Living with Purpose: How to Find and Fulfill God's Call || Pastor Diego Mesa

That seed in a ground. Where is the ground, It

is the local church. This seed is not to.

Be devoured, and sometimes we devoured the portion that God

wants us to sow into the dirt of his good

soil the church on going to vegas, mortgage payments, a

restaurant laker tickets. God wants to provide money for you

to have your needs met. But he's also going to

provide money so that one of those seeds could be sown.

Back into the Kingdom of God.

This does no good if it's not put in the

right soil.

The soil is the church. Here's what I know about sowing.

You will always reap more than you could ever sow.

You plant a seed in the ground, a big tree

comes up, and you receive.

Apples or whatever that might be a year in and

year out.

That's the power of the seed.

It can meet your needs, and then it can bless

other people's lives, and then it will give you more

seeds so that you can plan into the.

Kingdom of God.

Don't rob God today of the opportunity to bless you

in ways that your income looks, your education can. I

want to break the fear off of all of us

to take our seat and planet in the Kingdom of

God and watch God produce a harvest.

In your life. There are four ways to give today.

You could give by tapping your seat in front of you.

You could give online right now.

You can give through our pushpay apt or you can

put money into the dispenser outside. Thank you so much

for being a generous giver. Very good. After all these years,

it is still like you. Hard for me to look

at myself on the screen, because all you see is

all your mistakes and your wrinkles and your gray hair

and everything like that. I remember when I was I

don't know if there's anybody that thought like me or

things like me. When I was younger, I couldn't wait

to have gray hair.

I really couldn't.

And then when I got older and got gray hair,

I thought, I don't want my gray hair. And there

was a season when we were doing television ministry where

I was dying my hair, you know. And then when

I came off television, I said, I'll never dye my

hair again. I'm gonna just be proud of the gray

hairs that God has blessed me with. And actually it

was a young person that told me that don't dye

your hair because we need more gray hair people as

role models and examples to us, and so they're being

ripped out of our lives. So keep your gray hair.

And that's all I needed. So that's what's going on.

You know, we used to say with you know, you

saw all these announcements, go online and review them.

But we used to.

Say, we're making it hard for you to fail here

at Abundant Living with so many life giving programs. If

you're gonna fail, you're gonna fail because you want to

fail when there's so many programs that can benefit you.

And so I appreciate our church and Pastor Adam and

Ashley's vision to say, you know what, you may need

marriage help, We've got that. You may need children's out,

We've got VBS, we need men's fellowship coming together, We've

got that and all the other things that are going on.

So I sure sure appreciate that. Listen, it's been a

minute since I preached to you.

Okay, So I'm a little bit nervous tonight.

Okay, So your smiles are gonna make me feel warm

and invited, or I'm gonna tell my pastor I'll never

come back to that church. It was the most honorary

church I've ever been to in my life.

They didn't respond to me.

They gave me pickle faces, they fell asleep during my message.

They were unenthusiastic, and I'll never be back.

So it's all about you. No pressure.

But if something that resonates with you, just say something.

If God's word is good, just say something. Okay, all right,

we're gonna We're gonna believe God.

Father.

I thank you for the next few moments as we

launched this amazing series for this summer O God that

deal with questions that people have that they genuinely need

answers to.

Father.

I thank you, Lord in the name of Jesus, Lord,

that You're gonna speak to every single one of us

God through these questions so that we could get answers.

And Father, your word is relevant. You are relevant. Oh God.

I thank you that we don't have to go to

Google God to get our answers.

Oh God.

We don't have to go to Facebook or Instagram. We

don't have to go to any other source. You have

the answers of the complexities of life and every one

of our yearnings that might be personal. So we dedicate

this summer to you as we venture down these roads.

As we venture down this road of questions that people

are asking.

In Jesus' name a man, Well again, okay, that's kind

of pretty good.

But anyways, we are dealing with questions of life today,

and so I want for them to share with us

a little bit of what the question that you have

asked that we're going to deal with tonight. Oh, my

question is, for a very long time, it seemed like

people have prophesied or said like, I've been called to

ministry of some sort.

How do you properly approach that head?

How can you be completely sure of what your calling is?

And how do you know your confirmation of that you're

in the right place in your ministry?

