Adventist Radio London. Inspiration for the song in the Book of Genesis, chapter nineteen. The Book of Genesis, chapter nineteen were reading verses fifteen and sixteen. The Bible says, and when the morning arose, then the angels hastened, saying, arise, take thy wife and thy two daughters, which are here, lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city. And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters. The Lord, being merciful, unto him, and they brought him forth and set him without the city hearing if the reading of God's Holy Word, if I could just put a tag on the message, it would be destroying, lot destroying. Would you pray with me, Father in Heaven, in Jesus' name, we come. We come today because we need a word from the Lord. We don't come out of form and fashion, But God, we have gathered today because we need you to speak life. We need you to speak hope. We need you to speak deliverance. God. Today we need you to set the captives free. Today we need you to work another miracle. And so we invite you to show up in this place in a double portion, in a marked and special way. God, we want to hear a word from the Lord, and we promise that as you speak that we your children, will open our hearts in that word, and we will make the change necessary to live according to the word that is laid out today. This is our prayer in the mighty and majestic name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. Let everybody that loves him say Amen. Destroying Lot, destroying Lot. It's interesting to me the story that I find in Genesis nineteen, because it seems to me that Lot and God are on a collision course, because Lot is hell bent on destroying his life and God is hell bent on saving his life. And have you ever felt like that where you are on a collision course with God, that what you're trying to do is not what God is trying to accomplish in and through you. And every now and then I feel that there are many of us that are on a collision course with God. We're trying to destroy our lives and God is trying to save our lives. The Bible teaches us in the Book of Genesis that Lot is living in a place called Sodom. And you all have heard of Sodom and Gomarah. This is no new concept for you. You know that Sodom. The Bible describes Sodom as exceedingly wicked. Are we still together out there? And so I struggled because Lot is living in a city that is called exceedingly wicked. Now the question is how did Lot get to this city called Sodom that is exceedingly wicked. Well, you all know the story that Lot began on a journey with his uncle by the name of Abraham, and Abraham was looking for a city whose builder and maker was God. Abraham is on a sojourn looking for this promised land that God has promised to Abraham and to his children as an inheritance. Lot goes along with Abraham for the journey, and the Bible tells us in Genesis chapter thirteen. Stick with me, y'all, in Genesis thirteen, that Abraham and Lot, I have decided to part ways. And so Abraham says the Lot, wherever you choose, I'm gonna go in the opposite direction. You see, Abraham and Lot have both made their fortune in live stock. They all had they had goat and cows and sheep, and the Bible says that their herdsmen have begun to argue one another. There there was not enough land or enough space for both Abraham and Lot to dwell in the same place. My mother used to tell me that two bulls can't rule in the same pen. And so Abraham says the Lot, we've got to separate. You go your way and I'll go my way. And this is where the story starts to take an interesting turn, because in Genesis thirteen, the Bible says that Lot chooses the plane of Sodom because Sodom was well watered and beautiful, And so a Lot chows to pitch his tent towards Sodom because of what Sodom looked to like. Are you all still with the preacher out here? If I had time to preach this morning, I would tell you that you can't always make your decision based on what it looks like. I wish y'all knew what the preacher was talking about. Just because she is fine and divine doesn't mean that she's the one for you. Just because he is cute, just because she has a she sees her hits swear as though attached to a pendulum. Just because she has a cute face and a thin waist, just because she's thicker than a sticker with a Coca Cola about of shape, doesn't mean that she's the one for you. I wish I had a witness out here. Just because he has a six pack doesn't mean that he's the man for you. Is there anybody that can attest to the fact that you found somebody that looked good but they really weren't good. Hello, somebody because just because they look good I mean that they's the one for you. And I've found out in my life and through my experience that I cannot make decisions based upon what it looks like. I've bought some cars based on their paint job, but they had problems with the transmission because you can't make a decision based upon what it looks like. And what I figured out is that every good decision is not a God decision. I wish I had a church right about now. Just because it looks good doesn't mean that it's what God has ordained for my life. And so if I make decisions based upon how it looks, I'll probably always get into trouble. If you marry somebody based upon how they look. When gravity starts to take its course, You're gonna become disappointed. If you marry somebody based upon how good they look. They are