And tie and give offering regularly. One exciting weekend I

hope you guys have already had a chance to enjoy

so far.

The courtyard is open after two.

Years working on that project, and the north side is open.

Next thirty days, the south side will be open, and

just so incredible to open it last night and then

even throughout today seeing so many families enjoy it. And

within a month our south side will be open, more

fire pits, more places to sit, some activities people are

gonna do right after that thirty days where we have

a new coffee shop renovation that we're doing. It gets

put in right after the south side's done, and then

we bring our retail center. We're bringing that in the

courtyard as well, and so really leading up towards going

over the next sixty days, that whole courtyard's gonna look

completely different. But more than that, I want to say

thank you not to those that just regularly give, but

those who gave towards the past vision Sundays outside all

of that shade, everything from the Lucky Climber to all

of the fire pits. That was a one point seven

million dollar project, about seven hundred that's a big project.

We could collap towards that. That's great, but here's the

better news. You guys are church. We take care of it.

We took care of it. There was no loan that

had to be pulled. We didn't borrow from nobody. We

didn't call an old homie from.

The streets and say.

Hey, can we get a couple million and in a

couple of years get you back our church. We gave

towards it. Your regular offering covered about a million dollars

of it, and in the past two years for our

Vision Sundays, our Anniversary Sundays, you gave towards it about

another seven hundred thousand dollars.

And so when we need when we.

Even did it, we set it to be able to

reach families and create spaces for community.

We were able to fund it in twenty four months.

And so it's incredible to see what our church can

do collectively together when each person sacrifices, which a little

bit is what we're going to talk about today. But

I'm excited because we're launching a new series that's going

to continue what we see doing in the life of

our church.

And I know that God is going.

To speak to you over the next five weeks as

we do a series together, and here's what I want

to do. Normally we encourage you to take notes in

your Bible or your own journal, but this weekend is

something special because over the next five years, we're doing

a series called Beyond, where we take a journey together

to understand how God is taking Patriot beyond places more

than anything we can ask or think. And so part

of this, we've already constructed and put together a journal.

Book for you.

So if you reach behind your seat, there's a slot,

you'll see a journal there. If you're outside, our dream

team will get it to you. There's no slot, but

you'll see a booklet journal that we've given you. If

you're up in the theater seats, you're gonna see our

dream teams passing about to you right now because you

don't have a slot behind your seats. Plastic back there,

but everybody has this, and you can see it's so nice, like.

It's thick paper, like that's not the cheap stuff.

It's like some of it's flat, like it's not even shiny.

Some of it is like it's just this is fancy,

this is you know. And so we asked that you, guys,

bring this for the next five weeks to church. Every

time you come to church, bring this with you. This

book is gonna have information for you. It has testimonies

in there of what God has done through the lives

of people at our campuses.

It also has.

A daily devotional, so if you want to grow in

your faith, every Monday through Friday for the next five weeks,

every single day there's a daily scripture and a daily

reflection for you as well.

And so we thought it all out for you.

You can have this with you every single day and

you can go through it. But I know everybody, here's

a LOOKI lude don't be looking through it yet.

Okay, he's sneaky. People.

Just go to page twenty one. That's where we're gonna

be at. That's sermon notes. Page twenty one is where

you're gonna find ourselves. You have a card on page

twenty one, you just said it to the side because

this is where you can take notes today. And then

also the next page after that it says Monday, that's

the scripture we're gonna read today. So if you didn't

bring a Bible, you'll be able to join us in.

The scripture reading. That we have.

So if you have a Bible you want to follow

along or in your journal that you have today, go

to Ephesians chapter three, verse twenty. You can go to

Ephesians chapter three, verse twenty. Try to remember this every

single week. Don't try to collect it. They're not Pokemon cards, okay,

so each one costs money, so don't forget one next week,

and then by the end of this have five journals,

you know, try to keep it with you.

If you forget it.

Once, that's okay. We'll try to get you one. But

and if you don't get one, dream team, we'll start

getting them to you'll get them by the end of

service as they're gonna work to get all the.

Extra booklets and stuff like that.

Well, if you're ready for the reading of God's word today,

we just stand as we honor God.

We're gonna read one verse today.

We're gonna read quite a bit of scripture, but we're

gonna launch with one passage of scripture today and allow

God to speak to us through this. Here's what Ephesians

chapter three, verse twenty says, Now to him speaking of God.

Now to God who is able to do far more,

someone say.

Far more abundantly beyond.

Someone say, beyond all that we ask or think, according

to the power.

That works within us. So let's read it one more time.

Now, to him who is able to do far more

abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to

the power that works within us, you may be seated.

Isn't that powerful?

Apostle Paul says in Ephesians that God can go beyond

anything you think or you ask, and he does it abundantly.

He does it abundantly, and his power works in us

when we follow Jesus. God's power, by the gift of

the Holy Spirit in enables you to do things, to

see things that go and stretch far beyond anything you

or I can ever ask or think.

That's what God wants to do.

God doesn't want to do less than what you can

think or what you can ask. The Scripture say that

Jesus says that if you pray according to the will

of God, God will answer all things that you pray.

If it's according to the will of God. God wants

to exceed our prayer life. God wants to exceed the

things that we ask for. And as a church here

at Patria, we are in a season, we are seeing

God exceed things that we have been believing God for

exceeding things that anything we could ask or think.

This past year, we ended the year with more.

Baptisms we've ever done in one calendar year in the

history of our church in thirty years. Nineteen hundred people

baptized last year alone. I'm believing God that we can

baptize three thousand people this year.

Throughout this whole year.

I know that God can do it, and I'm waiting

for God to exceed everything that we expect and anything

that we ask. Additionally, right now, across America, for every

one church that plants in America, four churches are closing.

In America. There are more churches closing than our opening.

There are more churches that are struggling than are able

to sustain what's going through. COVID had to do with that.

Transitions had to do that. More pastors are aging out

and retiring than they have pastors that want to get in.

How many guys know it's not attractive nowadays necessarily to

be a pastor, and so a lot of people are saying,

I don't want to do that. And so as pastors

are retiring, there aren't enough pastors to come in and

pastor those churches, so instead a lot of them are

just closing, having to close their church doors and not

gather anymore. Then we look at what's happening in our

church right now across all of our three campuses. Each

campus has seen a growth of twenty to thirty percent

in the last twelve months.

With seeing God grow in our.

Church right now at all of our campuses, we are

pretty much completely out of parking at certain services across

all of our campuses, and so many of you guys

were challenged to get into church today just because of parking.

You may look around say, well, we have seats, but

that's why people are sitting in the courtyard. People are

sitting in cafe, people are everywhere around this campus. So

this they may not be in the sanctuary. They're here

on site watching service. And so if everyone we said

everyone leave the courtyard, leave every way comes sit in

the sanctuary, you'd see the sanctuary be completely full. And

so we're out of parking. Our Pomona campus their service,

second service.

They're out of parking right now.

Our Alameda campus that we've had for less than ninety

days since they've become Patriot Alameda.

They have increased by thirty percent at their church campus.

And they have no parking at their church campus because

Alameda is no parking anywhere in that in that city.

But it's a it's it's incredible what God is doing.

It means that in the life of our church, God

is exceeding what we ask or think. But oftentimes you

see the growth of church. But when the church grows,

more than likely what's happening is the people are growing.

And that's why the church is growing.

