The Real Cost of Revival || Pastor Adam Mesa

We like to be like you as cold out. I'd

love a little blanky right now. But it's good to

see everybody in the house today. Here's let me say

this before we get started. Number one, we had our

Family to Family Thanksgiving outreach yesterday and man, it was phenomenal.

Across four cities Rancho Cucamonga, Pomona, Alameda, and Corona. We

fed and gave food to three thousand and one hundred

families which represented over twelve thousand people. Thank you so much,

Thank you so much for your generosity. In fact, this

was in other years we have been able to meet budget.

This is one of the years actually that we exceeded

our budget for Family to Family and so what our

team did is the last minute they went to literally

dozens of Costcos, State Brothers routes and just got more

and more food and package more things and so we

just increases people's plates this weekend. And so thank you

so much for your generosity because people were blown away.

And we have an incredible partnership at our Generosity Center

with food vendors all over like Costco and others, and

they were just blessing us with like.

Poppy sodas and all that that's like not cheap stuff.

You know, and we're giving us great palettes of stuff

to bless people.

And so it was an incredible weekend.

We also had over a thousand volunteers across all campuses

and so.

Thank you so much.

Thank you to those who served yesterday. Many of you

gave up an entire Saturday to serve. And here in

Rancho we had thousands of cars come through.

Pomona had record setting.

They had nine hundred cars that went into Pomona, shut

the entire north side of Pomona down on Holt. It

was incredible what God did. And in Corona, our team,

we don't really have a campus there yet. So the

Corona team went to local grocery stores and they had

turkey set up and they were giving them out and saying, hey,

if anyone here can't afford a turkey, we love to

bless you with one and a gift card that when

you go in to stators, grab some of the things

that you need.

And so your generosity pushed that forward, and I want

to thank you so much. Family.

It may seem as simple as just putting food on

someone's table, but believe it or not, you know, being

the hands and feet of Jesus and supplying a simple

meal to someone.

That's an open door for the gospel.

That's an open door to show that God is thinking

of them.

See, the world we live in is not a generous world.

The world we live in, nobody's thinking about anybody but

themselves for the most part. And so when you have

people in the name of Jesus say hey, we're blessing

you in Jesus's name, immediately God starts to.

Stir something in them.

And over the years, I've met people who have given

their life to Jesus here at Patria, all because we

supplied a meal to them on Thanksgiving.

And so thank you so much for doing that.

As we go into generosity moment, you know, this weekend's

a special weekend because we call it Vision Sunday. It's

a day where we as a family for those that

consider Patreon their home church, It's where we celebrate what

God has done over this year, over in twenty twenty five.

So in a few moments, I'm gonna just kind of

share some data, like how many salvations we've had and

how many people have started to join our church or

be part of our family. We're also talking a little

bit about our giving towards the end. If you're new here,

first thing I want.

To say is, this isn't something we do every single weekend, Okay.

And so I know someone's thinking, oh, I invited my

friend for the first time, they're not getting a full sermon. Well,

come back next week. Okay, next week we will be

back to normal. You will be full from your turkey

on next Sunday. And so you could come back next Sunday.

But you're still gonna I believe God is still gonna

speak to you today. But really part of today is

a family meeting, and so in this family meeting, I'm

gonna talk a little bit about where your generosity has

gone throughout the year, but also where we're headed in

twenty twenty six. Just some great things that we believe

God is doing in our church.

And so here's what I want to do.

If you're new to church, I just want to define

some terms, because as I share today, you're gonna hear

me say some things, and I want you to know

when I say some of these things what I'm referring to. Okay,

So overall, as a church, we call any act of

financial giving. We just call it generosity because we believe

that it's hard to be a grouch when you're generous. Now,

you can donate something and still be grumpy about it,

but when you're generous, it just doesn't feel right to

be angry at the same time, and so we call

it generosity.

But under generosity is a few things.

This is something that if you're part of patrioon, really

only at any church, you'll normally talk about these two things.

Here's what they are. The first thing we would normally

talk about in church is called tides tithes. A tithe

is a set amount regularly that has been predetermined in

your heart and given consistently, commonly known as ten percent.

That's literally what tithe means is ten percent of your income.

But it can always start somewhere. So if you ever

hear us talk about the tithe, I want you to

do this more than anything, not really think of a

percentage of your income.

Think more so of oh, this is something.

That I've regularly in my heart said that I'm going

to put aside monthly to my local church. And so

you may do it. When you get paid on the

first or the fifteenth. You may just do it only

on the first. But here's the thing. Our church can

only function truly off of what's given regularly in the

tithe because.

What an offering is. An offering is a.

One time act of giving and is either above and

beyond your tithe or simply felt by God to give

one time amount. So maybe all of a sudden, through

some type of way, you get blessed with money that

you didn't expect and you say to yourself, you know,

I didn't really need this, and so I want to

give some to my church because they've been a blessing.

Well, that's an offering.

And if we were able to minister to people only

based off of the offering, we would be limited with

our capacity of what we could do. Because if we

only could do based off of people's generosity when they

felt like it, it means that maybe on one Sunday the

doors would be open, and maybe on another Sunday they

wouldn't be open, or maybe one day we'd be able

to counsel on the next day because we'd say, oh,

we're waiting for people's offering to come in. But when

people tied, they sat in their heart and say, you

know what, just like everything else, I'm gonna say every

single month, I'm gonna give something to my church.

And the Bible says you go and ask God what

that is.

You know, tithe is just a good principle that comes

from the Old Testament.

But it is not limited to just that.

It's whatever God would put on your heart and to

start somewhere. That's fine, start somewhere. But here's why that's important.

Because I want you to imagine if one day, maybe

you have a mortgage, or maybe you have an apartment.

I just want you later on this afternoon, all your

mortgage company and say, hey, guys, I had an incredible idea.

I only want to pay my mortgage when I feel

led to pay my mortgage.

You guys, okay with that?

They'll say, Nope, that bill is still gonna come on

the first, and we're gonna need that paid on the first.

They're gonna say, hey, we need you to regularly take

care of this. And so as we talk about tide,

that's kind of what we're referring to. It's something in

your heart that you just say, Hey, this is what

I regularly want to contribute. Because this is my local church,

this is the house of God that I attend. My

children's needs get met, my teenagers needs get met, my

families needs get met.

This is a place that I worship.

The reason why the church exists is not only to

show the hands and feet of Jesus, but our church

exists is in the church in general exists so that

we can worship the God who saved us, so that

we could worship Jesus and come together and we can

grow in the Word of God.

And that's what we want here in the House of God.

Here's the next two things that are actually just temporary

things that you'll hear me talk about. Number one is

our Beyond campaign. This is something we started in February.

In February, what we've done is we said, hey, church,

we have a twenty million dollar vision over the next

three years to do.

Some incredible projects as a church.

This is what we call going beyond and seeing God

go beyond in our church. It's a three year step

of faith of twenty million dollars, a vision not of

equal amounts, but of equal sacrifice. This goes from twenty

twenty five to the end of twenty twenty seven. The

reason why I tell you that is cause you're gonna

hear me reference Beyond today, and I want you to

know what I'm talking about. It's a it's a temporary

three year campaign that we're doing. And here's what I

want to share with you is, so far in this campaign,

we have had two point twelve point five million dollars

committed to the Beyond campaign, representing twenty five hundred families.

