S3E28 Fellowship: Son of Perdition

-
Welcome, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the Fellowship, and I'm
-
glad we're doing this in this format. I was kind
-
of worried before we got started because it was two
-
minutes to go and nobody had shown up yet, and
-
it wouldn't be the first time that I'd been stood up.
-
But anyway, Kenneth jumped on with less than two minutes
-
to go, less than one hundred and twenty seconds. So
-
because I didn't want to do this as a instructor,
-
I didn't want to do this as a teacher. It's
-
better to do it in the fellowship format because when
-
I get preaching, make no mistakes. I can preach the
-
fire out of you. Oh yes I can. So I
-
really don't want to be harsh. I know that everybody's
-
got these well, everybody's operating tonight with confirmation bias. You
-
don't know what confirmation bias is.
-
It is.
-
Your ability to only see coroborating evidence. You absolutely can
-
psychologically not process information that contradicts what you believe. I
-
mean the best example of this is it's the Pretrie rapture.
-
You have the entire Bible, all the verses contained. Then
-
you have the verses that you take out of context,
-
and with those verses that you take out of text
-
is what you build your belief upon. Well, that's why
-
I've long stated this. I've stated this since I was
-
technically a child. I don't believe the Bible God's Holy Word.
-
I know the big difference. I don't have any beliefs
-
about it. I accept it, and I process it as
-
the Gospel truth, as the God given Gospel truth. So
-
I've told many people this. I've told many pastors this,
-
I've told many teachers this, I've told many professors this.
-
Everything I learned the Bible told me so first, my
-
parents taught me to question anything that the Bible, God's
-
Holy Word did not validate itself. So I'm glad we're
-
doing this in the fellowship format that everybody can talk,
-
they can ask questions, and I've got to do that
-
right now because this topic of the son of tradition
-
is very narrow, very narrow. I mean, there's only what
-
to versus we can go to in the New Testament,
-
and both of those are the bookends of time itself,
-
so not a lot to gather from there. So you
-
have a whole lot that well, whole lot that can
-
just be conjecture. So seees how Kenneth came in here. First,
-
let's ask Kenneth. Kenneth, what do you know about the
-
Son of Perdition? Please riddle me if you can. Come on,
-
you've heard something about the son of Tradition. Well, they
-
talk about Judas being the son of Tradition, and he
-
is and he is, no doubt, I mean, that's what
-
God's word. Well, that's what Jesus himself said. And we're
-
going to talk about this. But what about the other
-
son of perdition, the one that is the home the
-
man of sin? So you're saying he is I mean,
-
let's just cut right to the chase. So he is
-
the anti Christ or not the false prophet? Okay? All right,
-
all right, let's hear from somebody else. Jinny, what's your
-
thoughts on the Son of Tradition?
-
What?
-
Where?
-
When?
-
Why?
-
I haven't read about it recently, but I mean, yes, essentially,
-
what Kenneth said I would concur with. I always overlaid
-
this in a co edition with with the false prophet.
-
Okay, all right, so that's that's kind of new, right,
-
because everybody else don't even mention the false prophet. So
-
everybody else says, no, it's it's the anti crit but uh,
-
that stuffs pretty interesting. So Carol, would you like to
-
come on, Kenneth? Can you mut mute your mic? You're
-
getting some some rustling noise there out of your mic. Carol,
-
what say you? Give me all the juicy you know,
-
give me all the all the gossip. What's up with
-
this son of tradition? Anything, Carol or nothing? Okay, maybe
-
Carol can't come to the mic. How about Tammy? Tammy
-
is always good to get the good juicy stuff out
-
of Tammy if you can. Okay, Carol was speaking.
-
I didn't know I was muted.
-
Okay, yeah, you have to push the button, Carol. I
-
can't push it for you. Okay, go ahead, Carol. What
-
what say you of the son of Tradition?
-
So I read both passages in the Dude Testament using
-
the Son of Tradition before I came on. And he's
-
a follower of Christ. That's the type the son of
-
tradition is lost. But he was a follower of Christ.
-
Well more than that, I mean, give me a break, okay,
-
you know, I mean we can put into the follower
-
of Jesus Lazarus.
-
Right.
