Hello, this is Sarah with the Royal Mission Society Church
-
of God. I want to study. Elijah first came seventeen
-
verse one to fourteen. Now Elijah the tish Bite from
-
Tishby and Galleh Gahliad said to ahab As the Lord,
-
the God of Israel, lids whom I serve, there will
-
be neither June nor rain in the next few years
-
except at my word. So then it's saying and unless
-
except that Elijah's word, there is no rain. So we
-
got to remember that no rain accepted Elijah's word. Then
-
the word of the Lord came to Elijah, leave here,
-
turn eastward and hide in the Kereth Revine east of
-
the Jordan. You will drink from the brook, and I
-
have directed the revens stew supply you with food there.
-
So he did what the Lord had told him. He
-
went to the Kirath Revine east of the Jordan and
-
stay there. The revens brought him bread and meat in
-
the morning, and bread and meat in the evening, and
-
he drank from the brook. Sometime later the brook dried
-
up because there hadn't.
-
Been no rain in the land.
-
Then the word of the Lord came to him go
-
at once to Zarapath and the region that didn't stay there.
-
I have directed a widow there to supply you with food.
-
So he went to Zara path. When he came to
-
the town gate, a widow was there gathering sticks. He
-
called her and asked, would you bring me a little
-
water in a jar so I may have a drink.
-
As she was going to get it, he called, and
-
bring me please a piece of bread, as surely it's
-
the Lord, your god lives. She replied, I don't have
-
any bread, only a handful of flour in a jar
-
and a little olive oil in a jug.
-
I'm gathering a few sticks.
-
Tack home and make a meal for myself and my
-
son that we may eat and die.
-
Elijah said to her, don't be afraid.
-
Go home and do it you have said, But first
-
make a small loaf of bread for me from what
-
you have, and bring it to me, and then make
-
something for yourself and your son.
-
For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says.
-
The jar of flower will not up and the jug
-
of oil will not run dry until this day the
-
Lord sends rain on the land.
-
So the Lord is.
-
Gonna send rain on the land, but it's at Elijah's word.
-
After a long time, in the third year, the word
-
of the Lord came to Elijah, going to present yourself
-
to Ahab, and I will send rain on the land.
-
So Elijah went to present himself to Ahab. Now the
-
famine was severance to Mary and ahabinson and had summoned Abadiah,
-
his palace administrator. Obadiah was a devout believer in the Lord.
-
While Jezbel was killing off the Lord's prophets, OBAIDI had
-
taken a hundred prophets and hitting them in two calves,
-
fifteen each, and had supplied them with food and water.
-
Ahab has said to Obadi, go throughout the land, to
-
all the springs and valleys. Maybe we can find some
-
grass to keep the horses and mules alive, so we
-
will not have to kill any of our animals. So
-
they divide the land they were to cover. I have
-
going in one direction, Obadi in another. As Obadi was
-
working along Elijah in my head, Obadi recognized him and
-
bowed down to the ground and said, is it really you,
-
my lord? Elijah guests to reply, go, I'll tell your mine.
-
As Elijah is here, we have it done wrong. Ask
-
Obadiah that you are handing your servant over to Ahab
-
to be put to death.
-
Surely hits the Lord, your God lives.
-
There is not a nation or kingdom where my Master
-
has not se sent someone to look for you. And
-
whenever a nation or kingdom claims you were not there,
-
he made them swear they cannot find you. But now
-
you tell me to go to my master and say
-
Elijah is here. I don't know where the spirit of
-
the Lord may carry you when.
-
I leave you.
-
If I go and tell Ahab, he doesn't find and
-
he will kill me. Yet, I, your servant, have worshiped
-
the Lord since my youth. Having you heard my Lord,
-
but I did while Jezebel was killing the prophets of
-
the Lord. I hid a hundred of the Lord's prophets
-
in two calves, fifteen in each, to supply them with
-
food and water. And now you tell me to go
-
to my master and say Elijah is here, he will
-
kill me. Elijah said, as the Lord Almighty lives to
-
my term, I will serve who I will surely.
-
Present myself to Ahab today.
-
So Obadiah went to me Ahab and told him and
-
Ahem went to meet Elijah. When he saw Elijah, he
-
said to him, is that you troubler of Israel? I
-
have not made trouble for Israel. Elijah replied, but you
-
and your family have you have a band of the
-
Lord's commands, and then follow the balls. Now some of
-
the people from all over Israel to meet you. I'm
-
Mount Karmel, and bring the four hundred and fifty prophets
-
of Ball and the four hundred prophets of a Shaer
-
who eat at Jezebel's table. So all together with eight
-
hundred and fifty prophets that ate at Jezebel the Adulter's table.