one car accident away from checking up all your dreams and hopes and aspirations. What I came to tell you is you can't make decisions based on how it looks. So Lot chooses Sodom because Sodom looks good. Y'all stick with me. I'm going somewhere. So Genesis thirteen, he pitches his tenth towards shot Him Genesis fourteen. A week. When we get to Genesis fourteen, the Bible tells us that Sodom has been invaded and Lot was taken along with the people of Sodom. Because Lot lived in Sodom. Now you all hear me. In thirteen he lived, he pitches sin toward Shotam. In fourteen, he's living in Sodham. By the time we get to Tennesee, chapter nineteen, the Bible says that Lot is sitting in the gate of the city of Sodam. Now to sit in the city gate means that Lot is one of the elders of the city of Sodom. It's at the city gate that business, the city's business, is transacted. And is that the city gate that that that laws are discussed, debated and enacted. It is at the city gate that the elder sits. So not only does Lot live in Sodham, but Lot runs Sodham. Go and see, my struggle here is not that that we should not hold political positions. It's not that we shouldn't be in leadership. But my problem is that it seems to me that Lot is Insidom, not for what he could give to Sidam, but for what he could take from Sodam. So my question to you is what are you doing here in London? Are you here merely for what you can take or are you here to give? Y'all got quiet on me here. I know that the pound is stronger than the guy in these dollars. I know that the pound is stronger than the Jamaican dollar. I understand the economic motivations being here, But but my question is are you here merely to take or are you here to give? Do you have something that the world needs? Do you have something that the community needs to Do you have something that this road needs? You? See, too often we view ourselves as being present merely to benefit from and not to bring a benefit to. You. See, if Lot were Insidom to preach the gospel, I would have been high fiving Lot. But love was not inside them to bring the message of hope too. Slot Up. Lot was merely Insidham to take from the prosperity and the wealth and the riches of Sodom. There's a problem when you're willing to take the wealth and the prosperity of an overtly wicked system without bringing a word of rebuke or righteousness to that system. God, don't get quiet on me now. I told you all. I need somebody to say amen to me. How do you know that Lot is spiritually bankrupt? Preacher, I'm glad you asked, because we see his spirit his drip into Sodom. And as we watch his drip into Sodom, we see something spiritually begin to happen with a Lot. How do you know The Bible says that two angels come to Sodom at the evening time. And when the two angels show up in Sodom, Lot sees them, and Lot says to them, you all have to come to my house tonight. So that I can provide some food and a place to sleep for you. It seems that a Lot is doing something very spiritual, but not really. You see, while a Lot is doing something hospitable, it is not necessarily spiritual. Preacher, how do you know, because if you juxta post lots greeting to these two angels, to what Ai Abraham said to the same angels who had visited him in chapter eighteen, we see a marked difference. When Abraham sees these angels, Abraham says to them, my Lord, if now I have found favor in your sight, pass not away. I pray you from your servant, let a little water. I pray you be fetched, and wash your feet, and rush yourselves under the tree. What Abraham says is, if I have found favor in your sight, then I want you to come to my house. Abraham recognized to say he's not worthy of these heavenly beings standing under his roof, But Lot behaves as though he's behaved doing them a favor. He says that y'all don't have anywhere else to stay tonight, so y'all come on to my house, and I'm gonna show you a good time. Abraham recognized that his service was unto the Lord, but Lot thought that he was just being hospitable, showing somebody a good time. It is this insensitivity to the divine that is problematic for spiritual growth, because if you're gonna be a spiritual person, you've got to recognize spiritual things. Well. The Bible says that, after all, that spiritual things are spiritually discerned, and so if you are not spiritual, you wouldn't be able to understand when a spiritual move is happening. If you are not spiritual, you wouldn't recognize the presence of the Divine in your life. And I am sick and tired of advertis who have lost the sacredness of spiritual things. I mean, I may sound old school, and that's all right, but you all remember when we used to have worship on Friday night and welcome the Sabbath, y'all remember we used to see hymns like safely through another week. God has brought us on our way. But it seems like sacred things have begun to lose this sacredness. There's a time where had been they if they worked on Friday, they would leave half day on Friday. Now we trample on the edges of the Sapa. There was a time where advenist thought that there was something special and sacred about the sanctuary. I remember when I was a little boy, and when I was just eight years old, I wanted to preach so bad. After church, when everybody would leave the sanctuary, I would sneak up unto the pulpit and I would start preaching my sermon, and the deacons would come and say, get down, Get