-
No, no, no, he was a disciple. He was up
-
the ladder as far as you can go. He was
-
a disciple. So I mean, I appreciate you putting it
-
lightly that he's a follower. He's more than that. I mean,
-
we're talking about one of the Base twelve that was
-
given the power to raise the dead. Amen. Yes, okay,
-
so this is next level. Judas had commands of the demon.
-
He could heal anybody, he could raise from the dead.
-
That's what the Bible says. So I appreciate that. Yes,
-
he is. Which where have you heard that's spoken before?
-
I mean, oh, my goodness, I thought that. I thought
-
the Antichrist was the son of the devil, and he was.
-
You know, he'd murder his own mother, I guess. So,
-
I mean, really, what just came out of your mouth, Carol,
-
is foreign thoughts. Those are foreign thoughts to the mainstream
-
whatever you want to call it, the mainstream entertainment, I guess.
-
So let's see if we can get Tammy's take on it. Tammy,
-
tell me about the son of tradition. What do you
-
know about the son of tradition? You mean Judas, either
-
Judas or the last one.
-
Well, he's a high up guy in the church, and
-
when he comes the last one, if it were possible,
-
he would deceive even the elect.
-
How can you do that unless you come right out.
-
Of the church.
-
That is wisdom right there. You're exactly correct. And you know,
-
once again, Tammy, you're you're bringing up these countermeasures because
-
everybody that is a part of the clergy. And do
-
not be misled. Okay, I'm not showing prejudice here. I
-
mean all of them, all of the clergy, state exactly
-
the opposite of what you have all said here tonight.
-
They say that he's he's the direct of the devil.
-
He's evil from the beginning. He deceives everybody, he hates everybody,
-
and of course he's not from the church. That's why
-
they disassociate. They never state that the Son of Perdition
-
is the false prophet. They never say that. So I'm
-
gonna ask a very stupid question. Okay, while on earth,
-
would God ever tell you about the Son of Perdition?
-
If he wouldn't tell you about the Father of Perdition?
-
Now let that sink in. Let that sink in real good.
-
Let that marinate in your mind for a minute. Did
-
any of you have the wherewithal to can consider? What
-
if I search this word for predition in the Greek only,
-
not with the word son, but if I search this
-
tradition with the Greek word for father, anybody, why wouldn't
-
you do that? Let me say that again, why why
-
on earth would you not do that? Why would you
-
expect God to just randomly give you this phrase the
-
son of tradition and just leave it there, never telling
-
you anything about the father of tradition, because oh, yes,
-
it's there. Oh and once again I don't believe it.
-
I'm good to share with you things tonight you've never
-
heard before. Don't even try it. Go to all of
-
your doctorates of theology, do all the research you can.
-
And I'm garantee h you have never heard what your
-
ears are going to hear in this program. Because what
-
I said is just an elementary thing, and it comes
-
to a riddle of riddles. It's not just it's not
-
just something light, it's something extremely foreboding. And you look
-
at the Greek You're like, man, this doesn't make sense.
-
This is so hard to translate. You can't get any
-
two translations to even come close to one another. It's
-
that bad. You look at this and it's well. I
-
will say this. The best way to translate this is
-
to break this verse into because the first part makes
-
sense by itself, and the second part makes sense by itself.
-
But you put both pieces together and your it'll stretch
-
your mind, is what it will do. What it will do,
-
stretch your mind. So we'll get to that here. If
-
time permits, Amen. Did I upset you when I said
-
that if time permits? Did you think you were going
-
to did all the latest gossip on the son of
-
tradition tonight? You know, had a pretty serious question to
-
ask of me yesterday. You really do want this to happen,
-
don't you? Yes? I do, Yes, I do. I fully,
-
absolutely desire the Great Tribulation to get kicked off in
-
twenty thirty I really do. Make no mistakes about it.
-
My mother would tell you, my wife will tell you this.
-
If it doesn't happen, if I have to wait till
-
twenty thirty three, I will be mad about it. So
-
you have to try to accept something. I'm not like you.
