So if you have your bibles, would you turn to Luke chapter 14.
Luke 14 chapter mention
-
Luke chapter 14.
Luke 14 chapter mention
-
As we are heading into the fall season and getting back to school
-
and just all of the things, I've been married almost 16 years
-
to my beautiful wife Morgan.
-
We have three girls and a boy.
-
My son Israel is here today.
-
I really felt like, yeah, give a shout out to Israel.
-
He's a on our annual Father Son trip every year for his birthday.
-
So yeah, as we're heading into the fall season, I really felt like
-
the Lord put a word in my spirit for V1 church that he was
-
going to help us fall in love with him all over again.
-
And so this morning I want to talk to you about the three stages
-
of love.
-
If I had a title for this message, it would be called the Table
-
of Encounter.
-
I'm going to preach the word, I'm going to pray for us, and then
-
I'm going to minister to several of you this morning.
-
And we just want to welcome all of the campuses from around the
-
nation that are joining us in V1 church.
-
Thank you guys so much.
-
Lord, thank you for this time in your word.
-
Lord, we ask that you would encounter each of our hearts in a
-
fresh way.
-
Jesus, we give you our yes, even this fall, that you would help
-
us to fall in love with you all over again.
-
In Jesus name, amen.
-
In John 14:16, Jesus tells his disciples, if you love me, you will
-
obey my commands.
-
I believe this morning that I'm talking to two groups of people.
-
The first group, you don't know God.
-
Maybe you stumbled in this morning or you're watching online
-
and I have to believe the Holy Spirit drew you to learn more about
-
God.
-
There's something that the Lord wants to meet in your heart
-
this morning.
-
But I believe mostly I'm talking, talking to people who are
-
committed to following Jesus.
-
Jesus made it really simple in the Gospels.
-
He said, if anyone would follow me, he must deny himself,
-
pick up his cross and follow Jesus.
-
So the way that I say it is in order to follow Jesus, you have to
-
unfollow yourself.
-
It's really easy, right?
-
So we have to die to our desires what we want.
-
And we're learning what it means to follow follow Jesus, what
-
it means to obey Him.
-
As we're learning how to obey Jesus, there are three primary ways
-
that we can love him and obey Him.
-
Today I want to talk about some of the motivations of our hearts
-
of why we're choosing to obey Jesus.
-
So number one, I want to talk to you about fear based obedience
-
if you're taking notes, it'll be on the screen behind me.
-
Fear Based Obedience.
-
This is fire insurance.
-
You made a lot of people who are following Jesus because they're
-
afraid of going to hell, right?
-
I don't know if you've ever met those people.
-
I call it fire insurance.
-
Hey man, I just want to make sure that my eternity is secure.
-
I believe that hell's a real place, but I'm just kind of trying
-
to follow Jesus because I don't want to go to hell or we fear
-
the consequences of sin.
-
Fear Based obedience.
-
I had a good friend growing up who was a drug addict and alcoholic,
-
just really running from God.
-
And there was a local church in our town that put on this production
-
called Hell's Flames and Heaven's Gates.
-
I don't know if you have ever been to one of those, but it basically
-
just talks to people about the reality of heaven and hell and it
-
shows you a drunk driver scene where a group of teenagers tragically
-
lost their lives to a drunk driver.
-
Weren't ready for that question of if you died today, are
-
you sure where you would spend eternity.
-
And he got shaken to the core.
-
He got so shaken to the core about the reality of hell that he
-
literally stopped doing drugs and alcohol that day, committed his
-
life to Jesus Christ.
-
And he's never looked back.
-
He's married, a millionaire, a great business, a great family.
-
So he started at Fear Based Obedience.
-
The next form of obedience is duty based obedience.
-
I grew up in Miami and then I was a pastor's son in Indianapolis,
-
Indiana for many years.
-
I currently live in Charlotte, North Carolina where we have a church
-
and a ministry.
-
But we refer to our circles as the Bible Belt.
-
Meaning like you're saved, I'm saved, we're all saved kind of thing.
-
So a lot of people that are following Jesus out of duty and obligation,
-
hey, I go to church because it's my parents faith.
-
Hey, I'm trying to serve God because this is the right thing to
-
do.
-
A lot of people who sit in church, we have this like, yeah,
-
I mean, the Bible says don't steal.
-
The Bible says don't murder.
-
The Bible says don't commit adultery.
-
The Bible says don't have sex before marriage.