Where is my purpose in life?

How do you find what your purpose in this life

and what God has destined for you through reading or

through prayer? All right, so you asked it, and we're

going to answer it today. We're going to talk a

little bit today about two words, your purpose and your calling.

So let's stand on our feet and read God's word

today collectively and together. We're going to read Romans the

eighth chapter, and it goes like this, and we know

for those who love God, that's a key word is

you have to have a love for God, because if

you don't have a love for God, this doesn't make

any sense. So it's for those who love God all

things say this word with me. All things work together

for good for those who are called, that's you.

According to His purpose, you may be seated.

Three strong words stand out, and that's what we're gonna

launch with today. Notice it says all things work together

for the good.

Now here's what that means.

God takes your yucks and he turns them into mums.

He takes your bitterness and he makes them sweet. He

takes the crap in your life and turns it into

valuable fertilizer.

All things, the hardships.

Of your life, the difficulties of your life, the pains

of your life, the sufferings of your life, the abuse

of your life, the misuse of your life. When you

turn it over to God, God will turn it to good.

He'll take that crap. It'll make a trophy out of it,

a testimony out of it.

No one can do that but God.

And he talks about for those that are called, and

those that have a divine purpose. There are basic needs

for all humanity. I don't care who you are. Innately,

people grow up. I don't know if it's at six

years old, seven years old, twelve years old, but it

usually happens early in life and then it gets more

advanced or sometimes people stop asking it.

But every human being instinctly wants to know.

Why am I here? Everybody wants to know that. They

want to know what have I been called to do? Right?

They ask the question, what is the meaning of life?

What's it all for?

They ask the question what's gonna happen after I die?

And that is what you guys asked, And that's why

we're going to develop this word called purpose and calling.

So today we're going to talk about three things that

deal with purpose and then three things that deal with calling.

I'm just giving you a heads up. They're misconceptions, falsehoods

along the lines.

But to introduce the.

Topic, you're gonna see on the screen the parallel of

purpose and calling, because there's a little bit difference. Purpose

is why you were created, the intent and the reason

why God created you.

What God invites you to do?

Now, the first one is the first one is a

universal call for all Christians. The calling is a personal call.

The universal call is we're all called to know God, love.

God, and serve God. We're all called to let Him

be known.

But now he invites you into a specific calling. We

don't all have the same jobs. We don't all have

the same vocations. We don't all have the same talent,

we don't all have the same testimony, all the same personalities,

we don't all have the same experience. That you're calling,

he's it's the direction of your life.

It's your north, you're southeast and the west. It's the

boundaries of your life.

If you don't have a purpose, then you are like

a ship without a rudder. You're just gonna float on

every drift, every wave that comes your way. And there's

a lot of people, great people, wonderful people, good people,

religious people out there, but they're just floating. They don't

have a rudder in their lives. And then the calling

is the assignment of my life. You I am assigned

to Cindy, and to Nathan, Caleb.

And Adam, and to Ariel Judah.

Ezra Silis, Lorenzo, Matthias, and young Thomas. You're not assigned

necessarily to them unless you're in that front row over there.

But you're assigned to your spouse and to you, So

that is the assignment.

The blue PRIs is your purpose. That's like the blueprint.

But the construction now is the material on how you're

gonna build that. And then it's the anchor in bean

versus the anchor in doing, because there comes a bean,

but then there now comes an application. What am I

gonna do with what God has gifted me with to do? So?

All right?

Here I have a toolbox, and the toolbox represents God's

purpose and all of us have a purpose in God's toolbox.

So here's a hammer. How many of you know there's

a purpose for this thing. Here's a wrench? How may

even know there's a purpose for that thing? Here's here

is a HexaCon wrench. Okay, Here is a Phillips screwdrive.

Excuse me, here is.

Let's see what do I have here?

Here's another wrench. Here's a socket. Okay, So what am

I trying to tell you? You are in here. God created

you in a purpose in his kingdom. You're in here, okay,

and you're to be used. A lot of us are

still in the plastic cellophane wrapping we've never been used.

You don't want to get dirty. You don't want nobody

to touch you, you.

Don't want to hands on you.

You want to stay in the box of comfortability and convenience.

But the reality is is how many of you realize

that even though these are very similar, they're different. You

may be very similar to someone else, but you're different.

