-
I will have to really look at my notes because this sermon was
-
not written, it was given.
-
This sermon was divinely given.
-
My hand could barely keep up as the Holy Spirit was revealing
-
this.
-
And so I'm going to be looking at these notes because something
-
was divinely given.
-
How many of you feel the importance of the hour that we're
-
in right now?
-
And we feel the significance of it.
-
Do I have any Esthers and Mordecai's here?
-
Do I have any Deborahs and David's here and Moses here?
-
Do I?
-
There's something about the time God has assembled an army for
-
such a time as this.
-
You know, it was funny.
-
We've got our kids in service, and I love watching the families
-
worship together.
-
There was a young boy that came up to my wife and he said, Ms.
-
Julie, I really need to talk to Pastor Mike.
-
It's very important.
-
And, you know, know.
-
She said, well, honey, what.
-
What.
-
What do you need to talk about?
-
Talk to Pastor Mike about, you know, yeah, sure.
-
What do you.
-
And he goes, it's very, very important.
-
I need a meeting with him.
-
It's urgent.
-
And.
-
And she said, well, you know, well, we're here to pastor you.
-
What do you need from.
-
From Pastor Mike?
-
And he said, I need the WI fi password for v1church.
-
It's.
-
So.
-
Son, I want to tell you, you are correct in your assumption that
-
I'm the only one as the founding lead pastor who has the
-
WI FI pass.
-
And I'm gonna tell you what I told to my staff.
-
You're not getting the password, so you're gonna have to
-
sit here.
-
You're not.
-
Listen, I look like Super Mario, but you can't play Super Mario.
-
You gotta be here in service.
-
Cause the word of God's good for the 2 year old and for the 20
-
year old and for the 90 year old.
-
And we all need the word of God.
-
So as.
-
As my mama told me in church, you better sit up and act like you're
-
paying attention.
-
You're not.
-
There is no WI FI in here tonight.
-
And the church said, Amen.
-
All right.
-
The title of this message is the King of the Jews.
-
The King of the Jews.
-
You know, the devil comes to steal.
-
Come on, help me, saints.
-
To steal, to kill and destroy.
-
That's John, chapter 1010.
-
However, Jesus said those words because afterwards he reminded
-
us.
-
But I came.
-
Come on, finish it with me.
-
That you made have life and life more abundantly.
-
I don't care what's happening in Mayor Mondani's office in New
-
York City, you can celebrate Ramadan, but we're celebrating Easter.
-
We're going to have our day too.
-
The devil came to kill, steal and destroy.
-
But Jesus came that we may have life and life more abundantly.
-
I don't care what the diagnos looks like.
-
Come on.
-
There's a Lazarus.
-
That God will take stage four cancer and turn it around for his
-
glory.
-
I don't care what it looks like.
-
Come on.
-
And so when we think about kill and destroy, the crucifixion
-
happened because this was a battle for power and for authority.
-
And quite frankly, they did not want to receive Jesus Christ
-
as the authority of over their life.
-
They didn't like the idea of him being in charge of their life.
-
He didn't like the idea.
-
They didn't like the idea of him ruling over them.
-
And then, much like the story of Joseph in the 37th chapter of
-
the book of Genesis, you know his jealous brothers.
-
I know none of you on Long island have jealous family members.
-
This is only a biblical problem.
-
I know nobody watching in Indiana right now has jealous family
-
members, but Joseph had jealous brothers.
-
That there's this murderous spirit behind the jealousy that caused
-
them to concoct a plan to throw him into a well.
-
You know, just like in Genesis chapter four, you have Cain and Abel
-
who does not want to receive the fact that because of the purity
-
of heart of his brother.
-
Think about what I'm saying.
-
That his brother offered something before the Lord that was
-
pleasing, and the Lord accepted his sacrifice and his offering,
-
but not Cain's.
-
I mean, think about what I'm saying.
-
It's much like the children of Israel who celebrate Moses when they're
-
being delivered from slavery, but they're complaining when they
-
continue to get that same meal of manna in Exodus chapter 16, verse
Exodus 16 chapter mention
-
verses 2 and 3.
-
You know, isn't it funny how people flip the script on you?
-
Can I just speak ghetto for a little while?
-
I know I gave you a lot of scriptures right now.
-
Can I preach from the streets?
-
There's some people that love you because they know that payday
-
is on Friday.
-
And come on, somebody, they don't seem to want to hang out with
-
you on Thursday.
-
Matter of fact, there's some people that have addictions that
-
are your best friend when your addiction helps subsidize and their
-
addiction.
-
You know what I'm trying to say?
-
There's some people that will turn up with you, but they won't
-
be with you when you're down and out.
-
There's some people that'll show up on the mountaintop, but they're
-
nowhere to be found on the valley.
-
Come on.
-
There's some people that'll call you when.
