  1. This has been an incredible month together in June.

  2. I spent my birthday and Father's Day in my motherland in

  3. Italy.

  4. And I want to thank you sincerely for the opportunity to

  5. invest apostolically in a nation.

  6. As you can see from the video, I traveled the entire nation from

  7. north to south.

  8. How many of you know that when you sow into one man's field, you

  9. reap in your own?

  10. And I believe that we're gonna reap here in V1.

  11. Also, I wanna celebrate the fact that as a spiritual father,

  12. two weeks ago, 22 of my spiritual sons and daughters took

  13. the pulpit and preached across America.

  14. Come on, isn't that something to celebrate that when one lead pastor

  15. is gone, 22 voices replace him?

  16. This is not a one man show.

  17. This is multiplication through spiritual family.

  18. And that wasn't even all the preachers I raised up.

  19. Come on.

  20. Devil's real afraid.

  21. He's not afraid of a one man show in celebrity Christianity, but

  22. he is afraid of spiritual fathers that want their children

  23. to do better than them, that will raise up voices all across America

  24. and the world.

  25. But we've gotta look at the cycles that we're in, and we've gotta

  26. address a system that is in operation that we may not have even

  27. installed, that is currently functioning in our lives.

  28. So, like picture this with me.

  29. You walk into a house and it's winter and it's freezing cold.

  30. And then you check the thermostat and it says 72 degrees,

  31. but the house is 40 degrees and it's getting colder.

  32. What happened?

  33. The thermostat was broken, probably damaged years ago, maybe

  34. during a storm, maybe because of a power surge.

  35. No one even really remembers what happened.

  36. And it's been reading bad data and it's been responding to a reality

  37. that no longer.

  38. So it's 40 degrees in the house, but the thermometer says 72

  39. because that system and the instrument is broken.

  40. Most of us are literally in this room.

  41. And we are living in that house right now because something

  42. in our lives was broken and it happened many years ago.

  43. And because that system is broken, we are repeating this cycle

  44. today.

  45. But I got good news from you.

  46. Who the son sets free is free indeed.

  47. And God is gonna set us free from broken systems, cycles of brokenness.

  48. Are y' all with me?

  49. So today I want to talk to everybody under the sound of my voice

  50. that has ever said, I don't know why I keep doing that.

  51. I don't know why I shut down every time someone gets close to

  52. me.

  53. I don't know why I get triggered Every time I walk into

  54. the church.

  55. Hello.

  56. I don't know why I keep exploding at all of the small things.

  57. Oh, it's getting real quiet here today.

  58. But we have these reactions that we may not understand why we

  59. are reacting this way.

  60. We're gonna go to the root, and God's gonna deal with it.

  61. Are you ready?

  62. Because here's the theological truth I wanna show you.

  63. And this is gonna set somebody free.

  64. You are not just broken, you are programmed.

  65. And God is in the reprogramming business.

  66. Come on.

  67. You're not just broken, you're programmed.

  68. But God is in the reprogramming business.

  69. You know, scientists and psychologists and all of this is

  70. converging right now.

  71. And they're telling a story that most of our life is running

  72. on autopilot.

  73. Most of our life is a result of our unconscious mind making conscious

  74. decisions unconsciously.

  75. In other words, we don't know why we do it.

  76. We don't know why we're attracted to what we're attracted

  77. to.

  78. We don't know why we keep going back to the addiction.

  79. We don't know why we can't just have a normal relationship.

  80. But today we're going to go to the very root of that man.

  81. I feel the anointing on this message.

  82. I'm going to preach this to myself.

  83. I'm going to get free if nobody else gets free.

  84. This is for me.

  85. Turn with me to John, chapter five, verses one through nine.

  86. If you have your Bibles.

  87. John, chapter five, verses one through nine.

  88. I want you to read this with me.

  89. Afterward, Jesus returned to Jerusalem for one of the Jewish holy

  90. days.

  91. Inside the city, near the sheep gate, was the pool of Bethesda.

  92. Crowds of sick people, blind, lame, even paralyzed, lay on the

  93. porches.

  94. One of the men lying there had been sick for 38 years.

  95. When Jesus saw him and knew that he had been ill for a long time,

  96. he asked him, would you like to get well?

  97. It's an interesting question.

  98. And the man's response to Jesus Christ, the King of Kings,

  99. the Lord of Lords, God's only begotten son, the healer of all healers

  100. is.

  101. Sir, this is what he says.

  102. I can't, sir, the sick man said, for I have no one to put me

  103. in the pool when the water bubbles up.

  104. Jesus told him, stand up, pick up your mat and walk.

  105. 38 years.

  106. I want you to feel the weight of that number with me right now

  107. in this room.

  108. 38 years of waking up and doing the same thing.

  109. Paralyzed.

  110. 38 years of dragging himself with his mat to the pool of Bethesda.

  111. Just trying to get to the place of healing, just doing whatever

  112. he could to get to the pool.

  113. Now the pool of Bethesda was stirred supernaturally by angels.

  114. And the idea was that if you could get into that pool, then you

  115. could be healed.

  116. And so what happened was he had the method, he had the means,

  117. he even had the desire, but he didn't have a revelation of, see,

  118. come on and see.

  119. This is what we do in life.

  120. You drug yourself through college.

  121. First generation college student.

  122. Oh, yeah.

  123. Pell grants.

  124. Oh yeah.

  125. Loans.

  126. Oh, yeah.

  127. Even I got my mom to sign a loan.

  128. Dragging ourselves, we drug ourselves through ministry, training.

  129. Oh yeah, God's going to use me.

  130. I'm going to feel significant.

  131. I am going to be used by God.

  132. I'm dragging myself to the, the, the local training and I'm dragging

  133. myself through relationships.

  134. Oh yeah.

  135. I'm going to be the first one to stay married in my family.

  136. And I'm going to drag my.

  137. I'm going to make it happen.

  138. I'm going to try harder.

  139. This is the condition that this man was in for 38 years.

  140. 38 years.

  141. And you've got to understand what I'm saying, because all of us

  142. are this man, like you are this person.

  143. And Jesus is standing in front of him and he says, I can't because

  144. I have no one to help me.

  145. This is the condition of the local church.

  146. Well, I would be in such a better condition if I had Mike Signorelli's

  147. phone number and he would actually go out to dinner with me

  148. and he would actually mentor me and he would actually call me

  149. and my life would be.

  150. Yeah, I mean, at least he could do a zoom or something.

  151. Like, I'd be so much better if that.

  152. See, this thing is, he was looking for somebody to help him

  153. into a pool, not realizing that he had all access to healing

  154. if he obeyed the voice that was right in front of him.

  155. And what God was trying to do is disciple him into complete healing

  156. instead of making him dependent on somebody to pull him

  157. into a healing.

  158. Come on, somebody.

  159. The Lord's trying to help you today.

  160. And see what happens is we're looking.

  161. Our trigger and our wound has us.

  162. Looking for a man to help instead.

  163. Of looking to obey the voice that already spoke to us.

  164. You don't need a mentor.

  165. The Holy Spirit will teach you all things.

  166. You gotta learn how to be obedient to the word he already gave

  167. you.

  168. I just need somebody to spend some time with me.

  169. Stop talking out of a wound.

  170. You want Me to spend time with you.

  171. But you haven't spent any time with God.

  172. So have you elevated me above God?

  173. Stop putting a man on a pedestal.

  174. And then you can put Jesus on the throne and you'll get a healer.

  175. Not just the healing.

  176. Oh, I see.

  177. What happens is this.

  178. Our wound will cause us to look to a person instead of being

  179. obedient to a voice.