-
There's a lot of different things in there that people try to
-
follow God out of duty and obligation.
-
I know for me, being raised a pastor's son, you didn't even have
-
a choice, right?
-
You're going to church and you're going to church early.
-
And if you're a pastor's kid, you got church every day, okay?
-
And so I just kind of grew up in it.
-
But I stand before you here today as a preacher, but my brother
-
right under me is a prisoner at a federal penitentiary in Florida.
-
How did two boys who grew up in the same home, one became a preacher
-
and one is locked up in a federal prison?
-
It's because there's a difference between knowing about
-
God and knowing God.
-
There's a difference between singing words on a screen and then
-
having them written on your heart.
-
There's a lot of people who just go to church on Sunday, check
-
a box, and then live like the world Monday to Saturday because
-
they are bound in duty based, obligatory religion.
-
And they haven't moved into the third form of obedience which
-
you'll see on your screen.
-
Affection based obedience.
-
Okay, so you have fear based obedience, you have duty based obedience,
-
and then you have affection based obedience.
-
It's out of encountering Jesus, experiencing his love and
-
affection.
-
I tell people it's really this simple.
-
You fall so in love with Jesus that you fall out of love with the
-
world.
-
You can tell whether people are bound in religion or not by listening
-
to them repent.
-
People bound in religion repent of breaking rules.
-
People who live in religion repent of breaking his heart.
-
Lord, I'm just sorry.
-
I broke all the rules and I screwed up again.
-
You're just going to be back there next week.
-
Lord, I recognize that I'm in a relationship with you, a love relationship
-
with you.
-
I tell our congregation in Charlotte we have the best dad in
-
the entire world.
-
When I got delivered of being an orphan and God wasn't just some
-
busy middle class father up in the sky who I kind of bothered when
-
I prayed.
-
When I got delivered of all of that stinking thinking and I got
-
connected to a father who loves me, who cares for me, who wants
-
relationship with me, and has invited me to follow him.
-
There is so much joy and there is so much satisfaction in following
-
him.
-
So these are the ways that we can serve God, the ways that we can
-
obey God and the motivation why.
-
Okay, so people don't burn out on God because they go to church
-
too much.
-
People burn out on God because of why they go to church.
-
In Matthew 4, 5 and 6, Jesus talks to them.
-
When you fast, when you pray, when you give.
-
So he's not saying you shouldn't fast, you shouldn't pray,
-
you shouldn't give.
-
He's saying when you do it, don't be like the Pharisees who do
-
it to be seen by Men, he's addressing the motivations of their
-
heart.
-
Okay, so again, bottom line, Jesus said, if you love me, you will
-
obey my commands.
-
John 14:15.
-
Any man that says, I love God and lives in darkness is a liar.
-
Not JJ Translation.
-
That's one John one.
-
Okay, so you gotta like establish.
-
Okay, so like, we have adopted this form of American Christianity
-
where we can't even tell who are the goats and who are the sheep.
-
It doesn't even matter who shows up to church on Sunday or not.
-
Something hasn't shifted in people's minds.
-
Something hasn't happened in their heart.
-
And I believe one of the things that needs to happen in people's
-
minds in their hearts is we need to fall in love with Jesus all
-
over again.
-
We need a fresh encounter of his love.
-
We need to say, lord, thank you for, hey, you know, hell is a
-
reality.
-
I don't want to pay the consequences of my sin.
-
Great start there.
-
All right.
-
Some of us, hey, it's the duty, it's the religion.
-
We're just kind of.
-
But again, I know for me, that got my brother in a federal prison.
-
It didn't.
-
He did.
-
He knew that.
-
It's like, you know the scriptures, but do the scriptures
-
know you?
-
Well, I go to church.
-
Well, I, you know, I weep with parents across the country and the
-
world.
-
I've been over 25 nations now, 43 states are like, I raised my kid
-
in church.
-
But maybe that was the problem because there's a difference between
-
raising your kid in church and raising them in Jesus.
-
Bringing them to church on Sunday, bringing them to church on
-
Sunday, and acting a different way at home breeds hypocrisy.
-
So again, when you begin to encounter Jesus, it changes the way
-
you think, it changes the way you act.
-
It changes the way who you hang out with.
-
The Bible's pretty clear.
-
Bad company corrupts good character.
-
So if you fall so in love with Jesus, you're probably going to fall
-
out of friendship with people who love the world more than Jesus.
