  1. Foreign.

  2. So this leads me to the sermon.

  3. Your brain is wired to stop you before God sends you.

  4. In.

  5. Aviation V1 is the critical moment in takeoff where the pilot

  6. is fully committed.

  7. Now, here's the thing.

  8. If the engine fails, if there's turbulence, if a warning

  9. light flashes, you still go.

  10. Because you have so much speed down that Runway that that thrust

  11. and lift, the greater force of nature takes over and you begin to

  12. fly.

  13. You cannot abort takeoff once you've gone v1.

  14. The problem is, most of us in our life have never fully gone V1

  15. yet.

  16. And so last week I gave three Bs.

  17. And my expectation is that our entire church understands this.

  18. In order to go V1 number one, you have to battle like Caleb.

  19. Caleb said the promised land is filled with giants.

  20. I don't expect God to give me the promise without giving me problems.

  21. Because the problems are how he does something in me.

  22. The problems are my teachers.

  23. Your teachers are not your curriculum in college.

  24. Your teachers are pain and suffering.

  25. And some people pass the written test, but not the living

  26. test.

  27. Come on.

  28. And so you battle like Caleb.

  29. I didn't expect anybody to give me Long Island.

  30. The kingdom of heaven suffers violence and the violent take Long

  31. island by force.

  32. Come on.

  33. I don't care if it is a soccer stadium.

  34. It's gonna be a church.

  35. Because I said.

  36. And I can battle like Caleb.

  37. If you're sitting in that Brooklyn location right now, you're

  38. sitting in that location because I showed up and I said, I'm

  39. not expecting anybody to give me Brooklyn.

  40. I'm taking Brooklyn.

  41. And me and Heather Wrigley, we prayer walk that joint.

  42. And we got that venue supernaturally that you're sitting

  43. in right now.

  44. So somebody shall battle.

  45. Come on.

  46. Oh.

  47. To my single people in this whole section right now, God is gonna

  48. give you a spouse.

  49. But when you reach the promised land called marriage, there

  50. is going to be giants in there.

  51. Giants called past woundedness, past rejection, fear

  52. of failure.

  53. Come on.

  54. Low self esteem.

  55. Just because you get married doesn't mean that you step into perfection.

  56. Hello.

  57. And so you gotta learn how to battle for your marriage.

  58. Right?

  59. I fought everybody.

  60. Oh, it must be nice.

  61. Yeah, work harder.

  62. You can have it, too.

  63. Must be nice to have a marriage like Mike and Julie's.

  64. Well, do you want my counseling, Bill?

  65. Just like you want my marriage.

  66. Come on.

  67. Do you want my date night, Bill?

  68. Just like you want my marriage.

  69. Come on.

  70. Yeah, it must be nice.

  71. It's nice if you'll fight for it.

  72. Okay, y' all with me.

  73. Somebody shout battle.

  74. Okay, this is A good.

  75. This is a good series.

  76. This is helping people.

  77. 10,000 plus people logging in for this.

  78. Come on, somebody shout, log in number two.

  79. So you go from battle, you gotta break.

  80. You gotta learn how to break.

  81. You gotta learn how to break.

  82. You gotta learn how to break.

  83. What do I'm talking about?

  84. Most people, they spritz, they fragrance, they essence, but they

  85. never break.

  86. I don't know about V1.

  87. I'm gonna hold it in reserve.

  88. I've even got staff members who act like that sometimes.

  89. I don't know if this is for me.

  90. I don't know if this is a forever thing or it's a now thing.

  91. No, no, no.

  92. V1 is a covenant church, not a commitment.

  93. Ch going to work out if you're coming.

  94. Trying me out like a local restaurant.

  95. It ain't like that.

  96. It's not.

  97. Choose your flavor.

  98. If you don't like the flavor, come back into the kitchen and help

  99. me work.

  100. If you don't like the church, join the team and make it better.

  101. This is a covenant thing.

  102. Come on.

  103. And so when people.

  104. I don't know what I think about.

  105. I don't know what heaven thinks about you, because you've

  106. never battled, you're never broken.

  107. Come on.

  108. And I don't know what I think about Mike.

  109. I don't know what heaven thinks about you, but I know what

  110. hell thinks about me.

  111. And I'm looking for some people that will break with me, some

  112. people that'll just take a break with me.

  113. Anybody will go on a vacation with you, but who will go into battle

  114. with you?

  115. The US Military doesn't advance because we got a whole bunch

  116. of fair weather people.

  117. Well, I'm here for the GI Bill to go to college.

  118. Well, you can die trying to get that college money doing it for

  119. that reason.

  120. And why are you treating the local church the same way?

  121. I'm here to receive, but I'm not here to give.

  122. That's dangerous.

  123. The kingdom of heaven has only been advanced by those who covenant.

  124. And the apex of commitment is covenant.

  125. Somebody say break.

  126. The alabaster box was not one woman.

  127. It's supposed to be every woman.

  128. After the.

  129. After the cross, the alabaster box was not just one person.

  130. It's supposed to be all of us.

  131. After the cross, when they stuck Jesus with that.

  132. With that spear and water began to pour out of his side, what

  133. was actually happening was he's saying, I've poured my life

  134. out.

  135. Now will you pour yours out too?

  136. Are you with me?

  137. So this church on Long Island, I don't know if I feel like I want

  138. to go this Sunday.

  139. What if Jesus said, I don't know if I feel like going to the

  140. cross today?

  141. It's not about church attendance.

  142. It's about the representation of covenant and what this church,

  143. this church is extreme.

  144. We are, we are not a cruise liner.

  145. We're a warship.

  146. Right.

  147. And that's the thing is if you want a cruise liner, you go sign

  148. up for the Mickey Mouse program.

  149. I tried to sign my own wife up for the Mickey Mouse program.

  150. I tried to get on the Disney cruise.

  151. Y' all heard the story last week, but my wife said no, we're

  152. a warship and we're going throughout the earth and we're doing

  153. what God called us to do.

  154. And so it's not about, I don't feel like attending.

  155. I'd rather you to show up to church unshowered, dirty, wrinkled

  156. shirt.

  157. But you're here because every class has a role, every army has

  158. an enlistment, every team has a roster.

