Well, I'm gonna uh go into my message today.

I'm gonna be reading out of 1 Corinthians chapter 14, verse 1 to 5.

1 Corinthians 14:1–5

Paul is writing to the church in Corinth, and he says this he says, Pursue love, desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.

For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men, but to God, for no one understands him.

I think they're not supposed to be drilling on a Sunday.

I don't maybe Nicole, see if you can send someone scary up there to tell them to stop.

Okay, where was that?

But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men.

He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.

I wish you all spoke with tongues, but even more that you prophesy.

So, like I said, Paul is writing to this church in Corinth, and he first and foremost tells the church to pursue love.

The word pursue here is from the Greek word dioquite, and in its uh literal translation, literal meaning, it means chase after, run after, apprehend, arrest love.

So he's saying pursue love, and then he says desire gifts.

He doesn't say it the other way around, it's not pursue gifts and desire love.

Love must be our primary pursuit and motivation, it must be what drives us as believers, and everything else, our desire for the gifts must be an overflow of our pursuit of love.

Why do I want the gifts?

Why do I want to move in the gifts of healing and prophecy and uh words of knowledge?

Because the gifts create avenues for us to express or to reveal the love of God to those who are in our world.

Amen.

So, in this passage, another thing that he does is he highlights the gifts of tongues and prophecy.

Uh, these are important gifts, uh, as he's saying, for the believers and the body, but he gives a higher value to the importance of the gift of prophecy.

So he says in uh verse 1, pursue love, desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.

And then he goes on in verse 5 again.

He says, I wish all of you spoke in tongues, but even more that you prophesy.

He amplified, says it like this.

Now I wish that you might all speak in tongues, but more especially I want you to prophesy.

I want you all to function in this gift of prophecy, because he says prophecy edifies, exhorts, brings comfort to men, and also builds the church.

And I do believe that is the heart of God for us as believers, that we function in this gift of prophecy, because one of the gifts that flows, as described in scripture, it flows from the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, as highlighted in Joel chapter 2, and later again in Acts chapter 2 is the gift of prophecy.

In Acts chapter 2, verse 17, it says, And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my spirit on all flesh.

Acts 2:17

Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams, and on my men servants and my maidservants I will pour out my spirit in those days, and they shall prophesy.

So prophesying is a byproduct of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

So Paul says in verse 31, 1 Corinthians 14, verse 31, he says this, for you all can prophesy one by one, that all may learn and all may be encouraged.

So he says, For you can the word there is dunashted, the Greek word that means you have the ability, the power, the capacity to prophesy one by one, and he says, You all.

All basically is means everyone, everyone can do it.

So, why does Paul say that we all have this capacity to prophesy?

Basically, saying that prophetic speech is not restricted to a few, that we all have the capacity to function in it because ultimately moving in the gifts of the spirit and the capacity to prophesy is not in the title that we carry, it is because of the person that we carry, and that person is the Holy Spirit.

It is the gifts of the Spirit flowing through you, his gifts, and you are that vessel through which he is manifesting that gifts so that the heart of God and the love of the Father can be revealed through your life.

Now, before I open up a can of worms, let me qualify and clarify.

We can all prophesy, but we are not all prophets.

Okay, don't go change your title now.

I am prophet hurling, no longer just hurling, prophet hurlin, miss prophet hurling.

So we can all prophesy, but we are not all prophets.

The prophet is someone whose primary gifting or grace or calling is to prophesy, to release God's Rhema word for the nations, for the people.

Like last week we had Pastor Jim, he is a prophet, his primary gifting is the prophetic.

So when he ministers, he ministers prophetically.

So he speaks very accurately into the lives and future of God's people, whoever comes to him.

He God gives him her word.

That is his primarily gifting.

So let me put it this way: we all can run, but we are not all runners.

Right?

And you and you and you know the difference.

Uh a runner treats running different.

Running to a runner is their lifestyle.

They wake up, everything they eat, they everything that they do, their training, how they go through their day is designed in such a way to enhance or facilitate their capacity to run.

But yet we all can run.

A runner runs for a living.

But most of us here, we don't run for a living.

We can run to save our lives if you're chased by a dog or a cockroach.

But it's different how we manifest this running capacity that we all have.

Uh, we don't we do it in a different way, we manifest it differently once in a while.

When the circumstances require, you can take off running, you can become husband bull for a short while.

So sometimes when the circumstances require, the Holy Spirit will release a prophetic utterance through you for someone else as he sees fits.

So we can all prophesy, but we are not all prophets.