But on top of that already given in money. Just

in the past eight months, three point five million dollars

has been given towards the Beyond campaign.

And that includes going to our campuses.

That goes into all the things that you can see,

their new campuses, our counseling center, which we'll share about today,

parking expansions because all of our campuses are out of parking,

sanctuary upgrades, kids and youth space upgrades, and so we

are in year one of that campaign. And since today's

a kind of our family day where we share those

updates transparently, you will hear us talk about that.

Here's the last thing.

Because we normally gives our ties in offering Beyond, it

is something that maybe you've committed to. If you leave

today and you want to make a commitment you can

do so when you leave. And so there's no really

big ass for generosity other than what you're regularly doing

or maybe what you've all regularly committed to between your

ties and you're beyond.

And so what we wanted to.

Do as a church is we wanted to partner with

a global initiative with family to family. We took care

of those that were in our backyard, but what we

also want to do is take care of those that

are in the nations that are living upop poverished state.

It's been said that even those that live in poverty

in America are still in the top two percent of

the world when it comes to poverty. Is that the

rest of nations, many children don't have mothers and fathers, orphanages,

there's thousands upon them all across the world. And so

we partner with an organization called Convoy of Hope that

we love so much.

They do an incredible work for children, they.

Do an incredible work for women who don't have fathers

or husbands in their life that maybe they've died from

poverty or other things like that. And so what we

did is they actually have orphanages all across the world

in Africa, Asia, Europe, South America, even America. They have

feeding centers and they feed six hundred and thirty nine

thousand children every single day.

Every single day, they feed six.

Hundred and thirty nine thousand children. That's two hundred and

thirty three million meals a year that Convoy of Hope

gives to children in their orphanages. And they're feeding centers.

And as a church, we said, hey, for one weekend,

this weekend, we want to do something called one day.

And I have a graft and here's what one day is.

All one day is if you would prayerfully consider this

Thanksgiving week is that, if you have the finances to

do this, if you would consider giving one day of

your wage to feed.

Children across the world.

And I have a simple grapt there that breaks down

what a one day's wage may look like for you. You

may be here and say, you know what money's really tight.

I don't have one day's wage. Would you consider half

a day's wage? You may say I don't even have

a half a day's wage? Would you consider one hour

of your wage? If you have it, It's not an

all or nothing type of thing. It costs about fifty

cents per child to feed them. And so what we're

really believing as a church last week we just mentioned

it and we didn't even.

Say start giving.

We've already had people give twelve thousand dollars towards this

to feed children.

Just in the past seven days.

This is the weekend that we start to do this

for those children. And so what we want to give

to we may not be able to feed six hundred

and thirty nine thousand children. It would actually cost three

hundred thousand dollars to just provide one meal for all

of those children.

But here's what I do know is we can.

Do our part. It's not equal gift, it's just equal sacrifice.

And immediately what happens is when a couple of weeks

we'll share an update on how your generosity moved in

those children's lives. And so whenever you're ready, when you

leave today, you could simply do so.

Most of us know how to do it.

But also when you go to give, all you would

do is click one day of hope, and then that's

how you'll be able to give towards those children in need.

And one hundred percent of what you give to one

day goes immediately to providing meals for those children. Because

we don't have a big ass this weekend, we wanted

to say, hey, we wanted to put food on children's

plates this year as well for our Vision Sunday.

We always have a global initiative on our Vision Sunday.

And so all these things are if you be led

to do that by the Holy Spirit. Okay, this is

not something that we try to guilt of you or

try to force upon you.

This is something that when you hear that, if your.

Heart stirs and God says, hey, you should do that,

then all we do is create space for us to

live generously. People always come to me and say, Pastor Adam,

I'm gonna you know, when I check out at this place,

they ask me, do I want to round up or

do I want to give to this to that. I

would just love my giving to go through my local

church that has vetted places know that they're preaching the gospel.

All these children get Jesus shared to them.

So it's a place that not only feeds them naturally,

but it feeds them spiritually. And those two things are

important when it comes to their lives as well, to

give them an eternal hope of God's goodness and mercy.

And so if you feel prompted today, whether it's through

your regular gift or anything like that, you can do

so on our website. Well, I'm about to get into

the message and share some other Vision Sunday things, but

before I do, we do have kind of a beyond

update where we are going to be opening our counseling

center on January, the first week of January, and we

are so excited and so in one week we will

start installing the furniture and everything else. And so Pastor

Aaron had the team. It's your generosity that's allowed us

to do this, and it's incredible how many people that

we serve. You know, most churches don't have a counseling center.

They have a partnerships that people can go to that

they have to pay out a pocket or they have to.

Go and use their insurance.

We are actually one of the only churches not in California,

but in an America that has a full time counseling

center for individuals. But it's because it's in our vision.

That's not to say anything Nate. There's a lot of

churches and they have a lot of other focuses. For us,

walking people through the daily things that they go through

is really important to us as a church, and it's

important to our ministry because a lot of people are

hurting and we want to just be able to spend

an hour with people as they go through things. And

that's what our Karen Counseling does, and we have licensed

therapists and licensed pastors that walk people through. And we'll

share a little update about how many families we've served

in how many hours we have served just in our

counseling center right now.

So let's go ahead and check out this beyond update.

Earlier this year, Pastor Adam gave us a Beyond update

and he shared the vision of our counseling and care center.

And I'm so happy to report that, based upon your generosity,

this project is almost complete. When we first dreamed of

this place, it wasn't just about walls. It was more

about building people, creating a home for healing. We as

a part of our Beyond campaign, wrote names on the

walls in faith, and each name has a story, a voice,

and a heart reaching out for hope. You know, over

the past year, we baptized over nineteen hundred people.

Many of those people were names that you wrote on.

The Beyond Wall. Now, from the Beyond Wall to the

baptism water and now our counseling center, we're just getting started.

Peace by peace is coming together as we partner along

in faith in people's journey.

These rooms will be spaces where people sit.

Talk, pray, and rebuild their hope in Christ.

This past year, we.

Reached over five hundred and fifty one people through counseling.

That's more than seven hundred and fifty hours of care

at no cost. We believe God will use these spaces

to touch and transform many more lives at all of

our campuses based upon your generosity, and we're using every resource,

from in person care to advanced technology and virtual counseling,

so healing can reach.

Further than ever before. We're not just building space.

We're building a place where hurt meets hope, where stories change,

where God rewrites lives. Hey, let's share one of the

many stories of transformation that happens here at Patria.

My name is Diana and I Lay and this is

my story. What was life like? It was typical school

drop offs, after school activities. I May was in competitive chair.

She was going to cheer two third times a week. Well,

when we found out that she had the tumor, I

wanted to believe that it was benign. So when we

got the news that it was malignant, we didn't know

what was to come. It was a rare type of tumor,

rare in children, and rare where it was, which was

in her leg.

And the feelings that I had were it was kind

of like in order. I would get scared, and then

I would get sad about what was going on, and

then all those emotions bottled up till they got really

big and like they made me really angry.