  159. And so show up to church every week and say, God, you can count

  160. on me.

  161. I'm praying with my church.

  162. I'm giving with my.

  163. This ain't popular prayer preaching.

  164. Because everybody wants to be committed, but only very few want

  165. to be covenanted.

  166. But the way we're going to change Long island is covenanting

  167. to each other.

  168. We're going to change Brooklyn.

  169. Not because Brooklyn was a temporary thing or I felt like a

  170. thing, because Brooklyn is the only plan.

  171. It's plan A.

  172. There is no plan B for Manhattan.

  173. There is no plan B.

  174. How many of you want a covenant?

  175. Battle.

  176. Battle.

  177. Break my life open.

  178. God.

  179. Last but not least, burn.

  180. Burn.

  181. Burn.

  182. Burn.

  183. Burn God.

  184. Burn me up.

  185. Burn up my selfish desires.

  186. Burn up my man made strategy.

  187. This is why.

  188. This is why prophets are more popular than pastors.

  189. Because people always want a word from God, but they don't want

  190. to work for God.

  191. See, burn me up, God, I want to work for you.

  192. I want to do.

  193. What does that mean?

  194. If you're a nurse, go into the hospital, work for God.

  195. If you're a student, go into the school, work for God.

  196. It says the harvest is vast, but the laborers are few.

  197. It means that those who are willing to work are few.

  198. There's a lot of people willing to talk.

  199. There's a lot of people willing to come on somebody.

  200. A lot of people willing to watch.

  201. But there's very few willing to work.

  202. And I'll tell you something changes in your life when you say

  203. God.

  204. If you can use anything, you can use me.

  205. Take My hands, Lord, and my feet touch my heart.

  206. Y' all don't even know this song.

  207. That's what's wrong with you.

  208. Do you not know this song?

  209. Oh, we need to bring it back, Julie.

  210. When I was growing up, we used to sing this song.

  211. If you can use anything, Lord, you can use me.

  212. And you know, the millennial said I was used by the local church.

  213. That's the whole point, Lord.

  214. If you can use anything, use me.

  215. Somebody say, I'm willing to burn.

  216. Come on.

  217. And by the way, this is not the advanced class.

  218. This is the basics.

  219. Well, I'm telling you, go v1.

  220. And what happened at a certain point in my journey was I launched

  221. this church.

  222. And I remember telling God, God, I cashed everything out.

  223. My retirement, my savings, sold my house.

  224. Look, Lord, look what I've burned for you.

  225. And you know what God told me?

  226. Congratulations, Mike, you've now just become a normal Christian.

  227. So here's the thing.

  228. Oftentimes when God is asking something of us, we go before God

  229. like, it's such a big deal.

  230. But the reality is, the things he's asking for us to give, we don't

  231. have them.

  232. They have us.

  233. So God is trying to get us free by burning some things in our

  234. life.

  235. Anybody want freedom on the next level?

  236. Burn, burn, burn.

  237. So that leads us to the last and final section of the sermon,

  238. because I had to do a lot of review.

  239. But your brain is a.

  240. Is wired to avoid everything I told you.

  241. So what's happening is your spirit is saying yes to everything

  242. I preached, but your.

  243. Your actual body, your, even your biological brain is saying,

  244. no, no, no.

  245. Anybody know what I'm talking about?

  246. For the spirit is willing, but the flesh is.

  247. So modern psychology actually shows us that your mind, it'll generate

  248. hesitation within five seconds of a decision that feels risky or

  249. uncertain.

  250. When I was in the service of a man with a multisite massive church

  251. in America, and he was raising money to buy cameras to actually

  252. put his sermons in the Middle east to Muslim nations, the Holy

  253. Spirit to me and said, Give $5,000.

  254. Sow it into this man.

  255. And again, as soon as the Holy Spirit spoke that because the things

  256. of the spirit are quantum, they are faster than your mind can

  257. compute.

  258. And so you're.

  259. You have to train your mind to actually submit to the spirit, because

  260. the things of the spirit operate significantly faster than

  261. the things of the.

  262. Of the natural mind.

  263. Do you all understand what I'm saying?

  264. So on a quantum level, I receive give $5,000, and so it into

  265. his ministry But I begin to hesitate because my brain, and it's

  266. doing what we learn in modern psychology.

  267. So I get out my phone, I scan the QR code, and I put in 5,00, because

  268. $500 is still a lot of money.

  269. But that's not what God said.

  270. And.

  271. But here's what I think makes me different than most people you've

  272. met, and this is what I'm trying to impart to you as your pastor,

  273. is that I will hesitate, but then I will push through the hesitation.

  274. And I'm learning that I feel many of the same feelings as other

  275. people.

  276. But I've trained myself in the things of the spirit to do something

  277. different than what I feel.

  278. Are y' all with me?

  279. So I put the extra zero on, and Julie elbows me, and she goes,

  280. mike.

  281. She goes, mike, the Holy Spirit told me to give $5,000 as

  282. well.

  283. And I watched you wrestle with it.

  284. Yes, let's give it.

  285. So I gave that money.

  286. On a side note to this story, you will always have an audience

  287. for your obed, and you will always have an audience for your

  288. disobedience.

  289. My wife was watching, and so I gave that money.

  290. That was in 2019.

  291. What happened in 2020?

  292. It was through cameras that I began to reach the nations, because

  293. you sow into what you want to grow into.

  294. And now we've got 10,000 people watching our livestream.

  295. And in 2019, we had only 50 people watching our livestream.

  296. But I believe there was something connected to me battling

  297. something connected to me doing what?

  298. Break.

  299. That was my alabaster box.

  300. And then burning and saying, you know what, God?

  301. I'm gonna burn.

  302. Okay.

  303. Oh, please, please, please lean in for this.

  304. Cause this is like, I'm gonna teach it deeper, but this is gonna

  305. help you.

  306. I.

  307. You.

  308. Okay?

  309. Real sacrifice, real burning requires you creating a scenario

  310. that you cannot undo.

  311. If you can undo it, it's not real sacrifice.

  312. When I look at the scriptures, okay, I see this over and over again.

  313. If you approach marriage, like, I am going to take these vows,

  314. but I can undo these if I need to undo these.

