We're gonna pray and we're gonna get right into the message today. Father,
-
thank you for this wonderful opportunity. God, may I decrease so that you
-
can increase. It's not important that people remember my words, but it's important
-
that people remember what your words says today because you're the only one that can
-
touch and change your life. For that, we honor you in Jesus' name.
-
Amen, Well, how many of you had a good Fourth of July?
-
How many of you are still repenting over how much you ate on the
-
fourth of July. Look at somebody next to you and say, you look
-
like you did good on the fourth. As Pastor Adams said today, we
-
are going to talk about walking the line. Now, if you're my age,
-
you remember that song by Johnny Cash And I thought i'd play it,
-
but I said, I'm going to Only fifty percent of the church would even
-
know what that song is, So diego, don't be doing that no more.
-
But we're going to talk a little bit about the decision to all order,
-
the decision of ordering, allowing order in our lives through a decision that
-
you and I make. So let's stand on our feet and we're gonna read
-
an amazing scripture that might be very, very familiar to you. But before
-
there's a victory, you have to precede order. You can't have victory if
-
you don't follow the instructions of the order. You'll see what I mean by
-
this scripture that we're about ready to read. Now, Jericho was strongly fortified
-
because of the Israelites, no one leaving and no one entering. Then the
-
Lord said to Joshua, look, I have handed Jericho and its king and
-
its best soldiers over to you you. Now here becomes the orders. Now
-
here's the orders. You're gonna get the city. I'm gonna give you the
-
city. I want to answer your prayers. I want to be you to
-
have blessings in your life. But you got to follow my orders. Now,
-
march around the city with all the men of war. Notice he didn't
-
say women orders circling the city. He didn't say just whatever. He said,
-
Circle the city one time. Do this six days, have seven prints
-
carrying the seven rams trumpets in front of the arc. Look at all the
-
orders. But on the seventh day, march around the city seven times while
-
the priests blow the rams horn again. Instructions when there is a prolonged blast
-
of the horn. You will hear it sound and all the troops will give
-
a mighty shout. Then the city wall will collapse and the troops will advance
-
each man straight ahead. You may be seated. Every one of us want
-
our opposition to fall down. Every one of us want to enter in to
-
what God has promised for us symbolically through the story. But you've got to
-
realize that these walls were not gonna come down if they didn't follow specific orders
-
that God get. They couldn't reverse them, they couldn't elite them. They
-
had to do it exactly the way God asked them to do it. And
-
that's what we want to talk about today, following the orders that God gives
-
us in our lives. Are there any military veterans in this place, specifically,
-
are there any Army veterans in this place? Well, here's what you
-
need to know. Thank you, Thank you for everyone. In Arlington is
-
a very famous cemetery and it is run there by the Army, the infiltry
-
of the Army. There you will find a tomb titled to the Unknown Soldier.
-
It was built in nineteen twenty one, but it was in nineteen thirty
-
seven, there was an order or a law that says, twenty four to
-
seven, seven days a week, whether it is snowing, whether it is
-
hot, whether it's rainy, or whether it is sonny. A soldier is
-
to be posted in front of that tomb. And when his duty is done
-
his shift, another soldier comes to relieve him. And here's what is said
-
to them. Orders remain unchanged, and he takes his rightful place. I
-
wonder in the Kingdom of God, how many orders remain unchanged. But society,
-
culture, the world wants to change the order of God, the order
-
of family, the order of Godhead, the order of morals, the order
-
of ethics, the order of integrity, the order of respect. You could
-
go along all the way across the board. And that's what we want to
-
talk about today. The order. You know, I'm like you that sometimes
-
my life could be a little bit unorganized, and sometimes I can't find my
-
keys, and sometimes we lose important papers. But it gets a little bit
-
more aggressive. If you don't have order in your life. You can miss
-
an appointment because you're late all the time. You can miss opportunities because your
-
life is not in order. You can have unnecessary tiredness, fatigue, frustration,
-
and worry in your life because your life is not in order. And
-
when your life is not in order, all these negative consequences as well as
-
negative emotions happen in our lives. So I think we can all identify with
-
a life that is out of order. But it's okay. You're in the
-
right place today if you feel like your life is out of order, We're
-
going to bring clarity through God's word today of what order should look like.
