S3E27 Fellowship: Two Witnesses
Publisher transcript
Transcript
-
Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to the fellowship tonight. We're
-
progressing ever backward through the eschatological terminology. We are getting
-
this list from the Wikipedia article for Christian eschatology. If
-
you go there and you click on the terms, you
-
will see what says actually key terms. Expand the key terms,
-
and if you go to the bottom of the list
-
and work you way four that's where we're at. We
-
did the World to Come, we did a Woman of
-
the Apocalypse, we did the Whore of Babylon, we did
-
the War in Heaven. It's time to do the Two Witnesses.
-
So we're moving ever backwards. So it's the two Witnesses.
-
Oh my goodness, the history of the guesses that theories
-
put forth about who the two witnesses are are we
-
quite endless. I mean, we can say this beyond any
-
shadow of doubt. The two biggest contenders are Moses and Elijah.
-
But of course Moses usually gets kicked to the curve
-
because he died, So it's usually Inich and Elijah, the
-
two people who have not died. And I appreciate that.
-
I mean, I would put forth a whole lot more names.
-
I mean, for example, you go to Bevers chapter eleven,
-
and when I bring this up, people get real uncomfortable
-
about it, because well, it's the truth. Is uncomfortable. But
-
when you go there, there's only three righteous people before
-
the flood, just three Ain Inich and Noah. So you know,
-
we can certainly talk about those three. But that's disturbing,
-
isn't it. It's very disturbing. There's only three people before
-
the flood that were heirs to the righteousness of faith.
-
So me, being a Biblicist, I don't know anything else.
-
I mean, I was raised up through my adult years,
-
I never studied anything except the encyclopedia and the Bible,
-
so no commentaries. I didn't care. I never knew that
-
there were a different eschatological models until I entered an
-
institution of higher learning. Now, that in itself put me
-
at a disadvantage because I got there quite earlier than
-
everybody else. Most people may take the natural progression of
-
going to high school four years, graduating and then going
-
to an institution of higher learning. I got there much
-
sooner than that. So this created a well, it created
-
quite a quagmire for me because I didn't understand what
-
they were saying they were completely biblically illiterate, and I'm
-
talking about my professors astonishingly. So, So with that in mind,
-
let me ask everybody. Is there anybody here that wants
-
to tell me who they think the two witnesses are? Anybody?
-
Come on now, do not tell me that the spirit
-
is still because I know better.
-
Well, I don't have an answer to that specifically, but.
-
A question, can.
-
Would the two witnesses be able to die twice?
-
That's a crazy question. Why do you say that? What
-
makes you think anybody could die twice? That's an interesting
-
statement there? Please can that explain yourself? Why did you
-
say that?
-
So, if the two witnesses are going to be killed
-
and lie in the street for three days, if they
-
can't die twice, then that kind of counts Moses out
-
because he died.
-
So that's where my.
-
Logic is going, because so can they die twice?
-
Can I ask you a better question? Sure? I mean,
-
let's just follow this. Okay, now, I'm sorry, I'm not
-
picking on you, but how many times did Lazarus die? Yes?
-
He died twice.
-
Okay, do not say he didn't because he did? Right? So,
-
now that I said that, you're able to unsegregate your mind,
-
because somebody put that barrier in your mind. I don't
-
know who did it, but it was somebody else. It
-
wasn't you, because you instinctively knew that it was the
-
resurrection of Lazarus that triggered the event. From that point forward,
-
Jesus what was dumed? They were going to kill him. So,
-
but that's a good point, and you know, I'm going
-
to bring up a better point. Elijah had his time, right,
-
I mean, there are limits in place after the flood.
-
The Lord God swore that the days of man would
-
be numbered, right, So I mean, whether you like it
-
or not, you have a time with it. And Elijah
-
had his time, and so did Enich. They had their time.
-
They lived. So this has always been very curious to
-
me that people really do think this is just two
-
witnesses when you understand that there is a structure to revelation.