down, get down. Don't you recognize that that sacred space. You shouldn't be up there. And all I was trying to do was preach. Nowadays we trash the house of the Lord, have mundane conversations in the presence of God. Also quiet on me. Let our children run up and down as though it's no longer God's holy price. I remember, we wouldn't put anything on top of the Bible. You all remember that if you put a songbook on top of the Bible, some old lady would take the songbook and put it under the Bible. You all remember that. But sacred things have begun to lose their sacredness. And I'm not even talking about your body being the temple of the Lord and the temple of the Holy Ghost. Your body is supposed to be a sacred space for God. But now you drink all that liquor. Don't get quiet on me. I know Christmas just passed. You had the liquor in your sorrow. I'm not even gonna look up. I'm just gonna keep looking down at the Bible. You had the liquor in the sorrow. You put wine in there, you put rum in there. You had the liquor in the cake. I'm not gonna look up. I'm gonna keep looking down. I know that someone is being convicted right now. You put the liquor in the cake. You told me, you said, here the little old ladies, they say, oh, Pastor, we baked the cake with the liquor. But but the liquor bakes out of the cake. I understand the liquor baking out, But the truth is that you bathed the cake and liquor after you maked it. Why are y'all so quiet on me out there? Sacred things have lost their sacredness. Lot is entertaining angels and he doesn't even recognize it. It is a shame. But this supposedly man of God has lost his spiritual bearings. So the Bible says that he says, to the men of the town, come to the men visiting the angels, come to my house. He says, I'm gonna show you a good time. And the Bible says that they went to his house and he made a feast. Now this tells me that had a little bit of money, y'all, are you all still with me out there? Had a little bit. Lot prepares a feast, I mean the finest, you name it, Lot have provided it. Curry goat hell? Know somebody bus up shut? Are you all still with the preacher out there? Pepper Pot? Is there anybody with me out there? I mean you name it, I mean jull Off Wrights. Are we still together? He had the spread going on. Lot prepared everything for these men. The Bible tells us that at evening time, after the sun has said, I'm sure the men have eaten it, it's around bedtime that all the men of Sodom come and knock on Lot's door. The men of Sodom say, Lot, we need you to bring those two men out that came to visit you, because we need to sleep with them. Lot goes outside, and Lot says to the men. He says, don't do this wickedness, y'all, he says, don't try to sleep with my guests. He says, I have a better idea. I have two virgin daughters that have not known man. I will bring them out to you and you can do with them as you please. Somebody said Lot reminds them of R. Kelly. Y'all, y'all, don't get quiet on me in here. See. I know that over the years we've thought that Lot was such a spiritual man. But I'm sorry that I came to burst your bubble. But the only spiritual thing to do or say is a stand up and say, y'all not sleeping with anybody tonight? Are you all still with me out there? But because a Lot has drifted so far from God, hear me, Lot becomes a man of compromise, and so Lot says, Okay, don't do the wickedness and sleep with my guests. Instead, sleep with my daughters. Don't engage in homosexuality, just engage in one tend of fornication and adultery. Because ultimately Lot is into the business of categorizing sin. Are you all still with me out there? And so one sin is higher in Lot's mind than another sin, and so Lot says, let me suggest to you a lower sin instead of the higher sin that you have. And a Lot is out here, I saying to them, don't sleep with my guests, because I've got to be hospitable. But I have two virgin daughters. Now, if Lot was supposed to be spiritual, the spirituality has gone out the window because he's a man of compromise, and he's really a hypocritical guy because he views some sins as higher than others. And it seems like the Lot attitude is permeating the church even to today, because we still believe that there are some sins that are greater than others. Y'all, don't get quiet on me in here today, because what I've found out is that all sin is sin, and all sin will take you to hell? Are you all with the preacher out there? Don't tell me that there are some higher than others. The Bible says, if you're guilty of one, you're guilty of all. We like to categorize and have a hierarchy of sins. I remember an elder called me one time, I may never get invited back to Holloway so I'm just gonna preach it like I feel it. An elder called me one time. There was a young girl who was pregnant and she had not been coming to church prior to getting pregnant. She got pregnant and started coming to church. Are you all with me out there now? This might be a unique situation. The elder called me and said, pastor, when are we gonna bring this up at the boarder? You know what? Her response was, never, Why y'alls quiet on me out there? Y'all don't get quiet on me today. I said that when we're gonna bring it up at the board, we're gonna bring it up at the board. When we bring your situation up at the board, We're gonna bring it up at the board. When we bring up your wife's to the boy, when we bring