-
The Bible says this a very famous verse, the steps of a righteous man
-
are ordered by the Lord. God has ordered your life when you were in
-
your mother's womb. God placed an order of your life. Now it may
-
not be in detail. He didn't say I want you to live in a
-
house that's painted brown versus a house that painted yallow. And I want you
-
to drive a forward and not a Chevy. Now you think that's God if
-
you're a ford man, and you think that's God of your Chevy man.
-
But God, you have a choice to be made. But God does have
-
gifts. God does have talents. God has assignments, God has abilities.
-
There are things that God has ordered for your life to do. The steps
-
of a good man. But then in one Corinthians fourteen, in verse number
-
forty, it says, this be sure that everything is done properly and in
-
order. Do you think he really meant everything? You mean? I can't
-
eat anything I want? Does that what that ordered me? I can't spend
-
money however I want. I can't treat people ever I want. I can't
-
work any way I want to work. Is that included in that? Let
-
everything be done decently in order? Watch this other translation that kind of brings
-
it out. But all things must be done appropriately and an orderly manner.
-
You know, I remember, you know, before we established this church,
-
I worked. I was a member of another church in Pomona for fifteen years,
-
and you know the story. I worked for that church for nine years
-
full time. Then one day I went in and I talked to the leadership
-
and said, I don't understand it. I was thirty three at the time
-
and exceptionally loyal and outside of the Catholic Church, that's the only church that
-
I ever knew, And I said, I really feel like I'm supposed to
-
be a senior pastor, but I don't even know what that means. And
-
so I need help. I submit, and they said, well, we'll
-
pray about it and come back tomorrow and we'll talk about it. Well,
-
my desk drawer was cleared out, everything was put in a box, and
-
they said, we prayed about it and we're releasing you. Now go willbey
-
God. Well prior to that, I said, I don't think it's gonna
-
be. But for about a year before I ever would do that because I
-
have a wife and three children, I have a mortgage. I don't know
-
what how I'm gonna pay my bills. Plus is probably going to take some
-
time to develop a congregation of some kind. But that's the way they chose
-
to handle me. But God gave me direction, and he gave me specific
-
orders on what I was supposed to do in establishing that church as it related
-
to my former church. So let me tell you what he told me,
-
and I'm not telling you with an audible voice. He told me through the
-
conviction of scriptures that led the order scripture will order your life. And when
-
I prayed I could hear down and hear what I should do, he told
-
me that he ordered me that I was not to tell my side of the
-
story to anyone. He ordered me that I was not to recruit one person
-
from that church to come and join my church. He ordered me that no
-
matter what they did to me, I was to walk in forgiveness toward them.
-
He ordered me that when I heard that they were leaving town, he
-
ordered me and my family, my young kids, to go over and thank
-
them for the years of service they had sewed into me. You go,
-
you look at the success of abundant living today and be odd and wild by
-
it. But if I didn't follow the orders of God, this church would
-
not be where it's at today. The favor of God follows the order of
-
God. The blessings of God followed the order of God. The increase of
-
God follows the order. The anointing of God follows the order of God.
-
When there's not order, you won't see the favor of God in the situation,
-
plain and simple. And so those were very very very specific orders that
-
God had gave me. All for one more order that's important. He told
-
me that I was not to plant the church Pastor Kinney in Pomona in that
-
city. So I was in font and that's where he planted the church in
-
Fontana. It's amazing how many people don't hear the orders of God like that
-
anymore. But we'll move on. We'll leave that to another subject. Let's
-
break down some points today about order. Let's break down some points about order
-
today. Here's the first thing I want to share with you. We are
-
all grateful and we should appreciate order. Even though sometimes it's an inconvenience and
-
it's not fun and familiar to us. We should all appreciate order. Let
-
me give you this story that might be famous to you. It's an Old
-
Testament story about King David who wants the presence of God or the Ark of
-
the Covenant. The movie Raiders of the Lost Ark was made after this.