-
There really is. There's a structure to it, and there
-
are literary devices in it, and the narrative of the
-
two witnesses is kind of inserted. It's kind of inserted
-
in a place where, well, most people don't want to
-
most people don't want to bring up the obvious that
-
this has just kind of been thrown in there, okay,
-
because it's in the middle of the trumpets. I mean,
-
you don't have to like it, but it is. I mean,
-
Revelation Chapter nine is the fifth, is the fifth and
-
sixth trumpets?
-
Right?
-
Well, all of ten and the first fourteen verses of
-
the eleven are outside of that narratives. That's be those
-
those things are before the seventh trumpet. So, Kenneth, let
-
me ask you what is the seventh trumpet? Or anybody
-
as far as that concerned, what literally happens at the
-
seventh trumpet? Anybody, I've taught you this many times. The
-
seventh trumpet is the coronation of Christ. So why is
-
this narrative kind of thrown in the middle? One thing
-
is for sure, it is before the bold judgments, right,
-
So as far as the chronology of things of things go,
-
that's one thing. Are they consecutive? Of course they are.
-
So we need to pan way out because to me,
-
the two witnesses will be killed, right? Who is it
-
that will kill them? Does anybody know.
-
That wasn't the false prophet?
-
Anybody else? The beast that descended from the Abyss Revelation
-
chapter eleven, verse seven, when they finish their testimony, the
-
beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make
-
war against them, overcome them, and kill them. Hell on,
-
So let me ask this, why isn't anybody else allowed
-
to kill them? When we jump up to verse five,
-
and it plainly states that if anyone wants to harm them,
-
fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. And
-
if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed
-
in this manner. Now, the question is how does the
-
beast kill them? How does the beast from the abyss
-
kill them? Because as far as the biblical narrative is concerned,
-
in that window of operation, there's only one way you
-
can be killed. How is that one way that you
-
can be killed?
-
Anybody beheaded?
-
That's right, beheaded. Now you're getting that from the end
-
of the story, right, you're getting that from our relation
-
chapter twenty. Correct. Yes, So when you realize that, I'm
-
not quite sure why you wouldn't be able to put
-
these two together, because it plainly the states that those
-
killed were killed by being beheaded. That's the only way
-
that you can be killed in the Book of Revelation. Okay,
-
you can in the birth pains, in the seals. You
-
can certainly be killed by war, civil war, famine and pestilence,
-
as far as someone murdering anybody, And this went of
-
opportunity during the Great Tribulation. It comes down to this.
-
Any saint of God can only be killed one way.
-
They must be beheady. So this raises some very important questions.
-
Once you see that, Once you understand that, that is
-
to say, once you have in headed the Book of
-
Revelation in your sycing, once you have literally written it
-
upon your heart, these things stand out. They stand out
-
and make sense, and it has echoes of something else.
-
It has echoes of Matthew chapters ten and eleven and
-
Luke chapters nine and ten. Because one thing is for sure,
-
we need to talk about something else. First. We need
-
to really talk about Matthew chapter twenty four. That's what
-
we need to do, because one thing is for sure,
-
Matthew chapter twenty four, verse fourteen. And this Gospel of
-
the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as
-
a witness. Yeah, that's what I said, witness as a
-
witness to all the nation. And then the end will come.
-
Then it's tell me I mean, you've been pretty vocal
-
for this fellowship. Tell me how long do you think
-
that word then needs it says, and then the end
-
will come? How much time do you think will transpire
-
for that word then?
-
Twelve hundred and sixty days?
-
Really?
-
Really?
-
To me, I look at this and I see a
-
literal end. To me, the end is when the Lord
-
Jesus Christ stomps on the mount of Olives. To me,
-
that's the end. And we are plainly told in the
-
narrative how long that is. So let's be reasonable, everybody.
-
So you think these two witnesses are going to walk
-
all over the planet, how long would it take you? Okay, Kenneth,
-
let's say your particular state. I don't know what state
-
you're in, but tell me how long would it take
-
you to walk to every town square in your state?
-
Because probably even at the least side, there's a probably
-
at least three hundred towns in your state? Right, How
-
long would that take? Kenneth? No, really, no, really, how
-
long would that take?