-
I'm pretty sure if I told my wife I loved her and then cheated
-
on her, she would say, you're a liar.
-
We cannot say that we love Jesus and we're following him and
-
we're looking and acting and talking like the world good.
-
So one of the examples that I give on my journey of learning how
-
to love God and obey him, when we talk about affection based obedience,
-
I'm talking about longevity.
-
Okay?
-
I want to give you a trajectory.
-
I want to paint a picture for you that you can consistently love
-
God and make decisions that are congruent with his Word.
-
You can be a faithful follower of Jesus if you'll learn how to live
-
out of affection for him.
-
But all these other options, your Christianity looks like this.
-
We go to this.
-
I do it like this.
-
He loves me, he loves me not.
-
Check walking on that.
-
He loves me, he loves me not a lot of people.
-
Again, you have seasons where you're on fire for God and then you
-
have seasons where you're doing stupid stuff again.
-
Is that a nice way to say that you have seasons where, oh God, I
-
love you.
-
I've been free from this for a week.
-
And then here we go again.
-
What happened?
-
Affection based obedience.
-
It's consistent faithfulness.
-
It's the same Jeremiah you see right here.
-
Today is the same man of God.
-
I am at home.
-
I hate hypocrisy.
-
I am so tired of preachers acting one way at church.
-
I'm just tired of Christianity in general.
-
Lukewarm Christianity.
-
Fake it till you make it.
-
We need a revelation and a revolution in the church today of
-
people who, out of a love and an experience of God, learn how to
-
love him.
-
So I graduated from Southeastern University in Lakeland,
-
Florida.
-
I was born in Hollywood, Florida, grew up in Indiana and then
-
came back to Florida.
-
I missed it so much and went to college there.
-
And I did 18 credit hours and my job, because I had to pay for
-
everything was I cleaned toilets 40 hours a week as a custodian.
-
Very humbling season of my life.
-
And I would say I was a busy bachelor.
-
I literally did school, I did work, I worked out and I ate just
-
around the clock, very regimented schedule until a girl
-
on campus gave me some attention.
-
It's amazing to me when I look back at that season, how I had to
-
have a certain amount of sleep, how I was on a certain budget.
-
But the moment a girl named Morgan showed interest in me, I was
-
on the phone till four in the morning.
-
I was spending money on dates I didn't have.
-
What happened?
-
I began to have an experience.
-
I entered into a relationship.
-
There was a realm of affection.
-
I want you to listen to me.
-
There was a realm of affection I encountered that overrode how tired
-
I was, that overrode how much money I had.
-
So there was an experience, an encounter in a love relationship
-
that delivered me from being, oh, I need this much sleep.
-
I had to have this much money.
-
And when we got together, I didn't say, oh man, I spent so much
-
money on this date, oh gee, I'd rather be watching Football right
-
now, but I guess we can hang out.
-
But people come to church and think the whole time, wow, I can't
-
wait till this ends.
-
We haven't really had an encounter with God yet.
-
That overrides our Netflix binge.
-
Here in America, you can barely get people to church on Sunday.
-
You try to get into prayer.
-
I don't have time.
-
Try to get him to serve.
-
I don't have time.
-
God forbid you take up the tithes and offerings.
-
Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope.
-
But I can just tell you, as a father of three girls and a wife,
-
they pretty much get what they asked for.
-
They got me on this.
-
Why?
-
There's love, there's affection, There's.
-
It is my great joy.
-
It is my great pleasure as a husband and a father to willingly
-
and lovingly give them the desires of my heart.
-
Because it's called love.
-
Is there a love in your heart for Jesus today where you will willingly
-
and delightfully give the desires of his heart?
-
Will you fall in love with him again?
-
So many of these messages that we hear on repentance and revival
-
and, you know, if you're like me, you got a sports background.
-
I'm like, all right, I gotta.
-
I gotta pull, pull.
-
You know, I gotta get geared up.
-
I gotta.
-
So I can just serve God another day.
-
I gotta.
-
Some of you, your Christianity, you're just pushing
-
through.
-
You're pushing through.
-
You're pushing through.
-
When God says, stop, I want to bring you into an intimate relationship
-
with me where it's out of loving me that you'll learn how to
-
obey me.
-
How many of you would like to get off the roller coaster of Christianity,
-
folks?
-
There's a place.
-
Like, there's a place.
-
The Bible says there are pleasures in God's presence forevermore.