You serve a whole different purpose.

I can't get a Phillip's head and try to do

a flathead screw with it. Now I can try to

force it, and I may be able to manipulate it.

And there's a lot of people manipulating their calling. They're

going to force it one way or another. I'm gonna

make this relationship with this man or woman work, even

though it's not a fit. Oh, I'm preaching better than

you're saying. Amen, I won't make it work. I'm gonna

ignore all the signs and I'm gonna push through all

the nose because I'm gonna make it work. And you

have to realize that this is God's purpose in here.

All of us are meant to be in God's toolbox,

because when you're in God's toolbox, you'll fulfill your purpose,

and every one of us are uniquely and specifically designed.

We all may we all don't look alike. We we

just don't all look alike. But amazing God can use

us uniquely, and God can use us so differently. I

want to share this scripture with you, and this speak,

This speaks of Paul, and they're gonna go online on

the screen. Excuse me, It says, brethren, I do not

count myself to apprehend, but this one thing I do

forgetting those things that are behind, reaching forward to those

things which are head, I press toward the goal for

the prop See, he had a purpose. He was going

somewhere with his life. Here's what I want you to know.

Your purpose always has a mission there ms. Your purpose

always has a ministry behind it, and your purpose always

has a message.

My life.

Your life has a message to it. You're supposed to

speak it. Do other people know the message.

Of your life. You're supposed to have a ministry.

You're supposed to be giving to something and to someone,

and you're on mission to do something and to fulfill something.

Paul knew that. Here's the next scripture for me. To

live is Christ and to die is gained.

You can only say that when you have purpose in

your life. So purpose is the center of your life.

Jesus is the center of my life. Jesus drives the

next there all sees here. Jesus drives the character of

my life, drives the community of my life. Jesus drives

the commitment of your life. So I want to challenge

you today, if you have purpose, tell me who the

center of your life is. That'll define your purpose. Tell

me how your character is developed. How do you measure

your character? Do you how do you gauge your character?

How do you determine your character? Who is the community

of your life? Drives your purpose and your commitment. I'm

preaching a whole lot better. I'm gonna tell Pastor Adam,

I'm not coming back. Here's the third one third one. Please,

for if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to

boast for the necessius laid upon me.

This is one of the most powerful Versus minister to me.

So much woe is me, pos says, woe is me

if I don't preach the I want you to add there,

woe is you if you.

Don't do what see, we don't have purpose. So there's

no woe in our lives.

There's no fear in our lives, there's no somberness in

our lives.

Woe is me.

If I don't stay faithful to this woman that I marry,

woe is me. If I don't love my children, woe

is me. If I don't finish.

The race of my life.

Woe is me if I commit adultery, fornication.

I purpose, what is your woe?

And last of all, this scripture says this, but I

consider myself of no value to myself. My purpose is

to finish my course in the ministry I received from

the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of God's grace.

For none of these things move me.

Nothing that you ever should go through should move you

from your purpose. But if you are being moved all

the time like the wave, you.

Have no purpose. You have no purpose.

So Paulka clearly communicates to us about the mission of

his life in the ministry and the message he tells

us about the center of the character, the community, and

the commitment I had one more of the contribution of

our lives. And then, last of all, he talks to

us that all of us have a role, and these

are ours. All of us have rules with those roles,

and all of us should be driven by.

Routines without it purpose and calling.

People are just simply existing you and are just surviving.

We are just busy, We are just simply doing.

And I want to challenge you to go fast forward

in your life. And I've always thought about this, I

think because it's my profession and I do them. I've

always thought about tombstone testimonies. What will your eulogy said?

I've done a lot of them, and sometimes the eulogy

is a summation of someone's life, is like a paragraph

for someone that lived eighty years. And then I read

some and they're really all that. But it's a lot

of fluff. It's not true. So I want you to

fast forward because it will now define to you today

how you will live from now until you go to

heaven and die.

What do I want.

My tombstone testimonies to say? What do I want my

epithet to stay? What do I want my eulogy to say?

Because that's driving my purpose and my calling in life.

He contributed to this, He helped this, He changed this.

He made an impact here. He made a difference.

Here he finished what God had called him to do.

There are two people, and then I'll launch my six points.

