Well, good morning to everybody. I didn't hear a good

morning back then.

Your mama used to say that, like you say, you know,

good morning, they'd say, for shift, you didn't say good.

Morning back you know?

You know?

How many of you had an amazing epic Thanksgiving?

All right?

Now you're in church, so you have to tell the truth.

How many of you overdid it in your eating on Thanksgiving?

Only three people? Bunch of liars today in.

Jesus' name, we're gonna well, let me ask you a

question today. How many of you the turkey itself is

your best dish?

How many of you look forward you love the turkey?

Okay, only a few of you, that's okay. How many

of you it's the ham? How many of you are

the ham eaters? Okay, a little bit more. How many

of you are the stuffing eaters? You just love the stuffing.

There's a lot more of that, way, I says. How

many of you are the macaroni? Cheap mac map he

all the mac hands? Raise your hand, all the mac Now,

somebody next to somebody with the hand ups say, I

can tell look at that, and tell I can tell.

I don't know about you, I really, really love nine

o'clock service.

I love it.

I think it's the best out of all of them.

I think it's the best because you guys are the loudest,

the rowdiest. Yeah, I love this service because you wait

till the end when we dismiss you, before you get

up and start leaving.

We're gonna test this today.

We're gonna we're gonna really test this whether this is

the greatest service or not. We're gonna pray and we're

gonna get in the message. And I really thank you

for investing in your faith by coming to church, because

my Bible and your Bible says in these last days,

people will not be investing in their faith through coming

to church. They will start to avoid it and think

I don't need to do church. Father, we thank you

today that we value church. On that resurrection, Oh God,

a church was immediately started with three.

And there's something that only takes place within the confines

of the church, whether that is online, or whether that

is in our courtyard or one of our rooms, or

in the building itself, where the corporate anointing, discipleship, fellowship, accountability, encouragement.

So much comes through the local church. Now, Father, we

not come to hear the lectures of the philosophies and

opinions of man.

Man can't help us.

But we're going to lead in to get ready to

hear God speak to us through the holy scriptures.

And we give you honor and glory in Jesus' name. Amen.

You know, I don't know if you were here last week.

I was literally blown away with the level of information

in how Pastor Adam shared the vision and the outlook

not only of the past year, but talked about the future.

And I was more proud of being a member of

this church, not just the legacy pastor or the father,

but truly a member where now I paid well, I

did it. We've always paid our ties, and where now

I serve as a volunteer within this church and praying

for this ministry and doing so much more investing in

the future of the next thirty beyond years of this.

And I was proud.

But I heard him say something repeatedly that I just

said I got to preach on that next week, and

he talked overly and overly and overly about how to

have a God's story, that we are living out a

God's story here in Patriot And when he talked about that,

he talked about the Corona campus, he talked about the

Newport Beach campus. He talked about how many souls were

being saved, how many people were being baptized. He talked

about the counseling center, he talked about the outreach, the

missions programs, how many people we fed, And he said,

that's a God's story that's being developed. Can we just

give the Lord a clap offering? Come on, let's give

the clap offering for our lead pastor.

Let's thank God for their leadership, Pastor Adam and Ashley.

So today I want to talk about, even though you

heard a God's story related to the church, how can

you have a God's story for your personal life? Because

this story is going to live on within the church,

But how about your story?

What is your personal God story going to look like?

What is written in the.

Pages of your God's story? How will your God's story end?

Are you you letting God write your God's story or

are you writing your God's story? With that in mind,

I'd like you to stand on your feet and I

want to read one little verse to you today that's

going to launch the message today, it says this in Psalms.

In Psalms, it says this, Let the redeem those that

have been purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ are

simply bought back, which.

Is you and I tell their story.

Those he redeemed purchased and bought back from the hand

of the foe or the enemy.

You may be seated.

Let's talk about what a God's story is, as we

define it from the get go. It's something that gives

glory and honor and praise to God. It's something that's

unexplainable that only.

God could have done.

That's a god's story. A god's story is something that

I wanted to do something, but God changed my heart

to do something different. That's what a God's story looks

like in our lives. Let me give you a quote

about a God's story, just a little quote about a

God's story. A life without a God's story is a

life without substance.

You and I. How do we prove we're a Christian?

How do we tell atheists or agnostic or unchurched people

that we are Christians? Unless there's a God's story where

God encountered my life and changed the trajectory of my

life and now I'm doing so much more better now

than I was before I found Christ. That's what a god's.

Story might look like.

