Okay.

Now, I'm gonna move quickly, and I promise, for as much as I'm

a preacher as I am, I'm gonna teach today.

Now, I might teach very loudly at some points, but it's a teaching.

And so you're gonna have to take notes on this one.

As.

As a matter of fact, my number one concern getting up in front of

you today was that you would not.

Cause I went through this message several times, and I thought,

this is a download from heaven.

I did not know that there would be a divine convergence with

what's happening in our world, with what God wants me to preach

from this pulpit.

But how many of you know that there are some pulpits in America

that don't have spineless pastors that will actually be humble

and submitted to the Lord and say whatever he wants them to say?

And so this pulpit is sacred.

And there's a reason why God's brought many of you here to hear

this message.

And in all humility, I was shocked when I saw the convergence

of what's happening in time with what's happening through this

message.

So try to take.

I'm imploring you, even those of you watching with ADD adhd.

I'm praying you're miraculously cured during this sermon,

because you.

Please.

It already happened.

You were like squirrel.

Come on, focus.

The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.

All right?

So please stay with me.

All right, so as I begin, I've been reading the Scriptures.

I'm gonna have a book available to you called Journey with

Jesus that we're wrapping up.

And I all of a sudden, became aware of a pattern.

And I never saw this before, and I started to write it down and

look at it.

So here's the pattern.

Number one is, kings are supposed to be born in palaces.

And this is what we expect from royalty.

You know, it's clean, it's safe, it's on a lofty high hill.

But when God sends the true king, he sends him into a manger.

And so Jesus starts his story not in a palace, but in a manger.

And so if you look at Luke, chapter 2, verse 7, it says, and

Luke 2:7

she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in

swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger because there was no

room for him in the inn.

So a manger, really, in that time, was most likely a stone feeding

trough.

So it would have been a place where animals ate.

And Jesus is placed into the very place you don't put your baby,

if you've ever had a baby.

You know what I'm talking about?

Now I'm not talking about the third born.

Because by the time you get to the third born, and if you're a third

born, we know why you're in therapy right now.

Cause your parents barely even cared because they're so exhausted

from the first and the second.

But that firstborn baby, you know, you're not put putting your

baby in a manger unless you have to.

So Jesus was placed in a filthy place, in a place where you

feed animals.

Okay, but let's look at this pattern, see if you can see it with

me.

Number two is religious leaders.

In his day, they were perceived as holier than average

people.

So the one thing you would never see is a religious leader with

sinners.

They stayed far away from this, the mess of the sinner's life,

the drunkenness and these, these different things and the debauchery.

They stayed away from the compromise, from the outcast.

But then look what Jesus does in Matthew, chapter 9, verse 10.

Matthew 9:10

And Jesus reclined at the table at the house.

And behold, many tax collectors and sinners were reclining

with Jesus and his disciples.

And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to the disciples,

you know, why does your teacher eat with all these sinners?

So just like the manger, Jesus goes to the place you're not supposed

to go.

Keep this in mind.

As a matter of fact, he goes to the very place no one else will

go.

That's a religious leader.

Now let's look.

Number three.

When the storm come, many people during storms, we lock ourselves

inside.

We get out a good book, we put on a new Netflix show.

You know, we don't go to work.

We just had a blizzard.

And during the blizzard, you know, Mom, Donnie, our mayor is saying,

don't go outside.

I mean, so this is what is normal, is we stay inside during

storms.

But Jesus literally does the opposite in Matthew, chapter 14,

Matthew 14:25

verse 25, during the fourth watch of the night.

So matter of fact, not only is it a storm, but it's also at night.

And we stay inside at night.

So he's every reason to stay inside, but he goes and walks on

the water in the storm.

So, okay, I got one more for you.

This is Mark, chapter 5, verse, verses 1 and 2.

Mark 5 · chapter mention

This one, when I was in Israel, it hit different because

he basically avoids or I'm sorry, Jews would avoid this area,

but Jesus walks into it.

It's on the other side of the lake called Galilee because it's

basically, they know this place is full of demons and it's

full of Gentiles.

So Jews stay over here, and Gentiles, they live over there.

And by the way, those Gentiles, many of them even have

demons.

So we definitely don't go there.

But then we see in Mark, chapter five, it says they came to

the other side of the sea.

Which, by the way, if you're reading the Bible and you.

And you read the part where it says they came to the other side

of the sea, you just read right over that.

You don't even think nothing about it.

But it's essentially like them saying, and they went to the south

side of Chicago, and then they went to the bad part of the Bronx,

you know, like, then they went to Wyandance or I don't know where

in Long Island.

And listen, if you're from the Bronx, we love you.

Just if you're from Wyandance, we love you.

We'll start a kid.

I'm the south side of Chicago, but there are these places that get

a reputation for being the places you shouldn't go.

Am I right?

And as a matter of fact, if you're gonna start a church, Oh,

I love Pastor Mike's preaching, but I don't wanna go there.

Because Christians, even Christians, there's places we go

and we don't go.

Are y' all with me?

Right?

Just like when I said we're gonna do the breakers in Chicago,

and everyone's like, chicago, can't you put it somewhere nice?

I'm like, no, no.

We're actually called, like, Jesus to go to the places that society

says we're not supposed to go.

Because that's the very thing the devil doesn't think we're going

to do.

And what I' in life is, if you want to know what your purpose is,

do the thing the devil doesn't think you'll do.

That was worth the whole entry.

That was worth your whole drive to church.

What's my purpose?

I'll tell you.

Your purpose is the thing the devil doesn't think you will do.

Because the devil doesn't think I'll preach because I'm introverted.

Well, devil, I'm preaching right now.

This is my purpose.

Whatever the devil doesn't think you will do, that is your purpose.

And so what I find in the life of Jesus is, kings don't go to mangers,

but that's exactly where Jesus is going.

Kings don't.

They stay away from storms because their life is so precious.

But Jesus takes authority and walks on the water.

And then Jesus goes to the Other side, where all the demonized

Gentiles are, and he takes his disciples with him.

Aren't you thankful that you serve a Jesus that goes where Jesus

was not supposed to go because he went into your lowest value value?

