  1. In the name of the glorious Trinity, Father and Son and Holy

  2. Spirit, forever Amen. Glory be to the everlasting

  3. mercies which sent you to us, O Christ, the light of the world

  4. and the life of all. Give us wisdom by.

  5. Your law and enlighten our impulses by your knowledge,

  6. sanctify our souls by Your truth, and grant that we may be

  7. obedient to your words and may fulfil your commandments at

  8. every hour. O you who?

  9. Enlightens the rational with the knowledge of Your greatness.

  10. Do enlight, O my Lord, our thoughts, that we may meditate

  11. upon Your holy and divine Scriptures at all times, O Lord

  12. of all, Father and Son and Holy Spirit.

  13. Forever. From Acts chapter 16, verse 19.

    Acts 16:19

  14. And when her masters saw that the hope of their business was

  15. lost, with her power, they seized Paul and Selas, and beat

  16. them, and brought them to the marketplace.

  17. And they brought them before the soldiers and the city

  18. magistrates, and said These men are Jews, and they create

  19. disturbances in our city, and they preach customs to us which

  20. are not lawful for us to accept and practice, because we are

  21. Romans. And a large crowd gathered

  22. against them. Then the soldiers stripped them

  23. of their clothes and gave command to scorch them.

  24. And when they had flocked them severely, they cast them into

  25. prison, charging the jailer to jailer to watch.

  26. Them carefully. He having received the charge,

  27. brought them in and put them into the inner Chamber of the

  28. prison and fastened their feet in stocks or bondage.

  29. Let's let's stop there. Now we know that the the story

  30. goes of the young lady who's crying out and maybe not through

  31. the demon. The demon didn't say anything

  32. wrong. The demon was saying these are

  33. men of God. They are preaching the way of

  34. salvation. That is true.

  35. But you know, we learned that we do not heed to demons.

  36. We don't. And and we, we brought some

  37. examples. You don't entrust your property

  38. to a thief. You don't believe a murderer

  39. talking about the preciousness of life because the person is a

  40. murderer unless the merchant is repented and, and what have you.

  41. So now we see that she wasn't alone.

  42. She was actually working. She was making money.

  43. She would foretell the future, right?

  44. And she was making money and the through the demon making money.

  45. This is a business. So we see that her master's or

  46. her parents maybe now that the demon was exposed and expelled,

  47. go to any length to take revenge.

  48. You know, today it's the same thing happens when exposed.

  49. We put up a fight regardless of how far it goes.

  50. That's the norm today. When you are confronted with

  51. facts, exposed, debunked factually, when you're hurt

  52. financially with truth, fact and at times common sense, you go to

  53. another level, right? We don't fear man, we don't fear

  54. God. We don't respect God and we

  55. don't respect man. So we go to any level, but when

  56. the the key to it is to fear the Lord, because when you fear the

  57. Lord and you have been exposed, you have been corrected, you

  58. have been rebuked, then you will take it on board.

  59. You'll either examine it or accept it.

  60. But when there's No Fear of God and you have been corrected, you

  61. go to another level because then there's no shame.

  62. Because there's No Fear. No one will have shame unless

  63. they have the fear of the Lord. When we are convicted because of

  64. our evil, our vile, our wickedness, or just wrongness,

  65. if there's such a word, we resort to ignorance, sometimes

  66. stubbornness and arrogance. But that doesn't help, and

  67. indeed, truly it doesn't help when we are stubborn after being

  68. exposed, after being corrected, debunked factually, evidently,

  69. and we go to another level to take revenge through arrogance,

  70. ignorance, stubbornness. It doesn't help us, Beloved,

  71. that's actually quite foolish, quite foolish.

  72. You know, maybe during these episodes, you've heard something

  73. from the scriptures, you've heard a, a statement and you

  74. know, it's exposed you, your conscience has, has started to

  75. convict you. What have you done?

  76. Have you, have you switched off your radio or your, you've,

  77. you've, you know, logged off out of what is it Spotify?

  78. And that's, but that's not correct.

  79. That's not right. That's not helping you.

  80. Or have you then finished listening to the episode and

  81. then prayed that the Lord will help you examine your life and

  82. your soul and where you stand in regards to that specific point

  83. that you've heard that is convicting you, and then begin

  84. the process of repentance and and reconciliation?

  85. That's great. You know, when there is

  86. conviction of faith, Praise God. If you have the conviction,

  87. sorry. When there is a conviction of

  88. the soul, a conviction of the conscience, praise God.