-
They've got a problem, but don't call.
-
Them when you got one because they are too busy to pick up the
-
phone.
-
Does anybody know what I'm talking about?
-
Jesus was surrounded by people who wanted a healing but didn't want
-
the healer.
-
Jesus was surrounded by people that they wanted.
-
Deliverance cast a demon out of me, but they don't want the deliverer.
-
There's a lot of people that they want your hand, but they don't
-
want your face.
-
Am I talking to anybody right now?
-
And behind that spirit of jealousy is actually a spirit of
-
murder.
-
And we know that the evil one comes but to kill, to steal and destroy.
-
And so we battle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities
-
and powers and rulers in high places.
-
Which is why we pray for our friend Mom Donnie, that he's going
-
to convert from Islam to Christianity and he's going to participate
-
in the revival that he can try to stop, but it's going to happen
-
anyways out here.
-
I mean, you might as well bend your knee on this side, because every
-
knee will bow on the other side.
-
You might as well choose to join us now, because everybody's
-
going to join us in worship later.
-
Come on.
-
And so when we look at this Palm Sunday, we just celebrated together.
-
Many of you, tens of thousands of people tuned in for the message.
-
You know, these people were celebrating Jesus, but when they
-
realized that he wasn't going to be the king that they desired,
-
when it was going to be not a political king, but a spiritual kingdom,
-
that same spirit, that murderous spirit behind Joseph's
-
brothers, behind Cain, behind the complaining children of Israel,
-
begin to rise up to kill Jesus.
-
And the lesson is that we can kill the very thing that we're supposed
-
to become.
-
Did y' all catch that?
-
There's something about all of us.
-
I want to make this sobering is that there's a tendency, if we're
-
not careful, that we end up killing the very thing that we're
-
supposed to become.
-
The lesson that we can learn here is that we should become like
-
Joseph.
-
The brother should have heard Joseph prophetic dream and went to
-
God and said, God, can you give me a dream, too?
-
And instead of being inspired by his dream, that they weren't inspired
-
to become more righteous, they were inspired to jealousy, to become
-
murderous.
-
We end up killing the very thing that we're supposed to become.
-
Are y' all following me and become like Abel, who gave God a
-
legitimate.
-
Tithe without a preacher preaching the tithe.
-
The thing that came to him was, I should give God what's first.
-
I should give God what's best.
-
And he gave this thing.
-
And so what happened is Cain should.
-
Have became like Abel.
-
But we kill what we're supposed to become.
-
Become like Moses.
-
Believe that God can use you with a speech impediment, with fear
-
gripping your heart, but still obedient to the call.
-
But we want to turn on Moses and we want to kill the very thing
-
that we're supposed to become.
-
And so these men are examples, but they come, they become martyrs.
-
Think about Jesus, become like Jesus.
-
100% submitted to God, 100% serving, giving, forgiving.
-
But we have the tendency to kill the very thing that we're supposed
-
to become.
-
So the verdict above Christ head, it reads this phrase in multiple
-
languages we see in Mark, chapter 15, verse 9.
-
Pilate says, Will I release to you the King of the Jews?
-
He uses that phrase, the Bible says in the book of Mark.
-
Because he knew that the chief priests had delivered Jesus over
-
for envy.
-
Can everybody say envy?
-
This is the root of what we're dealing with on Good Friday.
-
And even Pilate began to discern the that they really turned
-
Jesus, an innocent man, over because of their envy.
-
Instead of coming to Jesus to say, I see the way that you preach
-
in power.
-
I see the way that you lay your hands on the sick and they recover.
-
I've heard that you raised a man named Lazarus from the dead.
-
I know that demons obey you.
-
I've heard the stories.
-
Can I become your disciple?
-
They end up becoming his murderer.
-
This is the thing that grips our hearts when we give way to envy.
-
It says this in verse 10.
-
For he knew that the chief priests had delivered Jesus for this
-
reason.
-
And so to understand Good Friday, you have to understand three
-
things.
-
Number one, the war over true identity.
-
You have to understand the war over true identity.
-
Jesus was mockingly called the King of the Jews.
-
But how many of you know that not only is he the King of the Jews,
-
but he's the King of the Americans?
-
And the King of the Canadians and the King of the Europeans.
-
He's the King of all kings.
-
And so it was a true statement.
-
How many of you know the devil will mock you with only half of the
-
story?
-
Come on, somebody.
-
Mike Signorelli was a drunk.
-
Oh yes, that's true.
-
But finish your sentence, devil.
-
I didn't stay drunk.
-
The Lord sobered me up, delivered me from addiction.
-
And I raised up an army of former addicts to break the chains
-
of darkness.
-
And my testimony became their testimony, too.
-
Finish your sins.
-
I'm not just the king of the Jews.
-
I'm the king of all kings is what Jesus knew.