There are two people that I consider my personal heroes

when it comes to this subject of purpose.

One of them has gone to heaven. His name is

Miles Monroe, and Miles would.

Say this, the greatest tragedy in life is not death,

but a life without purpose. And then my second favorite

hero is this guy named Rick Warren. He made millions

of dollars off of a book called that without a purpose,

life is motion without meaning, activity without direction, and events

without reasoning.

So here we go.

I want to share with you six misconceptions of purpose

and calling. These are lies and falsehoods that you and

I believe or the enemy wants us to believe. So

here's the first one I want to share with you.

I don't have a purpose. That's what some people think

that I don't have a purpose. But here's what Isaiah

forty four says and verse number two. But I am

your creator, God says, you were in my care even

before you were born in that womb Israel, don't be terrified.

You are my chosen servant, my very favorite. Then, first

Peter says, this in two. It says this, but you

are chosen. Say I'm chosen, Say I'm royal, say I'm holy,

and say this I'm special. That you should proclaim the

praises of him who called you out of darkness and

into his marvelous life. The number one reason why you

were created ready dropped the mic to bring pleasure to God.

The only reason why he an omnipotent god, an omniscient God,

a god who's complete fool, wanting and needing nothing created humanity,

a man and a woman. Is he wanted to bring

pleasure into his life. He wanted he wanted to pleasure somebody.

And if that's what he that's what it's about, that

you might please him, and that you would bring pleasure

to him, and you to be bring delight to him.

So understanding that that I'm not a mistake, I'm not anonymous,

I'm not an accident, I'm not a mishap, I'm not

a whatever, I'm not a nothing.

That's a lie.

The fact is that you have to believe I was

made on purpose. I was created on purpose, and I

was created on purpose, and you and I have to

believe that for ourselves. You have to discover that for yourself,

and you've got to live it out for yourself. Your

life has a purpose. It's not an accidental life bumping

into opportunities events. No, you are not just going to work.

You're being sent by God to work. You're not just

going home. You're supposed to be sent by God home.

You're not just going to church. You're being sent by

God to church with a mission in mind, with a

ministry in mind, with a message in mind.

Not you just exist, You just survive.

You just float around like a ship without a rudder.

See you, and I have to understand there is a

designer for my life, and there is intent for my life,

and there is a creator for my life. And there

is an inventor of my life. And there is an

originator of my life, and there is a maker for

my life.

You were born for a purpose, and you were born

for a reason.

Now, if I could be so bold and say it

this way, suicide is a lie to purpose. And the

enemy is still in a lot of people's purpose. I

don't want to I don't want to dull you here today.

I don't want to be a gloom and doom. But

forty nine thousand people twenty twenty three. Statistics keep going on.

I don't know what they are, and we'll finish with

in twenty twenty five, one death every eleven minute suicide,

twelve point eight million seriously thought about suicide. Maybe people

in this room three point seven made a plan for

suicide and one point five attempted suicide one way or another.

How could and I'm not trying to judge.

Anyone, I'm trying to minister to us today, could get

to the point where they want to end their lives

and life is not worth living because they have lost

their purpose or never discovered their purpose for living.

You and I cannot fall victim to that.

No matter how tough it gets, all things work together

for the good. The second thing, the thought is this,

if I'm successful, I'm in my purpose. That's not true,

that's not always true. But people can fall for that

falsehood that just because they're successful, they're living in their purpose.

Two scriptures that will drive this thought here. They're found

in proverbs, and I like to read them to you.

Many are the plans in a person's heart. People make plans.

I got my own dreams, I got my own ambitions,

I've got my own desires. I'm making plans, but it's

the Lord's purpose that prevails purpose. God's purpose supersed your plans.

I had plans. I was going to be a marine

hu yah when is signed up nineteen eighty. I was

going to be an Alay sheriff when it took the

test in nineteen eighty one. I was going to be

a professional athlete as I my first paycheck in nineteen

eighty two.

Those were my plans.

But then I discovered the call of God on my

life and I didn't become the phillips head trying to

manipulate this flatthead screw because I could have. I had

to yield to the fact that I was a Phillips

and I had to find my philip head screw. People

make plans. The next scripture is amazing too, because I

love this one. A life devoted to things is a

dead life, a stump. A god shape life is a

flourishing tree. See, you could succeed in titles, and you

can succeed in accomplishments, and you could succeed in positions,

and you could succeed in popularity, and you could succeed

in performance, and you could have acquired stuff things, toys,

status and sessions, and.

