Joshua chapter 1, 1 through 9, it says this after the death of Moses, the servant of the Lord, the Lord said to Joshua, the son of nun, Moses' assistant, Moses, my servant, is dead.
Joshua 1 chapter mention
-
Now therefore, arise.
-
Go over this Jordan, you and all this people, into the land that I am giving to them, to the people of Israel, every place.
-
Someone say every place.
-
Every place that the soul of your foot will tread upon, I have given to you just as I promised to Moses.
-
From the wilderness in this Lebanon, as far as the great river, the river Euphrates, and all the land of the Hittites to the great sea, towards the going down of the sun shall be your territory.
-
No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life.
-
Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you.
-
I will not leave you or forsake you.
-
That was a good amen spot right there.
-
Be strong and courageous, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land I swore to their fathers to give them.
-
Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the law that Moses, my servant, commanded you to do.
-
Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go.
-
This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, and you uh so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it, for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
-
In verse 9, this is our primary text today.
-
I've been honestly, I've been waiting to preach this for the last month.
-
Have I not commanded you, Jesus?
-
Now you don't have to shout with me.
-
I I just I've I've read this thing probably 300 times before we came, we before we got here today, okay?
-
Over the last several, I'm telling you right now, that's something's had to pop off in your house in your house today, in your life today, amen.
-
I'm telling you, God has something for you today, and this isn't me just trying to hype you up, but I'm telling you, if you will open up your heart and open up your spirit, God has it for you today.
-
Have I not commanded you?
-
Be strong and courageous, do not be frightened and do not be dismayed.
-
For the Lord your God is with you, hallelujah, wherever you go.
-
Father, this morning, breathe upon your word and let it accomplish far beyond my human intellect.
-
And Lord, let it go deep down on the in on the inside of people in the mighty name of Jesus.
-
Holy Ghost, we need you today.
-
Come on, just talk to the Lord for about 10 seconds.
-
Ask him to touch your heart, touch your mind.
-
Come on, touch you.
-
Holy Spirit, we need you today.
-
So bring about a great change this morning.
-
Bring about a loosing and a breaking to those things that need to be loose and broken in the mighty name of Jesus.
-
So we thank you for this.
-
We call it done in the mighty name of Jesus.
-
Come on, someone say amen.
-
Amen.
-
Amen.
-
Amen.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Uh, week four of going all in.
-
Week one, we talked about how you have to embrace and embark.
-
You remember this?
-
You have to be brave enough to bury the thing and bold enough to stand from the thing.
-
God spoke to Joshua and He said, Moses, my servant, is dead.
-
Now, therefore, arise.
-
Y'all, if you're gonna cross over and go all in, you have to get to the place where you let go of the past season in order to walk into your future season.
-
Amen.
-
So you have to be brave enough to bury and bold enough to stand.
-
In the second week, I talked to you about how God will lead somebody.
-
He looked at Joshua and he said, Moses, my servant, is dead.
-
Now therefore, go and arise.
-
For I am giving this people this land.
-
I'm giving this land to you.
-
And he said to Joshua, Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread, it belongs to you, and no man shall be able to stand against you all the days of your life.
-
I let you know the way that God leads you is through his vow.
-
He gives you a promise, he leads you through his vision, he gives you a preferred future.
-
I'm recapping now.
-
Is this all right with the recap?
-
I know some people miss some weeks, and I just want to get everyone on the same page.
-
Is this all right?
-
He leads you with the vow, his promise.
-
He leads you with the vision, he gives you a preferred future, and then he leads you with victory.
-
He said, Every place the sole of your foot treads, it belongs to you, and no man shall be able to stand against you.
-
Come on, am I am I talking to anybody in the room this morning?
-
Victory is your portion today.
-
Come on now.
-
You you ha ha ha ha you might have had a bending season, but you're not gonna break in that season.
-
Come on now.
-
Come on, victory.
-
Look at your neighbor and say, Victory is my portion.
-
Look at your other neighbor and say, Victory is my portion.
-
Uh-huh.
-
And I'll tell let me just give you this freebie this morning.
-
Is this all right?
-
Because I've met some Christians, well-meaning, idiotic Christians, and they say, Well, you know, greater levels, greater devils.
-
And I let them know that is completely unbiblical.
-
Because Psalms 23 says this that he prepares a table before me in the presence of my enemies, so it's not greater levels, greater devils, it's greater levels, greater anointing.
-
Come on now, greater levels, greater victory, greater.
-
Come on.