He went into the crack house.

He went into your porn addiction.

He went into your adultery.

Jesus went into the filthiest places of your life because that's

what makes him the Savior.

So let's take a strange field trip now that you understand a little

bit more about Jesus.

Because over and over again, Jesus does the same thing.

He walks into the places people avoid.

He walks into the places people fear.

And he walks into the places people say are too broken to fix.

Are you sure?

Stop telling me to leave the very thing God told me to walk into.

I don't care how dangerous it is.

I'm dangerous through Christ.

The devil should be afraid that I'm in New York City.

You know what I'm saying?

People think that they help you.

It's too expensive.

You know what's more expensive?

Being outside of God's will.

It'll cost you your life.

Come on.

You might be saving money in Idaho, but you're losing your purpose

by not being in New York City.

And no shade to all my friends from Idaho.

We love you.

We love your potatoes.

They're amazing.

I just ain't called to potatoes.

I'm called to war.

So God brought me to New York City.

Don't try to take me out of the game, Coach.

Feel feisty.

So let's take a strange field trip now, because this is the.

I was trying to get to this moment right here.

So Jesus basically takes his disciples on another one of these

strange field trips, and he leads them about 25 miles north of

the Sea of Galilee.

By the way, I just got back from this location where I did additional

teaching, which is all available on my YouTube channel.

And if you guys are sleeping on my YouTube channel, you're missing

It's not about the views.

I'm simply saying I've done every sermon I've preached on Sunday.

I have a whole nother curriculum I've been releasing, and

it's been so good.

So please, feed yourself the word of God.

But I actually stood in this place.

It's called Caesarea Philippi.

And it is.

Okay, how many of you want to just go there with me?

Let's go deep, because it's about to get really weird.

Can I make it really weird?

Can I preach one of the weirdest, weird sermons I've ever

preached?

Okay.

Matthew, chapter 16, verse 13.

Matthew 16:13

Now, when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he

asked his disciples a question.

Now, before I give the question, we have to understand this

location because again, if you're just reading the scriptures,

you miss it.

The fact that a Jew brings his followers, who are also Jews, into

Caesarea Philippi is wild.

The fact that they agreed to go is even crazier.

So you understand, Jesus was constantly offending people by obeying

the will of the Father.

Let me just tell you, if you serve Jesus Christ, he will lead

you into places you don't want to go and cause you to be misunderstood

by the people who say they love you most.

Am I right?

If they don't call your church a cult, it's because it's not operating

in power.

If they don't challenge where you go, it's because where you go

doesn't have any power.

But when you begin to move in the direction of where Jesus called

you to go, it's gonna disrupt and disturb people who don't see

in the spiritual realm.

Because.

And this is the thing about the disciples.

They had to have understood on some level that Jesus was who he

said he was.

And even though it didn't make logical sense to him, to them, they

did what he said to do because they trusted in him.

And the thing about V1 Church.

And listen, if you're watching this online right now or you're watching

on television, you don't belong to V1 Church.

You could just mute this for a few minutes.

Can I talk to my own church?

I'm not taking you where I want to go.

I'm trying to take you where he's telling me we should go.

And there are going to be times where people don't understand

that.

As a matter of fact, I want to shout out our 3P team because they

do preaching and prayer and prophecy every week.

And I told them, I said, I want to start Preaching in the subway

system of New York City, because I have a vision of starting

some revivals in the subway.

As much as I love these big stages, y' all know, I'm still a

street fighter.

You know what I mean?

Like, I haven't always been ufc.

I'm still from the streets.

In other words, I like to take the gloves off every once in a while.

And I was saying, man, I want to go preach in the streets with

y' all because you.

I like you.

And as I was saying that, first of all, I took my wife out

on a date, and we were just, you know, we were on our little date.

Rah.

You know, like, loving each other, eating some steak.

Rah.

Rah.

You know, it was getting real nasty.

And I'm saying this for your benefit as disciples of Jesus Christ,

because if you're married, you better start making marriage look

good, because your marriage is a witness to Jesus Christ and his

bride.

You get what I'm saying?

And all the single people said, please, Lord, help me.

So we're on this date, and, you know, we're just.

Whatever.

And then this guy comes up to me and he's like, pastor Mike, that's

you?

And I said, yeah.

And he said, I was in Central park when you did the event, and

under Bethesda Terrace when it was raining, torrential, and.

And I'm in that video.

I'm the guy that was writhing around on the ground, manifesting

demons.

And I was like, praise God.

How do you feel?

He's like, I got delivered that night.

I've been free ever since.

And not only that, but the Lord told me, if you get delivered

from demons, you'll also get married.

Cause you'll be ready for a wife.

Cause you'll be free.

And he goes, right after that event, I met the woman that now became

my wife, and I'm married.

Isn't that amazing?

Fruit that remains.

Come on, somebody.

And so I told him, well, give me your phone.

And he gave me your phone.

I said, put your wife down.

I'm gonna send her a voice memo.

And I was voice memoing her wife, and I said, your husband is

so hot.

He's an amazing man of God.

I was trying to be a wingman.

You know what I'm saying?

Come on, men of valor.

Try to help a homie out.

I said, he's working so hard tonight trying to make that money

for y'.

All.

So.

But my point is that ministry happened not in the church, but in

New York City.

Because I'll tell you this, I Don't ever want to become a professional

Christian.

I'm not a circus lion, you know what I mean?

That does tricks on a stage for an audience in a circus.

And we gotta start leading the lost outside of the church too.

Am I right?

But here's why I want to shout out the 3P team.

Because they were like, you know what?

When all these outsiders come to New York City, the first thing

they always do is go to all of the tourist places of the subway

system.

And that's where they do the ministry.

And you know what it's like when the non New Yorkers come and

they say, we're gonna do something crazy for Jesus.

We're gonna preach in New York City.

And we're all like, get outta here.

You know, we.

You know what I'm saying, right?

You know how like the outsiders, you know, I can say this,

I'm a New Yorker now.

And so.

But then the 3P team from our church, they said, what if we went

to the Bronx?

What if we went here?

