Scarcity Mindset || Which Mindset? Pt.3 || Pastro Diego Mesa

Welcome to the Lesse Podcast. Here at Lesse we seek the loss, teach

this week's message. Father, All we could say is that we really,

we really really love you, Lord, more than we love our jobs,

our iPhones, our followers, sex, toys, interest pleasures. Forgive us

of having competing love with something that we love more than you. Thank you

for these divine moments when you just come and invade our space and overwhelm us

and remind us how big you are and how much you really love us.

Thank you for Church, God, because sometimes these things can happen outside the

church. It's the corporate anointing. I bless the people today, God,

I bless the people today under your authority and under the promises of your word,

God, as the Old Testament priests would stand before the people and pronounce

blessings. I pray ahead of protection around you and your family and all that

you own, that no hurt, harm or danger shall come. Nydee in

the name of Jesus, Thank you for the bloodline that cannot be crossed by

any demon nor devil, no sickness nor disease, no accident or mishap in

Jesus name. Amen, you may be seated. I I could talk more,

but I can't right now. There'll be a time. Just catch it

in the spirit. There's something different. I'm scared. I'll just say it

because it's gonna go over some people. I'm scared where What's about where God's

taking me? And I'm scared because I can feel it, I can sense

it. I'm not the I don't know. So let's just go back.

We're gonna stand for the reading of God's word. We're gonna continue in this

series. Pastor Adam did a masterful job last week. He used the bathtub

illustration and I got a kick out of that. But we're gonna continue along

that line about an abundant mindset versus a scarcity mindset. And we're really today

going to talk a lot about the scarcity mindset. But here's what the Book

of Haggy Eyes says. You have planet now see watch the reality of this

in your personal life. See this. If this is true in society,

you have planeted much, but have harvested little. You've done a lot of

work, but you're not seeing a lot of fruit from it. You eat

at but never have enough to be satisfied. That's scarcity. You drink but

never have enough to be happy, that's scarcity. You put clothes on but

are never never have enough to get warm, that's scarcity. The wage earner

puts his wage into a bag with a hole in it, that's scarcity.

You may be seated. You know the nature of children most of the time

as they have a scarcity mentality. You know what I'm talking about with children

and grandchildren. In other words, you could have a friend come over to

see your child, or the sibling of a child, or a cousin of

the child, and all of a sudden, the one toy becomes the object

of covetousness and everybody wants the one Mario, everybody wants the one tales.

A few moments ago, everybody was happy you had your choice of all these

toys. Now of a sudden, you're fighting over the one sword. What

is that? A scarcity mentality that cannot appreciate what you once had or what

you did have a few moments ago, only to desire something else that someone

else has. It's a scarcity mentality that could take place when you see those

kids fighting over one another's toys. This scripture that we're reading today is talking

about the children of Israel that were in bondage to the Babylonians and now have

returned back to Jerusalem. For sixteen years. They've been back home, but

in those sixteen years they have all rebuilt their home. But in those sixteen

years, they did not rebuild the Temple of God that represents the presence of

God. And so that's what he's telling them is going on in their life.

They have miss priorities going on. He said, you didn't lack the

time, because if you lack the time, you would have never built your

personal home. But you don't have enough time for me nor the Kingdom of

God, but you got plenty of time for your personal agendas. Come on,

apply it in your life today. You don't lack resources. If you

lack money or resources, then why did you be able to buy your new

home or built your new home, and yet the church doesn't see any of

that money. Your priorities are wrong, He says. It's not that you

didn't have the capability or the ability because you built your personal homes, but

you have no capability or abilities to give into the Kingdom of God. He

says, you've got miss priorities, and because of that, you're living,

according to this scripture, an unfulfilled life, an unsatisfied life, and an

unhappy life. And so as we define what scarcity is just for a few

moments, scarcity is to believe that there's just not enough, just not enough.