-
Am I talking to anybody in the room this morning?
-
I came here this morning to remind you that the spirit of the overcomer is who you are.
-
It feels good in here today.
-
It feels good, yeah.
-
That's good.
-
Someone must have turned down the AC last night.
-
So it feels real good up in this book.
-
You remember this?
-
And the way you become a good success is by putting the word of God in your mouth, putting the word of God in your mind, and putting the word of God in your movement.
-
Remember that?
-
Why?
-
Because heaven and earth might pass away, but God says, My word will never pass away.
-
All of all of creation is upheld by the word of God.
-
And so, why do we put the word in our mouth, our mind, and our movement?
-
It's because the word of God is one of the strongest forces in the entire universe.
-
And so don't declare your feelings, don't declare your opinions, declare what God has declared.
-
And when you watch this now, and I'm giving you recap because we got to go some places this morning.
-
Is this all right?
-
Whenever you begin to declare what God has declared, faith arises in you.
-
And I told you last week that faith allows you to see like God sees, and faith allows you to believe like God believes.
-
Faith is the force that allows you, watch this now, to come out of the realm of natural time, and it allows you to get into the plane of where God is, where God lives outside of time.
-
He is not only in your yesterday, he's in your future, and he's in your today all at one time.
-
Why?
-
Because he lives outside of time.
-
And so, whenever you allow the Spirit of God to come upon you, you get that word in you, you declare the word, you meditate on the word, you do the word, you begin to have faith arise in you.
-
Is this all right?
-
And as faith arises in you, you begin to elevate out of what you are in into what God is in, and you begin to see like God sees, and you begin to believe like God believes.
-
And why is that important?
-
Because God is already in your future right now, and in your future, you already healed.
-
Come on now, you're already free in your future.
-
Come on now, your marriage is already reconciled.
-
Come on now.
-
God is already in your promised land.
-
He's saying, You're on this side of the Jordan, but I've already crossed over, I'm years into the future, and I've already seen how all of your enemies have come under your feet.
-
I've already seen, come on now, man.
-
And so this morning it moves us on to this last verse in Joshua chapter 1, 1 through 9.
Joshua 1 chapter mention
-
And part of this that's bubbling in my spirit this morning is because you read this as God is speaking to Joshua, and this is like the end cap to everything he's been declaring to Joshua up until this point.
-
He's already called Joshua out and said, Hey, listen, I know your guy's dead, but you you you still have a mission ahead of you.
-
I know you're feeling a certain kind of way, and maybe you've never embarked on the other side of this river, but I'm going with you and I'm calling you into that thing.
-
And God has worked with Joshua, He's infused Joshua with strength and with courage.
-
And in this last verse, watch this now.
-
It's like God is looking at Joshua and just hitting a home run.
-
And I believe that God, you like how I did that?
-
Uh-huh.
-
I did that.
-
I saw something go, okay, okay, yeah, nice.
-
I've been practicing, okay.
-
Stand in my mirror at home and just, no, I'm kidding, I don't really do that.
-
But God is looking at you and me this morning, and he's putting an end cap into what you have been called into.
-
He's wanting to continue to infuse you with the strength and the courage that is needed to fully cross over into what he is calling you into.
-
My friend, let me tell you something.
-
That season is over.
-
The chapter has been written, and God is turning a page in your life, and he's saying, now it's time for a new chapter.
-
See, maybe maybe you're not feeling that in this one, but I'm telling you right now, I'm grateful.
-
I'm grateful that the last chapter of my life wasn't the last chapter of my life.
-
Come on, that it wasn't the final chapter of my life, that the last chapter wasn't the totality of the entire book.
-
It made me who I am today.
-
Glory be to God.
-
It made me able to stand in the face of any kind of adversity and say, He was with me back then and he is with me right now.
-
And so, whatever it is, I don't know exactly what you're walking into, but maybe it's walking in, letting go of the business and starting fresh.
-
Maybe it's letting go of the marriage that didn't work out, but now God is saying it's time to work it out.
-
Come on now, don't look at me with that tone of voice now.
-
You can't really talk about that in church.
-
I just did.
-
It's time to cross over.
-
And so this morning, what God is talking to Joshua, and my friend, I believe what God is talking to you and me today is this.
-
He is telling us today that you can have courage on demand.
-
You can have courage on demand.
-
And anybody say, What does that mean?
-
Come on now.
-
You you know you could you have TV shows on demand, right?
-
You have a thought about something, say, Man, I want to watch that movie.
