Child Like Faithfulness || Child Like Pt.3 || Pastor Diego Mesa

Welcome to the Lesse podcast. Here at Lesse, we seek the loss,

teach the fountain, and send the disciples. We truly hope you're encouraged by

this week's message we've gotten. The last couple of weeks, Pastor Adam did

a masterful job on talking about childlike faith. I'm fighting, achieve me,

childlike fight. And then Pastor and Nathan came and talked about childlike trust.

And today I get to talk about child like faithfulness. So I want you

to stand for the reading of the Word, and we're gonna read a very

familiar parable or story and it's a little bit lathy, but it's very very

practical. It's very broad at its meaning. I won't be able to go

through the depth of it, but I'll try to make it as as applicable

as possible for us today. Matthew twenty five reads like this for the Kingdom

of Heaven. Whenever you read this, see this the Kingdom of Heaven.

He's talking about the way that the kingdom functions, the way Jesus's rule and

reign functions. So he's teaching us it's like a man traveling into a far

country. Who's that man? That man is Jesus traveling to a far country,

who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. And to

one he gave five talents, to another, two to another, one to

each one according to his own ability. God graces you with what you can

handle, good, batter and different. And immediately he went on a journey.

And he who had received five talents went and traded them and made another

five talents. He increased, he bought productive growth. And likewise he who

had gained two more. Also, he who had received one, went and

dug in the ground and hid his lord's money. After a long time,

Remember that word, that keyword there, a long time, the lord of

those servants came and settled his accounts. Notice how the Bible talks from a

legalistic, a financial world that we can I identify with He says, settled

the accounts with them. So he who had received five talents came and brought

five more other talents, saying, Lord, you delivered me five talents.

Look, I've gained five more talents besides them. Here's the lord's response,

Well done. How many have ever heard this statement before? Well done,

thou good and faithful servant. Only three of you. Okay, let's move

on. He says, you have been faithful over a few things. I

come on, Shake off Hillary, shake her off, Man, I will

make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of the Lord.

Second, the two talents came and said, Lord, you delivered to me

two talents. Looking, I've gained two more talents besides them, same commendation.

Though they brought different increases, they were still productive and they got the

same acknowledgement. He didn't say you're less than because you only gave me two

and the other guy gave me five. It's what God puts in your hands.

He may put more in someone else's hand. But did you use what

God gave you? I may not be as gifted and talented as somebody else,

but God says, diego, did you use the talent and gift that

I did give you? You only had a twelfth grade education where someone had

a PhD. But did you use what I gave you? Good and faithful

servant, Enter into the joy of the Lord. Okay, Third person,

here we go. Then he who had received the one talent came and said,

Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you

am not shown, gathering where you have not scattered seed. And I was

Scarty's cat. I was terrified. I was afraid, and I went and

hoarded hid your talent in the ground. Look there you have is what is

yours. Okay, But his lord said to him, this is massive that

you see this, you wicked and lazy servant. You knew that I reap

where I'm not sown and gather where I'm not scattered seed. So you ought

to have deposited my money with the bankers, and on my coming I would

receive back my own with interest. Therefore, take away from him. See,

some people, you know what, that's too harsh. God is just

a god of grace, and it really doesn't matter how you live. God

is gonna just override the consequences of what you should have done and just bless

you. Then what is this story all about? Therefore, take the talent

from him and give it to him who have ten talents? I hear you,

I hear you, Peter, I hear your Peture. They're over there,

chirping over there. For to everyone who has more will be there.

These birds are ain't many mean more than you're aim ay me, because you

know I'm preaching the truth today, don't you everyone who has you know I

heard the birds more than I heard you, because those are safe holy ghosts.

But water tongue talking bird from him. Let's go on to the next

last slide. Come on, watch says, and throw this good for nothing?

What the heck does God talk that way? Does Jesus talk down?

And throw this good for nothing? Servant? In outer darkness where there will

be weeping natural you may be seated. Today we're talking about childlike faithfulness.

I want to introduce to you a guy. His name is Demante Love.