What if we went to the subway stops that nobody ever goes to and

starts revival in the dark of the subway system?

And here's why I started weeping when I read those messages

in that group chat.

Because I said, lord, I've tried so hard to pastor these people

to be like you.

Not like me, but to be like you, Jesus.

And I was preparing this sermon, and they didn't even know

I was preparing this sermon.

And I said, God, what a great church we have.

That when we say we're gonna go to the streets, they say, send

me to the darkest parts of the subway system.

Come on.

I'm celebrating that this church is starting to look like Jesus

Christ.

And the real disciples of Jesus Christ that say I don't have

anything to fear other than being outside of his will.

So I can't wait till the footage comes out of us just jumping

some demons in the subway system, you know what I mean?

And the reason why I say that is because this accessory of Philippi

on a level beyond you could ever imagine.

So let me break this down.

Cause I said it was gonna get weird.

So Caesarea Philippi is one of the most spiritually dark places

in all of Israel.

And it was the center of pagan worship.

So this is the very epicenter.

What made it attractive, and it was basically dedicated to the

Greek God Pan P A N. Have you ever heard of Pan?

He was like half goat, half man.

And what made this site, Caesarea Philippi, so attractive

to pagans was that it was a.

It's a cave, and that this.

Basically, this cave has a stream.

At that time, had a stream of water that would come out of the

cave.

And so these pagans would basically go there and they would

worship the God Pan.

How many of you have ever heard the word panic?

The root is Pan, and it actually comes from the pagan God

Pan.

So panic.

Think about the world right now.

What are we witnessing?

Panic.

So I'm going to unveil what I believe is one of the ruling spirits,

one of the demonic principalities that's functioning

over the earth right now.

And I believe it's the spirit of Pan which is producing panic in

the earth.

And I believe, and I'm speaking prophetically right now,

that what's about to happen in the days, the weeks, and the months

to come, the devil is gonna try to strike fear in the hearts

of believers.

And that spirit of Pan is gonna try to produce panic in a generation.

But how many of you know that Jesus is still walking his disciples

right up to the mouth of that pagan cave and saying, this is the

place you told me I can't go.

This is the thing you told me I couldn't say.

This is the thing I'm supposed to fear and be in panic?

No, no, God has not given me

this spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind.

Can somebody shout unto God if you

believe that you've been equipped so that you don't have to

bend your knee to this pagan God of Pan?

And so let me go a little bit deeper on what would happen.

So you have the mouth of a cave with a river coming out of it.

And this is really crazy, but I need to say it is.

They would get drunk at the mouth of the cave.

There would be drunkenness, There would be all kinds of sexual

immorality that would happen about anything you can imagine.

They would do it at the mouth of this cave because they believed

that because there was water flowing out of this cave, that it

was a portal.

And they believed that this portal was to Hades, the underworld.

So this.

So this cave in Caesarea Philippi that was dedicated by the

Greeks to the God Pan was a portal that went to Hades, which

was the underworld.

And as there would be all kinds of sexual perversion, there

would be drunkenness, and unfortunately, there would even be

human sacrifice where women would deliver babies, and they would

immediately take that newborn baby and hurl it into the cave as

a sacrifice.

Now, that same cave now is named Planned Parenthood.

And none of you gasped the last time you drove past it.

That same.

Come on.

It's a sacrifice that pagans make so that they can keep having

sex however they want and keep drinking however much they want.

Right now we call it a sporting event at a local stadium

to the God of Pan.

Right now we call it.

It's a college campus, It's a dormitory.

What are they doing in dormitories?

Rampant sex, drunkenness.

It's the same spirit behind of it.

And here's the thing.

The reason why I'm exposing it right now is because as I begin to

map out this series, when I look at Caesarea Philippi, we have

to march up to the mouth of that cave, and instead of acting

like the pagans, we need to start acting like the discip.

We're here to expose it, not to compromise with it.

We're here to call it out, not to compromise with it.

It's all of us gasped when we saw the Epstein files, not realizing

that as a culture, we've been sacrificing babies.

It's just that the elites are doing it to try to get more power.

But many of us have even been in circles and situations where we've

justified murder.

The reason why I'm speaking this so boldly is because these are

demonic in origin.

It's evil.

And what will happen is God will come in mercy.

He'll expose, he'll reveal.

But then how many of you know that the devil comes as an angel

of light?

So why did they throw babies into the mouth of the cave of Pan?

Why did they have rampant drunkenness and sexuality and however,

whatever form in front of the cave?

Because they believe that in doing those things, their life was

going to get better.

Isn't that the lie of addiction?

Hey, you're stressed out.

Just have more wine.

As a matter of fact, in our culture, when you're struggling unsafe

people, the cure for your struggle is they're going to take

you out to have a good time.

There's people who attend this church that the story of their family

is their own father buying them a prostitute to celebrate their

birthday.

But don't we normalize this in our society?

Because there's these same ancient demons in new days.

So now there's a question I was trying to get to.

And this is what Jesus does.

He takes his disciples on this journey.

It's another one of these crazy Jesus field trips to go to

the places that nobody's supposed to go.

And they get right up to the mouth of the cave.

They could hear the water running.

I mean, as a matter of fact, when they would throw the blood.

When they would throw the baby into the cave, they would say that

if the water went from red to then clear water, that was indication

of the approval of the God of Pan.

Don't you find it interesting that when Jesus was crucified, what

came out of his side?

Blood and water.

It was almost as if Jesus was saying, I have the ultimate authority.

See?

And it's.

And somebody else's child doesn't have to be sacrificed because

God's only son has been sacrificed.

And it's for once and for all.

But do you see how the devil has a counterfeit for everything

righteous?

See, this is what happens in the spiritual realm is there's always

a counterfeit.

And this is what is so important to understand.

And so when you look at this, in Caesarea Philippi, they had these

temples that were carved into the rock wall.

They had these drunken festivals, these sexual rites.

All this stuff is happening.

But as this stuff is happening, the question is asked

of the disciples right in front of it, who do you say I am?

Who do you say I am?

They're sacrificing to Pan.

They're giving their lives, their children's lives to Pan.