And we see within our church that there's a hunger

and excitement for people to not only know God, not

only serve God, but to invite their friends to see

what God is doing. And we're seeing more salvations than

we've expected, and we're seeing more children come to our

Children's ministry than was expected. We planned last night for

our Saturday launch to have about fifty to sixty kids.

One hundred and forty kids came to Children's Ministry just

last night alone.

At our Saturday launch.

There were Children's volunteers that told me they were coming

to service, but they luckily keep their sweater in their

car and they went and grabbed their sweater and ran

into service to help serve because God is exceeding our

expectations and God is doing more than anything we can

ask or think of our church. I think of what

God has done over the past thirty years here at

Patrion for the first thirty years us being abundant, living

family church.

I think of in nineteen ninety.

Four, if you're new to Patriot, our church started in Fontana, California,

just one city next door. And we didn't start in

a building like you're sitting in. We didn't start in

a high school or anything like that. We started in

my dad, Pastor Diego's living room, thousand square foot home.

Twelve people came on the first Sunday of worship in

nineteen ninety four, and three kids were in children's ministry,

Me and my two older brothers. That's what kids ministry

consisted of. And our children's teacher was my grandma who

taught us on feltboard, taught Moses, and taught Jesus on

a little felt board. My grandma still helps run our

apl Our Preschool here on site. She's still in the game,

believe it or not, still loving kids and still teaching kids.

Every single week.

Then I think to myselfs those twelve people started inviting friends,

and so twelve became twenty four, twenty four became thirty six,

and sure enough, next thing you know, they had to

go to an elementary school across the street called Shadow

Hills Elementary School in Fontana. And then when Pastor Diego

and the team went to an elementary school just shortly

after that, more people started inviting their friends, and more

people started inviting their families, and more people were getting

saved and more people were getting reached, and so they

thought to themselves, we need to find somewhere that we

can afford that we can move into. Fontana didn't have

anything that they found, but Rancho Cucamonga, there was a

little business complex on Utica, and they moved to Utica,

and in Utica they bought what you see is just

they then buy it. They leased just that little square

right you see in front of you. But more people

started inviting their friends, and more people were inviting their family,

and more people were being saved and more people were

being delivered, and so next thing you know, they had

to lease out the rooms next to it and knock

down walls and lease out the rooms next to those

and knock down walls. And then people said, hey, how

about ministering do our youth? And so then they leased

out a space for youth ministry, and then they leased

out spaces for kids ministry, and that grew so much

that in its heyday there were five to six services

on a Sunday, and Pastor Dia we go how to

preach all of them back to back to back to

back for years. That's faithfulness. Hey, I love you guys,

but I don't know that I'll ever do six services

for y'all.

I'll show you.

The recording that we do on Saturdays if our church

gets that size. But because the leadership of the church,

and it wasn't just Pastor Diego, it was the children's pastors,

the youth pastors. Because every time he added a new service,

that added new ministry, and it needed more people, and

it needed more giving, and it needed more things and resources.

And guess what, every step of the way, people said, yes,

we're here for it, let's do it. But I'm thankful

Pastor Diego didn't say, you know what I'm done, Utica

is enough.

Let's stop here. We're not going to do any more. Services.

People are just gonna have to come and if there's

no room, they're gonna have to leave.

It is what it is.

No Instead, everyone in the church in two thousand and

five said, you know what, we need to buy a

piece of land off Civic Center Drive and we need

to build a church that's forty five million dollars here

at our Rancho campus. Forty five million dollars later, this

gets here, and then all of a sudden people were

coming to the church. They say, you know what, there's

not a church like this in my city. And we

thought to ourselves, you're right. There's incredible churches, but there's

no place like home for a lot of people.

And so God put in our heart.

In twenty sixteen seventeen to plan a new campus, and

we started in Pomona. And we just started with a

few people going to Pomona and holding a few neighborhood parties.

And sure enough, today they are on Laverne and.

There's a thriving church that we bought an old Salvation

Army in twenty twenty one, and they meet there today.

It's over five hundred members that call a Pomona campus

home right now. They're having some of the best Sunday

attendances they've had in the history of their campus.

And it's sure enough.

Just this past summer, we began talks with pastor Fuego

and Tiffany that had a church for three years, and

they said, we want to become a Patriot campus. And

they're right outside of Oakland and Alameda, and then ninety days.

Ago we launched. Less than ninety days.

Ago, in December, we launched Patria Alameda and we invested

two hundred and fifty thousand dollars to renovate their campus.

We renovated and we just built it's actually opened this Sunday.

We built a.

Coffee shop that would be a place where people can gather.

But also we renovated this space because the church is

next to an elementary school called Love Elementary. There was

an old architect named hat h eight and the school

was named after him. It was called Hate Elementary, but

five years ago they changed it to Love Elementary.

And our church is right next to them.

We're right next door, we share the same chain link

fence and Monday through Friday, we're going to open our

coffee shop and we're going to share the love of

Jesus with everyone that's in that community as they come

to drop their children off.

But how many of you guys know every step of

the way.

There were a group of people who said, you know what,

I believe in what God's doing at my church because

what happens is when God is doing something in his church,

it's because people are doing something in your life. And

when God is doing something in your life, there's something

about wanting to tell somebody about what God is doing

in their life your life, and when God is doing

something in your life, people say, hey, well, I want

to see what God is doing because if they're doing

that in your life, maybe he could do it in

my life. And God's not a respector of persons. He

doesn't have favorites. He has favor but he doesn't have favorites.

You may be a product of his favor, but not

a product of his favorites.

And so God shows favor.

But guess what others can see God's favor in their life.

What we've seen as a church is every time we've

added in more seats, every time we've added in more services,

every time we've added in new things that can reach people,

God has added souls and when we gather in a church,

it's not about gathering in a building or four walls.

And you've heard it before where we say the church

isn't a building, it's its people, and the church can

go outside.

Of the physical four walls of the church.

That's true, but how many of us know Oftentimes the

ministry that has been done in your life has happened

in the four walls of a church. A lot of

times where God spoke to you for the first time,

a lot of times where God redeemed you for the

first time. A lot of times the first time you

got victory and freedom often happened in some type of

church service or some type of neighborhood group. That's where

you see God most. And we're seeing at a place

in our church where God is multiplying faster than we

can keep up. We're thankful for that. But you have

two decisions to make if God sends a wave. When

God sends a wave, you can either get your boogie

board out and you can ride it, or you could say, God,

I can't afford a boogie board, give the wave to

someone else. It's only two decisions you can make as

a people. I want you to see this right now, Ina,

not in America. In the world, there's two point two

billion people who call themselves Christians.

There's a little over eight billion people in the world.

Okay, so less than half people call themselves Christian in

the world. Of those two point two billion, a third

of those Christians, seven hundred and four million people call

themselves Christians today because of three spiritual roots that they have.

For us, our church, we're a product of the first one.

We exist today mainly because of this stream that was created,

which six hundred and fifty million people today consider themselves

Christians because of one movement. It was the Azusa Street Revival,

not Azusa the city, but a street in Los Angeles

called Azusa Street. The Charismatic and Pentecostal movement gave rise,

which believed that God still does miracle signs and wonders

today that when you read the Old Testament, you read

the Book of Acts, what God does in there, he

can do that here. And so there was a movement

that started which we're product of that. We have streams

that come from that. And so in nineteen oh six

that happened a little over one hundred years ago. Then

fifty million people call themselves believers today because they trace

their spiritual roots knowingly or unknowingly to Billy Graham the

crusades that he's done all throughout the world. But guess

what majority of all of his crusades started here in

Los Angeles. Lastly, fifty million people today call themselves Christians

due to the Calvary Chapel movement in the nineteen sixties

and the nineteen seventies. You'll see amongst three movements that

happened within one hundred years, all about sixty years apart

from one another, twenty thirty years apart from one another.