He's six years old. He's six years old, and if anybody remember Hurricane

Katrina in New Orleans that struck and the whole New Orleans was devastated. Families

were displaced, parents from children, all the chaos and damage that took place,

well, Demonte and his mom and his six month old brother was on

a roof and they were there with other families, and they were there for

three days until finally the helicopter came and rescued. But the helicopter said,

we will right now only take the children and we will come back for the

adults. So the children virtually went one way, the parents didn't know that

they would not be able to be reunited because there was so much chaos.

They would be taken to different locations, different cities, and if you remember

the story, even different states. So it's four days later before six year

old Demonte Love and his mom was reunited. The last words from Mama Love

to Demant was this, take care of your six month old brother. When

those four days came, Mama not only found Demante Love and he was taking

care of his six month old brother. During that period of time, he

took care of five other children, ranging from the rage of six months to

three years old. Six years old, that's the faithfulness of a child.

That's the loyalty of a child. Let me put two other strong words,

the reliability and the dependability of a child. That's what I see in Demante.

When I think about childlike faithfulness, I think about children who instinctively God's

called them, whether whatever language they are born into. One of their first

words is my mommy and daddy and mommy's a daddy's fight over who will be

the hert first to utter those words. No, they said daddy first before

they said say it, Say daddy and they'll say mommy. But anyways,

they're faithful to call you and I mommy or daddy when sometimes we are not

a good mommy or good daddy. You know, they're faithful to call on

us when they need help. Mommy, Daddy when you're in crisis? Are

you faithful to call on God in your time and need? Last thing I

understand about children is is they know where their home is. They always come

home. But I know some people that don't know where their spiritual home is.

They always come home. You could depend on children coming home every day.

And the Bible says more than ten times in John the fifteenth chapter uses

this word abide the bord Abide means live, remain, and dwell. You

and I need to stay in Christ, not visit Christ, not for a

while, or not attempt in any form or any fashion. So let's dive

into this message now and talk a little bit about this. On your screen,

you will see a bunch of titles and persons and people. But it's

amazing that this one word interjected in front of these titles makes all the difference.

This one adjective, if that's what it is. I'm not an English

scholar, so correct mean, but this one adjective makes a difference. So

here we go, husband, father, but put faithful. How many of

you know it's there's a vast separation now and a vast distinction when you put

this one word in front of these idols. Positions are people, wife and

mother. Here's a good one employee and a faithful employee. I love this

one, A tender and member at alfc versus a faithful A tender and member.

I love this one. Tither and get faithful, tither and giver,

Bible reader, prayer, faithful Bible Christian, and cray faithful. That in

this parable is the most prolific, monumental five words in the entire Bible that

every Christian says they want to hear when they when they stand before the Lord.

It's it's interjected in hundreds of sermons. It's the conclusion of many many

sermons that goes like this, I don't know about you, but when I

stand before Jez this Christ, I want to hear him utter the words well

done, thou good and faithful servant. Yes, it's true. I love

the quote by Mother Teresa that deals with faithfulness. It goes like this,

I don't pray for success. I ask God for faithfulness. We want to

be successful. God wants us to be faithful. There's a vast difference along

those lines. So here's what I want you to recognize as I begin to

move through this. The summation of this parable is this, God rewards go

to the faithful, and those unfaithful suffer or miss out. The unfaithful will

just simply miss out. Revelations twenty and verse number ten in the B part

goes like this, be faithful unto death, and I will give you the

crown of life. In the Book of Revelations, he's writing to the church

at Smyrna, and he says, you've experienced persecution, you've experienced loss.

The next ten days, you're about ready to go on. You're about ready

to experience how on this earth. But I'm asking you, as you represent

me, to be faithful, even unto death. See, we're faithful up

to a point. We're faithful in perfect conditions and circumstances. But the moment

it's tiring and trying, there goes our faithfulness. As long as things are

met up to my expectations, then I'll be faithful. But if I'm disappointed

and you hurt me and you offend me, then I don't know if I

could be faithful anymore. The next versus Province twenty eight twenty it reads like

this, A faithful man you could put woman there will abound in blessings.