-
What do you do?
-
You just flip over to the movie and say, All right, here we go.
-
We're we're watching this today.
-
Our family, I'm gonna I'm gonna let you in on my family this morning.
-
Is this right?
-
We watch Little House on the Prairie, nine seasons.
-
We just finished the ninth season last night.
-
Hallelujah in the name of Jesus.
-
It's it listen, it's a wholesome, great show, but man, there's only so many horses I could watch frolicking across an open prairie.
-
There's all only so many people I could look at and say, if I was with you right now, I would suck you right your nose in the name of Jesus.
-
But whenever we want to watch something, we just turn on something and we say it's made available to us.
-
And God is saying the same thing for you as you're walking into this new season, and what you need in this new season is courage, he's saying you can have courage on demand.
-
You can have courage on demand.
-
Because I this is what I know.
-
Whenever you are, whenever you have crossed over and you're stepping into the fullness of what God has for you, I shared it last week.
-
The dogs of doom stand at the doorway of your destiny.
-
Meaning, one of the greatest things that you will have to face as you cross over is fear.
-
And you know how you combat fear?
-
You tap into the courage of the Lord, you tap into the strength of heaven, you tap into what God has made available to you.
-
That way, no matter what you face, you understand that even though you might be facing it, it will not take you down.
-
My friend, you can have courage on command, on demand this morning.
-
Amen.
-
And so here's Joshua chapter 1, verse 9, and God says, Have I not commanded you?
-
Have I not commanded you?
-
Be strong and courageous, do not be frightened and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
-
If you're gonna have courage on demand this morning, there's three C's that I want to give you.
-
Can I give you three C's?
-
You know, I'm I'm a preacher, so I like patterns and and points and all these different.
-
Can I give you three C's?
-
The three C's to courage on on demand is this the call, the confidence, and the coverage.
-
The call, the confidence, and the courage.
-
So watch this now.
-
Let's talk about the call.
-
God looks at Joshua and right off the bat he says, This have I not commanded you.
-
Get this deep down in your spirit.
-
When you look at the life of Joshua and you look at your life, God is the one who called Joshua.
-
Joshua did not call himself, and my friend, God is the one who called you.
-
You did not call yourself.
-
Amen.
-
What does that mean?
-
You did not determine whether or not you were going to be born.
-
Amen.
-
You were not the one to determine that you were gonna be born the year that you were born, live in the in the in the nation that you live in.
-
You were not you did not determine the parents that you were gonna have.
-
You were you did not determine the upbringing that you were that you that you had.
-
Come on now.
-
There was nothing about your life that you called yourself into.
-
God is the one that called you, God is the one who ordained you, God is the one who appointed you, God is the one who called you out by name and caused you to be in existence.
-
Well, I had a pretty rough upbringing.
-
You know, my my family was this and my family was that, and how could a loving God put me in those situations?
-
Let me tell you something right now.
-
God is not a bad God.
-
The Bible says that it is the devil who still kills and destroys.
-
And so God is not the one that that that abused you, God is not the one who abandons you, God is not the one who caused this different trauma to happen in your life.
-
Come on now.
-
That's that's the enemy of your soul, because the enemy knows something that you need to know that if he can get you off course, get you in your feelings, get you in your past, come on now, get you in these things where you feel like, well, this happened to me.
-
How could it happen to me?
-
And if the enemy can keep you in victimhood, and keep you out of the reality that now that you are in Jesus Christ, you have been born again, that the old has passed, that the new has come, and you are now a new creation creation.
-
Come on now.
-
If the enemy can get you bound up in what was, you will never walk into what is supposed to be.
-
So put your shoulders back, put your head up, and understand this.
-
God is the one who has called me into this thing.
-
I might have walked through some mess, I might have walked through some trials, I might have gone up, I might have gone down, but ultimately God is the one who has ordained my life.
-
I like to put it like this to people.
-
It did not happen to you, it happened for you.
-
Huh?
-
Can I just say some stuff this morning?
-
Is this all right?
-
There was a point in time in my life where I used to say, Well, how could I be born to this specific family?
-
They all don't like me.
-
I've been labeled the black sheep of the family.
-
Don't raise your hand, but anybody else?
-
And for the longest, I know some of y'all I said, don't raise your hand, but you raised your voice, my God.
-
Sure enough, Pastor Aaron.
-
Right here, that's me, right?
-
But I used to, I used to live with this victim mentality complex.