-
Let me throw something at you.
-
You can write it down or quote me on this.
-
Okay.
-
To sin, the invitation to sin.
-
It is not the gaining of pleasure, it is the loss of it.
-
Why?
-
Because true pleasure is found in Jesus.
-
We were born for intimacy with Jesus.
-
You're not.
-
We're not missing out on anything that the world has to offer.
-
But you think that you are.
-
If you haven't met Jesus yet, the enticement.
-
I'm telling you, there's a place in Jesus where you won't wake
-
up every day tempted to sin.
-
It's not, oh, I've been delivered from alcohol because I
-
don't go to the bar again.
-
No.
-
Because when you go to the bar again, you just face the same temptation
-
and fall.
-
No.
-
Fully being delivered of Alcohol is.
-
I can be around it and I no longer have the craving for it anymore.
-
That's real deliverance.
-
But again, you call God, I'm going to go to hell if I get wasted
-
again.
-
Oh, God, I know this is the wrong thing.
-
Oh, oh.
-
The fight over temptation.
-
You will not have consistent victory in your life that Jesus died
-
again for and rose again.
-
We will not have that consistent connection with him if
-
we don't say, lord, I need to fall in love with you.
-
Lord, deliver me from going through the motions thinking that
-
just because I go to church, I'm right with you.
-
Lord, I want a real relationship with you.
-
Some of us this morning, sin is weighing on you.
-
The things that we do in secret, the guilt, the shame, the
-
condemnation.
-
That's why God brought you here today to speak freedom over
-
your life.
-
But you don't get washed, hear me?
-
You don't get washed and delivered of all that because check,
-
I made it to church today.
-
That is religious obligation and duty that we already talked about.
-
But if we begin to walk, I can.
-
Let me give you another example.
-
I just, if you're there in Luke 14, we'll jump into this.
-
Luke 14, 16.
-
I just try to give people practical examples, right.
-
I want to talk to parents in here.
-
You know, me and my wife are desiring to raise our children in
-
a home where their Christianity is not based off of
-
us forcing them to do things.
-
So for me, when I walk by my 13 year old daughter's room at night
-
and she is reading her Bible and listening to worship music, I
-
didn't make her, I didn't force her.
-
That's what I'm talking about.
-
That's out of a heart.
-
That's encountering God as her own possession.
-
That's what's gonna keep her when she graduates high school.
-
So as parent, you're forcing your kids.
-
You're oh, do this.
-
That's I believe most, that's all they've ever known.
-
I'm here because I have to.
-
I'm here because I don't want to go to hell.
-
No.
-
What if I'm here because I just couldn't wait to be with Jesus
-
today?
-
You're being tempted to lust, you're being tempted to drink.
-
No, I don't think so because I'm too in love with him.
-
How did I go from a busy bachelor, no money, no time to meeting
-
a girl?
-
And everything changed.
-
It was because I experienced a realm of affection and devotion that
-
overrode what time it was, how much money.
-
I pray today in Jesus name that we would begin to encounter
-
God in such an extravagant way that when the invitation, when the
-
temptations of sin come knocking people, oh, how many drinks
-
can I have?
-
Is it one drink?
-
Is it two drinks?
-
Is it how many cigarettes?
-
How many vapes?
-
You're asking how many girls?
-
You're asking all the wrong questions.
-
Would you have any if he was standing right there?
-
But it's about proximity.
-
It's about relationship.
-
It's about you realize the God of the world is living on the inside
-
of you.
-
A holy God is living.
-
So when you look at that computer screen, he's looking too.
-
When you're in that car, he's there too.
-
When you.
-
When you so it's relationship, it's presence, it's awareness, it's
-
learning how to host Jesus.
-
Well, how do I know if it's rated RPG 13?
-
Connect with Jesus, fall in love with him, and he'll determine
-
what you can watch and not watch by whether you're grieving
-
him or not.
-
I just.
-
I want to see a generation live in consistent private and public
-
victory with Jesus.
-
I want to see a generation delivered from hypocrisy, the mask
-
of I'm a Christian on Sunday and I live for the world.
-
I want to be see a generation of children growing up in the church
-
wiling out at 18.
-
I want to see that cycle broken because parents and grandparents
-
are beginning to cultivate intimacy with Jesus on a daily basis.
-
And just while I'm at it, it's not the church's responsibility to
-
disciple your kids.
-
That's your job, Mom.