-
Come on, somebody.
-
But the devil will mock you with half of the story.
-
You're divorced.
-
Well, finish the story, devil.
-
My husband is going through a process right now, and I'm about
-
to be remarried.
-
And God's going to restore me and he's going to pray over me and
-
love my kids like they're his own.
-
And I see a future and a hope.
-
Come on, finish your sentence.
-
Is there anybody here who believes in divine, supernatural
-
healing in the physical body?
-
Come on.
-
When they said to him Lazarus was.
-
Dead, he said, he's just taking a nap.
-
He's sleeping.
-
Because Jesus said, I'm gonna define it the right way.
-
You call it death, I call it a nap.
-
See, there's something about how God will redefine your situation.
-
But this declaration is made over the crucifixion.
-
The king of the Jews.
-
You've got to understand the war over true identity number two.
-
That war produces envy.
-
People will hate you like you're an author.
-
Because the devil knows that you're going to become an author.
-
And he will fight you for what you're going to become before you
-
become it.
-
It's easier to crush a shell than it is to let that thing hatch
-
and grow full size.
-
Let me put it another way.
-
It's easier to crush a seed than to chop down a tree.
-
And some of you could never find.
-
Out why they fought you before you.
-
Ever did anything significant.
-
It's because sometimes the demons inside of.
-
Them know how to read a seed.
-
I wish you heard me in Indiana.
-
He knows how to tell what you're become.
-
And he'll try to crush a seed so he doesn't have to chop down a
-
tree.
-
Some of you are like, why is the devil attacking my finances?
-
Because he knows that you're going to be the lender and not the
-
borrower.
-
He knows that you're a river and not the reservoir.
-
He knows that you're actually generous.
-
And God gives seed to the sower.
-
He's fighting for what you will become.
-
The devil fought a baby called Jesus knowing that that baby wouldn't
-
stay a baby, but would grow into a man that terrorizes his kingdom.
-
How many of you know that spirit of Herod is still trying to
-
kill our babies in America?
-
Because that demon knows what a baby will become.
-
Oh, I'm preaching today.
-
I'm preaching.
-
This the last sermon you ever hear.
-
It's going to be a good one.
-
Let me tell you.
-
This is same ancient demons in new days.
-
Do y' all hear me?
-
And number three, envy turns into the ultimate plan of Satan to
-
steal, to kill and destroy.
-
And the sign over Christ had said, the King of the Jews.
-
And it's true.
-
Joseph's dream.
-
It was true.
-
Somebody say it.
-
It was true.
-
Think about what I'm saying.
-
Abel's generous offering.
-
It's true.
-
It's acceptable before God.
-
Moses, deliverance of the people out of slavery in Egypt is
-
true.
-
But their lives are threatened by people who deceive themselves
-
about who they really are and what they really do.
-
Let me just break it down like this, because this is kind of like
-
the pivot point.
-
When you look at Luke chapter 23, verse 39, Jesus experiencing
-
the Roman form of execution called crucifixion.
-
He's hanging between two common criminals.
-
And there's this dialogue that begins to happen on the crosses.
-
And what happens In Luke chapter 23, verse 39 is the one criminal
-
looks at him and says, if thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
-
What I never noticed before is that that request sounds eerily similar
-
to Palm Sunday, Jesus, deliver us.
-
Now they're waving their palms around.
-
So as long as we get something from Jesus, we will give something
-
to Jesus.
-
So the man that's hanging on the.
-
Cross next to Jesus says, if you are the Christ, save yourself
-
and save us.
-
So his acceptance of Jesus as the.
-
Messiah is contingent upon what Jesus does with for him.
-
But how many of you know that's not real worship?
-
Don't you remember the story of Job?
-
Everything's taken from Job, and God allowed Satan to do it because
-
he said, I know Job, and you can take everything from him and
-
he will not curse me.
-
Everything gets stripped away from Job.
-
And he famously says, the Lord gives, the Lord takes away.
-
But blessed be the name of the Lord, though he slay me.
-
Yet while I praise him, my worship is not because of what he
-
he's done for me.
-
My worship is because who he is.
-
I am submitted to him, whether I like him, whether I agree with
-
what he does.
-
My submission is not contingent on what he gives me, what
-
he does for me.
-
It is simply because he is God and I am not.
-
And there are some people that need a reminder that you are not
-
God.
-
Come on, y' all hear what I'm saying.
-
Some people need a reminder you are not God.
-
And what happens is, Lord, I don't understand your ways.
-
I wouldn't have done it that way.
-
I wouldn't have put myself in that family.
-
I wouldn't have put myself in that city.
-
I wouldn't have put myself in that year.
-
I wouldn't have done that.
-
But God shouts back, get down on your knees and worship me.
-
Because my ways are higher than your ways.
-
My thoughts are higher than your thoughts.