-
That would take many many years.
-
It would take many years just in your state, and
-
yes it would. I don't understand why people don't think logically.
-
If Matthew chapter twenty four, verse fourteen is to be true.
-
If it's to be true, uh, there's going to have
-
to be a whole lot more than just two people
-
doing it. And yes, here in Matthew chapter twenty four,
-
verse fourteen, there's only one word for witness. It's G
-
thirty one forty two in the Greek. And yes, it
-
comes from the word martyr. That's where you get the
-
word martyr. Let me say that again. I'm not trying
-
to create ontological shock with you, but I know it's
-
probably the first time you've all have ever looked at
-
this this way, because these two witnesses are facilitating the
-
promise her the Lord Jesus Christ. In Matthew chapter twenty four,
-
verse fourteen. Yes, yes, yes they are, Yes they are.
-
And when you look at it that way, you realize,
-
wait a minute, there's no way these two witnesses can
-
fulfill Matthew chapter twenty four, verse fourteen. There's no way.
-
But that is what this verse is saying. Yes, this
-
word here for witness. Let me read it for you again.
-
In the New King James version and Gospel of the
-
Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a
-
witness to all nations, and then the end will come.
-
So in this it's not it shouldn't be difficult for
-
you to understand why Revelation chapter eleven, verse five said
-
what it said. I'm confused as to why people don't.
-
Let's go back there and read. Okay. And if anyone
-
wants to harm them, fire proceeds from the mouth and
-
deviours their enemies. And if anyone wants to harm them,
-
he must be killed in this manner. This is the
-
only way. It is the only way that those who
-
have fallen prey to the false prophet and taken his mark.
-
There is no way they would allow these witnesses to
-
spread this gospel of the Kingdom in their part of
-
the world. What are you? What are you nuts? So
-
this was always in play, Matthew, Chapter twenty four, verse fourteen.
-
Could never come true, It could never come true outside
-
of supernatural intervention. I'm just staying, Let's just take today. Okay,
-
let's just take today. We don't have to go so
-
far as being in the tribulation. Let me just ask Kenneth, Kenneth,
-
what happens if you go to a Muslim country, go
-
to their town square, set you up a soapbox and
-
start preaching that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven.
-
What will happen to you?
-
Most likely be beheaded?
-
No not most you would be beheaded. No no, don't, don't.
-
Don't play with history. Okay, they love posting the videos.
-
You will die. So I don't understand why people think
-
that Matthew Chapter twenty four, verse fourteen could ever come true.
-
I dare you, I dare you to go to the
-
country and ask Afghanistan, Afghanistan, do this. I dare you,
-
I gear you to go to Turkey. So I don't
-
know why people have allowed bad shepherds to separate their
-
intellect from the word of God. Because God wrote the
-
Bible to explain to you what's going to happen, and
-
you should naturally know that the laws of physics are
-
in effect. And when God says that He's going to
-
hand over the authority he gave to Satan through the
-
scapegoat and to the false prophet, I don't know what.
-
I don't know why you think that God's being facetious.
-
There's only one way they are going to do this
-
under these circumstances. And he comes right out and tells
-
you he comes right out and tells you. So we've
-
already read this. When they finish their testimony, the beast
-
that the sins out of the bottoms will make war
-
against them, overcome them.
-
And kill them.
-
Okay, how so now the message is finished, right right now,
-
the message is it's finished. Now, the message is finished,
-
Yes it is, Yes it is. Okay, Let's go back
-
to Matthew chapter twenty four, verse fourteen. And this gospel
-
of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world
-
as a witness to all nations, and then the end
-
will come. And then the end will come. Let's see
-
what it says. Let's go back to Revelation chapter eleven
-
and continue on with verse eight. So now that they're done,
-
Now the gospel of the Kingdom has been preached to
-
the end of the world. Now they're killed. How long
-
does that word then the end will come? How much
-
time expires? Because I guarantee you the Lord's not gonna stutter,
-
He's not going to try to confuse you. He will
-
come right out and tell you because he's the Lord,
-
God of Host, and he really don't care if you
-
know we're not because there's nothing you can do about it.
