A Good Endgame || At the Movies Pt.4 || Pastor Diego Mesa

this week's message. Father, thank you for who you are in our lives.

We humbly come before you. We are nothing, We're nothing. You're

everything. God. Our value and our worth is in you, not outside

of you. Oh God Father, I thank you today as we draw closer

to you through your word, May we lean in and enjoy the coninia and

the fellowship and the communion of sitting at your feet to be taught. I

thank you today in Jesus name. Amen, We're gonna open up with a

scripture. I'm gonna ask that you stand on your feet and today I'm gonna

talk about end game. Say that with me in end games. I'm gonna

talk about end games. See if you see an end game in this scripture

today? You cannot fool God. Okay, close your Bible, let's go

home. Right there. That's a sermon. How many of you really believe

that? Because some people believe that how they're living can really fool God.

You can't fool God, and don't make a fool of yourself. You will

harvest what's your plant. That's an endgame. If you follow your selfish desires.

He's telling you what your endgame will be. You will harvest destruction.

That's your endgame. But if you follow the Spirit, the Holy Spirit God

your endgame, you will harvest eternal life. You may be seated. Watch

the screens, then yours. Whoo whoo woo woo, whoa, whoa,

whoa. Pause the movie. We're just getting him a good bart. What's

the broble. You gotta start from the beginning. Come on back to the

beginning, all right, all right, Oh, and for those of you

who have never seen this movie, spoil We're about to ruin everything for you.

All right, let's go. Twenty three days after Thanos, the big

Bad of the Marvel Universe, snapped fifty percent of everything out of existence with

the all powerful Infinity Stones, a defeated Tony Stark and Nebular are rescued and

towed back to the Earth. Reunited with the rest of the surviving Avengers,

they make a plan to find Thanos, force him to tell them where the

stones are, and have him snap back reality to the way it was.

But this crafty Purple headed monstrosity already destroyed the stones so that they could never

be used again, and enraged, Thor took his weapon and well he sort

of cut the guy's head off, but we're not gonna be showing that.

Five years later, Scott Lang aka ant Man turned from a place called the

Quantum Realm, where times much differently. You see five years to everyone else

was only two hours for him. That's when everyone gets the brilliant idea that

time travel is the way to save the world, and listening the help of

Bruce Banner and Tony Start, they build a machine that's able to take them

back to different places and time so that they're able to retrieve the already destroyed

Infinity Stones. Everything was going pretty well until Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow had

to sacrifice herself in order to get one of the stones, and Nebula was

captured, which allowed her past self and Passnanos and just all the past bad

guys to see what was going to happen in the future. Sue Pass Nebula,

beat up future Nebula, stole or stuff masqueraded as her future self,

watched the Avengers restore all of reality, and at the same time they did

this, she activate the machine which allowed Passtanos and all his army to time

travel to the present, or an all out war began. You get all

that because honestly I got winded, just tris trying to read it. As

the three main heroes, iron Man Thor and Captain America began to fight the

almighty Tyrant for the survival of their planet, all hope seemed to be lost

until okay, what for those of you who don't know, this is huge.

This ordinary looking hammer can only be picked up and used by those it

deems worthy, so pretty much not anyone has access to it. So when

this star spangled here over America began to wield it and smack around Thano's boy,

was that a turn in the tide of battle? You know? Until

Thanos smacked him back harder. Determined to never give up in the face of

overwhelming odds, the friends that were lost almost five years ago returned to his

side so that they could help him fight the battle. Okay, now you

can play it, will fiddle, dB, It's about time. I love

this part. Then yours as symbol. As the battle raged on, it

seemed to be an even match. But yet our heroes still couldn't beat Thanos,

Doctor Strange, and Tony's Dark knew there was only one way to win

I iron Man, one man had to sacrifice his life in order to save

the world. So what does this all mean? Well, for those of

you who are not superhero fans, let me talk to the World of God

fans out there. The race is not given to the swift or to the

strong, but to the ones that endure to the end. This battle would

never have been won without staying the course. Captain America, despite overwhelming odds,

stay till the end. Four, despite losing himself in grief, came

back and stay to the end. And Ironman, knowing the sacrifice he would

eventually have to make, stayed his course until his game. All of the

hero's habits, going from Black Panther to Aunt Man to Spider Man to Captain

Marvel, their habits showed greatly throughout this journey, so even when their endgame

looked them dead in the face, we already knew what they would do.