-
I don't think like you. And believe me, it's not
-
my choice. We have been below the poverty level, our
-
whole lives. My wife was well above the poverty level
-
until she married me. So look, I know this is
-
confusing to you, but it's never crossed my mind to
-
start squirreling away money for retirement. So what you're going
-
to learn tonight is the unadult rated word of God,
-
and you're just not used to that. All of the
-
denominations are ran off of the clergy's particular traditions. They
-
reject what the Bible says. So what you're going to
-
get here tonight is unfiltered. It is the unadulterated word
-
of God. And if I was you, I would hold
-
onto that because the real tricky verses I was talking
-
about earlier. You're gonna need to know that, because up front,
-
I mean, tell me this, how many people do you
-
know that could tell you off the top of their
-
head how many verses in the Bible begin with the
-
word word? How many? I mean, how would you translate
-
a verse that begins with the word word. So first off,
-
let's start where everybody else starts. Let's start at the
-
shallow end of the pool, Chapter seventeen, verse twelve. While
-
I was with them in the world, I kept them
-
in your thing.
-
Those whom you gave me I have kept, and none
-
of them is lost except the son of pradition, that
-
the scripture might be.
-
Fulfilled. Now, the first thing I would want to know was, well,
-
what scripture is that? Right? What scripture is those? Who
-
is this that's been prophesied? Where is it prophesied right? Well?
-
Most notably forty one and that Psalm It's plainly states
-
that his own familiar friend that rises his heel against him.
-
Of course, Psalm one nine dictates the matter of how
-
this friend that raises the heel against him is replaced.
-
These things about the disciples being in his hands is
-
further elaborated in Isaiah chapter eight as the immenual prophecies.
-
Do you not know?
-
Have you not heard? Anyway? Verse eighteen? I am and
-
the children whom the Lord has given me. We are
-
for signs and wonders in Israel from the Lord of Host,
-
who dwells in Zion. So no doubt about it. This
-
one here being spoken of is absolutely Judas, And you
-
can't go any farther up the ladder. This is a
-
disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, whom is included here
-
in the priestly prayer. So this is true that tonight
-
the fellowship themselves brought this up, that this guy's from
-
the church. Where else would it? Where else could you
-
perform a great apostasy from You can't become apostate from
-
outside the church. So let's go to the next one.
-
Let no one deceive you by any means, for that
-
day will not come unless the falling away comes first
-
and the amount of sin is revealed. The Sun of tradition,
-
who opposes and exalts himself above.
-
All that is called God or that is worship, so
-
that he sits as God in the Temple of God,
-
knowing himself that he is God.
-
So how do you pair this up with Judas? How
-
do you pay this up with Judas? One thing is
-
for sure, this is overtly right to the point, directly
-
referencing Daniel chapter eleven. It's directly referencing.
-
So make no.
-
Mistakes that this must be about the prince who is
-
to come. Let's go to Daniel chapter eleven, starting in
-
verse thirty six. Then the king shall do according to
-
his own will. He shall exalt and magnify himself above
-
every God shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods,
-
and shall prosper to the roof has been accomplished. For
-
what has been determined now be done. He shall regard
-
neither the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women,
-
nor regard any god, for he shall exalt himself above
-
them all. But in their place he shall honor of
-
God to fortresses, and a God which his fathers did
-
not know. He shall honor with silver and gold, with
-
precious stones and pleasant things. Thus he shall act against
-
the strongest fortresses with the foreign God, which he shall
-
acknowledge and advance in glory, and he shall cause them
-
to rule over many and divide the land for game.
-
Make no mistakes. Second, Thessalonians chapter two is built off
-
of of these verses Daniel chapter eleven, verses thirty six
-
through thirty nine. So it would it would stand to
-
reason that the following verses, verses forty through forty five,
-
that's not happened yet. These last verses here they tell
-
you how he comes to an end. Kind of don't
-
make sense, does it. One thing is for sure. The
-
other verses, which are not going to cover loudly states
-
that he is going to die and he will come
-
up from the earth. Oh, that's right, that's exactly what
-
Revelation says, that he rises from the earth. That exact
-
phraseology in Greek is also used of the Witch of
-
Vendor when she states that he rises from the earth.
-
This person that she's been instructed to rise up stay
-
work than Greek. So that being the case, make no mistakes.
-
It also puts Samuel on a different level, doesn't it.
-
So very little information to go off of here unless
-
you choose to start looking at the original language, either
-
the Hebrew or the Greek. Here we're in the Greek.