-
And.
-
And, son, Daughter, I'll give you wisdom.
-
And only when you look backwards will you know that I am
-
good.
-
Only when you look backwards will you know that I took what the
-
enemy meant for harm and worked it all together for your good.
-
You can't see it now, but one day you're going to look back and
-
you're going to know that I'm better than you could ever imagine.
-
Somebody praise him for five seconds, if you know what I'm talking
-
about.
-
Hallelujah.
-
I can hear you all the way from Brooklyn.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Sounds just like that Palm Sunday crowd.
-
Praise him one day, crucify them the next day.
-
I'm telling you, I ain't going to be one of those Christians.
-
I don't know about you, but I made my mind up.
-
I am submitted to him, and I'm.
-
Come on, anybody with me.
-
I'm walking that narrow road, you know?
-
Verse 40, it says.
-
But the other answered.
-
Now watch.
-
It's a dialogue between thieves.
-
Think about what I'm saying.
-
The other one hears what he's saying and he goes, wait a second.
-
Hey, we deserve this.
-
We're supposed to be here.
-
We got caught.
-
We're evil men.
-
This is what he's saying.
-
But this man next to us, he's not like us.
-
He's innocent.
-
We deserve this.
-
But he didn't deserve this.
-
This is the dialogue happening on the cross.
-
And then the man looks to Jesus and he says, son of God, when
-
this is all over, will you remember me?
-
Jesus looks at him dying on the cross and he says, I'm gonna
-
make you a promise.
-
You ever realize that in order to speak to him he had to turn his
-
face from him?
-
And all of a sudden he says, tonight you'll be with me in paradise.
-
The man that couldn't have taken himself off of the cross to
-
give him the offering.
-
The man who couldn't have taken himself off the cross to serve
-
at his local church.
-
He could offer Jesus nothing.
-
But the only thing that Jesus requires is a confession that I am
-
a sinner and you are the Savior.
-
Remember me.
-
This is the gospel.
-
This is the message of the entire Bible is that you are infinitely
-
more evil than you could ever comprehend, but that he loves you
-
more than you will ever understand.
-
And then what he'll do by His Spirit is he will regenerate your
-
dead spirit and you will come alive through Christ.
-
And if you share in death, you will share in resurrection.
-
And Easter will not just be a celebration of what happened to Jesus.
-
It'll be a celebration of what happens to everybody who is in Christ
-
Jesus.
-
And we will be joined together with our fathers and our grandparents
-
and our.
-
Cousins and everybody who confess, I am a sinner, but you are
-
the Savior.
-
Wash me with that blood.
-
The resurrection is not just what happened to Jesus.
-
It happened to him first.
-
But then all of us will rise one day with him again and we will
-
celebrate that not only is he risen, but I'm risen with him.
-
Is anybody excited about that glorious day that's been promised
-
to you?
-
People miss this, but the thief on the cross, he did something
-
that many people don't do.
-
He owned his own sin.
-
He refused to be self deceived.
-
He didn't try to justify himself.
-
Jealousy and envy was refused.
-
See, there's something about this man.
-
I think he's much more important than we recognize.
-
And while everyone was killing the very person that they should
-
become, he looks towards Jesus and says, remember me.
-
I mean, Good Friday is when we search for our own inside of our
-
own hearts, for our own envy and jealousy.
-
Good Friday is when we stopped justifying and we started knitting
-
something so powerful about that.
-
I'd rather be with an honest sinner than a lying preacher.
-
And Jesus would too.
-
He was called a friend of sinners.
-
He probably found that they were humble than the Pharisees and
-
Sadducees who thought they were right but were self deceived.
-
And we know this is true because they killed what they should
-
have become.
-
This is what we do.
-
And Good Friday is when we become like Jesus.
-
And instead of attempting to crucify him over and over and over
-
again, when we go back to the sin that we explain but never exterminate.
-
When we read the Bible, Good Friday causes us to ask the question.
-
I want everybody to pause for a moment, close your eyes while I
-
say this, to remove all distractions across every location
-
and everybody watching at home as you read the Bible.
-
What if for a moment on Good Friday, you assume that you're not
-
Joseph, you're one of Joseph's jealous brothers?
-
Maybe you're not able.
-
Maybe you're Cain getting away on the bare minimums but the Lord
-
discerns your heart.
-
Maybe you're not Moses.
-
Maybe you're murmuring like the children of Israel.
-
And maybe you're not Jesus yet.
-
You're the thief who's already been caught.
-
But I want you to open your eyes again.
-
I got an encouraging message for you on Good Friday.
-
Just like that thief hanging next to Jesus, you're not dead yet.
-
There's still time.
-
I don't know who I'm talking to.
-
Maybe your family forced you to come to this service.
-
Maybe you are flipping through YouTube and you just thought that
-
you randomly turned this message on.