I would let her have her feelings. I thought it

was important for her to feel her feelings, and I

understood why she was feeling that way. But when she

was angrier, for when she was angry for longer periods

of time, that's when I started getting nervous because I

couldn't redirect her thoughts. It was it was scary That's

why I thought it was really important to get some

somebody that she could talk to and be able to

release those feelings that she was feeling or just give

her like techniques. So I got introduced to the counseling.

So I started off at a service when Pastor Delores

mentioned that they had counseling services here at Patriarch, and

I went online and I saw the you know, the

counseling services, and I made a phone call.

I just felt a lot more relaxed after I would

go to counseling, like I was able to get that

stuff out and it helped a lot because I was

able to talk about it and like try some coping

methods like how to like take control of deep greats

and how you can always pray.

In January of this year, my daughter had a tumor

removed from her left leg. I have no words. I

just have like this immense feeling of gratitude.

I would recommend counseling. I felt a lot better after

because I just got to talk about it and not

feel like a all the time, because I got to

do stuff while I was talking. I felt like that

helped a lot because I wasn't just focusing on that

I could be focusing on something else like drawing while talking.

At the same time, I was able to get my

daughter back, able to get her laugh back, her smile back,

and really she helped us hold on to hope.

This is only the beginning.

Our counseling Center will help us love our church family

across all our campuses with greater reach and deeper care.

We're building restoration, We're building futures. We're building lives, one

story at a time as we serve Christ and go

beyond together. Thank you for believing in this vision. Thank

you for your commitments to the Beyond campaign. Our counseling

Center will open officially at the top of next year.

And remember, we're not just building walls, We're building lives.

Amen.

You know there's when I first saw that video I

got this week, I got really emotional. And I didn't

get emotional just because the story is beautiful, which it is,

but also that's one story of over five hundred stories

that happened in twelve months. That's what I was thinking

in my head, that, my goodness, Lord, that this is

one child and mother's story about your goodness and your mercy.

But there are four hundred and ninety nine other people

this year who have experienced God's grace in their life

through care and counseling. And I thank you so much

for your generosity because as a church, between our Generosity Center,

which is our food bank, and our counseling center, that

alone costs millions of dollars to operate. And there are

a lot of churches that that's not their priority, and

that's okay, that's okay on them, that's not an admonishment

on them.

But for us, it is something.

That we will always have as a church. And given

that that's an investment, that's an investment that we will

happily make. We will happily put food on people's tables,

on behalf of Jesus, and will happily walk through people

some of their darkest times that they will ever face.

And truly, it's because of your generosity that we're able

to do that. I think about how good God is

when we live a generous life. Just a few months ago,

if you were here recently, we had shared that there

had been a lot of persecution and continues to be

persecution in Nigeria towards Christians. Well, we have a missionary

that's on the south side of Nigeria. This persecution has

been happening on the north side of Nigerian and so

we reached out to our missionary, Pastor Friday, and we said,

Pastor Friday, do you have any plans of any ministry work,

anything to be there to encourage the church. And he said, yes, absolutely,

for every church that they've burnt down, we're trying to

plant churches. He said in December, the first week of December,

we have planned a crusade where we're going to go

to the region that's the most dangerous and we're going

to preach the gospel.

And we said, man, that's fantastic.

What do you need to do that? He said, well,

to be honest, our trucks are old. We got to

travel a long way.

None of our.

Vehicles would be able to get the distance to where

we need to go. So we really need a truck,

a truck that will carry our equipment all that stuff.

And we said, well, how much would that be He

said his thirty thousand dollars. Well, that honestly was a

surprised expense for us. That's not something we just sat

in our budget or anything like that. And so, but

we felt compelled as a leadership team that this is

what we have to do. We have to support our

brothers and sisters. And so at the time we knew

readily available, we had fifteen thousand dollars, and so we

reached out to another church, Victory Church in Atlanta, and

we said, hey, would you guys be willing to split

the cost with us for this truck? They said absolutely.

And so that same week, before we had even announced

to our church, before we had even made the commitment,

I sat with our executive team and they said, Hey,

so our trucks that we use to pick up and

deliver food for our Generosity Center, they're broken and we

need a new truck. I said, how much is a

new truck gonna cost? They said thirty thousand dollars. I said,

oh no, I said, well, we're gonna We're gonna have

to make do. We're gonna have to deal with what

we got to do in the meantime. Because we made

a commitment of fifteen thousand dollars, it would have been

easier to buy that truck had we not made in

our heart. Nothing had gone public yet, but we made

a decision in our heart that that's what we were

going to do. And so we said, we just need

a trust that God's got us for the Generosity truck,

but we need to do this for Pastor Friday.

God has told us.

We need to be obedient. And so then what happened

was is we shared with our church. Thirty days later,

I'm scrolling on TikTok and apparently I stop and I

see a hashtag Rancho Cucamonga. I thought, oh, they're talking

about my city. Let me see, and it's the general

manager and one of the executives from a restaurant called

Foot to Chow just open here in Rancho, And in

it he said, you know, every time we open a restaurant,

as part of our opening, we always commit ten percent

of our first week's profits to a.

Local food bank.

And in the video he's talking about it and he said,

we did much research, much looking into and he said

also in the history of Fogo to Chow, this was

the highest grossing week we have ever had for the

opening of a restaurant. And then at that time the

GM turns around and they say, and so we'd like

to present a check to a church called Patriot Church who.

Has a food bank. He goes thirty thousand.

Dollars twenty nundand pounds that thousand dollars to the Generosity Center.

That's how good God is, That's how faithful the Lord is.

That that's how generous God is that something like this

would be supplied in the middle of us praying for

this amount for a truck for our Generosity Center. Like,

I just think of myself that the scriptures talk about

God's ability to give a double portion in areas, and

I just think what happens in when God prompts us

and we just stick to what the Lord says. I

was thinking to myself, Lord, would you bring a member

who needs a higher tax ride off? Would you maybe

bring someone who came into you know, sold their home.

And here God is like, oh no, no, no, no, no no,

I got a.

Whole restaurant lined up that I'm gonna send people to

that week to eat and I'm gonna give them the

best week of their life.

And then.

The GMS and all the people who do not live

in ranch or are gonna go online type in food

banks and Patria is multiple times going to be in

the top ten when it comes.

To food banks and I just see all the things at.

Play that the Lord does to establish everything that we need.

God regularly shows that he's faithful. He's faithful.

When we act like hoarders, then we get a hoarder's

response and we get a hoarder's blessed. But when we

live generously, the Bible says in the Book of Psalms

that the world of the generous gets larger and larger.

That's just a biblical principle that God has for us.

And so I want to thank you for continually through

your generosity that we can do counseling. But also it's

through you serving in the local church that others in

the community they know of all of us, not any

particular person. They know about the church called Patria, who

believes in family and believes in loving people.

Wherever they are at. It's incredible what God does.

I want to share a really quick thought about with you,

called revival has a cost. Where have been in a

series called Seeds of Revival, And as I look at

the scriptures, I see that revival has a cost. And

more than a financial cost, that's not really what I'm

talking about to say, it's a cost at which Jesus

led by. It's a cost that Jesus was willing to

step into first. You see Luke, chapter fourteen, verse twenty eight,

Jesus says, which of you wanting to build a tower

does not first down?

First, sit down and count the cost.

In this passage, Jesus is talking about the Kingdom of

God and when it comes to our faith, we need

to sit down first.

And count the cost.