-
This is where all of you are familiar with. You're
-
familiar with this. You're familiar with John seventeen twelve, and
-
second Thessalonians, chapter two, verse three. That's what you're familiar with,
-
and quite honestly, up until this point, it's all that
-
you have known. But this phrase in Greek does not
-
just die here. It is other places. We're going to
-
take a look at one of these places right now,
-
very strange passage. It's in Proverbs chapter twenty four. Now
-
this is a little stay, shall we say, because the
-
proverbs are well, the proverbs are sometimes they're one verse,
-
sometimes they're five verses. You get my point. You might
-
call this a stanza, but in Greek this is a strange,
-
extremely strange. So let's let's let's do a proper fellowship.
-
I'm honestly not going to have time to do this, everybody,
-
so you need to let me know. Should I talk
-
about this? Should I talk about this reference the other
-
time where son of Tradition is? Or should I talk
-
about the Father of Perdition? Which one should I talk about?
-
Because I don't have time to do both. Come on,
-
somebody better say something. I think the Father of tradition? Okay, Carol,
-
what say you?
-
Well?
-
I went to reading John thirteen and Jesus himself told
-
us that about the betrayer and that he would he
-
was the person that lifted his heel against me. And
-
when I saw the word heal, it just took me
-
right back to Genesis three. And it's just so clear
-
Jesus himself speaks about the son of Perdition and Satan
-
then who entered Judas. Yeah, book of the last Supter,
-
of the last Supter. So it just fulfills Genesis three.
-
Yes, And one thing is for sure, Satan's used more
-
than just Judas is scariot. Yes, so, yes, that's ultimately
-
what he's talking about. Now, he is ultimately talking about that. Yes, correct,
-
So which one would you rather me do, the Son
-
of Perdition or the Father of Perdition?
-
Well my vote is the son the title son of Perdition.
-
But you know, okay, all right, may no, I don't
-
have enough time to do both, but yes, all right,
-
so everybody, we'll go ahead and continue with the Son
-
of tradition here in Proverbs chapter four. Now remember we're
-
doing this from the Greek, so this is not going
-
to follow your masoretic text, but it's not going to
-
the mainstay of this ministry has become the Lexham English Septuagen.
-
We also at times use the New English translation of
-
the Septuagin the nets. That's why I'm going to read
-
this from here, even though my critical notes is from
-
the lax. I just want to read it out of
-
both of them. So Proverbs chapter twenty four, starting in
-
verse twenty one. Now take note, this is wildly different.
-
So the septuagen has twenty two A, twenty two B,
-
twenty two C, twenty two D, and twenty two E.
-
Now why would God do that? One thing is for
-
certain he did. So. This part that has the exact
-
phrase son of tradition is in twenty two A. I
-
will bring it to your attention, okay, starting o verse
-
twenty one, My son, fear God and the key, and
-
disobey neither of them, for they will unexpectedly punish the impious,
-
and who shall know their punishments twenty two A. So
-
here it is a son who keeps the word will
-
be far removed from destruction, for he received it willingly.
-
Twenty two B. Let no falsehood be spoken to the
-
king from the tongue, and no falsehood will proceed from
-
his tongue. The tongue of the king is a dagger
-
and not of flesh, and whoever is handed over will
-
be destroyed, for if his anger is sharpened, it kills
-
people with throngs, and it devours the bones of people
-
and consumes them like fire, So they are not food
-
for young eagles. No, I appreciate that translation, and believe
-
me when I say, an expert in the Bible, God's
-
Holy Word, when I say that, that should get your attention,
-
because the only thing I could say to that translation
-
in those verses is okay, Well, I guess you could
-
say that. Now we're going to read it in the
-
ex So this is the mainstay of this ministry that
-
lects some English septuagen fear god son and the King,
-
and disobey neither of them, for they will suddenly punish
-
the ungodly, And who shall know the retributions of both.
-
A son who keeps the word will be beyond destruction,
-
and receiving she received it. Let no falsehood be spoken
-
from the tongue to the king, and let no falsehood
-
come out from his tongue. The tongue of the King
-
is a sword and not want of flesh, and whoever
-
shall be given up to it will be crushed, For
-
if his wrath is sharpened, it destroys humans together with sinews.
-
And he devours the bones of humans and burns them
-
up like a flame, so that they are inedible for eagles.
-
Young.