-
And so this was a piece of box of furniture, and it had Aaron's
-
rod that budded in there, and Man and the Ten Commandments. It represented
-
the presence of God or and the Hebrew what we would call the Shakhina glory
-
of the Lord. His predecessor, Saul, did not care about the Ark
-
of the Covenant. David wanted the presence of God. So here's how the
-
story reads. It reads then David said, no one but the Levis may
-
carry the ark, So regular civilians, any old people cannot touch the ark
-
could not carry excuse me, because the Lord had chosen. He chose them
-
to carry the ark of the Lord and minister before him forever orders. David
-
assembled all Israel at Jerusalem to bring the Ark of the Lord to that he
-
had prepared. Okay, so then it goes on, what's this for the
-
Lord our God burst out in anger against us because you Levi's were not with
-
us the first time, for we did not inquire of him about the proper
-
procedures or orders. So here we go get a little inside. So evidently
-
David goes to get the arc, but he failed to do it. So
-
instead of quitting, instead of giving up, he learns from his failures and
-
said, I did not accomplish my goals. My marriage isn't blessed, my
-
health is not blessed, my finance is not blessed, my prayers are not
-
answered. I'm not gonna quit on God. Evidently I did something wrong.
-
I'm gonna go to the archives of God's word and find out the specific orders
-
that God gives on how to carry the arc. And that's what he discovers
-
the first time. We didn't do it right. Even though my heart was
-
right. We did not follow orders, and that's why God didn't bless it.
-
It's not God's fault, it's my fault, he says. Then the
-
levis carry the ark of God the way Moses had commanded, according to the
-
word of the Lord on their shoulders and with the poles. They didn't do
-
that the first time, and they learned the lesson they learn. You know
-
what, that's not fun, that's not convenient, that's not familiar to them,
-
but it's to be appreciated. Let me give you an example of what
-
I mean. How many of you have ever boarded a plane so excited about
-
going to your destination, you know, And now the plane is on the
-
tarmac, it's getting ready for the runway to lift off, and all of
-
a sudden, the captain says, I'm sorry, we're gonna have to return
-
back to the gate. Evidently there's some complications. How many of you know
-
that's an inconvenience? How many all of us? Oh? But how many
-
of you appreciate that? How many of you just want to wing it?
-
Just go for a pilot. I don't care. I'm taking the chances.
-
The wing is half fallen off. It's okay, I got some duct tape.
-
Let me go out there right now. See what I'm trying to tell
-
you is we appreciate orders. Even though sometimes they challenge us, they're inconvenient,
-
and they're unfamiliar to us and make us uncomfortable, we appreciate it.
-
How many of you are grateful that a pilot when he gets into that plane
-
has to follow orders on how to start that thing. He don't just read
-
the engine, put planet his foot and take off. There's all kinds of
-
gauges that, all kinds of checklists, all kinds of things. That's an
-
inconvenience because we want to get going. We're fast, we're quick, we're
-
speedy, we want instant success. God says there's an order to be followed.
-
It's an order to be followed. Here's the second revelation truth I want
-
to bring out here. God loves order. His kingdom, the whole kingdom
-
of God, his whole creation, Heaven is run by order. God loves
-
the beauty of order. In Genesis one one, it says this, in
-
the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. There was an order.
-
Then it goes on and it talks about in Genesis about a oh ee,
-
okay, you want to go here, let's go here. That's good.
-
So God created, He created the earth in order. So it tells us
-
if you read your Bible, it says on the first day created light and
-
day. The second day created clouds and oceans, plants, land and plants,
-
sun, moon and stars, fish and birds, humans and animals.
-
Now, why didn't he do it in any old way? Is there a
-
functional purpose to what God is doing? Absolutely, there is an exact order
-
to what God is doing all the way up to the day of rest.
-
And notice this to the left. Every time God created, he said,
-
and it was good. And then he created on the second day and he
-
said it is good. And he said the next day it is good.
-
How many of you were saying it today about good? How many of you
-
want God's goodness in your life? Then you've got to follow God's order.
-
What a great definition of what order is. Order brings good into your life.
-
Not following order brings bad into your life. Order, God's order brings
-
God's goodness into your life. God followed an order and you and I are
-
the benefit of it. In Genesis two, so that's creation. Now in
-
Genesis two, he's going to create an order for mankind, and the Lord
-
God took the man and placed him in the garden of Eden to work in
-
and watch over. Stop right there. So we see here that God created
-
man first the order of God. I'm sorry I didn't I'm not the creator.
