  1. Wow, that's got to rank up as one of the

  2. most creative Generosity moments we've had in a long time.

  3. So thank you Professor Levy for instructing us along those lines.

  4. And isn't an amazing Now the church Church is offering you,

  5. you know, a financial university so that you could grow

  6. in all realms, to come out of debt, to buy

  7. a home, to have a second stream of income, to

  8. understand what stewardship may look like in the Kingdom of God,

  9. and help you to be a blessing to your family

  10. and a blessing to others, creating legacy. And so I

  11. know the church doesn't often like to talk about finances

  12. within the church, but you have no problem talking about

  13. finances outside the church. And so I'm glad that we

  14. are coming in to resource our people. And so you

  15. can go to now Generosity University, I guess, and get

  16. a doctorate because some of.

  17. You need one. So it'll be it'll be a great experience.

  18. My next wow is that next week starts Saturday night service.

  19. And you know what, I again, and I've always said this,

  20. I love first So technically this is a reboot of

  21. a first because we used to have it pre COVID.

  22. So you know, it's been nearly four or five six years.

  23. I can't math to do the math. You know, now

  24. five years at least five years since we've had a

  25. Saturday night service.

  26. So it's a reboot.

  27. It's going to meet the needs of people that work

  28. on Sunday morning, that have things they do on Sunday morning.

  29. I know this.

  30. If I didn't have a position of leadership, and I

  31. wasn't the pastor, and I was just a lay person

  32. like you who came to church. I come to Saturday

  33. night service, that would like be my service.

  34. So it gave me the option.

  35. If I want to go have breakfast at Denny's, I'd

  36. get up and have breakfast at Denny's.

  37. If I wanted to leap in, I sleep in.

  38. If I want to go on a long bike ride,

  39. I'd go on a long bike ride. I just love

  40. Saturday night service. As a Catholic, I went to Saturday

  41. night service. Are there any Catholics like me? Ex Catholics

  42. that went to Saturday night service? One ex Catholic? Here,

  43. God bless you in the name of the Father's Son

  44. and Holy Spirit, sprinkle some dust on you.

  45. Amen.

  46. Anyways, I'm just excited about the people that will come.

  47. And now tell your family and friends as you witness

  48. and share that we offer a Saturday night service and

  49. watch what God will do. We're going to pray, stand

  50. on our feet for the reading of God's word, and

  51. we are going to continue in this series on press.

  52. Father, thank you for the few moments that we have.

  53. Thank you that people pushed out through the bad rain,

  54. through the bad weather, through the coldness, because it's important

  55. for them to be here.

  56. God.

  57. They may not know and I may not necessarily know

  58. what you are exactly going to say by the spirit

  59. of God, but we anticipate that we're going to hear

  60. from you God, whether it deals with our past, whether

  61. it deals with our present, or whether it deals with

  62. our future. We just open our heart to hear from

  63. you now in Jesus' name. Amen, stay for standing of

  64. the word. I'm going to read this scripture to you.

  65. We've been in Philippians the whole month, and we're going

  66. to continue here and finish it out. It says, but

  67. our citizenship is in heaven and from it we await

  68. a savior. He's coming back, the Lord Jesus, who will transform.

  69. Our lowly body.

  70. If you don't have a body you like today, it's okay,

  71. You're not going to have that body forever, to be

  72. like his glorious body, a redeemed body by the Lord

  73. that enables him even to subject all things to himself.

  74. Connects to chapter four. Now, therefore, therefore, because you know

  75. your citizens on your way to heaven, and your citizenship

  76. is already sealed in heaven. Today, therefore, my brothers and

  77. whom I love and long for my join crown, you need.

  78. To stand firm against the adversities.

  79. Of life, anything that threatens that citizenship, any difficulty that

  80. you're facing in life. Stand firm in this knowledge. Thus,

  81. in the Lord, my beloved, you may be seated. In

  82. this series we talked through is Pastor Adam Adam, excuse me.

  83. Pastor Aaron talk to us.

  84. A little bit about pressing on and he talked about

  85. crushing it, and that meant the brokenness of our lives

  86. and what suffering God would challenge us to go through.

  87. But we needed to press through that. And then Pastor Adam.

  88. Challenged us with pressing in which dealt with spiritual maturity

  89. and how we are to progress and grow. In the

  90. last week, he talked about pastor Adam did about pressing

  91. out and really talked about our influence and how we

  92. will model and be an example. Today, we're going to

  93. talk about pressing up. That's our up today and we

  94. read it today in Ephesians of Philippi excuse me, Philippians

  95. three twenty, which doubt was citizenship. We are going to

  96. press up. How many of you have ever gone to

  97. a gym and you're going to bench press? To be effective,

  98. you got to press that weight up. And by pressing

  99. it up, you are now building stamina in your life.

  100. You're building muscle in your life, You're building strength into

  101. your life. And only through pressing up in situations, through

  102. God's strength, are we going to gain a spiritual strength

  103. and a stamina in our lives. In worship a few

  104. moments ago.