-
Where I used to think, well, look, uh everyone else is living a great life, and look at me, oh man, they're all they're all hanging out.
-
What about me?
-
And then I realized one day that mess didn't happen to me, it happened for me.
-
Because watch this now, and some people might not like this reality, but if I if I lived for the approval of my family and the approval of man, I wouldn't be standing in front of you right here, right now.
-
You see, because I in one season I thought it happened to me, but little did I know the rejection of man was actually the protection of God.
-
Huh?
-
Come on now.
-
Man's rejection was God's protection, and little did I know whenever I was cast aside by certain people, that God was saying, It's all right because I have a plan for you, son, I have a people for you, son, and I have a place for you, son.
-
Uh-huh.
-
See, some of y'all in the room this morning, and you're so locked up in what happened to you when you need to realize that it didn't happen to you, it happened for you.
-
Even in the process, God is developing, even in the process, God is moving, even in what you might be walking through right now.
-
God is working something out in you and through you and for you.
-
My, my, my, my, my.
-
God is the one who called Joshua, and God is the one who called you.
-
God has spoken, God has commissioned, God has called.
-
I put it like this in my notes.
-
When you understand that God is the one who called you, you're not walking out a good idea, you're walking out a God idea.
-
You're not walking out a good idea, you're walking out a God idea.
-
Do you understand that your life is God's idea?
-
Man directs his path, but the Lord orders his steps.
-
Oh, no, man devises a plan, but God uh directs his path.
-
I'm telling you right now, my friend, you think you think this stuff is just happening by happening steps, but no, no, no.
-
God is working something out in you because he's the one that has called you.
-
God has called you, God has called me.
-
Have I not commanded you, Joshua?
-
Have I not called you out, Joshua?
-
Have I not ordained your life, Joshua?
-
Am I not the one who put you where you're supposed to be, Joshua?
-
Am I not the one who knew you before you were even formed in your mother's womb, Joshua?
-
Come on, some of you in the room this morning, you need to hear the Lord saying that to you.
-
Am I not the one who called you?
-
Am I not the one who ordained you?
-
Am I not the one who foreknew you even before you were in your mother's womb?
-
If you want courage on demand, you need to understand this.
-
God is the one who has called you out.
-
You know why that's freeing to me?
-
Can I tell you why that's freeing to me?
-
Because if I I I you know, I like one liners.
-
Anyone else like one liners?
-
He gets caught in my mind and just makes me feel a little bit more studious, scholastical.
-
You know why it gives me comfort that God is the one that called me out?
-
Because I like to put it like this.
-
If it's his will, it's his bill.
-
If it's his will, it's his bill.
-
Now I know many preachers use that, you know, where they're trying to raise money to build a building, right?
-
Well, it's his will, it's his bill.
-
Please just give us all this money, right?
-
We don't do that in this house.
-
Come on, somebody.
-
But I use that, I use that same one liner and that phrase in my life.
-
My life is his will.
-
Therefore, my life is his bill.
-
So he has to take care of me.
-
He ha come on now.
-
He's got to work this thing out.
-
Because I didn't call myself.
-
I didn't, I wasn't the one that said I wanted to be born.
-
I wasn't the one that said I want to be in that family.
-
I'm not even the one that wanted to be in Las Vegas.
-
It's him.
-
Huh?
-
So funny.
-
I talk with some people sometimes.
-
They said, like, like, what was it like to answer the call of God on your life?
-
And I said, I didn't know I had a chance.
-
I didn't, I mean, I didn't know I had a choice.
-
You know what I mean?
-
I was always raised.
-
If God calls you, you better answer.
-
Because you don't want him to disconnect on the other line.
-
Oh my God.
-
Right?
-
I'm telling you, so I live my life knowing this reality.
-
And I want you to get this deep down in your spirit too.
-
Knowing this reality, you are his will.
-
Therefore, you are his bill.
-
He's got to take care of everything that concerns you.
-
And you know what's amazing about this?
-
The Bible tells us that he is doing just that.
-
Hallelujah.
-
So if you want courage on demand this morning, number one, understand this the call.
-
God is the one who has called you.
-
Amen.
-
Have I not commanded you?
-
And then he goes on to say this be strong and of good courage.
-
Be not afraid and do not be dismayed.
-
So God not only gives you the call, but now God wants to give you the confidence.
-
He looks at Joshua and He says, Joshua, I'm the one that set you up for this thing.
-
And because I set you up for this thing, you don't have to be afraid about nothing.
-
And God is saying, Joshua, I called you.