  180. I don't even know if y' all catch that.

  181. It's like the voice is telling us what to do.

  182. But the thing is, we want a person to match our expectation of

  183. how the miracle's gonna happen.

  184. That is, see, God, what he will often do is show up in a different

  185. way than you imagine.

  186. But that's because he's not in the methods.

  187. He's in the obedience.

  188. And so God will come with a new method that will require real

  189. obedience.

  190. There's a habit loop that we get stuck in.

  191. I wanna show you this.

  192. There's a cue.

  193. So the cue is, the pool is stirring.

  194. The angels are stirring it.

  195. Then there is a routine.

  196. Lie here and wait.

  197. Then there is a reward.

  198. At least I tried.

  199. You see this?

  200. So this is a habit loop.

  201. The cue is, the pool is stirring.

  202. Okay.

  203. The pool is stirring.

  204. Okay.

  205. I found a new church.

  206. I feel the anointing there.

  207. The pool is stirring.

  208. Oh, I just got into a new relationship.

  209. This one's gonna be different.

  210. Oh, I'm gonna get a brand new degree because the last degree was

  211. the wrong degree.

  212. But this is gonna be the degree.

  213. What happens is the pool starts stirring.

  214. Some of us go from inspiration to inspiration, idea to idea, dream

  215. to dream, and we never step fully into it because we're more

  216. addicted to the stirring of the pool than the obedience to the

  217. voice.

  218. And we're always looking for a pool, never looking to obey the voice.

  219. And this is why people go, oh, I heard the pool is stirring in V1.

  220. Oh, no, it's not there.

  221. The pool is stirring at the other chur.

  222. You're always looking for a pool to be stirred instead of asking

  223. yourself, am I obeying the voice right in front of me?

  224. And people would rather have a pool than have a savior.

  225. People, come on.

  226. This is a cue, though.

  227. Then there's a routine.

  228. The routine is, I'm gonna lay here and wait.

  229. I'm gonna serve a little.

  230. Then I'm gonna leave the church.

  231. If it doesn't go the way that I thought it was gonna go, I'm gonna

  232. lay here and wait.

  233. I'm gonna do the programs.

  234. I'm gonna sign up for the things Then I'm gonna bounce.

  235. I'm gonna date this.

  236. I realize that they're not perfect.

  237. I'm gonna bounce.

  238. It's like people get caught in these loops over and over and over

  239. again.

  240. I'm gonna work this job a little bit, Then I'm gonna start

  241. complaining about my boss and all the people I work with, and then

  242. I'm gonna quit and find another one.

  243. There's people that go from job to job, church to church, relationship

  244. to relationship, and they don't realize that they are caught

  245. in a queue.

  246. How many of us, if we were being honest, are caught in a queue?

  247. Can I talk about addiction sometimes?

  248. I'm not gonna look at anybody while I say this.

  249. Sometimes we actually manufacture the pain so that we can

  250. get to the solution, which is alcohol, faster.

  251. Sometimes we manufacture the drama so that we can get to the marijuana

  252. faster.

  253. Sometimes we make something wrong because we wanted the fake

  254. solution to make it right.

  255. Oh, you're not letting me talk about the cue.

  256. Sometimes when the answer's right in front of us and it's Jesus,

  257. we reject the answer to embrace the cycle because we like

  258. the circuitry from the cue all the way to the wrong solution.

  259. There are people that can't let anything be normal or right because

  260. their central nervous system is so dysregulated that if.

  261. If for a moment, things are right, they have to make it wrong

  262. to get to the thing at the end of the queue.

  263. That re.

  264. Because alcohol is a reward for somebody who has problems.

  265. Pornography is a reward for somebody who has anxiety.

  266. Drama.

  267. People will create the drama.

  268. There are couples who will fight each other to get to the reward

  269. of making up.

  270. Maybe I went too deep tonight.

  271. Maybe I today.

  272. Maybe today, maybe in Miami, they're saying, he went too deep.

  273. We didn't need this therapy session.

  274. So you think that you have a lust problem, you have a pool problem,

  275. because it's the habit loop.

  276. And it's like, well, my life is hard and I need a sin vacation.

  277. Come on.

  278. What happened to a sanctification vacation?

  279. What happened to a salvation vacation?

  280. See, what I'm saying?

  281. Is this what this does?

  282. And I'm just going to wrap this up nicely now, is it moves the

  283. problem from internal to external.

  284. That's simply what I'm trying to illustrate in the scripture is

  285. there are people that is always the church's problem.

  286. It's always their spouse's problem.

  287. It's always their nation's problem.

  288. I love befriending first generation immigrants to America

  289. because they still, still love our country.

  290. Nobody Loves this country like somebody who lived in another one

  291. before they came here.

  292. Am I right?

  293. And they.

  294. But the people, it's like that fourth, fifth, sixth generation American

  295. that is like they want.

  296. They want a whole another America.

  297. They.

  298. They're not happy.

  299. But this is what we do is familiarity breeds disdain.

  300. And we.

  301. And what happened was this problem was internal, but he was

  302. making it about the pool and he was making it about somebody that

  303. could help drag him in the pool.

  304. This is the cue.

  305. This is the habit loop that we get stuck in.

  306. And listen, the reason why I feel qualified to preach this is

  307. because every time I had a marriage problem, it was Julie's

  308. fault.

  309. Every time I had a problem at the church, it was the pastor's problem,

  310. it was his fault.

  311. And I'm telling you, if you could have met a version of me 25

  312. years ago, I was unrecognizable to the man that's

  313. in front of you today because I was laying at this pool and I was

  314. stuck in a loop.

  315. And the Lord wanted me to be delivered from that loop.

  316. But notice what Jesus asked him.

  317. Would you like to get well, I don't.

  318. I know that you don't believe this, but there are people who want

  319. to stay sick.

  320. I know you don't want to believe this, but there are people

  321. that.

  322. They want a reason to leave the church, not a reason to stay

  323. there.

  324. I just got to tell it like it is.

  325. But they don't.

  326. This is not about V1 church.

  327. This is about how they view life and relationships.

  328. Because they don't understand covenant in marriage.

  329. They don't understand at work.

  330. They.

  331. They want a reason to leave.

  332. They're like, have you ever heard the people from the hood.

  333. Give me a reason.

  334. Give me a reason.

  335. It's like you woke up ready to fight.

  336. You were just.

  337. You're living Mortal Kombat reality out here on the streets and

  338. you're just like, it was going to be somebody.

  339. Am I right?

  340. So what happens is people already made up their mind.

  341. And let me just tell you.

  342. Do we have any motorcycle ride riders here at this church?

  343. Okay, two of them.

  344. Praise God.

  345. This is a bad analogy.

  346. Then for the rest of you, when you're riding a motorcycle, you hit

  347. what you head for.

  348. Whatever you look at is where that bike goes.

  349. Am I right?

  350. Whatever you look at.

  351. So when you people don't understand when you're looking.

  352. This man was looking at the pool, not looking at Jesus.

  353. So he was trying.

  354. His goal was the wrong goal.

  355. There's people that.

  356. Their goal is not Reconciliation.

  357. Their goal is division, and you're trying to convince them.

  358. No, no, please stay.

  359. You can't convince somebody who's already looking at a perverted

  360. vision.

