The Need to Remember | Joshua 8:30-35 | Pastor Diego Mesa

Oh fun. You know how many of you believe that

you can have fun around the gospel, you can have

fun in church. I believe with all my heart that

when Jesus walked this earth, what made him so attractive

was that he had fun. I think so many people

think that he was like some sour puss person that

sucked on pickles all day, yelling at people, screaming at people.

I believe he was just a fun person to be around.

I think he laughed, I think he told stories. I

think he touched people. I just think you gravitated towards personality.

I think he's a fun And so many Christians that

get saved and you know they're not having fun anymore.

And God wants you to enjoy this life and really

have fun. And I think we'll get there in today's message.

But I want to just compliment Pastor Adam by having

this amazing baptism service that we are having, because there's

individuals like Diego. Diego had gotten saved in nineteen seventy eight.

Diego was raised a Catholic and he went to Catholic

school and even thought he was going to be a priest.

Diego was water baptized as a baby, and so when

he got saved, he thought that he had already been

water baptized, so there was no need when the appeal

went out in the church for him to be baptized,

because he thought he had already been baptized. But he

recognized that young Diego, baby Diego had not acknowledged Jesus Christ.

He was too young to repent of anything or to

confess with his mouth the Lord Jesus. He didn't understand

heaven or repentance, nor the Cross. And so it took

Diego about five years. Now we're into nineteen eighty three.

Five years have come and gone, and Diego goes to

church and he prays, he prays, he reads his Bible

and trying to live the best life that he can.

He just kind of puts it off every time he hears

the church appeal to be baptized. All another time. I'm

not ready. I have a conflict. But then in December,

he's going to get married to this girl named Cindy

sus Smith, and the thought comes into his mind, how

can I enter holy matrimony in a covenant relationship with

a woman for the rest of my life when I

have not truly entered into the covenant with God by

being water baptized. And so the thought came, you know what,

you need to be baptized so that you can enter

into marriage, and then you could be an example to

your new wife so that she could get baptized. I'm

just saying, there's a lot of people like me. Hear

the story you're putting it off. I was baptized as

a baby. You know what, It's time for me to

make a new commitment to God and just sign up. Father.

Thank you for the next few moments we could stand

behind this pulpit. Thank you for the amazing communicators that

are preaching about Joshua, God, and that we could come

alongside and open your word, God and allow your word

to minister to us in Jesus' name. Amen, Hey, hove,

I don't have an iPad. I know a little Bible.

I don't know everything about the Bible, so I'm a

little dependent. Let's stand on our feet for the reading

of God's Word. We're going to read five verses from

the Book of Joshua. Have you been with us on Wednesday?

That's where we're going to be all year, just reading

through the Book of Joshua, and so it starts off

reading like this. At that time, Joshua built an altar

on Mount Ebel to the Lord, the God of Israel,

as Moses the Servant, the Lord's servant had commanded the Israelites.

He built it according to what was written in the

Book of the Law Moses, an altar of uncut stones.

On which no iron tool had ever been used.

Then they offered burnt offerings to the Lord and sacrificial

fellowship offerings on it. There on the stones, Joshua copied,

copied the Law of Moses, which he had written in

the presence, in front of everybody, the Israelites, all Israel,

not some of them, all Israel, resident, aliens, citizens alike,

with their elders, the officers, the judges, stood on either

side of the ark of the Lord's Covenant, facing the

levitical priest who carried it. Half of them were in

front of Mount Gerrizem, and the other half of in

front of Mount Eball as Moses the Lord's Servant had

commanded or early concerning the blessing of the people of Israel. Afterwards,

Joshua read out loud the words of the Law, the

word of the Bible. What you have in your hand today,

the blessings as well as the cursings, according to all

that is written in the Book of the Law. There

was not a word say that with me, not a word,

not a word of all that Moses had commanded that

Joshua did not read before the entire assembly of Israel,

including the women, the dependents, the resinaliens who lived among them.

You may be seated. What a great verse that we're

going to talk about today. And I want to thank

you for coming to church, and thank those that are

watching us online. If you're taking notes to your journals

that you have, I just simply want you to subtitle this.