So the question for you is this, what are your habits? What are

commitments you've made into decided to stop doing? Will you falter in a time

where you're needed the most, or will you press on and endure till your

dame. I want to talk a little bit to you about your endgame.

What's the end of your life going to look like? What are you sewing

today that is already in motion that you're going to reap at the end of

your life. Have you ever been headed toward a destination but landed up somewhere

else because you deviated from the roadmap of your destination and now you're at a

place and you're not sure how you even got here. The compass of my

life, I was headed toward north, but now I'm headed toward east or

south. And so many people today may feel that way, that where they

are to day is really not the direction or the destination they want to go.

Several years ago, I was in Israel and with the team, and

we were in Getty, and that's where David had fled from Saul and hid

when Saul tried to kill him, and so it was just an amazing place.

I took a bunch of pictures and I went on a run all by

myself, and I climb this hill and pretended like I was David and Saul

was after me, and how where would he could could David have gone here?

And where would he have hidden? And I get to the top of

the hill, and from the top of the hill is where you overlooked the

Dead Sea. And I said, oh my god, would David have been

on the top of this hill overlooking the Dead Sea? And so I just

had a great time. But now I had to get back because time had

elapsed, and I ran a little bit too hard because I was so determined

to get to that top of that mountain that I lost track of the time.

And they told me the bus is going to leave at this time,

and all the members were already in the bus, and so I started booking

it like book or t and I started coming down. I started coming down,

and the next thing you know, I'm lost and they're looking for me,

and I'm holding up all these vacationers, all the people on the bus,

all our members, all because I didn't reach my destination. And there's

so many people. They start off really happy, they're taking all the soufies,

they're enjoying it, and then all of a sudden they got lost.

They didn't reach their ultimate destination. The reality that I want to I want

to share with you today is at the end of your life. The endgame

should not be a surprise to you, and it should not shock you.

The end of your get the end to end game of your life should be

planned. It should be predicted because this is how I lived, and here

are the principles in standard I follow, here's what Jesus meant to me,

and the commandments I obeyed, and the end of my life it is absolutely

planned, predicted, and expected. Versus some people, their endgame will absolutely

be a surprise to them. The reality I want to challenge you today again

is that today how you and I are living is writing the script of our

end life. But the amazing thing is is that how you're living today can

be rewritten and edited, and you can change the end of your game.

So, how many of you want a good ending or how many of you

want a bad ending in your life? We'll talk about that, the reality

of good endings and bad endings. How many of you ever gone to a

movie big box office, a lot of money thrown at it by a studio.

You saw the trailer. The trailer was amazing, they had all the

best actors, but the ending of the movie sucked. You're saying, are

you kidding? How did this happen? Now you can google that. You

could google top movies that had terrible endings, and inevitably this movie will show

up that you and I are all familiar with, called The Titanic. Movie

goers say that's the worst ending that could ever take place because Jack didn't get

on the board. But James Cameron went back years later and tried to show

the viewer that it was impossible for her to move and Jack get on with

that board sinking. They actually choreographed it and tried it over and over and

over, and if Jack went on the board, the board would have sunk.

So was it a bad ending or was it a good ending? I

want to read a scripture to you. It's found in Mark the eighth chapter.

It says this, what use is it to have gained all the wealth

and power of this world, with everything it could offer you, at the

cost the endgame of your own life? Another translation, and what do you

benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? That's pretty

powerful, guys. And what we just read about an endgame in the end

of our lives? When he talks about the world, what does it profit

to have gained all the world. We got to break that down. What's

in the world he's talking about. He's talking about the appetites of the world.

He's talking about the ambitions, all ambitions of the world. He's talking

about the acceptance of the world. He's talking about the approval of the world.

He's talking about the accolades of the world. He's talking about the awards

of the world, everything that most people are striving for in the world.

He said, what does it gain to have gained all that and yet lose

your own soul? Is the gain more than the loss? Because if the

gain is more, then let's us all gain the world. Let's all gain

the appetites of the world. Lest for anything that you want, crave,

desire and eat anything that you want, crave, the ambitions of the world,

the acceptance, the approval of the awards. If the gain is more

than the loss, why not go for that? But it must not be

because he said, what does it profit to have gained the whole world?