  89. You're in a good place. But when there is no conviction,

  90. that's where you're in a bad place.

  91. And we need to pray that the Lord will help us heed to our

  92. conscience. It's foolish to be arrogant and

  93. ignorant when you receive good counselling.

  94. Proverbs chapter 12, verse 15. The way of the fool is beautiful

    Proverbs 12:15

  95. in his eyes. You see things right, according

  96. to your own understanding, maybe according to your greed, pride,

  97. evil, but maybe it's not that way, that way in the eye of God

  98. and in the eye of man. And he goes on to say he that

  99. listens to counsel is wise. You know, a wise man takes the

  100. counsel of many, you see, in the place of the master or her

  101. parents, maybe her masters, the masters of this divinator who

  102. told the the the future in place of this man or these people

  103. acknowledging the fact that the power of the true God in the

  104. name of Jesus Christ has overcome the demon and which who

  105. and they they obviously thought he was a God.

  106. They thought these demons were God.

  107. She's doing it by the power of God.

  108. Well, right now, at this moment, in the name of Jesus Christ,

  109. Paul and Selas have proved exposed that this is not a God.

  110. It's evil, it's demon. Now, in place of acknowledging

  111. that, in place of acknowledging the failure of the power of this

  112. idol, God working through his employee, the girl, in place of

  113. stopping and thinking what happened?

  114. How is it that in the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ, in

  115. the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ, two names,

  116. how is it that this demon has been abolished, obliterated,

  117. right? What do they do?

  118. They start to stir the pot between the Jews and the Romans,

  119. as if it wasn't enough that they had an animosity, hatred between

  120. one another, right? This is what we do.

  121. Sometimes we need to stop and think when someone tells us

  122. something. We all go through this problem.

  123. This is this is a weakness we all have.

  124. Stop and think about it. It may not seem that correct.

  125. You know, there have been times in my life, just as a testimony,

  126. that I've convinced myself that these are the facts of this

  127. matter and I've stood by them very strongly, firmly,

  128. steadfastly. Time has gone by and then you

  129. start really thinking about it in depth.

  130. That is when I've been rebuked that you know what, no, that's

  131. right. I was so focused.

  132. I was so focused on what I thought was right.

  133. I couldn't, I couldn't see, I couldn't understand, I couldn't

  134. acknowledge. I couldn't even ponder on what

  135. someone else was saying. You just say that.

  136. No, that's, that's not the way it is.

  137. But there comes a time you know they, and this is through

  138. experience. This is through living with the

  139. word of God and living with God and committing to God's God's

  140. Holy Spirit, which is the conscience to allow to, you

  141. know, rebuke you and and wake you up.

  142. So at times we don't take vengeance, just wait and

  143. acknowledge the fact. Sometimes there are facts.

  144. It's a fact. You cannot deny it.

  145. You know, you see people arguing freedom of speech, freedom of

  146. choice, freedom of dialogue. Amen to that.

  147. Praise God. And by the way, God gave that.

  148. It wasn't a government that's given us freedom.

  149. The government doesn't give you freedom.

  150. Actually, no, no, no they don't. Let's go back.

  151. Let's not go there. It's freedom.

  152. Liberty is from God. OK, We're discussing a point.

  153. We're arguing. We're we're not agreeing.

  154. That's fine. We're not agreeing, right?

  155. Be it abortion, be it homosexuality, be it same sex,

  156. be it by gender, be it financially, be it religion,

  157. politics, you know, educate, whatever it may be.

  158. Philosophy. OK, there is a difference.

  159. Let's talk now when you dialogue, you're putting your

  160. point of view and someone else is putting now when there are

  161. facts proven facts in history and then you just can't you

  162. can't go against that. Why do we then resort to

  163. swearing, throwing the F bomb and flipping the middle finger?

  164. Why? Why do we walking away and and

  165. effing this? I'm sorry, but I'm why do we do

  166. that? Why?

  167. You know why that's foolishness. That's because you know you're

  168. wrong as a as opposed to saying, you know, I didn't think of that

  169. way. I still don't agree with you.

  170. Let me go back and do more research.

  171. Let me go back and think about it.

  172. But beloved, when you have thought about it, when you've

  173. come to that conclusion that this is right, what do you do?

  174. You need to change. You need to begin to change.

  175. This fool shouldn't have stirred the pot.

  176. He should have soon the facts. Look at the facts, see, look at

  177. the facts, understand and then start.