Scarcity is to believe you're not enough. Now it turns inwardly once it's

outwardly. I don't believe there's enough homes to be built. I don't believe

there's enough jobs. I don't believe there's enough men. I don't believe there's

enough women. I don't believe there's enough. Well, that's a scarcity mentality

because somebody is prospering in this world today, somebody's getting a new car,

a new job, of promotion. But it's also a reflection of a scarcity

that you're not enough. I'm not smart enough, I'm not a good enough,

good looking enough, I'm not enough to measure up. I have fought

that scarcity mentality for many years in my life. The scarcity mentality also is

to believe that you don't deserve enough, self condemning, I don't deserve a

nice man like that. I don't deserve a nice car like that. I

don't deserve nice things like that to go on vacation. Let's say I don't

deserve a nice home. I also struggled for years. I bought less a

cheaper version of a car. I could afford the more expensive car, but

I was more consumed about what you thought of me. And the people that

I thought were that I was trying to plead aren't even hearing this church anymore.

So I bought the Toyota Camry just so that you wouldn't know, they

wouldn't talk about me. You know what, I'm trying to apply it in

your life today today, the scarcity mentality is to believe that you won't have

enough. I'm not gonna have enough retirement. I'm not gonna have enough strength

in the future. I'm not gonna have enough health in the future. I'm

not gonna have enough friends. Just to believe. But in Genesis seventeen is

an amazing scripture. When Abraham was ninety nine years old, how many of

you believe that's pretty old? Okay, he's incapable of having a child.

Sarah's ninety years old. Her womb is closed nobody has kids, and so

God's reminding them of their impossible situation and who he is. He appeared to

the Abraham and he said, I am Almighty God. This word album I

am Almighty God. In the Hebrew is a word called al shade. It

also means all sufficient. One or somebody knows what I'm about ready to say.

It means the God that is more than enough. I'm more than enough

than your barrenness. I'm more than enough than of your impotence, Abraham in

Sarah, I'm more than enough your impossibility or your odds, or what happened

to you. I am ol should die the God that is more than enough.

Let me give you a few quotes on scarcity today. Scarcity mentality measures

out life by the ounce. It always concludes that the needs outweigh the resources.

No, your scarcity mindset is keeping you poor in spite of your hard

work. You know, there was a there was a farmer, and he

lived on the outskirts of town, and he was as content as can be

with his hundred acres out there, and he was growing his own crop.

He was taking care of himself, and the city, much like many cities,

began to grow and the population began to come and expansion and new construction,

and it moved closer and closer and closer until developers were right on him.

And they came to him and said, sir, let us buy your

land. We'll give you whatever you want. We want your land for new

development and you can go somewhere. And he said, no, it's not

for sale. And so they didn't know anything else to do but to build

around him. Everybody was excited over the growth. The problem was is that

the city did not have enough money to financially sustain the growth that was taking

place, so they began to have to hike the rates of everything. So

electricity went up, and the water bill went up, and the gas bill

went up, and everything around it went up. So the farmer went into

town, isn't some people to see some old people, And they had a

conversation with him and said, are you feeling the effects of the scarcity taking

place? He said, no, I'm doing fine. I mean, aren't

you cooking? Now? I'm doing fine. Aren't you work? Nah,

I'm doing fine, he says, because my water bill's not gone up,

because I have my own wow, And so I have a different source of

my water than you do. See that wind meal out there that gives me

electricity. I'm hooked up to a different source. So I'm doing fine.

I've run my line. I have my own gas that comes up and feeds

my problems. My cattle and my crops take care of me because I have

a different in my life than you guys have in your life. And that's

the difference. Our source is Jesus and the Kingdom of God. And I've

come that you might have life and have it in abundance or more abundantly.