They're here thinking that they're going to appease a deity,

appease a God by doing all of these things.

Who do you say that I am?

And Peter famously answers correctly, you are the Christ.

You are the Messiah.

And this is really, really important because it happens at what

ancient people would have known as the gates of hell.

So I want you to picture this now.

There's a towering cliff.

This cliff is carved with pagan temples.

There's a dark cave that all the locals call the gates of hell.

It literally smells like the residue of sin and demonic sacrifice.

And it feels like evil actually owns that place.

People think that the devil owns New York City.

Remember, before they decriminalized weed and it didn't

smell like marijuana in our streets all the time.

Do you remember that?

See, what happens is, like, people think that the devil owns

our cities.

What I love about the ministry of Jesus is In Matthew, chapter 16,

Matthew 16:15

verse 15, it says, he said to them, but who do you think?

Who do you say that I am?

And Peter says, you are the Christ, the son of the living God,

in the shadow of those idols in front of the cave that people

think leads them to this underworld.

You know what's amazing?

When we moved into our new Manhattan venue after the service

was over, I was speaking to one of the gentlemen at the church,

and he said, you know what the Craziest thing about being here today

was I said what he said.

About 10 years ago, this was the club that I went to every single

weekend to destroy my life.

And he said, God brought me back to the very place where I used

to make all of my mistakes, to redeem me and to save me.

In the exact same venue.

The devil doesn't own that venue.

The devil doesn't own New York City.

The devil didn't own Caesarea Philippi.

But the kingdom of heaven suffers violence and the violent

have to take it by force.

You gotta stand and resolute, say, I'm gonna take it back.

By the way.

The devil doesn't own your children.

Why do you keep giving them away?

The devil doesn't own your school.

Why don't you get loud in your school?

The devil doesn't own it.

We've gotta take it.

So this is an era of taking.

Why?

Cause I'm getting to the good part.

We're almost at the end.

Matthew, chapter 16, verse 18.

Matthew 16:18

And I tell you, see, what happens is answering Jesus correctly

gets reciprocated with a prophecy.

See, when you learn who Jesus really is, you'll learn who you really

are.

Your real identity is not in the LGBTQIA community.

Your real identity is not in Islam.

Your real identity is not in academia and all the degrees and

the intelligentsia.

Your identity is not in being an influencer online.

And if I can only get enough followers and enough likes and enough

virality.

Your identity, when you find out who Jesus really is, when you

meet the real Jesus, he will introduce you to the real you.

But, see, this is where we get it wrong, because the world says,

I want to find myself, but Jesus says, when you lose your life,

that's when you will find it.

See, this is what I'm trying to preach to a generation right now.

See?

Oh, I had to go on a journey to find myself.

No, if you went on that journey without Jesus, you will never

find the true you.

But that journey is not to find yourself.

It's to lose yourself.

Lose yourself.

Serving the local church.

I know this isn't popular amongst the

cancel culture bloggers, and everybody wants to

say, the church used me, but God used me.

I was used by the devil, so God used me.

I'd rather be a slave in the local church than be a slave to sin.

Use me, God.

Only a soft generation would be mad that they worked two hours

for the church when they spent six hours on their phone in the same

day.

God, use me,

y'.

All.

I know this isn't popular.

But if you've ever been prostituted by the devil, you're

not gonna be mad that somebody signed you up for a group.

I know this ain't popular preaching, but David said, I was

glad when they said unto me, let us go to the house of God.

I'd rather be a front door greeter at the house of God than

to be the prince in the prison.

Come on, somebody.

Anybody hear what I'm talking about?

Is this speaking to anybody?

Am I rattling some cages out there?

Because when you meet the real Jesus, he will introduce you to the

real you.

College can't help you find yourself content.

Can't help you find yourself.

But when you meet the real Jesus, then he will flip the script

and say, now let me tell you who you are.

See, he says, you are Peter.

What does Peter mean in that original language?

You are a fragment of the rock.

So Jesus is speaking on multiple layers right now, and it's

so much more profound than you can imagine.

So he's saying, peter, this is what he says in Matthew, chapter

Matthew 16:18

16, verse 18.

I tell you, you are Peter.

You're a fragment of the rock.

And on this rock, the blood stained, the wine stained, the filth

stained rock of Caesarea Philippi.

Upon this rock.

And by the way, Peter, you're a fragment of this rock.

You're just like this place.

Sinful.

You're just like this place, always trying to appease a deity,

always trying to go through the motions in hopes that your life

gets better.

But upon this rock, I will build my church.

And the gates, I wonder if he even pointed to the mouth of the

cave.

And the gates of hell will not prevail against it.

There's so many layers that are happening right here.

And I need you to get this.

The rock is a revelation that Jesus is the Messiah, the son of

the living God.

But then what I find interesting is he says, upon this

rock, I'll build my church, which means every single time you

look at the building, you're gonna be reminded of the foundation

every time.

If I'm gonna build my church on the rock of the place of the most

filth, the most heinous, demonic, satanic, Luciferian, crazy

sin, then every single time I even behold the church, it will be

a reminder of the rock that it was built on.

It's almost as if God was saying, don't ever forget your testimony.

Don't ever forget where you came from.

There's some prideful Christians that forgot what they

got delivered from that have a beam in their eye.

Pointing out a speck in someone else's eye.

Oh, no.

I know the Caesarea Philippi that Jesus Christ took his life and

built the church upon.

I know where I came from.

I remember when I sinned.

I remember when I walked away.

I remember when I was in a place I could not save myself, I

could not heal myself.

I could not go.

I don't know about you, but I've never gotten over being saved.

Some people get over getting saved, and they get hungry, high

and mighty.

And they learn more and increase in wisdom and knowledge,

but they don't increase in humility because they forgot Caesarea

Philippi.

Lord, I remember.

I remember what it felt like.

It's when the whole room was spinning

and I put a foot on the

ground and I'm saying, God, please let me sober up.

I remember what it feels like to

go to an oak, to an empty

home because my wife walked out, because

I was so trapped in my sin.

I remember Caesarea Philippi.