-
That's your job, dad.
-
It is our responsibility to cultivate an atmosphere in our homes
-
that Jesus is worthy to dwell in, dropping them off for an hour
-
on Sunday and doing whatever we want during the week in our homes.
-
We cannot sow bad seed and wonder why we're reaping a harvest
-
of evil.
-
Sow eternity into your children.
-
Put the word of God down on the inside of them.
-
Lead by example.
-
Let's stop giving God our leftovers and let's give him our
-
very best.
-
Amen.
-
Luke 14, verse 16.
-
A certain man was giving a big dinner, and he invited many.
-
And at the dinner hour he sent his slave to say, those who had been
-
invited, come, for everything is ready now.
-
But they all alike began to make excuses.
-
Can you say excuses?
-
The first one said to him, I've bought a piece of land and I
-
need to go out and look at it.
-
Please consider me excused.
-
And another one said, I bought five yoke of oxen And I going to
-
try them out.
-
Please consider me excused.
-
And another one said, I've married a wife and for that reason
-
I can't come.
-
And the slave came back and reported this to his master.
-
Then the head of the household became angry and said to the slave,
-
go out at once into the streets and lanes of the city and
-
bring in here the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame.
-
And the slave said, master, what you have commanded, I have done.
-
And still there's room.
-
And the master said to the slave, go into the highways and along
-
the hedges and compel them to come that my house may be filled.
-
For I tell you, none of those men who are invited shall taste of
-
my dinner.
-
If I had a title for this morning's message, it's the Table
-
of Encounters.
-
Jesus is telling a story about a man who had a dinner.
-
He is inviting people to his table.
-
The word of God says, taste and see that I am good.
-
There is always an invitation to come and follow Jesus.
-
We are learning what it means to obey him.
-
But in this story, there are three excuses why they can't come.
-
When God knocks on the door of our heart and said, hey, I need to
-
spend time with you.
-
Hey, I need some money.
-
Hey, hey, hey.
-
And whether we act like we didn't hear him, whether we ignore
-
him, whatever, the ways of the world are too strong on us.
-
But these excuses that are in this story have always bothered me
-
because none of them are inherently sinful.
-
If I read this story, like, hey, this guy said, eh, I'm going
-
to go to the bar tonight.
-
I can't come.
-
I'm like, okay, this guy says, ah, I'm going to smoke marijuana,
-
okay?
-
But these things oxen, a wife and a piece of land, none of them
-
are sinful.
-
Have you ever wondered what was so evil about Isaac that God
-
asked Abraham for him?
-
See that you're in this room and let me land the plane.
-
We're in this room, most of us, because you've given your life
-
to Jesus.
-
People watching online, you're in church on Sunday because you're
-
following Jesus.
-
If that's you, just raise your hand.
-
You're following Jesus.
-
You're trying to figure out what it looks like to obey him.
-
So most of us have a story.
-
We have a testimony.
-
Hey, in our BC days, our before Christ days, I was.
-
You fill in the blank.
-
I was an addict, I was this, I was that.
-
I lived a sinful, habitual lifestyle and I gave my life to Jesus.
-
Amen.
-
So a preacher will come and say, hey, Repent.
-
Hey, give your life to Jesus.
-
Hey, obey him.
-
And many people, Christians, say he's not talking to me.
-
That doesn't apply to me because I've already repented of
-
my sinful behavior.
-
But in this story, the excuses that are being given have nothing
-
to do with sin.
-
What if it wasn't that Isaac was evil?
-
What if the gift that God had given Abraham became a God?
-
What if what's keeping you from a next level encounter with
-
Jesus isn't your sin stuff?
-
What if it's the good stuff?
-
Have you ever had that happen?
-
Like, I'm in my recliner at home, Pastor Harvey, and like, you
-
know, I'm watching a television show.
-
I'm just like, trying to veg out.
-
There's nothing sinful in what I'm watching.
-
And all of a sudden I feel the glory of God in my room.
-
And I hear that knocking on the door of my heart.
-
And I'm saying to the Lord God, but there's nothing evil about
-
this show.
-
There's not in the Lord's.
-
Like, it's not about the evil stuff in the show.
-
It's about my desire to be with you as my son.
-
There are people in this room.
-
There are people that are watching online who the Lord is saying
-
this.
-
The deeper you go in me, the less you can take with you.
-
There are people in this room.