The need to remember, the need to remember.

The prefects re in front of a word means back again.

But I like to play off the word for a

moment if I could, and I'm gonna slow it down

to see if you catch it. Re Remember, Remember, remember,

because some of us get frazzled, some of us get

broken in life, some of us are disarrayed in life,

and we need God to remember us. Remember the broken places,

remember the broken marriage, Remember my broken spirit, Remember me

where I've been broken in my life. He challenges us

with the need to remember this Monday me and lovely

sit he had the fortunate as we were in San Diego,

we were at Point Loma Cabrio Monument area, what mirrors

a small version of Arlington. If you've never been there,

it's very, very sombering when you see all the white

tombs that are there. And that's where we were to

enjoy a Memorial Day service. And as we were there

paying our respects and homage and honor to those that

had given their lives in combat, the MC started off

by saying, so many people are celebrating their picnics and

barbecues all over the world today or maybe America, maybe

more America, and they're none.

Wrong with that.

But people put out this phrase happy Memorial Day, and

they said, don't ever use that because there's nothing happy

about the memory of you losing a love. Lie. They said,

you should from an educational and understanding of what the

holiday is all about. The way to address it is

remember Memorial Day. And I thought about that. I had

never known that before. And there's times when I need

to remember certain things, the origin of it, and reflect

and pause and take a time out in my busy

life where I want to move on. How many of

you ever gotten married?

There's only three of you?

Okay, well that's too bad. But anyways, if you've ever

gotten married, you have a wedding cake, and how many

of you know you're supposed to take a portion, probably

the top part of that wedding cake and put it

in the freezer. I don't know where the tradition came from.

And how many of you know after a year, on

your anniversary.

You're supposed to pull that thing out, yucky and try

to eat it. What is the purpose behind that? To

remember when you got married? And so this whole story

is about the children of Israel remembering something that God

doesn't want them to forget. What is he saying to

us that we can apply in our lives today from

this story that took place. Basically, it goes like this,

when you are entering into your promised land, or when

you have entered into your promised land, the land with

milk and honey, prosperity, increase, blessings, things and stuff. Remember

who got you there, Remember who blessed you there. You

didn't hire yourself, you didn't give yourself education, you didn't

give yourself money, a house or a home. Wat's what

Deuteronomy says. I love the scripture about Deuteronomy, which he

says here in Deuteronomy he says, So it shall be.

He's warning us, because this can happen in our humanity,

in our frail flesh and our carnality. Words that I

hope you'll understand. So it shall be. When the Lord

your God brings you into the land, he brings you

to your house, he brings you into your marriage, whatever

it is of which He swore to your father's Abraham,

Isaac and Jacob, to give you a large and beautiful city.

Watch this, which you did not build house, is full

of good things which you did not feel hewed out,

wells which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees

which you did not plant. When you have eaten and

are full, watch this, then beware, Say beware, beware, lest

you forget the Lord who brought you out of the

land of Egypt from the house of bondage.

How many of us can be guilty of that?

In my passivity, in my apathy, in my neglect, I

take for granted what God has blessed me with, And

somehow I put the hand of the flesh or the

arm of the flesh in there and think it's me

and my looks and my talent and my smarts. So

he says, I want you to remember when you enter

into the land of Promise that I blessed you with

what you have in your life.

I think he's.

Challenging us that after your wins, your winds of success,

your winds of triumph, your winds of accomplishments in life,

your winds of conquering things in life, you remember what

is he talking about. When they entered into the land

of Canaan, they won against Jericho, they won against Ai,

and God said, before we go any further, I want

you to remember your successes. I want you to remember

where your winds come from. I want you to remember

where your paycheck comes from, your accomplishment come from, your

promotion comes from. Because if you don't get this right,

there might be some defeats in your future rather than wins.

Where are your wins of success coming from? Stop?

Pause, reflect, Remember, and then last of all, the remember

deals with.

Before you move on to the next.