He's our source. Now my job, not my check, not my boss,

not who's in government. God is the source of my life. And

older people, I think, know this because they've lived longer through turmoils and

tragedies and have learned. But young people need to learn this lesson. They

need to learn that lesson strongly. That your friends and your children, God

bless them, and your your young children or your spouse, they're not your

source. God has to be your source, because God forbid. Sometimes these

things get shut off and shut up. And if God's your source, you'll

be able to be sustained during those times of lack in your life. I'm

gonna region second kings, who will plant now here for the next twenty five

minutes? Look at scarcity. One of the wives of the Sons of the

Prophets cried out to Elishah, your servant, my husband has died. Death

is in this situation. Her husband is her livelihood, her husband is her

home. Her husband brings income and means everything to her. You know that

your servant feared the lord. Now the creditors. I know nobody knows who

a creditor is. The creditor is coming to take my children. I'm going

bankrupt. My cards are being repossessed. I'm being booted out of my home.

I don't know what it is. Two children are slaves. Elijah asked

her, what an interesting question. What can I do for you? Duh,

I just told you what's going in my life. No, I want

you to release your faith right now. Open your mouth and tell me what

you're believing for. Tell me what do you have in your house? She

said, Your servant has nothing. Underlining that word nothing. Why because she

has a scarcity mentality in the house. Accept the jar of Wait a minute,

you're lying. You said a few moments ago you had nothing. Now

we find out. You got a little bit of something little loyal. You're

overlooking the little God hasn't overlooked. A little little becomes much when you place

it in the Master's hands. You may not be much now, but who

do you know what God can do for you tomorrow. Those children may not

be much now, your health may not be much now, your financial situation

may not be much. Now, go out and borrow empty containers from all

your neighbors. Do not get just a few. Then go in and shut

the door behind you and your sons, and pour into these containers. Set

the full ones full. I love that word full ones to one side.

So she left after she had shut the door. And sometimes you can't tell

your business to everybody. Just go do what God told you to do,

and stop telling everybody. Shut the door. Now you've heard from God.

Don't go build blabber mouthing to everybody. God told me God's gonna do.

Let them just see it when it's done. So people can't handle God.

Wow. Okay, they kept bringing her containers and she kept pouring. I

love that where she she just get man hashtag that bumper sticker, that tattoo

that just keep pouring When there's lack in your life. Just keep pouring.

When you've experienced a death in your life, just keep pouring when the creditors

are knocking on your door. Don't stop pouring. Pouring out your prayers,

pouring out your prayers when they were full. That's God, God is I'm

sorry, He's not an empty God, A halfway God. Fool. She

said to her son's bring me another container. He replied, there aren't any

more than the oil stopped. Then she went out told the Man of God

and he said, watch this. Now you didn't understand what you were doing,

silly woman. Some things don't make sense. Mister. Why would I

take ten percent of my money that I need and give it to God and

then all of a sudden, God begin to pour me more oil in my

life, more a client's, more business. It doesn't make sense. Scarcity,

mindset, Go sell the oil. Now pay your debt. I like

hashtag that one. Look at somebody next year to say, pay your debt.

Don't act like you ain't got no debt. You're making a lot of

people angry because you won't pay your debt. You're making a lot of people.

Now follow your Jesus because you won't. Let's move on. Pay your

debt. I love this abundance. You and your sons can live on the

rest. You're going in the oil business. You're like Jed Clampitt. Some

you don't even know who Jed Clampitt is. Beverly Hill Bill, it is

okay? Does that hint? This year's store about a man named Jed poor

mountaineer be Pennsvai Flan. Then one day who was shooting him some cool something

up come the down comes some bubbalon crew oil that is Black Goal Texas team.

Well, the first thing you know, oh, Jed's a million can

folks say, hey, Jed, move away from here. California's place you

ought to be. So they loaded up their truck and moved to Beverley Heels.