I think to myself, I know people that are in

construction and who are contractors. I got friends that are

in real estate, and I've never talked to a contractor

construction worker, someone that was building a home and asked them, Oh,

what's the budget. I've never heard them say, oh, I

don't know. I'm just taking it day by day. Never

heard that before. I've never heard them say, oh, I

don't know how much that. Granted it's gonna cost. I

just want to point and I just want them to

ostall it and give me the bill later and I'll

just take care of it. I've never met someone like that,

anyone that does anything of significance, it normally comes with

first evaluating what is this going to cost me? Sometimes

we get into ourselves in troubles because maybe we'll step

into a car loan that we didn't fully count the cost,

and so at first we say, oh, I think I

have it, and then you're six months in and you're like,

you know what, I'm starting to realize I don't have

it because maybe we didn't fully count the cost. And

that's what Jesus is talking about. He's saying, don't call

yourself a follower of Jesus. Don't step into the Kingdom

of God and not first evaluate what is my obedience

life gonna look like when it comes to following Jesus.

We got to count that cost.

Why Because Jesus paid the ultimate price for you and I.

Jesus counted the cost.

Jesus knew that coming down to this earth for you

and I would come at the price of his life.

That was a cost that was counted. That is not

something that happened accidentally. That is something that Jesus did

on purpose. Hebrews chapter twelve, verse two says for the

joy set before him, Jesus found it a joyful expression

to endure the cross for us, the most.

Beautiful, the most brutal form of punishment. God in heaven

looked at this and said, it will be a joy

to pay the price for my people.

Man, that's hard to even consider that God went to

the cross joyfully, But when he knew that it was

going to redeem you and I and bring us into

perfect relationship with God, it was something that he did

joyfully because he paid the prost. You see this, if

you take notes, I want you to know. The Gospel

cost Jesus everything. The Gospel costs Jesus everything. And it's

easy to think today because.

Salvation is free. It's a free gift from God called grace.

And anyone who would call upon the name of Jesus,

anyone that would have faith in the death, burial, resurrection

of Jesus for your sins, that is free.

But it didn't come cheap.

And in the world we live in, we think free

means cheap. If we see a free sofa on the

side of the road, it's cheap. If we see a

free mirror on the side of the road, it's cheap.

If we be offered a free meal, oh it's got

to be cheap.

Corners had to be cut somewhere if something is free.

But when it comes to the Gospel, it's easy for

us to think, oh, if it's free, then I cannot

treat it. I don't have to treat it with the

care that it deserves. But because the Gospel is free

for us doesn't mean that it was something that was

easy or cheap. There's a lot of things in our

society that sometimes we may take for granted, or we

may participate in but not realize that though it's free,

it actually does cost a lot of money. I got

a list of things that you and I may participate

in that's free, but it's not cheap. Public libraries are free,

but they're not cheap. Public school education is free, but

it's not cheap. Public parks and playgrounds are free, but

it's not cheap. Emergency services may be free, but it's

not cheap.

Roads and highways. When you get on the freeway, it

may be free to get on and off, but it's

not cheap.

You may think to yourself, well, my taxes pay for

my freeways, but someone from Nevada can come and drive

on your freeway and their taxes didn't pay for that,

so it's still free. Our taxes may have paid for

some of these things, but people that come from other

areas they get to participate.

In those things.

Someone can drive in or fly in from China, get

a car, drive to Beverly Hills and play on the

park in Beverly Hills, and no one's gonna come and say, please,

we gotta make sure that your address fits inside Beverly Hills.

It doesn't because when it's public.

It's free. But it doesn't mean that any of those

things are cheap.

Half the time we're sending traffic because they're cleaning the

freeway up.

Fixing something, and it's getting paid for. Someone's paying for it.

But just because someone's taxes didn't contribute doesn't mean they

can't participate. And that's what church looks like. It's a

free thing that we can all take a part of.

It's something that we can all come and doesn't matter

what you've given, what you haven't given. It doesn't matter

whether you follow Jesus yet or don't follow Jesus.

Everyone can participate.

But it does cost somebody something and it doesn't come cheap.

It may be free, but it doesn't come cheap. But

that's about the goodness and mercy of God. It's just

a mere expression of what Jesus did for you and

I he made salvation free and available, but at the

cost of his life. It's free to us because it

was fully paid for by Jesus. The reason why you

and I can be redeemed by Jesus today without any

cost is because he fully paid it.

He fully paid the price.

Isaiah fifty three to five says, but he, speaking of

Jesus prophetically, was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins,

beaten so we could be whole.

He was whipped so we could be healed.

That doesn't look cheap to me, doesn't sound cheap to me.

But salvation is still free, but it costs something. One

Peter three eighteen says Christ suffered once for sins that

he might bring us closer to God. Jesus didn't have

to continually suffer. The one time Jesus suffered for you

and I, it was so that you and I could

be brought closer to Jesus. If Jesus gave everything for us,

revival begins when we choose to give everything back to him.

So when we say God, my life is not my own,

it's yours. I'm willing to follow you, I'm willing to

walk with you. I'm willing to be with you every day.

The cross is not the only place where salvation was purchased.

It is the place where revival was born. Here's another

thing that though it may be available to all of us,

it came at a price.

The Word of God came at a price.

The Bibles that you and I have access to, the

Bibles that you and I have made available to you

and I. Psalms one nineteen, verse one oh five says,

your word is a lamp to my feet and a

light to my path. You see you and I, specifically,

if you have an English Bible in your hands, or

even a Spanish Bible. The fact that we have this

today and you have access to read it means someone

paid a price so that you and I can read this.

Here's what I mean by that. For the first over

thousand years of Christianity, what happened was is the Bibles

were only written in Latin, and at the time the

printing press hadn't been invented, and so they were all

written by hand, the entire Bibles. But what happened was

is the Catholic Church at the time they had made

it illegal to be able to copy a Bible in

any other language other than Latin, and the only individuals

who were able to read the Bible only could be priests.

And here's why, because from their teachings, they would open

up the Bible and they would manipulate people and they

would say the Bible said as X, Y and Z,

and it didn't say that, but people would believe it

because they couldn't read it for themselves. And so in

the fifteen hundreds a man by the name of William

Tyndale said, I don't think this is fair. I think

people should be able to read the Bible in their

own language. And so he himself was a priest himself,

and so he said, here's what I'm gonna do.

I'm gonna translate the Bible.

And you know, the first language that was translated from Latin,

it was to English.

So first Bible that was translated.

And what happened was is the printing press was invented

because when William Tyndale translated to English, people said, as

many people as possible need to have access to read

this in their own language, so that they can discover

their purpose, so they can discover a.

God that loves us, but also so that they could

not be manipulated from God's word.

The printing press was invented so that you and I

could have access to Bibles.

It wasn't so that you and I could.

Have access to Aristotle or Plato or any of the

other great works and great books exist. It's not so

that we could read Harry Potter or Narnia or anything

like that, or that love story book that you love

so much, or the Notebook or anything else. The printing

press was invented so you and I could hold this.

And William Tindell was put to death for translating the

Bible into English. They killed him because he did something

that made something available, the Bible that you hold today,

whether it's in your U version Bible app whether you

physically hold it, or any other language, if it's any

If you hold a Bible that's any other language other

than Latin, chances are someone died so that you could

hold it.

