  1. Joshua chapter 1, 1 through 9.

    Joshua 1 chapter mention

  2. After the death of Moses, the servant of the Lord, the Lord said to Joshua, the son of Nun, Moses' assistant, Moses, my servant, is dead.

  3. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, into the land that I am giving to them, to the people of Israel.

  4. Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon, I have given to you, just as I promised to Moses.

  5. From the wilderness and this Lebanon, as far as the great river, the river Euphrates, all the lands of the Hittites to the Great Sea, towards the going down of the sun, shall be your territory.

  6. No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life.

  7. Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you.

  8. I will not leave you or forsake you.

  9. Be strong and courageous, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land I swore to their fathers to give them.

  10. Only be strong and very courageous.

  11. Now pause right there.

  12. God spoke it back to back.

  13. That lets you know it was important, and Joshua really needed it.

  14. Okay?

  15. You still with me?

  16. Only be strong and very courageous.

  17. Be careful.

  18. Watch this now.

  19. Be careful to do according to all that the law of Moses, my servant, commanded you.

  20. Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go.

  21. Two more verses.

  22. This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it.

  23. For then I will make you then I will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

  24. Last verse have I not commanded you.

  25. Have I not commanded you?

  26. Be strong and courageous, do not be frightened and do not be dismayed.

  27. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

  28. As you're seated, I want you to look at somebody and say, You're meant to be a good success.

  29. Go ahead.

  30. Look at your other neighbor and say, You're supposed to be a good success as well.

  31. Good success, good success.

  32. Let me tell you something this morning.

  33. It is my core belief that God wants you and I to be a good success.

  34. You are not called to be a failure.

  35. Let me say it one more time on this side of the room.

  36. Is that all right?

  37. You are not called to be a failure.

  38. God has called you to be a good success.

  39. You are not a loser.

  40. I'm telling you right now, if if you read the Bible, the Lord looks at his people and he wants you to be successful.

  41. And not just any kind of successful, he wants you to be a good success.

  42. Amen.

  43. And let me let me just debunk some things.

  44. I know a lot of times, especially in American Christianity, we think that success is all about money.

  45. It's not all about money.

  46. That's a portion of it, but you God wants you to be a success in your marriage, God wants you to be a success in your business, God wants you to be a success in your thought life, in your health.

  47. Come on now.

  48. He wants okay, y'all with me this morning?

  49. God wants you to be a success in all things.

  50. He has called you to that, he has ordained that for you.

  51. But here's what I know that that God knows as well.

  52. I put it like this to the first service.

  53. I'm gonna put it like this to you here in the second service.

  54. The dogs of doom stand at the door of your destiny.

  55. What does that mean, Pastor Aaron?

  56. That means that you could sit here and shout all day long, like I'm shouting all day long, that I know that God wants me to be a good success, but whenever you leave this room and you go out there, there are things that are set up in front of you to keep you out of what God has ordained for you.

  57. The dogs of doom stand at the doorway of destiny.

  58. Anytime I'm telling you, I've I've talked with so many people.

  59. Anytime I see that they're crossing over into a new season, they're leaving their yesterday behind in order to attain their tomorrow, where they believe that God is calling them up and not calling them down.

  60. They get a word from the Lord, but then what happens as they begin to walk that thing out, something happens that tries to knock them off course.

  61. And many times people think that maybe I didn't really receive something from the Lord.

  62. My friend, let me tell you this morning: if you are in a place where the dogs of doom are standing at the door of your destiny, it's not because you did something wrong, it's because you actually are in something right.

  63. Mm-hmm.

  64. Nothing that the Lord will do for you will go unchallenged by your enemy.

  65. Now, this is in my notes, but it's in my spirit, so you're gonna get a freebie this morning.

  66. And I'm gonna make sure you get out in enough time to take your mother to lunch.

  67. Can I get an amen, somebody?

  68. But but the enemy did this even to Jesus.

  69. I'm gonna get to Joshua chapter 1, 1 through 9 here in just a moment.

    Joshua 1 chapter mention

  70. Watch this now.

  71. The enemy even did this to Jesus.

  72. Jesus goes to the waters of baptism.

  73. You remember this?

  74. He comes out of the waters of baptism, the heavens are opened up, and a voice comes from out of heaven saying, Behold, my beloved son with whom I'm well pleased.

  75. I preached on this just a couple weeks ago.

  76. Remember that?

  77. If you didn't get the recording, glory be to God.

  78. Jesus is then led into the wilderness for 40 days, and when the enemy comes to tempt him, the very first thing that the enemy does to tempt him is to challenge the legitimacy of the word that he just received.