-
So let's read verse eight. And their dead bodies will
-
lie in the street of the great city, which is
-
spiritually called Sodom in Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
-
Then those from the people's tribes, tongues, and nations will
-
see their dead bodies three and a half days and
-
will not allow their dead bodies to be put in graves.
-
And those who dwel on the earth will rejoice over them,
-
make marry and send gifts to one another, because those
-
two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth. Do
-
you understand it? Now here? Just for good measure, we'll
-
go back and read it one more time, because God
-
was not stuttering. And this gospel of the Kingdom will
-
be preached in all the world as a witness to
-
all nations. And after three and a half days the
-
end will come. Here, let me finish the first and
-
then the end will come. The end of the tribulation
-
is what event? Can anybody tell me what terminates the
-
one thousand turn of sixty days? What terminates it? Will
-
somebody say something? Don't lie to yourself and say you
-
don't know what ends the great Tribulation? Wow, your old dumbfounded.
-
It's the Return of Christ. Yes it is. It always was, Jamie.
-
It says that you raise your hand. Do you want
-
to say something? You want to talk about something? Yes,
-
we can. Sorry, that was way earlier than the two
-
in this question. Okay, well ask the question. No, No,
-
that was it. I had a comment then, but it's fine.
-
Thank you. You're welcome. Anybody else want to say anything.
-
Stop the bus, you know, because sometimes the driver has
-
to stop the bus, put it in park and turn
-
around and discuss things with the class. Are all of
-
you reeling right now or something.
-
I'm getting very frustrated because I looked at this well
-
as extensive as extensively as I can in my the
-
way that I think, and I kept seeing well, Lampstan's churches,
-
I know, I looked at the Olive the Olive branches
-
whatever it says right there also, and I know I
-
found some very interesting stuff there. For some reason, my
-
brain is locked and I just can't get there. But
-
I have looked at this, and looked at this, and
-
looked at this, and there is a lot of very
-
fascinating stuff there. When I started looking at some of
-
the churches, of course, athesis stuck out, and there was
-
a second church that also talked about their lamp stand
-
or something something very similar to that, and I just
-
can't remember, I can't find my notes.
-
Well one, thanks for sure. These witnesses obviously come from
-
a church that just sent everybody into a tail spin again,
-
didn't it? Okay, what makes you think that the two
-
witnesses would be anybody other than Christian? Just look, there's
-
only seven different types of churches. Do not be misled.
-
There's only seven different types of churches, okay, And the
-
Bible is actually very clear as to what those churches are.
-
It's really very clear. You need to write down this list.
-
Number one is the persecuted church. Number two is the
-
compromising church. Number three is the corrupt church. Am I
-
getting everybody's attention? The faithful church, the lukewarm church. You're
-
concentrating on names. You need to understand that I can
-
see way past well, I can see the names themselves,
-
But you need to understand that. I don't know why
-
you're thinking that the two witnesses would not come from
-
a church, because christ Church has been established. So they're
-
not Muslims, Okay, they're not too Buddhist Okay, So of
-
course God would leave you clues to let you know
-
that very thing. And that's what Sherry was seeing. So
-
let's get back on track here. Maybe we need to
-
talk about this. Kenneth, what say you? Up until this point?
-
What are you thinking?
-
So I just keep going back to verse seven where
-
it says it's in verse seven, Chapter eleven Revelations says
-
when they finished their testimony, and and before that it
-
says they had they had they had the power to
-
shut up heaven and earth, and no rain fell for
-
days of their prophecy.
-
So if they did that, everyone.
-
In the world would know, right, right, someone is, someone
-
is doing this, So it had to be attributed to somebody.
-
Somebody didn't, right, you know. And so that's what's going
-
on in my head.
-
Absolutely, and we already determined this must be more than
-
two people, must be more than two people, And well.
-
Why wouldn't why wouldn't they be together? Because Christ sent
-
them mountain by twos.