What's this and lose your soul? See we don't place value on our soul,

but God says, your soul is gonna live forever. It will not

it will continue to live and are. And we don't place a lot of

value on the condition of our soul, the endgame of our soul. We

put more precedence on the endgame of our assets, our portfolio, how we

look how many followers we have, and not the condition of our soul.

And he goes on and it says this that basically everybody reaps what they sow.

The harvest. The crop that you have is somewhere along the line because

you sewed it. And last of all, he says that there are consequences

to this life. There's consequence, there's outcomes to this life. There's pay

day to this life, there's payouts to this life. There's repercussions. I

know, we live in a world that doesn't want to believe that there's repercussions

or actions or outcomes or paid especially some people that come around the faith.

These are people on the sidelines of that God is Love and so everything I

do, He's gonna forgive me of and there's not gonna be no judgment,

There's not gonna be no consequences. So I can live any old life that

I want to live. Really, where did that come from? Yes,

God is Love, but the reality is, as God is a god of

justice and he is a God of truth, you would not want to live

in a world that does not have consequences and reproduction, reproduction, repercussions.

So you and I pass a kidny. We work on the same job.

Okay, You come to work every day on time. You come to work,

and you work very very hard. You come and you take your lunch

and your break, and you're very very timely. Diego is the complete opposite.

He does not come to work at time. He's lazy, and he

doesn't produce the workload that Kenney does. He goes on breaks and you're not

sure where he is at. So listen, you're you're the boss, You're

the CEO. You're gonna judge me. Should Diego get the same pay increase,

the same position, the same benefits and the same rewards as Kinney.

You're not love You call yourself a Christian? Oh you judgmental Christians? Haters

see you. You wouldn't tolerate that on your job. And yet we want

to bring that mindset into God and into the Kingdom of God. It doesn't

exist. You wouldn't like it in the world. And truly, God is

not like that, not like that. So here's a little phrase. It's

a little dated, but I'm gonna try to explain it. Life is like

a buffet line. You could take your plate or your tray, put anything

you want on it, but the end of it, you're gonna have to

pay for it. Now, with the innovation of Vegas buffets, it ended.

But many of you are my age, and you remember when you went

to a buffet, it wasn't one price and you get it all. What

you had to do is you got a tray and you go through the line,

and they had dishes, and so you could you could put your chicken

on that dish. You could put your lone made noodles on that dish.

You could put your inch alladas on that dish. You could put your hand,

you say, oh man, I like I want two pieces of cake.

You can put anything you want on it. But at the end of

the line, the register was there and they'd be adding up every little dish

and how may if you know what I'm talking about. And that's the way

life is. You can have as much as you want, do whatever you

want, have fun doing it, but at the end of your life there

is a cash register called pay day. I'm not here to tell you what

to do. I'm just here to tell you that at the end of the

line, there's a pay day. So when I was a junior in high

school, I worked that summer to buy a Voswagon. So because we had

moved from I was going to Sure High School a Manabalo to Hacienda Heights,

and I needed I needed to buy a car, a Voswagon, or that's

what I would buy. But I worked at a mechanic shop in Colvenum and

it was a big mccang shop, and I was a parts boy. So

they needed a carburetor. I'd go to the store or a place and I'd

get a carburetor and i'd bring it back to they want tires, I'd go.

I was a parts boy, that's all. I was a runner,

That's that's all I did. So I noticed that at breakfast, break,

at lunch and afternoon break, I'd never been exposed to this. This is

almost my second job. First job was Pioneer Chicken. This is my second

real job. Okay, So I've never seen a lunch truck in my life.

So the lunch truck would show up three times during the day, and

I'd see people go up there and get food and go and eat it.

I don't know nothing about nothing. The kind of kid I was, I

was a cool I was a cool guy, and I didn't want you to

know I was stupid and didn't know nothing about nothing. I didn't ask nobody.

Nobody could talk to me. So I go up to this guy.

I go up to this guy, and I say, how does that work?

He says, well, you just give him your name and then you

could take whatever you want. I said, okay. So I just went

up there, said diego messa. And I didn't realize I was adding up

a tab. Does anybody know what a tab? No? It acts like

you ain't been saved. Golly're you know what a bar tab is? Come

on now, I was adding up a tab. Well, when pay day

come half my paycheck went, I said, oh, no, we're caring

a lunch, that's all We're I'm making my own lunch. Now I'm bringing

it. You can have anything you want in this lunch shuck called life.