When I started the ministry full time, I was twenty four years old and

around a sixty something, late sixty year old man. I'll remember, it's

only twenty four years old. He came up to me, and I remember

him looking at me, and he said, son, and he gave me

the scripture, A faithful man will abound in blessings. He said, if

you will be faithful to your calling into God, you will never have to

worry about God meeting your needs. Now time has come and gone, but

that scripture and that word has come to pass. Though I had tough times

and we didn't we didn't make a lot of money, and happy meals were

big meals for us that could only be done once a week. God has

blessed our lives because of faithfulness. And the last word is this and First

Corinthians four two. He says this it is required of a stewart. That's

God's expectation of that a man or woman be found faithful. So now I

want to introduce to you my friends over here that have been chirping and encouraging

me this whole sermon. The male is Peter and the female is Petra.

Don't ask me which one is which. I didn't check them out, but

they tell me it's a joke, man, Come on, shake it off.

Here's what I could tell you about these paracrite keats is this. They

are faithful to live approximately ten years. They are faithful to want to take

automatically take a bath and clean themselves two to three times a week. Here's

what I could tell you about their faithfulness. They won't change colors on you.

It's good God. I don't know if you could handle the next one.

They mate for life. He will never divorce her and she will never

separate from him. These are excuse the word, non essential parakeets with a

brain the size of a mustard seed. Yet innately God has given them the

ability look at them kissing right now, to be faithful to each other,

a creation of God. Do they like each other all the time? Probably

not. Will they fight sometimes? Yeah, probably so. Will one be

louder than the other probably? The female will probably dominate. The male.

Male will probably as he aged gets better looking than the female. I'm just

joking, don't mean anything by that, Cindy. I promise there was no

no pun intended there. But they're absolutely faithful to one another, absolutely faithful.

He's not gonna have another he in there tomorrow. You're not gonna see

two he's in there, or two she's in there now. Some prettier,

yallow canary ain't gonna come by some whoa look at that fine canary. If

you would sing like that canary, you'd be in this cage now and kick

her out. He doesn't, he doesn't do that. Faithful. So very

quickly, I'll go through three points in this lesson. Now here's the first

point that you need to understand, or that we're going to discuss today.

God seems to expect and inspect faithfulness to the talents he has loaned us in

all three stories. He seems to have a right to come along and inspect

what he's put in your hand. And he's so bold as to say,

it's not even yours, it's mine. It's mine. The talent that I

put in your hand is on loan to you, your marriage, your house,

your relationships, your talents, your gifts, your position, your testimony,

your story, your money, your income. It's not yours. It's

to serve, to bless you. It is to bless you. But then

it's for you to be a blessing to someone else. And then it's to

build my kingdom. Use what I've given you to make a difference somewhere,

some form, some fashion in my kingdom. As much as you allow it

to work for you, do I have access to that skill to work for

my kingdom? What day on Mondays at three? Can I book it for

Wednesdays at two? It's amazing how he calls it his. The problem is

is basic one oh one. We think it's ours. It's our discretion to

use however we choose to want to use. But God doesn't seem to view

it that way. How many of you know that everything you have, when

it comes to relationships of talent, you're not going to take it. It's

only to be used upon this planet. There's a great picture of this guy

who's trying to take everything that he owns with him, and that's the way

some of our lives look. Can I borrow something? Oh no, you

can't borrow nothing on my car. That's mine. It's mine, it's mine.

But there's this other quote that I love that kind of goes along along

what I'm talking about today. When faithfulness is most difficult, that's when it's

most necessary. So we've got to recognize that that talent. Now, in

this story, talent was specifically money monetary exchange. He put money into their

hands and he said, go grow that money, Go increase that money,

Go bring productivity to that money, and then I want you to give it

back to me. Basic of what this story is telling us. But again,

talent could be so much more broader. Even though the original was money,

money, income, salary, ability. God gives us capability, strength,

friendships, gifteing, opportunities, privilege. He gives us time, influence,

and position, and he asks us to go and grow it, go

and increase it, build my kingdom with it. Let me have access to

it. I don't know if you've ever gone down the fifteen freeway toward at

Lake Alison or going to San Diego, but they're all over the place.

It's called the California poppy. It's a flower and they're orange or they could

be yellow. But here's what you need. To know. There's a penal

code three eighty four. And I don't know of law enforcement know this,

but it is illegal for you to pick one of those flowers, or damage

one of those flowers, or take one of those flowers. It's a violation.

It's a law. And so I don't know if you've ever been down

the fifteenth three and you see people parked and they're they're just all over the

place. Why would people take a bundle of those things? Because they think

they're theirs. They think they have a right too. But everything on this

planet is God's, and he says, I want you to use it.