  79. There was something that the Lord legitimately gave Jesus, it was a declared word over his life.

  80. But the enemy does not do never sit back silent when God gives you something real.

  81. Why?

  82. Because if he can distract, if he can discourage, if he can cause you to live in doubt and fear and think, well, maybe it's not really for me.

  83. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

  84. But if you can rise above it and understand that the dogs of doom are standing at the doorway of your destiny, no matter what comes your way after you receive a word, if you just keep going forward, if you just receive the strength, if you just receive the courage, come on now.

  85. If you just stand on the word that the Lord declared over your life, I came here this morning to tell some people no matter what you're walking through right now, no matter what you're feeling right now, you are called to go up and not down, you are called to be above and not beneath, you are called to be the head and not the tail, you are called to be a good success.

  86. So herein lies the question what have you been meditating on more?

  87. What God has decreed or what you dread?

  88. See, because here's what happened.

  89. You receive a word from the Lord and you say, Oh man, this is good, but then you hit a speed bump.

  90. And then rather than uh to focus on what the Lord has said, you begin to focus on the uncomfortableness that you feel.

  91. Well, if God said this, why why why am I still battling the battles that I'm supposed to battle?

  92. If God told me I'm free, right, why I still have certain desires?

  93. If God told me he was gonna fix my marriage, why is it still a mess?

  94. Oh, don't get quiet.

  95. If God declared I'm supposed to be healed, why have why am I not seeing it right now?

  96. Oh my god, my God.

  97. Let me let me just help some people.

  98. Come on, can I help you in the room this morning?

  99. God said, Can I help you in the room this morning?

  100. My friend, let me let me ask you this question.

  101. What are you what are you dwelling on more?

  102. The promises of God or the uncomfortableness of what comes with the promises of God?

  103. Are you meditating on what God has decreed or what you dread?

  104. But if you think that the opp, if you think that that fear is the assignment of the enemy, you're wrong.

  105. The assignment of the enemy is to keep you ignorant to the word of God.

  106. Because if he can keep you ignorant to the word of God, he can get you in your feelings and knock you out of faith.

  107. But if if you can maintain an attitude of the word of God in your life, it doesn't matter what comes your way, you stand on the word, it doesn't matter what comes your way, you declare the word.

  108. It doesn't matter what comes your way, come on now.

  109. You meditate on the word.

  110. Let me tell you something, my friend.

  111. You have been called to be a good success.

  112. When the word is absent, fear gets the microphone.

  113. And when the word is absent, worry becomes loud.

  114. When the word is absent, your imagination starts preaching sermons that God never wrote.

  115. Here's what you is this all right?

  116. I told the first service, I'm gonna teach and preach.

  117. And then someone on the front row said, treach it.

  118. I said, I'll take it.

  119. When God delivers a word for you to cross over, new season, whatever it is, okay?

  120. What stands before you is faith.

  121. Now watch this now.

  122. You can either have faith in the word of God or you can have faith in worry.

  123. Faith in the word of God will cause you to step over and to apprehend what God has said, you can apprehend.

  124. Faith in worry then is manifest.

  125. The opposite is true.

  126. Faith and worry then manifests in fear.

  127. Fear is faith in the wrong direction.

  128. You're believing something, you're just not believing the word of the Lord.

  129. You're believing something, but you're just believing the worst case scenario rather than the best case scenario.

  130. You're believing something, but you're believing your feelings rather than believing what God has clearly declared to you and that you can apprehend by faith.

  131. Fear is faith in the wrong direction.

  132. Faith believes what God says, fear believes what worry says, faith meditates on the promise, fear meditates on the problem.

  133. Faith says, God is already in my future.

  134. Just let that sink in for a moment, okay?

  135. Because I know a lot of times whenever I'm preaching up here, I speak really fast, and sometimes you try to listen really fast, and you have to get the recording after the fact.

  136. Sometimes I listen to the recording after the fact because I said, What in the world did I preach on this morning?

  137. That's all right.

  138. Rapid out of the mouth, right?

  139. But listen what I just said right here.

  140. Faith says God is already in my future.

  141. Yes.

  142. Can I break it down a little bit?

  143. Oh, okay.

  144. You didn't know what kind of breaking down I was about to do, did you?

  145. My God.

  146. Some of y'all was leaning in for a revelation.

  147. What you got is this.

  148. Let me break it down.

  149. God's already your future.

  150. So watch this now.

  151. You've many times people think that God is in their 2026th, Mother's Day 2026, and because God's just right here, He doesn't know the end.