You want sex, you want pornography, you want adult tree, you want

wickedness on godless, hatred, bigotry, perversion, wickedness sin. You can

have it all, but there's a payday coming for every one of us.

Our endgame. That's what we're talking about, our endgame. In Matthews seven

and verse number twenty four, I'll reach you a few scriptures. Let's talk

about what a good end game would be like for you. You describe it,

you fill in the blank. What would a good endgame be for you?

Anyone who hears and obeys these teachings of mine is like a wise person

who built his house on a solid rock. Rain poured down, rivers flooded,

the winds beat against the house. Difficulty came, but it was built

upon a solid rock, so did not fall. That's the endgame of what

happened there. Wants this other end game goes on and says, anyone who

hears my teaching and doesn't obey them is a foolish person who built this house

on the sand. The rains poured down, the rivers flooded, the winds

blew and beat against that house, and finally it fell. That's the endgame

of that house, of that life, and it was a crash. He's

telling us that there's an endgame. You build your life on the Word of

God. You build your life on the things of God. When the storms

of life come, and they will, difficulty will come. You're not gonna

fall, you're not gonna crash. You will be able to endure it.

But you build your life on anything else other than the Word of God and

God in your life, when the storms of life come, you're gonna just

simply be overwhelmed. So the question we have to ask is what does a

good endgame want to be for your life? Do you want your life to

end in heaven rewards and eternal life, forgiveness, salvation. Do you want

to reunite with your loved ones? Do you want there to be a celebration,

joy, or peace at the end of your life? Or all the

other things are shared? A few moments ago, immorality, ungodliness, and

wickedness. I saw this thing, you know, Solomon. Solomon had a

thousand women, He had a thousand sex partners. But according to Wilt Chamberlain,

from the age of fifteen to seventy he had twenty thousand women in his

life, which is nothing. Fidel Castro had three hundred and fifty thousand women

in his life. The folk and twins don't laugh. They had one hundred

and seventy seven thousand, five hundred each in their lives. That's why they

looked the way they look, tore up, jacked up, worn out.

God save them, Save them, Save those twins. Pay day man.

What are you building for? Do you want the end of your life to

be a long life? Do you want financial freedom? Do you want a

happy marriage? Do you want to have lifelong friendships? Do you want to

have great children and great grandchildren that love you and respect you. Do you

want to be emotionally healthy, free from every negative emotion you can? Then

you have to build toward that now, and you have to sew toward that

now. Do you want to live a life that matters, that makes an

impact, that gives more in my lifetime than I ever took. Do I

want to make a difference? Then you have to sew toward that today to

see that happen in your life. Here are a few more quotes that I

want to give you along this line. It says, it's not what you

have at the end of your life, it's what you leave another at the

end of your life. What really matters is not what we bought, but

what we built, not what we got, but what we shared. Not

our competence but our character, not our success, but our significance. Live

a life that matters, Live a life of love. We have to decide

that it is absolutely our choice. That's why the Bible says, I set

before you life and death, blessings and cursings. Choose life. He tells

us what way he wants for us and what path he has for us.

But it's ultimately our choice. Now, let me give you about five seeds

that I think can build toward a happy life, or a fulfilled life,

or a great endgame in your life. Here's what you're gonna do right now.

You're gonna predict your future. And you don't need a magic eight ball,

and you don't need a Wiji board or soul tar or the Wizard of

Oz to do that. We're going to predict the end of your life right

now because it's backed by the word of God. Not diego. It's backed

by the word of God, and we're gonna forecast the end of your life.

You know, I appreciate meteorologist. I appreciate these weather people, but

sometimes I wonder what school they ever graduated from. How many of you recognized.

No one seems to be able to predict the weather. You look on

your phone and it says no chance of rain, and you're looking at sprinkling

outside. No chance. It says that it's going to be sunny or it's

gonna be one way, and it turns out to be the opposite way.

Nobody seems, even the most intelligent people to protect predict the future. But

God's word can predict the future. Here are the things that you and I

need to build our lives on for our endgame. The reality is who and

what is that? They're all sees Who and what is the center of my

life? Is the center of my life? Me, myself and I,

my toys, my things, my stuff and the people. Then that's predicting

your future. Is the center of your life? The love of Jesus,

that he's the source of my life, and he is the completeness of my

life. That's proticting your future. Who is the center of your life?