But you'll see three large movements that have affected a

third of people on this planet that call themselves Christians.

You can notice, is there one commonality that you see

within that framework. All those movements happened in California. A

third of people today in the world consider themselves Christians

because they've been affected by one of three movements that

started in California. You know, it's been about sixty to

seventy years since the last one of those movements has happened.

You know, if God's done it three times in the

last hundred years, there may be a likelihood He may

do it a fourth time in this next hundred years,

may do it a fifth time in the next hundred years.

What would happen if our prayer he said, God, would

you grace us to be a part of that? If

there be another movement? I think there's no coincidence that

right now. Recently we've launched a campus in northern California

because Patria is now in southern California and we're in

northern California. And God may bring us to other states

in the future, but right now we do fill a

priority to plant churches in California because I believe that

if God is gonna send a wave, I want us

to have church plants and church campuses that are ready

to catch the wave, not only to pastor people, but

to reach people who are far from Jesus. And my

prayer isn't God, let Patria be the center of that movement.

My prayer is, God, if you need a janitor in

that movement, let us our church do it. If you

need a cleanup crew, if you need a crew to

come and set an example of what it means to

care for people, what it means to do the dirty work,

what it means to go out into the streets and

compel people to come to Jesus. Give us whatever task

you want us, God, But what I don't want God

to say is I'm sending it to you, and I say, God,

send him somewhere else. We don't got room, our parking

lots full. We want to be ready for what God

is sending. He's already doing it in our church, and

it doesn't seem like he's stopping anytime soon. My prayer

is that if God does something massive again in the

next fifty years, I sure love us to be a

part of it.

I sure love for us to do our part.

Because I believe there's gonna be a day that you're

gonna meet people in heaven that were a byproduct of

your faithfulness in your obedience. There's gonna be people that

were part of a campus that we touched, a campus

that we reached, a city that we reached, whether it's

in Pomona, Alameda, whether it's in Corona, whether it's in

Los Angeles, San Diego, or anywhere.

Else that God would call us.

People are gonna look at you one day and they're

gonna say, I came into my church broken, I came

into my church hurting. I came into my church lost

and I found Jesus. They came to a building not

to meet four walls, but to meet Jesus, because ministry

happens in our churches, and we want to prioritize that

we preach Jesus so that people can find the hope

of Jesus. Just a couple months ago, I was at

our Midweek or I was at an event that our

Pomona campus was hosting, and I had met a couple

that had been going to our church for about a

year and a half at Pomona. I've never met them before,

but on a Wednesday night, we sent one of our overseers,

one of our board members, Pastor Gerald, to go preach

in our in our in our midweek over there, and

the couple said, thank you so much for coming to

the city of Pomona when our marriage and our life

was at a place we were so broken and we

were so hurting.

And they said, there was a night that Pastor.

Gerald spoke that just broke us and brought us into

relationship with God. And they said, thank you so much

for bringing Patria to Pomona. And the response in my

head was I know they could thank me as the leader,

but more than that, there's a thankfulness that those that

gave in the past four years over two and a

half million dollars to Pomona so that they have a

physical building because they were meeting in a junior high

that they outgrew with no air conditioning and no heating.

Half of us wouldn't go to a church if it

didn't have air conditioning and heating. Pomona had people that

were going to it, and they now have a physical building.

And what I'm thankful for in that moment is.

There were people who resourced so that there would be

a campus, so that there could be a broken couple

that came to church that found Jesus, and now they said,

we're going to do our part the same for the

next city that Patriot is going to, because they understood

that they were impacted because of someone else's belief that

they were valued and they were worthy. We see that

God is doing something special in our church. Acts Chapter two,

verse forty one says this, if you look at the

early Church, you see some incredible things in the early

Church when the gospel begins to be spread, It says this,

So those who received His word that they were baptized,

and there were added that day three thousand souls. And

they devoted themselves to the apostles, teaching to the Word

of God. They devoted themselves to fellowship, to breaking bread,

and to praying over each other and praying to God.

What happens when they do this? Look at this?

What do they do? They commit to gathering around the

word of God. They commit to fellowshiping together, helping each

other out, praying for one another, resourcing each other. It says,

to breaking a bread so they eat his neighborhood groups

for us, and getting around the table with each other,

praying for each other. When they're doing those things together,

what does God do? It says in verse forty three.

And all came upon them, every soul, and many wonders

and signs were being done through the apostles. In other words,

when the church became the church and acted like the church,

when they gathered, God did miracle, signs and wonders, and

a lot of times we may have one of those things,

but we're not committing to all of those things. It

may say, oh, yeah, I commit to go to church,

but I don't want fellowship.

I just don't like people.

Or I commit to fellowship, but I don't commit to

praying because I don't know how to do it, or

I don't want to do it. Or I really like praying,

but I don't like eating with no one because who's

gonna pay the bill? Or I like eating with people

because other people pay my bill, but I don't like

helping someone else out. See sometimes we're doing one or

the other and we say, God, where's your miracles your science?

It says right here, when they were collectively all doing

that together, miracle signs and wonders happen. I believe we're

in a season of growth because I do believe that

through our campuses, you see all these.

Things happening right now, and you see a lot.

Of people, in a large majority of people connected with

what God's doing. Because where you fellowship and where you

receive the Word, it matters. And being under the Word

of God, not a particular church name, but just committing

to being under the Word of God, it matters to God.

When we read an access says that when the Gospel

was proclaimed, people got saved and immediately they start gathering together.

It wasn't the gospel was proclaimed people believed, and then

they said, all right, guys, head out, enjoy your faith

on your own. Here's a handbook. You go do this

by yourself. If you ever seen Star Wars before I

grew up, I was a big Star Wars fan. When

you really pay attention to a lot of the Star

Wars movies, a lot of the premise of the Star

Wars movie, we think it's about the Jedis and we

think it's about the Dark Side and the Good Side,

and there's a large element that that's what that's a

part of, and that's what.

It was written about.

But when you look at the plots of all the movies,

a lot of them surround around trying to destroy the

opposing sid's home base. You think of the Death Star

that becomes the headquarters to the Dark Side, and then

the goal is we got to destroy the headquarters.

If we destroy the.

Death Star, then they won't be able to accomplish what

they're trying to do.

And then vice versa.

When you see Luke's Skywalker and he's in a snow

capped area and they have a base, the Resistance has

a base, what happens the Dark Side is trying to

go and find their base so that they can destroy it,

and that whole battle is all about their headquarters being discovered.

The newest Star Wars movies, it's all about the resistance

having a headquarters, and what does the opposing side.

To try to do. They try to destroy the headquarters.

Because here's the thing.

If someone can destroy your home base, then they can

leave you fragmented and by yourself.

And you'll notice this.

You think of a baseball, right, the point of baseball

is not to hit the ball. That's not the point

of baseball. That's a means to get to where you're

trying to go, which you're trying to get to home base.

And in baseball, the point isn't actually always about hitting

the ball. Sometimes the batter wants to get hit themselves because.

It's all about strategy.

So if it was all about just hitting the ball,

they would just hit it one particular way every time.