  105. We lifted our hands, we pressed them up toward heaven.

  106. What was that for? To recognize that I am dependent upon.

  107. You God, I need you, I am not the source,

  108. and I want to exalt you. And that's why we

  109. need to live this pressed up life that reminds ourselves

  110. we aren't in charge and we're dependent upon God.

  111. And if you ever gone to an elevator and you

  112. press you.

  113. Press the up but and the button begins to mobilize.

  114. It begins to activate.

  115. And when you and I live a pressed up life,

  116. we begin to be activated in the Kingdom of God.

  117. With that in mind, I want to break this word

  118. down that we talked about when he talked about citizenship.

  119. Our citizenship is in heaven.

  120. Paul is talking to the church at Philippi.

  121. These are that's.

  122. Where they lived, a city in the Macedonian region, Philippi, Colossia, Ephesus,

  123. they were all they were all in this area, but

  124. they were a providence of Rome, which meant they had

  125. all the benefits of Caesar the Empire. The known strongest

  126. nation of the world was Rome at that time, so

  127. they were well boastrous, very proud of being a Roman citizen.

  128. Even though they were in Philippi. They weren't physically living

  129. in Rome.

  130. They were miles away in Philippi, but their citizenship was

  131. connected to the Empire of Rome. So whatever Rome offered them,

  132. Philippi could benefit from. So they knew exactly what Paul

  133. was speaking of when he talked about citizenship. So he

  134. would say this, Philippi, you pride yourself on your Roman

  135. citizenship and all its benefits that it offers you. Do

  136. you equally pride yourself as citizens of heaven with the

  137. same proudness and boastfulness, or do you consider earthly citizenship

  138. far greater than heavenly citizenship? It would have registered in

  139. their minds the number one country in the world. They're

  140. over two hundred and thirty over two hundred countries in

  141. the world. The number one country where people want to

  142. join and become a citizen is what America? America. Now,

  143. I'm not trying to say anything political, but why are

  144. they all coming here? Are they coming here because they

  145. want to be persecuted? Are they coming here because they

  146. want to live in poverty? Are they coming here to

  147. be slaves? Are they coming here to be in bondage?

  148. They're coming here to America because they love our prosperity,

  149. They love our liberty that we have, they love our

  150. non biasedness.

  151. How many of you hear what I'm talking about.

  152. A diplomatic, democratic way of our nation functioning. And they long,

  153. legally or illegally to become American citizens because they want.

  154. The rights and.

  155. Privileges that America offers them. Was here today, he'd say

  156. don't you Americans love your benefits? God bless America, the red,

  157. white and blue that I put on my house on holidays.

  158. You're very very boastful, and you're very very proud to

  159. be an American. But do you have equal, if not

  160. greater pride in you being a Christian today?

  161. That's what he would tell you. That's what he would

  162. tell you.

  163. I'm gonna ask you a question right now, kind of

  164. put you on the spot. Is there anybody here that

  165. was not born an American but you have now become

  166. an American citizen?

  167. Would you raise your hand? Okay, here you go. Look

  168. at that, all right.

  169. I have friends that have gone this way. Okay, they

  170. all share the same thing in common. Tell me what

  171. it felt like to be I'm an American citizen. Tell

  172. me what you felt when you became an American citizen.

  173. They said I cried, They said I was so joyous.

  174. Some say I kissed the ground. Some say I held

  175. that little flag with pride in my hand. I sang

  176. the song with joy. They were overwhelmed. I want to

  177. challenge you, is that how I feel about being a Christian.

  178. I don't give a hill of beans. It's no bigie

  179. it's you know what, Let me put it this way.

  180. So here is my let's just say, my American. This

  181. is my heavenly citizenship card. Okay, this is my heavenly

  182. citizenship card. Keep it in my wallet here, right here,

  183. It's in my heart. Okay, my heaven Oh yes, love

  184. it so much. But I want to ask you a question.

  185. I also I am a membership, a country club membership

  186. because I love golf of the Beechwood Country Club. Here's

  187. what I know. I love being a member there. Get

  188. to tee off anytime I wanted you to walk around

  189. with the VIP big shots. Come on, Pastor Garfield knows

  190. what I'm talking. I don't have to ask for a

  191. tea time. I'm a member. Show up at five, eight

  192. or seven. You better serve me. They call me sir

  193. at the Beechwood Country Club. I'm proud of my membership

  194. at the Beechwood Country Oh. Here's one I'm proud not

  195. in here, but in other church. I'm proud to be

  196. a member of the Rhino Club of Spearmint Club. Come on,

  197. you used to go to Rhino Club. You know what

  198. I'm talking about. Spearmint Club. You're an active member there,

  199. every Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday.

  200. And night with my dollar beals member the Rhino Club.

  201. And some of you aren't just the ones pain some

  202. of you the words was the ones performing. But let's

  203. move on. I'm a fraternity club member. Don't you know

  204. where I graduated from?