But today I want to talk about a dimension under this umbrella of the prophetic that we all are able to function in, and I'll get to that shortly.

But uh, before that, to understand that, let me explain what prophecy means to the average believer, to the non-prophet prophet, right?

The first mention of the term prophet, I always like to look at the first mention of terms in the Bible because, like I mentioned many times, this is not the first mention of this for you, but I mentioned this many times.

Uh every time something or some concept or some word is mentioned for the first time in the scripture, in that first mention are the fundamental, foundational principles of that concept or that word.

So the first mention for the term prophet is actually in Genesis chapter 20, verse 7.

So this is in the life and the journey of Abraham.

Abraham goes to this land of Gerah, you know, he's traveling with his with his crew, he goes to the land of Gerah, and the land of Gerah was filled with uh unbelievers, people whom he he assumed were a godless and evil people.

So Abraham had a problem.

His wife was very beautiful.

Most men would not find that to be a problem, but Abraham saw that as an issue.

He says, Because she's so beautiful, these godless people of this land might kill me so that they could have her.

So he makes this deal with Sarah, his wife, and says to Sarah, Sarah, listen, if anyone asks you who how are we related, don't say that you're my wife.

Tell them that you're my sister.

And Sarah agrees.

And because he does that, because he indulges in this lie out of fear, um, the the king of Garah, Abimelech, uh takes Sarah to his tent and and wants her.

Because, hey, Matcha, I saw Abram, Matcha.

Sister, very cute.

I'm the king, I'll give you whatever you want.

Can you can, can, can, can.

Take and go.

Okay.

So Abraham does that.

So he now he's she's in the in the tent with Abimelech, but uh God doesn't allow him to touch Sarah.

And while Abimelech is asleep, God comes to Sarah and says, How dare you take this man's wife?

If you do this, if you keep her, this is gonna happen to you, this is gonna happen to your people.

I'm gonna wipe all of y'all out.

So it says in uh verse 6, and God said to him in a dream, Yes, I so of course Abimelech then in uh in this uh vision he explains to God, it's not my fault.

I didn't do anything.

He it's he told me it's his sister, so there's nothing illegal from my perspective, it's all good.

I didn't do this out of evil intent, you know.

There was no uh wrong in my heart in doing this.

So God said to him, Yes, I know that you did this in the integrity of your heart.

Because of that, I withheld you from sinning against me, I did not let you touch her.

Now, therefore, restore the man's wife, for he is a prophet, and he will pray for you, and you shall live.

So that is the first time the word prophet is used in the Bible, and uh, the original Hebrew word used here is one that all of us Malaysians should be familiar with.

It is the Hebrew word Nabi, right?

So Nabi in the Hebrew within this context translates to mean a chosen authorized spokesperson for God.

So God is basically saying, This guy is my spokesman, he's one that communes with me and communes for me, he is my prophet.

So God's saying this is a spokesman for God, and because of that, he will pray for you and you will live.

And you see this meaning later confirmed again in the book of Exodus.

God wants Moses to speak to Pharaoh on his behalf to free the children of Israel from slavery.

Moses doesn't have the confidence, he comes up with all kinds of excuses as to why he can't do it, why he's not the right guy, why he's got all these impediments, and he's he just it's just not me, God.

You know, it's always amusing when people think they know better than God, right?

And I I've I've spoken to people like that from our church, they think they know better than God.

So it says Moses argued with the Lord, Exodus 6 26, saying, I can't do it, I'm such a clumsy speaker.

Why should Pharaoh listen to me?

Then the Lord said to Moses in uh chapter 7, verse 1, Pay close attention to this, I will make you seem like a god to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet.

Tell Aaron everything I command you, and Aaron must command Pharaoh to let the people of Israel leave his country.

So he says, Okay, okay, since you know I can't seem to convince you otherwise.

Okay, never mind.

You will stand in my place, you will be like a god to Pharaoh.

You will tell Aaron what to say.

Aaron will be your prophet, or the word there is your spokesman to Pharaoh.

So, what I tell you, you tell Aaron, and Aaron will speak to Pharaoh on your behalf.

Aaron will be your prophet, he will be your voice, he will share what you reveal to him.

And basically, foundationally, that is in essence what a prophet is.

A prophet is a spokesperson, and within the context of our Christian faith, a prophet is a spokes, a spokesperson for God.

He or she hears and knows what God is saying for a particular situation or for a particular person and releases God's word into that person's life or circumstances.

And I want to say this by that definition, uh, there is a dimension of prophecy that we all can and must function in.