But you watch baseball, you're like, why did that I

try to get hit by the ball. Well, he's just

trying to get to first base so another guy on

third base can get to home plate. Because the point

isn't about hitting a ball, well, it's about doing it

in a way that can get everyone to home. I

don't know if you've ever noticed before you've talked to

someone and I've been a product myself of this. You

ever been hurt in church, or you've ever met someone

who's been hurt by someone in church or a church,

and you'll hear.

This a lot.

When someone gets kind of hurt in church, is they'll

say this, I still consider myself a Christian, I just

don't go to church anymore. You ever heard that before? Now,

I'm still Christian, I still believe in Jesus. I don't

go to church anymore. And what happens is what they're

saying is they're saying, oh, I still believe in Jesus,

but I don't have a home base anymore. But you

see when the enemy convinces you to steal your home base,

because what happens is if you could take someone's headquarters away,

you can fragment them. And the Bible says that Satan

goes around prowling like a roar lion, looking who he

may devour. And the reason why he uses the illustration

of a lion is because lions don't hunt healthy herds.

Lions hunt herds and they look for hurting deer, and

hurting deer who are hanging back, those are the ones

they attack. And when you are not connected to a

church home, chances are you may be a deer that's hurt.

And so if Satan convinces you not to have a

church home, then guess who's losing in that?

It's us.

And so what happens is I encourage you that in life,

God may call you to other churches, and God may

call you to other places, and we celebrate that, and

I encourage that someone ever comes to me, he says,

pastor out of I'm called to another church.

I don't go. Why what are they doing that we're not?

God calls you to another church, We say, man, amen,

it's one kingdom and it's all God's work. You want

to go to an church another city, next door. You

want to go to church across the street. Man, we're

so hat you don't like this church.

Tell me.

I'll tell you ten friends that I love that you

should go to their church. But don't ever get to

a place that you say, I don't go to church

anymore because one church hurt me, Because then that means

that you're the one who loses out, because you're the

one that more than likely is fragmented at this time.

God cares about you having a home base.

Whether Patriot is your home base or Patriot Isn't you

need a home base because we see in Acts chapter two,

when the church began to build a home base, God

began to do signs, miracles, and wonders because it wasn't

about a building. It was the fact that they were

all gathering. And guess what, the more people that gather,

the more space that you need. And so don't let

the enemy ever rob you of your home base. Don't

ever let him steal that from you. Don't ever let

him rob that for you. If you feel like you

want a fellowship somewhere else, make sure it comes from God.

And when it comes from God, celebrate that it is.

But don't let the enemy ever steal your home base.

Where you fellowship at and where you go to church.

It does it matters to God. I want to just

share a couple brief points with you as you're taking notes.

I want you to see this. Here's the first note.

I want you to see. First, the God first does

more in us, so that he can do more through us.

God first does more in us, so that he can

do more through us. Look at this Ephesians three twenty.

Now to him who's able to do far more abundantly

beyond all that we ask or think, according to the

power that what works in us. If God is ever

working in your life, which I hear it all the

time for people, Pastor, God's working in my life. If

God is working in your life, then more than likely

he's not trying to get it in you. He's trying

to get it through you. It's not just about getting

it to you, it's about getting it to someone else.

And so when you see God that he's pouring into

Jesus said that his living water overflows. We see in

Ephesius three twenty. God does it abundantly. It's beyond not

only expectation, but it's more than you can handle. Recently,

an organization they just this week they thought it was

my birthday, which my birthday isn't till June. So they

sent me like they sent me like six dozen Crumble

cookies that said happy birthday, Pastor Adam. It was six

months too early. And I'm on a diet right now,

and so I want to know what I did. I

didn't go oh perfect, I'll go freeze these and every

once in a while.

I'll follow them.

No.

Instead, I went and put them in our staff lounge

and we sent a message to our staff and said, hey,

there's cookies for everybody.

When God gave.

Me something that I didn't expect, I wasn't like, well,

if I can't enjoy it, throw it away.

No one else deserves these crumble cookies. Nah, I said, hey,

I don't need all this. I'll maybe take a square

that's it, but the rest give it to everybody else.

You see, when God exceedes and blesses you more than

you expected, I encourage you not to go, oh okay.

Let me go freeze this, let me do it.

It goes God, who if you're doing this in me,

what are you trying to get through me so that

I could bless other people? Because that's what God's trying

to do. He's trying to set you up as a miracle,

as a miracle to what He can do through you.

That's when he can exceed beyond what you imagine. And

you think, here's the second point is this, God does

more in you. When his kingdom matters most to you,

he can do more in you when His kingdom matters

most to you, Matthew six thirty three. But seek first

the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all things

matter they see, and all these things will be added

to you.

Immediately we see what's in the heart of God.

When we seek the Kingdom of God, what will happen

is you'll understand very quickly what's in the heart of God.

I got this little heart right here, And if I

opened your heart, what would be inside of here?

If you opened up Adam's heart.

You know, my wife would be in here, my kids

would be in here, our family, my overall family would

be in here.

Chick fil A would be right here on this side.

A sauce, honey roast of barbecue sauce.

That's all right, this piece right here, that's my heart,

you know, going to the movies.

That'd be something I love. It's enjoy, I rest. There'd

be things that will be in my heart. I wonder

if you cracked your heart, what would be in there.

But here's the thing.

If you opened up God's heart, you want to know

what you would see in that?

People? You it just it would be you be you

and I. It'd be his creation.

That's in the heart of God. You say, God, mountains

in your heart, he'd say, I like them, it's my creation.

God. Are dolphins in your heart? Yeah? They're cool. I

made them.

What about eagles? Those are majestic? Are those in your heart? God?

Yeah, they're cool. God. What about people?

Oh?

I love them so much. I gave them my son.

I love them so much that my son died for them.

That's what's in my heart. I mean, I love them

so much, and I think about them every single day,

and the Spirit of God talks to them every single day,

tries to draw them out to me. Man, I love

them so much. And then my prayer would be, then, God,

can you give me your heart? Because if I'm gonna

seek first the Kingdom of God, it's not to seek

mountains or dolphins or great career, great purpose. Those are

all fantastic things. But if I want to have the

heart of God, it's about people. It's about seeing God

redeem lost people. You and I were once lost. You

may sit here today and you're here curious because you

feel lost.

God cares about you being lost.

God cares about you being broken so much so John

three point sixteen. He gave his son for you and

I so that whoever pairs may have everlasting life that

is in the heart of God.

And if I don't have that heart, then I'm not

seeking God's kingdom.

And guess what, then all things probably will not be

added to me until I start seeking about the things

God cares about.

God cares about lost people.

There's one person in the church who God has seen

done a miracle in their life, and I want to

share with you a little bit about Shelby and what

God has done in his life here at Patriot and beyond.

Check this video out. I, me and Michellee been going

to Patriot for about two years now.

My story starts right in south central Los Angeles. Man

Inglewood definitely in the gang environment, full of gangs, joined

the gang, you know what I mean. I cared for

my mom. I care for her. She began to have

a series of strokes, you know what I mean, And

nobody I knew that I was eighteen. When I was eighteen,

was like out in the streets trying to be a

gang banger and doing all this foolishness and then still

having to make it home to change diapers and cook

food and give bath, you know, give a bath to

their mom when she died. You know, you know, everybody

for every mama's boy, your mom is your world. That

sent me from being a gang member to a gang banger.

If from there it was just like prison. Come back

back to the streets. Prison again. Another case, another charge,

another prison, another case, another charge.