  361. They are going to ride their life into the direction of that lie,

  362. and there's nothing you can do to stop it.

  363. Jesus Christ himself couldn't stop it.

  364. This is why parents come to me.

  365. My son, he's addicted to opiates.

  366. You can save him, Mike.

  367. I mean, my d. If you could spend 24 hours in my DMs on all social

  368. media, you would think I'm God.

  369. Mike, if you deliver them, if you pray for them, if you call them,

  370. if you touch.

  371. No, that's not how it works.

  372. Jesus asked him the question, do you want to get well?

  373. Your son is addicted to opiates laying at the pool of Bethesda.

  374. Does he want to be free?

  375. Because deliverance is for the desperate.

  376. There's some people that know church is good enough for them, but

  377. it has nothing to do with the church.

  378. It's about them.

  379. They are the problem.

  380. Wherever they go, they bring the problem with them.

  381. It's just like a marriage.

  382. It's.

  383. It's not.

  384. I'm going to.

  385. Oh, my next wife is going to be the one.

  386. No.

  387. You don't know how to be happy with anyone.

  388. The problem is not the pull.

  389. It's you.

  390. Do you want to be healed?

  391. Do you want to be healed?

  392. And I'm saying this because I gave my pastors a lot of.

  393. A lot of hard times.

  394. Nothing.

  395. I preach to you.

  396. I am not the example of the bad part of it.

  397. I was the addict.

  398. I was addicted to alcohol 20 years ago.

  399. I was the one making problems in my church.

  400. My wife will tell you the stories the next time I let her preach

  401. two years from now.

  402. You understand what I'm trying to say to you?

  403. It's the victim mindset.

  404. And the only reason why democratic socialism is.

  405. Is entering the us AKA communism, is because everyone's

  406. got a victim mindset.

  407. Help me.

  408. Give me.

  409. Hand me out, please.

  410. Please help me.

  411. No.

  412. If you don't work, you don't eat.

  413. God doesn't reward laziness.

  414. We don't get handouts.

  415. We give a hand out and we pull other people up.

  416. We are apostolic builders.

  417. We are prophets.

  418. We are not victims.

  419. We're not going to bend our knee to political idolatry.

  420. That the root of it is demonic.

  421. This is what's happening in New York City.

  422. They're starting to win seats.

  423. And literally, they called Zoran Mamdani a.

  424. King maker because he put these radical left Democrats out

  425. there and they voted for him.

  426. And when my.

  427. And some of you don't understand.

  428. This series is entitled Kingmaker.

  429. When I wrote down the actual strategy for this year, in the month

  430. of June, I wrote Kingmaker.

  431. And the Lord said, mike, you have to break the victim mentality

  432. off of your church.

  433. And you have to see when we say that phrase, he's the king of

  434. all kings.

  435. You're thinking he's the king over evil kings or he's the king

  436. over principalities and power powers.

  437. That's true.

  438. But he is also a king that makes kings, who makes queens, who

  439. makes princesses and princes.

  440. And.

  441. Come on, it's a royal.

  442. You are a royal priesthood, a chosen generation.

  443. He's the king maker, making us kings.

  444. He's the king over a whole bunch of kings.

  445. Are you a son and daughter of the king?

  446. Then you are royalty, not a victim.

  447. They freeze the rent.

  448. You should be buying the building.

  449. You're the head and not the tail.

  450. We're the seed of Abraham.

  451. Come on, I'm trying to help you.

  452. We are not victims.

  453. But we're.

  454. This was the mat.

  455. If I could crawl my way through college, if I could crawl

  456. my way through ministry.

  457. Crawl my.

  458. And then we do this.

  459. And here's what happens.

  460. The more, More effort we expend here, the angrier we get when

  461. we don't get in the pool, when we don't get placed in the pool.

  462. I hope I didn't mess up with this sermon.

  463. I wrestled with this sermon.

  464. You have no idea.

  465. I was like, God, is this too much for 30 minutes?

  466. The more, the more effort you take here trying to drag yourself

  467. into that pool, the angrier you will be when someone else doesn't

  468. place you in that pool.

  469. But I went.

  470. I drugged myself through V1 College, and he asked everybody to

  471. preach but me.

  472. He didn't put me in the pool.

  473. Well, according to the Bible, promotion does not come from the

  474. east or the west, but promotion comes from God.

  475. And so, honey, I can't stop you.

  476. If God wants to promote you, no man can stop you.

  477. Apparently, you have a problem with God if you're not being promoted.

  478. It had nothing to do with me.

  479. The Bible says even evil rulers are put in position by God.

  480. So if you ain't being promoted, don't check me.

  481. Check God in your relationship.

  482. But.

  483. But when you got a generation of victims, people don't want to

  484. hear this.

  485. They don't want to hear, oh, it's, It's.

  486. I gotta do this, and I'm not the favorite?

  487. No.

  488. Listen, if you're God's favorite, ain't nobody gonna stop

  489. you.

  490. This is the word, and this is not a cruel question.

  491. When Jesus said, do you want to be healed people?

  492. Would you.

  493. You think I get canceled as your pastor?

  494. Jesus would be canceled every day.

  495. They'd be like, did you hear what that man from Nazareth who thinks

  496. he is the Messiah was saying?

  497. He asked that sick person.

  498. What kind of question is that?

  499. Remember, there's three kinds of people, according to proverbs.

  500. Wise, foolish, and evil.

  501. Wise, foolish, and evil.

  502. The wise get promoted, the fools get an opportunity to become

  503. wise, and the evil get banished.

  504. This is what God is doing right now.

  505. And my encouragement to all of us is, if you can hear my voice right

  506. now, you're either wise and you're about to get promoted, or

  507. you're foolish and God's trying to make you wise for real.

  508. This is grace.

  509. Because for what's to come, we can't be victims anymore.

  510. And we can't.

  511. We can't be so angry because we work so hard to drag ourselves

  512. to the pool that another person didn't put us in.

  513. When God said, I was never gonna use that pool.

  514. Oh, come on.

  515. I was never gonna use that pool anyways.

  516. See, listen, in 2020, I didn't even have social media.

  517. I had no famous Christian in America even knew my name.

  518. But God said, mike, I'm not gonna use the pool for what I do

  519. next.

  520. I'm gonna call you, I'm gonna give you a platform.

  521. And listen, y' all don't even understand God.

  522. When God wants to do something, he will stand in front

  523. of you and.

  524. Say, okay, now you got me.

  525. And if you want this healing, you've.

  526. Gotta make it up in your mind.

  527. So the question I'm asking everybody is, do you wanna be healed

  528. now?

  529. Cause God has taken the experience excuses away.

  530. Do you want to be healed?

  531. Do you want to be healed?

  532. Because you can't blame.

  533. See, this is the loop is if nobody drags me into the pool, then

  534. I can blame my condition on a person.

  535. But if you get healed, then you.

  536. Now have to work.

  537. I'm stepping off of serving at the church.

  538. I'm stepping off as if you launched a 501C3 ministry within

  539. the Greeter team.

  540. You don't have to resign from your board of directors.

  541. It's very simple.

  542. Healed people are working people.

  543. And working people say, I'd rather be a front door greeter at

  544. the house of God than to be the person going to the Nightclubs,

  545. going to the.

  546. Strip clubs, going to the Lord saved me.

  547. The least I can do.

  548. I used to expend all my energy sinning.

  549. The least I can do is expend an hour a week serving.

  550. And what have we lost our mind?

  551. Have we lost the joy of our salvation?

  552. That we forgot where he picked us up from when we were outside of

  553. the pool?