  178. What is this world? Maybe this God?

  179. If this God can be rebuked and obliterated in the name of one

  180. man, Jesus Christ, he should have turned around.

  181. The right thing to do was to say, who is this Jesus you are

  182. preaching? No, he stirs the pot between the

  183. Jews and the Romans. He switches to revenge.

  184. Unrighteous revenge. Violence, assault.

  185. Dragging them. He actually put his hands on

  186. them and the crowd put their hand on.

  187. This is assault, right? Today.

  188. Don't touch me. Don't touch me.

  189. Oh, you touched me with your nail.

  190. This is assault. I'm calling 911.

  191. Right. Quick.

  192. What's the number for 911? As said, Homer Simpson, right?

  193. It was an assault, dragging them.

  194. How violent was that? Saint Paul and Selas were

  195. dragged in the marketplaces and then they misled the magistrate,

  196. the lawyers saying these men are troubling our city because they

  197. are Jews. So that's racist.

  198. So race, look at this racism. This is this is the year 10,

  199. maybe AD9, 5AD These men are Jews.

  200. They are causing trouble, right? Look at the contrast between the

  201. the demon that was in this girl and the evil businessman, this

  202. con artist who's making money through this evil false God.

  203. The demon report referred to Paul and Selas as servants of

  204. the Most High. This man, this con says they are

  205. disturbing our city. The demon says they are

  206. proclaiming to you the way of salvation.

  207. How did the demons know this? Well, demons are the angels, the

  208. fallen angels. Well, the Angel knew Jesus and

  209. the angels saw Jesus. He knew, but this man didn't.

  210. This con man said they are advocating customs that are not

  211. lawful for us to adopt. You know, sometimes maybe it is

  212. worthwhile to listen to a person who is not in the right, you

  213. know, is not agreeing with you. Sometimes maybe it's even good

  214. to, you know, take heed to someone who you know, maybe has

  215. no relationship with God, you know, maybe does not read the

  216. Bible much, you know, doesn't attend the church much.

  217. And this is this goes for me too.

  218. Just take heed. I'm not saying agree with take

  219. heed and not follow the footsteps, but what they say is

  220. true. What the demon was saying is

  221. true, but then the demon wasn't holy.

  222. That's why the demon wasn't doing it for the right mode.

  223. That's why he was being he was being rebuked and that's why

  224. Jesus didn't let the demons speak because through this

  225. there's deception. We have to be very careful too,

  226. right? The common says these people are

  227. advocating customs that are law unlawful.

  228. We we shouldn't be doing them. It's greed.

  229. And it was all because what happened?

  230. The finances were cut. Greed one Timothy 610 But the

  231. root of all evil is the love of money.

  232. He didn't care about his God who was put to shame, who was

  233. exposed. He didn't care about that.

  234. Just greed, anger, right? When you have religious debate,

  235. interfaith, religious debate interfaith, not ecumenical

  236. Interfaith, even ecumenical ecumenism has to be, you know,

  237. we have to tread carefully in ecumenism as well, right?

  238. But let's not go there. Let's go into faith first.

  239. When you're talking to our friends, the Muslims, and you

  240. prove to them, what do they start doing?

  241. They start being aggressive. And if they had the opportunity,

  242. they would do what their book is telling them to do.

  243. Or you talk to an atheist, or you talk to someone who is, who

  244. just doesn't, has no relationship with God, right?

  245. It's all because of greed. It's all because of pride.

  246. It's all because of anger and hatred.

  247. That's why the world is where it is now, beloved.

  248. What's more done astonishing is what the magistrates do.

  249. It says that they tore their garments now.

  250. It says they toured St. Paul's and Silas's gun, but in

  251. the Shippow version says that they tore their garments.

  252. Them too, and they commanded them to scorch them.

  253. Bells ringing. There should be bells ringing,

  254. right? Bell ringing.

  255. Time now. Matthew 2665.

  256. Mark 1463. The high priest Caiaphas tore

  257. his clothes, his robe upon hearing Jesus identifying

  258. himself as the Son of God. Rightly so he is, It's the

  259. truth. He is the truth.

  260. So what? He said his truth, Caiaphas

  261. toss, he tears his clothes, His robe for truth.

  262. The Majesty's tear their robe for lies.

  263. Look at the extent they are going.

  264. Because that evil God was exposed, that demon and the

  265. financial gains were disrupted. They scorched them with whips.

  266. More bells. Those who read their Bibles.

  267. Matthew 2726 Then he released Barabba.

  268. This is Pilate to them and scorched Jesus.

  269. Exactly. More more belts should be going

  270. off. John 1518.