  315. If you treat it like you can undo it, you will undo it.

  316. Because it's a covenant, not just words.

  317. If you show up to a church and you're testing it and trying it out,

  318. and you leave an escape hatch, you will end up leaving that church

  319. because you will cause what's called bias to occur.

  320. And you will look through everything through the lens of negativity

  321. to justify why you go out through that trap door.

  322. If you leave a trap door for marriage.

  323. Then you will look at your wife.

  324. You will look at your husband through the lens of everything they're

  325. doing wrong to justify that trap door behind you.

  326. How many of you know what I'm talking about?

  327. Because it's real quiet here.

  328. I don't know if it's because you're listening or you want me to

  329. open the altar now to repent, but.

  330. But I'm trying to teach you this because, oh, Lord, help me.

  331. Help me.

  332. Our generation doesn't even believe most of what I've said for

  333. the last 20 minutes.

  334. Our generation doesn't even believe it.

  335. Half of all marriages end in divorce.

  336. I'm the product of multiple divorces, and I see that now.

  337. I want to say on a little asterisk.

  338. Side note, even Jesus gave justifiable reasons for divorce a

  339. reason for divorce.

  340. Not all marriages.

  341. You know, it takes two people, and that's the point of covenant.

  342. And sometimes one person covenant, the other one's a covenant

  343. breaker.

  344. Right?

  345. So I don't feel attacked right now, but.

  346. But to these ears, many of us need to hear this.

  347. There.

  348. Okay, Harvey, right now in Miami is in a building, and there

  349. was a Baptist church in that building that had 600 people every

  350. Sunday.

  351. Because what used to happen in America was people went to church

  352. because they were Christians.

  353. And already within 100 years, we watched all of the atheism and

  354. the deconstructing.

  355. It diminished people's a sense of community and belonging.

  356. And right now, a lot of these messages I'm preaching, they are

  357. some of the most important things that can be said in our generation.

  358. Because if you go back in time, there was a time where if you

  359. were Catholic, you went to Catholic church.

  360. If you were Methodist, you went to Methodist church.

  361. And right now, there.

  362. And see.

  363. Can I just go there for years now.

  364. Mike, why do you talk about Islam so much?

  365. Well, I'll tell you why.

  366. Because when their birth rate is significantly higher than ours,

  367. when they actually go to the mosque, when they go to pray, when

  368. they're filling the streets, when they're electing officials in

  369. government.

  370. See, as a church, we're supposed to go into each sphere of

  371. influence.

  372. They are going into every sphere of influence.

  373. And what's happening is a lot of these sermons now, they're going

  374. over your.

  375. And then 40 years from now, you're gonna see all these viral

  376. clips, and you're gonna be like, I was in the room when Mike

  377. said that, but I didn't see what he was seeing in the future.

  378. So it's like when I Tell a group full of Christians you should

  379. come to church every week.

  380. It sounds like I'm saying that because I just wanna grow my church

  381. attendance.

  382. But let me remind you that I did not show up on Long island to

  383. build a big church.

  384. And for most of you that were here, like Angela and Nick, our church

  385. was less than 100 for a third of the entire existence of our church.

  386. But what I am saying is, as you look at the other religions,

  387. as you look at the other traditions, as you look at the things

  388. that are in the earth, it's not just Islam.

  389. There's a rising of all these sides.

  390. And I believe that as Christians, we need to actually rise

  391. up and be Christians.

  392. Does that make sense?

  393. Even like the Daily Growth Journal, it's because it was understood

  394. that if you're a Christian, you read your Bible, but then Bible

  395. reading, you know.

  396. And now we have a resurgence because the Lord is beginning to

  397. give people a desire by the Holy Spirit.

  398. But we need tools.

  399. So these spiritual disciplines and going to church and serving and

  400. sitting, these were all very normal things even 100 years ago.

  401. But what happens is the enemy comes and deceives, but then what

  402. happens is other religions and other traditions, they believe it.

  403. I told this story before, but.

  404. But I have a friend that is a Jew.

  405. And you know, he was telling me about at the local synagogue,

  406. of course, Jews all give their tithe, but he said, we pay extra

  407. money because we want eternal rewards.

  408. And they even buy their own seats at many synagogues.

  409. Do you guys know about this?

  410. And then you know how, like, we have volunteers that serve in

  411. production and various different things?

  412. Well, they actually pay.

  413. In many synagogues here in New York City, they pay extra money for

  414. the privilege to be able to serve and to do the various different

  415. things in their local temple.

  416. And because they believe so much in eternal rewards that they

  417. are willing to pay their local synagogue to let them serve so they

  418. can get more rewards.

  419. And when I was talking to my friend about that, he goes, I think

  420. it's so funny how Christians argue over giving 10% when we go

  421. well beyond that.

  422. And I also think it's our.

  423. It's funny how Christians argue when you.

  424. When the pastor says, I want you to serve.

  425. Because we fight each other over who gets to serve and we pay

  426. money to serve.

  427. So let's go ahead.

  428. We're gonna start.

  429. Start that right now.

  430. No, I'm just kidding.

  431. Everyone panic.

  432. But.

  433. But do you see, though, it's not just against Islam, even within

  434. Judaism, people who believe in the spiritual realm, people who Believe

  435. in the eternal.

  436. They live their life in response to it.

  437. And they live their life in a way look peculiar to other people,

  438. but to them makes total sense.

  439. Are y' all with me today?

  440. And so, like, I just want to normalize for you that going to church

  441. every week is not weird, because in Judaism, having Shabbat

  442. every week is not weird.

  443. Praying every day is not weird, because if you were a Muslim,

  444. you would pray multiple times a day.

  445. Right?

  446. It's just.

  447. But I think what's happening is, is our church.

  448. Churches have become so divided and hyper individualistic

  449. that I now have to preach sermons and say, we have to battle

  450. together, we have to break together, and we have to burn together.

  451. But look, there's a demonic form of what I just said, because

  452. a jihad is we're going to battle together, we're going to break

  453. together, we're going to burn together.

  454. That's jihad.

  455. Am I right?

  456. When nations, evil nations rise up, up.

  457. And they.

  458. And even evil nations say, we're going to battle, break and

  459. burn.