-
Don't get mad at me. I'm the messenger. That's I didn't create
-
the message. He didn't create her in front of him. He didn't create
-
him from her. He didn't create him. At the equal time, there
-
is an order because there's a function that God is about ready to expose.
-
How can I marry this woman and this man doesn't have a job. How
-
can there be marriage if he doesn't know how to work, if he don't
-
know how to have any skills, if he had no education. So God's
-
got to work that all out in him. And I don't know if that
-
took a million years before she showed up. There's an order. They just
-
shacking hooking up. He's going to be the male lead, and I got
-
to teach him what leader ship looks like, and leadership is that he's got
-
to be a protector and he's got to be a provider. And I've got
-
to teach him how to do that before I introduce this female counterpart to him
-
and bring order where now she will follow him because she sees his order.
-
If he's not order, she ain't gonna follow him. She ain't gonna be
-
his helpmate unless he does his functional job. She is not gonna be a
-
blessing to him. What does the world look like today? Out of order?
-
Out of order, all jacked up, messed up, torah, ghetto,
-
bodio. I should just leave that and just move on. But when
-
you get to heaven, if you've accepted you, you're gonna see order up
-
there. It's not misordered, disorganization, messy clutter. Everything has ordered.
-
There's the throne room is ordered. Angels are are ready to go to bidding
-
for God. One particular angels or ministry and spirits sent forth to those that
-
are errors of salvation. They stand in the throne room of God. There's
-
other seraphis that worship twenty four to seven. They have order to them.
-
Gabriel has orders, Michael has orders to be done. There's water in heaven.
-
There's trees in heaven. There are gates in heaven. There are foundations
-
in heaven. There's worship in heaven. There's no more sickness, no more
-
sorrow, no more darkness, no more light, no more devil. There's
-
order in heaven. Aren't you glad? There's gonna be order in heaven.
-
It's not gonna look like this world. Salvation has order. You can't be
-
saved unless Jesus dies and berries and is resurrected. You can't have salvation unless
-
there's first repentance of a heart, the work of the Holy Spirit, bring
-
conviction, the eyes of your understanding being open, that I need to be
-
saved, that someone preaches the Gospel to me. And now Romans ten nine
-
and ten. If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and
-
believe in thy heart that God has raised and brother, then now you could
-
be said, there's an order to salvation. I'm just grateful for order,
-
and you need to be grateful for order in your life. I love the
-
order of the military and how they march and how they take orders. I
-
love an orchestra and how they conduct themselves by taking orders and knowing what to
-
play, how loud to play, who to follow. I love the orders
-
of a rowing team that row together and simultaneously. I love order in my
-
garage. Don't put your head down. Don't be embarrassed. How many of
-
you like orders in your closet? You could hire somebody or they're called organizers,
-
and they could do that. We all love order because it represents God.
-
Why why do something instinctively what instinctively hates disorder? Did somebody teach you
-
that? No, it's instinctive within you. You hate messiness, dirtiness,
-
filth, disorganization. You don't like it. Why because it doesn't represent your
-
father. It's not God. I'm going somewhere now, let's go to three,
-
because here's the strong one. Where there is no order, you will
-
see the devil's activities activity, and this will cause confusion, chaos, and
-
complications. Where there is no order, you have the devil's presence or the
-
devil's activities that is causing chaos in this world or in our lives. Could
-
fusion, and it often causes complications. The reality of this of confusion is
-
unwanted and unknown purpose. I don't know what purpose is. Chaos is that
-
which is perversion and distortion of God's goodness. And last of all, complications
-
is just unnecessary and unexplainable difficulties. Some things are explainable, but some things
-
are not explainable. And how many of you realize you can avoid some hardships
-
in your life and difficulty just by following orders. But today we live in
-
a world that's filled with confusion and chaos, and we live in a world
-
that's filled with complications. So now we'll go back to creation. We'll go
-
to Genesis one two. I left you off in one. Now the earth
-
was formless, empty, darkness covered the surface and watering depths, and the
-
spirit of the Lord was hovering over the surface of the waters. So Apart
-
says, there's chaos now? Could there be beauty? God created everything?