-
No.
-
God sovereignly and divinely brought you to this message so that
-
you would hear this moment right now.
-
There's still time.
-
Just like that man who was hanging next to Jesus.
-
He was actively being crucified, but he wasn't dead yet.
-
And I don't know who I need to tell this to right now, but God has
-
brought you to this moment of decision because you are not dead
-
yet.
-
There's still a decision to.
-
To.
-
To be made.
-
And.
-
And what you can do is you can actually apologize to Joseph instead
-
of throwing him in a well.
-
You.
-
You can prepare a.
-
A true offering before the Lord, like Abel did instead of killing
-
him.
-
And you can lift up Moses weary.
-
Hands instead of complaining to him.
-
And you can confess that you're a sinner to Jesus Christ.
-
And you can say, jesus, I don't even know why I'm in this church.
-
I don't even know how I didn't burst into flames the second I walked
-
in Jesus.
-
I don't even know why I'm watching this on YouTube.
-
I don't even know that I can actually be a Christian.
-
But remember me, because in that moment, the verdict of your
-
life will change as the judge come on.
-
And the oh, I'm talking to somebody.
-
And the lawyer named Jesus argues you a different case and says,
-
I would have paid in full every single sin, every single failure.
-
I provisioned it.
-
And I say, innocent, not guilty.
-
Not because of what you've done.
-
Because when I was hanging on the cross, I said, it is finished.
-
That's who I came here for.
-
Today, the verdict of your life changes in the assignment of
-
the evil one.
-
To kill, to steal and to destroy is broken.
-
And Jesus said, I came to give you life and life more abundantly.
-
That means life without depression, life without anxiety,
-
life without addiction, life without lust and perversion.
-
Life and life more abundantly.
-
Not when you get to heaven, but because he's bringing heaven
-
down here into to earth.
-
He said, on earth as it is in heaven, some of you, your home feels
-
like hell, but heaven can come into your home.
-
Right now, I'm talking to somebody watching from the hospital
-
right now.
-
The Holy Spirit is quickening me.
-
You're laying in that hospital bed and you're saying, lord, what
-
can you do?
-
And I send the word through that screen right now.
-
Just say, rise up in full health in Jesus name.
-
And I pray for every sick person watching right now, saying,
-
God, are you done with me?
-
If you're not dead, you're not done.
-
Get up.
-
He's healing somebody right now.
-
Hallelujah.
-
The verdict will change when you give him your life.
-
Jesus replied with a promise.
-
And this reveals why it's called Good Friday.
-
With the King of the Jews hanging over his head, he says this,
-
tonight you'll be with me in paradise.
-
He was the king of the Jews.
-
He is the king of the Jews.
-
He's the king of all kings.
-
He's the king over cancer.
-
Come on.
-
I'm talking to somebody.
-
He's the king over mental illness.
-
He's the king.
-
Come on.
-
He's the king of all kings.
-
And so what we're gonna do right now in this moment is stand
-
to our feet across every location and every home.
-
If you don't have communion at home, I dare you to go get some crackers
-
or some bread.
-
He said, for as often as you do this, do this in remembrance of
-
me.
-
What does that mean?
-
It means that we can do this now.
-
If you have some bread, if you have some juice at home, I want you
-
to get these elements ready.
-
And I want to bring us to the conclusion of this time together.
-
The power of God flows through communion.
-
Communion is a reminder that when I break bread with Judas, when
-
the very one that's going to betray me is in the room, he can
-
kiss me, and I kiss him back.
-
Matter of fact, the last words that Jesus said to Judas was friend.
-
He called him friend because he said, it's not personal.
-
I know my plan.
-
I feel confident in Jesus that even when people betray us, we can
-
say it's not personal.
-
He's just mad at the God on the inside of me.
-
Come on.
-
I think probably you would like me, but the God on the inside
-
of me is a offensive to your carnal flesh, and it's not personal.
-
Jesus calls Judas friend the very last time they interact.
-
And I don't think Jesus ever lied.
-
I think Jesus was saying, I'm a friend to you even if you're not
-
a friend.
-
To me.
-
How many of you know that when you've got Jesus on the inside of
-
you, the world can use you, they can abuse you, they can reject
-
you.
-
And you say, well, I'll still be a friend to you because the only
-
thing you can't do is say, stop me because you never started
-
me.
-
The only thing you can't do is cancel me because you never called
-
me.
-
Jesus was confident that he was going all away.
-
He was going to be seated at the right hand of the Father.
-
And some of you need to grow in confidence that they can talk
-
about.
-
You, mistreat you, abandon you.
-
They can do everything but stop you.
-
And communion is a reminder that I can break my.
-
But is this what Jesus said?
-
I'm going to break my body.
-
You can eat my flesh, you can drink my blood.