  205. I'm a furd.

  206. So Roorday for Ton today, I'm proud.

  207. How do you feel about being a Christian? Eh?

  208. How much money you giving the Kingdom of God concerned it?

  209. But your fraternity?

  210. Eh?

  211. How many home games you go to? How many parties

  212. you go to? Anniversaries and the Kingdom of God? But

  213. here you're all up into your fraternity. Let's get real personal.

  214. I belong to the Dodger Club, Laker Club, Ram Club.

  215. How many of you hear what I'm talking about?

  216. Season ticket holder, never miss a home game.

  217. She even traveling the visitors game.

  218. But I don't know when the next time I'm coming

  219. to church, though, hallelujah.

  220. Premier Club of whatever that is.

  221. I don't even know what that is, Premier Club, but

  222. it's a club out there.

  223. Some of you are proud of your Costco club.

  224. Oh, I can have all these samples if I want,

  225. Do you see this.

  226. I'm a member of Costco.

  227. You get which are those giant oversized shopping carts and.

  228. You pack it up?

  229. How many of you here I'm talking because you're a

  230. Costco member? You proud of your Costco membership?

  231. Hollywood Film Club here, or for some of you, you

  232. like all those designer clos VERSACEI, Gucci.

  233. How many of you know I'm talking. Coach, you're listen.

  234. I'm a VIP member. They said I could come Friday after.

  235. Hours or before the Christmas sale, and I'm gonna be

  236. there because I love my membership.

  237. But how do we feel again about this heavenly membership?

  238. Does it have to compete with all those other memberships

  239. in your life? That's what he was drawing from from

  240. our lives, and so from that, I want to give

  241. you three v's that will minister to us today. Three

  242. v's to talk to us about the benefits of being

  243. a citizen of Heaven. The first one is the victory

  244. that you and I walk in. We walk in the

  245. victory of Heaven today. I love this scripture and I'll

  246. give I'll give them. I'll give two of them together

  247. right now. But the first one, I'm sorry I lost

  248. my point, my pipad is going really crazy right now

  249. Ephesians two and verse nineteen. So you then are no

  250. longer foreigners and strangers, but fallow citizens with the saints

  251. and members of the household of God. An I'm not

  252. a nobody, I'm not a worm, I'm not worthless.

  253. I'm not even a sinner anymore.

  254. I could still sin, but I'm not a sinner anymore.

  255. I have the victory today.

  256. Here's another great scripture that's found in the Bible in

  257. Romans or Romans has go to Romans pleece. It says,

  258. what then shall we say to these things?

  259. What things?

  260. The things that you are facing today, a bad marriage,

  261. health issues, financial downturn in your life, job related problem.

  262. What shall you say to those things?

  263. Speak to them. Here's what you're to say those things.

  264. If God before me, who can be against me? God

  265. is for me today. That's a place of victory that

  266. you and I have to walk in. I'm walking in

  267. the victory today of Jesus Christ.

  268. How he died on the.

  269. Cross, how he went down to Hell, how he script

  270. principalities and powers, made a show of them, openly triumphanting

  271. over them in it. How he took the Gay's gate,

  272. the keys of death, how and the grave against Satan

  273. put our enemy under our feet today, and we are

  274. seated in heavenly places. Christ Jesus, I'm victorious today. I

  275. have problems, but I'm victorious today. I have challenges, but

  276. I'm victorious today. I have opposition, but i am victorious today.

  277. All because Jesus was victorious. I am victorious today. And

  278. I will walk in the privileges of that, and I'll

  279. walk in the authority of that. So when the enemy

  280. comes against me, I will remind him that he is

  281. a defeated foe, and that he is a liar in.

  282. The name of Jesus.

  283. And I will remind him of his future and what

  284. that looks like when he is cast out into hell itself.

  285. I'll remind him of what Jesus did to him when

  286. he stripped him of his authority. So you and I

  287. have a level of victory that you and I walk

  288. in today. We have victory. We fail sometimes, but we're

  289. not a failure. Peter failed, but he wasn't a failure.

  290. David failed, but he was a failure. John Mark failed,

  291. but he wasn't a failure. Jonah failed but he wasn't

  292. a failure. Abraham failed, but he wasn't a failure, and

  293. you're gonna fail.

  294. But I'm not a failure. I'm not a failure.

  295. Because I have the victory because I'm a citizen of heaven,

  296. and failure people don't go Failure people don't go to heaven.

  297. Losers don't go to heaven. I have the victory today

  298. in all heirs of my life. I'm not fighting for victory.

  299. I'm fighting from victory now. I want to say this

  300. because this revolutionized my understanding when I was going through

  301. terminal cancer stage four, and people don't understand this, but

  302. I had to get the revelation of it because I

  303. thought I was fighting for my health, I was fighting

  304. for my healing.

  305. I was fighting for my victory.

  306. But when the revelation came that two thousand years ago

  307. Jesus really bore my sicknesses and diseases on the cross

  308. and that past tense by his stripes, I am healed.