  271. And if the world hates you, know that it hated you hated me

  272. before you. If they do to the green branch,

  273. what will they do to the dried up?

  274. That means if they did to me what they're doing to me, what

  275. are they going to going to do to you?

  276. And this is happening. So the, the warnings of Jesus

  277. weren't just just, you know, a few words just to fill up the,

  278. the verse and the chapter. No, they were thrown in prison.

  279. And you know, Jesus was held in custody overnight in the high

  280. priest's house for approximately 6 to 8 hours until they dragged

  281. him. They dragged him as well through

  282. the marketplaces to crucify him. Wow, they really followed the

  283. footsteps of Jesus. This is Christianity, beloved,

  284. and the keeper of the prison to keep them so secure that he put

  285. them in the inner jail, inner inner cell and he bound their

  286. feet that they would not, they would not flee.

  287. All right. Who else did they put as a God

  288. when Jesus was put in the tomb? They came and said, you know

  289. what this deceiver, they said to Pilot, this deceiver would say

  290. that I would resurrect on the third day.

  291. See, they remembered this, but they didn't take heed.

  292. Again, they did not take heed. They were too worried about

  293. their positions, about their authority, you know, about them

  294. being knowing and Pharisee. I, we are, we are different.

  295. We know you don't know. They didn't take it.

  296. They're they're they're quoting scripture.

  297. This deceiver said that on the third day he will rise.

  298. Now let's be careful that, you know, his disciples don't come

  299. and steal his body. And today they think to date,

  300. they think that Jesus body is stolen where it is know it.

  301. You know, when you have this argument, you say, OK, show it.

  302. Where is it? Where is it?

  303. You know, they become aggressive, arrogant, and they

  304. start being, you know, disrespectful, right?

  305. So what does Pilate say? You have God, You can't put

  306. gods. So Jesus was not bound by death.

  307. No, not bound by death. No, no, Jesus gave himself to

  308. death and there were gods so that they would his body would

  309. not be stolen, but he was resurrected.

  310. Praise and glory be to his name. He was resurrected.

  311. All this, beloved, all this because of exposing false gods,

  312. evil, intense and wicked motives.

  313. Don't be angry. Don't start planning your

  314. revenge when you are exposed, whatever it may be, even if it's

  315. evil, even if it's evil, immorality when it's exposed,

  316. don't start finding excuses to prove that that is wrong.

  317. No, no, it's not wrong. When it's from the Holy

  318. Scriptures, when it's, it's just common sense.

  319. It's evident in history, in the lives of a life of mankind.

  320. It's evident. You can't go against it.

  321. Don't become arrogant, ignorant. Don't become, you know, begin to

  322. assault and insult. Step back and think about it

  323. again. This, these, these masters

  324. should have stood back and said, let's, let's examine what just

  325. happened. The same thing happened to the

  326. high priest and the priest and the Pharisees that, you know,

  327. the blind man from his mother's womb was made, healed.

  328. Christ actually made eyeballs. They call them eyeballs.

  329. Yeah, eyeballs. I don't know the, the, the

  330. optomical liturgy or, or, or terminology.

  331. He didn't have any eyeballs. That's why he spat on the

  332. ground. I am your fashioner.

  333. I fashioned you. I am the God.

  334. And he made eyes and they said, oh, he's not adhering to Moses's

  335. laws. They look at the the miracle,

  336. look at the miracle. Oh, he healed on the Sabbath.

  337. We become very Pharisitical. We become like these masters at

  338. times when Stephen reveals proves exposes my evil, my

  339. wrongdoing, my foolishness. And if I truly fear God and I

  340. love the Lord, I should step back and say let me think about

  341. it. I know yes, it's just a you

  342. know, it's it's inhumanity. It's our human instinct.

  343. It's just a it's just a human thing to quickly put up our God

  344. right. OK, but then again, let's not

  345. use our guards too quickly, put them up, but then slowly drop

  346. them and think about it, because then you can go to such an

  347. extreme where you can cause a lot of damage to yourself, to

  348. others. This is how deaths have been.

  349. You know, you're, you hear a story.

  350. Man shoots his wife and his children because his grand, his,

  351. his mother-in-law said something he didn't like.

  352. Now, if you go back and examine and I'm not saying that, you

  353. know, maybe the mother-in-law was correct.