The second word, what is the character of my life? What is the

honesty of my life? The sincerity of my life, the trustworthy, the

dependability, and the faithfulness character is this? Who are you when no one

is watching you? Because how many of you know you and I are different

people when others are watching us. You don't pick your nose when someone's watching

you. You don't scratch your crouch when someone's watching you. But when someone's

not, well, oh man, you dig on in there. And I'm

just trying to be funny, But let's go to the who are you when

no one's looking? How do you handle temptation? How do you handle anger?

That's who you really are and I am. That's what we're building toward.

What is the community of our lives, the people that our friendships are

and our fellowships with, who we invest in. We don't want to do

life alone. So who are the people that are part of our community in

our lives? Who are we mentoring, who are we discipling? Then there's

the contribution of our lives. That's where we help, That's where we give,

that's where we serve, That's where we share the fact that I'm a

part of something greater than me and I'm doing my part. That is the

contribution of your life. I'll pause for a moment. You know, I'm

the pastor of this church. Next year pastor animal transition will go on,

but I'm already preparing for the next season. Yes, I will continue to

preach here. If you want to take me and Cindy out to lunch and

dinner, you can. If you need counseling, I'll do that. I'll

still doing prayer in this church and so at running the elders and deacons and

to and I'll still be doing that. But you know what, a few

weeks ago I graduated and now I'm a sheriff chaplain for San Bernardino County.

I really don't need you to clap, but I appreciate it. Where you

tell me where you're what you're doing. Now, once a month I go

and I help I hang out with cancer patience. I haven't because I've been

healed of cancer. I can't forget where I've come from. And I will

go and I will spend an hour an hour and a half talking to them.

I'm just trying to tell you you have to have a contribution in the

church, and you need to have a contribution outside the church. And I

refuse to waste this gift that God has given me on just selfish endeavors.

I can only run so much, I could only bike so much. I

could only swim so much. I want to go out and make an impact.

I want to make a difference for those grandchildren. Well, I'll be

around for them. It's the great grandchildren that I want to make sure that

they remember Papa and who, what why he did it. He did it

because God graced them, God saved him. God he had a domestic just

wrote experience with Jesus, and he was never the same. Jesus changed the

trajectory of this God. If not by the grace of God, I'd be

an alcoholic, I'd be a whole I'd be a pervert, I'd be in

prison. But by the grace of God, we are what we are.

And last of all is the commitment of your life where you persevered and were

consistent, steadfast and diligent. You need to have that commitment in your life.

You keep your vows, you keep your promises, and all that is

seen through our habits, our attitudes, our decision choices and lifestyles. I'd

like to end this message now and we're gonna look at a few scriptures here

today. But here's the last thought I want to share with you. If

you want to have a good ending, you have to stay till the end.

How many of you just saw that Marvel movie. If you stay to

the end of the the movie, what will happen when the credits are going,

There's another scene that will be at it. Am I telling, Okay,

you look like you don't know. You're just a new information. So

you must just get up after the movie's end and don't even know there's another

scene connecting you to another movie. And there's a lot of people that don't

know how to stay to the I'm not here to What does your end look

like? Do you stay to the end? Do you stay to the end.

I've never seen a person not stay to the end of a movie,

whatever that is. They're twelve dollars means too much to them to just get

up early. But I've seen a ton of people leave church every Sunday.

They leave church. They don't know what it means to stay to the end.

When I was back in my day, when I served me a forty

four, oh, I drink every I licked the cup. I ain't short

change in me. I'm drinking every part of my drink. I stay to

the end. I see some of you. You'll eat everything on your plate,

and you'll lick your play, you'll stay to the end of your meal.

Some of us stay to the end of a gossiping conversation. But we

don't stay to the end of our faith. We don't stay to the end

of our salvation. We don't stay to the end of the Kingdom of God.