Because in the new covenant, we are all called to be God's spokesperson on the earth.

Wherever we are placed, wherever we are sent, whether it's in our families, into our workplaces, whatever circumstances, whenever you speak God's word into a situation, you are being a spokesperson for God, you are functioning in a prophetic capacity.

That's why Paul says, I want all of you to prophesy.

So to function as God's spokesperson, you need two things.

One is you need to know what God is saying, and you need to be a channel of what God is saying.

And based on those two requirements, all believers here should qualify because we all know what God is saying.

At least we all know the written will and the word of God, and we all have the capacity to speak God's will and God's word into the lives, into situations, into people's lives.

You know, some of us are like, I don't know, but how I do, how I don't know what God is saying.

Well, it then it's about time you you open your Bible and read it.

That's one way we know what God is saying, and that's one way we are able to be his voice into the circumstances of that are surrounding us, and it's not that complicated, honestly, when you think about it.

You know, you know what God's will is for that cousin that's living far from God, you know what God's heart is for that lost family member, for that you know what God's will is for that friend that's heartbroken, for that colleague that's far from God.

You know what Jesus would want to say to this person.

Some things you don't have to think so much about it.

The person is is is sad, you know, it's heartbroken, you know, God, what do you want to say to this person?

What do you want to say?

You know, you know, in your heart of hearts, you know what God wants to say to this person, right?

You know what God's will is for that friend or that family member who's walking in bitterness and unforgiveness, and you can be God's spokesperson to that person, and you can get it right simply because you have his revealed will for the circumstances in your hands, in your phones, 24-7, right within your reach, and we hardly read it, we hardly spend time with it, and that is why the devil wants to keep you away from God's word.

Because as long as you don't know what God's word is saying, you will never function as his spokesman to people's lives.

You'll think that's not for me, that's for that pastor, that leader, that is for that prophet, that's not for me.

No, it starts with you.

That is why God put you there in the first place.

That is why you're facing those circumstances in the first place.

That is why these people are suddenly coming to you and talking to you about all that they're going through in the first place.

God placed you there to be his vessel.

Amen.

You know, everybody wants to hear from God, but nobody wants to read the word.

Amen.

Don't say an amen if that's you.

You know, sometimes people will come come to me and say stuff like, you know, I I went to this prophet, and he and he told me, you know, my situation's gonna get better, that the whole of the enemy over my life is broken.

He told me that Jesus loves me, that I'm precious to his side.

I'm like, dude, he just told you what's already revealed in God's word for you.

You would have known all that if you just read his word.

You could have prophesied that yourself into your life and into your future.

You didn't need to wait for some moment, some special meeting, and get a prophet to say what is already obvious, what is foundational, what is basic, and already revealed to you in the word of God.

2 Timothy chapter 3, verse 16 says, All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, instruction in righteousness that the man or woman of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

So everything that you need to function in life in every situation is already revealed to you through scripture, and God primarily speaks through his revealed word, which is the scriptures.

The most direction I ever got from God was through the word of God.

Not a prophet came to me and said this or said that, but it was by reading God's word.

Now, because we have access to God's written word, every time we declare God's written word over or into a circumstance, we are making a prophetic declaration.

And another reason we can prophesy or function as God's spokesman is because we have access to God's spirit.

God has given us the capacity to know his voice because we have God's Spirit living on the inside of us, he's not just taking a nap on the inside of you, he's constantly communing with you, and God has made us his temple.

Paul says, We are now the temple of the Holy Spirit.

God lives in us.

In the Old Testament, people did not have the indwelling spirit, so the ability to prophesy lay with God's chosen few people.

Every time people wanted to know what God wanted to say or what God's will was, they had to find the prophet because only the prophet could hear from God.

Not everyone had access to the voice of God, and then you'd have certain situations where where the spirit would descend on one or two people and they would prophesy.

And you can see that in 1 Samuel chapter 10, verse 9.

1 Samuel 10:9

It says, As Saul turned and started to leave, God gave him a new heart, and all Samuel's signs were fulfilled that day.

When Saul and his servant arrived at Gibeah, they saw a group of prophets coming towards them.

Then the spirit of God came powerfully upon Saul, and he too began to prophesy.

When those who knew Saul heard about it, they exclaimed, What is even Saul a prophet?

How did the son of Kish become a prophet?

So the Spirit of God came upon Saul, and what was the natural thing that happens out of that?

The byproduct of that Saul began to prophesy.