At is I watched too much television when I was a kid. I

haven't sung that song and since I was a kid. But anyways, watch

this. Let's break it down very quickly. Now with twenty minutes left,

I've got to give you ten points that we're going to work through them very

very quickly. Here's what a scarcity mindset. Scarcity is to think more about

yourself than you think about others. My needs, my wants, and my

LIFs, and I don't care as much about your needs mine. I me

myself. Yet the Bible says to prefer one another, and that we are

to look out for the interest of others. Sometimes you don't go somewhere just

for you, You go somewhere for someone else. But most people don't go

because they don't feel like going, and they don't reck nis that you're going

for someone else. Scarcity mentality only thinks I'm the victim here. I'm the

only one going through tough time. You're not the only one. I have

two friends, Frederico and Luke. And Luke is an avid mountain climber,

a bike rider, and he invited Frederico and Fredrico never been on a bike.

So Frederico shows up with just a bike and he hardly has any gear,

and so Luke says, where's your gloves? He said, I don't

have no gloves, and so Luke only has his gloves. So Luke takes

off his gloves, gives them to Frederico and goes into his truck and gets

socks and puts them on his hand and makes gloves out of the socks.

Would you be willing to take off your prize gloves and give them to somebody

else, and you use less of a version. Scarcity mentality won't do that.

Scarcity mentality, I don't need to learn, I don't need to and

I don't need to change anymore. Therefore I'm not listening anymore, and I'm

not asking anymore, and I'm not attending anymore. I'm perfect and I'm prideful.

That's a scarcity mentality that says that. But yet the Bible says,

all the days of my life, in your life, we are to grow

in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. John fifteen says that

all the days of my life, I'm to bear fruit, more fruit,

and much fruit all my life. But a scarcity mentality just gets comfortable and

just slows down and stops and puts their gift on the shelf and won't move

forward. That's why the scenario is a person is dead at forty buried at

eighty. They died in a vision, they died in their ministry, they

died in their hopes something. They're just waiting to be buried. The Bible

challenges us that you and I are more than a conqueror. We know that

the Bible says, thanks men to God always causes us to triumph. We

know that the Bible says, and this is the victory that overcometh the world,

even our faith. But a scarcity mentality is to believe and accept that

your past defined you rather than your future. You are not defined by your

past issues, your past failures, your past sins, your past mistakes,

or your past lapse. You're defined by the promises of God. That's what

defined you. But so many people are hung up on their past issues of

failures and sins that they can't progress past. I'm going to show you an

image of my friend with his wife. He goes to our church now for

about twenty years. He's an ex Dodger, he's an ex Seattle Mariners,

and he's an act an act Milwaukee Brewers player. But if you know Dennis

pal then you know his life was not easy. He was incarcerated at sixteen

years old. He had an absent father, He stuttered most of his young

life. He had a tough neighborhood full of streets, gangs, and drugs.

In eleven months, in eleven months, he lost his three brothers.

He lost his nephew, and he lost his three month old daughter. Yet

amazingly, if you see, his book is about ready to come out next

year, and when it does, I want you to all buy it.

It's called Standing over Home. And how he's triumphing in ministry is coming out

of this tragedy because he refused to. May even know. Some people just

can't get over their past. But here's Dennis who was able to overcome his

past. The Bible says, seeky first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness,

and all these things the Bible will be added to you. The Bible

says in MALOCHI that the church or the believers at that time would bring an

offering to God, but they bring the animal that was blind and lame and

sick, and they keep the prize animals for themselves. What is the point

here? A scarcity mentality is to give the world your best and to give

God less. It's a scarcity mentality. I reserve the best for me,

I reserve the best for the lakers, I reserve the best for my job,

I reserve the best for my income, and I give God some crumbs.

I ain't got no money, I ain't got no time. I don't

have no ability. That's a scarcity mentality that things that way. You know,

I don't know about you. I don't know. I don't know what

your life look like BC before Christ. But I was a pretty good sinner.

Is there anybody in here that I notice? You need you to raise

your hand? How many of you were pretty good sinners? How many?