Before you move on to the next car, before you

move on to the next job, before you move on

to the next whatever house. I want you to remember

before you move on to the next city, because that's

what he was talking about. Before you move on to

the next city, and you move on conquering the next king. Okay,

in Canaan, the Promised Land, there are thirty one city

that they will conquer, thirty one kings that they will defeat.

You're familiar with the Canaanites, the parasites. They hit to

all those, all those live in the land of Canaan.

But through the hand of God they will go thirty

one in Oh. Now they lost Ai for a minute,

but they came back and conquered it. How many of

you that are in athletics would love a thirty one

and oh record you bad?

You are bad? You bad?

You a goat.

If you thirty one in Oh, you the champion of

all times.

They were the champions not because they were the smartest,

the best weapon, military, or any advance or in any area.

It was because they had God on their side. And

as long as you can remember, it doesn't remember. As

long as you remember God, it doesn't matter. The level

of your education, doesn't matter, level of your IQ, it

doesn't matter your past history. Remember God, stop and reflect before. Okay,

let's go. Let's move on to the next success. Let's

move on to the next purchase. Let's move on to

the next client. Stop pause. I'm preaching better than your

amening me, but I'll move on. How many times have

we bought a new car with zeal and passion and

say nobody's gonna eat in my car, only to see

rappers from in and out left in there. That's what

you call You're losing your grip, and so much in

faith can be lost.

There's a warning. That's why he says, beware, beware.

Of that slack in your life, or the losing of

the focus, or just wandering or the drifting of your

heart toward God. He says, a game cannot be won

in tennis if you if you loosen the grip, you'll

never be able to swing the club right if you

have too much of a loose grip. Grip grip is

so important, and you got to stay holding God. That's

why the Bible talks about hold fast, repeats it, let

us hold fast to the confession of our faith without wavering,

for He is faithful, that has promised. That's why he

talks about steadfast. After hold fast steadfast, be steadfast.

Unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.

Then he talks about after he says, hold fast instead

and stand fasci me stand fast, stand fast in the

liberty wherein Christ has made you free, and then steadfast.

Why is all these words there, because there's a tendency

for us just to grip, to drift. I lose my love,

I lose my commitment. I just simply lose my passion

like I used to. It can happen. It can happen

with a new car. It can happen in athletics. It

can happen off times in our marriage, in our marriage

with our spouse. You start off with etiquette, and then

that etiquette goes out the door. You don't know what

I'm talking about. Bathroom manners. Let's talk about that when

your first marriage just shut the door after you just

leave the door.

Well, hey, I need to keep the conversation going.

What's going on? You know what I'm talking about. I'm

not saying it's a sin, but I'm just saying we

get too comfortable, and we could do that with God.

We've lost our etiquette, we've lost our manners because we

kind of have gotten too familiar with God. Tell somebody

we need to remember. So here's what he was talking about.

As I work through this message, remember what Remember who

he is to you, and don't lose that. Remember who

he is to you. That he's your Lord, and he's

your master, and he's your boss, and he's your God.

Don't forget who he is to you. That he's your everything,

he's your all. He's the source of your life. He's

the center of your life, he's the priority of your life.

Don't forget remember remember who he is in your life.

Less the Bible says, lest I forget, I got to

remember who he is. Remember where victories come from, and

wins come from, and good things come from. James the

first chapter and verse number seventeen says it this way,

every good and every perfect gift is from above, coming

down from the Father of heavenly lights, who does not

change or like shifting shadows. All the good things in

my life have come from him, and I need to

remember who He is in my life. When I was

little kid, I don't know where I learned it from

or who taught it to me, But as a little kid,

we used to have if you wanted to remember something.

You put a rubber band around your wrist and you

walk around all day with that rubber band because that

rubber rubberman triggered a thought for you to remember to

do something. We have constantly need to be remembered who

God is in our lives. The second thing we need

to do is we need to repent, the repent of

the sin of our lives. Where we miss God's standard,

where we miss God's will, where we miss God's target,

where we miss God's mark in our lives. What does

that look like? That means I've got to discontinue what

sin is in my life. I got to make changes

in my life. I've got to stop missing the mark

in my life.