  554. That we now can't stand at that pool and pick other people up

  555. who need healing.

  556. I don't care, Pastor.

  557. I'll do the work.

  558. I'll show up when the doors are open.

  559. Why?

  560. Because I used to show up to the bar when it was open.

  561. So I'll show up to the church.

  562. And this is not a sermon to increase our church.

  563. I did not ever set out to have a big church.

  564. I'm just talking about this as a Christian thing because healed

  565. people are working people.

  566. But if you have a wound, you have a reason to resign or step off

  567. or tender your resignation for your 501c3 greeting ministry.

  568. Where I come from, people stayed in positions in the local

  569. church for 30 years.

  570. That's called an oak of righteousness.

  571. Why?

  572. Because the roots go down and through every season, they stay rooted

  573. in that church.

  574. And then the generation sprout up around them.

  575. And you make a canopy of forest that begins to cover the people

  576. around them.

  577. And what, Long island and Miami and New York City?

  578. Maybe this message is just for V1.

  579. Church, but we don't need a whole bunch of weirdo, flighty people,

  580. emotional, wounded, dragging themselves around the pool.

  581. We need some healed people who will go out into a lost and die world,

  582. healing people in Jesus name and getting rooted in our communities

  583. for generations if the Lord doesn't come back because.

  584. This is his word, people are always like, you think you're gonna

  585. stay in New York?

  586. Yes, I'll die in New York.

  587. And like Elijah, you'll be passing my bones around here.

  588. Because if you have a plan B or a plan C or a plan D, you'll always

  589. do it.

  590. If you're married to a woman and you have a plan B, you'll leave

  591. her.

  592. If you are an entrepreneur and you have a plan B, you.

  593. Your first business won't succeed.

  594. This is why Elisha had to burn the plow.

  595. Because when he received that mantle from Elijah, he knew, if I

  596. don't kill all these oxen and everything that represented my old

  597. life, I will go back to it.

  598. And this is what we do.

  599. We, we.

  600. We join churches with a plan B.

  601. We join marriages with a plan B.

  602. And we will always take that plan B.

  603. And there's something about what Jesus is saying is, understand

  604. I'm asking you the question now.

  605. Do you want to be healed?

  606. Because I will rob you of your plan B and C and D. And when I heal

  607. you, this is irrevocable.

  608. You can't lie on that mat anymore because you'll be a fraud

  609. now.

  610. And this is like telling people, if you get delivered from

  611. depression,.

  612. You can't.

  613. Do what depressed people do anymore.

  614. You can't lay in the bed for.

  615. 12 hours, bedrotting, scrolling your phone, so.

  616. You can't tell God, I don't want to be depressed, but then not

  617. say, I don't want to do what depressed people do anymore.

  618. This is what I'm trying to tell you.

  619. Once God heals you, you're gonna have a change in your life.

  620. And I don't know about you, but I come from old school church.

  621. When people got saved, they changed.

  622. Only in this generation you get saved and nothing changes.

  623. But when God came to me at the pool of Bethesda, I didn't drink

  624. anymore.

  625. I didn't cheat anymore.

  626. We need to get saved.

  627. Saved.

  628. That's why I went viral for asking people to give up their drugs.

  629. That's not new.

  630. That's how we used to do church before we got soft.

  631. I went viral for casting out demons.

  632. That's nothing new.

  633. It's just that the church stopped confronting the devil because

  634. they were holding their hands with them.

  635. Do you want to be healed?

  636. Do you want to.

  637. It's a question.

  638. Because you can't do unhealed things once you healed people.

  639. Don't gossip.

  640. Healed people.

  641. Don't talk trash about every healed people.

  642. Aren't jealous, by the way.

  643. Don't.

  644. Please don't be jealous with me.

  645. You might want my platform, but you don't want my attacks.

  646. You can't even stand a demonic headache.

  647. You're not ready for what I'm dealing with.

  648. I'm telling you straight up, don't be jealous of me, because you're

  649. going to get the attacks too.

  650. And the only difference is I don't complain as much as other people,

  651. so I make it look too easy.

  652. You have no idea.

  653. But the question is, do you want to be healed?

  654. Mike, I know you have a penchant towards depression and anxiety

  655. and fear, but I'm asking you, do you want to be healed?

  656. And when I said yes, I have to remind myself of that question.

  657. I'm almost done, y'.

  658. All.

  659. Do you actually want to change?

  660. Or have you grown more Comfortable with the familiar pain.

  661. It's.

  662. I'm.

  663. It's a trauma response.

  664. And there's this old narrative that had been playing like a broken

  665. record in that man.

  666. That was, no one is here.

  667. The system has failed me.

  668. And that is a pattern of victim.

  669. Nobody helps me.

  670. I used to say this.

  671. You have no idea.

  672. When I moved to New York City, I was so jealous of the other pastors.

  673. I would say, well, they have a biological father that's a pastor,

  674. and if I was second generation, I would have it as easy

  675. as them.

  676. They have a denomination that gave them all this money.

  677. And I would look at these other pastors and be so jealous.

  678. And the Lord told me, he said, mike, I want you to break this jealousy

  679. by celebrating them.

  680. Because every single time I would see these pastors of New York

  681. City post, I would scroll past their post, say, I ain't liking that

  682. post.

  683. They don't deserve my.

  684. Like, I'm withholding my.

  685. Like, I'm withholding my heart.

  686. Come on.

  687. You're laughing because I got you.

  688. I'm not commenting on that.

  689. I'm withholding my comment, Right?

  690. And this was the early days of our church.

  691. And the Holy Spirit said, mike, I want you to break that spirit

  692. because I'm not in that.

  693. I don't do competition and rivalry and jealousy.

  694. Now, this is before I even had social media profiles.

  695. This is before the influence.

  696. And all of a sudden, the Lord was working on my heart, and he said,

  697. I want you to celebrate them.

  698. So every time I would see their post, I would heart it.

  699. Then I would put a comment, Amen, bro.

  700. Then I would do it again.

  701. Like, then I kept doing that.

  702. All of a sudden, it all happened around the same time.

  703. They started reaching out to me in the DMs.

  704. Hey, bro, I know you're in New York City, too.

  705. I've been watching V1.

  706. I want to tell you that I've been feeling so down and discouraged.

  707. And every single time you like my post and you comment, it just

  708. makes me feel so much better.

  709. As a matter of fact, I want to confess to you that I was jealous

  710. of you.

  711. Because my dad is a pastor, and I used to be jealous, saying,

  712. I wish I had Mike's story where I didn't have a dad that I

  713. had to report to for my ministry.

  714. I'm not kidding.

  715. These are the real stories.

  716. And literally, they would be like, then the next one man, a denomination,

  717. gave me all this money.

  718. I feel like I'm a slave to that money.

  719. Cause I see you do V1 you get to do whatever you want.

  720. And I realized we were all jealous of each other.

  721. We were all competing with each other.

  722. We were a whole bunch of wounded people at the pool of Bethesda,

  723. wishing that someone would drag us into this pool, not recognizing

  724. that our story was our story.

  725. And Jesus was there asking, do you want to be healed?

  726. And somebody had to say yes.

  727. And when I started liking those posts, what I didn't realize

  728. is that I was gonna have 2.3 million subscribers.

  729. What I didn't realize is I was gonna have half a million.

  730. On See, everybody sees the virality now, but you don't see the

  731. vulnerability before.