You know, only a narcissistic, prideful Christianity would have

a whole bunch of preachers preaching, peter, you're the rock.

But not acknowledging Caesarea Philippi is where the church is going

to be built.

You know what I'm saying?

So some of us.

I think the body of Christ needs a mega dose of humility right

now.

Because sometimes we forget Caesarea Philippi and we gasp when

we read Epstein's files.

But heaven has your files, and thank

God your files were redacted by the blood of Jesus.

Thank God your files are.

Were washed by the blood.

Your files sent you to hell, too.

But the blood tried a different story.

And heaven canceled your death because of the blood.

Thank God.

So what's about to happen in the days to come is there is going

to be a sifting.

Did.

Did Jesus not pray for Peter and say, peter, I'm praying for you

because the devil asked me, can I sift him?

This is what's happening in the earth right now.

There's a sifting that's happening.

You think it's Iran versus Israel?

No.

No.

It's God versus Satan.

Where do you stand in all of this?

Where do you stand?

And there's something about Peter that.

Caesarea Philippi.

I want to show you one more thing.

Can I show you one more thing?

Okay, so the third layer is that Peter's confession is also the

rock upon which the church is gonna be built.

So Jesus was speaking in so many different layers, and what he's

saying is, hey, your confession that I'm Messiah is also

the Rock upon which I'll build my church.

So I want to tell you this.

Therefore there is no condemnation to those who are in

Christ Jesus.

When you confessed him as Messiah, that became the rock.

Come on, you're not building your house on sand.

You're building it on the rock.

That confession was good.

Romans, chapter 10, verse 9.

Romans 10:9

Once you confess with your mouth and believed in your heart,

it's not.

You're going to be saved.

You are saved.

And the devil's going to try to remind you.

The devil's gonna try to put it

in your face what you did.

And you're saying, no, devil, I didn't forget what I did.

God forgot what I did.

I didn't forget what I did.

And that keeps me humble.

God forgot what I did, and that gets me into heaven because

he said, I'll remember your sins no more as far as the east is

from the west.

So that confession became a rock.

But here's.

Here's how I want to wrap this all up.

He said, not even the gates of hell will prevail.

But gates don't attack.

Gates don't move.

Gates are not an army.

Gates are a prison.

Gates are there to keep things in and try to keep powerful things

out.

So when Jesus talks about the gates of hell, he's not describing

hell on the offense.

He's describing the church on the offense.

He's saying, hell built some gates, but they are not able to hold

the people that I'm coming for.

The church is not hiding from hell.

The church is storming it.

The kingdom of God is advancing, and hell cannot stop it.

Somebody shout, I'm not hiding from hell.

Come on, shout it louder.

I'm not hiding from hell.

We are not hiding from hell.

All right, try to take a seat for a few more moments because I.

I gotta talk to you about gates.

Gates.

Everybody say gates.

Don't go there.

Just write it down.

In Ruth, chapter four, verse one, it says now, Boaz had gone up

to the gates and sat there.

Where is he?

At the gate.

And behold, the Redeemer, of whom Boaz had spoken came by.

So Boaz said, turn aside, friend.

Sit down here.

And he turned aside and sat down.

The gate is where Boaz finalizes the redemption.

So it's where the future was decided.

If you go back to the story in Ruth, people missed us all the time.

It was a gate.

Because gates are portals.

They're places of decision.

Even pagans know this.

We are in a spiritual gate right now.

We are in a spiritual time of decision right Now, I'm telling you

this as my church because I love you.

But with what's happening militarily, with the ufo, UAP disclosure

that's coming, you're standing literally in a gate where people

are going to have to determine who do I serve, which God do I serve?

It's.

We're in a gate.

And the story of Ruth and Boaz, you see that it's determined

in a gate.

Psalm 24, verse 7 says, Lift up your head, O gates, and be lifted

Psalms 24:7

up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.

Gates can be lifted up for the King of Glory to enter.

And guess what's going to happen?

Resurrection Sunday in Times Square.

We are going to fulfill Psalm 24, verse 7, and we are going to

Psalms 24:7

lift up the gates so that the King of Glory can descend into Times

Square and it's going to be televised all over the world and

live on online.

How many of you believe that we're going to lift up the gates

of New York City so that the King of Glory can come right in?

Come on.

And what are the gates?

We lift up our eyes.

We point the world to Jesus.

Not to Mike, not to V1 worship.

But we say, lift up your gates, New York City.

Enter in King of glory.

Come on.

How many of you are excited for what's getting ready to happen?

We're less.

We're about a month away.

Then In Revelation, chapter 21, verse 25, Jesus stands at the

Revelation 21:25

door and he knocks, he invites, but he does not kick the

door down.

This is this.

This is what I'm saying about how this message was one of the craziest

messages I've ever written Because I realized.

Watch.

He's telling the disciples that not even the gates of hell will

prevail against the kingdom.

He's telling them, but he's asking them, what do you think of

me?

Because there's one gate that he can't get through without permission,

and it's your heart.

This was one of the biggest revelations I've ever had where it's

like heaven can invade anything, but the one thing it can't

is your heart.

If you don't give permission.

This is why you'll be in revival and your husband next to

you will be saying, I can't stand this church because you opened

the gate and he kept his closed.

This is why Peter will die upside down, crucified, saying, I'm

not even worthy to be crucified like Jesus.

Meanwhile, Judas will betray him because one opened up the gate

and the other one Kept it closed.

The reason why I announced the Global Gospel Crusade this year is

because the Lord told me.

He said, mike, I want you to go all over the world preaching the

gospel to see who will open the gates to the Lord.

I just got back from Los Angeles.

I stood in the very place where Amy Simple McPherson founded

her church.

I was right there in LA.

That woman, I talked about her from this stage, and yet I was just

there in her building.

She's been gone for 100 years now, but it was like I.

As I prayed for Los Angeles, I just saw all these people just rushing

the stage, crying, giving up vapes, surrendering their lives to

God, canceling suicides, and it's just the gates opened.

My concern for some of you is that you become so religious that

you have a gate called religion, and you have your mind

made up, how things should be, what should be done.