And I'm not just talking about the early Church. It's

still happening today. Who else has died? Well, there are

Korean in Korea.

When the Bible was being translated into Korean, there was

Japanese in settlement at that time, and so japan Koreans

were killed when they translated the Bible from English to Korean.

In China, a pastor named Pastor Wang Ziming in nineteen

seventy three, This isn't five hundred years ago. In nineteen

seventy three, he would translate the Bible from a language

into Chinese, and he was put to death for doing that,

so that the Chinese people had access to their own Bible.

In the same way, Liang shing Chun in nineteen fifties

was murdered because he was distributing portions of the New

Testament in Chinese. In Sudan, in two thy fifteen, a

man by the name of Yakoub Gai was put to

death because he was translating the Bible into Dinka, which

is a Sudanese language. Ten years ago was killed, and

that is still happening today. You see, the Word of

God is so powerful that there are nations and peoples

that will literally kill people who hold this.

That's how powerful it is.

If you you can freely travel to Iran today, but

if you have this in your backpack, you go to jail.

You see, and you think to.

Yourself, is the Word of God really that powerful? Why

would Satan be so scared of you having access to it.

Why why would the enemy use other peoples and other

nations and other religions to get so mad about this?

Because it's effective, because there's a price that was paid

to give you and I access to this. The Word

of God says that when you read it, hear it,

or do it, that it'll never return back void. And

so the moment you start opening the Word of God

and engaging with scripture, it'll start transforming you.

Whether you realize it or not, it'll just start doing it.

You may have children or grandchildren, and they may be

to you the biggest.

Brats in the world.

You're thinking to yourself, I we don't know how to

fix these grandchildren. I don't know how to fix these children.

Just start reading the Bible out loud, and you may

be for a season.

Going I don't know what's chape.

Listen, if the Word of God begins to sit in

their heart, it does not lay dormant.

It won't be dormant it had. The Bible always has.

A return on investment when you read it, when you

let it read you, it'll start to transform your life.

Why on vision Sunday, am I making a big deal

about the Word of God because as a church, we're

always going to be preaching this thing.

We're always gonna open this, We're gonna.

Live our life according to scriptures, and we're gonna encourage

every person that comes to Patriot to read this for themselves, discover.

Who God is in the Word of God.

And everything that we want to do as a church,

whether we go to a new city, whether we go

to a new place, it is for these two reasons

to make the price that Jesus paid available to everyone

and to make sure that the Word of God transforms

their lives. You see, salvation will save your soul, but

the world Word of God will renew your mind. And

so if you and I receive salvation, that's free. But

the Word of God, according to Romans, as you read it,

it'll transform your thinking. And so where Jesus saves the

soul and redeems the hearts, the Word of God is

going to.

Change your mind.

And we need both that as we encounter Jesus and

not everyone has been taught this. Not everyone has access

to this, and we as a church want to be

able to teach this to as many people as possible.

That's why we do what we do.

You see if Romans chapter ten, verse seventeen says faith

comes by hearing and hearing by the word of Christ.

As you and I discover the Word of God over

our life, it'll change us and it'll radically redeem us. Last,

before I go and share some campus updates, is the

early Church paid the cost of revival. The early Church

where all almost all of them were martyrs. Very few

of them died of old age. Most of the disciples

were put to death because they were sharing about the

faith and hope that's found in Jesus. You see the

fact that you and I can worship today. There is

a graveyard under us of people who have given their

life so that you and I could be here today.

And there are also people that you may know, grandmothers

and grandfathers who have lived their life.

So that you and I can discover Jesus.

They poured their life in prayer closets so that you

and I could be here today. You may say to yourself,

my grandma and grandpa weren't Christians, they didn't love Jesus.

Trust me, I know grandma and grandparents they're not only

praying for their grandchildren they're praying for everybody else's grandchildren's

at the same time. So the fact that we're here

today is a product of somebody's prayers. Whether you know

a Christian or not, someone was praying for you. And

when you entered the Kingdom of Heaven through faith in Jesus,

not only did Heaven celebrate, We've all celebrated that God has.

Been good in your life. That's what it means.

And so as we go in a place where we

can walk in revival, here's some things that revival requires,

some little it's a simplified version of ingredients that if

you and I want to continually walk in a place

where God is reviving and renewing our heart, here's some

things we can do. Number one is we can live

a life of prayer. Get good at spending some time

with God. Even five minutes a day use a good start.

You don't have to start thirty minutes or an hour.

The second thing is live a life of obedience. Listen

to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. When God speaks

to you, be obedient to God's words in your life.

Number three, Unity in a world full of anger, a world.

Full of division, live a life of unity, Live a

life that's gospeled centered.

Live a life of courage.

There will come a day and age, and for many

of you you may be living in it already where

you've got to be courageous for your faith.

That there will be a time where.

You will be trying to shut out or shut down

for following Jesus.

But live courageously, live generously.

The early Church said that they had all things in common,

even when it came to their generosity, that they took

care of those that were in need. And then, lastly,

live a life of sacrifice. We have to carry our

cross like Jesus called us to do. And here's the

beautiful thing. Our church is living in a space of

revival here at Patria. And I know revival is often

thrown around pretty easily at times that if a good

worship moment ham in, someone may walk away and.

Be like, oh, I think we're living in revival.

But when we look at what God is doing in Patria,

there's no denying that there's been a fresh move of

the spirit over the past couple years. And I want

to share with you just some things on why that is.

This year we had some of the highest recorded salvations.

Within twenty twenty five, we had six thousand and seventy

six recorded people respond.

To the Gospel give their life to Jesus.

Just imagine that that be a hospital in a delivering room.

I don't know how many birds that an average hospital

deals with a year, but our church here at Patria,

across three campuses saw six thousand people give their lives

and birth into the Kingdom of God. That absolutely incredible,

believe it or not. Every single year we have had

baptisms increase and grow, and I thought to myself, maybe

there's a side of me that had big vision, but

there was a side of me like, maybe.

We won't exceed.

We've had like three years, four years back to back

of more people being baptized. I'm like, just naturally, you

think at some point you got to reach a cap.

But then terms to come to find out this year

we had our highest recorded baptisms in the history of

our church. In one year, nine hundred and twenty one

people got baptized across our campuses. For a second, I thought, man,

we were you know whatever, that is eighty short of

two thousand. I thought to myself when it was raining

this week that I'd just go to the mall and

just you know, tap people's heads to get to two thousand,

but I thought, no, no, no, Well we'll keep it

at one, nine hundred and twenty one. Our church this

past year grew by seventeen percent, with an average weekly

attending it's of six thousand, one hundred and twenty five people.

We had the highest recorded Easter we've ever had as

a church, with over sixteen thousand people come for Easter

weekend sixteen thousand.

Four hundred and twenty six people.

We had one of the highest Christmases because our calendar

year since for Vision Sunday, it goes from November to

October thirty first, so basically November to October November first,

and so we also had one of the highest Christmases

we've ever had with over ten thousand people attend on

Christmas weekend. You may say, why do those numbers matter, Well,

it matters because these are individuals who are hungry for God.

You see, when a number increases, it's not just about going, oh,

look at that size, It's about look at the individuals

who are hungry for the things of God. But also

look at our church patriot, who's inviting people, being an

example of the Gospel so that people can discover their purpose.