But it was a temporary thing because when the spirit lifted, it stopped.

So the outcome of them being filled with the spirit or the spirit coming upon them is they spoke for God, they prophesied.

But back then the spirit could not stay on men.

But then God spoke to people about a coming time, which I shared in the scriptures of the prophet Joel.

And there will come to pass a time where I will pour out my spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters will prophesy, and confirmed in Acts chapter 2.

Acts 2 · chapter mention

He says that.

Future time, the Holy Spirit is not gonna just be on one or two people.

I'm gonna pour out my spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters will prophesy.

Your maidservants and your men servants they will prophesy, meaning they will all have the capacity to hear from God and release the word of God through their life.

They will all have the capacity to be vessels of the will and the purposes and the heart and the voice of God into the world.

Today, for you and I, the Holy Spirit is not a temporary resident, He is a permanent resident in the life of a believer.

So we all have the capacity to commune with Him.

The Bible says, In this day and age, under the new covenant, we are led by the Spirit of God.

1 Corinthians chapter 2, verse 9 to 12.

1 Corinthians 2:9–12

It says, For it is written, I has not seen, nor ear has heard, nor have entered the heart of men the things that God has prepared for those who love him.

Right?

It says we don't know what God has prepared for those who love him, but it doesn't stop there.

Sometimes we read that scripture, no eye has seen, no year said.

We so we don't know what God has in store.

Read the next verse.

But God has revealed them to us how through his spirit.

For the spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

So he says, Yes, no eye has seen, no year has known, but now in this day and age, God has revealed it to us by his spirit.

John chapter 10, verse 27, Jesus says, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

John 10:27

I like how the amplified says it.

The sheep that are mine hear, not just here, and are listening.

That means there is active conversation going on.

They not just hear, they hear and they are listening to my voice.

And let me tell you, all of us have the capacity to hear the voice of God.

But I think sometimes we kind of limit it to an audible voice.

God speaks to different people differently.

Some of you may get a vision, some of you may get a feeling, some of you it may feel like your own thoughts.

You know how many times when after something happens, people will say, I knew it, I knew this was going to happen.

Then why did you do it, people will say, you know, I had a feeling, I kind of knew I shouldn't have gone down this road.

I had a bad feeling in my stomach.

Listen, that is the Holy Spirit prompting you, revealing to you his voice.

And listen, the more you listen to it, the more you obey, the more you walk in obedience.

Listen, some of you are going out with partners, the younger ones, the old ones, married ones, too late.

She heard God's voice before you got married.

So, some of you at your partners now, and you know, you have the feeling that there's something not right about this person.

The red flags, we like to call it.

Don't ignore those things.

That is the Holy Spirit revealing stuff for you.

You know, they you have the tendency to kind of find, ignore all the red flags.

See one green flag there.

No, but you see it there.

But he likes Christian songs, but she dresses up like Pastor Devi.

So we all have that prompting.

And don't feel bad if you cannot feel, you know, I don't feel anything, I don't hear.

It is something that develops, it is a capacity and a strength and an ability that we grow in and we develop as we journey with Jesus through life.

The more you sow into your relationship with God, with the Holy Spirit, the more you spend time with his word, and then the more sensitive you become to his voice, and the more you obey and listen to his voice, the more you are able to clearly identify when he's speaking to you, what he's saying in every circumstance.

And as our ministry, our intimacy with God develops, sometimes God will entrust us with his word for someone else.

And as you step out and release that word, and I know most of you have done that, you know.

I have people come up to me all the time.

Say, Pastor, as I spring, I felt the Lord show me this for you, for the church.

I felt the Lord say this, and let me tell you, 95% of the time it is accurate, 100% accurate.

They just get a feeling, they don't come and say, just say the Lord, Pastor Clarence.

I felt the Lord be humble in delivering the word.

Yeah, even when I release a word over someone, I say, I feel, I think the Lord is saying this for you.

I feel the Lord is saying this for you.

I could be wrong.

If it's wrong, just throw it, put it in the back burner.

If it's right, hold on to it and believe.

Yeah, and as you keep doing it, you become more sensitive to his voice.

Obedience will kind of grow the gifting, and it always starts in faith, right?

You step out in faith, don't wait for that burning bush moment, the Lord is speaking, and then okay, then I'm gonna go and no, but many times it's just a small prompting in your spirit, yeah.

So that is something that we develop as we grow in our walk with God.

But here is something that we can all do now.

How you can start growing and walking in this gift of the prophetic.

In fact, this is not a gift, this is just something we all have the capacity to.