  152. Because you can only see in a line.

  153. Your perspective, your view is only linear.

  154. Right?

  155. And so because our view and our perspective is linear, we think that God's view and perspective is linear.

  156. But here's what you need to get deep down in your spirit.

  157. God is not just on Mother's Day 2026, He's in Father's Day 2027.

  158. He's in your 2035 first service.

  159. I made some crazy number that like put 20,000 years on the calendar, you know what I mean?

  160. But he's there too.

  161. Because here's the thing: God lives outside of time.

  162. Time is a structure that confines us to what is.

  163. But what faith does, it allows us to begin to look, think and see outside of time.

  164. It allows us to live, think, and see like God sees.

  165. Faith sees like God sees, and faith believes like God believes.

  166. So whenever you, whenever I say a line that faith says that God is in my future, watch this now.

  167. I told you earlier that God wants you to be a good success, right?

  168. So God is already in your future, He is there with you in your future, and everything that you're believing Him for, everything that you're trusting Him for, the healing, the marriage, the business in the future is with Him and it's already worked out.

  169. Yes.

  170. Yeah, it is.

  171. Oh, help me, Lord.

  172. Help me, Lord.

  173. But because you are confined to time and you haven't submitted to the Word, you're still only in a line where God is saying, whenever you is this all right?

  174. God is saying, whenever you mouth the word, whenever you meditate on the word, and whenever you move with the word, it actually allows you to come out of time into a realm of God, and and you begin to see and believe like he sees and believes, and whatever is facing you right now is not facing you there and then, and God is saying, I want you to, I want you, I want you to apprehend what's already in front of you.

  175. That's why whenever he told Joshua, listen, I've already given you this land, you the land, and the people the land.

  176. It wasn't because God was like, you know, I'm thinking about doing this, it's in my heart, and so yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna deed this land over to you.

  177. No, God was saying, Joshua, I'm already years in the future, I'm already years in the land, and while you're hanging out on this side of the Jordan, I'm already on the opposite side of the Jordan, and I've already seen that all of your enemies have fallen before you.

  178. I've already seen that all the territories belong to you, I already see the walls of Jericho fallen.

  179. Come on now.

  180. That's a good word right there.

  181. He's saying, I've already given this land to you.

  182. So be strong and courageous.

  183. But you need to be strong and courageous.

  184. And Joshua, the way you become strong and courageous is not by having enough willpower.

  185. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

  186. Oh, please.

  187. Please, if it be thy will, please.

  188. No.

  189. God gives Joshua principles and patterns that if Joshua applies the principles and the patterns, he can have what God says he can have.

  190. Oh, we teach it now, ain't we?

  191. Uh-huh.

  192. You feel that?

  193. That's the anointing to teach, that's the anointing to receive.

  194. So just open up your spirit this morning.

  195. This thing right here that we call the Bible, the word of God.

  196. Watch this now.

  197. This is a book of principles and patterns.

  198. We like to spiritualize and call it keys, right?

  199. Oh, these are the keys of the kingdom.

  200. Yeah, I understand keys and everything like that.

  201. But in the business world, we don't really talk about keys, we talk about principles and patterns.

  202. Because my business people in the room understand this.

  203. Whenever you understand the principle and you work the pattern, you get the same result every single time.

  204. Right?

  205. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

  206. Come on, you understand what I'm saying?

  207. Yeah, we gotta receive.

  208. You generate a lead, you sell the lead, you close the lead, you upsell the lead, right?

  209. You understand?

  210. My business people understand that, but in church world, we make it so spiritual.

  211. But until I'm about to say some stuff and don't get mad at me, until you stop being weird and over, I don't want to say over-spiritualizing because it's good to be spiritual, but over etherealizing it.

  212. Will you make it some kind of mystical thing out there?

  213. You know, God is just out there somewhere, and his keys are out here somewhere, and you know, I know he wants it for me, but I'm still just just trying to grab a hold.

  214. No, God is saying, I have principles, I have patterns.

  215. And if you stop being weird and get in your word, am I doing all right?

  216. Am I doing all right?

  217. And you begin to work the principles and patterns, when you work it, it will work for you.

  218. And so God is looking at Joshua, knowing that he's called Joshua to cross over the Jordan, enter into a promised land, and he sees that Joshua is afraid.