  460. So the Lord's been showing me a rising of both sides.

  461. And my prayer to you with go V1 is.

  462. It's not about V1 church.

  463. It's about the body of Christ demanding that as it was in the 1st

  464. century, so shall it be in the 21st century.

  465. Are y' all with me?

  466. And the end times church has to look like the church in the beginning.

  467. If you're.

  468. If you're upset about the tithe, I've got good news for you.

  469. The New Covenant did away with the tithe.

  470. But I have bad news for you.

  471. When it did away with the tithe, it transformed your heart

  472. and empowered you to go beyond 10%.

  473. I've got good news and bad news for you.

  474. The good news is we're no longer gonna stone you for your sin.

  475. The bad news is if you're gonna become a Christian, you have

  476. to kill yourself, crucify your own flesh, and put it to death.

  477. It may not be a physical death, but it should feel like a

  478. physical death when you put to death your flesh.

  479. You see what I'm saying?

  480. The gospel of Jesus Christ empowers you to do hard things, not

  481. just receive easy things.

  482. The blood of Jesus Christ empowers you to be new, and a new

  483. man comes forth.

  484. And as the new man comes forth, it says, man, I could never

  485. pray, but I'm submitted to God.

  486. I'm gonna begin to pray.

  487. I could never fast, but I'm submitted to God.

  488. I'm gonna fast.

  489. I used to hesitate to give because my biological brain hesitates.

  490. But then through the spirit I'm willing to step into that moment.

  491. Through the spirit, I'm willing to push past it.

  492. And I don't know about you, but I'm looking for a people at V1

  493. church that are movement makers that say, God, I will do these

  494. things if you ask me to do them.

  495. Because obedience is greater than sacrifice.

  496. So last week was about sacrifice, this week is about obedience.

  497. How many of you say, God, take me through levels, right?

  498. I want to go higher in you depth.

  499. It's not just knowing the scriptures because even Satan knows

  500. them.

  501. But Satan refused to obey them.

  502. How many of you want to now?

  503. How many of you say, God, make me obedient.

  504. I want to pray every day.

  505. I want to be, I want to come to church and be obedient.

  506. I want to represent.

  507. I want to show the light of Christ in a dark place.

  508. As I'm coming to a close, I want to show you these scriptures.

  509. Now the Lord said to Abram, go from your country.

  510. You see this?

  511. Go to your country and your kindred and your father's house to

  512. the land that I will show you.

  513. Look at this verse.

  514. It says, go from your country, your kindred and your father's house.

  515. In order to go V1, you have to leave yours for his, yours for his.

  516. Okay, single people, I'm talking to the ladies.

  517. When you get married, you leave your house to join his because

  518. marriage.

  519. So Julie left the Owens family.

  520. Her last name was Owens, which is Welsh.

  521. And she joined the Signorelli family.

  522. And I made a new family.

  523. And so what happens is when you become the bride of Christ, you

  524. leave your house, your customs, your laws, your culture.

  525. Come on.

  526. Well, I'm mad like this because I'm Irish.

  527. I drink like this because I'm Irish.

  528. No, you're not Irish anymore.

  529. When you became the bride of Christ, you're sober minded, you're

  530. not Irish.

  531. Oh, I'm Puerto Rican.

  532. And Puerto Ricans are like this.

  533. No, no.

  534. When you became the bride of Christ, you left Puerto Rican culture.

  535. And just because they do it like that in Puerto Rico doesn't

  536. mean they do that in heaven.

  537. It's on earth as it is in heaven.

  538. Come on somebody, I'm trying to talk to you.

  539. Oh no, I'm African.

  540. Okay, well listen, you want to go to your roots.

  541. Your roots are Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

  542. Those are your roots.

  543. And if you're putting culture above the.

  544. Kingdom, then your culture is your idolatry.

  545. And I'm trying to tell you culture matters.

  546. If it's in second place.

  547. But if it's in first place, we got a problem.

  548. Because in order to step up into.

  549. This thing, we got to start looking.

  550. More like heaven and less like New York City.

  551. More like heaven and less like Long Island.

  552. More like heaven and less like Miami.

  553. More like heaven and less.

  554. Come on.

  555. Leave your country, leave your kindred, and leave your father's

  556. house, and I will show you.

  557. I'm not going to show you after.

  558. I'm sorry, I'm not going to show you before.

  559. I'm going to show you after.

  560. God, show me the plan for my life.

  561. We'll ditch your old plan and serve the Lord.

  562. Then he'll show you.

  563. Leave your culture.

  564. Leave the things that you've been holding onto, and then God will

  565. show you, and I will make you a great nation.

  566. And I will bless you and make your name great so that you will

  567. be a blessing.

  568. I will bless those who bless you.

  569. And I will.

  570. And him who dishonors you, I will curse.

  571. And in all of the families of the earth shall be blessed.

  572. So Abraham went.

  573. So Nick Garcia went.

  574. So Stephas went.

  575. So Execa went, so Bella went.

  576. This is a.

  577. The story of our life is when God calls, we go.

  578. When he tells us to do it, I want it to be said in my life.

  579. And then Mike went.

  580. Some of you have been feeling stuck, but you got two legs that

  581. work.

  582. Come on, somebody.

  583. And you gotta begin to use those legs, right?

  584. And one leg is prayer, and the other leg is prophecy and proclamation

  585. and declaration.

  586. Let me just tell you, we are a praying church.

  587. But if all you do is pray, Long island goes to hell.

  588. If all you do is pray, all of Brooklyn goes to hell.

  589. If all you do is pray, all of Miami still goes to hell.

  590. One foot is prayer, and the other foot is prophecy and preaching

  591. and proclamation.

  592. And that's how we walk.

  593. By the spirit.

  594. It's.

  595. Mike went.

  596. I went into the nations and I preached.

  597. I went into the nations and I prayed.

  598. Some of you have never went yet.

  599. Because all you've done is pray.

  600. Some of you have never went yet because all you've done is interceded.

  601. But you are the answer to your own prayers because he has empowered

  602. you to do it.

  603. And you need to get out of the classroom and get into the real world.

  604. You got to get out of the books, and you got to start making

  605. history books because you went.