  354. Maybe your mother-in-law was exposing your evil.

  355. And look at look at to what extreme this man's gone.

  356. He shoots his wife and his children, he kills them.

  357. He's rotting, rotting in prison. That's how the demons work,

  358. beloved. Look, the demon was exposed, the

  359. demon was expelled, and yet, and yet this man, the demon worked

  360. through this man as well, because the demon did not stop.

  361. And again, take heed to what that name was in the name of

  362. Jesus Christ and in only in one name.

  363. Beloved, let me tell you, and I always say this, you can stand

  364. before a demon and rebuke him in the name of Muhammad.

  365. Nothing's going to happen. He'll actually laugh.

  366. He'll chuckle at you. You can stand before the demon

  367. and Satan and rebuke him in the name of Vishnu.

  368. He will chuckle at you. You can stand and rebuke the the

  369. the demon or the the, the, the Satan.

  370. In the name of Buddha, in the name of Rajneesh, in the name of

  371. Krishna, in the name of any other gods that are out there or

  372. those that are seen as gods or as saviors.

  373. The demons chuckle. The demons only shutter in the

  374. name when hear they when they hear the name Jesus Christ.

  375. And we pray that when the person that hears the name of Jesus

  376. Christ and is rebuked in one way and is convicted that they come

  377. back and say who is this Jesus Christ?

  378. Tell me about him. Because only through Jesus

  379. Christ is there salvation. The demon proclaimed this, you

  380. know, isn't it? Isn't it annoying now?

  381. Isn't it so annoying now, so frustrating now that there are

  382. Christians, there are the man of the cloth, whether it's white,

  383. red or black, now claiming that there are other ways through

  384. salvation, other ways except Jesus Christ, and yet this demon

  385. is putting them to shame. Read the scriptures, read the

  386. scriptures. The demons are saying,

  387. proclaiming these men are teaching you, proclaiming you

  388. the way of salvation, the right way of salvation, being rebuked.

  389. But that's why Paul allowed him to go on, allowed the demon.

  390. He had authority, yell authority.

  391. You know, sometimes when you're in an argument and you see a

  392. little child come and speak and you see the real little child is

  393. truly rebuking the person that is so stubborn, you just let the

  394. child speak. Yeah.

  395. Go, go, keep going, keep going. What did you say?

  396. What did you say? Do you see?

  397. This child knows, but you don't. This child is more wiser than

  398. you, right? Some.

  399. And that's why Paul let the demon speak.

  400. And he was all divinely inspired.

  401. Praise and glory be to Christ's name.

  402. The demon knows proclaimed that these men preaching Jesus Christ

  403. is only the way. Yet today in Christendom, those

  404. who claim Jesus Christ to be their Lord, those who preach the

  405. Lord Jesus Christ, those who go up the pulpit and speak, now

  406. they're proclaiming that there are many other ways to God

  407. except Jesus Christ. You blasphemer, you black,

  408. whoever you may be, you blasphemer, go and learn from

  409. the demon. Go and learn from this demon.

  410. And, and if you if you don't accept this as being true fact,

  411. an event that actually occurred, well, then you know what?

  412. Don't dare preach Scripture. Don't dare open the Scripture.

  413. Don't even hold it, don't even have it because you're saying,

  414. oh, you know what? This didn't happen.

  415. You know, when you see the stories about, you know, the,

  416. the, the, the, the Ninevites and, and Jonah, you know, it's

  417. just, it's just something, why, why are you even referring to

  418. that through the scriptures? If you have doubts and you speak

  419. about the truth of what's in the Holy Scriptures, why are you

  420. even reading them? Don't because you're bringing

  421. more condemnation upon yourself. You're becoming this man.

  422. You're becoming this master. But no, beloved, we have power.

  423. There is power in the name of Jesus Christ, not only to cast

  424. out demons. There is power in the name of

  425. Jesus Christ to rebuke. You may be rebuked in this

  426. episode. I don't know.

  427. God knows. You may be rebuked.

  428. You may be convicted. You may be put to shame.

  429. It's OK. That's not the end of the world.

  430. Don't. Don't you know, throw in the

  431. towel? No, no, no.

  432. What do I do? Well, examine yourself even

  433. more. Begin to pray to the Lord.

  434. Maybe you seek some counsel from your spiritual counselor, your

  435. priest. If it's serious, offer your fast

  436. to be absolved and start walking the path of reconciliation,

  437. repentance back to the Father just as the prodigal boy or the

  438. prodigal son did. Praise and glory be to Jesus

  439. name who is the risen Lord. Praise be to his name now and at

  440. all times and forever. Amen.