  219. So, what did he say?

  220. Be strong and courageous, Joshua.

  221. And he said it one time and he realized Joshua wasn't getting it, so he said it again.

  222. Joshua, be strong and courageous.

  223. Whenever he said it the second time, he didn't stop there.

  224. He gave him the principle and he gave him the pattern.

  225. He says, Joshua, speak this word, meditate on this word, and do this word.

  226. He said, Joshua, put the word in your mouth, put the word in your mind and put the word in your movement.

  227. Joshua, put the word in your mouth, put the word in your mind, and put the word in your movement.

  228. Drew, put the word in your mouth, put the word in your mind, put the word in your movement.

  229. Come on now.

  230. Elizabeth, put the word in your mouth, put the word in your mind, put the word in your come on.

  231. Am I talking to anybody in the room this morning?

  232. See, y'all trying to cross over and apprehend some things that God has told you that you can walk into, but because we made it so ethereal, we made it so out there, and God is saying, No, let me tell you something.

  233. If you just work the patterns and the principles, you'll receive the strength and the courage that you need to cross over.

  234. Ha! Let me tell you something, my friend.

  235. God has called you to be a good success, and He has given you a pathway to do it.

  236. So let's talk about it.

  237. The word in your mouth, the word in your mind, and the word in your movement.

  238. Can we break it down?

  239. Number one, watch this now.

  240. The word in your mouth combats worry.

  241. The word in your mouth combats worry.

  242. Joshua chapter 1 and verse 8 says this the book of the law, this book of the law shall not depart from your mouth.

    Joshua 1 chapter mention

  243. Joshua could not afford to let worry have his mouth.

  244. The word had to become louder than fear.

  245. The word of God had to become louder than pressure.

  246. The word of God had to become louder than uncertainty.

  247. As I was praying into this and thinking about this and meditating.

  248. And pondering.

  249. I said, Lord, why did you have Joshua speak at first?

  250. You know what I'm saying?

  251. Like, why not write it down and you know, put it on his bathroom mirror so he could walk up every morning and be like, oh yeah.

  252. Uh-huh.

  253. Yeah, that's right.

  254. Okay, yeah, that's good.

  255. Come on, y'all know you try to do it too.

  256. You know what I'm saying?

  257. That first time you try to watch that window after like three and a half months, my gone.

  258. It goes off, right?

  259. Oops, I gotta get a new word.

  260. It's all right.

  261. But let me tell you why God want you to declare the word first.

  262. Because the Bible says, watch this now.

  263. The Bible says that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

  264. The Bible says to watch over your heart, because out of it flow the issues of life.

  265. The Bible says that the heart is exceedingly wicked and evil above everything else.

  266. So why did God have Joshua declare the word before he meditated on the word?

  267. Because what was in his heart came out of his mouth.

  268. And let me tell you, God understood that against Joshua's heart, fear was trying to come, pressure was trying to come, uncertainty was trying to come, anxiety was trying to come.

  269. And so God said this, let me just give you a quick boost in your in yourself, Joshua.

  270. Begin to declare my word.

  271. Because out of the abundance of your heart, the mouth speaks.

  272. So I'm actually going to reverse it for you for a little bit, Joshua, because I know there's some things in your heart right now that if you were to open them up and let them out, it would disqualify you from crossing over into the promised land.

  273. So rather than opening up your mouth and disqualifying you, I want you to open up your mouth and begin to declare what I have declared.

  274. You see, some of you in the room this morning, you need to begin to declare the word because there's some things right here that are trying to creep in.

  275. There's some things right here that are trying to discourage and distract.

  276. Come on now, that are trying to bring fear and disbelief.

  277. But God is saying, get my word in your mouth.

  278. Put what I've declared, and you begin to declare.

  279. Come on now.

  280. God is saying, if you want to cross over and receive strength and receive courage, you gotta put my word in your mouth.

  281. Proverbs 18 and verse 21 says this Death and life are in the power of the tongue.

  282. Okay, you got the whole verse right there?

  283. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

  284. Keep that up there for just a moment.

  285. Death and life are in the power of the tongue.

  286. Now, we spirit-filled Pentecostal, charismatic people, we read that and say, Yes, I'm gonna declare the word of God, I'm gonna get what it says.

  287. But watch this now.

  288. You don't have to be charismatic, Pentecostal, nothing, and still see this word manifested in your life.

  289. Because death and life are in the power of your tongue, and those who love will eat as fruit.

  290. So watch this now.

  291. Some of y'all in the room this morning, you're giving death to what God has said is supposed to be life in your life, and you're bringing life to things that need to die.

  292. You're bringing life to well, this I've been married for so long, and he's never gonna change.

  293. I've been married for so long.

  294. Okay, go y'all.

  295. I start saying some stuff.

  296. Drew, I start saying stuff, and people just get quiet.

  297. You know what I mean?

  298. It's like human nature, you know what I mean?

  299. I've been married this long, and my wife never's gonna change.

  300. I've been working my money all all the time, but I just am never gonna get out of this.

  301. Huh?

  302. You know, I've tried to raise my kids right in the admonition of the Lord, but man, they they just got that spirit of their father on them.

