  1. Sharllon beloved, Welcome to our morning, glory, devotion, and our

  2. time of fellowship in the Word of God. Let's share

  3. a word of prayer. Father, We thank you. We give

  4. you praise for another opportunity to be a part of

  5. the great things that you are doing. We acknowledge your

  6. sovereignty over our lives. Thank you for this morning. Thank

  7. you for all that you're about to teach us. We

  8. open up our hearts to receive from you in Jesus name. Amen,

  9. this is your brother and sister, pastor and missus Amasa

  10. facilitating this morning's glory. Let's take our confession together from

  11. Joshua chapter one, verse eight. This book of the Lord

  12. shall not depart out of my mouth, that I shall

  13. meditate in its day and night, that I may observe

  14. to do according to all that is rating in it.

  15. For then I will make my way prosperous, and then

  16. I will have good success in man. A scripture reading

  17. for the morning shall be taken from Jeremiah chapter twenty nine,

  18. the verse ten to fourteen. Jeremiah twenty nine, ten to fourteen,

  19. I read from the New King James version, For that

  20. says the Lord after seventy years are completed at Babylon.

  21. I will visit you and perform my good word toward you,

  22. and cause you to return to this place. For I

  23. know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord,

  24. thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you

  25. a future and a hope. Then you will call upon

  26. me and go and pray to me, and I will

  27. listen to you, and you will seek me and find

  28. me when you search for me with all your heart.

  29. I'll be found by you, says the Lord. And I'll

  30. bring you back from your captivity. I'll gather you from

  31. all the nations and from all the places where I

  32. have driven you, says the Lord. And I'll bring you

  33. to the place from which I cause you to be

  34. carried away captive a man.

  35. The pursuit of God, the pursuit of God Beloved. We

  36. learned from yesterday's devotion that God desires that we build

  37. a relationship with him, and we build a living and

  38. loving relationship with him. We also learned that he is

  39. a key to our existence and the source of our life,

  40. so it's very important that we build a relationship with

  41. Him for sustenance. In building a relationship with him, We

  42. must seek to know him, We must pursue him. In

  43. Jeremiah twenty nine, there's deads and we hear God say,

  44. and you will seek me and find me when you

  45. search for me with all your hearts. Seeking him doesn't

  46. only have to do with that strong emotion to know him. Rather,

  47. that strong desire must necessarily provoke an action. So how

  48. do we seek him diligently? How do we pursue God diligently?

  49. Pursue him in prayer? Praying, as we all know, is

  50. a form of communication with God. Well, we speak to him,

  51. and he intend speaks back to us. Pursue him by

  52. steadying his word. The word of God has God himself.

  53. His word communicates his thoughts, his plans, his instructions, his heart.

  54. His word reveals who he is to us. Pursue him

  55. through fastings. Just as Job said in Joke twenty three vers. Twelve,

  56. we should desire the words of his mouth more than

  57. our necessary food, For we do not live by bread alone,

  58. but by everywhere that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

  59. We can pursue him in worship, pursue him in praise,

  60. pursue him in fellowship, we must pursue him in action,

  61. and not just with our emotions. Beloved, seeking him brings

  62. great rewards to us. In Hebrews eleven, verse six, he

  63. assures us of his rewards as we diligently seek him.

  64. Seeking him brings us rest. Seeking him brings us deliverance

  65. In him brings understanding and descendments. Seeking him brings hope.

  66. Seeking him brings righteousness. Seeking him brings us healing, along

  67. with all the other fascal blessings that our heart's desire.

  68. He has assured us that as we delight ourselves in Him,

  69. he will grant us the desires of our hearts. Dear one,

  70. knowing all of this, it's our best interest to pursue

  71. and seek a relationship with God. We have far more

  72. to gain, and we stand to lose a lot without

  73. this relationship with God. So if we will live this

  74. Christian life, let us rise up to do it, and

  75. to do it well, and we will be the first beneficiaries.

  76. Let us not tire, but rather let us forge our head,

  77. and God will meet us in Jesus name, Amen, Amen,

  78. our memory. Verse will be taken from Deuteronomy chapter four,

  79. verse twenty nine. The trinomy chapter four of US twenty nine.

  80. But from there you will seek the Lord your God,

  81. and you will find him if you search for him

  82. with all your heart and soul. But from there you

  83. will seek the Lord your God, and you will find

  84. him if you've search for him with all your heart.

  85. And so in Jesus name, let us pray our Lord

  86. Jesus grant us the grace and the hat to seek

  87. and pursue you more diligently in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

  88. Amen, God bless you so much. Be loved for tuning in.