We don't know what it means. What does it mean to stay to

the end of my marriage or parenting or whatever that might look like. Here's

what the Bible says. As we close this out. He says, he

who endures to the end shall be saved. Then in Revelations he says,

be faithful unto death, and I will give you a crown. But here's

an amazing scriptures. I break this down in John and when he and many

of his deciphe many excuse me, and many of jesus followers heard these things

his teaching his word. It caused a stir. That's disgusting, They said,

how can anyone accept it? He went on to say, this is

why I told you that no one who no one embraces me unless the Father

has given you to me. And so from that time on, we're just

going to stop here. From that time on, many of his disciples turned

their back on Jesus and refused to associate with him. When I read the

Bible, I put myself in the texts, and I don't always put myself

in the text of the one that did right. I put myself in the

text of the one that did wrong. And all these people were rah Rah

for Jesus. How I love my dick Hary the Bible. They went to

church all that, but when a challenging message came from the master's lips that

they didn't like, that challenge maybe their politics, that challenge their culture,

that challenge their likes and their interests, they got disgusted, and it says

they walked away from him and never associated with him again. If you read

the end of the text, Jesus looked at his disciples and said, will

you follow them? Are you going to walk away from me? And Peter

stood up and said, Lord, where will we go? You have the

words of eternal life, go back to the hell that you delivered me from.

Oh no, I'm not going to do that. So I'm challenging you

to stay in the game. I'm telling you to stay to the end.

I'm telling you to stay doing, to stay active, to stay up participant.

I'm challenging you to stay hot for God. Stay hot for God.

That's the true story of John Stevens Aquinari from Tanzania, nineteen sixty eight.

He stood on the marathon line. The twenty six point two mile race was

seventy five other competitors. He came in dead last. The altitude of Mexico

City got the best of him. He started experiencing cramps as he continued to

run. He tripped any foul. He dislocated his knee, he hurt his

arm, and his legs and his feet. And that's what you're that's what

you're seeing. He came in dead last, and his statement was this,

why did you do it? He and again, the ward ceremony has already

been done. The winner of the gold, silver, and bronze have already

been given out. He comes into the stadium late into the day and he

said, my country did not send me five thousand miles to start the race.

My country send me five thousand miles to finish the race. God did

not save you so that you would not finish the race. He didn't save

you just to start the race. He saved you to finish this race.

And you might might now say I'm beat up, I'm tore up, I'm

a dislocated knee, I'm scraped up. Because but that's no reason for you

to quit. Father. I thank you for the message today, and I

pray it resonates in the hearts of every single one of us some way,

somehow. May we pick up our wounds, May we pick up our hurts,

May we pick up our issues. May there be even a course change

for some today. Oh God, they recognize the direction they were headed.

Oh God, because the Bible does say the Bible was clear. Oh God

is appointed in the men wants to die. And after this as judgment God,

we pray today for a soubery message, a message to challenge us.

So God that before you know it, we're gonna be eighty, we're gonna

be ninety, we're gonna be one hundred years old, and then we'll take

our last breath, and then we will live forever somewhere. And we've got

to make sure God that we've done what was right in this lifetime. And

Jesus name, Amen, thank you for being here today and thank you for

staying till the end. Let me challenge you with this thought today Jesus really

makes it hard for people to go to hell. Think about it, Jesus

really makes it hard for people to go to hell. If people go to

Hell, and there are if people go to Hell, they had to go

to Hell through difficulty. They had to go through Hell, through obstacles and

opposition. They had to go to Hell by denying God's love and God's grace

and everything that God did. You know, so many people get mad at

Christianity and says says this, I can't serve a God that sends people to

hell. Well, I don't know where people get these theological doctrines. A

misinterpretation comes from scripture. The reality is is that God sends no one to

hell. Two thoughts. Number one, you're already going to hell, so

it doesn't send you to hell. You're already going to hell. Number two,

you're going to hell because you choose to reject the salvation of your life

so that you don't have to go to hell. For God did not send

his son into this world to condemn the world, but that the world through

him might be saved. One is already condemned to go to hell by rejecting

Jesus Christ. So now He'll stand in the middle of the road all the

days of your life, whether it was five years old, twelve years old,

fifteen, twenty thirty, whether it's through television, through media, through

a preacher, whether it's through conviction, through consciousness, whether it is through

creation, whether it is through a stranger. All those were God telling you

you don't have to go to hell. I'm making it hard for you to

go to hell, but you keep pushing me out of the way by not

accepting my signs that I send you. Remember when you had that little baby

in your hand and you thought, what an innocent life, and the hard

heart person was began to tear. That was God talking to you right there.