-
Then all of a sudden, there's chaos now and confusion and complications because the
-
devil's presence now has come. Activity has come. I don't have the time
-
to teach you this. Theologically, between verse one and verse two could have
-
been millions of years where everything God created was beautiful. Then all of a
-
sudden, Satan was kicked out of heaven and he fell to this earth,
-
and he caused chaos. But God came back and he restored. So the
-
seventh day is God restoring the earth back from its original place. But I'm
-
trying to give you the picture here. The devil's activity in the devil's presence
-
brought this level of chaos and confusion and complications. Here we go to mark
-
now New Testament. The next day, when they went out from Bethany,
-
he was hungry. Jesus is hungry. Okay. Seen in the distance a
-
fig tree with leaves. Okay, it goes on. He went to find
-
out if there was anything on it. That he's just naturally hungry. He
-
sees the distance of a fig tree. The key thing is it has leaves.
-
It has leaves, And when he came to it, he found nothing.
-
Say this with me, nothing saying no thing. He found nothing but
-
leaves, for it was not the season for fruits. This tree was out
-
of order. And when you're out of order, you can't produce desired fruit
-
for Jesus, and you bring disappointment to Jesus. The tree is out of
-
order. He's giving the appearance that I have fruits, because when there's leaves,
-
then there's fruit. I have a fig tree. In winter, my
-
tree will go like sticks. That's what it looks like. Sticks. So
-
when the leaves start coming, then the fruit is gonna come. It gave
-
the appearance of something, but in reality it did not have the manifestation of
-
it. So the tree is confused. The tree is causing complications. The
-
tree is in chaos because he's not in the right season. But it'd be
-
like an eighty year old woman who's wearing booty shorts hot pants. Now,
-
don't get upset with me, because if you came to church that way,
-
bless you God, bless you for doing me for having the courage to do
-
that, or even the legs to do that. But how many of you
-
know that just kind of out of season. If you saw a brother man
-
in here with polyestro suit down to his belly button, Jerry Curl flowing a
-
big rack of teeth. Oh brother, come on, you're out of season,
-
dude, Come on, you're out us at order. You're not going
-
to produce the fruit that you want. So let's look at it today.
-
In our world, we have a violation of God's order. And where there's
-
a violation of God's order, there is the devil's activity to bring confusion,
-
chaos, and complications. So there's an order to marriage. The master marital
-
person is here, Paster Kinney. So here's what happens the order of marriage.
-
My life is together, so that now I am marital material. Step
-
one. I got a job, I've got a skill. I'm going through
-
school. I'm preparing for a home. I've been healed of all my exes.
-
I'm emotionally stable. I shouldn't even be looking until I'm there. Hey,
-
can you help a brother? Al bantell all your friends about me.
-
No, you ain't even ready. There's an order to marriage. You're paying
-
out your alimony, you're praying your child's support. I don't know. Come
-
on now, okay, Step number two. Okay. Now, now we
-
go into the mold maybe of dating. Okay, we go into the mode
-
of dating. Okay. It starts off in a friendship mode. Starts off
-
with breakfasts. Come on, it ain't no al Green at eleven o'clock at
-
night. Let's get it on, Marvin Gate. Come on, No,
-
no, no, no, no, there's order to this thing. You
-
talk very little, and you listen a lot. Let me spill in your
-
guts my soul security of nine ninety nine three three three full full on eighteen
-
hundred and forty five. Come into my house. I want to introduce you
-
my kid this is Uncle diego right here. Children say hello to Uncle j.
-
You're crazy. You're out order, chaos, confusion, complications in our
-
lives. Are you seeing where I'm going with it? Okay? So now
-
I want to Now I wanna you know. I'm dating. I'm getting serious.
-
Now, Now we do some evaluations on you. Now we do some
-
tests on you. Now we do some background history on you. I'm gonna
-
spend the rest of my life with you. I gotta really really know who
-
you are. You got a problem with that? Okay, Then you're violating
-
the order of God. So you go through this testing, testing period kind
-
of thing. Okay, Then you go through pre marital. You go through
-
pre marital and let someone else now bring you. You have your closest friends.
