  1. Shallon beloved, thank you for tuning into today's morning glory devotion.

  2. Facilitating today's session is Amanda Baidu from her vest Shapel

  3. International Dnamiko Marsi. Please let's pray Father. We thank you

  4. so much for today. We thank you for this opportunity

  5. to hear your word. We ask glad you make our

  6. hearts fatteral to receive this word and let the Holy

  7. Spirit help us to apply it in our lives. Since

  8. Jesus' name, Amen, belave it. Let's take her confession from

  9. the Book of just Shut chapter one, verse eight. This

  10. book of the Law shall not leap us out of

  11. my mouth, but I shall meditate in it day and

  12. night that I may observe to do according to all

  13. that is written in it. For then I will make

  14. my way prosperous, and then I will have good success. Amen.

  15. Our topic for today is titled Fear God, and our

  16. scripture reading is taken from numbers Chapter thirteen as one

  17. to two and chapter fourteen, verse two to three and

  18. twenty to twenty four. And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

  19. send men to spials the land of Canaan, which I

  20. am giving to the children of Israel, from each tribe

  21. of their fathers, you shall send a man everyone and

  22. leader among them. And all the children of Israel complained

  23. against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them,

  24. if only we had died in the land of Egypt,

  25. or if only we had died in this wilderness, Why

  26. has the Lord brought us to this land to fall

  27. by the sword, that our wives and children should become victims.

  28. Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt,

  29. So they said to one another, let us select a

  30. leader and return to Egypt. Then the Lord said, I

  31. have pardoned according to your word. But truly, as I live,

  32. all the earth shall be filled with the glory of

  33. the Lord. Because all these men who have seen my

  34. glory in the science which I did in Egypt and

  35. in the wilderness, and have put me to the test

  36. now bees ten times, and have not heeded my voice,

  37. they certainly shall not see the land which I saw

  38. to their fathers, nor shall any of those who rejected

  39. me see it. But my servants Caleb, because he has

  40. a different spirit in him and has followed me fully,

  41. I will bring into the land where he went, and

  42. his descendants shall inherit it. Amen, Fear God, beloved. The

  43. whole duty of man is to fear God and keep

  44. his commandments. Our God is merciful, loving and kind, and

  45. he is also fearful, a fearful judge who deserves all

  46. of our reverence. The story is told of ten Israelites

  47. who went to the Promised Land to spy in numbers

  48. shaps are thirteen to fourteen. They came back with fear

  49. and an evil report. Contrary to the promise God had

  50. given them. They rebelled against God by trusting their own

  51. thoughts and solutions, and even thirteened to kill Caleb and Joshua,

  52. who are insisting on God's promise. Because of this, the

  53. Lord punished them, saying they will never even see the

  54. land I swore to give the ancestors. None of those

  55. who have treated me with contempt will ever see it.

  56. Numbershops are fourteen, those twenty four beloved. The story of

  57. the spies is a reminder that it is a fearful

  58. thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

  59. We have to know that though He has chosen to

  60. reconcile us to himself with his son, he is not

  61. our co equal. He is still God, and we are

  62. mere men. God is greatly to be feared in the

  63. assembly of the saints, and to be held in reverence

  64. by all those around him. The fear of the Lord

  65. is the beginning of wisdom. We are not equal with God,

  66. and therefore we must be conscious not to allah pride, familiarity,

  67. or ignorance. Make us treat God with contempt, dishonor disobedience.

  68. Vain talk, unbelief, and irreverence must not be part of

  69. our lives as believers. God is king, and he must

  70. be worshiped as such, with songs of praise, a humble heart,

  71. childlike faith, and a servant's attitude. We must be careful

  72. in our conduct and our approach to God's word, God's people,

  73. and God's world. It is because of the messes of

  74. the Lord that we are not consumed every day. Beloved,

  75. we are not entitled to anything, but He freely gives

  76. us everything. His mercy, his grace, his salvation, the life

  77. he gives us, provision, protection, and love are all free

  78. gifts that He constantly showers us with, and we have

  79. a duty to respond with gratitude, humility, and reverence. Let

  80. us repent of the ways in which we have shown

  81. contempt to God, and humble ourselves before Him in our lives,

  82. as speech, our conduct, and our service. For He is

  83. worthy to be praised. Beloved, Fear God, Worship him acceptably

  84. with reverence, and awe for his consuming fire shalom our memory.

  85. Verse is taken from Proverbs chapter three, verse seven. Be

  86. not wise in your own eyes, fear the Lord, and

  87. depart from evil. Amen. Please, let's pray. Father, We thank

  88. you so much for this reminder that we are not

  89. your code equal, that you are far above us and

  90. high in the heavens. We thank you, Father that because

  91. of your great love, you have chosen to join it

  92. to us. We thank you for this reminder that we

  93. must respond to this choice so God, with reverence and

  94. with holy fear, that we must repent of our ways,

  95. the unbelief that this honor, the irreverence that we constantly

  96. show you, and the contempt. Please help us, o, God,

  97. to repent of these evil ways, that we may draw

  98. close to You even as you allow us to come.

  99. We thank you for this reminder, and we pray that

  100. you continue to fund the flames of intimacy between us

  101. and You throughout the day. And throughout our lives in

  102. Jesus' name. Amen. Thank you so much, beloved for tuning

  103. into today's morning glory devotion. Kindly stay tuned for more

  104. spirit failed content and have a wonderful day. Shalom.