-
Now I'm gonna say this again, knowing these words and
-
phrases in Greek, all I gotta say is, well, I
-
guess you could translate it that way. I appreciate that. So,
-
now that I've given you all the words, we need
-
to concentrate on verse twenty two here, because well, I
-
mean you could say that, and this is one of
-
the verses in which begins with the word word. It
-
begins with logos, and you're just scratching your head, like
-
what because the next word G fifty four or forty
-
two means to god, it means to watch. The next
-
two words are the words you know, son and perdition,
-
Son and perdition. So once you know this you have
-
to scratch your head and sit there and say, well,
-
why did they translate it that way? That's a good question. Okay,
-
First off, you have to break this verse in two
-
to get it to make sense. So one thing for sure,
-
some translations, you know, some translators would say, well, this
-
must mean for the son of perdition is kept outside,
-
because yes, this clause here most certainly ends with G
-
sixteen twenty two exterior or the end. So like, what
-
word to guard son of pradition exterior outside? Now, looking
-
at it plainly as a translator, it would say the
-
word guards the son of perdition outside. Let me say
-
that again.
-
This is this.
-
Phrase in Greek. Write this down. It's important. It's logos
-
word G thirty fifty six. Then it's G fifty four
-
forty two to guard or to watch. Then G fifty
-
two O seven son in Greek, and then G six
-
eighty four pradition, and then G sixteen twenty two exterior
-
or outside. The word beats the son of pradition outside. Okay,
-
now let's look at the next phrase. It begins with
-
I am exist. That's JU fifteen ten. Then it has
-
G twelve oh nine that's to receive or to accept.
-
Then it has a conjunction, then it has that word
-
again in a different form G twelve oh nine, to receiver,
-
to accept, and then the last word is auto, which
-
is self. And you're setting there thinking to yourself, Okay, what, well,
-
what on earth does that say? Well, basically, I mean
-
rough translation would be he is accepting and he is right.
-
But I guess that's one way you would you could
-
translate it. But but when you look at these words
-
in the Greek, it just leaves you scratching your head.
-
And I am not being facetious when I say that. Okay,
-
So the first instance of G twelve nine, well, just
-
it just well, it can confuse you because it's too
-
completely different forms here the same word. I mean, in
-
one sense, it's third person singular right extremely hard to translate.
-
I mean.
-
I have received right, I have received. Then once the conjunction,
-
because if you have received, okay, well, I mean, what's
-
that going to be? Is it going to be under
-
but or now? Or then? Or what about so? Or
-
or it's a conjunction, could be any of those things.
-
So is it then? Is that what it means? I
-
receive and receiving and then sells what? Okay? Say that again?
-
I am g fifteen ten received, I am received.
-
And being so.
-
Received I am. So let's look at this verse again
-
in the L in the Electum English subtugent, this is
-
twenty two A. It states the son who keeps the
-
word will be beyond destruction and receiving he receives it.
-
So what does he receive the word? I guess one
-
thing is for sure. This is by every stretch of
-
the imagination, it is a master riddled Greek. That's what
-
I would say. Yes, Tammy, I see that, I see
-
you have to go okay, much love. So now that
-
you see this, now that you understand this series of verses,
-
you're able to understand that this is extremely important and
-
this is absolutely saying something about the son of tradition
-
and whatever he whatever he receives. I mean, look, it
-
kind of doesn't make sense. You have these two words
-
for self. You have two words for self. Here you
-
have G fifteen ten at the beginning, and it ends
-
with G eight forty six. It's I don't know, does
-
anybody know what to make of that? Anybody? Man? You
-
ought to try messing around with Google Translate in these verses, Carol,
-
what say you? What's going through your mind? Well?
-
This I'm going to have to consider somewhere. I'm looking
-
at the morphology on the analytics to sceptu agent, and
-
it's quite a puzzle. This is definitely a very puzzling proverb.
-
It is, and it's very dire, isn't it. I mean,
-
the message is plain to the text from the beginning. Right,
-
let's read that again, verse twenty one. Fear god son
-
and the King, and disobey neither of them. Okay, what
-
have you looked at that verse in Greek?
-
Because it does say son, it says g Yeah, it
-
says fear god son and king. Yes it does, Yes,
-
it does.
-
I'm looking at it. So let's try the Thompson. It
-
says my son, fear God and the King. I appreciate
-
that that's what the Britain says too, My son fear
-
God and the King, and do not disobey either of them.