up your gossiping ways to the board, your nasty destructive tendencies to the board. Y'all don't get quiet on me in here. So they brought it up in eldest meeting. They said they weren't gonna bring it up on the board. They brought it up in eldest meeting. They said past that we need to discuss it. It's a spiritual concern. I said. Okay, sounds good. I said, let's discuss. Said okay, let me ask you guys, has she been to the doctor since she got pregnant? The eldest said, we don't know. I said, okay, let me ask you a question. Has she been taking prenatal vitamins? We don't know? Said okay. Are they planning a baby shower for her? Well, we don't know, I said, okay, So do me a fever. Get the answer to all of those questions, and then we can start talking about discipline, because y'all have this hierarchy of sins. Y'all don't get quiet on the preacher out there today. And you can live as nasty as you want. You can run as many people out of the church as you want. You can gossip as much as you want, you can hurt people as much as you want. You can be as mean spirited as you want. But as long as you're not pregnant, you're fine. Let me tell you a lot was a man that engaged in a hierarchy of sense, and he's not spiritual whatsoever. But not even worse. What kind of father can take is two young daughters who have never known a man and offered them to a mob of hungry, horny, angry men. Why are you gouiet on me in here? Lot was offering his daughters to be gang raped. There's not spiritual about life. But the truth is that there's so many of us who channel that lot of behavior. And we demonstrate compromise week in and week out, day in and day out. And if you just scroll over the pages of your life, you can see the compromise in your own experience. I don't have to preach about it. You know the compromise of your life. You know the places where you've compromised. You know the places where you've gone into area. You know where you've been hypocritical, where you've been duplicitous. A Lot is a man of compromise. Let me move on. I feel like I'm losing you off. Lot is a man, a man of compromise. So the angels pull a Lot back into the house. They strike the men of the town with blindness, and they say to the men of the town. The men of the town grow up and find their way back home. The Bible says, and the angels say, the Lot, Lot, We've come to destroy Sodom. Now, we need to get you and your family out before we destroy So they say, Lot, if you know of any family members who need to get out, go tell them. Now. Lot goes to his two sons in laws. I want you ought to hear this. Now. He goes to his two sons and Lass, who are supposed to marry his daughters, and says to them, guys, Sodom is gonna be destroyed. We've got to get out of here. You know what the boy's response were. They laugh, You know that good Jamaican lady, you know if they were real Jamaican and saying why even belly, You know, it was that kind of laugh. You know why they were laughing at Lot because Lot had lost all of his spiritual influence. They said, there ain't no way hose perceivedly Lot is preaching the gospel. There is no way possible that Lot is bringing a spiritual message. How in the world is Lot the one that's telling us that Sodom is going to be destroyed. It's not possible. You want to know why, because lots of lifestyle and lots of words were in such contradiction that his influence had been lost. How do you know it. Preacher Lot goes out to the men of the city of Sodom. All of the men of the city of Sodom ready to have sex with the two angels, and Lots says to them, don't do this. And if you don't read the response from the men of the city of Sodom, you would never realize how much influence Lot has really lost. The men of Sodom says, look at Lot, this soul journer who has come to live among us, if now become a judge over us, which means all the years that Lot has been in Sodom, he's never set up for righteousness, said, what's a positive word? Never lifted up the banner of Prince Emmanuel, and now a Lot wants to preach. You know why some of us can never reach anybody with the Gospel because of the lives we've lived. You can't invite people from your job to church because they know the jokes that you tell, they know the stories that you tell. You can't invite any of your family members the church because they know the real you. Many of us have lost so much influence because of the contradiction between our walk and our talk. If you're in here today, I want you to know I'm gonna give you a good measure, measuring an instrument to figure out if you have any spiritual influence. If you have children and they ask you to pray for them, you're doing all right. If you ask yourself when the last time one of my family members asked me to pray for them. The people who know you best, if they don't ask you to pray, they don't see any God in you. If they ask you to pray, they still see some God in you. Are you all with me out there? If your wife asks you to pray, you're doing alright. If your husband asked you to pray, you're doing all right. Something's right. But if nobody asks you to pray, or if nobody close to you ask you to pray, because you can fake it for the church people, y'all are so quiet on me in here today. I feel like if you can't say a man, just say ouch, good grief. You know what I'm saying. But literally, if nobody close to you ask you to pray for them, then you could just tell