  309. I fast forward it through application into my life today

  310. and the victory was wrought two thousand years ago. So

  311. I'm healed today in Jesus' name. I'm not fighting for victory.

  312. I'm fighting from a place I'm already healed sickness and

  313. disease an enemy, and our enemy has already been defeated. Now,

  314. diego walk in that, now, Diego rest in that now, Diego.

  315. Now accept that it has to be a revelation.

  316. And I've seen so many of my friends not understand

  317. that you're fighting from a place of victory. When on

  318. our fourth day, my wife's lovely Sindy try to impress

  319. me by making me dinner, and so she made a

  320. pot roast for me, and so I anxiously sat at

  321. the table and she brought in this pot roast, and

  322. you know, it smelled really good and it looked good.

  323. How many have ever been a place where you didn't

  324. know what to do when.

  325. People asked you do you like it? What does it

  326. taste like?

  327. And you're not sure if you should give them the

  328. honest answer or just smiles. Oh, this is the best

  329. post row I've ever tasted in my life. Thank you,

  330. as you are just chewing it two hundred times, looking

  331. for a chainsaw to cut the meat with. Let me

  332. see if I could be Do you have a wife

  333. like mine? She's always watching the cookie shows. But I'm

  334. waiting for it to every lived out in my home.

  335. Why are you watching all these cooking show? Can you

  336. bake a cookie for me? I's the least.

  337. Anyways, let's back to the story. Anyways, I came to terms.

  338. But I did not marry my wife for her cooking.

  339. I married my wife for her heart. Jesus did not

  340. marry you for what you could do for him. He

  341. married you for what he could do for you. See

  342. you and I walk and live in a place of

  343. absolute victory in our lives. What is the opposite of victory?

  344. Is it defeat? I'll give you another word. It's a victim.

  345. And can I be honest with you. A lot of

  346. us walk around as victims. Didn't have a daddy. That's

  347. why I do what I do. I'll take care of mine. Listen,

  348. you didn't have a man. Your husband cheat on you.

  349. I don't trust these men out here. You got to

  350. do for yourself, girl, victim. Hallelujah, praise. So I'm going

  351. to church on saiday, you want to come with me.

  352. The Bible says you have the victory. You're telling me

  353. that no matter what devastation that has taken place in

  354. your life, God cannot redeem it. So you're gonna go

  355. your whole lifetime talking about what happened to you rather

  356. than what's promised to you, and you can carry that

  357. negative attitude with you. Woe is me, like Eyre, I'll

  358. never have a husband, I'll never have a job, I'll

  359. never be successful, never have a man loved me, will

  360. never have anything good to me.

  361. It'll never work, never work, never work, never work.

  362. Victims victims, victims, victims, victims. I'm not walking around as

  363. a victim. Yeah, bad things happen to me. I was dejected.

  364. I was rejected. Who in this room hasn't been lied to, betrayed,

  365. taken advantage of If we want, we could all be

  366. change some massacres and kill the whole world away based

  367. on what happened to us. What am I talking about?

  368. I'm eight years old. I have a little red skateboard

  369. with steel wheels, because that's what they look like. Back then,

  370. when I was a little boy and I had a

  371. sidewalk and there was a down it was a little

  372. bit of a downhill grade that ended in a coda sack.

  373. In my neighborhood, the only day you could.

  374. Really play was Saturdays after you did your chores. So

  375. you wanted to play all day. I'm only about eight

  376. years old. I get my little red skateboard and I'm

  377. going down. Don't even just have to push one time

  378. and then gravity will take me. And there I go,

  379. you know, going sound like this, clickcake, kick, kick, kake,

  380. click take. As I'm passing the lines on the sidewalk,

  381. go walk back up the little hill.

  382. And I go down kick. I'm mine in my own business.

  383. I'm eight years old, and all of a sudden, I

  384. go kikeke, kickick, and a man crunk comes out from

  385. the house and he says, don't be riding your skateboard

  386. on this sidewalk anymore. I'm trying to get some sleep.

  387. You could begin to see Diego and his nature. I

  388. thought to myself, you don't own this sidewalk. So I

  389. walked up that street again and went down kick, and

  390. he came out and he looked at me, and he

  391. shook his finger at me, and I just scared him down,

  392. a eight year old boy, And I looked at him

  393. and walked right up the street again.

  394. Click CLICKI kick.

  395. This time he was standing right in front of me.

  396. He had a hack saw in his hand.

  397. He got he.

  398. Got the red skateboard, and he cut it in half

  399. right in front of me, and he handed me both

  400. gospel stores. It's your story handing me both pieces of

  401. the skateboard. Today, if anybody has a right to be

  402. a chainsaw killer and kill every one of you and.

  403. Be a victim, I'm gonna get me mine and you

  404. ain't gonna do me. And I'm making up.

  405. For the fact that someone took my little red skateboard

  406. and I would.

  407. Have been a happy little boy.

  408. I would have grown up successful, and I would have

  409. been somebody. I probably would be a skater today. I

  410. probably have a skating company. You probably hear about Diego

  411. and not Tony Hawk. But I've got out jackedub. So

  412. why don't I have a rat? I have a rat.