  303. And so this this scripture verse, Proverbs 18, verse 21, death and life in the power of your tongue, and those who love it eat its fruit.

    Proverbs 18:21

  304. Could it be that you're eating the fruit right now in your life of what you have declared and what you have spoken?

  305. There we go.

  306. There it is.

  307. I'm just gonna let that kind of simmer for a little bit, okay?

  308. You feel that in the room right there?

  309. I like it.

  310. It's that tension.

  311. Some people get so uncomfortable with tension, you know what I mean?

  312. They start squirming.

  313. Pastor, can you just say something please to just break it up?

  314. No, I can't, okay?

  315. Just sit there in a minute.

  316. Because here's what here's the thing.

  317. The Bible says godly sorrow brings forth repentance.

  318. And repentance isn't just feeling bad for a thing, repentance is having a change of mind about a thing.

  319. And so, whenever I'm talking, what I'm talking right now, this isn't for me just to take the covers off your whole life and say, hey, everybody, look at them right there.

  320. No.

  321. What I have called to do is to point out some things that way you can have a moment with the Lord and you can say, God, He's preaching right to me.

  322. And Lord, I didn't realize this was happening right now, so help me, Jesus.

  323. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

  324. Huh?

  325. Let me have a change of mind, Jesus.

  326. Let me have a change of perspective, Jesus.

  327. I want to put your word in my mouth, Lord, not my opinions, not my feelings.

  328. Come on, not my history.

  329. I'm I'm moving forward and I'm putting your word in my mouth.

  330. I'm putting your word in my mouth.

  331. God, I come helping some people out this morning.

  332. Hallelujah.

  333. If you're gonna be strong and courageous and cross over and apprehend what God has told you, you can apprehend, you gotta speak the word.

  334. You gotta put that word in your mouth.

  335. Why?

  336. Why?

  337. Why?

  338. Because the word in your mouth combats worry, it combats fear, it combats anxiety, it combats the things in your life that you're seeing right now that you wish you didn't see anymore.

  339. Change the way you talk, change what you're declaring, change your confession.

  340. You know, several years ago we had we had some people come to the church and they're hanging out for a little bit.

  341. They're they were, you know, kind of kicking the tires, dipping their toe in the water to see if this is what I really want.

  342. And they were cool for about you know three months or so.

  343. And then all of a sudden, you know, they just they we need to talk to you, Pastor.

  344. Okay, what's up?

  345. They said, we don't we don't like some things at the church.

  346. And I thought to myself, that's good because I don't have a whole list of things I don't like about you.

  347. So we're gonna have this combo.

  348. Let's have the combo.

  349. No, I'm T and said, I didn't really do that, okay?

  350. I thought it, but I didn't speak it.

  351. Ashley's looking at me on the front, like, she prays for me constantly.

  352. Pray for her because her prayers aren't working, okay.

  353. My God.

  354. No, I'm T I'm Jay.

  355. Watch your mouth, Pastor Aaron, okay.

  356. My bad.

  357. She's a strong prayer warrior.

  358. Glory.

  359. She's put her hand up there like me like that.

  360. We have these people come to the church and they said, you know, we we want to talk about some stuff.

  361. I said, okay, what's up?

  362. They said, we don't like the word of faith, message at overflow.

  363. It's a word of faith.

  364. I said, what you talking about?

  365. You know, you just tell everybody that they can declare what the Bible says, so they can have what the Bible says.

  366. And it is self-word.

  367. Uh, what do you want me to have them declare?

  368. You want me to have them declare their problems, their issues?

  369. And I say, you know, I I I appreciate the word of faith movement.

  370. I wouldn't necessarily call this word of faith movement, but I mean I have the word of God and it gives me faith.

  371. Let me tell you, there's uh, let me just no, no, no, no, let me move on.

  372. I've already offended enough people in the room, including my wife, so I gotta keep going.

  373. You gotta have the word in your mouth, you gotta have the word in your mind.

  374. The word in your mind, watch this now.

  375. The word in your mind builds faith.

  376. The word in your mind builds faith.

  377. Joshua 1, verse 8.

    Joshua 1:8

  378. But you shall meditate on it.

  379. Meditate on what?

  380. The word.

  381. You shall meditate on it day and night.

  382. Can I put it to you like this?

  383. You are already meditating on something.

  384. Did you know worry is a meditation?

  385. Do you know fear is a meditation?

  386. Did you know dysfunction is a meditation?

  387. Did you know victimhood is a meditation?

  388. Oh no.

  389. I'm telling you right now, people you're meditating on something already.

  390. They have even proven to us scientifically that even when you go to sleep and your body rests, your mind is still going.