-
And the only thing that's going to happen to me is I'm going
-
to rise and be seated at the right hand of the Father.
-
See, some of them thought that they.
-
Were taking advantage of you.
-
No, you're becoming more like Jesus.
-
You can't take advantage of me.
-
Take what you need, but I'm headed to higher heights and deeper
-
depths in him.
-
Can somebody say amen?
-
So Good Friday is a promise to.
-
Us that we don't stay down.
-
It's a promise to us that we.
-
Might be hanging with sinners, but we're going to be seated with
-
the Father.
-
It's a promise to us that the way you see me now ain't gonna be
-
the way I always look.
-
Check back in with me, Jesus said, because in a couple days, you're
-
not even going to be able to recognize me.
-
Matter of fact, I'm gonna have a glow up.
-
All the way up from hell, I'm gonna have a glow up.
-
They didn't even recognize Jesus walking in their midst because
-
he had a glorified body.
-
Some of you need to look in the mirror and say, jesus, take me
-
from glory to glory.
-
Some of you been through hell.
-
Now it's time to go all the.
-
Way up to heaven.
-
It's time to go to your next level.
-
There's gonna be some people that have to do a double take.
-
I thought I knew them.
-
Oh, yeah, you knew this, that version.
-
Of me, but I don't stay that version.
-
I was just going through that.
-
That was not my final destination.
-
This is the story of Good Friday.
-
We are journeying with Jesus.
-
And if Jesus gets glorified, we get glorified.
-
If Jesus.
-
Come on, somebody.
-
It's not our final destination.
-
I'm Just passing through.
-
Only reason I'm going down to hell.
-
Jesus said, I'm preaching to the prisoners and I'm gonna release
-
them from chains.
-
And.
-
And he goes into the lowest part of hell and sets all the captives
-
free.
-
And I don't know if you know this, if you read your Bibles.
-
When Jesus was resurrected, so were the saints with him.
-
Oh, I'm talking to somebody.
-
Is there anybody who believes that this is not your final destination?
-
They saw you at your lowest.
-
And you said, God, why didn't you remove them from my life?
-
He said, because I needed them to stand, stay, so they can watch
-
you win.
-
I needed them to stay.
-
They saw you at your lowest.
-
I needed them to stay to watch you win.
-
You win not for your glory, but to prove that he's God, to prove
-
that he's a way maker, to prove that he's a healer, to prove
-
that he's a provider.
-
Not for my sake.
-
I'm talking to a single mother right now.
-
I'm talking to a working man that decided to live for Jesus.
-
I'm telling you, when you make a decision for Jesus, you made a
-
decision for your own resurrection, for his glory.
-
So.
-
Oh, I feel the power of God on this one.
-
So I want you to take your cup, I want you to get it ready.
-
You got me sweating up here.
-
You guys wore me out.
-
But let me tell you, I feel we're on the precipice of a very
-
historic event together.
-
Where's Bella?
-
What year was it when they would strategically light up the
-
skyline in Manhattan?
-
1956.
-
It is now 2026.
-
And they can put the most heinous, vile depictions of monsters
-
in the skyline of New York City, where, you know, where we live.
-
We have a full view of New York City skyline.
-
And I've been appalled to see them light up the windows of the
-
buildings to create the face, the very edifice of a demon.
-
But they won't put the cross.
-
It's not anti Muhammad, it's not anti Buddha, it's not anti Krishna.
-
It's Antichrist is the spirit.
-
They were antichrist 2000 years ago.
-
That's why they killed him.
-
But see, what happened is when you killed Christ, you mobilized
-
an army because Peter went from forsaking Jesus to becoming
-
one of the greatest apostles.
-
And this movement, it started with 12, grows to millions.
-
Millions become billions.
-
And it may sometimes feel like all the odds are against us.
-
I know it's hard in Miami, Florida.
-
I know it's hard on Long Island.
-
I know it's Hard in Chicagoland.
-
And sometimes it could feel so isolating.
-
I look at the young people, generation Z Gen Alpha to feel like
-
the odds are against us.
-
You go to school, you tell your your friends that you're a Christian.
-
What are your Jesus freak, you know, it's Antichrist.
-
But how many of you know the tide is turning?
-
How many of you feel something in the atmosphere?
-
Because see, whenever the majority becomes a minority, whenever
-
things become impossible, I mean, you got to walk up to the Red
-
Sea and he doesn't split it before you get there because that
-
wouldn't require faith.
-
He waits until it's impossible.
-
This is the pattern over and over and over again.
-
Joseph gets a dream, but the dream seems impossible.
-
How am I going to fulfill this dream?
-
From prison I had a prisoner send me a check for A$47 because
-
he watches my sermons from prison and said, I want to give God
-
the best offering I can give him because I didn't do it while
-
I was on the outside.