-
That's right, that's right. He sent seventy of them out
-
by two, right, yes.
-
He said, yeah, or seventy two.
-
He sent seventy out by two, Yes he did. I
-
can read the Greek. Yes he did he sent seventy
-
pairs out?
-
Matthew?
-
So now, yes, sorry, didn't mean to interrupt.
-
So there's the olive trees that are olive branches too,
-
And what just keeps coming to me? And I wish
-
I could find my notes. It's two sets of twins.
-
What do you mean by two sets of twins? You
-
mean four?
-
Yeah, you have the lamp stands and you have the
-
two olive trees. That's right, And so I think it's
-
two groups, but consisting of two different parts.
-
I'd absolutely agree. Okay, I'd absolutely agree. Let me ask
-
everybody something. So who did Judas go out with? Let's
-
get down to you know, let's get down to the
-
meat and potatoes. Riddle me. Who went out with judis
-
because somebody did this narrative. There are so many things
-
in this narrative that you should be able to quickly
-
come to an understanding. And if it's quite right, they
-
had to have been beheaded. This group must be the
-
only group it can be, must be the only people
-
who can't take the mark of the beast. They can't
-
take the mark of the beast. Why can't they take
-
the mark of the beast?
-
Because they were sealed that's right.
-
Revelation, Chapter seven, verse two. Then I saw another angel
-
of sending out of the east, having to seal of
-
the Living God. And he cried with a loud voice
-
to the four angels to whom it was granted to
-
harm the earth and the sea, saying, do not harm
-
the earth, the sea, or the trees. Do we have
-
sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads. You
-
can't killow an angel is required to kill them. And
-
then how an angel does it is by beheading them.
-
So the number here given right, the number here given
-
is one hundred and forty four thousand. Has anybody done
-
the math? Has anybody never just sat down and just
-
did the math?
-
Because it's seventy two thousand, seventy two thousand airs of witnesses?
-
How much time is went by? How much time I
-
got left? Not enough, that's for sure. We could go
-
through this entire narrative, and I could show you all
-
kinds of threads. How many of you knit, how many
-
of you crochet? Right now, my wife is crocheting me
-
a purple afghan. It will be a gift for whichever
-
holiday happens after she's completed. So it could be Christmas.
-
If she's not done, it'll be my birthday. It's not
-
my birthday, it'll be Father's Day. Do you know what
-
you do to all the ends, all those loose ends
-
at the end of the row. Now many of you,
-
if you've never watched somebody crochet and afgrin, you don't
-
know what I'm talking about. But all those ends have
-
to be woven back into the outcat. Yes they do.
-
And there's so many loose ends in this text that
-
is pointing you to this narrative. It's ridiculous. I mean,
-
how hard is it to figure out how the beast
-
that descends from the bottomless pitt kills them? When it
-
comes right out and tells you later that they were beheaded,
-
Why would you wonder when it was they were killed?
-
When Christ plainly come out and told you that the
-
witnesses they would become martyrs and the end would come.
-
This was the whole reason why you told you they
-
celebrated for three and a half days. Doesn't take a
-
rocket scientist to figure this out. This is what happens.
-
They can't be killed, so they're put into custody. From Timbucto,
-
from Paris, France, everywhere and they're all sent to the
-
capital city and do exactly what Diocletian did. They're all brought.
-
Just exactly what happened, Yes with Nebulkaner, I mean surely
-
I'm forgotten that, right.
-
Look, the image of the beast is a nicer chronal event,
-
Yes it is, Yes it is. It's just a repeat
-
of Nebuknezzar's image that he forced everybody to bout out
-
in worship. So where do you think this is? We'll deceit?
-
Who'll bewitched you into thinking there's more than one image
-
of the beast because they have, haven't you? They have
-
you deceived into thinking that it's Ai and it's on
-
a video screen right.
-
Book.