Failed in your God given purpose.

So the question to success is this is what I achieved,

Who does it belong to?

Who does it belong to? How do I use it

to grow God's kid?

Who gets the glory and the honor and the praise

for all my success? That tells me the motive of life.

So just because you're successful doesn't mean you're living out

God's given purpose in your life. There's a great quotation

from Batron Russell, and it'll go like this, Unless you

assume a God, the question of life's purpose is meaningless.

Not too long ago, I had the privilege of being

invited to In and Out Corporation, the privilege of meeting

the owner, the founder, and I was blown away because,

like you, all my life, I've been eating in and out,

going down to balling Park when there wasn't a thousand

in and outs and eating over there the first in

and out, And though I knew that Lindsey, the owner

was a strong Christian believer, I went there. I went

there because we wanted to build a relationship for the

school and have some of their personal corporate development and

mentorship come to the staff there.

I was blown away because this is a corporation. It's

a billion dollars, say Bill, Okay, so here.

Comes master Bastad passad walking in like he's somebody. Nah,

just kidding, but I sit around a table. First thing

they do, they said, do you mind if we pray?

What the heck? Absolutely they pray.

We have this conversation and then see I knew that

they were successful because of this and what comes in this.

But you know what, it's what's on the bottom here.

And you could be highly successful up here, but have

failed with God and your purpose. This is purpose down here.

It undergirds the success. What we do is to the

glory of God. We give him honor and we give

him praise. So each your double double drink, your shake,

and your fries. But I want you to know a

portion of that is going to build the Kingdom of God.

And our corporation is built on Jesus.

Christ and the Us of Calvarry.

And we are in a shame of what we believe

by our hamburger or don't buy our hamburger.

But Jesus is the lord of our lives. That's what

you success is.

There's a vast difference between success and significance. Success is selfish.

Significance is unselfish. Success hoards for itself. Significance is trying

to give it away. I'll leave it at that little bit.

Too much for you, So let's move on to number three,

my last one. With this one, my pain has no purpose.

My pain has no purpose. The suffering I'm going through

now or been through, the hurt in my life, the

cries in the tears that I have shed, have no

purpose and no meaning.

That's a lie. God.

Just remember this. God does not waste pain. He'll never

waste your pain. There's something that God wants to use

out of that pain. And when you give it to

him and you surrender it to him, Wow.

You watch how God will use it.

But the problem is is we don't want we're ashamed

of it. Like I've had people have amazing testimony and

invited them share your tep only holy cause that's the problem.

It's your testimony and not his testimony.

There's too much of you.

You're supposed to be dead and resurrected through the Christ

who gives a rip. Now I realize that some stuff

is very, very tender, and it's reserved for a certain audience.

But when that audience is there, why don't you share it? Well,

I'm preaching better than I don't know if I'll come back,

but I'm trying.

Watch the scripture. I love this.

It's about Joseph's life in the Old Testament and his pain.

Joseph called the name of his firstborn Manassa. He named

his son. He said, for God has made me forget

all my toil of my father's house, all the betrayal,

thrown into the pit, almost being murdered, forgotten in the prison.

Only God could have used my pain. Then he names

the second boy. And he names the second He calls

him from God has called me to be fruitful in

the land of I don't care what your pain is.

I don't care what your affliction is. God can redeem it.

God can restore it.

And then, last of all, it's concluded here in Genesis fifty.

But as for you, you meant it for evil for me,

but God meant it for good. That's the view of life.

God does not waste anyone's pain. Sometimes God uses the

pain to get your attention. Sometimes God uses your pain

to make life altering changes in your life. Sometimes God

uses the pain to put something in you that you've

never had before. And sometimes God uses it to help

others and to help something and to change something. Let

me give you a little bit of a quote here

today about this. It says, knees are often met by

others who once had that need. You look at nonprofits

out there. You look at people that are doing things.