  732. And some of y' all want virality without vulnerability.

  733. But God is asking, will you reveal.

  734. It so I can heal it?

  735. And maybe if I can heal it,.

  736. I can platform your healing so you can break something off of somebody

  737. else.

  738. So I don't see likes on Instagram.

  739. I see me liking other people's stuff until I got up and picked up

  740. my mat and learned how to walk instead of blaming somebody about

  741. why my life wasn't fair.

  742. Am I helping anybody?

  743. Teach me the algorithms.

  744. Forgiveness, reconciliation.

  745. Come on.

  746. Celebration.

  747. I'm teaching you the algorithm.

  748. This is what trauma does.

  749. Dr. Mate says one of the world's leading trauma researchers

  750. explains that unhealed trauma does not primarily affect our memory.

  751. It affects our perception.

  752. The wounded person.

  753. This is what happens.

  754. They don't just remember the past.

  755. They see the present through the past.

  756. They see the present through the past.

  757. My last church situation didn't work out, so I'm gonna see

  758. V1 through the lens of a church that Mike's never been to.

  759. My last relationship didn't work out, so I'm gonna see this new

  760. relationship through the lens of a relationship that person never

  761. encountered.

  762. My last employer did me wrong, so I'm gonna look at my new employer,

  763. like, with a side eye.

  764. Mm.

  765. I'm watching you.

  766. This is what trauma does.

  767. I find it interesting that the Bible says these are words of Jesus

  768. Christ.

  769. To enter into this kingdom, you must become like a child.

  770. Why?

  771. Children don't have a past.

  772. Are you learning?

  773. Children don't have a past.

  774. If you don't have a past, you don't have triggers.

  775. So what he's saying is, you're not going to be able to enter this

  776. kingdom with all your triggers.

  777. But in order to deal with the triggers, I got to deal with your

  778. past.

  779. But in order to deal with your past, I got to convince you that

  780. you're the problem.

  781. Somebody just in the back just yelled Just open up the altar right

  782. now.

  783. Give me the puke buckets.

  784. I'm ready.

  785. Whatever.

  786. Let's do it.

  787. Okay, I get it today.

  788. This whole month, the Lord said, name this series kingmaker.

  789. But tell them, in order to become a royal priesthood, they have

  790. to break fellowship with their other family lines.

  791. In order to come into this royal family, they're gonna have

  792. to break fellowship with their past.

  793. In order to have a future, you have to break up with your past.

  794. That's what this represented.

  795. A mat will turn into a security blanket when it's all you've

  796. known.

  797. Are y' all with me?

  798. I know it's a lot of word play.

  799. I know you didn't expect me to come up like flava Flav.

  800. But this mat will become a security blanket because if we're

  801. being honest, we don't mind the position of laying down.

  802. This is what the Lord wants to deal with.

  803. Every new moment gets filtered through old pain.

  804. And the man at the pool wasn't just physically paralyzed.

  805. He was perceptually paralyzed.

  806. So some people will say, I have discernment.

  807. I just.

  808. I discern them.

  809. No, no, no.

  810. You are perceptually paralyzed by your past.

  811. And you don't have discernment.

  812. You have a filter called negativity.

  813. You have a filter called distrust.

  814. As a matter of fact, if you actually became childlike, would

  815. you believe the same things about that person?

  816. If you actually became childlike?

  817. If you had never.

  818. Here's the question.

  819. Here's how you know if you have righteous discernment.

  820. Ask yourself this question.

  821. Would I still think this if I had never been wounded?

  822. Because much of what the body of Christ calls discernment is a

  823. perceptual paralyzing that happens through wounds.

  824. And they're just.

  825. It's like, if you expect to be hurt by people, you're always going

  826. to be right.

  827. That doesn't make you discerning.

  828. You know what I mean?

  829. Yeah.

  830. Come on.

  831. Play that emotional music behind this.

  832. Manipulate their emotions.

  833. Isn't that what they say?

  834. Isn't that what they say?

  835. See that filter?

  836. It's a filter.

  837. That's why you stand in a church service, and one person is

  838. like, this is the greatest church.

  839. This helped me so much.

  840. And the other person is like, I just knew something was wrong with

  841. him.

  842. Let me just save you.

  843. My wife can tell you something is wrong with me.

  844. A lot's wrong with me.

  845. You got me.

  846. I'm a human.

  847. That doesn't make you a prophet.

  848. It just makes you traumatized.

  849. You're just revealing Your pain.

  850. We all got something wrong with us was.

  851. But I'm not here to point you to me.

  852. I'm here to point you to the one that there is nothing wrong with

  853. him.

  854. There was nothing wrong with him.

  855. And we fix our eyes on the perfection that is Jesus Christ.

  856. And while this man was looking to the pool, he could have been looking

  857. to the perfection of Jesus.

  858. But the problem is he was looking at the man.

  859. He was.

  860. That didn't help him.

  861. He was looking at the pool he couldn't get into, but he couldn't

  862. be.

  863. Behold the beauty right in front of him.

  864. This is the state of the church.

  865. We're looking at the man saying, oh, if that celebrity pastor

  866. would help me.

  867. We're looking at the pool.

  868. If I could just get into this status without anyone's help.

  869. We're looking but Jesus.

  870. We must behold his beauty.

  871. The day one of this church, it's always been about Jesus.

  872. Jesus is the reward.

  873. Jesus is the destination.

  874. Jesus is the mission of this church.

  875. Jesus is the vision of this church.

  876. Jesus is the past of this church.

  877. Jesus is the future of this church.

  878. It's Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.

  879. It's his beauty.

  880. And what happens is the more you look at humanity, the less you

  881. can.

  882. Focus on is beauty.

  883. You can only look at one thing at a time.

  884. And you have to make a difference choice.

  885. Am I going to look at the humanity?

  886. Am I going to look around this pool and everybody else is sick?

  887. Or am I going to recognize Jesus is right here?

  888. I'm looking at Jesus.

  889. You know, I'm about to end this thing.

  890. I'm just going to end it.

  891. We'll have to do this in multiple parts.

  892. When I was in Italy, they were showing footage of V1 at every location

  893. I went to.

  894. And they were saying, where Mike lives, it's also 97% non Christian.

  895. Where Mike lives, it's also impossible.

  896. But look what God is doing through V1 Church.

  897. They showed footage of Long island, footage of Miami.

  898. They showed the footage of us in Times Square.

  899. And they were saying, if God can do it for V1, God can do it for

  900. us.

  901. And I didn't know we even did this, but we have become.

  902. See, what happens is for every excuse, God gives an example.

  903. And so we have become an example.

  904. In the faith to those who are in hard regions.

  905. And you thought you were doing it for you and your family, but even

  906. from your seat at every campus you're leading, even from your seat,

  907. you become an example.

  908. And so you say, God, I have an excuse.

  909. I. I stutter and I'm not eloquent.

  910. Here's your example, Moses, God, I have an excuse.

  911. I'm depressed and filled with anxiety.

  912. Here's your example, Elij.

  913. Oh, God, I have trouble.

  914. I have a stepdad.

  915. I never had a biological father.

  916. Here's your ex.

  917. Here's your example, Jesus Christ, who had Joseph.

  918. So they.

  919. So the question I want to ask you when he.

  920. When we look at the mat is, do you want your excuse or do you want

  921. to become an example?