-
They're going to be taken into custody because they can't
-
be killed. If the people that have six sixty six
-
on them might to kill them, they get nuked. So
-
they're taken into custody in their town squares and transported
-
to the capital city. Guess where the capital city of
-
the false prophet is? If you need a hint, it's
-
because you ain't got a clue. You've been busy entertaining
-
yourself to death. You've entertained yourself to death. There is
-
only a one image of the beast, just one. But yet
-
it jazes me when I talk to Christians about oh yeah,
-
there's yeah, the mark of the beast and the images
-
of technology. Right, Kenneth, let's ask Ken? Can I pick
-
on you Ken?
-
Right?
-
Sure?
-
So tell me, Kenneth. You know what happened when never
-
Knezer's image?
-
Right?
-
Everybody had to bow down and worship the image except
-
somebody didn't, right, Yes, And what happened to them? How
-
did the people try to kill them? Don't hesitate? I
-
know that you know. Answer me.
-
I tried to put them in the fiery furnace.
-
That's why the Lord God has a sense of humor. Yes,
-
is the only way that the people with the mark
-
of the beast are going to get killed. God has
-
a sense of humor, so he makes it so with
-
you try to kill them, you go into a fiery furnace.
-
Do you get it?
-
Yes?
-
Do you understand it now? Yes? I understand it. From
-
the beginning, the beginning of these prophecies is the image
-
of Nenezzar. Yes it is, Yes, it is. Don't lie,
-
yes it is. It's not a technology. Okay, it's not
-
that big screen in Times Square. Don't lie, you know
-
the one I'm talking about, Ladies and gentlemen. These things
-
are true. The Book of Revelation is not some fantasy,
-
science fiction novel. God says everything in it to explain
-
to you the other things that he's told you about
-
it before. I don't understand. If the two witnesses have
-
such a magnificent force, why did you think they would
-
not be in Matthew chapter twenty four. So you actually
-
thought in your brain that Jesus Christ would not tell
-
his own disciples of what was to come, because that's
-
what they were asking him. Now, the disciples must have
-
been set in their scratching their head, well, how is
-
this gospel going to go over the whole planet? They
-
didn't know how it was going to happen. But guess
-
what you all do? And the problem is you let
-
the entertainment industry confuse you. And I think those who
-
raised me for never permitting that to happen to me.
-
I mean, it's like you can imagine my surprise. I
-
was playing skip bow with my fellow roommates, and of course,
-
of course the first time that Rashashana comes around and
-
they start talking about the rapture around the skip bow table.
-
Let me start talking about a preacher rapture. You just
-
imagine what's going through your mind, Like, what are they
-
talking about. I'll never forget their reaction the first time,
-
because Matthew, don't play, I don't lie. You're not worth
-
going to hell over. Never forget the look on Randy's face.
-
I said, man, who's bewitched you? So let me get
-
this right. You're going to be a preacher. You're here
-
to get your ministerial license, and you have no clue
-
what the Bible says. Randy was offended and he didn't
-
last two years in the pulpit. That's the fact. That's
-
a tragic fact. But so we have to understand it that,
-
of course the two witnesses would beat would be in
-
Matthew chapter twenty four. Of course, the Lord, the whole
-
purpose of Matthew twenty four was Jesus with telling his
-
own disciples what was to come. And all you have
-
to do is just just compare the two texts because
-
it's God speaking. So look, have you ever sat down
-
and actually read Revelation chapter thirteen without looking or listening
-
to the entertainment industry? This is elementary reading. This is
-
not difficult at all. I mean, let's read verse five. Okay,
-
this is this is not rocket science, man, it's not.
-
And he was given them out speaking great things and blasphemies,
-
and he was given authority to continue for forty two months.
-
So at the end of forty two months, Jesus comes back.
-
Yes he does.
-
All who dwell on the earth will worship him whose
-
names have not been written in a book of life
-
of the lamb who was slain from the foundation of
-
the world. Let's look at this verse fourteen, and he
-
deceives those who dwew in nearth by those signs which
-
he was granted to deal with the sight of the beast,
-
telling those who dwell in the earth to make an
-
image to the beast who was wounded by the sword
-
and yet lived. This is absolutely not difficult in Greek.