They were once homeless, so they're helping homeless. They were

once abused and misused, so they're helping women that are

abused and misused. They were once abandoned and grew up

in orphanages, so they're helping foster children. They once had

stage for cancer, and so they volunteer without a paycheck,

to travel, donate a five on one, see give thousands

of dollars away. What has God delivered you from? And

how is God using you to go help other people?

Every one of you, every one of you have a past.

So tell me show me that's purpose, and that's and

that's and that's a calling. So now let's get into

the calling part. Now, my calling is my career. That's

not necessarily true. These are all falsehoods. One Corinthians seven and

verse seventeen says this let each one live his life

in the situation the Lord has assigned when God called him.

My calling is my career? Can I be doing something

that God did not call me to do?

Yep?

Can I see where God didn't allow me to go

into a certain vocation or occupation, He just shut it down.

So back to my scenarios, they're all three of those

experienced to know all three of them. When I went

into the Marine Corps, I got no. I got an

honest no, which rarely ever happens. Can I run from

the Marine Corps team? Yes, but you've got to try out.

I don't want to try out. I just want you

to guarantee it.

I got a know.

Can I take the written test? Yes, you could take

the written test, but you fail, but you could come

back now. Nope, that was a no. Yeah, I got

my I got my paycheck. But beyond that, the next race,

I didn't do good that I did before that was

enough of a no for me. Some people don't listen

to the nos, and so I want you to recognize

how can I change? Have I changed my career because

I discovered my calling? Has that ever happened to you?

Your career is what you get paid for. Or compensated

for by an earthly boss. Your calling is serving your

heavenly father without a paycheck, but an eternal reward.

That's the difference, right there, that's the difference.

See, you retire from a job, you retire from an occupation,

you retire from a vocation, but you never retire from

a calling. Please hear what I'm saying. Yeah, you were

a plumber for forty years, but now what Well, I'm

just gonna get in an RV and I'm gonna go

over to the Florida Man. I'm gonna wake up every

day and mow my lawn and play around the golf.

That's beautiful. But tell me where your calling Isn't that

that that sounds like heaven? And you're gonna get there

one day where you could kick back and do nothing.

But with all the devils and the demons in this world,

let's cast them out, let's rebuke something. Let's help some people.

I think I humbly could be an example of that.

If you want to just see a little bit of

my eyebrow raised, come to me and tell me how

are you enjoying your retirement? And you'll see this eyebrow

raised because I'm not retired. What am I doing now?

Retire people don't do this. Come with me on Thursday

where I volunteer and become a sheriff and right a

wrong and do deputy duties over there.

I don't get paid. Come with me to Healing Strong network.

We're trying to help you. I don't get paid for that.

I don't get one red scent from that. Retired What

are you talking about?

The God who shed his blood for me, I'm going

to retire from his service.

Let's move on while you still like me again. The

reality is a career is what you do. Nine to five.

A calling is what you do twenty four to seven,

Romans eleven, two more points than we're done Romans eleven,

twenty nine. But the Romans says, without the gifts in calling,

this is old King James. With the gifts and callings

of God are without repentance. This translation said Saince, God's

gracious gifts and callings are irrevocable gifts and callings of God.

My calling can be canceled and de terminated and aborted.

That's not true.

There's nothing you have done or have ever done, that

could end the calling of God on your life. Now

you may have forsaken it, discarded it, abandoned it, walked

away from it. But I want you to know that

you are still accountable to that calling. You're responsible for

that calling, and God still wants to use you in

that calling. And I've said this for years, it's not

how you start the race, it's how you finish the race.

Man.

I've had so many races that have had lousy beginnings,

lousy middles, but had a great kit coming in. Or

I was faster the second half of my race than

the first half, And so you could have just waste

your life.

You knew God called you to do something. God use

you even for a season.

But you went into the world and you made a

fortune and you forgot about God, or you went a

deviate way into a lifestyle. But now I want you

to recognize your full of shame, guilt and condemnation.

Could you ever come back? Yes?

And God could still use you with the years that

He has that you have.

It's how you start the race all you finish your race.

I love this.

Time times I go long drives and I punch in

my destination. It may say I'm going up to cohone pass,

I'm going to cahone. He'll say an hour and fifteen

minutes ETA. Well, Diego has a habit of making up

time on the ETA, and he takes it as a

personal challenge that he will beat the one fifty. And

you're telling me it's going to take me an hour

and forty five minutes, cha ching.