The defining moment for me that I knew.

I needed to serve Jesus was I just I got

arrested and I had my children with me, and I

knew that I had just ruined my children's lives.

And from that moment, I.

Said, I'm gonna serve God. I'm gonna serve God whatever

it is. And it wasn't a prayer of Jesus, please

get me out of this Jesus, you know, please don't

let me go to prison.

For a long time. It was just like I surrender.

Fast forward to this very last prison case, which was

a federal case.

The first cases were like state cases.

You go to the state, do a little couple of

little fights, whatever it is that you go.

Through a couple of years. Come back.

This time around, they were talking life sentence and I

didn't know that you can get a life sentence for drugs.

I passed out in the courtroom, went right down.

So in the fest they go by mandatory minimums, and

a mandatory minimum.

Is you can't get less time than this number.

Anyways, I signed out to the fifteen.

Year mandatory minimum.

And as I'm praying, I'm praying, and I remember, like

I'm fasting, and I go to court and I remember

fasting that night, and I go into court to get

ready to plea, and God was like, don't plea, and

so I don't play. I tell my lawyer said I'm

not going in here. And they don't come back for months.

I'm so worried, like, oh, Manna cap, They're gonna killed me.

It's gonna crucify me, you know what I mean. And

so when they finally come back, there was an issue

with the prosecutor and he's willing to drop the mandatory

minimum from fifteen to ten. He's dropping the firearm portion

of your case.

That's when the miracles started. Right there. COVID comes.

They have a program where they're sending guys home to

serve the time through COVID on an ankle minor. Trump

affected it and he put it in play where guys

were going home under this program. They came to me

and said, you don't really qualify for the program, but

we're gonna go into the warden on your behalf and

see if we can get you this program. And they

come back and sit the ward and say, yeah. So

I get out of prison four years early, expecting to

go back, you know what I mean. And so when

I've come out of prison, I'm looking for church. I'm

looking for a fellowship. I'm looking to you know, find out.

You know, I'm looking for church. But you know, my

aunt Auntie was like, oh, I go to this church

because of COVID. You know, she had been mostly going online.

So the first day, I want to say, it was

Pastor Adam preached a fire message, you know what I mean.

I was like, Oh, that feels good, you know what

I mean. And then maybe the next week it was

Pastor Diego he.

Brings some fire, you know what I mean. And I

was like, Auntie, this feels good.

She was like, I told you, you know what I'm saying.

I felt the need to serve because I was a

servant immediately when I got arrested. Throughout my time in prison,

I was a servant, you know what I mean. I

worked in the hospital in one of the prisons I

was at. I worked in the hospital serving men. We

made me come to serve at the Generosity Center. Was

a friend of the family named Claudia. She was serving here.

The feeling, the camaraderie, the feeling of family here, the

feeling of loving on people as they came through the lines,

people that you know, have been through, coming from whatever

walk of life, whatever place they were coming from, and

they just want to be served. They want to be

loved on. And there was a piece of gold here. Man,

it was a piece of gold.

So, but what the world views you different?

What an ankle minitor versus how the church viewed me.

The Church was accepting, Like the people who I did

tell about it.

You know what I mean, they accepted it.

I remember being right here and josh Joshua Shavich, he said, uh, man,

I know you hot man.

Why why are you always wearing these sweats?

Man?

You know what I mean?

And I took that as God telling me, you are

hiding the blessing that I gave you.

Stop hiding the blessing that I gave.

You, you know what I mean. And that's when they clicked.

And so I'm like, now I'm wearing shorts. Hey, you know,

doesn't even matter. And just up until this Christmas right now,

December twelfth, twenty twenty four, Joe Biden comes out and

says he's grand in clemency to fifteen hundred people from

the Federal Brewer of Prisons and it's two hundred and

twenty thousand people in the Federal Bureau of Prisons and

he picked me. And the funny thing about it is,

I'm not asking for any of it.

It's nothing that I prayed to that God.

But I don't want this monitor anymore, or God give

me out of prison early. I never asked for it,

and that's how I know that it is from God.

Man.

I'm grateful for what God has done for me, but

I'm more grateful for what He has done to me.

And I am hopeful that you know, being able to

tell my story, which I probably was afraid to tell

at some point, you know, and i'man ashamed of myself

that it can help more people than I ever have heard.

What God has done for me, he has gone beyond.

But more importantly, what God has done to me. He

has gone far beyond anything that I could have expected

from my life, and I'm extremely grateful for that.

Let's thank God for the grace he showed. Shall be

my man right here, stand up, shall be here you are,

wave your head right there.

We're thankful for you. Bro. Praise God.

What a miracle from a minimum fifteen years to freedom,

It said, incredible, Praise God. You may be seated. Shelby

told me right now. He said, my kids counted seventy

five people gave me hugs last service. After service, I said,

that's beautiful. It's the church being the church. What I

think is powerful is there were some things that shall

be shared. And number one one of the first things

that caught up up to me is he says, some

people went on his behalf to the warden to ask

for his freedom. I think to ourselves, like my own

personal responsibility, that there's people that are chained up right

now in bondage, that I could go to the Father

and I could go to prayer, and I could say, God,

would you free them?

God? Would you set them for free? Would you redeem them?

Credible things happen when you go on other people's behalf.

We call it intercession in the church.

When you intercede for people and you pray for them,

God can do incredible things. He also said that you know,

the world looks at you one way when you're out

in a grocery store somewhere. Else when they see an

ankle monitor, they think one thing or another. He shared

what happened was is one day in the summer. It

was in the middle of the summer, and he's in

sweats hiding his ankle monitor, and you know, Josh Savage

asked him, why you sweating?

You should be wearing shorts.

And the way Shelby told me a couple of months

ago was he lifted up his sweatpants to like show

his ankle monitor. Like you know, look, I'm you know,

trying to hide this. He like, we don't care about that,

Are you kidding me? Half the church is wearing those,

so you know, and he was like, man, I just

felt so free as something I was living ashamed of

and just.

No wear yours just you know, we're good with it.

You'd be surprised, but also you'll see the moment as

God gave him freedom.

He didn't even just jump into church.

He jumped into serving starts serving at our Generosity Center,

and he said, God, the grace you've given me, I'm

not gonna take you for granted.

But here's another element you ought to know.

Is when you have an ankle monitor, you have to

turn in everything you're gonna do every hour for the.

Next two weeks, every two weeks.

So if you're going to a grocery store on a

Thursday at seven pm, you got to turn that in

two weeks in advance that that's the day you plan

to go to the grocery store.

You want to hang out with your friend.

He was part of a neighborhood group, submitting two weeks

in advance every time he was meeting with his neighborhood group.

And so what happened was is every two weeks he

was putting in when he was gonna be on a

Wednesday night, he was gonna be on a Sunday night.

The amount of work he had to.

Do to get to the House of God was way

more than what we normally think we have to do.

Many of us. He'll be forty minutes.

Before church will be like, are we going, Are we

doing it?

Or are we not? We still considering and then we

act like, well, you know, you know, Victoria Gardens gets crazy.

After second service, so we've already missed first worship. I

don't know he's over here, Like am I going in March?

He had to submit that. It takes a lot of work.

And then you see when God does miracles. Here's the

beauty thing about miracles. Miracles happen, but also when you

do your part, God will do his part. Miracles aren't

a result of laziness. Miracles aren't a result of just

sitting on the couch waiting for God to move. It's

you do everything you can do so that when God

does the rest, you know you did everything you can do,

and so that everything else becomes a miracle. Instead you

said on the couch, You're like, well, technically I could

have done it if I just got up. But when

you're doing everything you can do, God does the rest.