-
What do they say, Do they approve? You? Bring your family
-
into it? What do your parents say about See, we don't do none
-
of that. We're gonna violate order. So you get married, and in
-
that marriage you exchange vows for better or for worse, for richer and poorer
-
again hopefully new people. It's okay, no condemnation. You're virgin, so
-
you're gonna experience each other's body for the first time. Free from disease,
-
free from freaky noess. You're both shy, you're both you know, questionable,
-
you're both nervous. It's a beautiful thing. Now, man, I'm
-
the master over you'll come on over here, a woman, I'm gonna teach
-
you a few look you crazy, No condemnation, don't gil Come on now,
-
there's an order here. Then if you should, you want, you
-
get pregnant, you have babies. It's the order. But we violated the
-
order. Just go to Vegas. No, not even go to Vegas.
-
Let's just live together. No, no, let's just have let's have a
-
kid first. Then it's all this, no guilt, no condemnation. But
-
what happens confusion in that The Bible says, when I was a man,
-
I thought as a man, I understood as a man. But when I
-
excuse me, when I was a child, I thought as a child.
-
I understood as a child. But when I became a man, I put
-
away childish things. There is an order to manhood. There's an order to
-
manhood. So you got to work out your childishness, your kiddie ways,
-
your adolescence, work out your teenage age, work out your young man age.
-
So that now you could become a man, and then you could become
-
a husband, and then you could become a father, then you could become
-
a grandfather. We like skipping things. So you have this kid who's in
-
this male grown up body because he doesn't follow the order of Now. I
-
got to teach you responsibilities. I got to teach you expectations. I got
-
to teach you obligations. And you're able to go through that. You're growing
-
through that. You're going through it. You're growing through it to become a
-
man. Now you're ready to lead a family. Now the order, the
-
order of God, the order of success, whatever success means. I don't
-
want to offend anyone because I know the difference between success and significance. But
-
I want to talk about success across the board, whatever it looks like.
-
So like success in your money, success in your finances, success on your
-
career and your job. There's not instant. There's an order to success.
-
Have you developed character? Have you developed integrity? Have you developed faithfulness?
-
Have you developed servanthood? Have you developed that? No one goes from a
-
journeyman to a master. No one goes from a veteran to a rookie to
-
a veteran that just doesn't happen over passe Kinning. You love Star Wars,
-
don't you. The principal character of Star Wars is a guy named kidnamed Anakin.
-
Anakin's skills are off the chart. He one day is going to be
-
a master Jedi. He may even be bigger than a little Yoda, but
-
he's a padawan and he's got to stay under the submission of a Jedi.
-
And that Jedi is going to teach that kid how to grow up into manhood.
-
He's going to teach him from being a rookie to being a veteran,
-
to live the fulfilling call of God on his life and not be a disappointment.
-
But Anakin is full of pride and full of arrogance and haughtiness, and
-
he wants to skip everything and jump everything. And so this wonderful Anakin that
-
could have been a wonderful master Jedi turns into Darth Vader and brings chaos and
-
confusion and complication. God knows what he's talking about when he talks about order
-
in our lives. And you and I have to if we want success,
-
have to be able to be faithful. You have to be able to finish
-
things. You have to be able to have family first. You have to
-
be resilient, you have to have relational skills, you have to have competency.
-
All these things are a bride product of success in our lives. You
-
can't skip and you can't bypass. But this world today tells you you could
-
be instant everything, and it's not true. Look at how many people from
-
the pulpit to entertainment are fallen by the waistside by flies right now. What
-
does that tell you? What does that tell you? They violated the order
-
of God. They didn't have proven faithfulness, character, integrity, ethics,
-
or whatever God had mandated them, and they violated that. I'm gonna end
-
with this. Here's my last statement. We're done. God's order in our
-
life is an expression of our wisdom, witness, and wholeness. When you
-
and I walk in order, then you're going to walk in an element of
-
wisdom, proficiency, and efficiency in your life. You're gonna have fruit in
-
your life. And when you walk in order, people are gonna think you're
-
wives. A foolish man or woman doesn't walk in order. You will immediately
-
become the top and the cream. When you walk in order, because you
-
will walk in an element of insight and wisdom that other people don't have.
-
You will have witness. People will find you attractive because of the orderliness of
-
your life. You will bring conviction to people's lives that are out of order.