What genesis was to be fruitful and to multiply and to replenish and to subdue

and to have dominion and bring glory. While I give you this position,

those looks, all those Facebook followers, that talent and that gift, don't

forget to go ahead and give me the glory and let people know it's all

because of me. All I could tell you is when does God have access

to your talent? Plain is simple? And are you increasing in growing your

talent? Here's the second thing that I think is huge. It's this.

It's this third guy that couldn't be counted on. He just couldn't be counted

on. That that's a great definition of what faithfulness is and what non faithfulness

or unfaithfulness is. Can you be counted on? And this guy clearly could

not be counted on. He did not receive the commendations that the other ones

received, and he did not meet up with the expectations that Jesus had on

his life. So there are three things in the passage that we're going to

read very quickly, and it's unfolded to us here why he disappointed the master

that he who had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I

knew you to be a hard man. Stop right there. Let me ask

you this, Where did that interpretation come from? Who told him that?

How many of you have ever had a misinterpretation or a misconception or a misunderstanding

based upon a falsehood that someone else told you or your warped personality of experience

that drew a conclusion about all races, all people, all men. It's

like Adam, and who told you you were naked? Because I didn't.

You didn't hear it from God. I didn't say you were naked. So

what am I trying to tell you the other two do not use this phrase.

God, I knew you to be a hard man. That's why I

went and I multiplied your talents that you gave me. It's the one that

failed. That's his explanation. Many people will not be able to serve God

with their talent, their gifts, their money, and their ability because they

have a warped understanding of who God is. There is a relational breakdown of

who he is. I don't see him as an omnipotent God. I don't

see him as a great God. I don't see him as else should die,

the God that is more than enough. I don't see him as a

god that meets all my needs according to his richest and I don't see him

that way. Therefore, I do not relate to him that way, and

I will not serve him that way. And many people saved and saved in

church and out of church, have a warped understand like a warped record.

How many of you are about my age and you remember the warped forty fives?

I mean, you had your song there, but you left it out

in the sun, and dang you wanted to play it, and you gwent

ahead and played it anyways. Technically it twirled. Technically there was a sound,

but as shut and sound like it's supposed to sound with a perfect record.

And that's the way a lot of people's lives are. I have a

warped relational breakdown, misconception of really who God is, and I'm blaming him

for things that I shouldn't be blaming him of. And that's why I don't

go to church. That's why I don't tie, that's why I don't serve.

If you don't know who he really is. So here are ten things

that I think people struggle with. God killed your loved one. That's a

relationship. Who told you God killed your loved one? Did some person like

me stand in front of that casket and say God needed your loved one in

heaven to give him a few golden wings, angel wings? And so God

killed your loved one. You don't think that a child is gonna hear that

and grow up with a warped break down relational with God. You better believe

it. But that's how it happens. Next one, that disaster was an

act of God. No, the thief comes to steal, kill, and

destroy this world. Is under the governance of Sin. Second Corinthians four forces

that Satan is the god of this world system, so he manipulates all kinds

of things. Everyone gets the same blessing technically not technically not. You're rewarded

for faithfulness, you're rewarded for obedience. But we live in an entitlement to

society with free be everything. Some of you pay taxes, some of you

don't. But those that don't get the same benefits as those that pay taxes.

How many of you like that? I won't talk about politics, even

though I already made mention of Pillory all this immigration going on, and I'm

of the race they're talking about, so I'm gonna leave it alone. But

but but the reality is this, not everyone is going to get the same

blessing. Everyone who goes to heaven that accepts Jesus Christ as her Lord and

savior is going to get entrance into heaven. They're gonna experience heaven, Okay,

they will, I think Pastor Adam preachs about that, they're gonna get

a palm, palm leaf in their hand in a crown. But then there

are other people that are gonna get awarded and rewarded, which I don't know

at all, some level of influence, some level of promotion, some level

of authority. Some will shine, the Bible says, like stars, and

some will shine like moods, and some will shine like suns. God's grace

resolves us from the consequences of chastimisement and correction. Well, no, what

you reap, what you show, you reap. So if I if I

can't, because I can't, but you go get somebody pregnant and you say,

God, I repent, Well, well God is not. You're gonna

have a baby in nine months later. God, I can't stop that from

happening. So people just believe as long as I couldnfesst my sins, I

shouldn't be caught. And you know what, I shouldn't have consequences. Good

people go to heaven. No no, no, no, no, no,

no no no. There might be a lot of good people, but

the reality is we all have a sin nature, plain and simple. Next

one, follow your heart. God loves and accepts you as you are.