  413. I'm a citizen of Heaven. I'm not a victim. I'm victorious.

  414. Lady named Sarah. She's living in Manhattan. She's on her

  415. way to a business meeting. The car picks her up

  416. in Manhattan. She's dressed very nicely in a business suit,

  417. wearing a blouse.

  418. She blows her nose with a tissue.

  419. When she does that, her nose begins to bleed, but

  420. she can't stop it, and she's getting tissue after tissue

  421. and it bloodies her white blouse. She can't go to

  422. her meeting to work that way. She turns her asks

  423. the driver to turn back around. She runs into her

  424. flat and she changes into another white blouse. At that moment,

  425. she feels her building shake and it's overwhelming the noise

  426. that is taking place. She turns on the TV and

  427. she sees the first tower on nine to eleven fall,

  428. and that's where her business meeting was. And it dawns

  429. on her that the blood covered and protected me from

  430. dying in that meeting.

  431. I have the victory.

  432. Because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ that covers

  433. me and my family and my children. That reminds the

  434. devil that I am no longer his property. I am

  435. off limits, I am protected, i am washed, I'm cleansed,

  436. I'm redeemed, and I'm forgiven.

  437. Oh, because I've been covered in the blood of Jesus Christ.

  438. The second thing, the second thing, the second view, because

  439. I'm a citizen, I have victory. The second one is

  440. because of this, I have values in my life. There

  441. are certain values that an American citizen lives by.

  442. If you have a membership.

  443. At a country club, or at a gymnasium, or you

  444. work at a job. There are certain values that your

  445. company carries and you are to represent that value. One

  446. of the most exclusive clubs that people long to join

  447. is something called Club thirty three. Does anybody know what

  448. Club thirty three is? Half of you, only five of you.

  449. The rest of you need to get out. You need

  450. to come to You need to come to the university

  451. Generosity University so that you could finance your money so

  452. that you could become members of Club thirty three.

  453. It's an exclusive club Disneyland where the Pirates of the

  454. Caribbean is. It's somewhat of a ten to thirteen year weight.

  455. You have to make a certain amount of money. They

  456. take a certain amount of money. You got to give

  457. them to.

  458. Be a member of Club thirty three, to have Mickey

  459. in your corner. And these people, if you know them,

  460. they pride themselves on being members of Club thirty three. Recently,

  461. it happened that Scott and Diana Anderson just got booted

  462. out of Club thirty three all because Scott was seen

  463. drunk walking the property of Disneyland.

  464. He violated a value and.

  465. Is no longer given membership anymore to Club thirty three.

  466. That's Disneyland that has values. Your job has value. Marriage

  467. is supposed to have values. What we do and what

  468. we don't do, where we go and where we don't go.

  469. We are to have values in raising our children, who

  470. we hang around, what we watch, and what we listen to.

  471. We need to have health values. This is what I

  472. eat and this is what I don't eat. It's all

  473. about values in our lives. And when we become citizens

  474. of God and citizens of Heaven, then we are to

  475. partake of the values that are in heaven. The values

  476. that are represented in heaven. I name I have a

  477. few of them. Generosity, holiness, obedience, love, respect, honesty, courage, faith, patience.

  478. These are our values as Christians. We value coming to church.

  479. It's a value. I value tithing. Financially, it's a value

  480. of mind. You say, I value serving, sharing my gifts

  481. with others. It's a value of mine. You and I

  482. in the Kingdom of God ought to express our values. Now,

  483. when I got saved, it took me a minute to

  484. have certain Christian values. And so one of the values

  485. of when I was in the world was that I

  486. loved to drink, and my drink of choice was beer.

  487. I grew up in a world where.

  488. Yellow jackets are what my family drank. I could see

  489. that nobody knows what yellowjackets are cores.

  490. So I love to drink beer.

  491. But it took me a minute to take on a

  492. Christian value. Another thing that I had was I loved

  493. to gamble when I lived in the culture of the world,

  494. when I had the values of the world. When I

  495. was a citizen of the world, I just was a

  496. byproduct of my environment.

  497. I was trying to.

  498. Act cool, I was trying to act marchall. I was

  499. trying to impress the ladies. I was a citizen of

  500. the world. Therefore I acted like the world. But then

  501. I joined the Kingdom of God. That privilege was extended

  502. to me. He didn't discriminate toward me. He extended it

  503. in love and mercy. He didn't offer me what are

  504. you offering me? He offered me everything. And now I

  505. want to have new values.

  506. But I drink.

  507. And I love to gamble. Shoe Nobody knows what I'm

  508. talking about. The thrill that goes into you when you

  509. lay it down, when you throw it down, when you

  510. spin it, when you bet it.

  511. Come on, you all get lottery tickets.

  512. Y'all buy your lottery till you don't act like you

  513. don't know what I'm talking about. Took me a minute

  514. to change that value. I was a bull driver. Do

  515. you know what a bull driver is? As somebody who

  516. can't tell the truth. He'll lie to you and tell

  517. you anything you.

