete.

  502. But in him, you're enough. He has called you and separated you and appointed you and anointed you.

  503. Whatever job, whatever task you have, you are enough in him. in him.

  504. In him. The first time I, you guys know my story, I got a working for a Fortune 500 company at a bank.

  505. I, well, I'll tell the story. I don't have a four-year degree. I don't have a degree.

  506. And I was getting promoted at this bank. And I'm moving on up.

  507. And I started getting into areas where everybody had degrees.

  508. I mean, everybody did. Degrees, degrees, more and more.

  509. And I kept ascending, and they all had degrees, and they were talking about

  510. their degrees. And one day, I made some silly statement about something,

  511. and they asked me, well, how did you get your degree if that happened?

  512. I said, oh, don't worry about that.

  513. And I kept moving. I said, I got to be quiet. And it wasn't that the people

  514. hired me knew I didn't, but the co-workers, They didn't need to know.

  515. They don't even know what's going on in my life.

  516. And as I kept ascending up in the company...

  517. I started to feel like I'm in over my head.

  518. I really don't know what I'm doing, right? I feel incomplete.

  519. And I had to grab a hold of this message I shared with you today. I'm complete in him.

  520. God called me to be here, and I'm here for such a time as this.

  521. And then I became the number one sales rep over time. Amen.

  522. They got all their degrees. I didn't have none, but I was the number one,

  523. praise God, because in him, I'm complete.

  524. I'm not lacking anything. In him, he's the one that's upholding me.

  525. He's the one that's paving the way for me, making the places straight.

  526. In him, I'm complete.

  527. And you have to realize in the areas of your, as a mother, you are complete. You're not lacking.

  528. Mom, you're not lacking anything. You have everything. I hear this by the Holy

  529. Spirit. you have everything you need to raise your children.

  530. You have all of the wisdom, all of the patience, all of the knowledge,

  531. all of the understanding to raise those teens and children you are not lacking in Jesus' name.

  532. Hallelujah. Say, I'm complete. Say, I have everything I need.

  533. Say it's been deposited in me All I gotta do Is draw it out It's in me And I'm

  534. complete In Christ Jesus,

  535. This is how you experience True life.