  922. Do you want your excuse or do.

  923. You want to become an example?

  924. I want to become an example.

  925. I want to be somebody's example.

  926. It was impossible before I saw it happen for them.

  927. I didn't even know that God could do that.

  928. And so, see, however deep your pain.

  929. Is, that's however wide your example is going to go.

  930. We got to choose.

  931. In the book of Isaiah, chapter 61, verse 1, it says, the spirit

    Isaiah 61:1

  932. of the sovereign Lord is upon me.

  933. For the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor.

  934. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted.

  935. And the word brokenhearted right there in Hebrew.

  936. It actually is a compound of two words joined together.

  937. The first one is leb.

  938. It means the heart, the center of the will.

  939. It means the emotion.

  940. It means the perception.

  941. Are you picking up on something?

  942. Your heart is where you perceive.

  943. So if you're negative, if you're fault finding, if you have

  944. 15 problems for every good thing that happens, if you're the

  945. one that just can't enjoy life and you're trapped in the prison

  946. of your own perception, it's actually a heart problem.

  947. But the second.

  948. The second compound word is Shabbar.

  949. Everybody say Shabbar.

  950. It means to break, to shatter, to rend violently.

  951. And Isaiah uses Shabbar elsewhere to describe dry branches

  952. that are shattered into pieces or statues that have fallen off their

  953. pedestals and shattered on the ground.

  954. So this is not the language of someone who is sad.

  955. This is the language of someone whose internal circuitry,

  956. their internal framework, the very mechanism by which they perceive

  957. reality, has been violently fractured.

  958. If you.

  959. Wherever you were traumatized, a system was broken.

  960. And we got people on our flight crews being like, why don't

  961. they show up for flight crew?

  962. We got people on ground crews.

  963. Why don't they show up, up not understanding that the people that

  964. we're interacting with have been shattered, broken, destroyed,

  965. irreparable damage.

  966. If it's not for God.

  967. And many of us carry this leb Shabbar, this shattered heart, it's

  968. what you're looking through everything Looks like it's going

  969. to hurt you.

  970. Every new relationship looks like the one that abandoned you.

  971. Every new opportunity looks like the one that failed you.

  972. You.

  973. Every new person who tries to love you looks like the one who betrayed

  974. you.

  975. You're not responding to what's in front of you.

  976. You think you are, but you're responding to the spirit of what's

  977. behind you.

  978. Everybody say autopilot.

  979. This is the autopilot of the shattered soul.

  980. And you are unconsciously.

  981. Let's bring it down.

  982. This is the.

  983. I'm trying to make this make sense as we close.

  984. When you.

  985. This Leb Shabbar basically means that your internal system,

  986. your heart, has been completely shattered.

  987. So what happens is you think that.

  988. You think that somebody's rejecting you, but actually you are

  989. rejecting them before they have the opportunity to reject you.

  990. So you think I'm choosing to leave the church.

  991. But your wound is choosing to reject a whole bunch of people before

  992. they even have a chance to reject you.

  993. So you might not have actually been totally hurt yet, but your goal

  994. is to avoid even the possibility of being hurt.

  995. So you leave before it happens.

  996. Happens.

  997. You get into a new relationship romantically.

  998. This is why so many people go through these cycles.

  999. They don't understand they're running on an autopilot.

1000. And the Lord is trying to confront that today.

  1001. Because.

1002. Two half people don't make a whole relationship.

1003. Two whole people make a whole relationship.

1004. So God wants to restore.

  1005. God wants to heal.

1006. But we've got to that we live in such a blame.

  1007. It's Trump's fault.

  1008. It's mom, Donnie's fault.

  1009. It's my teacher.

1010. Think about the teachers of this generation.

1011. It's always the teacher's fault, Never the parents and never

  1012. the students.

1013. Can I just say it like it is?

  1014. It's always somebody else's fault.

1015. Well, they don't teach right.

1016. They don't diversify the teaching.

  1017. This, it's.

  1018. It's never.

  1019. I don't.

1020. I spend time scrolling on my phone all night and never did a worksheet.

  1021. With my own kid.

1022. It's a whole generation of people dragging themselves to the

1023. pool, blaming the person that didn't carry their kid into graduation,

1024. blaming the person that didn't carry them into a promotion, blaming

1025. the person that didn't carry them into a position.

1026. And I know this word is hard, but this is what's happening.

  1027. Leb Shabar.

1028. Mike Signorelli in my earlier years was totally shattered.

1029. Hard to love, very hard to get close to.

1030. Matter of fact, everyone around me suffered because I was

  1031. shattered.

1032. In Romans, chapter 8, verse 15, it says, for you did not receive

    Romans 8:15

1033. the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received

1034. the spirit of adoption as sons by whom we cry, abba, Father.

1035. And Paul is using a Greek phrase here that stops you cold when

  1036. you understand the Greek.

1037. He's basically saying, there is a spirit that you've received.

1038. Not just the spirit of slavery in the general sense, but in the

1039. Roman world, a slave has no rights.

1040. It has no identity outside the master, no future that they can plan,

1041. no response that they can choose.

1042. And their entire existence is automated by ownership.

1043. And what Paul was trying to say is, before you received the spirit

1044. of adoption, you had the spirit of slavery, which is the spirit

1045. that automates all of your choices.

1046. Your dad drank too much.

1047. Now you're going to drink too much.

1048. Your grandfather drink too much.

1049. Now you're going to drink.

1050. You had adultery in your mother's line, and you're going to

  1051. be an adulterer.

1052. The spirit of slavery is a sin.

1053. Spirit of automation, it automates your life.

1054. You're always going to be sad.

1055. You're always going to complain.

1056. You're always going to be negative.

1057. You're always going to leave.

1058. And it is a spirit of automation and says, this is.

  1059. This is the thing.

1060. Slaves didn't decide to serve.

1061. They served because it was the only pattern available to them.

1062. And the reason why people quit volunteer teams is because they have

1063. the spirit of slavery, not the spirit of sonship.

1064. Because they're saying, you can't force me to do nothing at this

  1065. church.

  1066. Your slave spirit's talking.

1067. Nobody's here because we have to be here.

1068. We're sons who choose to take care of the house.

  1069. We own this house.

  1070. We built this house.

  1071. We serve this house.

  1072. I own the dishes.

  1073. I own the bathtub.

  1074. I own the laundry.

  1075. I am not a slave.

1076. Only slaves quit teams because they don't have the spirit of adoption.

1077. That says, I do not have to do this.

1078. I get the privilege of stewarding what I own.

  1079. I own this church.

1080. I own New York City.

  1081. I own Long Island.

  1082. I own it.

  1083. I own the vid.

1084. This is not Mike's vision.

  1085. We own this vision.

1086. We have received the spirit of adoption, and we see what Mike saw.

1087. I'm about to preach this spirit off of you, that spirit of

  1088. slavery.

1089. You don't have to go back to pornography.

1090. Slavery has automated your response.

1091. But Jesus breaks you free from that.

1092. Automation and says, now whom the Son.

1093. Sets free is free indeed.

1094. We're coming off of autopilot, man.

  1095. I feel this.

1096. Notice the last part of the phrase, fall back into fear.

1097. The word back is everything, because it tells us that this is

  1098. a return to a previous state.

1099. Something was installed in you, an old operating system, and

1100. under pressure, you fall back into it automatically.

1101. But I say, no more, no more, no more, no more.

1102. Stand to your feet with me.

  1103. Help me out here.

1104. Across every campus, neuroscientists have discovered this

  1105. trauma loop.