  518. Want to hear.

  519. If you hear what I'm talking about, you're lucky. If

  520. you get the truth out of me. All bull drive

  521. you up and down?

  522. What do you want to hear?

  523. I have the gift of communication. I have the gift

  524. of tongue. I have the gift of talk. I have

  525. the swag in me. What do you want to talk about?

  526. Like Jacob? Yeah, I was in the Olympics. Sure, nineteen

  527. eighty four. I was in the Olympics. I was a

  528. box sermon but man, they call me master Blast. I

  529. was in the DJ industry. Maybe you saw them in man.

  530. I was part of the disco movem. I guess think

  531. I call crack.

  532. Some right now? Watch ooh Yeah, it took me a

  533. minute to change my values.

  534. Tell me you it's taking longer than a minute. But

  535. I'm glad you're here today because I'm here to tell

  536. you that now you're a Christian who's a citizen of

  537. the heaven.

  538. And you now got to change your values. How do

  539. you do that? Bro?

  540. How do you do that? Because it's still a struggle

  541. for me. I'm glad you asked.

  542. See.

  543. I have this nineteen sixty three Volkswagen Beetle, this bug,

  544. and I bought it, and to get it insured, I

  545. had to declare a value on it to get it

  546. insured in case it got stolen and got in an accident.

  547. So I got it and I put eighteen thousand.

  548. Dollars, not what I paid for it, Okay. Then I

  549. started putting money into it, but postery and you got

  550. a paint job. So I had to raise the value

  551. of it. Then I had a big engine put in it.

  552. She could race a little bit and have fun. Not really,

  553. but I did put a big engine in. So I

  554. had a call and I raised it to thirty five

  555. thousand dollars. How was I able to raise my value?

  556. I called my agent and I asked him, can I

  557. raise my value? Some of you need to raise your

  558. value in the Kingdom of God?

  559. How do you do it?

  560. You can't do it on your own. The victory is

  561. not in you. The victory is in him. You don't

  562. have the strength to change. You don't have the strength

  563. to be faithful to one woman if you're married. You

  564. don't have strength as a single to stop forticating. It's

  565. the victory is in him. He's the supplier of it.

  566. So I went to my agent and I asked, and

  567. he raised it. So your agent is the Holy Spirit. Say,

  568. Holy Spirit, I can't give up that drink, and I

  569. can't give up that fornication. I can't give up that masturbation.

  570. I can't give up that pronongreation. I can't give up

  571. that naggin. I can't give up that gossiping. But you

  572. asked the Holy Spirit to now come so that he

  573. could start raising your Christian values in you. It's the

  574. help of the Holy Spirit that will help you to

  575. raise your values. Values are not determined by times and

  576. seasons and environments. They're not predicated on those things. Values

  577. are based upon your fear of God and how much

  578. you love God. I'll move on to my last point

  579. with the three minutes that I have. Mcdonna will be

  580. a picture behind you. Maybe you've seen this actor. He's

  581. a pretty famous actor Neil mcdonna, and he has lost

  582. been fired off of sets, TV and movie.

  583. He has lost million dollar contracts.

  584. He is now labeled by some companies as blackballed, on

  585. the black ball list because he will not do any

  586. nude scenes. He will not allow himself to see a

  587. nude woman, he will not embrace a nude woman, he

  588. won't take off his clothes. He now has elevated it himself.

  589. He will not, in for a scene kiss another woman.

  590. And this was a statement, the only woman that I

  591. will kiss is my wife and not another.

  592. Wow.

  593. Values, does that challenge you? Because really, for us, it's

  594. all about money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money mine.

  595. I ain't turning down a contract. I'm walking away from cash.

  596. And we got to raise our values. I'm not part

  597. of this world system. I'm part of a heavenly system.

  598. And the last word is the word vantage. Because I'm

  599. a citizen, I walk in victory. Because I'm a citizen,

  600. I have values, certain values in my life. Places I

  601. go in, places I don't go, things I do, and

  602. things I don't do. When I was in the world,

  603. I maybe didn't possess those, But now I'm a citizen

  604. of God. But now I have vantages in my life.

  605. Vantages you've heard of this, like come to this point

  606. of vantage. This is a point where you can see

  607. things that you can't see normally.

  608. They're called vantage points.

  609. Everywhere you go there's like some kind of vantage point

  610. on a cleft, like in a in a park, somewhere

  611. around mountains, there's vantage points. And if you can get

  612. to that vantage point, then all that can obscure your

  613. vision is taken away. Like I go up here mountain

  614. biking and from this one vantage point, I can see

  615. Catalina Island, I see past Alay, I see past the ocean,

  616. and I can see cattle, but I can't see it

  617. from any other point than that vantage point. And when

  618. I'm biking with somebody who's not been up there, I'll say,

  619. come on up here, well, why it's higher, it's can

  620. I No, don't come on, just come come come with me,

  621. Come with me.

  622. And so they follow me up and I'll say look

  623. over there, and I say, wow, I'm glad I came

  624. up here.