-
So your witness becomes great. Now people want to follow you, learn
-
from you, and so on. And last of all, there's a wholeness
-
within you. Wholeness means that now you're you're living in peace. You know
-
what peace means to me. Peace means a drama free life. The drama
-
for your mama. You know what I'm talking about. So much drama,
-
so much strive, so much fighting, feuding, division and odds. It's
-
because your life is out order. Life wasn't meant to be that way.
-
You got to put some things in the order. So, you know,
-
I don't know what that looks like, but I have to schedule order.
-
I have to calendar order. I have to put timelines on order, and
-
I've got to follow the instructions of order. You know, it's wonderful.
-
We we love order in the things that we like, but we don't like
-
to put order in the things that we don't like. So I have money
-
here. And you know, let me start with are we all of us
-
have our toys, our collections. For women, their their your shoes.
-
How many women have shoes that they have them order in order, in color
-
and in height. Three of them. The rest of you our liars,
-
and you're gonna grippent. You have your flats, your sandals together, your
-
color, your stilettos when you want to be sexy. You know, men
-
got their game shoes on their Jordans and the colorations of everything. You got
-
your memorabilia together. Garfield's got his golf clubs together. In order. Don't
-
change my nine iron with my six iron. It's in order. We love
-
order in our lives. How many of you love order? Most of us
-
are attracted to order in our cell phones or our devices. We order our
-
apps, our followers. We like order. I like to just go there,
-
turn there, watch it, listen or whatever. But we like order
-
in the things that we like. But we don't like to bring order in
-
the things that we don't like. So I got money here, and we
-
don't want to bring order to where I spend this and how much I should
-
give here and how much I should pay off debt here? I don't want
-
to do that. I'm just gonna wing it fly by the seat of my
-
fans. I don't want to bring order here because this is challenging to me.
-
I don't want to bring order in my diet and how I eat,
-
if shoot, if I want some of this at eleven o'clock that night,
-
man, I'm uber eats in it. And now case the colonel, you
-
can't beat that man, Come on now, so I'm gonna go order mine.
-
When we need eight hours sleep? Who needs eight hours sleep? Who
-
needs a good diet in their lives? Who needs exercise? I don't want
-
no order in my life, so for God forbid, fifty sixty seventy years
-
old. You know what happens because you have no order in your health.
-
You have no order in your finances. So seventy years old, you're still
-
paying off debt. You don't own nothing. I'm not trying to be in
-
common to nature, trying to talk to you about the results of when we
-
don't have order in our lives. I end with this story two scriptures I
-
want to give you, and then I'm in with this story. How many
-
of you remember that Jesus fed five thousand How did Jesus know there were five
-
thousand? How many of you this today is a couple thousand? How can
-
you there was exactly the number was? It didn't say five thousand, five
-
hundred four, three hundred and twenty four. How did he know that?
-
Because he sat them in fifties and one hundreds. He's organized? Why because
-
he's got to make sure every one of you are fed, and he's going
-
to make sure that you are full, and he's going to make sure that
-
there are baskets left over. So I organized, God says, to do
-
ministry. I organize everything. This is not off the seat, my pants
-
are flight? What by the wait? No, there's because you give free
-
people, you give food to free, free food to people, and there's
-
chaos. Man, you know what I'm talking about. Just go to Costco
-
and just let that lady with that little hat stand down in line. There's
-
chaos is there ain't gonna be no chaos here. Every one of you going
-
to get your food now, and you're gonna have more than it. Not,
-
but sit out in fifties and a hundred. You get that fifty one
-
out of there and tell him this's gonna start another row. He knew what
-
he was doing. He knew exactly what he was doing. At when Jesus
-
was resurrected, there was a burial cloth put on him. When they walked
-
in and saw the empty tomb, tell me what that buryer, What happened
-
to that burial cloth? It was folded. Come on, men, learn
-
something. Men, learn something with your underwear, your t shirts, your
-
Jesus folded. I almost want to tell you, but I'm gonna just drop
-
the diamond and say you figure it out. You figure out why Jesus didn't
-
throw it, but he folded it. That's for another time. You pray
-
he's a goda order. And now I'll leave it with this when you search
-
it out. In biblical times, it was symbolic of something the way a
-
master and a servant operated. And I'll leave it at that for you to
-
do the revelation. On the fourth of July, I went over to Pastor
-
Adams. I had bought the day before at Costco. I love my favorite
-
meat of choice is lamb, so I bought a big old lamb laden.
