Church, I'm right here in Nazareth, simulcasting live from

Israel, and I have an important message for you today.

You know, this is the cliff where literally they attempted to

physically throw Jesus off.

And it's a.

It's a powerful experience to be here in person, but I had to bring

you along on this journey with Jesus.

So, church, give me two minutes, and I'm gonna name what

people are feeling, but they just can't explain right now.

Pain is louder right now.

Not just sadness, but actual rejection.

And rejection has a sound.

Sounds like outrage, division, defensiveness, and even numbness.

Some of you are experiencing this.

And so, you know, we're opening the Scriptures and we're

walking with Jesus.

There's this Old Testament echo.

There's this gospel confirmation, there's the apostolic

application until your pain gets a name, a.

A pathway and a healing.

And it happens now.

So let's start with the Old Testament.

So Joseph gets rejected, but then he gets appointed.

And when you look at Genesis, chapter 37, Joseph's story starts

with betrayal from the people who should have protected him.

Does anybody know what that feels like?

His brothers don't just misunderstand him.

They literally sell him.

And if you've ever felt betrayed, you know that sting.

It's not just the pain of an event.

It's the pain of a lifetime of reliving it.

Now jump to Genesis 50, verse 20.

Genesis 50:20

Because Joseph says, as for you, you meant evil against me, but

God meant it for my good.

Come on.

Can I get an amen?

Joseph teaches this principle.

Rejection can be real and still not be final.

Betrayal can be true, but still not be destiny.

So what they meant for evil?

Come on.

God meant it for.

For good, y'.

All, I'm telling you, something's different here in Israel

through this simulcast, there's a powerful truth that I want

to get through to you today.

So let's go now to the New testament.

Luke, chapter 4, verse 16.

Luke 4:16

And he came to Nazareth, and as was his custom, he went to the

synagogue.

So this is Jesus going to the synagogue, as was his custom.

Jesus had holy rhythm before he had public platform.

Come on.

That'll talk to somebody.

Some of you are praying for a breakthrough, but you still don't

have a bedtime.

Come on.

You want revival, but your alarm clock needs deliverance.

Am I right?

Come on.

Jesus had a custom, and we have chaos.

Let's repent.

Come on.

Luke 4, 18, and 19.

Jesus begins to read.

The spirit of the Lord is upon me to proclaim good news.

Liberty sight to set at liberty, those who are oppressed.

Now, that's deliverance language.

That's healing language.

That's freedom language.

Then In Luke, chapter 4, verse 21, it says, Today, this scripture

has been fulfilled in your hearing.

Now, he says, this is me.

This is now the Messiah.

Now, at first, they actually love it.

Luke, chapter 4, verse 22 says that they speak well of him.

Luke 4:22

They liked him at first.

Then things begin to turn.

Wait a second.

Isn't this Joseph's son?

That's when the familiarity trap was set.

They measured Jesus by their memory, not by the word.

Come on.

Jesus exposes the heart.

Oh, you want miracles without repentance?

You want benefits without surrender?

Then In Luke, chapter 4, verse 28, it says, they were filled with

Luke 4:28

wrath and they brought him to the brow of the hill.

I'm standing there right now to throw him down this cliff.

A sermon literally turns into attempted murder.

Think about what I'm saying.

Okay, here's the pattern.

Truth is spoken.

It brings exposure, which brings offense, rage, and then destruction.

That's Nazareth.

That's relationships.

That's the comment section on the Internet.

That's what happens when pride refuses repentance in your own family.

Now let's.

Let's go a little bit deeper though, okay?

Offense is a trap with a clock.

All right, so now open to Matthew, chapter 24, verse 10.

Matthew 24:10

Many will fall away and betray one another and even hate one another.

Not a few people, many.

Offense doesn't stay offense.

Offense becomes betrayal.

Betrayal becomes hatred.

Now open to Hebrews, chapter 12, verse 15.

Hebrews 12:15

With me, it says that no root of bitterness springs up, and by

it, many become defiled.

Look at that word, many.

Again, bitterness is underground.

I mean, you can worship, put your hands up on the surface, but

be poisoned underneath.

Rejection is not only an emotion, it's actually a doorway.

Rejection tries to rename you.

Unwanted, unseen, disqualified, alone.

And if you accept that name, you're gonna start living from self

protection.