  625. See, you have a vantage point. And the fact is

  626. that you're going home one day. This isn't your home.

  627. The Bible says you're a soul journer, a pilgrim, which

  628. means a temporary resident on this earth, just passing through.

  629. I'll be here for a minute, but I long for

  630. my real home, the place that God has prepared for me.

  631. That one day he will descend with a shout, the

  632. voice of the archangel, the triping of God, and I'll

  633. be caught up to meet him in the air and

  634. forever be with the Lord. Then when I die, I'm

  635. going to my real home called heaven. How many of

  636. you have ever gone to a luxury vacation. I don't

  637. care where it is. Name your favorite place you've ever

  638. gone to. Somebody might say somewhere in Europe, or a

  639. Hawaii or wherever it is.

  640. How many of you enjoy it?

  641. You loved it, but it wasn't your home, no matter

  642. how pleasurable and enjoyable it was. I can't wait to

  643. get home. And there's no place like home. No matter

  644. what enjoyment there is on this planet.

  645. It's not my home.

  646. I wait to get home one day where I enjoyed

  647. the majesty, the beauty. I'll look down at the rivers

  648. of life. I'll see the tree of life. I'll see

  649. the Foundations of God.

  650. And all the Jaspers, and.

  651. All the Emeralds, and all the Sapphires, all the jewels

  652. of the world will be in the foundation. I'll walk

  653. the concrete, the sidewalks they're in gold.

  654. I'll walk into the throne room of God and.

  655. I'll see his Majesty, and I'll see.

  656. Him face to face.

  657. No more stagnation, no more interruptions.

  658. I will forever be the Lord. Now that I have

  659. that vantage point, I want to take other people with

  660. me so that they can experience that vantage in their life.

  661. Thank you Lord.

  662. As I end this message, the individuals that has to

  663. raise their hands that became American citizens to be illegal

  664. American citizens, then this is what you have to do.

  665. You have to raise your right hand of some form

  666. or fashion, and you have to repeat these words. So

  667. this is what if you were going to be an

  668. American citizen, you would have to say, I here by

  669. declare an oath that I absolutely and entirely renounce, reave this,

  670. and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any other foreign prince, ponent, state,

  671. and sovereignty of whom of which I hear too fro

  672. have been subject or a citizen. I'm turning my back

  673. on the country that I'm coming from to embrace this

  674. new country.

  675. Am I doing that as a Christian? Watch?

  676. Here's my Christian pledge that I'm going to add. I

  677. hereby declare on oath that I absolutely entirely renounce Hell,

  678. the devil, worldliness, carnality, and flesh, and I abjure allegiance

  679. and fidelity. That means I reject allegiance and fidelity to

  680. any idol, to any God of whom which and hereafter

  681. here toofro I've been a citizen or subject a.

  682. Bondage to watch.

  683. A second pledge you have to make that I will

  684. support and defend the Constitution and the laws of United States.

  685. We need I think we need to.

  686. Send this to all Americans again, because I don't think

  687. we know what we've been living this out, that I

  688. will support and defend the Constitution and the laws of

  689. the United States of America against all enemies, even.

  690. If they're nice, even if they're cued foreign and domestic.

  691. Here's my Christian that I will support and defend the Bible,

  692. the scriptures, and the Word of God against all enemies,

  693. foreign and domestic, publicly, privately, at work or in my home.

  694. Third pledge that I will bear truth and allegiance. It's

  695. to the same that I will bear arms.

  696. Look at this. You didn't even know you have to

  697. do this.

  698. Look at what it says you're supposed to do in

  699. American City. That I will bear arms on behalf of

  700. the United States when required by the law. An enemy

  701. comes into your neighborhood, is going to abduct your children.

  702. You got your right to pull out your glock and say, hey,

  703. s you've seen John Wick.

  704. You belt ready to experience John Wick right now. I'm

  705. gonna love you, pray for you. You need to know. Do

  706. you know Jesus as your Lord's Savior?

  707. Because you're gonna go to heaven right now after I'm

  708. done with you. But whatever WAT says, here's my Christian value.

  709. That I will bear truth and allegiance to God the same, yesterday, today,

  710. and forever more. That I will bear arms on behalf

  711. of God in spiritual warfare against Satan and all his

  712. devices when required by the law, fight for you, our family.

  713. That I will perform non.

  714. Combative services in the armed forces of United States when

  715. required by law. Here's your Christian constitution that I will

  716. perform non combative services, being a working Christian, serving, giving

  717. and loving and praying in the armed forces of God

  718. when required by God.

  719. Amen, come on.

  720. Hold your hand up, Father, in Jesus' name, we hold

  721. our hands up in allegiance to you, Oh God, that

  722. we are not earthly citizens, we are heavenly citizens.

  723. And because of.

  724. That, we walk in a victory that you have given us.

  725. And we will display your values that represent who you are.

  726. And we long for the dvantage of one day returning

  727. back to our real home, the place that you have

  728. been preparing for us. We want to see what you've

  729. prepared for us. In Jesus' name, Amen, I'm gonna ask

  730. that nobody moved. We're gonna walk out of this room

  731. together in a matter of moments. Pastor Aaron, I you

  732. praying us out? Who's praying us out? Pastor Adam, somebody's gonna.