-
It's not. With the tool that we have today, it's
-
very easy because the image here Greek is very exacting,
-
and I assure you it's in the singular case. So
-
I'm good if somebody has convinced you that it's going
-
to be on a big screen. But if it is
-
on a big screen, it can only be on one
-
big screen, and you it should at least know that
-
big screen has to be in the city where Jesus
-
was crucified. So you have to understand that Satan's primary
-
job is to disconnect you from what is to come,
-
because this is the guarant the Holy Spirit once you've
-
been born again. John Chapter sixteen, Verses twelve through fifteen
-
emphatically states the proof of you being born again is
-
the Holy Spirit will show you what's the good. The
-
Holy Spirit will show you the apocalypse of Jesus Christ.
-
Do you know what the apocalypse of Jesus Christ is,
-
I'll tell you. You didn't know, I'll tell you right now.
-
He is acting as your high priest. Yes he is,
-
Yes he is. There's going to come a time when
-
God the Father will issue a decreed to vifurcate the kingdom. Well,
-
split it in two, doth say it the Lord? Then
-
the apocalypse of Jesus Christ is that he will be coronated,
-
because once God the Father bifurcates the kingdom, he makes
-
Jesus the coregent. Yes he does. Then the apocalypse of
-
Jesus Christ is that he will have to make his
-
divine procession from the father's capital city to his own
-
capital city. At his arrival, he marries his queen and
-
exterminates his enemies. Then the apocalypse of Jesus Christ is
-
that he will rule and reign in his capital city
-
for a thousand years. I'll stop right there. I challenge
-
you today that the Bible is true. I know that
-
your preachers and your teachers have convinced you that it's
-
not true. But I'm telling you that it is true.
-
And I am here telling you that the Two Witnesses
-
fulfill Matthew chapter twenty four, verse fifteen. And there's only
-
one way this can be done. Because the Muslims would
-
kill them, the Buddhist would kill them. You know that
-
this is no secret. That's why I'm provoked to say
-
Stu has bewitched you. I mean, how did you not
-
know this? How could you not know? How could you
-
not know that that's the purpose the Two Witnesses serve
-
that the two Witnesses, these seventy two thousand different dynamic duos,
-
do this to the whole planet. But the townspeople can't
-
kill them, so they take them into custody and ship
-
them off to the capital city. When their message is done,
-
they get killed, then the end will come. So how
-
long are they dead? Three and a half days Matthew
-
Chapter twenty four, verse fourteen. And this gospel of the
-
Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a
-
witness to all nations, and then the end will come.
-
The preaching is ended by the beast that descends from
-
the bottomless.
-
Pit, beheading them.
-
Guess when all this starts. Listen to the very I
-
bet Jesus Christ is getting ready to tell his disciples
-
when all this starts. I bet you he will verse fifteen. Therefore,
-
when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by
-
Daniel the prophet standing in the Holy Place, whoever reads,
-
let him understand who could have bewitched you into believe
-
in something else? So anyway, so let's guss Kenneth again. So, Kenneth,
-
who do you think?
-
So?
-
So it's so it's either Elijah and Moses or Enoch
-
in Elijah right. So it's Elijah, right, So who do
-
you think the two witnesses are?
-
Uh?
-
Oh, Kenneth left, That ain't gooting.
-
Sorry, sorry I dropped out, dropped me.
-
So did you hear my question?
-
I did not.
-
So, with all this information, who do you think the
-
two witnesses are? Is that Moses and Elijah or Enoch
-
in Elijah? One thing we do know earlier Sherry brought
-
up the two witnesses, and God states emphatically that the
-
two witnesses at that time of the building of the
-
Second Temple was the Rubbable and Joshua. They were living
-
people at the time, weren't they, Kenneth, Yes, yes, yes,
-
And they had their time to live, didn't they?
-
You know?
-
Matthew twenty four says a whole lot more about this,
-
this idea of the time of the two witnesses. But anyway,
-
what time are we at now?
-
Oh?
-
I'm in overdrive. I'm a minute pasted.
-
Okay.