-
What I was gonna do was just thinly slice it, throw it on the
-
barbecue and cook it. But here's what you need to know about me.
-
I don't know how to barbecue. I'm in the most lousiest barbecue on the
-
planet. Let me tell you how Diego barbecues things. He cuts it up,
-
he throws it on there, and then he shuts it, and he
-
goes in the house and he watches a few some TV, looks at his
-
phone. He puts on the beans that he's gonna me eat with, or
-
starts the sweet potatoes, starts the corn. He says, oh, man,
-
the barbecue, and he runs on over there and he checks on it.
-
It's a hit and miss for Diego. He never knows what's gonna happen.
-
Why because I don't have no order to my barbecue. In Pastor Adam
-
is a master barbecuer. If you ever want that man to make you some
-
meat, you're he gonna do you good. So I go over and I
-
say, Pastor Adam, here's Adam, here's my my I don't call Pastor
-
Adam. I said, Adam, here's here's my LAMB said Dad, where'd
-
you buy it? What the heck? It doesn't matter where I bought What
-
do you mean where I bought it? What's that hav anything to do with
-
it? He says, what do you how do you want it cook?
-
Do you want it cook medium? Rare? Do you want to cook medium?
-
Well, no one's ever asked me that, Like at a house,
-
at a restaurant, they do. He says, well, you know,
-
we should have been working on this last twenty four hours ago. What do
-
you men working on twenty What were you going to done twenty four hours ago?
-
You know what I'm talking about. He stands right over that sucker and
-
is watching it the whole time. The last three days, I've been eating
-
the best lamb on the planet because he has an order to how he barbecues.
-
Life should not be a hit and miss. Guys, Father, I
-
thank you today for the message. I pray that it resonates in our hearts.
-
If there's anything that's just simply out of order or misplaced or disorganized,
-
whether it is our money, whether it's our home, whether it is our
-
marriage, whether it's our workplace, whether it is our finances, or even
-
where it's our spiritual life. God put these things back in order so that
-
we can have amazing peace in our lives. Father in Jesus' name, Amen,
-
As we get ready to leave this church, thank you iologize that I
-
was a little bit long today, but thank you for your patience. Please
-
stay to the end. I believe a pastor Sinos will probably pray us out
-
today. But here's what you need to know. I shared that there's an
-
order to tell salvation, order to salvation. Somebody has got to share with
-
you the gospel. Jesus loves you that he died on the cross for your
-
greatest sins. God never wanted you to pay the penalty of those sins,
-
which was go to hell, So he came to this earth to die for
-
you. And Jesus is the only means of salvation. Why because not just
-
because of how he died, but because of how he was resurrected. And
-
there's no other guru philos for a theorist that has ever been resurrected. They
-
may have died, but their body is still in the ground. And Jesus
-
came back to tell us proof of that that I'm the only one that could
-
give life after death. I'm the only one that can guarantee your future because
-
I went there for you. I've been there from you for you. I
-
came there for you today. I want you to recognize, do you feel
-
a level of conviction in your life that you have sin in your life and
-
that those sins need to be forgiven. That's the order of God. And
-
you're ready to repent and say, you know what, I don't know how
-
to do this all. I don't know what I'm doing, but I just
-
know that Jesus is the one to be my answer the remedy of my sin
-
today. So I'm a Christian, but I'm not serving the Lord as I
-
should. And I just want to rededicate my life. I want to recommit
-
my life to God. God never left me, but I've left him.
-
When I count to three, you raise your hand today to accept Jesus and
-
to rededicate your life. It will be the best decision you have ever made.
-
On this fourth of July weekend of twenty twenty four, one two one
-
two three, raise your hand wherever you are, all across this auditorium,
-
say this prayer with to me. Those of you raising your hands or anyone
-
else, say, dear Lord Jesus, you know everything about me. I
-
can't fool you, but I feel the need to be forgiven of my sins.
-
And I recognize that you, Jesus, and you alone can forgive me
-
of my sins. I now ask you to be my Lord and to be
-
my savior, and I give you my life, help me to follow you. Amen.