I got to kill it and I've got to end it.

First, John one point nine talks about that if we

confess our sins, faithful and just to forgive us and

cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Again, David repeated it, creating

me a clean heart, renewing me a right spirit after

the fall of Bethsheba. And so in this story of remembrance,

remembering who He is, then we got to move to

there needs to be a constant repentance in our lives

because we can't kind of can all pick up the

bacterias and the germs of this world, and so we

need to have a daily cleansing in our lives. And

some dirt is more visible and some dirt is less

visible in our lives. And so he's challenging us that

there needs to be times in our lives where we

just simply cancel the subscript. Shit, I don't know about you.

I'm bombarded with email. I don't know how these people

get all my emails. And with my obsessive disorder, I

cannot have any emails in my in my mailbox.

I see.

Maybe you could go days or hours or at the end,

I can't. If I looked down and say, oh my god,

I gotta clear this. I gotta clear this right and

I gotta clear it right now. So I trash it.

I try.

Sometimes I'll see seventy five and I just said it.

I cleared it an hour ago. You know, I don't

care what they are.

Just go trash trat track track trash trat, track track

tra tra tra track trat.

Tray track trat, trat.

Try, So don't email me because I trash you. That's

how I handle it. Sometimes your story and sometimes I

see some stuff there that I don't know how, like

they want to like a drill company selling me drills.

I said, how the heck did that?

They so I have to.

I move down the email that's sent to me, and

there's this little thing that's real smile says unsubscribed. And

I said, that's enough of you taking up all my

airtime on my phone and all my time. So I

push the button. And that's the way sin is. If

you're tired of the sin, then you need to stop

and unsubscribe to it. You need to recognize that it's

consuming your time, consuming your effort, it's missing the will

of God and the mark of God, and I need

to unsubscribe to it. The third word I love is

there comes a time when I need to recommit my life.

That's what's being done in this valley, and I'll talk

about that in a few moments. That's why Joshua says,

stop and we're gonna have a ceremony right now. We're

gonna read stuff. We're gonna have the levitical priests come out.

We're gonna talk about these two mountains and every bud

it is going to hear the word of the Lord.

We're not taking a step further. We're not conquering another

king of city until we do this right now. So

there's a need to recommit my life sometimes and my

stuff sometimes and recommit my devotions to God. Recommit my

talent to God, recommit my gifts to God, recommit my

time to God. I need to recommit my life to God.

It comes times for that. You may take advantage of

seasonal times in your life. I'm sure we all do

it at the first of the year, when we go

on a fast and we're praying, we kind of recommit

our lives. I do it around maybe an anniversary of

some kind. I recommit my life On Friday was my birthday,

and so I stopped for a moment to reflect and

to remember the sixty four years that God had giving.

Me on this planet, and I said, what can I

do now in the next year.

I'm not moving to the next year. I'm not blowing

out no candles, I'm not opening no presents. I'm going

before God first, the giver of the sixty four years,

and I want to recommit my life to him because

maybe I gave him something and I've taken it back.

Sh Let me tell you a secret about Diego. Diego

loves to work out, and most guys half my age

can't stay with me. You think I'm bragging. I ain't bragging.

I'm telling the truth. If you don't think if I

challenge you on Saturday morning, go meet me up at

Marshall Canyon. Prepare to be on your saddle three and

a half hours and we're gonna climb about fifty five

hundred feet in an elevation. I'm joking, but I'm not

easy to me. I love feeling my heart come out

of my chest. I love pain, I love pushing myself.

I love competition, and every once in a while I

hear God saying I need you to recommit that to me,

because Diego, you love it a little bit too much

and it's making me feel a little bit jealous because

it consumes your time, your energy, your conversation, and I

kind of get the left over. I know you don't

know what I'm talking about, because you got a halo

on your head, and you would never do that with

your shopping. You would never do that with your eating.

Let's just keep it right there. You never do that

with your social media on the phone. Would you it

comes a time when you just have to stop and

to simply recommit, recommit what recommend and reflect on the

things that I love, the things that I have, and

the things that I do. It's a heart issue.