And you're standing.

Think about the Pharisees.

The Pharisees are watching Jesus go into the place where there's

tax collectors and sinners, and they're mad at him for being

a savior.

They're mad at him for going into the place.

But the thing was, the sinners opened their gates, and they were

saying, you want to spend time with me?

You want to be with me?

You even knowing what I did.

They call you the rabbi.

They call you the master.

You're the one that does the miracles.

You're the ones that cast out the demons.

You're the ones that.

You're the one that the multitudes follow, and you want to

be with me.

Jesus said, I didn't come for those who are well, but I came for

those who are sick.

And you're exactly who I want to be with.

So what does the church look like?

All of us finding each other in a comment section on a YouTube

video, canceling another pastor?

Like the Pharisees standing on the edge?

Or do we find ourselves in the places where people are so desperate

that they're like, man, I just.

I'll take anything.

I was in Los Angeles just last week, and I was preaching from that

stage, and I said, you know who never told me they don't want

deliverance are the people who are on the edge of death.

You know who never told me they don't want marriage counseling?

The one whose wife just.

Just left him.

Because the desperate, they're the ones that will open their gates.

The desperate are the ones who will

say, I'll take it.

And what I've seen happen over and over and over again is the smartest

one, the most talented one, the one

who they get passed up because they, they close their gate.

And then somebody that's the least likely says, I'm so desperate,

Lord, if you can use anything, use me.

And the Lord touches them and anoints him and gives us power.

And then you see that person rise up and it doesn't make any sense,

and people are offended.

But God lifts up certain people to be an offense to those

who close their gates.

The only explanation I have for my.

My life is I.

At a certain age, I started thinking to myself, God, did you

raise me up as a rebuke to those who think they know better?

Because something happens when you say God, who do you say?

Who do I say you are?

I've seen too much.

You're the Christ.

You're the Messiah.

There's something about opening our gates.

It's like I can feel people in the body of Christ closing their

gates.

Well, I used to go to church all the time.

I'm gonna go less because I have stuff to do.

My family, this and this.

I used to go to prayer nights.

I don't need.

I'll pray from home.

I used to go in person.

I'll watch online.

And I feel the gates closing.

I feel the gates closing.

I stood in this place seven days and prayed with a four campus

church, and only 50 people came each night.

Why?

Because the gates are closing.

Then.

Then all of a sudden, they would see online, someone posted

in the next day, 100, 150.

It grew.

And I said, lord, how do we get to the point where we open up

for prayer?

And more people come for prayer than Sunday service because

the gates are open and they're bringing their friends saying, come,

be healed, Be healed.

If I could take my baby to throw it in a cave with water, I

can take somebody else's baby to the church and say, there's living

water.

You can be healed in this place.

If you can take your friend to a baseball game, then you can take

your friend to church.

If you can take your friend to the bar to have a good time, you

can take him to the church to experience Jesus.

Open up the gates, church.

How many of you want to open the gates with me?

I don't want to be the Christian that gets to heaven and

realizes that I miss an opportunity.

Because in culture, we've normalized.

You want to go to the Yankees game, you won't go to the bar.

Let's normalize.

You want to go to church, you want to go into God's presence.

You want to be healed.

Nobody will think twice if you say, do you need to go to the doctor?

Hey, do you need prayer?

Let's open up.

Somebody say with me, open up the gates.

Jesus is literally telling his disciples, not even the gates of

hell will prevail against this kingdom.

But the condition is, will you open up your heart?

Come on.

We're closing here.

Over time, your heart becomes its own Caesarea Philippi.

On the outside, it's worship.

Christian speaking in tongues, your prayer language, maybe even

ministry.

But on the inside, carved into the rock, it's little temples of

fear, little temples of lust, little temples of control, little

temples of unforgiveness.

Places where you've said, this is too dark, this is too messy, this

is too painful, even for God.

Open up the gates.

If Jesus will walk his disciples into the gates of hell,

he's gonna walk with you to the gates of your own trauma.

There's no cave too dark.

There's no trauma too deep.

There's no memory too painful.

There's no place in your life where Jesus looks and says, well,

this is too messy for me.

He took them to the literal gates of hell so he could speak into

the metaphorical gates of hell in their own heart.

This is why so many pastors fall, because they know how to go

to church, but they don't know how to go to the gate.

They know how to go to the temple, but they don't know how to

sit with sinners.

They don't know how to.

There's something about this message, y'.

All.

We gotta stop being fake.

We got to stop acting like Caesarea Philippi doesn't exist.

That's what the Jews did.

Let's avoid it.

Let's not talk about it.

What happens there is weird.

What happened in my past.

Let's not talk about it.

No, no.

We are going to walk right up to it.

We're going to.

And we're going to say, jesus, enter into this private thing.

Enter into this hidden thing, God.

Bring your kingdom here.

And In Colossians, chapter 2, verse 15, it says, he disarmed the

Colossians 2:15

rulers and authorities and put them to open shame by triumphing

over them in him.

And I'll tell you what, Julie.

When we were on television and when the videos go viral of us telling

the story of our infidelity and my alcoholism, you know what's

actually happening?

God.

Because we were willing to go to Caesarea Philippi, he said what

was supposed to to be private shame will become

a public triumph, and I will disarm every demon.

And you can't be blackmailed if you tell on yourself.

But don't just tell them about Cesaria Philippi.

That's only the foundation.

Look what he built on top of it.

He built a church called B1 Church.

On top of it, he built up.

Somebody shout, tell the whole story, Devil.

Yeah, I see Caesarea Philippi.

But tell me what he built on top of it.

Yeah, come on.

You can stay on your feet.

Because that's how I stopped preaching.

The resurrection proved it.

And I love what he says.

And Jesus put them to open shame.

So every demon that thought that they were going to destroy my

marriage, destroy our ministry, destroy our life, I don't

take any credit in it.

But Jesus Christ put those demons to open shame.

And if he did it for me, honey, he can do it for you.

If he did it for my family, he's going to do it for your family.

Come on.

Somebody you want to tell on me?

Tell that old story.

I see more than Caesarea Philippi.