Well, that's halfway truth. The Bible says that Jeremiah, your heart is

deceitful and wicked, So follow your heart. God loves and accepted. Yes,

God loves you and accepts you for who you are today, but he

loves you enough to not let you stay that way, so he'll perfect you.

And deliverance is a constant and sanctification is a constant thing. He loves

you as you are as a sinner, but he won't let you stay in

that state of sin. The word of God and the work of the Holy

Spirit in you will begin to bring conviction. God as a vending machine,

Santa Claus, who just wants to bless you. Religion and ritualism is the

same as relationship, and I love this one. People believe it all the

time. All roads lead to rome. It really doesn't matter who and what

you believe as a long as you believe in God. These are people's warp

personalities or relational very bad in that warp personal relation will breakdown and misconceptions that

a lot of people have. So all as you just worship a higher being,

that's all that matters. But I love this little post that I saw

the other day. It goes like this. Before they died, Mohammed said,

I don't know the purpose of life. Buddhist said, seek the truth.

Confucius said, I am not the way, But Jesus said, I

am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man comes to

the Father but by me. And he has an empty grave. Who rose.

Here's here's the next one. He says this, back to the main

passage. There he went and he hid. He went, he was afraid,

and he hid his lord's money. So the second error of this guy,

the first one. He had a misconception of who God was. Now

he's governed by fear. And people that are governed by fear will never allow

God to use their their their talents. They won't be able to serve God

with their talents because they're afraid. I'm afraid that I'm not gonna have enough.

I'm anna afraid. I'm afraid that my friends are gonna laugh at me

and ostracize me and persecute me and make fun of me. People say that

that they are afraid of being I'm afraid of being used. It's amazing how

many people are afraid of being used. I'm afraid of being hurt. I'm

afraid of intimacy. People are gonna know me, and I don't want to

be known, and so they hide their talent in the body of Christ.

Of we don't know what you're telling is because you hide it. What are

you good at? Well, you're good at something because I saw what you

drove up in, but some form of fear will not allow you to release

that into the Kingdom of God, into the God's hands. Since I'm all

over the place, let me go ahead and go one more step. I

really get a kick, and I understand, but permit me to just say

this. People come up to me every once in a while I'm in the

four or wherever i'm at in the fishing village, shake my hand, say,

Pastor, I just want you to know I'm a member. I've been

a member of this church for twenty years and this is the first time I'm

shaking your hands. I want you, how do you want me to interpret

that? Pastor? The true story? Pastor? I've been a member here

twenty years and I've never talked to you. How do you think I should

interpret that? Pastor? I've been a member here twenty years and I've never

come up to you. My question I don't because I don't. I want

to be respectful. But my question to them is why why did it take

you twenty years? Why in twenty years. Did we never intersect in our

lives? I didn't see you in my small group, the small group I

went to. I never saw you when we had a volunteers banquet, didn't

I didn't see you there when we attended this or tell you I didn't bump

into you. M there probably is an explanation there. You're kind of hiding

and you're kind of afraid. Let's move on, Come on, let's move

on. Number three here in this story. Number three in this story is

the explanation, you wicked and you lazy. Oh my god, this one's

hard, guys, wicked, wicked and lazy, because when we look at

wicked and lazy, there is a vast difference in our minds between wicked and

lazy. And I might submit to you that maybe, in Jesus's eyes,

are very similar. See lazy is acceptable to us wicked as Christians would own.

No, no, no, no no. I refuse to be wicked,

but I accept lazy. Come on, be real here, Jesus doesn't

accept either, or he seems to put him in the same sentence, same

category, with only an end in between, because I say, don't bring

the results he expects. So whether you're defined as wicked or whether you're divined

as lazy, the outcome seems to be the same. It would be like

this. This is modern day Christianity in this text. Listen, here we

go like this, you go like this, something like this. You know

what I do good? I do good most of the time, just just

not all the time. You know what I'm not. I'm not I'm not

right all the time, but I'm not bad. And we seem we seem

to justify. Remember I said where it said, and he and and there

was a period of after a long time. I think this is what messed

him up. He was good for a while. But for us, it's

the time between when I get saved and how long I've been on this earth.