  391. That's why some of y'all have some crazy dreams and think it's the pizza that you ate the night before.

  392. No, it's because you stressed.

  393. I had a gigantic bird come down and bite my eyeballs out.

  394. Pastor, what do you think it means?

  395. I think it means you need to go sit on a beach somewhere, you know.

  396. I mean, listen to some waves.

  397. My God.

  398. But I'm telling you right now, you're already meditating on something.

  399. I meet people all the time and they're meditating on how it's not gonna work out.

  400. I meet people all the time where they're meditating on how it worked out this time, but what about the next time?

  401. I meet people all the time, they're meditating about everything else but what God has actually said.

  402. And you wonder why you're not seeing what the word of God has for your life.

  403. Well, I come to church on Sunday, Pastor Aaron, you know, and I give and I give my tithes and my offering, and you know, I serve every now and then, but stuff is still the same.

  404. What's your what's your meditation life look like?

  405. What are you thinking on?

  406. What are you meditating on?

  407. Get in the word.

  408. Watch this now.

  409. Worry is meditation too.

  410. Worry rehearses what could go wrong, but faith rehearses what God has already said.

  411. Romans chapter 10, verse 17.

    Romans 10:17

  412. So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

  413. And that right there, let me tell you, hearing and hearing by the word of God is not just you reading the verse of the day.

  414. Shondo.

  415. Uh-huh.

  416. I'm telling I met I meet people all the time.

  417. Well, well, I I I read.

  418. What do you read?

  419. I I I get the verse of the day text message to me on my way driving into work, and I glance out in traffic.

  420. You're the reason why we got so much mess over here.

  421. Come on now.

  422. I'm trying to be spiritual reading, take message in the car.

  423. The verse of the day.

  424. Let me tell you something.

  425. You gotta let the word saturate you, you gotta let the word wash over you.

  426. You gotta let the word not just come in one ear and go out the other.

  427. You gotta let the word come in one ear and get down in your mind, get down in your heart.

  428. Come on now, get down all the way to your big toe.

  429. Come on now.

  430. I'm telling you right now, you gotta get that word so deep on the inside of you that if they were to stick you with a pen, you would leak the word.

  431. Huh?

  432. I'm telling you right now, some people think that they got everything they have because they just glanced over a scripture verse one time.

  433. No, man of God, no woman of God, get a word for your family and declare that thing, meditate on that thing until you see that thing manifested in your home.

  434. Huh?

  435. Come on now.

  436. I'm telling you right now, if you need healing in your body, come on, meditate on them healing scriptures.

  437. If you need freedom in your mind, get a freedom of your mind scripture.

  438. Well, where do I start, Pastor Aaron?

  439. If you don't know your Bible, go to Google.

  440. You're not less spiritual.

  441. If you have to go to Google, come on now.

  442. I'm telling you, the church makes things so weird.

  443. But you know, I was just reading my Bible the other day, it just kind of went like this and said, Okay, that's the word of the Lord.

  444. No, men of God, say, I'm struggling with this ideology.

  445. Give me a scripture verse about it.

  446. Oh, whom the Son sets free is free indeed.

  447. Right?

  448. Come on, woman of God, you're you're dealing with something where you feel inadequate, not enough.

  449. Find a scripture verse where the Bible says, You are wonderfully and fearfully made, where he knit you together in your mother's womb.

  450. Come on now.

  451. Don't over-spiritualize and weird this thing out that is keeping you in bondage.

  452. Meditate on the word, because as you meditate on the word, you begin to get faith, and it begins to acquire and build in your life.

  453. Amen.

  454. And I already told you this earlier.

  455. Whenever you receive faith, faith faith causes you to see like God sees, and faith causes you to believe like God believes.

  456. Let me say one more time.

  457. Faith causes you to see like God sees, and faith causes you to believe like God believes.

  458. That's a good word, Pastor Aaron.

  459. I know it's a good word.

  460. These people ain't shouting down for nothing.

  461. We're writing it down.

  462. We're writing it down.

  463. Uh-huh.

  464. The more you meditate, I'm telling you, the more it becomes part of you.

  465. The more you meditate on the word, the more you realize, man, God really does want me to be a good success.

  466. He really does want my marriage to thrive.

  467. He really does want my kids to behave.

  468. He really does want my money to not be funny.

  469. He really does want my business to go up and not down.

  470. He really has called.

  471. Come on now.

  472. The more you meditate on the word, you realize that God actually wants you to succeed.

  473. Well, you know, the Bible also says, Pastor Aaron, that the Lord is angry with the wicked every day.

  474. Yeah, you're right.

  475. But guess what?

  476. That's what the Bible says.

  477. But the Bible also says, because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ, that you are no longer wicked, you are righteous.