-
I'm the one that ordained you.
-
I'm the one that's appointing you into this ministry now that Moses is gone.
-
And because I'm calling you Joshua, you don't have to be afraid of anything.
-
You don't have to be nervous about anything.
-
That's a good word.
-
You don't have to be nerve, you don't have to worry about nothing.
-
You don't have to be afraid about nothing.
-
Come on now.
-
You don't have to be nervous about anything.
-
What about the the reports they're talking out of out of Washington, DC, where they're flying all the all these UFOs over over overhead?
-
Pastor Aaron, what do you think about the release of aliens?
-
Who cares?
-
Hello?
-
I ain't got nothing to be afraid of.
-
Come on now.
-
The spirit of fear that has been released over the world and over this nation, it does not have to be your portion.
-
Do you not think that God knew exactly what he was doing whenever he called you into this thing, that in 2026 that all hell was gonna seem to break loose?
-
And even though he knew it was gonna happen, he still called you, he still ordained you, he still appointed you.
-
Here you are freaking about about nothing.
-
God is the one who called you into this thing, he's the one that ordained you into this thing, he's the one that says, Have I not commanded you?
-
Have I not called you?
-
And he's looking at you and meaning he's saying, Because I commanded him, because I called, you don't have to be afraid about nothing.
-
You don't gotta uh you don't gotta be afraid about your kids going to school on Monday.
-
Come on now, you don't gotta be afraid about living in the neighborhood that you live in.
-
You don't uh come on now, you don't gotta be afraid about what's gonna happen tomorrow because if I could take care of the sparrows, what makes you think I can't take care of you two?
-
Come on now.
-
If I could if I could save Aaron Pino at 18 years old, this knucklehead alcoholic running around in the streets, not knowing which way was up or which way was down, what makes you think I can't do it for you two?
-
Come on now, you are too concerned about too many things, and God is saying you do not have to be afraid about nothing, He not only gives you the call, but then He releases to you the confidence that you need.
-
Hallelujah! Hallelujah.
-
Courage is rooted in the command of the Lord, even whenever you face new territory, it might be uncertain to you, but it is certain to God.
-
Think about Joshua.
-
Well, I I've I've never led two million people before.
-
Think about Joshua, I've never gone into Canaan land before.
-
Think about come on now, think about Joshua.
-
I was born in slavery in Egypt.
-
I've been wandering in the wilderness for the last 40 years.
-
I've seen the cloud by day, the pillar of uh of fire by night, but I've never done what you're asking me to do before.
-
And God is saying, it might look uncertain to you, Joshua, but it is certain to me.
-
It is certain to me that the victory belongs to you.
-
It is certain to me that everywhere you place your foot, it belongs to you.
-
It is certain to me that no man shall be able to stand against you all the day.
-
Come on now, my friend.
-
Let me tell you something this morning.
-
It might be uncertain to you, but it is certain to God.
-
Your future is secured in the hands of the master.
-
What are you gonna be afraid of?
-
Huh?
-
And I love that word right there.
-
He says, Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed.
-
You know what that word dismayed means?
-
It means to be a nervous wreck.
-
In the original language, it means to be broken down emotionally.
-
Well, I believe that God can, but I don't know if he will.
-
I know he can heal me, but I don't know that he will heal me.
-
I know that he can provide, but I don't know that he will provide.
-
I know that he can say, but I don't know that he will.
-
Come on now.
-
I know people, come on now.
-
You you try to walk this thing out.
-
He's I'm not afraid of nothing, but on the inside, you are a nervous wreck.
-
And you're worried about too much junk.
-
And you're sitting back and saying, Well, you know, I know the word of the Lord, but I know the Bible says this, but I know it's happened for other people, but my friend, let me tell you this morning.
-
Whenever he looked at Joshua and says, Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed, he is saying the same thing to you today.
-
You don't have to be afraid, and you don't have to be a nervous wreck.
-
Now you don't have to raise your hand, but I've been a nervous wreck before.
-
Come on now.
-
I know what it's like to have my back up against the wall, but at the same time, I know what it's like to have my back up against the wall, but my feet planted on the rock of my salvation.
-
Come on now.
-
My friend, no matter what you're walking in right now, no matter what God is calling you into right now, you might not know the totality of all that it entails, but God is looking at you and He says, You do not have to be afraid, and you don't have to be worried how I'm gonna work it all out.
-
Psalms 27, one through five says this.
-
Watch this now.
-
The Lord is my light and my salvation.