What do I love, what do I have, and what

do I do.

Have I committed those things to God. Do I need

to look at that and recommit it? And the last

word here is renewal. There's a renewal to do better

and to improve and to grow. Two of my favorite

scriptures is in Colossians three, and they could really could

be my foundational verses because they speak of who I am,

and whatever you do in word or deed, do everything

in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to

God the Father, through God through Him. Then in verse

twenty three is a compliment. Whatever you do, do it

from the heart, something done for the Lord and not

for people. I love those two verses because they challenge

lenge me. They absolutely challenge my lifestyle and what I do,

whether I'll do it halfway or whether I'll do it

just complete, whether my heart will be in it or

it won't, or whether I'll give my best or I'll

just give average, I'll do what's asked to me, or

I'll neglect it. It challenged me. Is there? So there's

a renewal that needs to take place in our lives.

We need to get better. We need to be constantly improving.

We need to be growing into We need to be

growing up in the things of God. I need to

renewal my future plans, projects, priorities, and purposes unto God.

Are they honoring God? As I set out my goals?

Will they glorify God? You know what, if you ever,

if you live in Ranch or this area, if you

drive up all the way up having and or drive

up all the way up Archibal, it's a horseshoe. They

meet up there. They meet up there. There are two streets,

but they they connect together. At the top of where

they connect on the flatland, there's a castle. I call

it the castle House. It's like being built, been under

construction for the last ten years, maybe even longer. They're

never finished. And that's the way your faith is supposed

to be. You're always under construction. You're never finished. You're

finished when you take your last breath and go to heaven.

Until then, I'm growing in something I'm improving in something,

I'm stretching myself. I'm challenging myself because if not, apathy

will stick in a lot of people. Older people die

before their time because of that. So they take a

fall and they break a hip and the next thing

you know, they can't recover because they've lost their flexibility,

they've lost their agility. They can't, they can't. They can't

touch their toes. Look, ask a two year old, a

five year old to do a summersault? Can you do

a summer salt? Ask them to do the splits? Can

you do the splits? Ask them to bend their toes,

touch their toes? Can you touch your toes? Look at

somebody and he come on, what's the matter with you? Why?

Because you're getting old? Now, No, there's a natural principle.

But I'm not talking about that natural health right now.

But there's a spiritual principle. Some of you have gotten

too old in your faith. Amen, Okay, let me let

me move on to the next point. Oh, I stretch

myself a little bit. Excuse me for a minute. One

person will get really competitiors say, man, how can that

sixty four year old guy do that? And I'm thirty

four and I can't do that. How to remember? Let's

talk about it. How do I remember? I think there's

a few things. As we close out with six minutes left,

notice the things that he said. How do we remember?

We build an altar? He built an altar. Joshua built

the altar. He didn't ask his subservience to do it.

He didn't ask his generals to do it. He'd ask

nobody else to do it. Nobody else can build your altar.

Your mama can't build your alter Your husband should build

your altar. The pastor can't build your altar. You gotta

build altar for yourself. If you don't know how to

build an altar, you're gonna forget God. But part of

remembering God is every day. I gotta build an altar

of prayer. I gotta build an altar of worship. I

gotta build an altar around the word of God. Nothing

is so important that I'm not building an altar. If not,

I'm gonna forget all the blessings that God has blessed

me with. I gotta build it. So this mighty leader,

this mighty general, it's taking time out to build the altar.

Time effort, energy, commitment to build the altar. And notice

what it says he built it out of very very

important that you reconize. He built it out of uncut stones,

uncut stones which.

No iron tool had ever touched.

That reflects sincerity and purity and newness and freshness no

iron tool means. It's not a man's workmanship, it's not

man's showmanship.

It's not for performance.

I'm gonna use God's creating material, not my pre manufactured materials.