yourself that you need to reevaluate whether you're living right or not. All right, I've kept you too long. Let me get ready to land the plane. See that's how I test if you all are enjoying the sermon or not. At my church. Pastor Gillen at my church a couple of weeks ago, two weeks ago, literally, I said, all right, I'm gonna land the plane. And somebody said landed, Pastor. I cussed him out. I said, y'all are not supposed to talk to me like that. You all are supposed to say, take your time, preacher, preach as long as you want. So last week I went back after I cust him out the prior prior week, and I said it on purpose. I said, in conclusion, they said take your time, past, to take your time. A while ago, I said I'm gonna land the plane. Everybody said, I'm gonna bring it home. So so the angels they grabbed a Lot and his wife and his two daughters. And the Bible says that they pull them out of Sodom. No, no, no, no. Not only does the Bible say that they pull them out of Sodom, but the Bible says that in the morning, when they said to them it's time to go, Lot hesitated. Uh so Lot wasn't ready to leave Sodom, you see, because the problem was not that lot was living in sodom. The problem was that Sodom was living in lots. You ever heard them say you could take a man out of the country, but you can't take the country out the man. See, some of y'all know exactly what I'm talking about, because you came here from the Caribbean, and they thought that taking you from the Caribbean was gonna turn you into a British man. And in some respects you're British. You know, you know how to put on your suit and you go out and you know, you really fake the funk. But when you get home, we know that you really are a country man. Somebody said a bushman. First of all, you wear this vest that has all these holes, this stringy kind of vests. Can I preach the truth? So we know that you're a bushman. You're in England, but you still a bushman. You know the British folks they wear their slippers in the house, but you prefer to go barefoot. You're a bushman. Can we just be honest about as a matter of fact, this is how you can really tell a bush man. If everyone's food has been shared, and the bushman's food is left in the pot. Some of you all already know what I'm gonna say. There's no need for a plate anymore. The bushmen can't eat out the pot. Are you all with me out there? And the bushman doesn't need a fork. A real bushman eats with a spool, or they use their head. Lord have mercy. That's a cave. No, no, no, no, that's a vote. Lot was like that. You could take a lot out of sodom, but you couldn't get sodom out of Lot. There was so much sodom in Lot that Lot could not imagine living outside of sodom. The angels literally had to grab a lot and pull a lot out of sodom. When Lot gets outside of sodom, the angels say the Lot, Lot, run to the mountains because we're about to destroy Sodom. And Lot says, I can't go to the mountains. I need to go somewhere that is still has a little bit of running water. I need to go somewhere where I can still get access to granted countertops and and put some marble on my floor. Let me go to this little town over here. Literally, Lot says this, And when he went to the little village, they overturned stom. They destroyed it with fire and brimstone. As they're running, the angel said, don't look back, no matter what you hear, don't look back. But missus Lot just could not help it. She had to take one more look at her home, and she turned into a pillar of salt. It's sad that the demise of Lot. Lot goes and lives in Zoar. People of Zor says, it's your fault why sodom is destroyed. You're the only one left, and Lot ended up in the wilderness. Anyhow, Lot is in the wilderness now his two daughters, those virgins, still virgins. Poor girls, he said, we've never known man. The only way we're ever gonna experience the joy of motherhood. I wish I could tell a woman don't get desperate. The only way I can enjoy no joy of motherhood is if I get my father drunk and he impregnates me. So Lot, who is willing to give his daughters up for gang rape. These same two daughters now engage Lot in an incestuous relationship. You see how sin comes back around. They have two sons, one has a son named Moab, who becomes the father of the Moabites. Another has just has a son by the name of ben Ami. He becomes a father of the Ammonites, and the Moabites, and the Ammonites would be the ship the enemies of the Israelites for generations. Lot's great legacy is a legacy of destruction. That's why I say to you, I said at the beginning of the sermon, seems like Lot and God are on a collision course. God is actively trying to rescue Lot, and Lots is actively trying to destroy his life. And there are many of us who are like Lot today, on that collision course with God. God trying to rescue and we attempting to destroy. I don't wanna leave you here, though, cause if you ask me, doctor God are If you ask me whose fault all of this is, It's Abraham's fault. Somebody is wondering, Preacher, what in the world are you talking about. It's Abraham's fault. Because Abraham didn't know how to make a good deal. You all are still lost. It was Abraham who came up with a deal with God that said, if there were ten righteous in Sodom, that Sodom would not be destroying. And coincidentally, I wanna let you know that Sodom wasn't destroyed because of too much homosexuality. Well, don't get quiet on me