-
You're in a relationship with someone, one they are not who God
-
has for you.
-
Well, Lord, the Lord is saying, come be with me.
-
Come spend a season with me.
-
Come, come.
-
Anybody ever heard of Netflix?
-
Ever heard of y'?
-
All?
-
There are so many things in our lives.
-
You heard of Facebook, Instagram?
-
Some of us scroll social media more than we scroll the Bible.
-
Are you staring at?
-
Well, no, it's not inherently evil, but it's become a distraction.
-
Are there any men in here where your wife does not accept communication
-
when you're doing this?
-
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
-
Put the phone down.
-
I need eye contact.
-
I literally feel like the Lord is saying to many of us, put the
-
phone down.
-
I need eye contact.
-
I, I, I need a, I need a fresh.
-
Yes.
-
So I just want to prophesy over you.
-
I was up in the hotel all night last night.
-
I believe the Lord is saying to V1 Church if you're a guest.
-
I believe there's an invitation from the Lord this fall,
-
this fall, I want you to fall in love with me again, says the Lord.
-
And what it's going to take to fall in love with him again is to
-
say, okay, Lord, where am I fear based obedience, duty based
-
obedience.
-
Or how do I get into this?
-
Lord, I choose you for love.
-
Lord, I say no to temptation for love.
-
I want to pray for us today concerning that.
-
Thank you, Lord.
-
Can you bow your heads with me?
-
Lord, I thank you for your sweet, sweet presence that's here
-
today.
-
It's in this room.
-
It's flowing all across every campus.
-
Holy Spirit, would you come and massage our hearts?
-
There's a song that says, I'm coming back to the heart of worship
-
because it's all about you.
-
You.
-
It's all about you, Jesus.
-
I'm sorry, Lord, for the thing I've made it.
-
Lord, forgive us for just checking off religious boxes.
-
Lord, I feel led to pray.
-
God, would you protect anyone in this room, Protect anyone in this
-
room and watching online from any relationships that we do not
-
need to be in.
-
I feel like the Lord is talking to some single ladies in
-
here.
-
You don't need to stop your pursuit of Jesus so he can catch
-
up.
-
You keep running for Jesus.
-
Do not settle.
-
Do not settle.
-
I see some of you just giving, giving Jesus.
-
This fall.
-
I'm not going to date this fall.
-
I'm going to consecrate myself this fall.
-
I'm going to focus on loving Jesus.
-
Thank you, Lord.
-
Thank you, Jesus.
-
Holy Spirit, we ask that you'd begin to move, that you'd begin to
-
stir hearts.
-
We say, yes, Lord.
-
The Bible says repentance brings refreshing.
-
Some of you are just going to feel that tug, like, oh, yeah, that,
-
Lord, that I repent, Lord.
-
I give that to you.
-
Lord.
-
God is confronting someone about excessive spending.
-
You're spending so much money on things you have no money to give
-
to God's kingdom.
-
But we thank you, God, that you're bringing conviction.
-
Lord is talking to some of us about how we spend our time.
-
Put down the phone.
-
I need fresh eye contact in this season.
-
I want to begin to minister to some of you even now.
-
Sir, you're in the second row.
-
You have a black sweatshirt on.
-
Would you stand to your feet?
-
Father, I thank you for this man.
-
I just see a big heart over you today, the father's heart.
-
And I just get this picture, this word.
-
Home, home, home.
-
The Lord says, come home, stay at home, live at home.
-
Live at home with me.
-
So, Lord, I pray for a fresh encounter of love to be poured out
-
upon this man from the top of his head to the bottom of his feet.
-
Duty hasn't got you through.
-
Obligation hasn't got.
-
I sense you have a sense of religion.
-
But the Lord says, today is a day of fresh encounter with me.
-
The Lord says, you're a soul winner.
-
You are a soul winner.
-
You are meant to invite people into fresh encounter with Jesus.
-
I see you catching men like the disciples coming, taught men.
-
I see you having one foot in the marketplace and one foot in the
-
house of God.
-
There's a new era evangelist anointing upon you.
-
Spirit of the sovereign Lord is upon you.
-
He's anointed you to preach the good news, to bind up the brokenhearted
-
and proclaim freedom to the captives.
-
Thank you, Jesus.
-
Young lady, will you stand?
-
How old are you?
-
21, 24?
-
Father, I thank you for this young lady.
-
Lord, I thank you.
-
The Lord says what I began in you years ago.