It's raw, it's real. It's dependent upon God to help

him to do this. The next thay, I recognize he

offered burnt offerings. That's dedication in consecration. Then he offered

sacrificial fellowship offering. That's how to gratitude and appreciation. He

wants a friendship with God. The Bible says, I beseech you, therefore, brethren,

by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies

a living sacrifice, wholly and acceptable into God, which is

your reasonable service, and be not conformed to this world,

but be transformed by the renewing.

Of your mind.

You gotta build an altar, and you got to offer sacrifice,

not trying to earn something from God that's.

Already been done through the cross.

But to show gratitude and thankfulness to God. I'm not

trying to earn anything. Let us offer unto him the

sacrifice of praise. But it shows our gratitude. And so

they gave burn offerings, and they did sacrificial offerings there

and then it quotes here two times in the text.

It says, Moses, the Lord's servant. How do I remember?

You got to remember that you are the Lord's servant.

I want to take time out to reflect that I

am the Lord's servant. What do I serve? Who do

I serve?

Where do I serve?

When do I serve?

Why do I serve? Somebody should be able to ask you,

where do you serve?

In the Kingdom of God? Most Christians are jobless, Most

Christians are homeless. The way you remember is through your

service in the Kingdom of God. If not, I don't

need to do all that. It's those people that need

to do all that. I'm excluded. I'm a celebrity, I'm

a VIP no VIP. Everybody in the Kingdom of God

is a servant. There's no titles, there's no positions, there's

no Hollywood stars for you. There's only heavenly rewards for you.

Hollyween stars is for those people in Hollywood. I don't

want a Hollywood star. I want a heavenly reward. I

don't want man to remember me. I want God to

remember me eternally. I want to thank him for dying

on the cross and his receiving forgiveness. So I'm a

servant of the Lord. It's not about recognition. It's not

about applause. It's not about titles, position or your name.

It's all about being a servant. I want to remember that.

And last of all, he copied the law. He read

it out loud, he applied it, He made everyone accountable

to it. It was for everybody and all. And it

says he didn't leave nothing out, he didn't take scriptures out.

I don't like that one. I don't believe in that one.

I don't apply that one. I wants too hard. Why

Because he's in a valley right now. They're literally in

a valley, and on one side of them is a mountain.

It's called Eball. Eball represents the Mountain of Cursing, and

on the other mountain is Garrison, which represents blessings. And

he said, every one of you have a choice today.

Do you want the blessing of the Lord or do

you want to remain cursed in your life. I can

turn the curse the blessings. God said. If you obey

my word today, you remain in my word. You live

in your word. The word of God is the source

of your life, the center of your life. All your choices,

all your decisions, all your attitudes, all your reactions, all

your behavior.

Is based upon the word of God.

You don't need some celebrity to tell you what to do.

You don't need no news media to tell you what

to do. You do know need on Instagram to tell

you what to do. You got the Bible and you

can open it up and the Bible will govern your life.

It doesn't matter what I feel, it doesn't matter what

you say. What matters is what God's word says. And

the most important thing in your life is to remember

the word of God, because that's where blessings come from.

And if you live in disobedience, that's where Christians is

going to come from. Ill end with this, do you

have an eating agenda for your life? You suppose say yes,

you know of course, you have an eating agenda. You

have an eating diet. Yes, does somebody feed you like

a little kid? Okay, open up, chet, chitch you, and

here we come. You have a self feeding program. Okay,

that's the way it is with the word of God.

I don't need someone else to feed me like I'm

a little kid in a high chair. I know how

to open the Bible and read it for myself. And

I want I want a fresh meal. Leftovers are okay

every once in a while, but I can't live off

of leftovers. I need fresh man. It's only good for

one day. Give us this day our daily bread.

I need to do.

I need to I know naturally how many calories I

need in my body. I need about three thousand calories

every day because of how much I give out. What

is your spiritual calorie intake? How much do you need

to stay strong in the Lord, keep your flesh under subjection,

stop temptation from overcoming your life. How many? Oh, this

is good preaching. I end with this. I've had the

good fortune this year of driving four of my grandsons

to school. I pick up Matthias and Thomas, and then

I move over and I pick up Ezra in Enzo

I get all of about I don't know, fifteen minutes

with them, or maybe maybe seventeen, I don't know. It's

something like that. And in this year we talked about

a lot of things. But they told me that recently

that they went into a concert and saw this guy

named Forest Frank. I don't know who Forest Frank is,

but they say, Papa, we want to hear Forest Frank.