How many of you were just average sinners? I mean just just barely sinners.

I mean you just how many of you were just like elementary school sinners?

How many of you had your PhD, master's degree, and doctorate in

sinning? Now, all of a sudden, you're gonna come into the Kingdom

of God and act like an elementary school student. When you gave the world

your bed, you shut down nightclubs. Anybody that blinked at you at a

bar, you'd go home with you, drink and stone out until you passed

out. You'd buy everybody drinks. You'd have the biggest super Bowl party.

So I mean you still have them. You know where I'm going with this.

When you're in front of that television or you're in that bedroom, there's

emotions and sounds coming out that God says, I never hear that in my

presence. You never worshiped me like that. Who the heck are you?

Scarcity mentality. Scarcity mentality is to know what to do Pastor Kenny, and

not to do it because I know that would have brought a big shout for

you from you. Pasta Kenny likes that kind of stuff. You know what

to do, but you just don't do it. You kind of you kind

of kind of play dumb. Here's one of the hardest scriptures. There are

a lot of them. That's it talks about that. Remember, it is

a sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.

Boom. Don't act like you didn't know what to do. You just right

now, scarcity mentality. You know what to do. As old as you

are, you know what to do as long as you've been saying you know

what to do. You got the Holy Spirit. You didn't feel no check,

no uncomfortable us, no stopping you. Yeah we did, you know

what to do. We have children that grandchildren. They come over and there's

no jumping on the sofas Bahama. You know, they climb their way up

there and the next thing you know, they're jumping and you look at them

with point a finger or say something, Now you better not jump, and

they stay tested. They're staring like I'm already jumping on the inside. And

it's now a showdown right now of righteousness versus I'm righteousness, the devil versus

God. Right now, I'm telling you, I'm telling you if you do

that, don't touch that. Now, don't jump there no more. Don't

you tell me that that two year old don't know what to do. Now

you're twenty two, forty two sixty two and you don't know what to do.

I don't know that. I didn't know that. I'm so so tith

How much is tithing? Yet when you go to McDonald's and they ring you

up with a bad order and short change is seventy five cents, you caught

that, you cpa accountant, brilliant financier, but you can't figure out your

tithe how much you made this week, this month, this year. Peter

got out of the boat to walk on the water. I believe that invitation

was also for the other eleven, but they didn't take advantage of that.

The Bible says that we are absolutely more. There are more that be with

us than be against us. The scarcity mentality. I love this one is

the inability to risk and attempt something and try something and experience something and do

something. Because of fear, you won't get out of the boat and lead

something and commit to something and volunteer for something. Maybe you've got to leave

someone who's not part of your future, who doesn't value you. There's no

life in that relationship, but you can't why because of fear. That's a

scarcity mentality. The scarcity mentality, the inability to risk, the inability to

try tell somebody it's time. Look at somebody saying it's time to get over

yourself. I could tell you story after story after story of people I've approached

to help me in ministry and they ran. They never came back to this

church, And I'm thinking, what happened? They were faithful attenders, but

the moment I asked them to lead something or do something, they ran.

It's a scarcity mentality there. You know, when I was a senior the

summer going into junior college at Mount Sack, I had a friend and he

said, diego, let's let's bike bicycle. Let's bike across America. I'm

gonna bike across America and I said, here's the scarce city. Mental.

I can't do that. Well, why don't you have a bike. Yeah,

I got a bike. Let's do I can't do it. Where are

we going to eat? We'll figure it out. Where are we going to

stop? We'll figure it out. I don't. We don't know no one.

We'll figure it out. And there was another thing I have fought all

my life, a scarcity mentality. And so my friend went and came back.

I I was, oh, man, it was you know, it

was the best experience ever. Look at the photographs, the pictures. I

saw this. I did this. Nothing bad happened. It was just a

wonderful experiment, new people. And yeah, I got some flat tires on

the way, but it was okay. We may do with it. God

provided. And I'm and I missed out on a golden operator. I can't

do that now, I can't. She won't let me leave her for three

months. You leave this church if you didn't see me for three months,

it was for a season and a time. But I thank your Holy Spirit.