This doesn't happen because worship is good or a message

is good. This happens because the Spirit of God is

alive and active. And the only person who gets glory

for these things is God. It's only God who deserves

the credit. It's only Jesus who deserves the glory because

these things are only a move of God. It's only

because God has moved, and we pray he continues to

move in our church. Here's some things about our Kids

and Youth Ministry. Our Kids Ministry had one thousand, five

hundred and forty nine first time visits into the Kids ministry.

Total check ins for the year thirty eight thousand kid

check ins in twelve months. You may say to here,

so thirty thousand check ins, what does that represent? I

want you to put it this way. I see my son,

I travel.

A little bit.

So let's just say though I see my sons, I

have two sons. There's three hundred and sixty five days

out of the year. Let's just theoretically say that I

do a check in with my children three hundred and

sixty five days a year. That was thirty eight thousand

kids that were checked in with that, I only see

my children a percentage of the amount of impact that

our Kids Ministry can potentially have to all of these children.

And so would you do me for a second, can

you just give a handclap for all our Patriot Kids

volunteers that love our children. Every single week, my sons

go to school here and this morning, my youngest he

doesn't know what day of the week it is, and

so he said, are we going to the church?

I said yes. He said, am I going to school?

Or am I going to kids church?

And normally when I say school he fights us and

all that kid because it's a long day.

And I said, no, you got children's church. He said yes.

That's what I love is that when my son, who's

here five days a week for school, is still excited

to go to Patriot Kids. That's how you know we

have a great team at all of our campuses that God.

Is moving on top of that.

At our Patriot Youth, our Youth ministry, we have these

Jesus clubs that meet at kids high schools and right

now they're averaging one thousand and one hundred and eight

students a week at high schools where they're preaching the Gospel,

and it's eleven percent growth from the previous year. I

want to tell you how important the high schools are

for us because there are students that their parents would

never take them to church. They would never let them

go to church because maybe they're part of a religion,

maybe their parents are atheists or anything else. And so

literally in our high schools, we have children that are

in atheistic homes, Muslim homes, Hindu homes, Buddhist homes, and

they're saying, this is the only church I could ever

have because my family would never let me go to church.

For us, we take the church to them.

That's why Jesus Club is so important for us on

helping students wherever they are in life.

I want to share a couple also, Oh, let me share.

This is what you may not know, but we actually

have a shower trailer where we go out into cities

and we offer freeh showers to the homeless. And so

we got this beautiful shower trailer. Yeah, a few years ago,

one of our Vision Sundays completely funded our mobile shower trailer,

and so this past year we had just in our

Generosity Center, four hundred and ninety six volunteers give time

at our Generosity Center. On top of that, we had

twenty two mobile shower outreaches where they brought showers to.

People where they were at in their community. They spend

the whole day.

And they get shampoo and conditioner and it's a warm

shower and towels and all that stuff like that, and

it's absolutely beautiful. This year, when the fires had happened

in La our mobile shower trailers were mobilized to churches

that were in that region, and as people were there

sleeping in gyms and cafeterias, we had put our showers

out there and people were able to get a warm shower.

And that's really all of this is because of your generosity.

No government comes and says, hey, can we help you

with that or anything like that. We do it because

our church tie not just gives offerings, but you give

regularly so that we could do things like that. I

want to share a campus update. You know, last year

we had announced a new campus called Alameda that launched

thirty days after Vision Sunday. The Alameda campus is going

so well that they're on Easter they have to go

to a third service up there. It's been growing astronomically.

If you don't know where Alameda is, it's the city

next to Oakland. And so we started a new campus there.

We merged with the church that pre existed. Pastor Fuego

and Tiffany are incredible pastors and leaders, and so we

announced that this past year, some of our beyond has

gone towards renovating that church in space.

And it's grown and it's growing rapidly.

I want to say thank you so much for sewing

into that region because people have gotten saved, healed and

met Jesus through that campus. And so it's because of

all of our campus generosity that we can do things

like that. And so we also at the time last

year announced a Corona campus and individuals just say, when

are we going to launch that?

Well, here, here's the thing.

It's been so hard to find a place to meet

in Corona.

It's been difficult.

It's either been too small or just exorbitly expensive. One

that was just, hey, we're good stewards of finances, we

could not invest this into this space or whatever else

that it is. And so I had really hoped that

on this vision Sunday, I would say, hey, on January first,

you know, we're launching Corona and here's the building and

stuff like that. And unfortunately that's not the announcement that

on January first, we're launching Corona and meeting. But I

do have a campus update when it comes to Corona,

and so I want you to check this out.

Hey, what's up family?

Here I am on the corner of Magnolian Grant right

off of the fifteen and the ninety one. Like I said,

I know, we were really hoping and excited to be

able to open something by January first. It's been so

difficult to police and find a place to meet, for

us to have church and all that stuff. But turns

out we really haven't said anything because we have been

working on buying this building that's exactly behind me.

And we have opened up escro. These keys that I

hold in my hand will be ours.

In twenty one days, we will have the keys to

this building here in Corona, California. We are expected to

open this building on Easter of two thousand and twenty six.

Let's celebrate all that God has done. We are excited

about what God is doing. Here's the thing about this building.

It's going to need some TLC, but we have been

absolutely blessed with what we've been able to receive. This

building was listed for three point six million dollars and

we have closed at.

Two point four million dollars, come.

Under contract to start ESCRO and so it's been absolutely

incredible what God has done with this space. We're excited

to get in and basically from now until Easter, we're

going to start phase one of renovations here in Corona.

We expect that the total budget for renovations will be

one million dollars. We'll immediately start getting the sanctuary ready,

bathroom's ready, kid's face ready, and we're going to see

all that God does. Here's why we do this because

more people need to hear the message of Jesus Christ.

More people need to be healed and restored and brought

closer to a relationship with God through Jesus and so

Patriot Family, we are going to be opening our Corona campus.

We are so excited about what God is doing here

in the city of Corona.

Here's the thing.

What's this, however, our Corona campus keys? Why would I

have a second pair of keys?

Oh?

That's right, because this weekend we're launching two new campuses

Corona on Easter, and we actually are launching a campus

in January of twenty and twenty six. I want to

show you where that's gonna be. Let's check that out.

Hey, what's up, family, Well, if you haven't.

Guessed it yet, I'm so excited to announce to you

and share with you that coming up in January of

twenty and twenty six, we are launching Patria.

Newport Beach, California.

I'm assuming y'all are clapping right now, but we are

so excited that this year we're launching two campuses. Corona

Campus is gonna be launching on Easter of twenty and

twenty six, but also Patria Newport Beach is gonna be

launching January fifteenth of two thousand and twenty six. This

campus and building is two miles away from John Wayne Airport.

It's off of Irvine Abbaeknew that leads straight onto the beach,

three miles away from us here in Newport Beach.

And I want to show you the building. So let's

take a look around.

I just took a break, okay, and now it's back

to a word want job. You know, way does he only

pay work? I'mon off his way to they put me

in its reo people as it heaven on this earth

to me is now way it occurred to me to

gona burn like third degree. If you know your hers

three Jesus paid that person to me, and he took

that curse to me. If you think that's persrey, well

you better learn to reach a.