-
I told him, when you get out, you come to V1 church and give Papa
-
Sigs a hug because God's got a hope and a future for you.
-
But when it seems impossible, think about it.
-
The Lord says, for with God, come on.
-
Some of you know it.
-
For with God, come on.
-
There's some of you know, some of you know it.
-
Say it louder with your own voice.
-
For with God all things are possible.
-
All things.
-
So right now we have to believe that we are the revival generation.
-
We have to believe that we are the ones that are actually going
-
to turn the tide.
-
We have to believe that Maranatha Christ come quickly.
-
But he's returning for a bride without spot or blemish.
-
He's working out the wrinkles.
-
That's what this is.
-
This.
-
So take a look at this wafer if you're at home, take a look at
-
the bread, the crackers, the juice.
-
This is his body, this is his blood.
-
But let me explain what covenant is as we prepare to pray.
-
Covenant is you lay down your life, so I'm gonna lay mine down.
-
Covenant is you led by example and I will follow you.
-
Instead of killing what I should become.
-
Watch this.
-
I am the living sacrifice and I will die so that I can become like
-
you.
-
Do you see the flip God?
-
I'll die.
-
I'll die to my self will.
-
I'll die to my own plans.
-
I'll die to my own thoughts and Lord.
-
See, this is J. Joseph got a dream.
-
But that dream was only possible when he dies.
-
Moses got a dream.
-
It didn't even happen at 40 years.
-
But he's got to die.
-
Come on.
-
There's something about, you've got to go through that process.
-
And when we look at these elements, what we're accepting is,
-
lord, I'm dying.
-
That's what happened to Job.
-
Job said, this didn't work out like I planned.
-
I had a different plan.
-
I can't control it though.
-
But the Holy Spirit gives you self control.
-
And he says, but the one thing I can control is what comes out of
-
me.
-
And it won't be curses, it won't be complaining.
-
It's going to be worship.
-
So some of you, you can't control your spouse, you couldn't
-
control control your kids, you can't control your city.
-
But you say holy Spirit, I have one option left.
-
What comes out of me now will be worshiped.
-
It will be surrender.
-
It will be sacrifice.
-
I will choose.
-
Only thing I can do.
-
Come on.
-
I will choose to worship you.
-
The thief hanging on the cross said, it would appear if I have no
-
options.
-
But I have one option left.
-
I can worship Jesus.
-
Remember me.
-
That was the only thing that mattered in that moment.
-
So if you're watching, if you're here in the room and you want
-
to surrender your life to Jesus, I want you to say this with
-
me.
-
Paul said, don't even take communion without being in right
-
standings with God, lest you turn this into poison.
-
Why?
-
How does it become poison?
-
Because it just becomes religion.
-
It becomes another dead tradition.
-
No.
-
We have revelation.
-
We know that his presence is here with us in this moment.
-
And we want to become like him.
-
So I want you to say this with me across all of our seven campuses
-
and everybody at home.
-
If you want to step into that full surrender, full obedience, say
-
this with me.
-
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the cross.
-
Remember me.
-
I believe that you are the King of all kings.
-
I believe you are the Savior.
-
I believe you are Messiah.
-
Forgive me of all my sins.
-
Sins.
-
Wash me with your blood.
-
Father, I thank you.
-
When you said, it is finished.
-
It is finished.
-
I can't earn it.
-
I'll never deserve it, but I receive it.
-
Full adoption.
-
I am your child.
-
Your body was broken so that my body can be made whole.
-
Your blood was poured out so that I would be free.
-
And whom the sun sets free is free indeed.
-
I am free.
-
I am free.
-
I am free.
-
Jesus name.
-
So I want you to take this one wafer that represents his body.
-
Before you take it, I want you to understand that this is not a
-
piece of his body.
-
It is his whole body.
-
If your eyes need to be healed, you will receive his body
-
for the healing of your eyes.
-
If your back needs to be healed, if your body needs to be
-
healed.
-
I'm telling you, we have had hundreds of people write our church,
-
write our ministry and say, I did communion with V1 church and
-
my body was healed.
-
I'm believing that we are going to experience supernatural
-
healings right now.
-
That's what this represents.
-
When you receive his body, think about the genetic code.
-
He was 100% God and 100% man.
-
So what happens is when you receive his body, you receive the
-
genetic code.
-
Of God to reward wire the fallen.
-
Nature of your flesh.
-
And I believe you can be made whole right now in this moment.
-
So before we take this, let me pray for physical healings according
-
to your faith.
-
You've been made whole, Father, from the top of their head
-
down to the very soles of their feet, somebody's being healed
-
in their tongue.
-
I don't know why.
-
There's a condition in the tongue, somebody's tongue.
-
There's specifically a condition that's being healed right
-
now in Jesus mighty name.
-
I pray right now for someone's shoulder that it would be healed
-
right now.