Sometimes it's only for a season and a time. But when those times

comes, don't say no. Step out of the boat and do what God's

asking you to do the next one, Number seven is the Bible says to

count the cost of everything, and that everything in life. We are to

steward that we don't own anything, that we are a bower, and the

Bible says that the bowers servant to the lender. So the scarcity mentality number

seven is this, to buy something that you cannot afford. Sell quiet at

God in here, because I think we've all been guilty of that. But

the reality is it's bondage, and it's a curse, and it's and and

and it's something that the enemy uses, whether that's trying to keep up with

the jones is or image driven or reputation driven, or or or or the

fact that we can't deal with rejection or denial. So this is how we

pacify ourselves. Again. We know we shouldn't, but you know what,

I'm all grown up and and I got the ability with this card to do

whatever I want to do. So scarcity mentality is just simply to buy something

that you can afford. It's seen out this way, where you pay the

minimum payment on your credit card. Tough preaching, I'm not here to judge

you. Debt is a bondage. It's a slavery. It's a modern day

slavery. You're gonna buy something that you can afford and pay the interest on

that ten times over for the next ten years because you have to have it.

Okay, Pat, I needed that pass. I was an emergent.

Okay, that's great, I understand that. So buy it and now come

up with a plan that I'm not going to pay this off in five years

and accumulate X amount of interest. I'm gonna make double payments on it.

And when I get a bonus or extra mindy, I ain't going on a

vacation. I'm not going to go splurge on a wardrobe. I'm paying that

debt off. Now you have an abundance mindset, It ain't. Those people

are better than us and they get all the breaks. It's out. I

know what I'm talking about because I wasn't raised this way. This came from

a Kingdom mindset. It came from Jesus, it came from the scriptures.

What the reality is is to buy something you can't afford, is to do

something of that nature. And we'll talk more about that. Me and Pastor

Adam are coming up with a series for the fall. To do that,

to stop accumulating more and more debt. The Bible talks about what does it

profit to have gained the whole world and lose our soul, and that promotion

comes from God. To scarcity mentality is to think that you have to compromise

to gain or to get ahead. Wow, these are just golden nuggets,

guys, every one of these. So to get that job, job that

you want, your dream job, You're going to compromise your values. You're

going to compromise your faith to get that kind of woman or that kind of

man. You're going to sleep with them, and you're going to break the

ten years of purity that you've been living by because you have a compromising mentality,

and you're going to go join in with your friends to do things that

you know you should and be doing because you don't want to lose them,

and you know you're you know a family member is not living right, but

you're going to continue to fund their sin. You can never gain anything with

God that you compromise with. God will just stand back and let you reap

the results of it. So to think that you have to compromise to gain

something or to live by shortcuts. Shortcut. Listen to me, young people.

Shortcuts and cutting the corners is a scarcity mindset. You can't always go

from high school basketball to the pros. Very few can make it that way.

And I'm just using a natural analogy. I'm not trying to make this

a prince to preach to you today. It's an analogy to identify with.

Character has to be developed, and a degree to fall back on has to

be developed. Humility has to be developed against shortcuts. I had a lot

of guys when in all the years of running, the coach would lay out

a course, and I had some guys that would cut the course. They

thought they got away with something until race day. I don't know why you

I don't know why you're so good, Diego. I don't know why you

can, you know, play so high because I don't take shortcuts. If

today I was supposed to run this and that's what coach said, I'm gonna

do what he told me to do. He said, did do this many.

I'm gonna do what he told me to do. No shortcuts. I'm

sorry to believe. To believe that it's too late is a scarcity mentality.