We're starting first on Thursday nights, every Thursday night at

seven o'clock for the next twelve months, and then we're

gonna be prayerfully going into Sundays starting the top of

twenty twenty seven. But as God has moved and breathed

in this thing, you may be saying.

To yourself, I had no idea that we were gonna

go somewhere like Newport Beach. To be honest, neither did we.

And I'll be excited over the next weeks to share

with you more about the God story, about how God

has called us to this region. And really it's only

been by the divine hand of God that has brought

us here. And we believed that we're going to reach

the people of Orange County.

We believe that we're going to partner with the.

Churches in the region to make an impact for Jesus Christ.

We have your see, I'm in a space. We have

a leased space that we have here as a church building.

It's incredible.

We're also going to be starting some renovations here, some flooring,

some things in the sanctuary all across the campus as well.

But we're so excited to have a meeting place here.

So really, as you've seen, we got two keys that

we're sharing about, one in Corona and one in new

Court Beach. And so I want to encourage you if

you're interested to be part of this campus, maybe you

know family or friends in Orange County, you can go

in the courtyard today, specifically at a Rancho campus. You

can sign up to be part of the launch team.

You can show up to one of our new interest meetings.

Or you may know family that is in the Orange

County region. You can start letting them know that in

January of twenty twenty six, Patria will be in the

region and start getting the.

Word at because we are excited.

About what God is doing here in this region of

Orange County.

Are we excited about what God We've been.

Doing here at Patrio? Praise God? Man, It's an exciting work.

Only God can do it. You know, if something only

God can do, it's nothing that we have an expectation

for or even had decided it wasn't in our radar.

But just short and then we'll show some pictures and

may just the year, I was sitting with some one

of my big brothers, Javin Chabez, who's in Vegas.

We went to dinner.

He pastors in Nevada, and he said at the dinner table,

he looked across from me, he said, Adam, God has

a word for you, and this person is one of

the only people in my life life that I would

take it for point blank anyone else, I would say,

I don't know about that. But he said, God told

me to tell you that you need to go to

Newport Beach and I said no, I said, no, not me,

not us, that's not us.

Have you been to Newport Beach before?

I was like, no, I don't think that that's something

God would want us to do right now Los Angeles

or here or there or whatever. And he said no,

the Lord said that he's gonna He's gonna meet your

needs what you need to do there. And he said,

on top of that, the Lord told me, for the

first twelve months, you and Ashley have to pastor it.

And I said, I, what does that even mean? Jaben,

like that's Sundays.

He said no, no, no, it's a midweek and you're

gonna open up a door for a midweek and you

guys are gonna pass over twelve months and then after

a year, you're gonna go to Sundays. And I said,

I don't know about that. That night I told Ashley

about it, and Ashley I was expecting her to say, hey,

we're busy, we got two young boys, et cetera, et cetera.

She said, no, that's a word from God, it's been

stirring in my heart.

That's what we as a church have to do.

And then I thought to myself, well, real estate's not

cheap in Newport, so we'll probably be going meeting in

a coffee shop.

You know.

We'll just bring our tables around and just make sure

everybody orders lattes, and then we'll launch in that way.

And then within thirty days, when we started looking, we

came across the church and that church told us, the

Lord has told us that you guys are going to

make an impact in this region and we want you here.

And they said, we want you give the opportunity for

you to lease our building. You can do renovations in

our building, and you could do it for twenty four hundred.

Dollars a month. And so we got that entire.

Building that you solved for thursdays for twenty four hundred dollars.

I'm telling you this, a condo don't even cost twenty

four hundred dollars in Newport Beach probably don't even cost

twenty four thousand dollars, let alone that. But that just

showed that in that word that Jabon gave because I

told Javin, we haven't budgeted it that hasn't.

Been on our rate.

If God does it, he's going to have to do

a miracle, and he basically has done a miracle.

So we're thankful about what God is doing. We also

are on.

Contract already to start Sundays in twenty twenty seven, and

so that is something that we're excited.

We'll share more.

Newport will open as soon as January, and then the

team because they're going to actually have to do full

renovations in Corona, it'll be Easter. And also there's tenants

at the Corona campus and so people need to be

able to you know, move out and stuff like that

so that we.

Can go and have church.

These are just some pictures of vision that we have

of what we hope to do in Corona, of what

we hope to see and how many people we hope

to serve and fit and so we just have a

vision to meet the needs of the community, create spaces

so that people can go and have Bible study and

during the week day can come and you know, get

a coffee, read the word, have a neighborhood group or

anything like that. That would be the sanctuary during the

weekdays and the side of the sanctuary. And then we

got Newport Beach just some vision of you know, new paint,

some sanctuary remodel.

And stuff like that, and so that's what it looks

like now.

That's something we have envisioned for some of the things

that you know current church still needs and wants in

their space. And so we've just been working with them

of what we could potentially do to add new paint

and create new space for worship that works for how

we do ministry. And so we're so thankful about God's

faithfulness about what He's done.

I got a couple other things for us.

Another thing we've been praying through is that we want

to create an opportunity across our campuses that when someone

gets saved and gives their life to Jesus, we as

a church can celebrate and really walk alongside of them.

And so what we've done already is great where when

you give your life to Christ.

We have a website called ww dot Grow dot Faith

and as we are thinking about it, we thought, no,

we really want to come and walk alongside people really

immediately when they give their.

Life to Christ.

So starting the first weekend of December, we'll be doing

something a little bit new when it comes to salvations.

Is this summer, I wrote.

A small book called Following Jesus, a Family Journey, and

it's a beautiful hardcover book. It looks great. There's a

QR code to do follow up and things like that.

So starting the first weekend of December, at all our campuses,

when someone gives their life to Christ on behalf of Patriar,

we will give them this book that will walk them

through the first thirty days of their faith and their

journey in Jesus.

That they'll be able to read it.

And it talks about salvation, it talks about the road ahead,

it talks about how to grow deeper in a person's faith,

and it's meant to set them up for the first

twelve months. But they can read it really in thirty

days as forty eight pages. And so coming the first

weekend of December at all of the exits will have

these really nice stations that when someone gets saved, and

even first time visitors they can get the gift, and

then also if they got saved, they can pick up

the book as well. The reason why we wanted something

physical is because we want to encourage our family here

that when people are walking around the campus, that we make.

A big deal about a person's first decision.

And so when they're walking around with this, we want

you to walk up to them and say congratulations, welcome

to the family, encourage them. If you have a neighborhood group,

hey join my neighborhood group, or if you have a

word for them of encouragement, give it to them. We're

right now this salvation moment. It tends to be. Oh,

it's kind of private. I go on a link at this,

and that we wanted something that as a church we

can come around, we can celebrate with a person.

Hey, great decision.

Hey I'm so happy about what God is doing in

your life, and that they.

Would be encouraged by this. Here's the thing. This is

not retroactive.

So if you got saved three years ago, ten years ago,

when we really please y'all, this is not cheap. It's

about eight dollars for the book that to give as

a gift.

Including shipping and handling. It's hardcovered.

We wanted something that would last a long time in

a person's life, that they would be able to point

back to the day that they got saved.

And so you know, if you get.

Saved, if you've gotten saved, don't go grab it, okay.