  606. Somebody shout, go v1.

  607. Okay, you guys seem like you like me better.

  608. Abraham.

  609. No logistics, no blueprint, no gps, no strategy.

  610. The strategy is surrender.

  611. Surrender.

  612. Is greater than strategy.

  613. Because surrender in the kingdom is the strategy.

  614. I surrender to Danny being my pastor.

  615. Pastor.

  616. You're my pastor, Danny.

  617. I'm proud to call you my pastor.

  618. I go to your church, I serve your church.

  619. I attend your church.

  620. I give 10% of all my finances to your church.

  621. I give offerings a couple of times a year before that to your

  622. church.

  623. And I surrender to you.

  624. I'm not trying to fight you.

  625. I'm not trying to be right.

  626. I'm not trying to be smarter than you.

  627. I'm not puffing myself up.

  628. I surrender.

  629. And then guess what happens when you go low.

  630. The Lord now can lift you up.

  631. Up.

  632. The Lord can take you higher.

  633. The Lord can begin to lift you up.

  634. But the problem is, we never surrender.

  635. Because I'm an American.

  636. I'm a Puerto Rican.

  637. I am an Italian.

  638. No, you're prideful.

  639. Surrender under the mighty hand of God, and then in due season,

  640. he will lift you up.

  641. But, Mike, that says.

  642. That says, humble yourself under the mighty hand of God.

  643. But Danny's not God.

  644. When in scripture do you see God do something without doing it

  645. through a man?

  646. When God wants to deliver the Israelites out of Egypt, he doesn't

  647. do it himself.

  648. He uses Moses.

  649. When God wants to distribute seed in a time of need, he doesn't

  650. do it himself.

  651. He uses Joseph.

  652. Oh, that's old covenant.

  653. Okay, homie, let me take you to the new covenant.

  654. God takes disciples and makes them apostles and puts those apostles

  655. over churches.

  656. Then watch this.

  657. Those apostles write letters to show the lineage of the heritage

  658. of the position.

  659. He uses Timothy.

  660. And then under Timothy, he has elders.

  661. Then under the elders, he have people.

  662. James, chapter five.

  663. Is there any sick among you?

  664. It doesn't just say, pray for each other.

  665. It says, go to the elders of the local church.

  666. Have the leaders lay hands on you, and the leaders will anoint

  667. you with.

  668. Oil and you will be healed.

  669. And some of you will say, I'm surrendered to God.

  670. But you never surrender to a man.

  671. And that's why you're confused.

  672. That's why you're broke.

  673. That's why you're disgusted with your life.

  674. Because God calls us to surrender to him through a man.

  675. And if you don't learn that in marriage, you're going to end up

  676. with a bad marriage.

  677. If you don't end up.

  678. If you don't learn that in church, you're going to end up having

  679. a bad church.

  680. But where there is submission, where there is surrender, the glory

  681. of the Lord reigns.

  682. The anointing comes.

  683. Provision comes and this is not popular, but if the mosque has

  684. an imam, if the local temple has a rabbi, Homie, a pastor, submit.

  685. This is the way of the Lord.

  686. It's always been this way.

  687. Well, I get my sermon on the Internet.

  688. Well, you can get a sermon on any on the Internet and submit.

  689. And you can sit in the room and not submit.

  690. I met a woman who is at the conference in Miami, and she said,

  691. I was in Vegas, and all of a sudden the Lord began to speak to

  692. me.

  693. And she said, I watched Mike Signorelli preaching.

  694. And the Lord said, I called you to this house.

  695. I called him to be your pastor.

  696. Would you submit to his authority?

  697. She said, I physically stood up and I took a step forward and

  698. said, God, I'm submitted.

  699. I'm here.

  700. I never met that woman in my life.

  701. She caught up to give a testimony two days ago, was bawling

  702. her eyes, saying, my life has been changed forever because of your

  703. life, Mike, and receiving from you.

  704. But here's what I'm saying.

  705. Submission without proximity still produces power.

  706. Power.

  707. But no submission with all the proximity equals no power.

  708. So what happens is you got to make up your mind.

  709. This is my church.

  710. These are my pastors.

  711. Mike is the apostle over this thing.

  712. And I'm going to come on battle with them.

  713. I am going to break with them.

  714. I'm going to burn with them.

  715. I'm covenanted.

  716. If they have any mom, if they have a rabbi.

  717. I have a pastor, but I have a God over that pastor, and I trust

  718. that God.

  719. And we're going to take these regions, we're going to take these.

  720. These cities we're going to build.

  721. Because, y', all, I'm just getting started.

  722. I don't know about you, but I look around.

  723. This is not enough.

  724. I say, God, let's build schools in every city so our children

  725. can actually go to Christian schools.

  726. I have a vision for right here on Long island being the only accredited

  727. Christian college in all of New York state.

  728. I see people getting bachelor's degrees in this building

  729. very soon.

  730. I see people not having to go to the secular colleges in New York,

  731. but they come here in this building to get an accredited decree.

  732. I see artists rising up.

  733. I made one movie and got third place.

  734. My next movie is going to get first place in the box office because

  735. Jesus name is going to be lifted on high.

  736. I humbled myself under the mighty hand of God.

  737. And in due season, he's going to lift me and Evan up as we film

  738. more movie theaters with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

  739. I'm just getting started.

  740. It's time to battle.

  741. It's time to break.

  742. It's time to burn somebody.

  743. But watch, if you can't do the basics, you don't get to the advance.

  744. So when you think about the beginning of my sermon when nobody

  745. was clapping, it's because everybody fails in the little things.

  746. This is why you can't get to the advance unless you pass the basic

  747. serving, attending, reading, praying, leading.

  748. Those are the basics.

  749. Then you get to the advance.

  750. And what many of you are doing is you're watching me be in my advanced

  751. season while you're still failing in your basic season.

  752. But I love you.

  753. That's why I'm saying this.

  754. I love you.

  755. I love you.

  756. I want to show you one last thing.

  757. So in the notes, skip to the end.

  758. Because this sermon is anointed, you're going to look back

  759. at this sermon and realize what God was doing.

  760. We should be standing room only, every service in every location.

  761. If you start fulfilling the Great Commission, we should be buying

  762. buildings, cast everywhere we go.