-
So got to remember that. So Ahab sent words throughout
-
all Israel. Assembled the prophets on Mount Carmel. Elijah went
-
before the people and said, how long will you waver
-
between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him,
-
but if Baal is God, follow him. But the people
-
said nothing. Then Elijah said to them, I'm the only
-
one of the Lord's prophets left. But Ball has four
-
hundred and fifty prophets. Get two bulls for us. Let
-
Baal's prophets choose one for themselves and let them cut
-
into pieces and put it on the wood, but not
-
said fire to it. I'll prepare the other bull and
-
put it on the wood, but not set fire to it.
-
Then you call in the name of your God, and
-
I will call in the name of the Lord, the
-
god who answers by fire.
-
He is God. Then all the people said, what you
-
say is good.
-
Elijah said to the prophets of ball, she's one of
-
the bulls, and prepare it first, as there are so.
-
Many of you.
-
Call in the name of your God, but to not
-
light the fire. So they took the ball, giving them
-
prepared to Then they called the name of ball from
-
morning till evening.
-
Ball answer as they shot it.
-
If there was no response, no one answered, and they
-
danced around the altar they had made made at new
-
and Elijah began to taunt them.
-
Shout ladder. He said, surely he is a god.
-
Perhaps he's in deep thought, are busier traveling, Maybe he's sleeping.
-
He must be awakened.
-
So they shout the ladder and slashed themselves with the
-
swords and spears, as was their customers, till their blood flowed.
-
May day passed and they continued their frantic prophesying until
-
the times in the evening sacrifice, but there was no response.
-
No one answered, no one paid attention. Then Elijah said,
-
to all the people, come to me. They came to him,
-
and he repaired the altar of the Lord, which had
-
been torn down. Elijah took twelve stones, one for each
-
tribe's descendstive Jacob, to the word of the Lord, came saying,
-
your name should be Israel. With the stones, heepe an
-
alter in the name of the Lord, and dug a
-
trench around it large.
-
Enough to hold twussayas of seed.
-
He arranged the wood, cut the bowl into pieces, and
-
laid it on the wood. Then he said to them,
-
filled four large jars with water, and pour it on
-
the offerings and on the wood. Do it again, he said,
-
and they did it again. Do it a third time.
-
He wought it, and they did it a third time.
-
The water ran down around the altar and even filled
-
the trench. At the time of the sacrifice, the prophet
-
Elijah stepped forward and prayed, Lord, the God of Abraham,
-
Isaac and Israel, let it be known, say that you
-
are God in Israel, and I'm your servant. And then
-
all these things at your command. Answer me, Lord, Anthemy says,
-
people will know that you Lord of God, turning their
-
hearts back again. Then the fire of the Lord fell
-
down and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones,
-
and the soil, and also licked up the water in
-
the trench. When all the people saw this, they fell
-
prostrate and cried, the Lord he is God, The Lord,
-
he is God. Then Elijah commands to them, sees the
-
prophets of Bud. Don't let anyone get away. They seize them,
-
and Elijah had them brought down to Keisham Valley and
-
slaughtered there. So Elijah prepares the ruined altar of the Lord.
-
He exposes the eight hundred and fifty prophets that are
-
adulterous nations, eight hundred and fifty false adulterous nations. He
-
repairs the altar of the Lord, exposes the Sun God worshippers,
-
and he brings the Holy Spirit of the Latter Rain.
-
What is the Holy Spirit? How is the Holy.
-
Spirit the Latter Rain? It's Joseah sixty three.
-
Let us acknowledge the Lord, and press on to acknowledge him.
-
As surely as the sun rises. He will appear. He
-
will come to us like the winter rains, like the
-
spring rains that water the earth. So God is known
-
as the Holy Spirit, as we know. Then when he
-
comes to us, it's like the spring rains that water
-
the earth.
-
That's the latter rains.
-
In verse eighteen, Yeah, I was in first Kings nineteen
-
verse eighteen, Yeah, I reserve of seven thousand in Israel,
-
all whose needs have not bowed down to ball and
-
whose mouths have not kissed him malchi III. I will
-
send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me.
-
Then suddenly the Lord's word seeking will come to his temple,
-
the messenger of the Covenant in whom you desire, what
-
comes as the Lord Almighty, the Messenger of the Covenant comes.
-
But first Elijah must come to prepare the way before God.
-
John one, verse three, John three, verse one. In those
-
dangers on those days, John the Baptist came preaching in
-
the wilderness of Juday and saying, repent for the Kingdom
-
of Heaven has come near. This is he who was
-
spoken of through the prophet a voice of when calling
-
in the wilderness, prepare the way for the Lord, make
-
straight paths for him. John's clothes were made of camel hair,
-
and he had a leather belt around his waist. His
-
food was locus and wild Tiney people went out to
-
him from Jerusalem and all day and the whole region
-
of the Jordan, confessing their sins. They were baptized by
-
him in the Jordan River. But when he saw many
-
of the Pharisees and Sategies coming to where he was baptizing,
-
he says to them, you brew to vipers who warned
-
you to flee from the coming wrath. Produce fruit and
-
keeping with repentance. And do not think you can say
-
to yourself, we have Abraham as our father. I tell
-
you that out of these stones God can raise up
-
children for Abraham. The axe is already at the root
-
of the trees, and every tree that does not produce
-
good fruit will be cut down and thrown to the fire.