We are going back to what I mentioned earlier: prophetic declarations where you're speaking over circumstances what you know the Lord has already revealed through his revealed word.

And I'm gonna look at Ezekiel chapter 37, verse 1 to 14.

And this is in its context a prophecy about Israel and God's plan and will for the nation that has already come to pass.

But in this passage are some foundational principles for all of us to glean from and learn about prophetic declarations, what it is, and the potential of its power in our world.

So Ezekiel chapter 37, verse 1.

Ezekiel 37:1

So Ezekiel is now having this vision, and he says, The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley, and it was full of dry bones, and he caused me to pass by them all around.

And behold, there were very many in the open valley, and indeed they were dry.

So God takes gives Ezekiel this vision, takes him on this journey of sorts, and he sets him down in this valley filled with dry bones.

So a valley always talks about a hopeless place, a low place in life, a dead place.

And this wasn't just a low place, it wasn't just a valley, it was a valley filled with very dry bones.

So it was a place that was filled with death, filled with hopelessness.

You know, sometimes we will go through seasons in lives where we feel like we are journeying through a valley where things don't seem to be going the way you want it to, and sometimes it's so hopeless, it feels like a valley of dry bones filled with death and hopelessness.

But note it says God set him down in the midst of the valley.

Sometimes God allows you to go through the valley, God leads you through the valley.

You're not here because maybe maybe some of you and your valley because of mistakes of your own making, but sometimes God allows you to go through valley seasons in your life.

So God put Ezekiel in the midst of a valley.

God brought him there not to frustrate him so that he could just see, oh, hopeless, I cannot, I don't know what's gonna happen.

Daila, you know.

God places him in the valley so that God would have a vessel in the valley through whom he could bring change into the circumstances that are in the valley.

Ezekiel was brought to the valley not just to face the problem, but he was brought to the valley as God's solution to the problems, as the channel through which the word of God could be prophetically released into this dead, dry, low place, so that the power of God's word could bring transformation and change.

You know, sometimes we look around us and we're like, Why did God bring me to this place?

Why am I here?

We look at the circumstances.

Why am I in these circumstances?

Why am I facing this thing?

Why am I in this company?

Why am I in this hopeless situation?

Why am I going through this phase in life?

And I want to challenge you this morning to shift your perspective.

You are not part of the problem, you are part of God's solution to the problem.

God put you there so that you can be a vessel of God's power, God's grace, and God's word, so that you can be a channel through which He could influence and transform and change the valley.

Then it says in verse 3 God asked him this question Can these bones live?

Son of man, can these bones live?

Ezekiel, do you think these circumstances, this situation can change?

And to some of us it could be, can this miracle happen?

Can the miraculous happen and transform this hopeless situation that I'm facing in my life?

Can this financial situation that is before me be transformed and changed?

Can this health diagnosis over my life be transformed and changed?

Can this relationship situation improve, get better?

Can things for my life and my future change?

God looks to Ezekiel, he's with him in the valley, he says, Do you think the situation can change?

And that's the question we need to ask ourselves right now.

And listen, when God asks a question, he's not asking a question because he does not know the answer or because he needs our input.

He asks the question so that we know what can and cannot be done.

And many times our answer reveals our faith.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Where is your faith right now?

In the midst of your problem, in the midst of the circumstance, in the midst of the valley.

What does your faith tell you about the situation before you?

An Ezekiel answer, the good Christian answer, the standard Christian answer.

Oh Lord God, you know that you know the answer we all give.

God knows.

God knows if the situation will ever change, God knows if things will get better, God knows if this relationship will get better, God knows if that person will transform, God knows if my life will ever change.

God knows.

Very sounds like a very good Christian answer, but that's not how God wants us to face the problem that is before us.

We cannot go and inshallah before everything that is before us.

Yeah, and God reveals the solution to the problem.

God says, Here's how you will see your circumstances change.

He says in verse 4, Prophesy, he said, He said to me, Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, Oh dry bones, hear my positive confession, hear what my doctor said, hear what my banker said, hear what my grandmother, my grandfather said, heard what my what hear what my wife said.

Who's the man to say that Steven?

I think you should hear what your wife said.

Hear what my husband says, no, he says, say to the bones, he says, Prophesy to them and say to them, Hear the word of the Lord.

That is the key.

That's the point I wanted to get through.

Basically, this is how we're gonna see things change.

This is foundational, this is how it starts.

This is how you and I can tap into the power of prophecy.

And God says to him, Prophesy to these bones and say to them, Oh, dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.