You know the Annals of Motion pictures, which is like

a story or a book. There's been many, many famous

in the list is endless of actors that you and

I like and actresses that beg to be part of

a movie, either to work with the director or to

work with a starring actor in it, and they would

do whatever it took. Some got on their knees and

bagged someone pleaded with them, Someone walked across the room

at a party to introduce themselves, whether it was I

want to work with Steven Spielberg, and I'll do whatever

it takes. I'll take less money to work with Steven Spielberg.

I'll take a cameo war role. I don't need to

be the lead person. I'll do whatever it takes to

work with that person. Some famous individuals that have done

that was Timothy Charlomay and A Beautiful Boy.

Helen Merra wanted.

To work with Vin Diesel to be in Fast and Fury.

Ken Chung wanted to be in Crazy Rich Asians Back

in the day, Dustin Hoffman wanted to do whatever it

took to work with Academy Award winner Laurence Olivier, But recently.

An actress by the name.

Of Raqual Bailey wanted to be on a Tyler Perry

movie or TV. She did it enough so that she

went ahead and hired somebody to put a billboard so

that Tyler Perry, when he drove by, would see it

and hire her. How bad do you want to be

in God's story? What length will you go to be

in God's story? Will you get on your knees? Will

you embarrass yourself? Will you do something that you've never

done before? Because I want to be part of god story.

That will be the challenge for today. So today I

want to give you three points as we talk about

what does a God's story look like today? The first

one I wanted to turn over to Genesis one twenty

eight as we begin to unfold this. In Genesis one

twenty eight, I love this verse because this verse never stopped.

You could put this since your marriage and the raising

of your kids, in your life, on your job, in

everything you do, these four commands still remain eminent as

a mandate of how to live a fulfilled life. Notice

what God said, and God bless them. This is Adam

and Eve. And God said to them, this is his

will now for every one of us. Be fruitful in

every aspect of your life. God expects and he wants

you to be fruitful in every area of your life.

The second command, multiply.

I want you to bring increase to everything that you

are fruitful in. Third thing, replenish, rebuild the damage areas

of your life. And then number four subdue, take authority

over the enemy, and don't let the enemy steal your fruit.

I love those four challenging words because that's going to

be what we want to talk about today. That God's

stories happen because you and I will solve problems. You

and I will never have a God's story if we

don't solve problems. And that's what He commissioned Adam and

Eve to do. Solve problems. Solve the problems of being

fruitful when there's no fruit. Solve the problems are multiplied

when things are diminishing. Solve the problem of replenishing when

everything is being taken away and depleted. Solve the problem

of subduing when the enemy is still and killing, and destroying.

Don't let it happen.

If you and I want to have a God's story,

then you and I have to solve problems rather than

avoiding them. Most people avoid problems. Most people hide from problems.

Most people that I know run from problems. Most people

I know ignore problems. Most people I know excuse problems.

But you were created by God to solve a problem.

Neamyah's purpose will solve a wall problem. Noah's said, are

you going to solve a flood problem?

Joseph solve a famine problem?

Esther solve a genesis a genocide problem. Some good Samaritan

solve a problem of somebody who's fallen among thieves.

You were created to solve a problem.

Now that blows us away because we want to avoid problems.

God does not give us perfection, So stop looking for perfection. Well, ill, no,

it's the will of God. If it's perfect, where did

you get that from? Well, I want a perfect boyfriend,

I want a perfect wife, I want a perfect husband.

I want perfect children, I want perfect grandchildren. I want

a perfect church. Then go to heaven because there's no

purpose for you. There's no purpose for you.

What are you doing? You're supposed to.

Represent God, and to represent God is the fact that

you have to solve a problem.

This is a fallen world with problems.

God put you here and save you to say, go

be my life and solve the world's problems to my glory.

We want perfect mates, perfect children, perfect job. I'm leaving

this job. Why because of this? I'm leaving this neighborhood

because of this?

What is that?

What do you want to live in a Christian commune?

I love Christian I don't want to be around you

all day long. You and I are here to solve

a problem. Let me give you, Let me give you this,

just this little quote along the line. We like finished

products rather than the projects. And I'm not talking about

neighborhoods and went over your head anyways, moving right along

They don't get it.

You're born and raised in South Central you caught that

right away. We want we want to finish for Listen,

It's this is a finished product, but it's not a

finished project. And we have to have a little bit

of tough skin to understand this. When we go through

difficulties in our marriage, when we go through difficulty amongst

our brothers and sisters and the Lord, when we go

through difficulties amongst our kids, we want to kick them

to the curb. We want to bandit it, we want

to say it's not.

The will of God.