  763. If you start fulfilling the great commitment, if I.

  764. If.

  765. If I'm not the only one doing.

  766. The advance and all y' all do.

  767. It, God, I got people who know the Bible, the Greek, the Hebrew.

  768. I got more degrees than a thermometer, but are selfish.

  769. I got people who know how to.

  770. Preach a sermon but don't know how to live it.

  771. I got people who know how to sing, but the Lord doesn't receive

  772. it because there's no obedience connected to the song.

  773. I'm trying to get us aligned for the basics.

  774. Because come ease Easter Sunday, when this church walks into

  775. Times Square and we begin to fill it, we have to march into Times

  776. Square praying and prophesying, praying and preaching.

  777. I'm not going to Times Square to put on a show.

  778. Hey, some of y' all are playing games.

  779. Take off the mask and get into alignment with me and say, God, here

  780. am I.

  781. Send me.

  782. I'm going into Times Square with a church unified.

  783. A church on the same page.

  784. A church that's in one.

  785. One heart, one mind, one body, one heart.

  786. Okay, I gotta show you one last thing.

  787. In the scriptures, I just feel the anointing on this.

  788. I feel the anointing for this.

  789. Okay, watch.

  790. This is my last point.

  791. Oh, this?

  792. No, no.

  793. My third point.

  794. For the.

  795. Whoever's doing the.

  796. The computer, go to point three, Banaias.

  797. Secret victory.

  798. This is what the Lord told me to preach to you.

  799. I went nine minutes over.

  800. Are y' all mad at me?

  801. Okay, okay.

  802. Somebody said yes.

  803. Who is it?

  804. Security.

  805. Get them now.

  806. Okay.

  807. Is this helping you, though?

  808. Do you feel loved?

  809. Do you feel encouraged?

  810. Let me just tell you, the person who loves you the most is

  811. not the person who lies to you with flattery.

  812. It's the person who looks at your potential and says, on my watch,

  813. I'm not letting you kill that potential.

  814. On my watch, I'm not let.

  815. If you were mediocre, I would preach.

  816. To you like you were mediocre.

  817. I'm being serious.

  818. When I showed up to New York.

  819. I'm talking to you, Brooklyn.

  820. I'm talking to you, Manhattan.

  821. I'm talking.

  822. I realized that the IQ has to be significantly higher here for

  823. y' all to survive.

  824. And when I'm preaching to you like I am on a Sunday, this is a

  825. loving word because I'm preaching to the true you and.

  826. And y'.

  827. All.

  828. Do y' all feel it?

  829. Somebody said no.

  830. Okay, now watch.

  831. In second Samuel, chapter 23, verse 20.

    2 Samuel 23:20

  832. Now we're going to go deeper for a few moments and then we're

  833. going to pray.

  834. We're not talking about David and Goliath.

  835. You know that story.

  836. We're talking about Banaia.

  837. And most believers do not know about Banaiah.

  838. And actually that's.

  839. Oh, that'll preach in of itself.

  840. Are we good?

  841. Are you guys tired you yet?

  842. Okay, I just got to cook.

  843. You know about David and Goliath because that was a public

  844. battle with a public victory.

  845. And everybody loves those kinds of stories.

  846. But probably none of you know who Bania is because it was a private

  847. battle with a private victory.

  848. See, this is the thing.

  849. Everybody wants to win in public.

  850. Nobody wants to win in private.

  851. And what the Lord's speaking to me.

  852. If you're going to go v1 1.

  853. The Lord's looking at your bank account now.

  854. The Lord's looking at your text messages now.

  855. Come on, come on.

  856. The Lord's looking.

  857. And see, it's time for some of.

  858. You can kill a giant in public, but you can't kill a lion

  859. in private.

  860. And that's why you need to know about Benaiah for a few minutes.

  861. Are you ready?

  862. And Benaiah, the son of Jehoda.

  863. That's a fire name now, isn't it?

  864. Jehotah was a valiant man of Capzido, A doer.

  865. Somebody shout doer.

  866. Don't just be a hearer of the word, but a.

  867. What makes you a valiant man or woman is not your thought, it's

  868. your action.

  869. A doer of great deeds.

  870. He struck down two aerials let's talk about this word Ariel.

  871. Probably you don't know what that means.

  872. Two aerials of Moab.

  873. Those were men that were so fierce and Ariel is a Hebrew word

  874. for liar, lion.

  875. So men who were so fierce that they were like lions and he was able

  876. to strike them down.

  877. He also went down and struck a lion in a pit on a day when snow

  878. had fallen.

  879. We've got to break this down, we've got to break this down.

  880. So this is one of the mightiest men in all of scripture.

  881. And Benaiah had the ability to literally he watch this.

  882. And he, and he also also went down.

  883. Nobody told him to go down.

  884. Nobody assigned it to him, nobody asked him.

  885. He did it because that's who he was.

  886. It was flowing from his identity.

  887. That's why I'm working on your identity.

  888. It's like there comes a point where no one tells you to lead anybody

  889. to Christ.

  890. Nobody tells you to be radically generous.

  891. You do it now because it's who you are.

  892. I want to shout out my daughter Bella because we were on

  893. a flight to Miami and we got off that flight and Bella comes to

  894. me and she's like dad, I am so excited.

  895. I said, why?

  896. She goes, because the devil messed up.

  897. I said, what did the devil do?

  898. She said the devil sat a Jew next to me on the plane and I started

  899. talking to him about the supernatural and the gospel of Jesus

  900. Christ.

  901. And on that plane we had this great conversation and he said that

  902. he's going to come to church this Sunday.

  903. And so if you're here in this service, we love you and we're glad

  904. you're here and we love the Jewish people because my savior Jesus

  905. was a Jew.

  906. Come on somebody.

  907. And we, and this, this is.

  908. But, but what I'm saying is if I can't pastor my daughter to lead

  909. the lost, then why would you trust me to pastor yours?

  910. It's not what we say, it's what we do.

  911. The Signorelli is our soul winner.

  912. So their church will be a soul winning church.

  913. The Signorellis are generous, so their church will be a generous

  914. church.

  915. Let me ask you this.

  916. If, if everybody in the church was like you, would it die in a few

  917. weeks?