-
Whom shall I fear?
-
The Lord is the strength of my life, whom shall I be afraid?
-
When the wicked come against me to eat my flesh, my enemies and my foes, they stumbled and they fell.
-
Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear.
-
Can I keep going?
-
Though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident.
-
One thing I have desired of the Lord, my God, that will I seek that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life to behold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.
-
Watch this now, verse 5, Psalms 27, verse 5.
-
For in the time of trouble, come on now.
-
Can we put that scripture verse on the screen?
-
Is that go ahead right there?
-
Uh-huh.
-
For he will hide me in the shelter in the day of trouble.
-
Can you can you put it in the uh the new king james?
-
I know I'm putting y'all guys on the spot.
-
Come on, watch this.
-
For in the time of trouble, you're you all reading what I'm what I'm reading this morning.
-
For in the time of trouble, he shall hide me in his pavilion, in the secret place of his tabernacle, he shall hide me, he shall set me high upon a rock.
-
I love this because the psalm writer here, David, knew that stuff was gonna happen, stuff was gonna come, that he was gonna face some things, but David understood right here that he didn't have to be afraid of anything because he wasn't the one that called himself, he's not the one who commissioned himself.
-
Come on now.
-
David understood that it was God Almighty, and because he understood that God called him, that he and because he understood God called him, he now had God confidence.
-
My friend, you can have the same today, amen.
-
Let me give you the last point.
-
We're out of time.
-
I'm out of time.
-
So God gives you the call, God gives you the confidence.
-
Then watch this lastly, God gives you the coverage.
-
God gives you the coverage.
-
For he says, Have I not commanded you be strong and courageous, do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed.
-
Watch this now.
-
For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
-
Rochelle, if you'll come.
-
Thank you.
-
You see, you might read that this morning and say, Oh, that's nice.
-
Oh, how good, how how great.
-
That's really cool.
-
He's gonna be with me wherever I go.
-
No, let me tell you something.
-
God just gave Joshua a guarantee.
-
Joshua, I'm gonna be with you wherever you go.
-
Wherever you go.
-
Remember a little bit earlier, God spoke to Joshua and He said, Joshua, just as I was with Moses, I'm gonna be with you.
-
Remember that?
-
Well, do you remember?
-
I wrote this in my notes.
-
Let me give this to us real quick.
-
He was saying, Joshua, whenever Moses was facing Pharaoh, I was with him.
-
When Moses was facing a rebellious people, I was with him.
-
Joshua, when Moses had the sea ahead of him and the enemy behind him, I was with him.
-
Joshua, I brought manna from heaven, I brought quail around the camp, I brought water from the rock, I was the pillar of fire by night, I was the cloud by day.
-
Joshua, just as I was with Moses, I will be with you.
-
And I love this because God, I I I could just picture God knowing what God knew.
-
Him saying, even though you might not know it yet, Joshua, I'm gonna allow you to cross over the Jordan on dry ground.
-
Even though you might not know it yet, Joshua, I'm gonna allow the walls of Jericho to come down before you.
-
Even though you don't know it yet, Joshua, I'm gonna cause hail to come out of the sky and to destroy the army before you, Joshua.
-
Come on, you ever read the book of Joshua?
-
You know what God did for Joshua?
-
Joshua had many foes that he had to face, but God delivered him out of every foe.
-
Come on, there was a point in time where Joshua was fighting an enemy, and Joshua looked at the sun and he said, Son, stand still.
-
Because the Bible said as long as the sun was in the heat in the heat of the day, that they won the battle.
-
And so Joshua understood, I need more of the sun if I'm gonna defeat this foe.
-
And so Joshua looked at the sun and he said, Son, stand still.
-
Watch this now.
-
And God, watch this, watch this.
-
God was even before Joshua, before Joshua knew he was going to need him.
-
Joshua didn't know he was gonna need the sun to stand still.
-
God did.
-
Joshua didn't know that he was gonna need some supernatural strength to push down the walls of Jericho, but God did.
-
Joshua didn't even know in this portion of scripture that God was gonna cause the Jordan to split in two and to dry the land so Joshua could walk through on dry ground, but God did.
-
Wherever you go, Joshua, wherever you go, I will be with you.
-
My friend, just as he declared it to Joshua, he's declaring that to you as well today.
-
Wherever you go, my son, wherever you go, my daughter, I will be with you because I'm the one that called you, I'm the one that gives you the confidence, and my child, I'm the one that's covering you even now.