  1106. And it's a cycle that's wired in the brain's limbic system.

1107. And when a wound is experienced, especially in childhood,

1108. the brain creates a neural pathway as a survival mechanism.

  1109. Hear me.

1110. A threat is detected, an automatic response fires.

  1111. Survival is achieved.

1112. The brain rewards this pathway and reinforces it.

1113. You don't understand what I'm trying to tell you, but in the deepest

1114. recesses of the limbic system of your organic brain is a broken

1115. thermostat that is telling you it's a temperature that's not a real

  1116. temperature.

  1117. It's saying 72 degrees in a 40.

1118. Degree house because the limbic system is broken.

1119. And I believe that God has delivered some of you from demons,

1120. but he's about to heal your biological brain when we pray.

1121. Because you are not going to live automated on a system that was

  1122. broken.

1123. God's going to heal it.

1124. But this is what happens.

1125. I left that church and my life is better.

1126. So therefore I was justified in leaving.

1127. But the thing is, you don't know that that's bad data.

1128. Because anytime you live on an island by yourself, you will be the

  1129. safest.

1130. But that doesn't mean it's the best.

1131. So what happens is your limbic system reinforces false data.

1132. That is the very nature, the biochemical nature of anxiety is

1133. you have reinforced the idea that something is attacking you that

1134. is immaterial and not real.

1135. And the more you reinforce that you made something immaterial,

1136. a material structure in your brain.

1137. So when people say anxiety is real,.

1138. It is real, but it's real in.

1139. The structure of your brain.

  1140. So it takes.

1141. So when Jesus said, do you want to be healed?

1142. He was saying, the work that I now have to do is so deep that it

  1143. would.

1144. This is not just spiritual, this is physical too.

1145. So the healing that is going to have to happen in our church is

1146. going to have to be a physical healing of the limbic system, because

1147. it's much deeper than a volunteer team.

1148. It's much deeper than going to a group every two weeks.

1149. It's much deeper than attending church every Sunday.

1150. The Lord's been telling me more and More, what we're seeing

1151. in the church is a trauma response, not spiritual discernment.

1152. But I got good news for you.

  1153. Jesus is here.

1154. In Ezekiel, chapter 36, verse 26, he said, I will give you a new

    Ezekiel 36:26

  1155. thermostat.

1156. I will give you a new heart, and I will put within you and I will

1157. remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of

  1158. flesh.

1159. What do thermostats do when they work properly?

1160. They diagnose what temperature the room actually is.

1161. And then they change it.

1162. Do y' all feel me?

1163. So what begins to happen when God fix your heart is you get real

  1164. discernment about what's happening.

1165. But then instead of being victimized by the 40 degree weather,

1166. you actually begin to turn up the heat.

1167. And you say, I don't have to live like this because I can change

  1168. the atmosphere.

1169. So when people ask me, oh, New York looks like such a dangerous

  1170. place,.

1171. Aren't you gonna move New York?

  1172. No, because I'm healed.

1173. I have a heart of flesh and God has restored me.

1174. And I got a group of people that have the fire of the Holy Spirit.

1175. And we're changing the atmosphere on Long Island.

1176. We're changing the atmosphere in New York City, we're changing

1177. the atmosphere in Miami because we're healed.

1178. We are not victims of the environment.

1179. We shift the climate of the environment.

  1180. Are you ready?

1181. I said, are you ready?

1182. Do you want to be healed?

  1183. Come on.

1184. I'm gonna ask you again.

1185. Do you want to be healed?

1186. Let's go back to Bethesda one last time.

1187. After 38 years, Jesus gives him this three part command.

  1188. Stand up.

  1189. Everybody say stand up.

  1190. Pick up your mat.

1191. Everybody say, pick up your mat.

  1192. And then walk.

  1193. Everybody say walk.

  1194. Stand up.

1195. Take the posture of the healed.

1196. Stop lying in your wound.

  1197. Own your healing.

1198. Even before you fully heal it, you feel it.

  1199. He will heal it.

1200. Before you feel it, he will heal it.

1201. Act like you're healed even if you don't feel.

  1202. He told.

1203. He didn't say, do you, do you feel better?

1204. Do you feel like getting involved again?

1205. Do you feel like covenanting again?

1206. Do you feel like you're ready?

1207. He didn't ask him if he felt ready.

1208. He said, if you get up, you are ready.

1209. Matter of fact, getting up makes you ready.

  1210. Getting up, hit.

1211. The healing is in the motion of getting up.

1212. The healing happens when you get up.

1213. Some people I wait till I feel healed to get up.

1214. You will get healed when you get up.

  1215. You gotta flip it.

  1216. You gotta flip it.

1217. Stop laying in your wound.

1218. Own Your healing even before you feel it.

1219. So the first one is stand up.

  1220. Somebody shout, stand up.

  1221. Stand up.

  1222. Stand up, church.

  1223. Stand up.

  1224. We gotta stand.

  1225. Having done all, stand.

1226. Having done all, stand and stand still.

1227. Stand still and see that I am God.

1228. You don't know God until you.

  1229. You stand up.

1230. You can't see who he is until you stand up.

1231. You won't know him laying down, but you'll know who he is when

  1232. you stand up.