-
Any questions or comments or does anybody want to yell
-
at me and sent me straight by all means anything,
-
anybody wants to talk about? Nope, going once, going twice?
-
Okay.
-
So I keep getting this remembrance pop up in me
-
about the two witnesses in verse eleven or chapter eleven,
-
verse seven says when they finish their testimony, And for
-
some reason, it keeps bringing me back to Hebrews chapter nine,
-
verse sixteen, For where there is a testament, there must also,
-
of necessity be the death of a test stator, for
-
a testament is in force after men are dead, since
-
it has no power while their testator lives. So it
-
seems to me if that is works out in this
-
same situation, in this case, that their death is more
-
powerful than their witness was. Say that again, their death
-
was made more powerful than their witness was their testimony was.
-
But that's exactly what Revelation chapter eleven states. Yes it does, okay,
-
it says what happens after they died. What happens.
-
Now?
-
After three and a half days, the breath of life
-
from God entered them, and they stood on their feet,
-
and great fear fell on those who saw them. And
-
they heard a loud voice from heaven saying, come up here.
-
And they offended into Heaven in a cloud, and their
-
enemies saw them.
-
Amen.
-
What you have quoted from Hebrews chapter nine, starting in
-
verse sixteen, that's screw.
-
Praise God, okay.
-
Because they couldn't kill them, right, they wouldn't listen to them.
-
They refused to repent, and then they saw this, and
-
this was a greater testimony than anything that come out
-
of their mouth. Because these God haters got to see
-
their witnesses. Now take note scrutinized the Greek. Here they
-
saw their two witnesses ascended to heaven. I don't think
-
I know what it says. I know what it says.
-
I don't have reservations about what it might say. I've
-
written this in the original tongue. I've written it, so
-
I know what it says. So why don't you read
-
from Hebrews Chapter nine again just to make sure it's
-
driven home as to why these witnesses ascend into heaven.
-
Read it force again, please.
-
So nine starting in verse sixteen.
-
For where there is a testament, there must also, of
-
necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament
-
is in force after men are dead, since it has
-
no power at all. While the test stator lives.
-
And not the three. At the end of the three
-
and a half days, what happens, I'll tell you what happens.
-
Christ comes down, That's what happens. So I hope you
-
learned something tonight, everybody, because once you once you see it,
-
you can't unsee it. Let me say that again, once
-
you see it, you can unsee it. You also need
-
to know this in the narrative. You have to put
-
the two narratives together of matth you and Luke. The
-
twelve are sent out two by two and then the
-
seventy are commissioned and sent out later. But you have
-
to interweave God's word to make it hold. So anyway,
-
anything that anybody else wants to talk about, well, I
-
have just kind of questioned.
-
I guess so the way that you said it, and
-
then being dead in the street for three and a
-
half days and then being raised back up, and everybody's
-
made very afraid by that, and this is probably totally
-
not right, but it made me think of Elijah and
-
the draw bones.
-
And why is that?
-
Because that's what happened, that dead came back to lice.
-
Because that's what happened. You're that's exactly what happens. So yes,
-
I would hope that it would draw your mind.
-
There it should Okay, Thanks, yep, anybody else going once,
-
going twice, third times?
-
A charm?
-
Okay, who's going to pray us out of here? Wow?
-
I can thank you, Sherry.
-
You're welcome. Father, Thank you so much for your word.
-
Thank you for this man who has been willing to
-
spend the better part of his life, sharing this truth
-
with everybody who will listen. I'm grateful him and all
-
that he does. Ask your Father to bless him and
-
his family see to their needs. I thank you in advance,
-
Father for your goodness towards them. I ask you to
-
be with all of us as we go through the week,
-
and those who are listening as well, draw us closer
-
to you, Father, into a deeper and more abiding relationship
-
with you. Woo list unto yourself and help us to
-
live lives that are pleasing to you. In all ways
-
cause us to willing to do with your good pleasure.
-
We ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus.
-
Amen, Amen and amen. Until next time, ladies and gentlemen,
-
God bless, God speed.