And uh, so the circumstances say to the circumstances or to the problem what God is saying.

Be God's spokesperson into your problem, be God's mouthpiece.

Most of us are prophets and spokesperson for our problems.

We go to God and tell us this is what the problem says, but God is saying, No, say to the problem, this is what the word of the Lord says, Amen.

So, what is the word of the Lord saying about your valley season?

How many of you know what the word of the Lord is saying?

If you don't know, it's time you spend time finding out what he's saying about that unique situation that you are going through, and every time you face it, speak into it what the word of the Lord says.

Listen, God's word in your mouth is still God's word.

Yeah, and it's interesting, right?

Because Ezekiel is there, God is with him, the problem is there.

Most of us would be in Ezekiel's position telling God do something, God speak to the problem, God invade the situation, God transform the situation, right?

Because God is there, it's his word.

God do something, but God is with Ezekiel.

The problem before God looks to Ezekiel and says, You do something.

You say to the problem, this is what the word of the Lord is saying.

Right?

And that is so important for us to get.

Some of us are praying for God to come and do things that He's already done, that is already accomplished for you.

Some of you are waiting for promises that are already yours.

Now it's time to proclaim and declare and prophesy into your world, into your circumstances.

You're waiting for God to do something, God's waiting for you to step up in faith and start declaring into the situation.

This is what the word of the Lord says, Amen.

So thus says the Lord.

Okay, wait, let me go up, go ahead.

So it says in verse 5, Thus says the Lord God to these bones, surely I'll cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.

I'll put sinews on you, bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin, and put breath on you, and you shall live.

Then you shall know that I am the Lord.

So he says, You do it, you prophesy to these bones.

Then he said, Then the Ezekiel speaks to the bones.

He says, Oh, dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.

That's the Lord says to these.

Then he starts to speak.

So don't speak to God like I said about your bones.

Speak to your bones about God.

In fact, in Matthew chapter 21, verse 21, it says, So surely I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you not only will do what was done to this fig tree, this was after Jesus cursed the fig tree.

Matthew 21:21

He said, But also if you say to this mountain, be removed and be cast into the sea, it will be done.

Again, he's saying, Speak to your mountain.

Don't speak to me about your mountain.

We need to step into that position of authority and declare the word of God into our mountain areas, into our valleys, into those dry bone areas of our lives.

Say, This is what the Lord says.

Then he he says, I prophesied as I was commanded, and as I prophesied, there was a noise, suddenly a rattling, and the bones came together bone to bone.

Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over, but there was no breath in them.

So things started to change.

There was a little bit of change, but still the problem wasn't solved.

There was still some development, but it doesn't they were still dead.

So does it stop there?

Oh my gosh, I did it.

Nothing happened.

Yeah, there was a little bit of change, but after that, all went back to normal.

It didn't really happen, you know.

Go again.

Then he says, Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man.

Say to the breath.

God is very specific.

Now the bones came together, but they still had no breath.

Now we say, now you prophesy to the breath.

Be very specific in your declarations, in your prophetic declarations.

Be specific.

Prophesy to the breath.

Prophesy, son of man.

Say to the breath, Thus says the Lord God, Come from the far winds, O breath, and breathe on this slain that they may live.

So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and they stood upon their feet, and exceedingly great armies.

How powerful is that?

The whole situation started to change as he prophesied into that valley.

And listen, I believe that is a dimension of prophecy, of the prophetic that we all can step into, regardless of what stage you are or what stage you are in your Christian development, in your journey with God, you can prophesy the word of the Lord into your situations because you know what God says.

If you don't know what God says about that particular situation that you're facing, start reading the word of God, the revealed word of God over your health.

What is the revealed word of God over your family situation?

What is the revealed word of God over your finances, over your future?

What is the revealed word of God over your relationships?

Start prophesying that a dry bone, a valley, a mountain are those things in your life that do not align with the word of God and the will of God for your life.

And sometimes God allows you to be in those situations so that you can see the power of his word through your life, so that you can grow in faith.

In the book of Exodus, you read about how God allowed some enemies to remain in the land of God's people.

Why?

He said, so that those who do not who did not experience battle may learn battle.

Sometimes God allows certain things to be in your inheritance so that you might know the power that is available to you in Christ Jesus.

You might know the authority that you have over your area of influence.

Do not accept everything that comes your way as ah, that's just lifeless, that's just my lot in life.

No, not every wall in your way is meant to remain there.

Some walls are meant for you to bring down in the name of Jesus.