It wasn't too late for the thief on the cross. It wasn't too late

for Rahab the heartlet. It wasn't too late for Job and all his losses.

It wasn't too late for eighty five year old Caleb. It wasn't too

late for Rachel and Hannah that couldn't have babies. It wasn't too late for

Elizabeth zachariahs. It's not too late for you. It's not that you're too

old. It's not that you've send too much, or you've wasted so many

years. It's never too late. And I'll finish with this with my three

minutes left. Because this is a message within itself. It's taken for Proverbs

twenty six first number eleven. As a dog returns to its vomit, so

a fool repeats his folly, and the scarcity mentality number ten is when you

allow the cycles to repeat, the bad cycles in your life to repeat,

rather than breaking them. Cycles the cycles of renting versus owning, the cycles

of being a victim rather than victorious, cycles of blaming and excusing rather than

taking response ability, the cycles of infidelity versus faithfulness, the cycles of laziness

versus discipline, the cycles of living by the mercy of God rather than the

grace of God. The cycles of not taking initiative and being too passive.

Those are cycles. And here's what cycles look like. As I begin to

close this message down, they'll be on the screen. I know I make

enough money, but where is it going? Why am I here again around

this time every year? Why do I feel this way? And why do

I do this every time this happens. I do this and regret it.

This is how I cope, and I know it's not healthy. Why do

I always get the same results or attract the same kind of relationship, same

kind of man, same kind of women, whatever it is, same kind

of people. Because you have a cycle in your life and you have to

learn, I said, you have to learn how to break the cycle.

Herod Antipas killed John the Baptist, but his father, Herod the Great,

tried to kill Jesus. That's a cycle that takes place in his life.

Abraham, to save his neck, said Sarah was his sister? Isaac the

Son to save his neck said, Rachel is my sister. Sampson first went

around with a philistine woman, then he went around with a prostitute woman.

I think from Gaza, and then he went around with Delia. He always

chose Delilah. Bad women break the cycle. Bro I'm not a psychologist.

There's a lot of people smarter than me to show and prove to you about

cycles. But here's a few cycles on the screen. First, an event

happens, whatever, that a tragedy. Now it produces a thought that produces

an attitude that princess, a feeling, that princess of behavior, and a

line. You didn't get there overnight. It first started with an event.

You didn't get to this lifestyle overnight. It first started with an event and

a thought. Here's another cycle. I experienced a hurt or disappointment in my

life. Now I feel like retaliating and vindicating. Now I'm justifying what I'm

doing and exaggerating what happened to me. Now I'm labeling people and judging people.

Now I'm living by absolutely. They're all like that. All preachers are

like that. And you're saying, I'll never do that again, or never,

you know, go join a church, I'll never marry again. I'll

never's that because that's a cycle. There's another cycle, apostasy. This is

Israel's all through the old Testament. Apostasy's America. I don't need God,

I don't want God. I don't I want idolatry in my life. Then

there comes servitude that means you start reaping from not having God. Now there's

bondage. Your marriages are destroyed, your family is desecrated. There's poverty in

your life. They're suffering in your life. Now there's supplication. We cry

out to God. God help us, we're sorry, give us mercy.

We repent, and now salvation comes. Now all of a sudden, your

life begins to prosper, it begins to bless and if you don't stop it,

you begin to forget about God because you have a nice car now and

you have a nice house. And now the apostasy begins to happen. And

last cycle, there's admiration. You like something, Then you start experimenting with

something. Then you start participating with someone. Then you start justifying something.

Now you're a reprepair. I have a rat. Here's what I'm ending with.

This is a yo yo. What is this yo yo doing? Huh?

It's it's going up and it's going down. That's cycle. And there's

a lot of us that we're up. And then we're down, we're up,

down, and then we're up. We're in and then we're out,

we're cycles. I'm happy and then I'm sad. I'm praising the Lord,

and then i'm you know, full of worry and doubt in my life.