Remember when you saw the vast grand canyon and thought, how did this

happen? There must be somebody, But you said, no, I'm an

evolutionist. I don't believe in that. All the things when you reflect upon

your life, for someone to go to hell, God made it really,

really hard for you to go to hell. You would have had to reject

his love, his mercy that he's shown you all your life, the grace

of God. Would he blessed you with that? You didn't merit. You

didn't deserve. You're not alive because you're stronger than anyone else, faster than

anyone else, more brighter than anyone else, is surely not better looking than

anyone else. He was the love of God that allowed you. So he

really, really really makes it hard for people to go to hell because they

would have had to blown past all the signs and all his hand reaching out

of conviction, of conscious of wrongness, and somehow you ignored it and did

not believe it to be true. Today life will end. You and I

will close our eyes upon this earth, whether it is eighty or ninety or

a hundred years old, whether it is through an accident or a mishap,

whether it's through a germ of virus, a disease, But you and I

will close our eyes upon this earth. But here's what happens. I'm gonna

show you you dying, and I'm gonna show you you living again. Here

you go, you done, you got, You're headed, You're headed toward

a car and boom you do, boom you die. Then you will you

wake like that? That's all what says. You're alive. You have a

heart attack, you die, and you like that, that's all that's all.

It happens. At that moment, you will stand before the you will

stand before Jesus. You will stand before Jesus, and at that moment,

he will bring out a book. The book records when you accepted him as

your lord and savior. Then there's another book, which is called the Book

of Works. It's the endgame I'm talking about. If you accepted Jesus Christ

in your lifetime, you repented your sins, acknowledge him as a savior of

your life. Your name is recorded. Because God is a judicial god.

When you read the Bible, if you look it through that eyes, you'll

see that God is very very legal. He's very judicial. So I didn't

want anyone to say, no, that's not fair. I don't deserve that.

He says, Okay, show me in the book, because the book

records your name when you accepted Me as your lord and savior. Okay,

it's not in the book. You had an opportunity when you were five and

twelve and eighteen and twenty and all that. You had an opportunity, but

you rejected it. Bring me the other book. The other book records all

the sins that you have ever committed in your life. This is called the

Book of Works. This will determine the level of punishment you receive in hell.

Not everybody receives Everyone who doesn't accept Jesus goes to hell, but not

everybody receives the same punishments in hell. And you're making this up, diego,

No, it's all found in the Bible. God doesn't want us to

be ignorant of our future, and he wants us to see how much He

loves us today to say, your life doesn't have to end that way.

It can end with rewards and rejoicing and celebration and eternal life. Today,

I want you to recognize you still have time, you have breath, you

have a mind, you can make a choice, You have a heart that

fills it today and I'm asking you if you're really if you're ready to repent

of your sins and acknowledge you you could be like me. I grew up

in religion, knew everything about religion I had, but I didn't have a

relationship with Jesus Christ. And you could be ceremonial like I was, ritualistic

like I was, but you had a lifestyle outside of church. Those are

works, and works can save you or he say, I'm a Christian,

but I'm right in the fence of compromise. Who am I fooling? I'm

not living for God. When I count to three, I'm gonna ask you

to raise your hand to give your life to Jesus. Christ be unashamed to

do it. Jesus was unashamed to dine across mar beaten and naked. I

want you to raise your hand to rededicate your life to the Lord. They'd

be the best decision you've ever made. I promise you one two, one

two three, raise your hand wherever you are all across this outatorium. If

you're raising your hand, I want you to do something for me. I

want you to come out of the aisle and I want you to meet me

at this altar where we're gonna pray for you. Don't be ashamed, don't

be embarrassed. Make this walk for Jesus right now and change the road that

you're living, change your destination. Come just as you are, broken,

empty, hurting, lost, dark, wherever you are. It doesn't matter

what you did last night. It doesn't matter what you've done all your life,

it doesn't matter what you did this morning. You just want to be

forgiven. You just want your future guaranteed. You want to change the outcome

of your life. Thank you guys so much for coming to this altar.

I'm gonna lead you in a prayer. But my prayer is no powerful than

the words that you're going to release out of your mouth, because Jesus is

going to hear those words, and that's all that matters today. So just

kind of lift your hands toward Heaven and just say, dear Jesus, you've

known me, You've known me all my life. I can't fool you.

I ask you in this moment to forgive me of all my sins. I

don't I can't even remember them all. But Jesus Christ, his sacrifice and

his blood shed from me now forgives me of all my sins. With my

mouth and with my heart, I believe that Jesus died from me and that

Jesus is the only means of salvation. From this moment forward, Heaven is

my home. I am saved. Jesus is my Lord. Amen. Come