-
I baptize you with water for repentance. But the one
-
who comes after me is more powerful than I, whose
-
sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize
-
you with the Holy Spirit and fire. So who did
-
John the Baptist baptize? He prepared the way for the Lord,
-
which was Jesus Christ. Then Jesus came from Galilee to
-
the Jordan to be baptized by John. But John tried
-
to deter him, saying, I need to be baptized by you,
-
and do you come to me. Jesus replied, let it be,
-
being so now, it is proper for us to do
-
this to fulfill all righteousness. Then John consented. As soon
-
as Jesus was baptized, he went out by the water.
-
At that moment, heaven was open, and he saw the
-
Spirit of God descending like a dove and aligning on him.
-
In a voice from heaven said this is my son
-
whom I love. With him, I am well please. After
-
Jesus had finished instructing his twelve disciples, he went out
-
from there to teaching, preaching in the towns of Galilee.
-
When John, who was in prison, heard about the.
-
Deeds of the Messiah, he sent his disciples to ask him,
-
are you the one who was to come or should
-
we expect someone else. Jesus replied, go back and report
-
to John. You see what you hear, and see the
-
blind received sight for the lame walk. Those who have
-
leprosy are cleans to the death. Here the dead or raised,
-
and the good news is proclaimed to the poor. Blesses
-
anyone who does not stumble on account to me, as
-
John's disciples believe. And Jesus began to speak to the
-
crowd about John. What did you go in the wilderness
-
to see it read swayed by the wind? If not,
-
what did you go out to see a man dressed
-
and fine clothes? No, those who wear fine clothes, rings,
-
king palaces? And what did you go out to see
-
a prophet? As I tell you, more than a prophet,
-
this is about one whom it is written, I will
-
send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your
-
way before me? Truly, I tell you, among those those
-
born of women, there is not anything anyone greater than
-
John the Baptist.
-
Yeah, whoever is leased in the Kingdom of Heaven is
-
greater than he.
-
From the days of the Baptist until now the Kingdom
-
of Heaven has been subject to violence, and violent people
-
have been reading it for all the prophets and law
-
prophesies until John.
-
If you are willing to accept it, he is Elijah
-
who was to come. Whoever has ears, let them.
-
Hear, for John came neither eating nor drinking, and they
-
said he has a demon. The Son of Man came
-
eating and drinking, and they say he is a glutton
-
and a drunker, a.
-
Friend of tax lectors and sinners.
-
But wisdom is proven right by their deeds. Matthew seventeen,
-
verse eleven. Jesus replied, to be sure, Elijah comes and
-
will restore all things. But I tell you Elijah has
-
already come, and they did not recognize him. But I've
-
done to him everything they wish. And the same way,
-
the Son of Man is going to suffer up their hands.
-
And the disciples understood that he was talking to them
-
about John the Baptist, And who is Elijah that's gonna
-
come in the last days? Bring the Holy Spirit, expose
-
all the eight hundred and fifty son God worshiping charges,
-
and restore the broken altar. John fourteen, verse fifteen. If
-
you love me, keep my commands, and I will ask
-
the Father, and he will give you another advocate to
-
help you and be with you forever, the Spirit of truth.
-
The world cannot accept him because it neither sees him
-
or knows him. But you know him, for he lives
-
with you and will be in you. I will not
-
leave you with orphans. I will come to you. Before long.
-
The world will not see me anymore, but you will
-
see him. Because I live, you also will live. On
-
that day, you will realize that I am in my Father,
-
and you are in me, and I am in you.
-
Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one
-
who loves me. The one who loves me will be
-
loved by my Father, and I too will love them
-
and show myself to them. Then, Judas not j just
-
is carry I said, But the Lord, do you intend
-
to show yourself to us and not the world.
-
Jesus replied, anyone who loves me will obey my teachings.
-
My Father will love them, and he will come to
-
them and make our home with them. Anyone who does
-
not love me will not obey my teachings. These words
-
you hear are not my own. They belonged to the
-
Father who sent me. All these I've spoken to you
-
while still with you. But when the advocate, the Holy Spirit,
-
whom the Father will send in my name, will teach
-
you all things that will remind you of everything I
-
have said to you. So christ On Sungholm is the
-
Holy Spirit who restored the lost truth. The seventh feasts
-
and three times and the Sabbath day. He exposed the
-
eight hundred and fifty false Christian denomination to worship the
-
Sun God on Sunday service, and by keeping his commandments
-
the New Covenant, the seventh feasts and three times in
-
the Sabbath, we receive the promised Holy Spirit that only
-
God the Holy Spirit can give. If you haven't met
-
Christ on Sungholm and said you have the Holy Spirit,
-
then you are a false prophet and a liar.
-
Thank you for listening.