-
Something about your life that has been consecrated to God.
-
Something about who you are that is destined for greatness.
-
And the Lord says, I've marked you for eternity.
-
I have put a preach down on the inside of you.
-
I sense a.
-
A call to vocational ministry.
-
And the Lord says that I want to consecrate you further, even from
-
your youth.
-
It's just like man, Lord, why can't I do what they do and go where
-
they go?
-
And the Lord is saying, it's because I'm inviting you into intimacy.
-
I'm inviting you.
-
And the Lord says, there's a nation's call on you.
-
There's a nation's call call on you.
-
I believe that there's something about travel that you will.
-
You will not only preach God's word, you will interpret God's word
-
for other people.
-
The Lord says, there is a communication gift on you for the
-
nations and the youth of the nations.
-
The Lord says, I've created you like dynamite.
-
I literally believe the Lord has called you to break demonic strongholds.
-
But the Lord says, you are mine.
-
You are mine.
-
You are mine.
-
And the Lord says, the gold and the silver are mine.
-
I break every spirit of poverty that's tried to come into
-
your life so that you might think serving God means you have
-
to be poor.
-
I just release a blessing on your life.
-
And I said, fully funded in Jesus name.
-
Fully funded in Jesus name.
-
The Lord says that I desire that you would be equally yoked.
-
Equally yoked.
-
Equally yoked.
-
Equally yoked in Jesus name.
-
Amen.
-
Ma', am, you're in the 1, 2, 3, on the end.
-
Will you stand?
-
Do you know this girl next to you like friends, sisters?
-
Okay, can you both come down to the front?
-
Thank you, Lord.
-
Father, I thank you for these fiery women.
-
Lord, I thank you for a Mary and an Elizabeth, I thank you, Lord,
-
for you guys are.
-
There's something birthing on the inside of you.
-
There's a cry for more, a cry for more of the Holy Spirit to see
-
him move in marriage and family in the marketplace.
-
And I just release a fire over you today.
-
As firebrands, we thank you for a fresh anointing of the Holy
-
Spirit and fire.
-
I cut off every spirit of offense in Jesus name.
-
You guys are in a season where he is separating you and some people
-
will become offended because you're not going to hang out and
-
compromise anymore.
-
You're not going to hang around lukewarm people.
-
I'm not saying you are.
-
It's the people around you.
-
And the Lord says, I'm cutting off the spirit of offense.
-
Don't pursue people that I've separated you from.
-
Let them go.
-
And there's.
-
I feel tremors in the spirit.
-
I feel a shaking happening where the Lord is going to begin
-
to more.
-
More encounter, more presence, more devotion.
-
And the Lord says, you guys are oily ones.
-
Oily ones.
-
Oily ones.
-
Lord, I thank you for fresh oil of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.
-
You guys, are you together, married?
-
Can you stand?
-
Lord, I thank you for this couple in Jesus name.
-
Lord, I thank you that you are inviting them.
-
You are inviting them.
-
This might sound crazy.
-
I think this is being recorded, so just listen to it later.
-
You guys are called to minister to married couples and to
-
walk them out of religion into revival.
-
Revival.
-
And many of them, many of these couples are just.
-
They're not sure about the Holy Spirit stuff.
-
Many of them have a form of religious background.
-
But you guys, I see you guys baptizing couples in pools like at
-
homes.
-
It's not like, oh, come to church, keep coming to church.
-
But you guys, I prophesy to you, you are going to meet couples
-
where they're at.
-
You're going to meet couples in homes, in different places.
-
And the Lord says, there's a gift of creativity, ma', am, that
-
God is unlocking in you.
-
There's a creative anointing where you have the power to reach
-
people and spaces and places.
-
And there's a marketplace mandate on your life lives, a marketplace
-
mandate to bless people where they're at and introduce them to
-
the deep things of God.
-
And in Jesus name, I break every generational curse off of your
-
bloodline and I release family revival.
-
Wow.
-
There is a breaker anointing on your life to see your family be
-
delivered and set free.
-
But I break.
-
Just bring it down.
-
I break the spirit of witchcraft off of your lives.
-
There is a spirit of manipulation that has come upon you
-
through a family member.
-
And the Lord is saying, I'm breaking manipulation, intimidation.
-
The Lord says, beware of bribes, beware of money or invitations
-
through family.
-
That would try to strong arm you, that would try to paralyze you,
-
that would try to take your voice from you.