And there are so many more stories across all of

our campus. And every single week we're gonna highlight some

incredible stories of what God is doing testimonies.

God is doing in the life of the church.

But how many of you guys know that as we

reach it these as we make more room, as we

make more of an impact to teenagers, to children, to

adults everywhere else. When we begin to add spaces for

people to come fellowship, God will add souls and God

will redeem people. And there's more Shelby's out there. There's

more people like you out there. There's more people like

me out there that are looking for someone to make

an invitation to them to come to the House of

God and see what God is doing. When you do

everything you can do, God will do the rest. God

We'll do a miracle. And so as a church, we're

in this season that as we want to reach more

people and we see it happening and we see more

miracles happening, we're at a pivotal turning point for our

church that as a church, we see that God is

increasing people and then what happens is it increases vision.

Over the past four and a half years, about five

years since twenty nineteen, really we've averaged about a million

doing a million and a half a million and a

half dollars a year on vision projects and going to

new cities.

And so over the past three years.

We've spent about two and a half million dollars at

our Pomona campus that has people thriving there that are

meeting Jesus every single week. At our own campus, we've

spent about two million dollars the past three years, whether

it be our sanctuary renovation, whether it be what we've

been doing in our courtyard, one point seven million dollars

there At our Alameda campus, like I shared, since we

took over in December, we've already put about two hundred

and fifty thousand dollars of renovation there. And really what

it is is whatever we do to expand, whether it

be through property rather it be through renovation, it's so

that more people can be reached. Here's what I know

because I was a youth pastor for so many years

and I've still continued to talk to so many families.

You look at what we're doing in the courtyard with

the Lucky climber and everything else, and you think it

looks beautiful.

Could we have just.

Done something smaller or less nice and it would be

half the cost.

And the reality is, yes, we can do those things.

But I've had times met chill dren who were foster

care children, who are growing up in broken homes, who

come to me who say, Pastor Adam Children's Ministry is

the funnest place I've ever been to. I've met families

before that foster children, and I'll say Hi, are you

new here, and They'll say yes, I am, And I'll say, oh,

what brought you here? They'll say, well, we just took

in a foster child and they said their previous foster

family brought them to church here. And they bring it

up every single week because they say it's the happiest

place that they go to all week. And so you

think to yourself, why does it have to be done

in such excellence, Why does it have to be done

so well?

Why does it have to be an ability a size

that it can reach as many as people?

Because there are people that are coming from places of

their home, of their society, that their church is the

only place of peace that they have.

In their entire week.

And you and I say, if some of you say,

well that's not for me, then you are blessed, and

even more so, you should be pouring into someone else,

because there are a lot of.

People who they say this is their place.

That God lifts them up and God speaks to them,

and this is their actual home. For many people will

say they say, I've heard it before many people in

the courtyard, they say, my house is where I go to.

Sleep, my church is where I go home.

Because when people are being reached, they feel that way,

and how we take care of our home base, it matters.

And so in the last few.

Moments, I just want to share there's some exciting things

that we're doing, and over the next few weeks we'll

share with it with you and we're going to have

our series. We're going to talk about things like how

to know the voice of God, how to know God's will.

So we're going to talk about some incredible things that

I think are going to help guide and shape your

life according to the Word of God. But also as

a church, as we're seeing growth as a church. If

you've seen I shared about a million and a half

dollars a year we're putting towards Vision. Right now, our

church has about twenty million dollars worth of Vision just

to reach people that we're already reaching. This isn't something

that we hope to do. This is something we're actively

doing in pursuing. At the rate that we normally invest

annually in Vision, it would take us about twelve years

to accomplish what we want to do. What you see

on the screen, but we believe that across all of

our campuses, with each person sacrificing not equal gift, but

equal sacrifice, over the next three years, we can accomplish

what we could do in twelve years in three years

if we all participate. That's if Patria is your church home.

If it's not your church home, and you've just been

coming and visiting, exploring, please receive the word that we're sharing,

but on the giving side of what we're going to

be doing.

Over the next couple weeks.

You don't have to participate in this at all, but

I want to share with you vision of what God

is doing in our church. Number One, we want to

raise about two million. It's a little over that to

get into something for our Corona campus. We started launching

Corona and what happened is more people came than we anticipated.

We had over one thousand people our first night that

when we launched our Corona neighborhood night after that, more

people still started coming. We had over seven hundred people

tell us that they were going to make our Corona

campus their home church. About two one hundred of them

had never been to Patria before, and so we had

plan A, B, and C. All of them became too

little the moment people expressed that they were going to

go to the Corona campus. So now we actually have

to look towards leasing or buying something so that we

can launch that campus. Right, we were going to launch

it in a movie theater, and then we were going

to launch it the owner of the mall.

We had divine favor.

The owner of the mall said, you can have this

ten thousand square foot building at half rate for you

guys to have church. But then when everyone started coming

to our neighborhood party, we said it would be just

too small for how many people are coming. And so

as God has answered doors and he's created a wave,

now we have to go and we have to believe

God for more things to be able to put a

campus in Corona to reach people. People are already ready,

they're already hungry. We need a permanent location. We're actively

looking right now for those places. Our Alameda campus, their

second service is already grown. They already are pulling chairs

out every single week, and so by Easter we'll probably

be going to a third service more than likely. And

then after Easter. We don't want to go into a

fourth and fifth service. Like I told you, I love y'all,

I don't expect them to have more than three services.

I ain't gonna have more than three services. It's a

lot to preach that many times and do everything that

many times. And so instead we would just want a

bigger space, a bigger area. And so we believe in

God for a building. Here's some other things that we're

believing God. For those of recent Alameda, we want to redo.

Renovate our worship center in here.

Right now, our speakers are twenty two years old, and

so with that twenty two year old speakers, they hurt

your ears. And so we need a whole renovation of

all of our sound systems so that we can worship well.

And it doesn't a lot of people that are older

say that our worship hurts their ears, and it's not

because we have it at a high volume. It's because

the speakers are older at this point. And so we

want to finish a whole renovation in our sanctuary here

together as a church, and that includes finishing all of

our seats in the back, finishing all of our corporate

We want to renovate our foyer. We're getting ready for

this next season of church that God's doing. We're trying

to make more space so that God can do more ministry.

And the more we finish renovating these things, the more

we can see God continue to move. Like I shared,

how many you guys would love us to have more

parking options.

And so across all of our three campuses, like I shared,

we're out of parking.

We're out of parking at Rancho, We're out of parking

at Pomona, that's our Pomona campus, So we're out of

parking at Pomona. And Alameda don't have no parking at all,

so people just they walk half a mile to church

every single Sunday. And so there's a plot of land

for sale in front of the church that we should

love to buy eventually at Alameda and make parking. Should

we be able to buy a building for them or

the building they're currently meeting at. We're trying to believe

God that we can buy the one they're actually at,

so we need to figure out parking. We looked into

building a parking structure on our site. We got quoted

that it'll be about twenty five to twenty seven million

dollars to build a parking structure.

They're very expensive.