And I'm not talking about overly abusive stuff that you

have to tolerate, but we just seem to abandon everything

that quickly.

Solve a problem, and you'll have a God's story in

your life.

This is what the Bible says. How God will help

you to solve a problem. Philippians four thirteen. You can

do all things through Christ has strengthened you. He's going

to give you a strength, James, if anyone lack wisdom,

you'll get God's wisdom. Romans five' five the love Of,

God you'll Have god's. Love john fourteen twenty. Six to my,

PIECE i give You god's. Peace he'll give you near

my eight ten the joy of The. Lord god will

give you his. Joy In hebrews thirteen to. FIVE i

will never leave you as. Freaks he'll give you his.

Presence now tell me how you cannot solve a problem

When god gives you, strength, wisdom, love, peace joy in his.

Presence tell me how you can't do. It you, know,

In my relationship with my wife and the realm of,

INTIMACY i remember her making this statement to me that

the only time you aren't kind to me or nice

to me is when it's sugar.

Were then why are you clumping me with all the

bad men the relationships in your. Life they may have

only been kind to you when it was love making,

day but that's not. Me i'd never heard that. AGAIN

i only heard it once early in our. Marriage but,

see it would have been easy for me to SAY

i wanted to marry a perfect, woman a perfect, wife

and she's so far from being. Perfect i'm not here

to solve someone else's. Problems, no BUT i. Didn't this

is my marriage AND i loved, her SO i was

willing to solve that.

Problem and today we have A god's.

solve a. Problem don't run from a, problem run to

Lazy the lazy people are not people that don't have a,

desire that don't have a. Will lazy people have a

a great, family they want to clean, yard whatever. Is

Desire but the reality is is their laziness gets the

keep self sabotaging our.

many of us are self sabotaging our, lives and that's

why we can never really have A god's story in our.

Lives we are self sabotaging our lives with fear and

doubt and unbelieve and negativity and victim, mentality and where

self tabotaging our lives with excuses and. Avoidance and here's

a big one that's self sabotage in our lives. Procrastination

Life diego is a, perfectionist and being a, perfectionist you

will self sabotage your life because it's never ever good.

That extreme non management of thoughts and emotions can self

sabotage overwhelming, shame, guilt and condemnation in your, life grief

and sorrow that's been prolonged in your, life, disappointments insecurities

and inadequacies that you're never gonna measure, up that you're

never ever good. Enough SO i can't own. THAT i

can't buy. THAT i can't be, REMARRIED i can't do.

THAT i can't be forgiven for What i've. Done your

self sabotaging your, life and so because of, That god's

Lovely cindy was the fact that this was before she

was saying.

WHEN i would meet.

Her she was living with a guy for six years.

Now we all three worked at the hospital. Together SO

i saw him who he, was and in my mind

he was six foot, something perfect, skin a, model and

he was gorgeous to look. At you can, Laugh but

there's a lot of men that have my struggle right

now of insecurity right? Now why would she choose me over?

That AND i would have nightmares and dreams that.

She would leave me to go back with her. Ex

she never put that on. Me it was the enemy

speaking to my, inadequacies my insecurities as a man that

doesn't think THAT i can deserve someone like, that so

he puts himself down by elevating somebody. Else and are

a lot of people are like. That.

MAN i just want to give you a. Compliment that was. Good,

ah that don, Nothing and there's the whole old. Thing

oh you got a.

Problem your lights are, flashing, dude check accept the. Compliment

you make a good macaronian. Cheese what's the big? Deal

you shut. Up you're self sabotaging your.

Life and there's so many of us that do that

Time And it's time for us to remove the limitations

and restrictions and barriers That god did not put on.

Us and you AND i need to stop undermining What

god wants to do through the self sabotaging talk that

comes out of our, mouths words LIKE i, Can't i'm

not good, ENOUGH i don't do that will never, Happen

i'm too.

Blank we do it all the. Time take the caution

tape off of your, Life take the temporary license place

that you've had for five.

Years take the handicapped sticker off your car.

That god healed you five years.

Ago take the sell of fame plastic off that thing

that you've had for ten years.

BECAUSE i want it to get.

Dirty stop living out of the. Suitcase you've been dating

the same person for fifteen, years living together for ten,

years have three, kids.

And bought a house. Together isn't it time to get?

said you've been working here five. Years i'm just like.

That you've been working here five, years ten, years and fifteen,

years and nobody knows you're A.

Integrity who do you need to patch you on the?

Back who do you need to be accepted? By whose

approval do you need that will reflect the integrity in

which you live? By WHEN i was growing, up And

call you a bull.