in here. Sodom was destroyed because there weren't ten righteous people in Zada. It wasn't because of the sinners. Sodom was destroyed because Sodom Church had closed down. And the problem and if it London is destroyed tonight, it won't be because there's too much sin. The Bible says that where sin abounds, grace that much more abounds. The problem with London tonight, if it's gonna be destroyed, is not with the sinners. It's with the church. Okay, that was too deep for somebody to receive today. But I blamed Abraham because Abraham made a bad deal. He should have gotten the Reesa made, negotiators made. He might have been able to why why why why laughing her negotiators might have Okay, he should have got Trump to make the deal. Trump wrote the book The Art of the Deal, could have made Sodom great again. No, but seriously, y'all are wondering what am I talking about? You see, you see Abraham back up to chapter eighteen. Let me let me remind you I'm almost through. Let me remind you what happened in chapter eighteen. God is going now to go destroy Sodom, and God says, should I tell Abraham what I'm getting ready to do because Abraham is a friend of God. And so God vacillates for a second, and God says to Abraham, We're going down to Sodom to destroy Sodom, and Abraham cuts the deal. Abraham says, God, I know that you're a good God, You're fear and so if there's a little righteousness in Sodom, will you spare Sodom? And God says, sore, I'll spear Sodom for some righteousness. And so Abraham says, if they're fifty righteous, will you spaar stot them? And God says, for fifty, you got a deal. Abraham counts up and realizes that he doesn't have fifty. He says, God, I don't want to trouble you, but about forty five? God says, forty five, you got a deal. He counts up and he still doesn't make it to forty. He says, okay, God, what about forty and God says forty, you got a deal. And Abraham says, okay, God, can we come down to thirty? And God says, for thirty you have a deal. Abraham counts, and he realized he doesn't have there. He says, how about twenty, God? And God says, for twenty, you've got a deal. And then Abraham counts and and he says, I don't have twenty, but I'm confident that I have ten. What about ten? Lord? And the Lord says, if there are ten righteous in Sodom, I will spare Sodom. One of the problems with Abraham's negotiating is that Abraham views salvation as based upon righteousness, and what Abraham understands is that if you're righteous, then you ought to receive salvation. I'm gonna leave that just right there for just a second. The other problem that Abraham had is that Abraham counted people in who were out. And I'm sure he probably counted some people out who were in. And so I've stopped trying to figure out who's out and who's in. Because the Bible says, let the wheat and tears grow together until the time of harvest, and my Bible says in Revelation that one day Jesus is gonna thrust in the sickle and he's gonna reap, and then he'll be able to separate the wheat from the tears. All right, y'all are still quiet, But let me give it to you like this. You see, Abraham messed up because he viewed South Basin as being based upon righteousness, and so God could only save Sodom if there were ten righteous people in Todom. Abraham should have cut a better deal. Abraham should have said, God, what if there are no righteous people in Sodom? What if nobody loves you in Sodom? Can you just save Sodom because of your own goodness and because of your own mercy, because of your own righteousness? Y'all a feeling me. I'm glad that two thousand years ago Abraham did not negotiate the deal for family, because two thousand years ago our world was plunged in darkness. And I'm glad that it was Jesus who negotiated the deal. There was no righteousness to be found on the earth, there was no faith to be found on the earth. But Jesus stood up off of his throne and he leaned aside his crown. He put down his scepter, took off his long white robe. He went down the backstairs of heaven. He got on the train of time. He rode forty two centuries. He got off one night in Bethlehem of Judea. He went and hid in Egypt. He was raised in Nazareth. He went to an old rugged cross. They hung him high, and they stretched him wide. They buried him in a borrow too. And along the way he didn't look for righteousness, because he understood that he came to seat and saved the loss. And so they buried him in a borrow too. But you all know the story that early on Sunday morning, Jesus came out of the tomb, all power in his hands. He comes out of the too, with the keys the death, Hell and the Great. He comes out the two. And when he comes out, I come out too. And so I joined Paul in staying, I am Lord than a conqueror. Tou Jesus Christ, my lord, I see you see Abraham, for luck was not saved because of his righteousness. The Bible makes it clear if you read verse sixteen. The Bible says that God pulled Lot out based upon his mercy. If you read further in the chapter, it's asked that God remembered Abraham and he rescued Luck. And see, my brothers and sisters. Lot was not saved based upon his righteousness. He was saved based on the goodness of God. Two thousand years ago on Calvary, I was not saved based on my righteousness, but I was saved based upon the goodness of God. I joined with the songwriter and say, marvelous grace of my loving Lord, Grace that exceeds our sin and our guilt.