Because in the first week or month or year of my salvation, I

was sold out. I was faithful. But when the disappointments of life and

the temptations of life, and the hardships of life and the terrors of life,

then I lost my faithfulness. The word wicked does mean bad, but

another definition of wicked is is cowardly. You were a coward. I was

a coward and not allowing God to use my talent and I was lazy,

so I want to drive it with this. This is a bag of chips.

How many have you ever eaten? One from here? Eating some of

these? Only three of you. I'm gonna remember this sermon. I wish

one of you was up here in this and I could have had last week

or something like us. But anyways, all of you are familiar with the

bag of chips, right, okay, okay, this bag of chips is

telling you that if you paid whatever. I don't even know how much chips

cost. Cindy buys everything, So let's just say, how much does this

cost? Ten dollars? What's the crisis? Right, Pastor Kitty two sixty

nine, two sixty nine, Donna, does he shop? Or what he's

the shopper? Okay, Pastor Kitty said, two sixty nine, So oh,

oh my god. Three sixty nine, four sixty nine, three sixty

nine. Oh, y'all don't know what you're talking about anyways. Five bucks

okay, I spent five bucks on Okay, five bucks okay. They're telling

me if you give me five bucks, I will give you a full bag

of chips. I this bag is completely eat and this bag is finished all

the way to the top with chips. So let's open it up and see

what happens. I got ripped off because it tried to sell me on something

that was untrue. And that's what I think Jesus is trying to tell us.

You're halfway, So a lot of you are contend with being halfway just

enough. I'm not really bad, but I'm not really good. I'm not

really I'm not really bad, but I just I didn't do what was right.

But I wasn't bad because here's what I did. At least I gave

my Lord back the one talent he gave. I would really be bad if

I lost it, but I gave it back to him. Why not get

rewarded Jesus for at least giving it back to you? Stay with me.

There's something in there that's within our philosophy. Not really that not really bad.

But I'm not really good neither. And I didn't. I didn't.

I didn't lose it, gave it back to him. The last point and

I'm done is this this third? These two, these two individuals, the

five and the two could absolutely be counted on. They absolutely could be counted

on. Now why could they be counted on? Very quickly. I'll just

give it. I've got two minutes left. And it goes like this.

I think that they could be counted on, and you and I can be

counted on. To be faithful to God is that we are driven by indebtedness.

Indebtedness to me is massive, and it's huge. It says I,

Oh God, I really could never pay God back for dying on the cross

and saving me and give me a wonderful family and giving me fifty million,

umpteen chances again. But I'm indebted to him and that drives me to be

faithful. And I'm grateful to him because I didn't have a life full of

meaning and purpose fulfillment and significance. And there are a lot of things that

I just couldn't do on my own. But when He came into my life,

he empowered me, and now I can do that. I'm eternally grateful

for that. The second thing, you're driven by obedience. Obedience that the

King is the one, the master is the one that stood before me,

and he placed in my hands his talent. Then he gave he asked me

with his lips, and then he entrusted that in my hand. And then

he commissioned me on what to do, and so yes, it might not

be easy, and it may be hard, and it may be difficult,

and I may have to wait and there may be delays. But he asked

me, and I will obey him. And then the last three things in

conclusion is the three things that he pronounces. There is a declaration, he

said, well done, thou good and faithful servant. If that doesn't mean

much to us, then you know what, we're probably going to be like

the other guy. Then there's a proclamation, he says in that verse.

Only when we get to heaven will we understand the meaning and the impact of

that totally. He says, thou has been faithful over a few things.