-
I appreciate that the Briton for twenty two A says,
-
a son that keeps the commandment shall escape destruction. There's
-
no way you can translate that that way. Where did
-
the word commandment come from? It was so they're construing
-
that logos begins that begins the verse is commandment. How
-
did they come up with escape? Because that's the opposite
-
of what it states. It does not say escape. It
-
says to garter keep. So Carol, can anybody does anybody
-
have access to the Britons Because you look at this
-
and the Brinch, you're like, that's the exact opposite of
-
what it says.
-
There.
-
Let me read the whole thing. This is from the Britons.
-
A son that keeps the commandment shall escape destruction for
-
such and one has fully received it. It's garbage. No, no, no,
-
It says the word we'll keep the son of perdition.
-
It doesn't say commandment. It does, it doesn't. It certainly
-
doesn't say escaped. So and that's just laughable. And I'm
-
not I'm not picking on the Britons because I've already
-
told you beforehand. I mean, I've given you the actual
-
Greek words, and it leaves you scratching your head like
-
boll how could you translate it? One thing is for sure,
-
the word son is there, Yes, it is. You can't
-
just leave it out. Let's try this again in the
-
New English translation of the subtusen. If my son fear
-
God and the King and disobey neither of them, for
-
they will unexpectedly punish the impious, And who shall know
-
their punishments? Of look of who? Of of God or
-
the King or the son? Which one?
-
So?
-
Anyway, this is a master briddle. But when you listen
-
to it and you get the feel for it, you
-
begin to understand that God is saying something incredibly dire,
-
and it's a whole lot worse than these verses are
-
plainly relayed twenty two eight. A son who keeps the
-
word will be far removed from destruction, for he received it.
-
Willingly let no falsehood be spoken to the king from
-
the tongue, and no falsehood will proceed from his tongue. Okay,
-
from whose tongue let's let's read that again. Let no
-
falsehood be spoken to the king from the tongue, all right,
-
So that's your tongue, not the king's tongue, right, it's
-
your timeue, and no falsehood will proceed from his tongue.
-
So you mean the king's tongue. The tongue of the
-
king is a dagger, and not of flesh. There's no
-
such thing as a dagger of flesh. Of course, I mean,
-
what is this, mister obvious translating this here? Of course,
-
the tongue is not a literal dagger. That's figurative. But
-
it goes on to say, and whoever is handed over
-
will be destroyed, for if his anger is sharpened, it
-
kills people with throngs. Okay, what do you do? You
-
understand that doesn't make sense. So you're saying that the
-
tongue can't be sharpened because it's made of flesh, right,
-
But then when it does do something, it kills with throngs.
-
And lastly twenty two E And it devours Okay, so
-
the tongue or the throng or the sword which one?
-
And it devours the bones of people and consumes them
-
like a flame. So that they are not food for
-
young eagles. Okay, okay, okay, what wouldn't you like to
-
know what those words are in Greek? I mean, what
-
so you understand that you have to have your gears
-
really turning. They have to be really turning. Now, just
-
so you know, these Greek words are G thirty five
-
O two and yes, that's what it means, a young ling,
-
a nestling, so, yes, a nest link and yes. The
-
next next word is G one o five an eagle,
-
an eagle. So things that make you go hm hm right.
-
One thing is for sure. If you want to know
-
more information about the son of tradition, devianju I figure
-
out what this states. Because just so you know that
-
word for eagle. Yeah, the Lord Jesus Christ told you
-
about that in Matthew chapter twenty four, verse twenty eight.
-
He stated, for wherever the carcass is there, the eagles
-
will be gathered together. Yeah, same Greek word, Yeah it yes,
-
it is. It's G one oh five. So let me
-
open the floor for questions or comments. We've only got
-
four minutes left, so any questions, any comments, anybody?
-
No, the king is this that willful king being spoken
-
of in this proverb.
-
Well, like I stated that last phrase in twenty two A,
-
it begins with the word for I am and it
-
ends with the word for self or I. So let's
-
take a look at that again. Okay, So here's the phrase.
-
It says, I am, that's G fifteen ten. Then it's
-
G twelve oh nine to receive, so I have received? Right.
-
Then it has the conjunction G eleven sixty one. It's
-
conjunction right, so it should say then, right, so I
-
have received? Then what it's the same Greek word, different
-
form G twelve oh nine to receive if you accept.