So instead we said, maybe we'll buy a plot of

land nearby and pave it and make sure it's very

much near And so you may see seats right now

in the sanctuary, but that's mainly a because the parking

lot's full. And also a lot of people sit in

the courtyard now too, So if we just shut everything

down the courtyard, the cafe that everyone come into service,

you'd see a lot of seats filled. At that point,

you see majority of the sanctuary filled, so everyone's on

site in service, but the parking lot's full. So we're

looking at service at parking lots solutions. We're talking to

Kaiser across the street asking to buy their land. We've

made offers on a couple other plots of land that

we were should love to pave and then be able

to bust people in because new people are coming to

the church, but if they can't find parking when you're

new to faith, you're not patient to get into church.

When you're new to faith or not even in faith yet,

and someone invites you to church and you can't find

a parking spot you take it as a message from.

God to not go to church.

Okay, Jesus says to compel people in the highways and

the byways to come to him, believe it or not.

Parking is a way of.

Compelling people, say hey, there's a parking spot for you. You

don't have to circle for twenty minutes. We're gonna extend parking.

We're gonna make that way our courtyard. So you could

already mark one and a half million. It's already. Guess what,

We're already at an eighteen and a half million dollar

project because we're finishing our courtyard. So that twenty million

dollar goal, we planned this over five months ago, been

working on this. So we're already over one million dollars

into our.

Goal as a church with this, And so you can

already knock that off.

And if you've given towards the past two vision Sundays

towards that, it's a part of that. It's a part

of whatever you would commit. And then we're gonna do

our We're gonna finish our foyer. We're gonna renovate our foyer,

our offices across the street. Two years ago we bought

twenty thousand square foot office across the street because our

private school has blown up and there's a wait list

of a couple hundred kids depending on the grade they have.

Our old offices, our staff meet as sardines in our chapel.

Right now, eighty staff members meet in one room and

kind of all throughout the campus because we've been working

on renovating a new offices.

But the new offices is going to.

Sern as our counseling center, so it's going to be

where people come and receive counseling. It's going to serve

as our hub that as we go into other cities,

pastors are going to come and get resourced all throughout

the world. One of the things we've worked on is

a Patriot Church network because we're getting calls every week

from pastors that are saying, hey, I'm struggling. I heard

you guys, aren't Can you show us how you're reaching people?

And we don't go no, that's just for us. It's

kind of a US thing.

Bye.

Now we go yeah, come on, we want to show

you everything we're doing so that you can see what

God is doing and God can do the same in

your church. Our offices will serve as a place will

to gather and teach and train and equip not just churches,

but pastors for the future. Like I said, we have

a heart for what's going on in America. For every

one church that plants for churches close, we believe we

have a calling to train and equip pastors to go

and plant in cities that aren't being reached. So that's

what we believe God is happening with our offices. And

then the last couple of things, we want to do

some incredible renovations at our Kids Ministry and our Youth

Ministry to redo our kids playground because right now the

playground's like seven feet tall. It's kind of dangerous. Volunteers

get nervous when kids are on those playgrounds. Also, our

Overcomers Ministry, our special needs ministry, it's growing incredibly, it's

reaching people incredibly, and we're so thankful that children with

high functioning autism and low functioning autism and everything in

between are being ministered to. And so we're going to

renovate some incredible sensory rooms for them, and also our

new playgrounds are going to be so that they can play.

You know, it doesn't make me feel good that as

our overcomers is growing, we say, hey, our playground's too

dangerous for them to play at.

They can't play right here.

We want to renovate that whole space so that every child,

no matter what their ability is, we'll be able to

enjoy and know that God has a purpose for them.

Our Youth Ministry is going to renovate and create a

parent resource center. More than anything, we hear parents today saying,

I don't know what to do with my teenager. I

don't know how to talk about sex. I don't know

how to talk about virginity. I don't know how to

talk about what's going on in their.

School right now. I'm struggling when should they do this?

How should they do that?

And so they're coming to me, They're coming to our

youth pastors. And so what we actually want to build

is like a gazebo and a resource center where every

single week we'll have trained volunteers that can help parents

navigate raising their teenagers, and we will have resources. We

will have books for free, we will have pantlets for free.

We will have trained marriage, family and therapists serving there

for free that will be able to help you navigate

your teenagers in this age where let's be honest, I

don't even know what I'm doing half the time with

teenagers as well, and so we have a big vision

to do a lot of ministry right now and over

the next few weeks. We'll break it down and your

books and your journals have everything I've shared with explanations.

Together as a church, God is doing something, and we're

asking that everyone that calls Patriot Church their home church,

that you participate in one way or another. I pray

that you be committed. Here's some things before I close

and we leave here together. Four things I asked that

we commit to together as a church. And if you're

new here, you don't have to commit to these things.

We're just glad that you're here. And I believe every

week is still gonna speak to whether you're part of

this campaign over the next three years or you're not.

And I believe that you're gonna see what God does.

Here's the first thing I ask is, would you commit

to attending every Sunday or Saturday for the next five weeks?

Would you endeavor? Do?

I believe God's gonna speak something to your life, not

just what God's doing in the church. But like I said,

when God does something in his church, it means he's

doing something in his people. He doesn't do something in

his church if he's not doing it through his people.

So I believe every week God's gonna continue to talk

through what he's doing in your life, and he will

continue to do more things in your life.

And so I asked that you come for the.

Next five weeks, bring your journal, and just say, for

the next five weeks, I'm gonna commit to attending church

the church, and you may have something in La. Stop

at our Pomona campus before you go and do it

in La whatever is most convenient. And if you really

have to watch online with us, then next this week,

join us.

And I know half of you may not be here

second service.

Next week because of the Super Bowl, So we got

first service and Saturday service for you now too.

Okay. And so.

You may have not told God two weeks ahead of

time that you were going to miss church on Super

Bowl Sunday, but we got Saturday at six pm for

you now too. And so I don't think nachos take

that long to cook. You don't need twelve hours. So

come Saturday. If you can't make it to Sunday.

Either.

Here's the second thing, would you commit to praying for

one lost friend? Ask God, God, who is one person

who doesn't know you that's in my life that I

could be praying for. There's one person that I know

for sure that I'm praying for. I've been praying for

them for a couple months, and I believe God that

over this next five weeks, I'm saying, God, would you

solidify something in their heart? So commit to praying for

one lost friend. Because everything we're doing right now is

to reach lost people or to teach them the word

of God so that they can grow in their relationship

with Christ, so that they can encower the presence of

God God. And so we want to believe God for

lost friends. And February twelfth is a Wednesday. I want

to ask you to put it in your calendar and

join us on Wednesday Night, February twelfth, either online or

in person, because we're gonna worship together. We're gonna pray

over those friends that you have that have not come

to faith in Jesus. This could be grandchildren, this could

be friends, This can be your sons.

Your daughters, whoever it is.

We're gonna believe God that in this season, over the

next three years, that God catapult their heart and bring

them close to Him and we're gonna pray for them.

We're gonna pray for the campaign. But the fruit of

the campaign is people. You may see what we're trying

to do and say, what does that equal. It equals

people being reached, That's what it equals. It equals taking

care of our home base and making sure that more

people can come to our church campuses. And God is

going to continue to do more miracles in between. And

as God does a miracle in the house, I know

that God will do a miracle in your.

Home in the same way. Here's the third thing.

Would everyone commit on March first and second to make

a three year commitment with us, and you'll see every

week you'll get this card. Don't fill it out today

and don't fill it out until March first and second.

This is just so that you can see it.

It's in your journal, so that you could pray over it,

so that you can see what different commitment levels are.

Because it's not about equal gift, it's equal sacrifice.

