When Christ was born. Beloved brothers and sisters in
-
Christ, the lovers of the Lord, beloved of the Lord, I want to
-
take this opportunity, this time, this blessing, as parish
-
priest of the Saint Ade or the Saint Thaddeus Church or Parish
-
of the Holy Apostolic Catholic and Syrian Church of the East,
-
Diocese of California. Take this time firstly to wish
-
His Holiness, our Holy Father Marawa, the Third Catholicos
-
Patriarch, all our beloved prelates, all our beloved
-
priests, deacons, brothers and sisters in Christ in the entire
-
world wish you a very Merry Christmas.
-
May the blessings of the Holy birth of our Lord and our
-
Saviour in flesh, God Incarnate, be a blessing upon you, the
-
Prince of Peace. We are celebrating the birth of
-
the Prince of Peace 2025 years ago.
-
God sent his Son. God sent his peace into the
-
world. So we should not ask for God to
-
send his peace. We should pray and beseech the
-
Lord with a contrite spirit in faith that Lord, the peace that
-
was wrought, the peace that was introduced through your Son our
-
Lord Jesus Christ. May that peace be embedded in
-
our hearts, in the hearts of the kings and the presidents and the
-
prime ministers and the premiers of and the governors who rule.
-
And we pray for them as well, that they may rule righteously,
-
that they may rule according to the righteousness of God through
-
His Son our Lord Jesus Christ. I know there are people out
-
there that are mourning the death of their loved loved ones.
-
I know there are people out there that are hurting, their
-
hearts are broken. People are experiencing
-
financial difficulties, spiritual difficulties, physical
-
difficulties, psychological difficulties.
-
I know there are people out there that are almost going to
-
give up, on the brink of giving up, but don't celebrate the
-
reception, the birth of the Prince of Peace, of Hope, of
-
deliverance, which is Jesus Christ.
-
This year, when we do celebrate through worship, I encourage you
-
to attend the churches and don't attend that last 10 and 15
-
minutes. No, be there in the beginning
-
when the priest proclaims in the far in the name of the Father
-
and of the Son of the Holy Spirit, invoking the Trinity in
-
that gathering, that worship gathering.
-
And when the priest proclaims glory to God in the highest and
-
on earth, peace and Good Hope to mankind, just as the angels did
-
to be a part of that, to reply Amen, yes, Amen.
-
Jesus is the Savior. Beloved, the world, the world
-
needs the peace of Jesus Christ. Don't be fooled about these
-
proclamations of peace, peace. They will only be peace in the
-
Middle East when the Middle East has come to Christ and received
-
by faith and humbled itself and received Jesus Christ, the Son
-
of God, the Lord, God the Saviour, the one true Christ
-
Christ. And that's when peace will come.
-
But those who have believed, God bless you, remain in faith.
-
Whatever hardship you have, allow the peace of God, the
-
peace of God, free Son, our Lord Jesus Christ to fulfill your
-
heart, to comfort your heart, to console your heart, celebrated
-
with your family and friends, in love, in joy, in pride.
-
Beloved, we are the children of God.
-
Through our faith in Jesus Christ and being baptized, we
-
are the children of God. God has adopted us as his sons
-
and daughters. God bless you, enjoy it, and may
-
the New Year 2026 all be according to the perfect will of
-
God through His Son our Lord Jesus Christ.
-
Praise and glory be to His name now, not all times and forever.
-
Amen.