And so they go on my phone and they pull

up the song they want to hear, and there's this

one song they wanted to play all the time.

It goes like this, God is good all the time,

if he ain't you be lying. God is good all

the time, if he ain't you be lying. And in

the beginning, I thought, what kind of song is that?

But by the end of this school year, it's in.

My head now and I be walking anywhere and I

hear God is good all the time. If he ain't

you be lying. God in my head, get the word

of God in your spirits and they'll start speaking to you. Father.

I thank you for the message today. My prayer resonates

in the hearts of everyone us. Oh God, help us

to hold fast to the word of God. Help us

to stand fast on the word of God. And help

us to be steadfast in the word of God. Lord,

help us to pause, reflect and remember before we move

on to the next thing. Oh God, help us to

do this. God, we honor you now in Jesus' name. Amen,

before we go. We're going to leave this place in

a few moments. But I'd like to use this text

to drive something. All of us have a choice. Some

people say I didn't have no choice. Yes, I don't

care the hardship, the difficulty, the tragedy, or the drama.

Then it happened in your life. I'm sorry, but here's

what I know. In God's goodness, God gives us choices

where we could alter and chain is the destiny of

our lives or behavior, and stop living a curse life

and start living a blessed life.

Nobody, I don't care what poverty or.

Difficulty you've experienced in your life, or lack of something

or some injustice in your life. God brings everybody to

this valley now and says you can change the outcome

of your life, and you can operate in my blessings

and the curse can end in your life. Today. I

want you to recognize today God is before you today,

not to judge you today, because that's what curses represented,

the judgment. God's not here, He's not mad at you.

God's here to bless your life, change your life, deliver

your life, forgive your life, give you a new destiny

and an eternal home. But know that it is a

choice that nobody else can make for you. You got

to make it for yourself. You've got to get to

this point where I'm in the valley now and I've

got to stop and reflect upon my life. And I

don't like the direction of my life. I don't like

the life that I've been living. I don't want the

outcome anymore, the results that I've been having. I can

alter and change the dusty of my life and stop

walking under curses and start walking in blessings today by

acknowledging the need for Jesus to forgive you of your sins,

or you say, without a shadow of a doubt, I'm

a Christian, but I've wandered away from the things of God.

I've got the world in my hip pocket and God

in the other. I'm living like a junkyard dog and

an alley cat. Today I want to repent or you

know what. I love God. Everything's great, but I just

feel like something's missing, and can I submit to you.

Maybe that's the infill end of the Holy Spirit. Jesus

breathed on the disciples after the Resurrection. Then he told

them to wait ten days in Jerusalem until the day

of Pentecost, where they were all filled with the Holy Spirit.

If they needed the Holy Spirit after their salvation, you

need the Holy Spirit too in your life. When I

count to three, you raise your hand and we'll pray

for you. Nobody is ashamed. Everyone has done this one

time or another. It'll be the best decision you've ever made.

Give your life to Jesus, rededicate your life, or be

filled with the Holy Spirit. You have a choice today.

Choose right one two, one, two, three, All across this auditorium,

wherever you might be, if you're raising your hand, do

one thing for me. Just stand on your feet as

quickly as you can.

Boom, go up.

Stand on your feet, be unashamed of the gospel. Stand

on your feet. There we go. Thank you, Stan standing

lift your hands toward heaven.

Say Jesus, you know who I am, and you know

everything about me.

I ask you today in front of all these people,

to forgive me of my sins, to cleanse me, deliver me,

and heal me of the issues of my life. I

need Jesus, I need a savior, and I come to

you now as I am in Jesus' name. Amen, you

for traveling mercies for everyone to all of their different destinations. Lord,

that they would arrive there safely God and you would

protect them. We thank you and we praise you in

Jesus' name.