  478. So when God looks at you, he does not look at you as somebody who is far off, he looks at you as somebody who is up close and personal.

  479. Come on now, and you're not wicked anymore.

  480. He calls you righteous, you're not a sinner anymore, you're a saint.

  481. Come on now, you're not broken anymore, you're healed.

  482. He's not looking at you disappointed, he's looking at you and he says, Delighted.

  483. I'm delighted, I'm delighted in you.

  484. Come on, somebody, let me just keep moving on.

  485. Am I doing all right today?

  486. All right.

  487. Word in your mouth combats worry, word in your mind builds faith.

  488. Number three, the word in your movement, watch this now.

  489. This is key.

  490. The word in your movement produces good success.

  491. Joshua 1, verse 8.

    Joshua 1:8

  492. So that he says this, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written.

  493. Let me break it down.

  494. We like to shout all day long, your pastor included.

  495. Hallelujah.

  496. Yes, yes.

  497. The word of God says this, yes, yes, yes.

  498. But let me tell you something.

  499. Oh, hallelujah.

  500. Shouting the word will have a certain effect on your life, but doing the word will completely change your life.

  501. Shouting the word will have a certain effect on your life, but doing the word will completely change your life.

  502. Look at God.

  503. He's speaking to Joshua and he says, Joshua speak it.

  504. Joshua thinking.

  505. But he didn't stop there.

  506. He says, Joshua, now you got to do it.

  507. You got to do something about what you just heard.

  508. You got you've got to do the word in order to receive the fullness of the word.

  509. The word was not just supposed to be spoken or thought about, the word was supposed to be obeyed.

  510. Let me give you this.

  511. Just give me like three minutes, I'll land the plane, and you could go feed your mama.

  512. You ready, Fetter?

  513. Okay, well, lock the doors then.

  514. We'll all eat together.

  515. My God.

  516. He said, Drew said, You're feeding her.

  517. I said, Lock the doors.

  518. Well, they didn't okay, never mind.

  519. You have to do the word.

  520. Watch this now.

  521. Whenever God spoke to Joshua, and he says, Just as I was with Moses, I'm going to be with you as well.

  522. Do you understand?

  523. The Bible says that Moses met with God face to face like a man meets with a friend.

  524. Yes.

  525. So God spoke to Moses directly.

  526. Whenever God spoke to Moses, Moses wrote it down.

  527. Do you understand that?

  528. And so in our Bible and in Scripture, we read that it was the law of Moses.

  529. Because God spoke to Moses, Moses wrote it down, and so they said it's the law of Moses.

  530. But yes, it's the law of Moses, but even more than that, it's the word of God.

  531. So watch.

  532. Whenever God spoke to Joshua and He said, Joshua, speak the word, meditate on the word, and do the word.

  533. He wasn't just saying, Hey, Joshua, figure it out all by yourself.

  534. These are your instructions, have at it.

  535. That's not how God rolls.

  536. Do you understand that about God?

  537. He was saying, Joshua, you know where to go to get what you need.

  538. I met with Moses, I spoke to Moses about this.

  539. Go read what he wrote, speak what he wrote, meditate what he wrote, and do what he wrote.

  540. For the sake of time.

  541. I'm not going to teach the whole thing, but in the book of Leviticus, God spoke to Moses.

  542. They had an encounter, they had a meeting.

  543. And God said, Hey Moses, I'm giving the children of Israel a land.

  544. And I'm kicking the people out who are in there right now.

  545. And the reason why I'm kicking them out is because they've done this, they've done this, they've done this, and they've done this.

  546. And because they have violated this, they violated this, and they violated this.

  547. I'm kicking them out.

  548. Write it down, Moses.

  549. Write it down.

  550. This is their violation, this is their violation, that's their violation.

  551. Write it down, Moses.

  552. Okay, you got that?

  553. All right.

  554. Now listen here, Moses.

  555. Once I bring you into this land, don't do those things.

  556. Because if you do those things, I'm gonna treat you like I treated them.

  557. And because I kicked them out of the land, because they did this, this, and this, if you do this, this, and this, I'm gonna kick you out of the land too.