-
And you're in a season right now.
-
The Lord is helping you to find your voice, helping you to leave
-
the past and move forward.
-
And so, Lord, I just.
-
Do you have children?
-
Lord, I thank you in Jesus name that you are opening up something
-
in this season, that you are opening up something.
-
You are giving.
-
He's giving you the green light.
-
There is a green light that I see where even something coming is
-
going to break generational curses.
-
What the Lord is going to do through you is going to speak a word
-
against your accusers and your manipulators.
-
In Jesus name, I speak a blessing over your marriage covenant.
-
And Jesus name, I declare over you that what God has brought together,
-
no man will separate.
-
And you will see a deeper union.
-
You will see a deeper covenant.
-
And sir, I just break workaholicism off of you.
-
The Lord is saying, will you trust me?
-
You are working too hard.
-
You are harder on yourself than God is harder on you.
-
And the Lord says, son, you're going to about.
-
You're about to walk in a father's delight anointing.
-
You have something from your childhood where you're trying to
-
prove something.
-
You're trying to be a man.
-
And the Father says, son, I see you.
-
I love you and I'm proud of you.
-
I'm proud of you.
-
I love you.
-
You are mine.
-
Thank you, Jesus.
-
Just want.
-
As you're sitting, just reach up like this.
-
So the love of God is here.
-
The glory of God is here.
-
The presence of God is here.
-
Just reach up and say, I receive it, Lord.
-
Romans 5, 5.
-
The love of God has been poured out into our hearts through
-
the Holy Spirit.
-
Holy Spirit.
-
Thank you.
-
Brother in the back and the glasses, you greeted me.
-
Coming on in, man, you are the Father's son.
-
I heard the Lord say, that's my boy.
-
That's my boy.
-
The Lord says, son, I have called you as a protector.
-
I have called you as a defender.
-
And there's something in you that hates bullies.
-
And the Lord says, son, there's an anointing on your life
-
to set captives free.
-
There's an anointing on your life.
-
So, brother in the red, will you come down?
-
And then brother Will you come down too?
-
Just stand two feet apart.
-
Just two feet apart.
-
You can still be friends, just separate things.
-
I don't want you guys to get confused.
-
What's your name?
-
George.
-
Father, I thank you.
-
For George, who the son sets free is free indeed.
-
I release a fresh wave of freedom over you today.
-
That you are mighty.
-
I see royalty on you.
-
The way that you see yourself is not the way that your Father in
-
heaven sees you.
-
I believe in you, says the Lord.
-
I'm with you and I am for you.
-
Romans 8:28 is a verse I'm getting from the Lord.
-
All things work together for the good.
-
The Lord says, I will use all things that have happened in your
-
life to bring about my purposes.
-
And last thing, God says, thanks for not quitting when it would
-
have been easy to turn away and forsake God.
-
You stood.
-
And the Lord says, because you've stood, I am standing with
-
you.
-
And let's walk together, together together as father and son.
-
Let's walk together, together together as father and son into your
-
future that I have for you in Jesus name, Amen.
-
Bless you, bro.
-
The Lord says that I have anointed you to capture the robber.
-
The Lord says that there is a thievery and there is a spirit of
-
robbery that set loose in the land that is stealing destiny from
-
young people.
-
And the Lord says, son, I have have put a spirit of justice in you.
-
I have put a spirit in you that wants to see every wrong made
-
right.
-
And the Lord says, do not fear.
-
I break the spirit of fear off of your life.
-
In Jesus name, there is no fear in love.
-
And the Lord says, you will no longer deal with hesitation.
-
You will no longer deal with timidity or fear.
-
For I'm putting a spirit of faith on the inside of you.
-
Faith for more.
-
The Lord says, son, there's destiny on you more than just this
-
region.
-
The Lord says that you will not be locked down, you will not
-
be limited to this geographic region.
-
For the Lord says that there's a ministry that he's given you that
-
you will be used to see the youth set free and the spirit of
-
robbery broken off of them.
-
In Jesus name, Amen.
-
Amen.
-
Let's just lift our hands to the Lord.
-
Father, we thank you.
-
We thank you that you're here, Lord.
-
You've taught on encounter and now you've demonstrated it, that
-
we might know that you are real, that you love us, and that
-
our best days are not behind us.
-
They're ahead of us.
-
In Jesus name, Amen.
-
God bless you all.
-
Thank you so much, Sam.