It also is a way that we'll be able to

track how many people have given their life to Jesus

as well. And so if you go up there and

try to get ten for your cousin and your auntie

and you're trying to use these as Christmas stocking.

Stuffers, please please don't.

It's an investment and it's something that we're all doing

as a community. And so also I don't think Dream

Team would let you get ten, but in general they're

not going to fight you on it if you really

try to get one. But here's what we will do

if you could, is if you ever do want your

own or want to bless someone with it, is that

on that weekend, the same time in our bookstore or

out in the in our container, we will have it

if you And we're not we're not going to add any.

Charge to it whatsoever. It's just wholesale costs.

So if you ever want to get these for eight dollars,

or you want to gift it to someone in your

work that maybe they've started being open to faith. Would

you consider just going and purchasing it wholesale because this

just when we have it for free, it allows us

to know and here how many salvations have taken place.

But we also won't fight you if you want to

get it free as well. Again, everything's free, but cost something,

so cost somebody something, So just be mindful. But we're

so excited about let me as we close, if you

give me three more minutes, I just want to share

about our generosity for the year, what we've closed out

from November first of last year till today October thirty

first of this year, and so I just want to

show what our ties in offering and other expenses were.

This is important for those who consider this important, and

if you want more of the in depth version, it's

on our giving tablet. But it's important for us that

you know where you're giving goes, so that when you

leave you know. Okay, I pray that today you see

that your generosity goes into good soil, It goes into

a place that ministers to people in all areas and

regions of their life. And so this past year, our

total ties in offering again that's the regular monthly contribution

fifteen million dollars. See these numbers, but remember we have

multiple campuses, multiple mortgages, multiple everything, multiple kids ministries, multiple

generosity centers, multiple counseling centers, stuff like that. And so

restricted giving that's from beyond that's two point seven million.

That means we can only use it where it's been designated.

And so maybe someone gave towards a missions project, we

can't use that for anything else other than what's restricted.

At the same time, let's just say you ever want

your giving to go it's not our preferred method. But

if you ever want your giving strictly to go to

one thing the moment you annotate that, we have to,

according to nonprofit rules, give to that. And so if

everyone anyone ever comes up and says, I think the

church should just give to feed people, well.

You can do that.

You can designate in your giving give it only to

feed people, and we have to do that, but oftentimes

that's sometimes just an excuse on what they're processing at

the time. But if you ever want to restrict your giving,

you can do that. Though it's not preferred because we

do have other expenses. Reality is, if everybody chose where

to give, there's not too many people would choose toilet paper.

But guess what, when you need it, you're glad it's there.

And so that's where tieson offering is important. At the

same time, it also goes towards if a mom forgets

her diapers and kids we have diapers.

All your giving goes to all those type of things.

Other income.

So we have a private school here on campus that

pays a lease back to us. We have a preschool

here on campus that we get income from. We also

have an old church property called Utica that tenants they

lease out of there and we've kept that and so

that building is worth about twenty million dollars, but they

lease the building spaces from us. So that's other income.

We're able to reinvest that fully into ministry needs and

so and so what it is is it's creative ways.

Even what we do at our coffee shop or anything else,

all of that goes straight into ministry just other versions

that we can go back into helping people. So total

income for the past twelve months was twenty two million,

five hundred and seventy thousand dollars number one. Can we

just celebrate God's faithfulness for that one time. We're so

thankful that we have a church that understands generosity. We

can't do all that we do without you and without

your generosity, and it means the world to us that

you would give. The data shows that right now in

America we're in record lows when it comes to people

giving to nonprofits.

But God has been faithful.

Here at Patria that people have continued to sew into

their local church and see that God is making an

impact on the right. You see our actual expenses where

things go to. And so you have staffing in salaries,

that's teachers and everything in between that staff, pastors, everyone

that serves on the you know, anyone that's worshiped, team, anything, counseling, care,

anyone who gets compensated is in those that's also maintenance

and custodials and all that kind of stuff like that.

We have ministry operations.

That's things that operate the ministry and so that's whether

we need chairs, tables, new vehicles to transport things, or

anything like that. Operational costs. Then you have facilities and

care that's nine million dollars. That's mortgages, gas, electricity, utilities, all.

That kind of stuff like that.

We don't get discounts for being a church on any

of those things.

And so that's all of that in total. In the facilities.

Then you have care and outreach. These are our missionaries.

This is our Generosity Center. One point three million dollars

goes out into the community into those not in our

local church, but those in.

Need out in our community.

One point three million dollars is expended towards those individuals.

And then special projects that is Beyond and so special

projects is like the Counseling and Care Center and things

like that. So you may see the total expenses is

higher than total income. That's because we're operating a line

of credit so that because of the Beyond campaign of

twelve point five million we have of what's been committed,

we have a line of credit so that we can

complete these projects, and then as people give to Beyond

and feel led to give, we just pay those line.

Of credits off.

And so that's how we're operating because we don't want

to we don't want the Counseling and Care Center at

HQ to be halfway built and then we say, well,

we can't finish it until the next twelve months. Well,

we know that people have committed, and we know that

people for the most part will fulfill their commitments, and

so we're gonna move off of that and use the

line of credits to cover it and then once it

gets there, it's paid off. And so the reason why

we share all of this and you can go and

get it online.

It's important for us, for us that.

You know what's happening in your church. This is your home,

this is where you sew, this is where you give.

And I understand only twenty percent of our church gives

at all. Eighty percent don't, but that's okay, that's okay.

It's important that those twenty percent get a report about

where they're giving has gone. And we're just thankful that

anyone would consider to give their finances to the local church.

And we know that a lot of people work really

hard for what they have and it really means a lot,

means the world that you would sew to see the

gospel spread in the community. And I pray that this weekend,

through other ways the things that we shared, you see

that this is good soil to partner with Patreon, see

that people be reached and minister too. And you may

be here today and you may say, I don't even

like looking at my own bills. This makes me feel uncomfortable. Well,

next week we are back to normal schedule programming and

we won't talk about that again until next November. Okay,

So we're thankful that all of you would be here

as we leave here today. Would you do be fair?

Would you bow your heads and close your eyes as

we pray to leave here today? God, I thank you

so much, Lord for your work. I thank you Lord

that you are moving here at our church patriar. Lord,

thank you so much for all those that call this home.

Thank you for all those that are living the gospel

of Jesus out.

May we continually be a light to our cities and

our regions and the world. Lord, I pray you continually

be faithful to every person that's watching online, every person

that's in this room. Lord, continually show yourself God. I

thank you Lord that the early church saw that the

gospel spread through generosity, and today the gospel spreads through generosity.

The gospel has already spread from Rancho to Pomona. Lord,

from Pomona to Alameda, now Alameda to Corona and Corona

to Newport. Lord, and this is not just some type

of expansion. This is kingdom work to reach people, to

show them the love and grace of Jesus Christ God.

So I pray you continually be faithful to this family, Lord,

and continually your spirit move here at patri If there's

anyone here that doesn't have a relationship with Jesus, would

you and you're ready to take a step of faith

today and trust Him as your Lord and savior, would

you say this with me?

Would you say, Dear Lord Jesus.

In this moment, I confess you as my Lord and Savior.

I believe in my heart that you died on the

cross and you rose three days later. From this day forward,

I choose to follow you for the rest of my

days in Jesus' name.