And here's the thing.

You may be in a season of life where you're saying,

Pastor Adam, this is the worst year my family has

ever gone through. We financially do not have any extra

and I respect that. Please do not give to the campaign.

If you're at a place, do not go into debt

to give. And so if you are financially going through it,

we understand you'll see that you can get in as

little as twenty eight dollars a month. You can participate.

You can participate with less if you'd like to. But

on top of that, you just say we don't have it.

It's such a hard season. Here's all I ask is

on March first and second, which you put your name

and your contact, and then just say, Pastor Adam, we're

with you.

Just let me know you're with us.

Just let me know that when all this gets done,

you're gonna invite your family and your friends.

You're gonna seek to save lost people.

You could be broke as a joke and you could

still talk about Jesus.

That's completely free, and so commit that with me.

Just say I don't have it, but I'm committed to

spread the gospel. That'll mean the world to me if

you do that. But other than that, as you've seen

God move in your life. Would you commit on top

of your tithes and offering that we do an increase

over the next three years. We stretch together because we

want to see God do something miraculous in our church.

And here's the thing, here's the fourth one, and I'll

close everyone committed to give in a miracle offering. On

March eighth and ninth, Can we sow a one time

seed to launch what God is doing one time? Hey,

this is what we're gonna do, and we're gonna inject

because the moment the money goes in, we're gonna continue.

We're gonna immediately start projects. So it's not a matter

of hey, in three years, guys, you're gonna see these

things happen. It's from week one when we launch this

on March eighth and ninth, So March first and second

we turn the commitment card in together as a church,

and then the next week we bring a one time

seed and it starts projects immediately. None of this stuff

goes to administrative costs or anything like that. It all

goes to all of the projects, one hundred percent of it.

And so we want to start the projects strong and say, hey,

look immediately sounds going in immediately. Renderings for our new

children's playgrounds happening immediately. We're able to so to expand

something we may need in Corona, we're looking at a

least space. We may find one and they say, hey,

we need first and month's rent.

There.

Okay, we already had a miracle offering. We're ready to go.

We want to be ready to start the projects immediately

so that people can be reached by what God is doing.

Everything I said today is in your journal if you

missed it. I want to close with this last thought,

and here's the last point I want to share with

you as we leave here together right now. When one sacrifices,

everyone is satisfied, and when we all commit, miracles happen.

When one person sacrifices, everyone satisfied. But when we all commit,

miracles truly happen. There's a story we all know in

Matthew fourteen, and everyone was there. Jesus did this miracle

twice that's recorded. I imagine he did this many times.

But everybody was hungry while Jesus was preaching, and he said,

let's feed them. And the disciples came and they said this.

It said, we only have five loaves here and two fish.

And that may feel like you at times with your resources. God,

I only have a blank. But what do they do?

They give it to Jesus. And so when they give

what they didn't say, Jesus, I only had. There's twenty

thousand people. You don't you can't do this miracle with

what I have. So I'm just gonna take it home

and I'm gonna eat it. No, they said, Jesus, this

is lunacy. We only have this, but here have it.

And then what does Jesus do? It says this. So

then he ordered the crowds to sit on the grass,

and Jesus took the five loaves and the two fishes,

and he looked up to heaven and he said a

blessing over it. In other words, Jesus spoke into what

they thought they only had. And when you give Jesus

what you think you only have, and you offer that

that even is your own life. You may think your

life is a little value, But if you give it

to Jesus when he blesses it, that's when a miracle happens.

And so what happens is it says this. He looked,

and he blessed it. Then he broke the loves and

gave it to the disciples, and the disciples gave to

the crowds. And look in verse twenty. And they all

ate and were satisfied. And they took up twelve brackets

full of broken pieces, and they had leftovers when they

gave the only that they had, and they gave it

to Jesus, and Jesus blessed it. They dispersed it, and

everyone was satisfied. A miracle happened. And when we sacrifice

and give what we think is only to us and

Jesus blesses it, he can truly do a miracle. And

so we're asking as a church that as we all

commit together, you may feel like I can only do this.

I'm a college student. I can only do this. It's

not about the amount you can do. It's the fact,

are you willing to allow Jesus to bless what you

do have? And we're gonna see ministry happen, gonna hear

stories of impact in the lives. I encourage you today

when you leave service, just look around in that courtyard

and look at those children playing and laughing in the

lucky climber, and just know if you gave, and as

you give, you had a part to play in that

there are children that are joyful today in that space

because of your goodness and your generosity. And I pray

that God multiplies that over your life.

Together.

I'm gonna pray for us, and we're gonna all leave

here together. Thank you so much for being part of

this church family and church home. As you pray to

be considered part of this. I know that God is

gonna take care of the rest. God, we thank you

for today, Father God. We thank you for our family

Lord that has today we have somewhat of a family meeting.

So thankful that you're breathing life into our church.

Father God, we sure would love oftentimes as believers to

just kick our feed up. And those are nice seasons

where things just feel slow and things feel like they're calm.

But for some reason, at our church at Patria, God,

you've just been breathing in our church.

God, we thank you for doing that. Lord.

We thank you that our altars have been full of

people worshiping, people being ministered to.

Father God.

We thank you Lord that people are being baptized to

faith more than ever. Father God, we thank you that

more people are bringing their children and their teenagers.

God, we thank you. God. Pray we never take it

for granted to see your favor. Lord.

I pray we never take it as a burden that

you're sending people to our church.

Father.

God, may we rejoice Lord that lost people are coming

to Jesus and found people are being taught the word

of God today. God, I thank you for this word today. Lord,

we thank you for the time under your presence today.

And I pray if there's anyone in here who's never

made Jesus Christ, your Lord and Savior, that today be

a day that you make the best decision of your life.

There was once a preacher that was talking about the

weight of sin during a sermon, and he talked about

when sin is the greatest weight that a person could

ever feel.

Well.

There happened to be an atheist that was in service,

and he went to the pastor after service and he said, Sir,

I don't believe in God, and I sin every single

day and I don't feel that weight at all. Stop

lying to the people. There is no weight to sin.

You're making that up. And the preacher looked at the

man and he said, if a body was dead and

there was a corpse and I laid a thousand pounds

on it. Do you think the body would feel it?

And the man said no, because the corpse is dead,

it's impossible to feel it.

And then the.

Preacher said the same way. In you, you're dead and

you can't feel the weight of sin until you become alive.

It's not only until you give your life to Jesus Christ.

Do you truly knew the weight of redemption that Jesus

paid for your life. Of course, dead people don't feel

the weight of sin. But when you say you know what,

I want to come alive to Jesus Christ. I want

to feel what it means to have peace and purpose.

I want to know what it feels to know my

God for the first time ever, my Creator. Then what

happens is when you say yes, you go, oh, that's

what the weight that I carried, But Jesus can carry

that for you.

That's what the death and resurrection entels.

And so if you're here today, would you once again

bow your heads and would you say this prayer with

me as many people are going to be saying this

for the first time, You're ready to come alive in

Jesus Christ, ready to fully commit your life to Christ,

to reject your sin, to not say that you're a

perfect person, but say Jesus, every day I'm gonna strive

towards you in your perfection. Would you join me in

saying this day, Dear Lord Jesus, in this moment, I

confess you as Lord and Savior. I repent to my sins,

and I believe in my heart that you rose from

the grave. And from this day forward I commit to

following you for the rest of my days.

In Jesus' name.

brothers and sisters in Christ. Thank you so much for