I will now make you rule. So there's some level of promotion that takes

place. Even though heaven is glorious, some things are entrusted. And the

third thing is the accommodation. The accommodation says, this enter in to the

joy of the Lord. He says, a joy that's far greater than your

shouting and your praise and you're clapping and you're jumping and you're singing. Not

that I have any party, but the kind of joy that I'm about ready

to give you is not a temporary joy. It's a permanent joy of every

kind of desire and delight that you could ever dream and imagine. Because you

were faithful to me, enter in to a place called Heaven that's full of

joy. No more heartache, no more cancer, no more sadness, no

more tears, no more sin, no more devil, absolute pleasure and absolute

peace. Father, I thank you for the message today, and I pray

it resonates in our hearts. That we've all been challenged God to examine our

faithfulness. Maybe some of us used to be faithful, but we stop being

faithful. Maybe some of us are faithful in some areas but are a little

lazy in some other areas. But I pray in the name of Jesus Lord,

that time is so short, even though delays seem to make it so

long. You said that we are only here for a breath of vapor,

a mist, and then we'll be gone, And we have a short time

to give you everything and be available and accessible to you God. So I

pray that we yield more to you God. In the midst of our we

acknowledge the frailty of our flesh of stubbornness, selfishness, pride rid that from

us, O God, that we could be yielded the vessels that are faithful

to you God, extremely faithful, like those parakeets are to each other,

Oh God, faithful, like to mind tay Love was to his siblings.

Oh God, are those other children? God faithful even unto death. No

matter what we go through, it will not alter nor change our faithfulness to

you. Our faithfulness is not based upon a season, a moment, trying,

attempting. It's about finishing. To hear the magic words, the masterful

words, the monumental words, well done, good and faithful servant and Jesus

name. Amen, do you hear my pete Peter over there? Thank you?

You are in my encouragement today. I don't know about you. We

need a savior. And I don't care how how many degrees you have behind

your name, and I don't care how much money you make. And I

don't care how strong you are, and I don't care how good looking you

are. I don't care how many followers you have. You know what,

You may never need to be saved from money, because you have a lot

of it. It may never need to be saved from harm because you have

a bodyguard and a three fifty seven and nine millimeter and you live in a

high heel and you've got watchdogs and an electric fence. You may never be

saved from losing your job because you have a skill and a talent and a

permanent job. Here's what I'm gonna tell you. You need to be saved

from sin. Your soul needs to be saved because damnation, darkness is in

every man's soul. Though though there are moments of goodness, the reality is

is that we are born into sin, and the Bible says all have sinned

and come short of the glory of God. And so at the end of

the day, Jesus did not just come to save you to make you happy.

Jesus did not just come to just heal your body, even though that

is a benefit. Jesus didn't come just to deliver you, even though that's

good. Jesus came to save you. It's the greatest miracle on this planet.

To be saved, called out of darkness into his marvelous life, translated

from the kingdom a darkness, to be called a child of God, to

go from the ownership and the rulership of Satan to the lordship of Jesus Christ.

And if you can't remember one moment in your lifetime when you were saved,

then you're probably not saved. They say Michael Phelps is the greatest Olympian

swimmer of all time. I don't even know how many umpteen medals he has,

but let's just say that Michael Phelps was in the middle of the Pacific

Ocean, the largest body of water, and we came by in a coast

Guard ship. He's are in the middle of the ocean, and right in

the middle Pacific Ocean. We said, Michael, we're sending you a life

saver, a life jacket. Grab it. We're gonna save He says,

I don't need to. I'm the world's greatest swimmer in the world. I

think I can make it to land. Do you think that even the great

Michael Phelps, put in the middle of the ocean can save himself. No,

he can't. And I don't care how great you are, you can't

save yourself. You are swimming in a body of sin that gravitates down called

Hell, and the only one that can pull you out and snatch you out

is Jesus Christ. No other goodness, philosophy, theory, or deed can

do that. If you're ready to allow Jesus to save you today, or

you want to rededicate your life to the Lord, I want you to raise

your hand like this and we're gonna pray for you. Here we go two

one, two three, be both for Christ. Wherever you are, raise

your hand. I want you to stand on your feet wherever you are.

If you have the kurds to raise your hand, stand up, just stand

up, stand up. Let's say a prayer. Say, dear Jesus,

you know who I am, and you know what I've done. I need

to be saved, and one of the greatest things I need to be saved

from is myself. Save me from sin. Today, I ask you to

be my Lord and savior. You died on the cross, and from this

moment forward, I am saved and I will serve you all the days of

my life in Jesus name. Come on, let's put our hands together and