I see he built a church on top of it.

Hallelujah.

for telling her testimony online.

And the devil said, well, aren't you the pastor's daughter?

Didn't you vape?

Didn't you get all entrapped in that world?

Oh, yeah, I did.

But devil, tell the whole story.

It didn't stop at that.

But he's still healing.

He's still delivering.

He's still redeeming.

A righteous person may fall.

Come on.

How many times?

But then they get back up every single time.

Peter, get back up.

Peter.

You haven't preached your best sermon.

You haven't sang your best song.

You haven't wrote your book yet.

Peter, get back up.

Not even the gates of hell will prevail.

Matter of fact, they would throw their

babies into the cave.

You know what God did?

He caused the kingdom to come out of the cave.

In other words, the darkest thing in your life is what God is

going to monetize.

The thing that you don't think you could ever talk about is going

to be a thing that thrust you into the forefront.

Come on.

He'll take the thing that the devil thought he was going to kill

you with and give it to you as your weapon.

He'll take a broken marriage and turn it into a marriage ministry.

He'll take an addiction and turn it into a deliverance ministry.

Come on.

This is what my God does.

This is what my God does.

Y' all could keep worshiping pan, you keep giving the pan and

you keep sacrificing a pan.

But my God is not an idol.

That doesn't.

Ah, come on.

I don't serve an idol.

I serve the true and living God.

He'll take your best and make it your message.

He'll take that test and make it a testimony.

Only Jesus.

So he stands at the door in book of Revelation, and I find it

so interesting.

He knocks.

How could that be the same Jesus?

We have to give him permission.

So here's what I'm asking.

Will you give him permission?

See, this is what it all came down to.

When I was in my lowest of low, I didn't save myself.

I surrendered myself.

See, in the world, Tony Robbins yells in your face.

Come on, save yourself.

Learn more tactics, learn more strategies, buy more courses.

You know the gurus.

Save yourself.

Come on, try harder.

You know what's wrong with that message?

It doesn't work.

They get you on an emotional high.

They get you on adrenaline.

And then what happens when the motivation wears away?

You go right back.

Am I right?

You go to the other religions and they tell you, don't do it.

That's bad.

That I knew it was bad when I did it.

Matter of fact, I did it because it was bad and it felt good.

Am I right?

Come on.

Sinners say yes, you know, but you go to the church, don't do this.

I know what I'm not supposed to do.

That's why I did it.

So religion doesn't work.

Because even if I obey all these rules, I'm still doing it in

my heart.

Then Jesus shows up.

And Jesus says, don't save yourself.

Surrender yourself.

And when you surrender, you open up the gates, man.

My caesarea.

Philippi was right there in Valparaiso.

That was my darkest moment.

And right there, I'll never forget.

I was at my wits end.

I thought, I'm gonna kill myself tonight, or I'm gonna surrender

myself tonight.

That's why I've gone all over the world canceling suicides.

Cause I had to cancel my own a couple of times.

Anybody know what I'm talking about?

But I remember I got down.

We had a room in the back of our house.

And it was pitch black, dark.

And I was absolutely at my wit's end.

And I remember I got down on the carpet and I said, lord, I. I

can't save myself.

I surrender.

And the kingdom of heaven Rushed in to that room, and I began

that next journey.

It didn't mean everything was perfect, but it does mean that I

started a journey just like with Peter.

Peter said, you are the Christ.

The kingdom of heaven starts to fill the atmosphere.

Peter was gonna go through some stuff, but God knows the end

of a thing.

God knows the end.

The end.

Some of you don't even understand why he keeps being so

merciful with you.

It's because he sees the end of your life, and he knows that you

end with Him.

He knows that you end sanctified.

He knows that you end purified.

Some of you don't understand.

Why did he keep saving me?

Why did he keep picking me up?

Because God knows the end of a thing from a beginning, and he saw

the end of your life and knows

that you win with Him.

So across every location right now and everybody watching online

right now, we're gonna do a holy.

A holy response to this message, because Caesarea Philippi

is what the Lord wants you to confront right now.

The filth, the dirt, the ugly places.

And right there, from your seat.

The way that we're gonna do this is very simple.

If you're like, lord, I've been holding you out of certain spaces,

and I've been.

There's just something in my own heart.

I need to open up the gates.

What I want you to do is just lift your hands towards heaven.

If you feel that.

Come on.

There's many of us.

Come on.

Even at home right now, as you're watching, and the Lord sees,

when you lifted your hand, many of you thought, this isn't a

big deal.

I just.

No, no, no.

It is a big deal, because when you lifted your hands, you lifted

the gates, and the kingdom of heaven is about to enter.

What I'm going to start to prophesy over you from this stage

right now, because I feel the spirit of prophecy.

I hear the Lord saying, that thing that you thought you would

never tell anybody, that is your arsenal.

Once I turn it around, that thing that you hope nobody finds

out, that is your testimony.

And that is the weapon that I

am going to use to destroy your enemies in the spirit and to

promote you to higher levels of authority.

And as you lifted your hands in surrender, I heard the Lord say,

I am now going to begin to remove the shame.

Remove the shame.

Remove the shame from that season.

Remove.

Remove the shame from that act.

Some of you are perpetually going back to something, but I heard

the Lord say, the cycle ends with surrender.

The cycle ends with surrender.

You never fully Surrendered.

So you kept in the cycle, but full surrender will break the cycle

fully.

I hear the Lord saying that full surrender will end the cycle

fully.

And you surrender now.

Now.

So all over this place, even limiting beliefs that you have limitations

that you placed on yourself.

Peter went to go back to fishing.

We talked about this last week, and he said, you know what?

I can't be anymore.

Oh, I feel the anointing about what I'm about to say.

I gotta intercede before I say this, because some of you aren't

even going to get it unless you're in the pro.

You got to pray.

You got to pray.

The Lord's about to.

I feel like there's many of you that need to hear what I'm about

to say.

This is what I hear the Lord say.

For many of you.

You have told God I can't be any more than what I am.

I can't do any more than I'm doing, and I can't be any more than

I am.

And that actually, for many of you, is more demonic than when you

were getting drunk.