I get there an hour and twenty five minutes.

Now I have to drive at eighty five miles an

hour to get there.

But I but I make up for the time.

And God can make up for the lost time in

your life.

My last question to you and I'm done is found

in First Corinthians twelve and verse number eighteen.

But as it is, God has arranged.

Each one that's you, each one of the parts in

the body, just as he wanted. Last of all, my

calling is less important than someone else's calling. That's untrue,

absolutely untrue. Get out of the comparison game and get

out of the competition game. There are two extremes in

a person's life. Either they overestimate their importance or they

underestimate their importance. We have all these personality tests in

the world, the Enneagram test, the distests, strength finders, and

how many of you know they discover what you are

gifted to do. And so I want you to recognize

every one of you have a.

Particular gift that you have.

You have a personality, and with that comes experiences that

I don't share with you.

You have your own experiences.

I have straints and you have strengths, and they could

be different. You have stories that I don't have, but

I have stories. You have abilities that I don't have,

but I have my own abuilding out.

You have gifts.

I have gifts also, But we are to use all

that to the glory of God. And so it looks

like this as we finish this out and we draw

calling from you, and I pray these questions begin to

speak to you specifically about maybe what you're called to do,

what stirs your heart, what makes you angry today every

time you hear it, what makes you cry every time

you probably what you're called to. I can't watch a

commercial with cancer without yelling at that TV.

Because that's what I'm called to. What do you yell at?

What do you dream about what wakes you up, brings

you joy? What do others say you're good at? Sometimes

we can't see it for oursels and someone else you're

good at. That speaks about the uniqueness of who God

made you and the impact He wants you to make

in this planet. What comes easy to you? What came

easy to you as a child? If I took you back,

had a hidden camera. They're in elementary school. What were

you doing?

You're drawn all over the place. You're telling the.

Kids, line up, line up, get all the hair, line up.

To the little munchkin you were telling them to do that.

He had a big mouth back then. What comes naturally

to you? Just this instinctively, but it's very easy, but

it comes hard to everyone else.

Probably what you're called to do?

If if fear and finances schedule wasn't holding you back,

what would you be pursuing today?

What would you be doing? Have you accepted God's call? No?

No, have you accepted God's call to forgiveness?

Freedom?

I don't like that question there, eliminate that tomorrow. I

don't want to read that one number set. What do

you see fear and feel and know that others don't

What do you see that?

Didn't you see that? I didn't see it. Don't you

hear that? I don't hear nothing. Don't you feel that.

I don't feel nothing. Don't you know no? Because I

don't study that, I don't read that. I don't know

that's you're calling. I end with this. I pray it

helped you today. This is this is God's purpose for

your life.

And he made you very, very unique. He made you

to be used. He made you for a specific purpose.

But sometimes we walk out of God's purpose and we

enter into our own purpose and instead of being in

this box.

We're in this box.

This could be the world, this could be the devil's counterfeit,

but this could be your box of purpose that you built.

But I want you.

To get out of your purpose and out of your

box and come back to the God given purpose you've

wandered away.

Come back now. Father.

I pray that somehow you spoke, you ministered, you talk

to all of us in this room today. I just

pray that you activate the purpose of God in people's lives.

You make it crystal clear what the call of God

is on their lives to do God, and may they

do it until they go home to be with you,

Oh God. Your purpose is to know God and let

him be known. That's a purpose. But now you have

a calling with it special talents and gifts. You have

not just to make a li but to give back

into the Kingdom of God with that talent and gift.

Can God use your gift or does he have to

pay you.

The way the world pays you? Lord.

I just pray that everyone start fitting in the place

you've called them.

God.

There's any young people here today, God, speak to their heart,

even in their young age.

Let them have an overwhelming dream.

Let the parents hear what comes out of their mouths

and what they say and cultivate that and not trying

to force them to do something they want. Help them

to speak into that God so that they don't have

to go to college and never use that degree, because

that's not their calling, but it was ours.

We need a call of judging. Can we need this?

We need that. God doesn't have to be confusing.

God, make it really, really clear to every single person

in here. And may we have the courage God, May

we have the courage to do what You've asked us

to do.