  1233. I'm taking a stand.

1234. I'm standing up in the White House.

1235. I'm standing up in Manhattan.

1236. I'm standing up on Long Island.

  1237. I'm standing up.

1238. Stand still and know that I am God.

1239. We got to take a stand.

  1240. Pick up your mat.

  1241. I love this part.

  1242. Pick up your mat.

1243. He didn't say, leave your mat behind.

1244. Because for most of us, that's how we would have understood it.

  1245. Leave your map.

  1246. Oh, I've healed you.

  1247. Leave your mat behind.

1248. What he said was, was, pick up your mat.

1249. Because the mat is the evidence of your weakness.

  1250. That becomes your story.

1251. And now you're gonna carry a record.

1252. Of what God could do everywhere you go.

  1253. God.

1254. Some of you said, God, take my past away.

1255. He said, pick your past up.

  1256. It's become a testimony.

1257. Walk around with your path.

  1258. It's not a trigger.

  1259. It's my testimony.

  1260. It's not a trigger.

1261. This is the evidence of my weakness.

1262. This is the evidence of my weakness.

1263. I used to destroy churches.

  1264. Now I plant them.

1265. I used to cause division.

  1266. Now I cause unity.

1267. I used to want to be divorced.

  1268. I'm celebrating 20 years of marriage.

1269. Somebody pick up your mat.

  1270. Pick it up.

  1271. Don't leave it behind.

  1272. Pick it up.

1273. Used to be my security blanket, but now it became a banner.

1274. Jehovah, Niecy, Lord over my victory.

  1275. It's a banner.

1276. Used to be my security blanket.

1277. Now it's my praise flag.

1278. What would happen if your map became a praise flag?

  1279. Used to be depressed.

1280. Used to be on all kinds of medication.

  1281. But whom?

  1282. The sunset.

  1283. Oh, come on.

  1284. Oh, yeah.

1285. I used to lay on this, and now it's a banner over my life.

1286. Y' all got me wore out today.

  1287. What he say?

  1288. Stand up.

  1289. Pick up your mat.

  1290. What's the last one?

  1291. What's the last one?

  1292. Walk.

1293. And the just shall walk by faith.

1294. I don't know how it is gonna work out.

  1295. I don't know what's gonna happen, but I'm walking.

  1296. I'm walking.

1297. I never put my trust in man anyways.

1298. My trust was in him.

  1299. Oh, yeah.

  1300. Mike's imperfect.

  1301. I ain't gonna join a perfect church.

1302. But I'm walking by faith.

  1303. Faith, oh, yeah.

  1304. I'm in a relationship.

  1305. Oh, yeah.

1306. I'm gonna get engaged and get married.

  1307. Oh, yeah.

1308. But I'm walking by faith now.

  1309. I'm walking by faith.

  1310. I'm owning my mistakes.

  1311. I'm owning my trauma.

  1312. I'm owning my stuff.

1313. But, God, I'm not gonna blame them.

1314. I didn't need to get in the pool.

1315. I didn't need anybody to drag me in the pool.

1316. I heard your voice, and you are the healer.

  1317. You are the promoter.

  1318. You are the restorer.

  1319. You are the one.

1320. You're the wheel in the middle of the wheel.

1321. You're the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end.

  1322. Your El Shad.

  1323. You're Elohim.

  1324. You're Rafa.

1325. You are whatever I need.

  1326. God.

1327. You were there with me in Bethesda.

1328. You're gonna be with me in Brooklyn.

1329. You were there with me at Bethesda.

1330. You're gonna be there in Miami.

  1331. I trust you, God.

1332. Somebody shouted, I trust you, God.

  1333. I trust you, God.

1334. That's what this comes down to.

1335. He said, upon this rock, I will build my church, and not even

1336. the gates of hell will prevail against it.

1337. Do you trust that he will do what he said?

1338. I don't need to gossip because I trust God.

1339. I don't need to control with Jezebel and Ahab because I trust

  1340. God.

1341. I don't need to make it happen because I trust God.

1342. Pick up your mat and walk.

  1343. So.

  1344. So.

1345. I want to pray for you.

1346. Across all of our campuses, I want to pray for you.

1347. Everybody watching online right now.

1348. And I'm going to pray a weird prayer.

1349. I'm not going to pray that you're delivered from demons, even

1350. though you may need that.

  1351. Get to our deliverance.

  1352. Zoom.

1353. Mama Moses will cast them out over Zoom.

1354. She got a whole team.

1355. She's bringing hundreds of people through Deliverance every

  1356. month.

1357. But I want to pray.

1358. This is what the Lord told me.

1359. Pray for their limbic system, pray for their brains.

1360. Pray that a healing takes place.

1361. See, there's deliverance and then there's healing.

1362. And Jesus gave healing where healing was needed and deliverance

  1363. where deliverance was needed.

1364. And some of you are living in trauma responses.

1365. And that's why I don't get mad at you.

1366. That's why I'm not angry, because I learned now I'm not going

  1367. to participate in this.

  1368. That's you.

1369. That's between you and Jesus.

  1370. Stop looking at humanity.

1371. Start looking at his beauty and Then say yes to his healing in

  1372. this moment.

1373. And I believe you can walk out.

1374. And this is the miracle of salvation.

1375. This is the spirit of adoption.

1376. I believe that you can become like a child again.

1377. I'll be honest with you.

1378. I've had so many dark days pastoring this church.

1379. People I never thought would knife me, knife me.

1380. People I thought were with me, talking about me, people who watched

1381. me and know who I am as a man act like I'm somebody else very hard.

1382. And the Lord had brought me through a lot of that.

1383. But you know what has encouraged me the most throughout

1384. the years is having two little girls that for 10 years straight

1385. have woken up every Sunday morning begging, can we go to church

  1386. early?

1387. Because to children without trauma, to children without wounds,

1388. getting to V1 church every week was the highlight of their entire

1389. week and every single Sunday.

1390. You know, Bella was little when we first moved here.

  1391. She's 19 now.

  1392. Everly's 12 now.

1393. She was literally just two years old when we moved here.

1394. Could barely talk every single Sunday.

1395. It's always been the only day they wake up early.

1396. It's been the only day that they could get dressed without me

1397. asking, because they would say, I can't wait to get to church.

1398. And the Lord would speak to me and say, mike, that's who we are

  1399. without trauma.

1400. So we're not going to leave our trauma.

1401. We're going to grab our mat and walk and say, I once was broken.

  1402. I once was this.

1403. But now the Lord has healed me, and now I can be excited again.

1404. So I want to speak to your broken expectations.

1405. I want to speak to single people who have cursed their future

1406. relationship by saying, I'm never going to meet anybody.

1407. I want to speak to married people who just think I'm going to

1408. have to silently suffer in this marriage because it can never

  1409. be good.

1410. I believe that with Julie 20 years ago.

1411. And now, I'll be honest with you, our marriage is getting better

  1412. every day.

  1413. It blows my mind.

1414. It blows my mind that you can have a lifetime love affair, even

  1415. know it was possible.

1416. So the Lord said, mike, you can become childlike again, But I'm

1417. not asking you to pretend your past never happened.

1418. I'm asking you to allow me to turn it into a testimony.

1419. So right now, I want to pray that your mat turns into a testimony.

1420. I want you to pray with me right now.

1421. And I. I can't lay hands on everybody at all seven campuses,

1422. but I want to pray for you as your pastor, because I believe there's

1423. a special prayer that Happens right now about relationships, about

1424. business, about church, whatever this thing is, it's the

  1425. heart being shattered.

1426. So if you just close your eyes to remove all your distractions,

1427. I want to have a private moment.

1428. If you're like, lord, I need my heart healed, I need restoration.

1429. Would you just lift your hand and show me as a sign so I know,

1430. okay, just put your hands down.

1431. I'm just going to tell on Everybody that was 100% of the church.

1432. So I guess we're all about to go to the next level together.

1433. We go from glory to glory.

  1434. It's.

1435. I'm telling you, I feel this right now.

1436. So if you want to lift your hands towards heaven, I want to pray

1437. and then I want, I want the team to lead us in worship because

1438. there's going to be something that happens.

1439. And I know this sounds crazy, but if your brain could change over

1440. time, I believe it can be changed back right now.

1441. If your brain could be shattered, if your heart can be broken,

  1442. it can be healed.

1443. So I want to pray right now as everybody is just in this posture

  1444. of surrender.

1445. Father, I thank you for what you are doing in V1 church, church

1446. right now through every single person watching online in homes,

1447. everybody in rooms at a campus.

1448. Lord, I pray that as they are.

1449. At the pool of Bethesda, they haven't.

1450. Made up in their mind how it's going to go.

1451. But Lord, you, you are right in.

1452. Front of us and you're disrupting our plans, you're disrupting

  1453. our way of thinking.

1454. And you're saying, do you want to be healed?

1455. And Lord, they are crying out, I don't want to live like this.

1456. This jaded and skeptical and mean hearted.

1457. I don't want to live like this negative.

  1458. I don't want to be a broken thermostat.

1459. I want to change the atmosphere.

1460. I want to be childlike.

1461. I want to have a testimony, not a trigger.

1462. So Lord, I ask you now, heal their brain, heal their mind, heal

  1463. their heart.

1464. God now from the abuse of their past, from the trauma that

  1465. they went through.

1466. And Lord, I thank you that your healing is a deep and complete

1467. healing of every broken piece in Jesus name I say let it be so.

  1468. Amen.

1469. Come on church, sing it across every location.

  1470. Jesus be the name.

1471. Only you're getting the glory from this Jesus.

  1472. Jesus be the name.

  1473. Sam.
