Hello, Sarah, bring out with the World Mission Society Church
-
of God. We're gonna study Tree of Life in Christ
-
down some home. Genesis two, verse fifteen. The Lord God
-
took the man and put him in the garden of
-
Eden to work it and take care of it. And
-
the Lord commands of the man, who are free to
-
eat from any tree in the garden. But you must
-
not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good
-
and evil, for when you eat of it, you will
-
certainly die. Did Adam listen to God's commandment in the
-
garden of Eden? No, as we know, he ate from
-
the tree of Knowledge of good and evil Genesis three,
-
verse one. Now the serpent was more crafty than any
-
of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He
-
said to the woman, did God really say you must
-
not eat fruit from any tree in the garden. So
-
the serpent asked the woman, did God really say you
-
must not eat from any tree in the garden? But
-
did God command you that? He was asking her, But
-
she was, But he commanded Adam. So Adam's always with ease.
-
So when it says Adam, it's both man and woman.
-
It's all mankind. But what happened the woman said to
-
the serpent, we may eat fruit from the trees in
-
the garden. But God did say you must not eat
-
fruit from the tree that is in the middle of
-
the garden. You must not touch it, or you will die.
-
You will not certainly die, the serpent said to the woman,
-
for God knows that when you eat of it, your
-
eyes will be open, and you will be like God,
-
knowing good and evil. When the woman saw that the
-
fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing
-
for the high and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she
-
took tom and ate it. She also gave some to
-
her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.
-
Then the eyes that both of them were opened, and
-
they realized they were naked. So they sewed fig leaves
-
together and made coverings for themselves. The man and his
-
wife heard the sounds of the Lord God as he
-
was walking in the garden in the cool of the day,
-
and they hid from the Lord God among the trees
-
in the garden. But the Lord God called to the man,
-
where are you? He answered, I heard you in the garden.
-
I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid.
-
And he said, who told you that you were naked,
-
I do eating from the tree that I commanded you
-
not to eat from. The man, said the woman you
-
put me here with. She gave me some fruit from
-
the tree, and I ate it. The serpent in the
-
garden of Eding deceived Eve to eat the forbidden fruit.
-
She gave them to Adam, and they both came to die.
-
This is mankind sin Romans five, verse twelve. Therefore, just
-
to sin enter of the world through one man, and
-
death through sin. And in this way death came to
-
all people because all sinned. All people were tempted by
-
Satan and came to this earth to die. Revelation twelve,
-
verse seven. Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and
-
his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and
-
of the angels fought back, but he was not strong enough,
-
and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon
-
was hurled down the ancient serpent, called the devil or Satan,
-
who leaves the whole world to stray. He was hurled
-
to this earth and his angels with him. The ancient
-
serpent in Genesis from ancient days is the great Dragon,
-
the devil are Satan. In Revelations, we urgently need to
-
escape our sin and death. Every sinner on earth was
-
tempted by Satan. It has to face death a some
-
time or later. Then death is our problem. No one
-
wants to die, but we ultimately must, and we need
-
to find the solution. If a problem originated in Eden,
-
where should we find the solution? Detectives go to the
-
scene of the crime to find the answer. We must
-
also go to the scene of the crimes. Just see
-
your answer to being saved. But let's first see how
-
Jesus speaks Matthew thirteen, verse eleven. Because the knowledge of
-
the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven has been given
-
to you, but not to them. Whoever has will be
-
given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does
-
not have, even what they have will be taken from them.
-
This is why it speak to them in parables. Those
-
seeing they do not see, those hearing, they do not
-
hear or understand. And them to fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah,
-
you will be ever hearing, but never understanding. You'll be
-
ever seeing but never perceiving. For these people's hearts has
-
become callous. The hearer three ears, and they have closed
-
their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear
-
with their ears, understand with their hearts to turn, and
-
I would heal them. But bust through your eyes because
-
they see in your ears, because they hear. But truly,
-
I tell you, many prophets and righteous people long to
-
see what you see, but did not see it, And
-
to hear what you hear, but did not hear it.
-
Many righteous people long to see the secrets of the
-
Kingdom of Heaven, the knowledge. Who is the righteous on earth?
-
No one, then, that's the angels. The angels long to
-
look in parables of knowledge of the Kingdom of Heaven,
-
but were not permitted First Peter one, verse one, onto them.
-
It was revealed that they ministered not onto themselves, but
-
onto us the things that are now reported onto you
-
by those who have preached the Gospel onto you with
-
the holy ghosts sent down from heaven, things which the
-
angels desire to look into. So the angels are the righteous.
-
They long to look to look for these knowledges, this
-
knowledge from the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven. But
-
they're not. But they can't look into these things. They
-
just want to Matthew thirteen thirty four. Jesus spoke all
-
these things to the crowd and parables. He's did I
-
see anything to them without using a powable. So it
-
was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet. I will
-
open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden
-
since the creation of the world. So something since the
-
creation of the world existed as a powable. A powable
-
exists since the creation of the world, that Jesus will
-
reveal that has been hidden since the creation of the world.
-
So then, out of the sixty six books of the Bible,
-
which book tells us the story of the creation, that
-
is the first book, Genesis. So let's see what was
-
on the other side of the garden.