  918. If everybody was like you, would it thrive in a few weeks?

  919. This is discipleship.

  920. It's not a program, it's an apprenticeship.

  921. Everybody wants a program because it's easier than an apprenticeship.

  922. Apprenticeship is what you do.

  923. It's not head knowledge, his foot knowledge.

  924. My feet hurt, my legs ache.

  925. But I'm gonna press Forward.

  926. I don't.

  927. I know this thing through experience, even if I don't know

  928. it through my mind.

  929. And that's.

  930. Was Kebzil, a doer of great deeds, and he struck down two men

  931. who were like lions.

  932. But he also went down and struck a lion in a pit on a day when

  933. snow had fallen.

  934. And if I were to end the sermon, this.

  935. I'm gonna end it.

  936. Nobody told him to go in the pit.

  937. Pit, it was snowy, which means it was slippery and it looked like

  938. it was impossible.

  939. The other thing I love about a pit is he went V1 because there's

  940. no escape hatch in a pit.

  941. I'm going to go down and fight this lion.

  942. And only.

  943. Only one of us are coming out alive.

  944. See there.

  945. There's some.

  946. Some of you are in the fight of your life.

  947. If you're fighting for your marriage, you need to jump down into

  948. that pit, that snowy pit.

  949. Pit.

  950. And say every one of my family members, my father, my great.

  951. This is why you.

  952. I'm wearing the breakers gear today.

  953. You're about to see it.

  954. Because somebody has to rise up and go into the pit and say, there's

  955. no other way out.

  956. It's do or die now.

  957. This is irrevocable.

  958. I'm gonna fight this thing.

  959. And only one of us are coming out alive.

  960. And if you're fighting for your marriage and I'm speaking to

  961. the men, jump into that pit and kill that lion.

  962. And it'll be a private victory.

  963. But I'm telling you what, it starts as a private victory and then

  964. it ends up becoming a public victory.

  965. Because what you win in private becomes the curriculum for

  966. what you teach in public.

  967. And this is called authority.

  968. Authority.

  969. Authority.

  970. And see, whatever it is, nobody knows if you're dealing with

  971. addiction, nobody may know it.

  972. Nobody's going to grab your phone and see what you look at.

  973. Nobody's going to go through your bank account and audit your

  974. stuff.

  975. But the Lord knows.

  976. Knows and see, you got to jump into a pit sometimes and say, I am

  977. the generational bloodline curse breaker and only one of us

  978. are coming out of this alive.

  979. And I'm gonna fight this thing privately so that God gives me influence

  980. and authority publicly.

  981. And nobody may see this season of my life.

  982. This is what I love about this.

  983. The pit offered no escape.

  984. How much would you fight for a church if there was no other church?

  985. See, maybe we have too many options.

  986. That's the problem.

  987. How much would we fight for this thing if there weren't thousands

  988. of other churches?

  989. We could choose how would you fight for your marriage if you believed

  990. that they were the only one because you made that covenant?

  991. It's.

  992. I feel like the Lord's been telling me, bring your church into

  993. the pit and have them now begin to fight that line in that

  994. they've been ignoring for a long time.

  995. But I got good news for you.

  996. You were built for this.

  997. You were built for this.

  998. You were built for this.

  999. And Benaiah, the son of Jehoda, was a violent, was a valiant

  1000. man.

1001. But I want to show you one last thing.

1002. Would you stand to your feet with me?

1003. There was no crowd, no applause, no Instagram live, no.

1004. No battlefield of snowy pit.

1005. He fought a line in a pit on a snowy day in the worst conditions.

1006. And it was a hidden act of courage that became the foundation

  1007. for his elevation.

1008. How many of you want to go v1.

1009. You got to go into the pit without any escape so that you can

  1010. get elevated out.

1011. Now here's what I thought was insane because I went a little bit

  1012. deeper.

1013. Private obedience, private courage, private sacrifice, Private

  1014. discipline.

  1015. Discipline.

1016. On December 18th, we're gonna have a moment of.

1017. A private moment with God to give sacrificially to believe that

1018. we're going to be able to build a.

1019. A stage for this church.

  1020. We don't have a stage.

1021. We're preaching on the floor.

  1022. We're gonna.

1023. We're gonna believe that a college is going to be birthed in

1024. this building I'm in right now that provides accredited degrees.

1025. We're gonna believe that God is gonna take us higher.

1026. I see mortgage burning ceremonies for Indiana and Long island

  1027. coming.

  1028. Coming.

1029. That we are not going to be the debtor.

1030. That we are to be the lender and not the borrower.

  1031. Does anybody believe that?

1032. But this is where greatness is forged.

1033. It's forged in the snowy, snowy pit.

1034. And confidence is not built by hype.

1035. It's built through private victories, small wins, quiet disciplines,

  1036. the daily growth journal.

1037. Nobody's going to come to your house and see if you filled it out

  1038. every day.

1039. Nobody's going to come to your house to see if you grabbed your,

1040. your, your spouse and prayed with them.

  1041. Nobody's gonna know.

1042. You could walk right past that pit.

1043. You can walk right past that lion.

  1044. You can walk.

1045. You can even make excuses.

  1046. It's snowy.

1047. Oh, but I work too much.

  1048. I work overtimes.

  1049. I work doubles.

  1050. I work triples.

  1051. I'm tired.

1052. Oh, but I take my family every once in a while.

1053. Oh, but I give enough.

  1054. Oh, but it's.

1055. I disagree with the scriptures.

1056. I don't think I like Mike, but the way he preaches, I don't agree.

1057. You can make all these.

1058. These excuses and walk past that pit and walk past that lion.

1059. But I'm asking, who wants to jump into that pit and say, I'm going

  1060. to confront this thing.

  1061. Watch.

1062. Because it's when that lion gets out of the pit that you're going

1063. to end up having to fight it.

1064. And you don't have the advantage of calculating how you

  1065. fight it.

1066. See, there's some things that if you don't confront them in another

1067. season, they're going to conquer you.

1068. What's not confronted ends up conquering.

1069. What's not to going confronted ends up taking you out.

1070. And so there's a window of time.

1071. I see a window of opportunity, a window of time where you can do

  1072. this.