  733. Pray us out.

  734. I'm gonna ask you not to leave until our pastor

  735. comes out to pray us out.

  736. Because how many of you, how many of you leave work.

  737. Five minutes before you're supposed to, How many of you

  738. leave work tomorrow? I want you to go to your

  739. job and say I'm out.

  740. Of here five minutes?

  741. How many of you walk out before the end of

  742. the movie. We're citizens of heaven. Don't treat God's kingdom,

  743. God's work better than you do the world. Wait to

  744. the very end. Life and death are held in the balance.

  745. We got word again of another tragic thing that happened to.

  746. One of our members. It grips our heart because we

  747. see them.

  748. We just saw them on Sunday, and it usually goes like, list,

  749. how did it happen? And usually happens they were on

  750. a highway.

  751. Or a freeway. They got hit by a drunk driver.

  752. Our heart's broken.

  753. They went in for minor surgery, no complication, but the

  754. doctor couldn't revive them. They bled to death. Oh my god,

  755. how's the wife doing? How's the kids doing? They're doing

  756. something they've done a thousand times.

  757. It's not risky.

  758. But a tire blows out, a glass comes, a piece

  759. of metal comes, and it severs and kills them.

  760. And we are overwhelmed.

  761. I want you to live another hundred years, and I

  762. don't want to put gloom and doom into your life.

  763. I just want you to be ready, whether it's tonight

  764. or whether it's one hundred years from No, just live

  765. in a place. I'm ready when those accidents or times

  766. not a heart attack comes or whatever it is that

  767. you're going to transition.

  768. Sometimes you don't have enough time. Jesus. Now I accept you.

  769. I give my life to you. Now, I really believe

  770. in you. Now you don't have time.

  771. But if it's already done, you don't have to worry

  772. about it. And when you die and stand before God,

  773. you won't look at him at like a stranger, or

  774. you won't be mystified to wonder what's going.

  775. To happen next, and fear won't grip your heart. You

  776. have said, oh this is Jesus. I can't wait to

  777. see what he has for me.

  778. I remember when I made him my Lord and Savior

  779. at that church called Patreon a Sunday morning. It was rainy,

  780. And now I'm at peace with what's about ready to happen.

  781. I want you to have that assurance. You could be

  782. like me, grown up in a religious institution but far

  783. from God. Have all the Jesus you want in your head,

  784. but it's not manifested in a lifestyle. Or today you

  785. could say I've accepted Jesus, but you know what he

  786. never left me. I've left him. I've wandered, I picked

  787. up the ways of the world. When I count to three,

  788. you raise your hand and we're going to pray for

  789. you no matter.

  790. Who you are. Don't be ashamed. One two, one, two.

  791. Three, raise your hand wherever you are. I want to

  792. say a prayer with you. Would you repeat eat these

  793. words after me?

  794. Say?

  795. Dear Lord Jesus, you know everything about me. You knew

  796. me and my mother's womb. You know my social security,

  797. you know my blood type. I can't fool you. But

  798. right now, in front of these people, I acknowledge I

  799. need a savior. I can't save myself from my sins.

  800. I don't have a heaven that I have created that

  801. I could go to. But through you I am forgiven today.

  802. I am cleansed today through your precious blood.

  803. Jesus. Would you be my lord? Amen? Thank you about family.

  804. Can we celebrate those There were hands across this whole

  805. room this morning. Once you know God loves you and

  806. today is the beginning of your new life, and so

  807. we want to help you in your next steps. And

  808. so if you would take a monk, if you just

  809. accepted Jesus Christ and visit www.

  811. We have a little book there to help you in

  812. your next steps. It just explains a little bit as

  813. what you just did when you roise your hand, what

  814. does that mean, What is the role of the Holy

  815. Spirit in your life? What does it mean to come

  816. to church? What does it mean to find community and

  817. walk with the Lord? And so we hope that you'll

  818. visit that site and download that. And if you don't

  819. have a home church, then we would love to see

  820. you back here at Patriot.

  821. Where you have a family. Will you stand with me.

  822. We're gonna leave together family like we do at the

  823. end of every service. We have an amazing prayer team

  824. that will be up here at the altar. If you

  825. are in need of prayer for anything that you may

  826. be going through or coming up going into. We would

  827. love to take a moment to stand in agreement with you.

  828. So just come on down up here to the front.

  829. We hope to see you this Wednesday or next month.

  830. Let's pray. Lord. We thank you Father for this word Today. God,

  831. we thank you Father for Jesus. God.

  832. May we leave here God challenged God to press up more. God,

  833. we thank you Father for the Holy Spirit.

  834. In our lives.

  835. God who help us, correct us, and guide us and

  836. lead us. Father, as we walk this journey of faith

  837. with you, Lord, we thank you Father for Jesus in