That is more demonic than when you were sleeping around.

That is the biggest demonic lie that

has been in your life is God,

I can't do any more than I'm

doing, and I can't be any more than I am.

That was the greatest attack on Peter's life, was, I'm just gonna

go back to fishing because all I am is a fisherman.

And we would never have had the apostle Peter if we did not break

that lie off of his life.

Come on.

Who is it on stage with me that has this lie on their life?

Who is it at the campus that has this?

God, I've done all I can do,

and I'm all I'm going to be.

This is the limit.

This is the end that is about to break off of many of you right

now.

If that's you, just lift your hands about to pray right now.

Because I feel something breaking in this spiritual realm.

I speak to every demon of mediocrity,

every demon of conformity, every demon to compromise every lying,

deceiving spirit that said

that you'll never be more, that you'll never do more.

And I break and release every single

one of you under the sound of my voice from the lies and the strongholds

of Satan.

And I say, you are the rock upon which God will build the church

and not even the gates of hell.

I release true destiny.

I release true identity.

I release visions and dreams that God would open your eyes so

that you would be and do all that he called you to do.

If you come into agreement with that, just begin to pray right

now.

Just tell him, lord, I receive it.

Even if you don't understand, Even if you don't want to agree with

it.

Even if it does.

Come on, say it.

Come on.

Let's just begin to sing.

Let's take a moment in worship.

Because whom the sun sets free is free indeed.

Something's happening right now in the spirit.

Come on, tell them.

Everything.

God, A new story.

See, I think for many of you, you were raised in the public educational

system.

That was.

What are you gonna be when you grow up?

What are you going to school for?

There's so many layers of false identity.

What I believe God wants to do tonight, what if God wants to do

right now, is, I believe, break off those false stories.

You are more than your degrees.

Your vocation.

And there's a. I kept hearing there's a different story.

Mom, you're right there on the front row.

Do you remember when me and you used to quote that scripture

back and forth to each other for years and years and years?

We would say, eye has not seen nor ear heard.

Neither has it entered into the heart of man.

That which I have prepared for you.

My mother and I used to say that scripture to each other over

and over and over and over.

And the reason why is because in our life, all we ever knew was

struggle.

All we ever knew was pain.

All we ever knew was.

So we had to tell each other.

There's.

There's another.

There's something else I has not seen.

Because pride says.

Well, I've seen it all.

I know what's going to happen.

I've already been there.

Oh, I'm going to go right back in the food stamp line.

I'm going to struggle.

I'm always, always going to be broke.

I'm always.

Oh, I know.

That's actually pride.

Do y' all hear me?

In the spirit, that's actually pride.

That says Oh, I know what's going to happen.

It never works out for me.

I'm always going to be the one that struggle.

Nobody likes me.

I'll never this.

So what happens is you have to declare the word.

And we would say, eye has not seen nor ear heard.

Neither has it entered into the heart of man that which God has

prepared for.

And we would say, God, you prepared something for me.

I don't know what it is.

I didn't think it was going to be a movie in 2000 theaters.

I didn't think it was going to be a seven campus church.

I didn't think, I didn't know what the Lord.

But I just said, God, I'm open.

And every step that he took me violated another version of me

because I

had to give him permission to do something greater through me than

I even believed about me.

Do y' all hear what I'm saying?

I am someone with low self esteem.

I am somebody with severe social anxiety.

So when I'm preaching to you, I'm preaching from a place of authority

because I'm telling you I've had to give God permission.

Well, I don't think I'm a movie maker.

But if you think I am, I

surrender to you God, and I'll do

whatever you want me to do.

I don't think I'm a lead pastor, but if you call me a lead

pastor, I'll surrender.

So there is a, a form of

pride that comes is false humility.

Oh, I'm talking welcome to the after party.

Oh, well, I'll never have money.

Why can't Christians be ridiculously wealthy?

That's false humility and a religious spirit.

What if God said I want to

give you a lot of money so you can give a lot of money?

What's wrong with that?

Who told you you can't?

What if, what if God is saying that you're going to be a best selling

author?

Well, I don't know.

I never even got good grades in English class.

God, if you called me an author, I don't understand it.

I don't even know if I believe it.

But I have to receive it because if you said it, God,

I got a book coming out in October Forward by John Bevere.

I can't even, I'm looking at the book like how did I get to the

point where John Bevere's writing the foreword to my book?

I'll tell you, I has not,

I

has not seen nor ear heard.

Neither has I. Lord, I'm open.

It hasn't even entered My heart.

But I'm opening the gates.

And whatever you want in, I'll let it in God.

Because it's not going to give me glory.

It's going to give you glory when you use somebody like me.

Come on, somebody, break free from these chains.

I can, I will, I shall.

I can, I will, I shall I can, I will, I shall.

And Jesus will get the glory.

You thought I forgot about that song.

That's why I told Aaron it can't be musicians from London.

It has to be our musicians going to London.

So V1 Worship believes that they are an international worship

team.

You hear what I'm saying?

The identity has to shift.

There's an identity that has to shift.

Why can't churches sing our song all over the world?

They already do.

See, I think what happened is.

Have you ever heard that term gatekeeping?

The devil's gatekeeping.

Your blessing.

But not even the gates of hell will prevail.

Because whatever God says I'll do, however long he says I'll live.

Whatever he says, I'll have eyes have not seen nor But I believe

and my heart open.

Because I feel a breakthrough.

Did a breakthrough happen out there?

And you know what I love is whatever age or whatever stage, the

Lord will raise up an example to clap back at you.

Well, I'm too old.

I give you Timothy.

Well, I used to kill.

I killed people.

I went.

I was.

I'm a killer.

I give you Paul.

Well, I'm not real eloquent.

I give you Moses.

You give me excuses, and I give you examples.

But the only difference between the excuse and the example

is who said yes.

Come on.

Timothy said yes.

Moses said yes.

Paul said yes.

Who's gonna say yes?

I'll say yes.

You do the rest.

God, open up the gates.

Change what you need to change God.

You can use anybody.

I won't be surprised when you use Robert Morris.

says can't be used.