  1073. It's a small win.

  1074. It's a quiet discipline.

1075. The lion, the pit and the snow.

1076. The lion, the pit and the snow.

  1077. Everybody says, climb up.

1078. Sometimes you gotta climb down before you climb up.

1079. Climb down into the pit.

  1080. Come on.

1081. He wasn't pushed down there.

1082. He wasn't trapped down there.

1083. He went there on his own.

1084. This reveals a major, major thing.

1085. We're gonna pray in a few moments.

1086. When he was killing the lion, Benaiah wasn't seeking glory.

1087. He was actually protecting people.

1088. If that line went out.

  1089. See, here's the thing.

1090. I was going through my pictures and my videos last week,

1091. and I was looking at the private areas of my life.

1092. I saw the video and the pictures of me performing at the

1093. Rosie o' Donnell foundation fundraiser show in Manhattan.

1094. When I showed up during Hurricane Sandy, I saw the pictures

1095. and the videos of my wife and I going to Katz Deli in Manhattan

1096. and staying in the bunk beds of Ron Mandil's place in Bushwick,

  1097. Brooklyn.

1098. As we were distributing food, I went on this journey, and it was

  1099. a journey of sanctification.

1100. It was me going down into that pit and facing some things.

1101. Financial insecurities, facing them, facing the issues of my marriage,

1102. the questions I had about Julian, our past.

  1103. And I just.

1104. Facing it, facing it, facing it, facing it.

1105. And it was just absolutely blown away.

1106. I'm going to show you some of this next week.

1107. It's going to be a time to laugh together.

1108. It's going to be a time to cry together.

1109. And there's a heritage that's going to be handed to all the pastors

1110. that were ordained, that are going to be ordained next week.

1111. But the reason why this message is burning in me is because

1112. the Lord is saying Everybody wants to be David.

1113. Nobody wants to be Benaiah.

1114. See, the thing is, Benaiah was like, I did it because it was the

  1115. right thing to do.

1116. And I think in America, for those of you listening, the right

1117. thing to do is what you're doing right now.

  1118. That's why you're at church.

  1119. But don't stop halfway.

1120. I started this sermon with a man named Abraham.

  1121. Abraham's father.

1122. Does anybody here even know Abraham's dad's name?

1123. Right, but did you know that God gave a promise to Abraham's dad,

  1124. not Abraham?

1125. But Abraham did not go.

1126. Abraham's dad only stopped halfway.

1127. And Abraham was the one who said, I'll go the whole way.

1128. So he received a promise that was actually supposed to go to his

  1129. dad.

1130. And then let's talk about Benaiah.

1131. I started looking up this man because I felt so convicted while

1132. I was writing the sermon.

1133. Like, I've got to bring our church to be like Bania.

1134. Then I found out that Benaiah's dad was a Levite.

  1135. And I gasped.

  1136. What?

1137. Because Levites passed the Levitical heritage down to their

  1138. children.

1139. So that means that God called Benaiah to be a warrior, even though

1140. his dad was a worshiper.

1141. So that means there was a shift in the generations for a greater

1142. calling out from the Levitical into the warfare.

  1143. And I don't know who.

1144. Who I'm talking about, but sometimes you'll look at your family

1145. line and see that God has called you to do something different.

1146. And you become a breaker.

1147. And you're the one who says, listen, I'm gonna have to pray like

  1148. you never prayed.

1149. Give like you never gave.

1150. Serve like you never get served.

  1151. And there's something.

  1152. There's a shift.

1153. And for Benaiah to go from a Levitical lineage into warfare.

1154. Lineage means nobody taught him courage.

  1155. Nobody taught him sacrifice.

  1156. Nobody taught him warfare.

1157. It was who he was being activated.

1158. So the thing I want to say to the entire church right now is I.

1159. After this Sunday, I am done teaching you certain things.

1160. I want to see what you're made of.

1161. Either you're gonna get off the bench and do it, or you're gonna

  1162. keep whining and complaining.

1163. Either you're gonna rise up and be a warrior, or you're gonna

  1164. keep being a worrier.

1165. I'm done trying to force you.

1166. This is the last word week.

1167. I'm drawing a line in the sand.

1168. Either you march with me, or you stay on your pity party in the

  1169. back.

1170. But as for me and my house, I have decided that we will serve the

  1171. Lord.

1172. I'm gonna lead the loss to the cross at any cost.

1173. I want to know who goes with me.

1174. I'm gonna read my Bible every day.

  1175. Who's reading with me?

1176. I'm gonna be in a group in close accountability.

1177. Who's grouping up with me?

  1178. I'm gonna serve.

  1179. Who's serving with me?

  1180. Me.

  1181. Come on.

1182. Lift your hands towards heaven.

  1183. If you're with me.

1184. Only if you're with me.

  1185. Come on.

  1186. This is V1.

1187. When your hands are lifted, everybody has a revelation of son.

1188. But this generation needs a revelation of slave.

1189. The apostle Paul called himself a prisoner, a prisoner to

  1190. the gospel.

1191. I think sometimes we don't understand what freedom is until

  1192. we've been a prisoner for a little while.

  1193. Loud.

  1194. Come on, somebody.

1195. And so what God wants to do right now is he wants.

  1196. Even in a 9am sermon.

1197. I know some of y' all, like, Mike, you preached so hard today.

1198. Why would you do that?

1199. Because I want you to leave this place saying, all right, I'm

1200. going down to that pit.

  1201. I'm destroying it.

1202. See, first you blame the demon, and then you got delivered

1203. from a demon and you went right back to it.

1204. It's because you need now to be.

1205. A banaya, to go down into that pit and destroy that line and do.

1206. The thing that God's called you to do.

1207. And so with your hands lifted towards heaven, if you're willing

1208. to go there with me, this is the true go v1 message say, Heavenly

  1209. Father, I surrender all.

1210. My surrender is my strategy now.

1211. I will war like Benaiah.

1212. I'm going into the pit.

  1213. I'm fighting the lion.

  1214. Like, come on.

  1215. Come on.

1216. I feel the anointing flowing right now.

1217. I don't know if y' all can feel it.

1218. I don't know if y' all can feel it.

1219. Say this with me like Abraham.

1220. I'm breaking the curse on my bloodline.

1221. I'm going all the way.

  1222. I'm walking by faith.

1223. I'm walking by the spirit.

1224. Come on, help me out, Angela.

1225. Come on, help me out.

1226. Let's just begin to work, Sam.