-
The cartilage, the tendons, the bone, that it would be healed
-
right now in Jesus mighty name.
-
I. I pray for spines right now in the name of Jesus.
-
Degenerated discs be made whole right now under the sound of
-
my voice, in Jesus name.
-
Somebody has a foot injury that is not healed.
-
And God is getting ready to heal your foot right now.
-
And you're gonna walk home healed in Jesus name.
-
And somebody at a physical campus, I see your foot is gonna
-
be healed right now in Jesus name.
-
Wow,.
-
Jesus, let's take this bread, this body together.
-
As we get ready to take the cup.
-
The Holy Spirit wants me to tell somebody you have forgiven your
-
enemies and I'm well pleased with you, but you still not have
-
forgiven yourself.
-
And as you get ready to receive, forgive yourself, daughter.
-
As far as the east is from the west, I have separated your sin and
-
I remember it no more.
-
Forgive yourself, son.
-
I'm talking, I'm speaking on behalf of God right now.
-
This is called the prophetic.
-
And I hear the Lord saying, you've forgiven everybody but yourself.
-
Forgive yourself, son, for I have forgiven you.
-
As a matter of fact, there's somebody struggling with alcoholism.
-
And as you take communion, the Lord says, that'll be the last time
-
that you struggle with alcoholism.
-
If you take communion, the blood is getting ready to go on the
-
inside.
-
And heal that trauma from your past and heal all that pain.
-
See, what I love about communion is it's the external going
-
internal.
-
It's getting on the inside of you.
-
And there's somebody that's about to be free.
-
I have to be obedient.
-
There's somebody watching right now that has an opiate addiction.
-
I don't know if it's pills or if it's heroin.
-
I don't know what it is.
-
But I heard the Lord saying, as you're taking communion, he is
-
going to heal you and restore your body.
-
But I hear him giving you a warning.
-
He's saying, go and sin no more.
-
It's time to seek out help.
-
It's time to get that filth out of your body.
-
It's time to.
-
You've been saying, God, I want a new beginning.
-
He's saying, child, I'm opening up the door, but go and sin
-
no more.
-
The Lord's given somebody a strong warning right now.
-
Do not go back.
-
See, what this means is no turning back.
-
When Jes.
-
On Good Friday, Jesus was saying, no turning back.
-
Can somebody say that with me?
-
No.
-
No turning back.
-
Before we take this cup, I got one more warning.
-
Warning.
-
I'm talking to probably many people, but there's specifically
-
somebody out of the love of the Father, and this is an unmarried
-
person.
-
The.
-
The Lord warns you about a relationship.
-
And it's been on again, off again, on again, off again.
-
And you said, lord, give me a sign.
-
I feel the power of God.
-
The Lord said, here it is.
-
Do not go back to vomit.
-
The Bible says a dog will go back to vomit.
-
Why?
-
Because a dog has such a keen sense of smell that it will smell
-
the undigested good bits of food inside the vomit.
-
And you've been going back to a vomit relationship because of some
-
good in the midst of a lot of abuse.
-
And the Lord said, don't go back.
-
This blood means no turning back.
-
No turning back.
-
You're going to learn how to be alone, but not lonely.
-
Because he'll never leave you nor forsake you.
-
He'll be with you even until the end of the age.
-
Come on.
-
That's what this blood represents.
-
I'm talking to somebody.
-
No more fear over finances.
-
No more.
-
Come on.
-
No more fake friends.
-
No more relapsing.
-
This means no turning back.
-
We're not gonna celebrate Good Friday and not become like Christ.
-
When he said, it's finished, he meant there's no turning back.
-
Who am I talking to?
-
By the spirit right now.
-
Are you ready Come on, let's take this cup.
-
What I want to do, team, can you lead them in worship?
-
What I want you to do right now.
-
Come on, help me.
-
Is across every location.
-
I want you to think about this sermon, Think about this message.
-
Think about what God prophesied.
-
Think about.
-
And I want you to just begin to take a little bit of time.
-
No distraction.
-
Come on.
-
No.
-
No Wi fi.
-
No wi fi tonight.
-
And I want you to just say, lord, speak to me.
-
I want you to pray.
-
Pray for Times Square.
-
I want you to pray that as.
-
We lift it up.
-
Come on, Day Star.
-
We've done all of our tests and they were approved.
-
And we're going to simulcast across television all around the
-
world this Sunday.
-
I want you to pray for every person that's going to watch from
-
Time Square.
-
Come on, now's the time.
-
Let's.
-
Let's intercede.
-
Father, I thank you for what you are going to do this Sunday in
-
Times Square.
-
Father, I thank you for families that will be restored, for
-
children that will come back, that tens of thousands of people
-
around the world will be saved.
-
Lord, I thank you for what you did.
-
Come on, let's sing it.
-
What can wash away this.