There comes a point where you have to do this. You have to begin

to do what. You know what I'm about ready to do. It's if

it works. You gotta begin to you know, in this abundant ministry,

we need some sharpers. You gotta break the cycle. You gotta break the

cycle. That's enough. That's enough. Father. I thank you for the

message today. I pray it resonates in the hearts of people. All of

us can leave and now see what scarcity. Maybe it's one, maybe it's

a three, four of them, whatever that is, God, may we

go back and take an inventory and now begin to ask you to give us

the courage to change. Amen, thanks for coming to church. That I

really mean that. But before you go up and ask that nobody moved,

Please, nobody moved. Reverence and respect what's about ready to take place right

now? Because your movement can stop somebody from giving their life to Jesus.

The only people that are moving are volunteers that are positioning themselves so that when

you leave to serve you. Once you listen to this statement, a statement

is this, it's really hard to go to hell. Jesus makes it really

really hard to go to So if somebody is in Hell or choose as hell,

that wasn't easy. It was hard for them to go to Hell.

Permitted me to explain to you what I mean. First of all, your

parents, your godparents, gave you a Christian name. Every day they call

you Thomas, they call you Andrew, they call you Matthew. Do you

know what that name represents? Yet you don't want nothing to do with God,

Yet you have a Christian name. God was talking to you. You

survive childhood accidents, drunk driving situations overdoors. That was God's love, the

goodness of the Lord leading you to repent. And yet you denied there's a

God. And you live in a house that you don't deserve, You married

a wife that you don't deserve. You have favor and promotion in your life

that you're not better than anyone else, and yet still you're gonna deny there's

no God in your life. Don't tell me that there hasn't been points of

conviction in your life or consciousness in your life where God was telling you how

much you need him and how much he could help you, and who he

And yet you ignored it again in your life, all these things that God

has done in your life to speak to you about who He is, and

yet every one of those times you pushed it away to your own rationale,

to your own reasoning, thinking that there is no God. So it's really

hard, it's really hard. You would have gone through a whole lifetime and

ignoring hundreds, maybe thousands of Remember when He sent laborers your way, Remember

when you went to abundant living. He gave you a great mama, He

gave you a great school teacher, He gave you a great coach that said

I'm a Christian or what I do represents Christ. And it was to be

used to bring you to Jesus Christ. And there you go again, you

ignore it. Can you see what I just said, it's hard for people

to go to. You would have had to nor a whole bunch of stuff

in your lifetime that God and his love and his mercy sent for you to

be saved. Well, now it's time to stop and it's time to recognize

your life today and all that God's done for you to get you to a

point to receive him. Or you say, I acknowledge God's goodness in my

life, but you know what, I ride the fence of compromise, and

I am that yo yo in and out and up and down, and I

just need to rededicate my life to the Lord. When I count to three,

I want you to raise your hand as high as I'm raising my hand.

There's something liberating about raising your hand. For the Bible says, if

you're ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you. But if you

acknowledge me, I will acknowledge you. I tell people to raise their hand

because this is how Jesus died on the cross, naked, martin beaten,

stretched out for the world to see. He didn't die in a hidden,

secretive alley or a closet no one can see. There's a mutual sign of

surrender. When you do this. It goes across the world in every language.

I ask you to do this because this is how you lived in the

world, unashamed. We're going to raise our hand and give our lives to

Christ. Right now, redicate dedicate our life. Your hand won't be the

only hand. Here we go one two, one, two three, raise

your hand wherever you are. I want you now to stand on your feet.

Let's go all the way. Let's stand up for Jesus. You're in

a friendly environment, you're our guest. Stand up for Jesus. Right now.

I want to lead you to prayer, to say this prayer with me.

Dear Lord Jesus, you know who I am, and I recognize all

the times in my life where you were there and I just didn't know it,

but now I do, and I ask you to come and live in

my heart and be my lord and shavier in Jesus name. Amen. We