Isolation, numbness, control, lust, cynicism, anger.

And Proverbs, chapter 18, verse 14 says, A crushed spirit who

Proverbs 18:14

can bear.

I mean, some of you aren't crushed because you lack faith.

You're actually crushed because you've carried rejection

for far too long.

Come on.

The psalm that breaks rejection in Scriptures comes to

mind right now.

And when you look at Psalm chapter 27, verse 10 says, for my

Psalms 27:10

father and my own mother have forsaken me, but the Lord will take

me in.

Think about this.

Some of you didn't just lose friends.

Some of you actually lost family.

You lost a parent emotionally, even if they're still alive, you

lost the person who should have covered you.

But God saw it, and he wrote Psalm 27, verse 10 like a hand on

Psalms 27:10

your face, saying, no, I'm here.

I'm here.

And Isaiah, chapter 43, verse 1, says, I have called you by name.

Isaiah 43:1

You are mine.

Rejection says, you don't belong.

But God says, no, you are mine.

See, this is Sonship begins to heal.

What rejection has actually broken.

And it's from one of the places of Christ's greatest rejection

that I'm preaching this message.

I think about Romans, chapter 8, verse 15.

Romans 8:15

You have received the spirit of adoption as sons.

See, the opposite of rejection is not applause.

It's adoption.

Come on.

That's why In Ephesians, chapter 1, verses 4 and 5, it says

Ephesians 1:4

that you are chosen and adopted in Christ.

So hear me.

If you are chosen, you don't have to beg to belong.

If you are adopted, you don't have to perform to be loved.

If you are his, you don't have to carry the name rejection gave

you.

No, come on.

That is not your true name.

You begin to say, I am not disqualified.

I belong to God.

I am loved right now.

Not for what I'm going to do, not for what I'm going to accomplish.

Come on.

So we're gonna begin to, in a few moments, begin to go into renouncing,

which means to verbally reject.

And we're gonna say some things out loud.

But before we go into this renouncing.

Cause this is gonna be a powerful moment for somebody.

I was thinking about right over, right here in Nazareth.

There was a demonized man who came into the synagogue where Jesus

was located.

And here's what's crazy.

And I never put the two things together until now.

The demon in the man says, holy One of God, Jesus of Nazareth.

Why are you here?

Here's the thing that's crazy.

The people who thought they knew Jesus Christ the most dishonored

him, became familiar and rejected him.

But even the demon recognized and acknowledged who he is.

Oh, come on.

There's some of you that your own family doesn't know who you really

are, but the demons do.

There's some of you that your own family has gotten familiar with.

You, your friends, sometimes even people in church.

And they try to reduce your calling down to what they think you're

capable of doing.

They try to cancel your calling at the altar of familiarity.

But Jesus comes and destroys that demonic altar and says, no,

you are who God says you are.

You will do what God says you will do.

And there is even a recognition in the demonic realm

of true identity.

So come on.

I'm just.

I'm about to pray in a few moments.

I need every single one of you to stand on your feet right now.

Across every location, every home, every campus, a V.1 church.

Let's all stand to our feet right now.

And here's what's powerful.

We're gonna renounce all of these false names of rejection.

And I'm doing this simulcasting from the place where

they physically tried to throw Jesus off this hill.

But what does he do?

He just walks right through the crowd.

And then, as a matter of fact, they call it the gospel trail, because

he continues his journey.

And he just walks to Capernaum.

He goes to the next assignment.

In other words, he goes to where he will be accepted.

He goes to the place where he will be received.

Here's the thing.

You got to learn how to shake the dust.

Come on.

If they don't see the gifting that God gave you, here's the good

news.

They still can't stop it.

The Bible says the gift of God.

Come on.

The gift of God, the gift he gave you will make room for you and

bring you before great men.

They could do whatever they want to do, but the only thing they

can't do is stop you.

You can stop you when you keep that name that rejection gave you.

So with everyone on their feet right now with hands lifted towards

heaven, I want you to say this with me.

Come on, we're gonna do this all together.

We're gonna reject rejection right now.

Come on, say this with me.

I renounce every false name, every false identity.

I renounce it in the name of Jesus.

I am adopted, bought by the blood of Jesus.

Come on.

I belong to him.

And every false name be broken off of me in the name of Jesus.

Come on, Say it all with me across every location right now.

Say it like this.

Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.