-
And then lastly it is auto self. So does it
-
mean what is it saying, Carol? What is it think?
-
Well?
-
They they both are verbs, and one is in the
-
ARUs tense third person singular that twelve of nine, and
-
then the other one is in the present tense. So
-
there's two different times that's being talked about here of
-
being received being used in this received. These words, it's
-
to me, it's just totally confusing right now. But they're
-
not the same. They're not being used. Even though they're
-
they've got the same Strong's number, they are not in
-
the same and they're both verbs. They're describing a different tense.
-
And time, and under what circumstance would you do that?
-
I mean, I'm furious myself. Right, So this truly is riddle.
-
So the first part is pretty easy. Right, the first
-
part is pretty easy. The word will contain the son
-
of tradition. And we know we know who logos is, right,
-
or you can't say the word kah will guard. I mean,
-
don't you understand that this first phrase? Now you understand
-
who it is who's restraining? Right? Did I say that
-
in a way you could understand it?
-
So this is the restraint. It's for a certain time
-
that the restrainer will now let it.
-
You said that, not me. I'm just saying that. This
-
is saying that the word is keeping the son of tradition.
-
Now have you well you obviously have it, So you
-
haven't had you haven't taken the time to investigate this
-
word here for to keep or restrain. So let's do that. Okay.
-
So this exactly back case in form is in Luke
-
chapter eight, verse twenty nine. Okay, that's right there. So
-
I'm going to read it, okay from the New King
-
James Bible. For he had commanded the unclean spirit to
-
come out of the man, for it had often seized
-
him and he was kept under guard. Right, there's the word.
-
He was kept under guard, bound with chains and shackles,
-
and he broke the bonds and was driven by the
-
demon into the wilderness. Same exact case and form. Okay,
-
So that gives you good context here. So once again
-
that's g FI for forty two g fifty two. He
-
was kept bound with change, he was chained up. So
-
that's why you use this Greek word here. It means
-
to watch your to guard, to be on guard. So
-
this is literally saying that the word restrains. I mean,
-
if we were used if we were to use this
-
phraseology here from the New King James version, okay, it
-
would say the word has kept the son of tradition. Right,
-
that's why I told you to do it. That I
-
told you to break this verse into and then you
-
can come to grips with it. One thing is for sure.
-
Let me ask you this, Carol, does the false prophet
-
is he able to counter man God's will? Let's look
-
at this another way. I have drilled this into your head.
-
There is coming a time when the devil will ask
-
somebody the same thing. He asked, Jesus Christ, if you
-
worship me, I'll give you all the earth. Remember that. Yes, okay,
-
So let's think about this first phrase. It says the
-
word will restrain the son of tradition. Then it says
-
I will receive and I have received it. This verse
-
is saying that now he is being restrained, when he
-
is released, she will receive something and he will claim it.
-
It's very difficult to get here. I mean obviously, right,
-
I just read to you three different versions that all
-
said three different things. Now, the translation that's engross ayres
-
to Britons. It never said escape, It never said commandment,
-
it never said none of that junk. I mean, I
-
mean they made that, and I appreciate that. I mean
-
looking at it. I mean, I've given you all the
-
Greek words, and you say that you're set up. They're
-
looking at it. So how are you looking at it?
-
You're seeing the parceling information and the strongs. What what
-
are you looking at? Blue letter Bible or something.
-
I'm looking at the analytics septuagen and I'm also looking
-
at this the blue letter Bible. I've got a bunch
-
of them, so I trying to bring them all together.
-
Right, You're trying to do it, and you're like, what
-
this is next level, isn't it? This is like next level,
-
It's like, but you understand it is talking about the
-
restraining of the son of tradition. So when you know this, okay,
-
and you're able to process that information, eventually, it's going
-
to take you back whence you can. And we came
-
from Second Thessalonians chapter two. That's where we came from.
-
Now keep reading, Harold, I want you to read it.
-
Go to Second Thessalonians chapter two. Okay, okay, go to
-
verse three that's where we got it from, and just
-
keep reading. I want you to read all the way
-
to verse thirteen. So stop reading in verse twelve. So
-
read three through twelve. Go ahead.