  558. Write it down, Moses.

  559. Write it down.

  560. So whenever God spoke to Joshua, watch this now.

  561. You still with me, Tony?

  562. If you come up and play.

  563. Whenever God spoke to Joshua and He said, Joshua, speak the word, meditate the word, and do the word, he was saying, Joshua, you're gonna be strong, you're gonna be courageous.

  564. And the way you know you're gonna be strong and courageous, I'm already in your future, and I've already seen the plan work out.

  565. But in order for the plan to work out, you gotta do what I told you to do.

  566. Don't violate my principles.

  567. Come on now.

  568. Don't turn from the left or to the right.

  569. So think about this very practically.

  570. God said, Joshua, are you going into the land?

  571. So, Joshua, I want you to speak this.

  572. We serve only one God and Jehovah is his name.

  573. I serve only one God and Jehovah is his name.

  574. I serve only one God and Jehovah is his name.

  575. Right.

  576. He spoke it, he thought it.

  577. He did it.

  578. God told Abraham, everywhere the light touches belongs to me.

  579. Belongs to everywhere our foot treads, it belongs to us.

  580. Guys, watch this now.

  581. He declares the word, Jericho belongs to us.

  582. He thought Jericho belongs to us.

  583. So he did, Jericho belongs to us.

  584. Yeah.

  585. Yeah.

  586. Yeah.

  587. You shall have no other God before me.

  588. You should have no other God before me.

  589. You should have no other God before me.

  590. Right?

  591. I'm not gonna murder anybody.

  592. I'm not gonna murder anybody.

  593. I'm not gonna murder anybody.

  594. I'm not gonna covet my neighbor's wife.

  595. Not gonna covet my neighbor's wife.

  596. Not gonna cover my neighbor's wife.

  597. Does that make sense?

  598. Joshua knew how to go to the word, how to declare the word and to do the word.

  599. Friends, it's it's not rocket science.

  600. God has called you to cross over, God has called you to leave your yesterday in order to walk into your tomorrow.

  601. And yes, the dogs of doom might be standing at the door of your destiny, but God is declaring over you be strong and courageous.

  602. The land belongs to you, the crossover belongs to you.

  603. What's on the other side of the Jordan belongs to you, and so declare the word, meditate on the word, do the word, put the word in your mouth, put the word in your mind, and put the word in your movement.

  604. God really wants to help you.

  605. Aren't you grateful?

  606. I close with this story, and I promise after this I'm done.

  607. Whenever we first moved to Las Vegas, I met with a pastor who was pastoring here for 40 plus years.

  608. He was a bishop over the state of Nevada, parts of California, and so he'd meet with pastors all the time.

  609. Whenever he met with them, you know, they they'd complain to him or talk about their issues with them and money troubles, marriage troubles, people troubles.

  610. But if I'm being completely honest with you, whenever I sat down with him and we just moved to Las Vegas, we had no money, we had no people.

  611. But I knew I knew Pastor Dave.

  612. I sat down with him and I said, Hey, Pastor Dave, you know, we're working this thing, and you know, we're believing God for some great things.

  613. He goes, son, let me tell you something.

  614. Whenever somebody who has gone before you and who's a lot older than you and have done a lot more life than you, let me give you an insight.

  615. Shut up and let them talk.

  616. In that moment, Pastor Dave didn't want any of my latest revelations.

  617. You know what I mean?

  618. He got them suckers like 30 years ago.

  619. So he said, let me tell you something, Aaron.

  620. And so I said, Yes.

  621. He goes, This is one thing I have learned in 40 years of pastoring in Las Vegas, being saved since I was four years old, and from working across the table from many people like you.

  622. And this point I'm really leaning in.

  623. Thinking, oh boy, he's gonna drop some kind of nugget.

  624. Let me take a sip of my Roy Rogers before he starts talking.

  625. Come on now.

  626. Anyone like that, Roy Rogers?

  627. It's non-alcoholic, it's a housemade cherry coke, in case you're wondering.

  628. Extra cherries.

  629. I'll be having one today at brunch with my wife.

  630. You're not invited.

  631. Hallelujah.

  632. So I lean in and I say, What is it, Pastor Dave?

  633. He goes, you know what?

  634. One thing I have learned is this.

  635. God really wants to help you.

  636. He really wants you to succeed, He really wants your marriage to thrive, He really wants your ministry to succeed, He really wants you to have a strong mind.

  637. He really wants to help you.

  638. And my friend, this morning, let me tell you this today.

  639. God really wants to help you, He really wants you to be a good success, and He's given you the principles and the patterns that you need to live it out, to walk it out, and to shut up the dogs of doom that are standing at the door of your destiny.

  640. Amen.

  641. Stay with me all over the room.