-
Let no one deceive you by any means, for that
-
day will not come unless the falling away comes first,
-
and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,
-
who opposes and exalts himself about of all that is
-
called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits
-
as God in the Temple of God, showing himself that
-
he is God. Do you not remember that when I
-
was still with you, that I told you these things,
-
and now you know what is restraining that he may
-
be rebuilt in his own time. You want me to
-
go to verse nine.
-
Yes, I go to verse twelve. Keep reading till twelve.
-
And now you know what is restraining, that he may
-
be revealed in his own time. For the mystery of
-
lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains
-
will do so until he is taken out of the way,
-
and then the lawless one will be rebuilt, whom the
-
Lord will consume with the breath of his mouth and
-
destroy with the brightness of its coming. The coming of
-
the lawless one is according to the working of Satan,
-
with all power, signs and lying wonders, and with all
-
unrighteous deception among those who perish because they did not
-
receive the love of the truth that they might be saved.
-
And for this reason God will send them strong delusion
-
that they should believe the lie. And they all may
-
be condemned who did not believe the truth but had
-
pleasure in unrighteousness.
-
So, Carol, you would have to stay beyond any shadow
-
of a doubt. Now that I've pointed it out to you.
-
It can't be taken from you. Second, Thessalonians chapter two
-
is absolutely referring to Proverbs chapter twenty four, and there
-
is no way around it. It is referring to the
-
septuo agents Firse twenty one and twenty two. Twenty two
-
has more than one part. I mean, it's actually multiple verses.
-
But so it's a mystery of lawlessness.
-
One thanks, for sure.
-
Proverbs twenty two is the mystery of locklessness.
-
Yes, and one thing's for sure. We know who is
-
keeping it or guarding it. Logos. So, ladies and gentlemen,
-
if I've taken you by surprise, well it should. Let's
-
see what the mesoretic text has for these two verses, right,
-
So remember that all those verses are taken out. There's
-
only verse twenty two here. So this is what the
-
masoretic text says in the New King James version, my son,
-
fear the Lord and the King do not associate with
-
those given to change, for their calamity will rise suddenly,
-
and who knows the ruin those two can bring. So
-
fac noe. What the masoretic text is doing is removing
-
twenty two eight twenty two B twenty two C twenty
-
two D twenty two e five verses of being removed.
-
So if you were sitting there studying the son of
-
tradition and just ending right there in second Thessalonians, never
-
knowing what he's even referring to the to the restrainer, Well,
-
that's in black and white. The septuagen Proverbs twenty four,
-
verse twenty two A. It crowdly states what his restraining
-
this team that is to come this? What is he?
-
What did it say in the subdugon Let me look
-
at that again, verse twenty one. I'll look at it
-
here for you. It says fear God, son and Keith.
-
That's what it said. So when you know that, and
-
it doesn't say my son fear God in the king,
-
that ain't what it says. No, no, no, Son comes
-
after the word for God. So the Thompson absolutely dead
-
bang has it wrong. The Briton says, says the same thing,
-
my son feared God into king. No, no, that's not
-
what it says. No, no, no, no, no no no no.
-
The word son is after the word feels. So all right,
-
it's time to get off here. Any questions or comments.
-
We can talk about anything. This is the fellowship. So
-
going to get off topic, we certainly can anybody. No,
-
I have a quick and possibly off topic question. Okay,
-
my daughter got a book a while back.
-
About gemstones, and when she was reading that, and I
-
was just thinking when you said when you started this,
-
you said perdition. But this sounded an awful lot like
-
one of the stones in there, paradox. If you were
-
to spell the Hebrew, would that would.
-
That spell about the same? Yes, it would. Okay, I'm
-
just wondering. I figured there was a correlation. There always is. Well,
-
thanks for sure. He walked among the stones, Thus saith
-
the Lord in Ezekiel. Oh yeah.
-
Too.
-
Bet.
-
I didn't have the time to cover any of that either,
-
but I didn't so anyway, Jennifer, can you pray us
-
out of here?
-
Please, our Father, who are in heaven, how would be
-
thy name, thy kingdom? Come? I will be done on
-
earth as it is in heaven.
-
Give us a stayer daily bread.
-
Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass
-
against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us
-
from evil, for thine as a kingdom, and the power
-
from the glory forever and never Shamen.
-
Amen and Amen. Until next time, ladies and gentlemen, God bless,
-
God speed.
